The Edison in other cities:
DO NOT..DO NOT look at this place for residency. They do not care if you pay rent, if you come home and can’t find a parking spot that is on you apparently. For the price that’s paid in rent you would think that these people would keep their gate closed, especially during baseball season. THEY DONT. They allow people to park directly in their complex…FOR FREEE. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in place to protect residents from undue inconvenience. So PSA..if you’re in the area for a braves game….they’re is FREE PARKING AT THE EDISON APARTMENTS..if you park across the street it’s $40. The management will NOT tow your car so take full advantage. Everyone else does !!
I have lived here almost 3 years and never had any complaints until new management. Ive waited 8 months to fix work orders at my old unit that was never fixed . Customer service is very rude , they dont take the time to explain things you dont understand charge you for things that arent your fault and try to make it seem like they accommodated you in some way . Always seems like they have that professional annoyed/rude attitude . Wouldnt recommend because of new management police are over here ALLL the time robberys etc.
The Edisons location and recent upgrades throughout the property have exceeded our expectations. Most recently we had the opportunity to work with and meet Shaquaya who was extremely friendly and helpful. Emma also took the time to follow up to make sure expectations had been met. The team here is a great and we really do enjoy the community!
You know when I first moved in there were some issues but it was manageable. Nothing too bad. The last company to own the complex at least tried. The company that bought it out is a bunch of money grubbing unethical people. Ive had my apartment flood 4-5 times and not once has it taken under 8 hours to a full day for them to send maintainence. They have done a shoddy job fixing the leaks and everything else. They leave the gate open 24/7 and refuse to fix it even when people visiting braves games clog the parking so bad that residents have to park at the gas station and walk home. Or park illegally. When these issues were brought to their attention they took the opportunity to try and charge people for limited reserved spots instead of fixing the actual issues at hand. Deplorable lazy and before anything else monumentally greedy. Why. I paying for a gated community with Gates that never work and parking is only for braves fans?
I worked and lived here for years, all the bad reviews you see are true. Don’t move here unless you want your home broken into, roaches in your furniture or mold in your unit. Truly trash management. I STILL WANT THE MONEY YOU OWE ME FOR DAMAGING MY VEHICLE WITH YOUR UNPROFESSIONAL PAINTERS, ZRS :) !
** update october 2020..... still no payment!!!**Update as of 09/29/18 - It is now 6 months since ive moved and i still have NOT received my security deposit back, despite calling and asking, and being rudely told it was sent in the mail.I hate to be yet another person to add a terrible review of this place. Admittedly I had seen these reviews prior to moving in, but was told my leasing staff that you just can’t please everyone. After living here a month, i have never wanted to leave an apartment so badly.Pros: Location.Cons: Where do i start?u2028u20281. Roaches, pests bugs: The dust hasn’t even settled off my moving boxes and already I am greeted by flying roaches that scale the walls of the apartment and stare at me as if I am the one invading their space.2. Parking: I feel like I am in a constant battle at the end of every day trying to find a space close to my building. God forbid i have somewhere to go in the evening after 6pm, because i am sure i will come back to find No spaces, and walk a mile to get to my door. Let’s not forget the fact that we were promised the gate would be up a few weeks after moving in and it’s still not been activated/closed AND they towed one of our vehicles even though we had been to the office 3 times to get decals. Towing cost starts at $250 by the way….3. Valet Trash: Why am I paying $25 a month when people dump their trash on the street outside my apartment. It’s just nasty and uncleanly, no wonder there are roaches. Also, some nights valet trash just doesn’t show up, yet I still get charged every month?4. Fixtures, appliances etc…: I wasn’t expecting the Ritz Carlton standards with an un renovated apartment, but my God, what I did get was a place riddled with bad construction, uneven flooring, melted/burnt countertops, old appliances that are on their way out, door full of scratches and the list goes on (see photos)5. Water Heat/Pressure: For having a large water pump/heater in my place taking up all the space I do have, for the life of me I don’t understand why after 2 mins of showering the hot water runs out and I am freezing my ass off. Also, the pressure goes in and out as well!6. Leasing office: They are super friendly, before you sign the lease of course. After that, a switch seems to go off where whenever you enter the leasing office you are given a look that screams, “You again? What do you want now….”I could continue, but I’m sure whatever I didn’t cover others probably have in their reviews. Don’t waste your time here, you will move within a month or two depending on your tolerance level. ALSO I never got my security deposit back. - June 2018
The staffing in the office is a the nicest subpar, they are extremely rude they hang up in peoples faces because they do not like the conversation, they will tell you many different stories and give you the run around instead of just telling the truth. Would not recommend this place at all.
