The valet individual today is why I’m giving one star, his snarky comment he thought was funny gets Zero stars.
Friendly and professional staff. Coach David was very informative and has several effective training tools to improves one game. Clubhouse staff was polite and repeated all orders back. Meals were plentiful and tasty.
We used Country club of the South for a wedding venue and they were great! Rafeal knows what he is doing and will make the entire night run smoothly! We had 185 guest, a big band/stage/dance floor, and it was magical! Although the ceremony was inside, the big windows made it feel like we were outside! The bar staff were very friendly and helpful! Everyone thought it was gorgeous and had a blast! Additionally, there was a big house we rented that the entire bridal got ready in—very convenient! We highly recommend!

Visiting from out of town. Great day on the golf course. Greens running at a good speed and course in good condition, especially for this time of year. The pro working in the pro shop was pleasant and accommodating, especially since i did not bring my clubs. Gentlemen working bag drop and the starter also made the day more enjoyable. Dinner in the restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful with the many gluten free options. My salmon was a little under cooked, but better than over cooked and i could have sent it back to be cooked a little more so that is really on me. Five of us for dinner and everyone enjoyed. I am sure i will return my next visit and know my friends will be back several times each month. Thank you.
Incredible venue for getting married. The staff are all wonderful to work with. The locker rooms are huge and very nice. The mens even has a bar and grill in it for a meal prior to. The attached villa is something that stands out beyond any other venue. It makes for a perfect home base for family in town that are helping with the wedding.
Beautiful venue and golf course
I just wanted to share , the bad experience I had with the residents of the address of 3020 COMPTON CT, ALPHARETTA, GA 30022. They called our company to do a leak repair , and we sent the invoice for $100 , and they refuse to pay. I just think its a shame that your residents can afford to live in this country club, and dont want to pay $100 invoice. Thank you and be aware of these people who dont pay.
Gracious in every manner the way the South is famous for. Excellent customer service, lushly lined course with spectacular mansions all around, well-appointed clubhouse and pro-shop. Dont miss the azalea season!

The country club is great for familys to come together for some fun. With a great pool and food. It really helps to kill the lazy Sunday. The employees are sometimes rude but mostly nice to everybody. Its a big country club so be prepared if it gets really busy. It has a wonderful pool, 12 tennis courts, and much more :)
We have done sooooooo many hardwood floors in this place, we always enjoy the residents and the fun stories of success that they share, every single time we service the community over here at Country Club of the South, it is a delightful and enjoyable experience. Lots of people enjoy the luxury lifestyle in which they live and we cater to the stars and executive lifestyle. They usually ask for one of a kind hardwood floors, and are always met with yes we can. My daughter and son-in-laws reception at the Country Club of the South was better than I could have imagined. The venue is beautiful, the staff is professional, the food was plentiful and delicious and the evenings events went smoothly. I highly recommend CCS!
The Country Club was so beautiful everything was immaculately done. The staff was professional and friendly I felt welcome as soon as I walk through the door. The food was delicious it was just a great experience Ill never forget.
We have to say thank you to the folks that live here, we do a ton of hardwood flooring in here and refinishing, mainly installation, but anyway thank you for being such awesome people.
Horrible place to have a wedding from beginning to end! Britney did not support bride or groom, was never around and basically did nothing to garner the money Club Corp got for the wedding! The food was sub par, dry and absolutely the worst! These other reviews are beyond fakery! Club Corp should review the lack of staff and reconsider Britney as their event coordinator. The receptionist did nothing as well when guest came into venue for ceremony. Just horrific service, food, and overall experience! Wow, sad for the bride, groom, family and friends that had to experience that debacle. The club itself is beautiful, but they are not setup to do weddings, food or other special event. They should not even get a star, but star is for the beauty of the club. Not for Britney,service, staff or food. Do not have your wedding at The Country Club of The South! Complete waste of $$$$$$$$$&$$$$$$!$$$$!!!!
Ruined my brother wedding. The wedding planner left the wedding before it started. The photographers directed the ceremony and the dj opened the banquet hall. The wedding planner was no show. The servers took all the food home such a disaster.

Tried to like this place and really the facility is extremely nice and the golf course looks great. Cant say the same for service. Two different visits.... Not at all impressed
My husband and I attended a masquerade ball here for Valentines Day and it was beautiful and a LOT of fun. Its a beautiful place and the staff is very nice.

CCOS has had some recent turnover with the food staff but I think it is getting there. I go there for poker night and with friends who belong to the club. Always friendly and I like supporting local businesses.
Grew up here, still visit the gym and play a round here and there. Great amenities, although Ive heard the ladies locker room could use a serious upgrade.

Worst experience with junior program! I wouldnt recommend! Staffs are limiting hours of practice and try to kick out all junior players!

2022-05-12This place is your is awful!!! My wife and I came for a weddin.. we got there a little early and wanted to have a drink and mabey app to share with the other couple with us. The staff working the front in a rudd way stopped us walking in like we didnt belong there when there was obviously a wedding going on. When we asked about getting food and a drink down stairs in a rude tone we got thats is for members only. So what I got was we are not welcome here. Now a few moments later my white and her friend walk in the upstairs bar room and where served a drink from a very nice bar tender. I walked in and the same bar tender served men and my friend I was with. A right after I got my drink this lady came in a walked up to the bar tender and yelled at him saying this is a member only section. She didnt ask if anyone was a member at all. The poor bar tender stood there in shock. The in conter was ever unprofessional and unneeded.If you out you little club up to a wedding and take the money for the wedding you should serve the guests of that wedding though out your property. Just a good business move and customer service.Over all my wife and I felt very uncomfortable and unwanted in this place. It gave a very old south feeling Whites only. Sorry just how it made us feel and my wife is white and I am a black man.We have been to a few weddings at country club and have never been treated this way.

2022-04-26This club has so much potential, as the $$ is rolling in but there are still issues.Golf course is in very rough shape this spring. Outskirts of greens are being repaired and hopefully Tee boxes are next. Previous golf supervisors either sabotaged course or had no idea what they were doing.Food is hit or miss here- as inconsistency has plagued food and beverage for years. Each chef prepares menu items differently

2021-11-19We held our rehearsal dinner here in the Nicklaus Lounge and everything was wonderful! Britney did a fantastic job answering all of our questions and helping to organize the event. The room and accompanying patio were perfect for what we needed, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this space for anyone interested. Thank you again to Britney for all of your help!

2021-10-01Amazing customer service from the moment you pull up to the front gate. Very accommodating staff who go above and beyond with a smile. I would highly recommend enjoying a stogie, humidor keeps cigars at a perfect climate and the bar tenders know how to make you feel at home.