The complex and staff are indeed very nice, however I wouldn’t move here unless you have A LOT of free time and patience to constantly make phone calls about maintenance. My boyfriend and I initially signed a 6 month lease (as we had been screwed in the past) and wanted to see how everything really was. It’s an AMAZING area and the office staff IS friendly, but customer service only goes so far unless there’s action behind what you’re saying you are going to do. When we moved in we did our initial walk through of the apartment to see if there was anything wrong. We made a very thorough list of things that absolutely need to be fixed, things that were damaged but didn’t necessarily need immediate fixing, and just general notes about the apartment. We lived here 6 months and NEVER had anyone come out to fix anything but the sinks that were leaking (and that still took a couple months to get fixed and us going down to the office to watch them put the work order through). We eventually weighed the pros and cons and decided to go ahead and renew our lease. We let them know a month ahead, as our move out date would’ve been June 10. It took until June 9 to get our lease to sign as they kept sending a generic lease (I have an ESA animal and had her on the original lease and sent over again all the paperwork necessary) and they still didn’t send over the correct paperwork. I don’t sign anything without reading thoroughly and I’m glad I didn’t. Not a bad complex, but I feel like I have to do the apartments job in getting anything done. Not worth the headache in my opinion.
My daughter is currently living here and dealing with a mold problem that she has complained about since she moved in about 4 or 5 months ago, She just gave birth and I visited her, pulled out the chairs in the dining area and mold is growing on the chairs of dinette set. She stated she has reported this to the leasing office and nothing but excuses have been given. My grandchildren living in this place ingesting mold is NOT going to float. Im seeing the reviews of Emma offering Starbucks, she needs to be getting to bottom of the mold situation in my daughters apartment. I have taken pictures and will pursue this since they wont help my daughter.
Currently live here. They raised rent and do nothing. Fix NOTHING. Allow braves fans to take our parking spots. Their renovation team damaged my utilities and took weeks to replace. Emma is a terrible manager tha you can’t even get in touch with. My rent is $1612 and they won’t even fix the gate
Most money hungry leasing company I have ever seen. Had roaches, flooded almost 9 times, half done renovations, paint everywhere, nowhere to park, hate broken, and instead of reimbursements, they will do an inspection and charge you for something to get more money out of you. Stay away the cheap rent is not worth the suffering you will go through!
Edison at the Battery In-Depth Review. Read in its entirety. If youre looking for a roach-invested, construction zone look no further!Community: 2/10You can look forward to giant crates everywhere, making navigating throughout the community awful. The crates have been here since the beginning of the year for renovations. The items used to renovate, such as granite countertops, can be seen laying outside by the dumpster, so whats the point of the crates? Good question! This has been going on since early 2021, so dont expect it to change anytime soon.Parking: 2/10You get a chance to live next to the Battery, walking distance away, which is a big perk! However, during Braves games people that do not live here are free to park thanks to the gates that never close. To combat this, Edison has implemented the ability for residents (who already pay rent and fees + renovation price increase) to purchase reserved parking spots. This doesnt really fix the issue, however provides even LESS parking spots during Braves games for actual residents. Parking passes would be the most logical solution, but welcome to Edison :).Residents often have to park far away from their building, or get creative and create their own parking spot.Units: 3/10Probably the most important part about living here, right? Floor plans are actually nice. Pretty decent spacing, and a nice patio included on most units. Downside is that there are roaches and spiders everywhere. The least we could do is charge them rent too. You will be charged a pest fee, but they never really do anything. Get used to the bugs. They painted the patios though!Amenities: 5/10They actually deliver on most of these.Pet Frendly - TrueOn-Site Management - TrueNew Business Center - True, they added sliding doors!Recreation Area - True. Small patch of turf with cornhole on it!Excellent Location - Lets just say this is true.Electric Vehicle Charging Stations - Definitely False. Has not worked all year. Not sure if it ever did.Swimming Pool - Open for a month or two I guess that counts.Overall: Save your money/10Dont waste your money living here, its convenient location if you like going to games or the Battery, but theres plenty of places around for that. Thanks for reading!
I toured this property this weekend with Oscar as my leasing agent and was impressed with the homes as well as the customer service. Oscar has been helpful and friendly from scheduling my appointment to the tour itself. Ultimately we decided to re-sign our current lease in another complex, as this seems to be the easiest option in a COVID world, but Ashford 75 seemed like a great property! They units are older and lacking on storage space, but the management company is currently doing renovations to all units and you can tell they really care about the property! Views are great and its walking distance to the battery! Highly recommend Oscar and Ashford 75 based on my tour alone.
Don’t live here if you have any type of job that requires the need of transportation to work. They will randomly tow your cars at night and won’t let guests park. It makes no sense. The management is incompetent. Also, instead of worrying about the parking, can you worry about the bug infestations that occur every month or two????
Karla was very polite with providing 411 Via phone & I toured with Shay she was very pleasant & very informational with everything in and surrounding the property. I was please said also met the property manager Emma she greeted me when I entered the leasing office and offered me some of their amazing Starbucks coffee that they have in the leasing office
Dec 21- So... now that the Braves have won and the hype is down, why are we still having trouble with parking?! They completed renovations but left paint all over my dishes ( which were in bags by the way so not sure how that could happen. Ceiling started leaking, and Im about sick and tired of all of these random email notifications about inspections. For those writing good reviews- half Im sure do not live here or do not live here yet. Has anyone else realized that they leave comments only about their tour experience???? They having met the roaches yet....live here if you want- just dont say we didnt try to warn you!Roaches, roaches, roaches. Infestation of roaches. Its disgusting how a place located in such a nice area is so disgusting 😡
The worst management I ever had since I moved here. Stopped frequent extermination since the took over. Towed my car with a resident sticker on it without a notice and denied parking privileges for my impaired child. Containers are everywhere. Wouldn’t fix gate and charges residents for parking that’s not in leasing agreement.
The Ashford 75 property management team delivered exceptional customer service during my lease term. During my visits to the leasing office, the staff was always cordial and professional and worked diligently to ensure residents were happy. There were always seasonal events and parties. The campus is very pleasant and relaxed with a pool and lake. My apartment was clean, comfortable, and pet friendly. The mail/package delivery system is state of the art and highly secure. The property is secured by gated entry. Rates were great considering the location. Highly recommended.
By far the worst experience I have ever had! We have had issues with this complex since we applied! First off, prior to moving in we had asked for an upgraded unit. De-Anthony arranged that for us over the phone and told us when it was available which was fine. Mind you, it took MONTHS to hear back from Christopher ( who no longer works there) to see if we even got approved. Driving from out of state we finally make it on our move in date just to find out that De-Anthony left for vacation days before our move in, gives our move in information to Valencia, we walk in the unit and it is not what we asked for AT ALL! He gave us a classic unit ( an outdated hot mess) which was not what we asked for. We let Valencia know this was not what we asked for and she had no idea what the hell was going on. Poor communication! On top of that, it was so many maintenance issues when we did our check-in list it covered the entire page! Dishwasher is old and barely works. I put in a maintenance request months ago to replace it. No one came! The sink flooded, the dishwasher is flooded as we speak, and it’s roaches. You pay for pest control and no one comes. You would think with all the complaints they get that something would be done or changed. Not at all! We have been here since May and it’s still so many issues. DO NOT move here look elsewhere!
My first apartment with my boyfriend. Adam West, yes, Adam West, is a wonderful man, kept things honest and straight forward, no hidden tricks in the complex. I loved the cleanliness of the complex, I love its location. It took no time for maintenance to come fix things. Sadly the pool was getting revamped so I only got to enjoy it once during my stay in 2017-18. The gym had great equipment, we used it 3 times a week. Walking the dogs was Wonderful because we could go to the 2 dog parks provided or easily walk in the area. Clean up after your dogs guys, theyre watching and a fine will be given if you dont. (No one likes poop on their shoes)
Glad to finally be moving out . Cockroach and spider infested. I enjoyed the experience but it definitely is not worth it. AT ALL. We don’t have roosters like a farm we have puppies on balconies waking you up every morning. So I would choose wisely where you stay for the while.
If youre apartment isnt in need of any repairs, and you dont need to work with management or maintenance, its not a bad place. But dont expect issues to be solved quickly if they do arise.Over the term of my lease, we had some issues with our AC, water drainage, and electrical outlets. Most issues took a week or more to get fixed. When our AC unit died, I had to write multiple maintenance requests, call the office, and talk with them in person multiple times before we even had someone come check it out. Then it took a few more days to actually get the problem solved. Also, beware that the apartment may not be clean when you move in. Our carpets were in desperate need of vacuuming when we moved in. But also know that if youre apartment isnt spotless when moving out, theyll penalize your deposit pretty easily. We vacuumed, cleaned bathrooms, swept, etc., before moving out, but still were penalized unnecessarily for small things.Like I said, if you dont need to deal with repairs or management, its not a bad place to live for a year. Highway access is great, and the Battery is within easy walking distance.Would I move there again if I could do it over? Probably. Am I sad that Im not there anymore? Nope.
I called to get pricing and information, one of the staffs that assisted me by the name of Emma was more than delightful! She answered all my questions, relieved my concerns, and gave me a tour within a week of my calling. Please contact Emma at Edison, she is superb and thorough!
I currently reside at the place and I have not even been here a year and I swear if it was not so expensive and such a hassle to move, I would pack up and move TODAY. The new management co. that has been here since the end of Oct 2020 is the WORST!! Super rude and could honestly careless what their residents have going on with their apartments. You have to call the leasing office and hope for an answer only to still get bs help. So concerned with bs cosmetic upgrades that they could careless about the foundation and the things that actually matter like a working AC unit in the middle of JUNE in Atl!!!If you have other options that you can move to... I would DEFINITELY look into them. Although the location is great... the management is BS!!!!
Awful community. The people who work here are awful from leasing agents to management. They don’t answer phones and maintenance ha what maintenance.... my sink has been leaking for months. Putting in a order doesn’t work they never come. The tenants are horrible as well. They park in front of mailbox center so others can’t park in spots; they block parking spots to go to the mailbox with no sympathy of others. Definitely don’t recommend living here.
Just okay apartment complex with horrible customer service. The location is absolutely top notch, and it is probably one of the cheapest complexes in that area, but you definitely get what you pay for. We had the highest level of renovations available, and while the apartment had a modern aesthetic, everything from the sink faucets to light fixtures feel very cheep. Towel racks constantly were falling of the wall, severe ceiling leaks were an issue twice in the year we stayed (and this appears to be an issue across the board- I overheard many, many other residents with similar issues), light coverings in the bathroom would randomly explode into shards of glass all over the bathroom (this happened multiple times even after they were replaced by maintenance). But what really has set Ashford apart as a disappointing experience has been the level of customer service we have received. The the exception of Shannon (our original leasing agent) and maybe 1-2 others, the office has been inexcusably irresponsible and has handled every issue we have brought to them with utter apathy. Per our lease, we should have received our rent renewal proposal at least 30 days before we reached the 60 day mark of our leases end (you must give 60 days notice that you are terminating the lease). I called the office 4-5 times to let them know we had not received our notice, waaaay after we were in the range we should have received it. Every time they would fail to provide a straight answer, and would state they would have it sent to us the next day, and a week would go by and still no lease renewal rates were posted. We did not receive this until we have them the 60 day notice that we were leaving. They also charged us a full months worth of rent in April when we should have been charged a prorated amount for the last 10 days we were there. There office has done nothing but make excuses, and they can’t even get their story straight on there end. One office manager told me that the amount was charged because I did not cancel autopay (which if I needed to do that, I should have received plenty of communication regarding that), while their general manager told me they purposely charged that amount just in case we don’t move out by our promised date (which appears to be total BS and a violation of our lease. I have also lived in 4 apartment complexes now and have NEVER experienced this before). They stated a refund for the overcharged rent would be processed the day I moved- it has been 16 days now and I just now received a paper check for that amount. So in conclusion, while Ashford 75 is affordable and in a great location, the management company has been the worst, most irresponsible rental company I have dealt with yet. If you want to live in this area and can afford a tiny bit more for rent, there a many more ideal options to choose from.
I normally don’t do reviews but for this apartment complex I had to. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The first MAJOR issue I have is the bugs. You constantly call for pest control, and they basically show up when they are ready. I dread going into my kitchen at night due to having to deal with numerous amount of roaches. I’ve even had problems with management a few times. You do have some that are really nice, but on the other hand you have some the give you their behind to kiss. I can’t wait until it’s time to move from here I’ll never look back. I’ve even encouraged friends and family that were seriously considering moving here, not to. I would feel horrible if I encouraged them to move in, and they had half of the problems that i have. At once my tub was clogged for a week straight. They sent out a Plummer 3 times within a 3 week time frame, to finally get it fixed. Not to mention how cheaply made the apartments are. EVERYTHING BREAKS! I could go on & on about how they charge you for putting trash out before time & their trash guy comes when he is ready. But I’ll cut it short by advising if you’re seriously considering moving here, please reconsider!
Recently moved here in Oct 2016, and Im very pleased with my move. Hakeem was great to work with. And other staff in leasing office (Sonia). Close to my job. Apartments are nice and its pretty much quite at night. Maintenance requests are handled in timely manner, but if not, you can always call leasing office and they will follow-up for you. Love the valet trash service. The parking is not that great, but you can always find a parking close to your building. Overall I would recommend living here.
Its so tough for me to write my first comment for this apartment because they have extremely defective service. For example, they dont have positive attitude to connect with propertys future residents ,and especially they never concern the situation of their customers such as the finance aspect, by the way, we are International Students. In our case, it begin with they said they will keep us in the loop, moreover, we could have known result about that available house within 3 days. Then they only told us that room has done with other applicant due to the poor communication. Subsequently, we tolerated this problem apply for another house that will lease next few days. Whereas, they didn’t declare the qualification like income requirement for us, more importantly, according to this reason we got in trouble in progress of application. Immediately, we went to the leasing office to handle this issue, and the employee in here mentioned we will not be charge about application fee because we did not meet the income requirement before checking our information. As the result, they have charged our application fee without any feedback statement or reasonable deny document. Furthermore, the employee hang up our call when we request to know the detail deny information especially the deny report. In this way, Im highly longing for deny report because I want know exactlywhere my money going, I just dont want my large bucks gone easily without any service and acceptable deny report. Its apprehensive ridiculous this apartment.
This place is horrible roaches, leaks that never get fixed they come move some stuff around and says its fix for it to leak again. We moved here March 2020 weve had electrical problems, plumbing problems, bug problems new management comes along same darn problems. Great location horrible complex. DONT MOVE HERE.
I waited until I moved out before writing a review so I could give this place the benefit of the doubt. This was the WORST experience I have ever had living in an apartment. The biggest problem is the staff, they are rude and all have attitudes and act like it is an inconvenience to do their job. Probably why the turnover is so high, but if you think that management is going to help you a VERY wrong they are even worse. Most of the time no one will answer the phone, and if they do again they are rude and not helpful, if you go into the office everyone is on their personal phones and will make you wait while they finish their lunches and or personal text messages. The office is so unorganized, they dont have copies of paperwork and ask you to forward what you signed to them so it can be added to your file, really? I was excited when I moved in, the floor plans are great, and have heard great things about these owners. I was very disappointed about 3 days after moving in, and it never got any better 10 months later. For such a great location its sad, the owners could have a great complex but unfortunately they do not. Between the HORRIBLE staff with problem after problem, the trash all over the complex, dog poop that no one picks up its a situation that no one seems to want to correct. Obviously the problems are bad enough if they now have 2 cops sitting on the property full time to monitor the issues. I would strongly recommend that you do not sign a lease with this complex you will quickly regret the decision as I did. DONT DO IT
I lived here for 10 months. There’s several pros and cons but overall its a good place to live.Cons:-Pool was closed during 80+ degree weather ALOT for maintenance- Had several maintenance issues in the apartment, Most of which had to be worked on more than once for the same issue- Strict trash rules, They send people fines for leaving the trash out even though we do pay valet trash monthly. I never received one but I’ve seen it happen. You’re supposed to receive a trash can from them, I didn’t know that until 3 weeks before moving out.Pros:- Quiet community- Friendly workers in the leasing office and also the maintenance guys- Gym is clean- Pool is spacious- Neighborhood is very family oriented & dog friendly- Many options close by for groceries, Shopping & activities. This was my first time living alone. In a new state, I enjoyed my time here but the goal was to buy a house. In my opinion the townhomes are nicer than the apartments. Ive seen emails about “hallways smelling like weed” but not once did I ever smell anything around where I lived at.Ashford 75 is a good place to live in. If you plan to stay long term you will have some maintenance issues but nothing severe. If you plan to stay short term I am sure these little issues wont be much of a problem.Go with the townhome 👍🏽
This place advertises having a pool, but I’ve lived here for a year and a half and it has been closed essentially the entire time. Last summer, it was closed due to COVID, which I can understand. But they recently decided to close the pool until June. I’m sure they will come up with another excuse to close the pool when that time comes around. If you enjoy going to the pool, don’t live here.
I would not recommend this place to anyone my car got told why I was there they said there was a Jacuzzi thats not true people clothes were still inside the apartment I was asking for a Airbnb this is not an Airbnb to me this is not a place that I would have for anyone to stay in
For the price and locations the apartments are great! I have seen a few roaches, but that is to be expected of apartments. I love how close it is to the Braves stadium and the two interstates. However, the leasing office are little to no help. I have had two of my packages stolen and it started when the kids of the neighbors below my units started hanging out at the top of the stairs next to my door. I went to the office to raise the concern (plus the stairs aren’t common area) and was given the roundabout.
This apartment complex is terrible besides location. They redid our toilets leaving a gross and big ring around the new toilets. I have had problems with roaches since the day I moved in. The hallways are always trashed they vacuum the carpet but it doesnt do much for the smell. The kitchen sink has flooded multiple times leaving rot underneath the sink and they (fixed) it my nailing a small piece of wood in front of it. There is constantly mold on the windows. Maintenance is rude, the people in the front office are nice but it doesnt help how horrible this place is.
I am a current upset resident. There is a constant cockroach problem here. Also, there is a strong problem with the maintenance team. They do not fix things on time and sometimes not at all. I have tried to complain about the roach problem every month, for 8 months now and the issue is still not resolved. The team is very defensive when you try to speak to them about the issues, as if you should not say anything. If your calling the leasing office..good luck, never a answer. Please stay away. The apartments look good from the outside but the team is not focus on the current residences, just getting new ones in apartments. I am very upset i got a place with these guys.
The staff is very nice and welcoming. My leasing agent Hakeem did everything to make sure we had everything we needed. My application and move in process was smooth and easy. The grounds are beautiful and the apartments are updated and nice. Smyrna is a great area for anybody to live! I recommend Ashford 75 to everybody moving to the Atlanta area that wants to be in a bustling area right outside the city.P.S. Hakeem is the best!!
The Management team puts forth a strong effort to keep the Community looking clean & nice. Also the maintenance team has been responsive, props to Scott who takes ownership like it’s his own personal property, it goes a long way when people care to fix your issues and he’s a great guy
My Experience at Ashford 75 was the worst in my 10 years renting apartments. The apartments and hallways are loaded with cockroaches and bugs. I had 10 months lease there and we had 3 total floods. One time one of the neighbors apparently stuffed a scrubbing pad into the sewage and caused the flood, nasty stuff coming out of the toilets and showers. The other time a neighbor that lives on top had a fire in the kitchen. The third time was a problem with their outer sewage. Their maintenance people were the worst. They took very long time to come in and fix the issues. They never came and cleaned after fixing the issue, we had to clean bath tubs full of waste and mob bathroom floors, etc. They broke 2 of our queen beds moving the stuff(only one employee showed to move the furniture which damaged further) The last time the sewage was backed up the whole apartment flooded. They ripped the toilets completely from the ground for 3 days we had no bath room access. No toilets, no showers. To top everything off when we moved out after our lease ended they charged us over $200 worth of damage fees (leaving the shower curtains, leaving lamps in the living and bed room, and leaving the trash can in the kitchen, along with other small items). Their managements simply don’t care about our experience and replied with “Accident happens”. Their apartment manager DJ would not even meet with me when I went back to dispute the charges. We stayed their for 10 months in a non-livable situation. Worst experience and I do not wish it on my worst enemy!
Maintenance comes announced, leaves my door unlocked, and all lights on for HOURS. Then they lied and told me nobody was in there that day. Meanwhile my door is unlocked and my AC filter is missing (which was black from dirt until i asked for it to be replaced.) took 3 days for them to replace the filter. I come home again today with all of my lights on and my dog cowering in the corner. I called the office 25+ times and nobody answered. Then i received a text saying that every employee was currently in an “appointment” and they would call me back asap. Never got a call back. Also. There are tiny little roaches everywhere and i asked for the terminex service weeks ago, and they havent showed yet. Quiet neighborhood. Expensive apartment. Highly unimpressed with the management.
Went to go check this place out because of the floor plans that we was interested in. As soon as my BF and I walked in, we were immediately greeted with a smile and was told we would be taken care of. The leasing agent Christopher B. was extra pleasant and engaging. He offered us a refreshments and engaged in conversation with us about what we were seeking, move in, pricing and etc. It really makes a difference when the agents is not only interested in selling a unit but also in their potential residents. Christopher had remarkable customer service skills that didn’t go unnoticed. He also provided us with us ins and outs of the complex and amenities. Very knowledgeable about the community. Christopher thank you again. From Jersey Boy and Florida Girl 😁
Let me explain how my experience with Ashford 75 has been. Move in was amazing. Adam West was professional and very welcoming. We moved into a renovated 1bd/1ba unit in building 27. Parking is supposed to only be available to those with passes and if you dont have a pass, you have to park in visitor parking. Every day i get home and there are multiple cars without parking passes parked at my building. The light is the breezeway was hanging from the cieling by its cord for 2 weeks. There is always a pile of tobacco on the stairs from people rolling blunts inside the building. People that live here dont care about the stop signs. I have almost been hit several times. They sent a violation notice because my laundry service dropped off my laundry at my door. The notice not only said that what they thought was trash was oversized, but that they disposed of it. Neither of which were true, but thats what the ignorant staff here get you. The grounds are well maintained. Havent visited the pool. Gates were supposed to be functional montgs ago, yet there has been no use of them except for someone hitting one eith their car. Again people here have no idea how to drive. Management is lazy. Everybody parks there cars in the entrance to wait for the schoolbus like its a parking lot. People drive out the entrance as you are coming in the entrance. Once my lease is up, i am not renewing it.Update: New apartment has been chosen and locked in. Today I recieved my lease renewal form, and if i had continued staying here, my monthly rent would have gone up $200. These apartments are not worth the 1225 + utilities + pet rent. Thank you to the members of the office staff that are amazing, but please please please, any potential residents, read the reviews. They dont lie.
Apartment space is suitable for the rent price and the location in Smyrna (right next to SunTrust stadium) is convenient, but the management is deficient. Although there are some highly capable leasing agents/employees on staff, there are others that struggle communicating. When facing issues of stolen packages or inaccurate rent charges, my roommate and I have been met with apathetic or unresponsive staff. Currently, we have been unable to contact an agent for nearly two weeks regarding a rent payment issue.I am confident that these management concerns could be alleviated with a focused effort on organization and communication. One suggestion I could offer is to have more employees available in the office to handle high volumes of tenants, which Im sure can be overwhelming at times.
Don’t waste your time. I signed a lease with them in April to move in by the end of March and had made it known to my current apartment that i would be moving out then. We paid everything on time, made all of our deposits and provided all the documents to be approved and were approved for move in date. We went through Valeria throughout the entire process and were certain we were moving into a apartment we had paid for and looked at in our visit. The same morning of move in day, as we have all of our stuff in moving trucks we receive a call from the office saying they are sorry but the room we had been paying for had been moved into in April. We had already paid for their first month of water and they never thought to tell us until the day we showed up with all of our belongings and told us we could wait another two months to move in to a different apartment. We were stuck without a place to sleep and had to resort to a friends couch. We still have not heard back from Valeria about this issue she has decided just not to respond to our emails. Sometimes sorry doesn’t cut it, this was the worst experience I have ever had with renting.
IN SHORT DO NOT MOVE HERE, IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!If I had to choose one word to describe this place it would be CHAOS. The leasing staff lacks communication and is far from organized. I found a listing for a one bedroom online and was promised a 7 month lease for a fixed amount of rent per month on the second floor; it was all verified by the leasing office when they called to follow up with my online application and move in date. The day I moved in is when everything started to go downhill.1.My second floor was switched to basement floor. Literally felt like living in a dungeon.2.My 7-month lease was changed to a 12month lease, unless I wanted to pay an extra $100 per month. Then be sure to keep in mind that this is a very untraditional apartment complex and make you give a 60-day notice to move out instead of the typical 30-day. Then they jack up the rent and utility costs until you move out.a.Upon putting in my 60-day notice the lady actually tried to tell me how to fill out the comments section and not put in my concerns, complaints and reasons for moving out. Then I was also charged for the full month rent upon move out even though my move out notice was before the end of the month. After talking to the third person and getting a third story I was able to only pay what I legally owed.b.There is no deposit they sneak in the fact that it is a non-refundable rent fee.3.They did not bother to mention that parking permits are required and got a nasty tow warning plastered to my window that refused to come off. Then when inquiring about a temporary parking permit for my mom to come stay for 2 weeks I was informed that they do not use them anymore, then when I asked someone else they tell me it is a $50 charge for a replacement.4.If you need a handicap space, you won’t find an available one here, people will park anywhere they find a place, no parking zones, handicap zones, fire lanes, they don’t care.5.Pool is closed once a week for a full day for maintenance, which is fine however when it is shut down repeatedly for no reason that is another story.6.The smell up and down the halls is awful, there is always trash inside the hallways and piled up around the dumpsters.7.Maintenance requests are a joke, they take at least a week to respond, even when you have a leak. Then if you put in a request for something that they do not want to do they will close it and mark it as completed. (Tested the theory 3 times) in the short time I have been here I have had issues with:a.The floor in the bathroom peeling offb.A leak saturating my closet floorc.A leak coming in from the bedroom windowd. The sliding door missing the exterior handle so anyone could get into the apartment.e.The garbage disposal, twicef. The electrical outlets in the kitchen not workingg. The light in the kitchen only came on sometimesh.Don’t put command strips on the walls, there are so many layers of paint it will rip right down with just a dry towel hanging.i.Mold growing on the walls8.They leasing staff is so rude, all they care about is collecting rent. They do not care about your concerns or complaints all they want is you to be a money bag until you go away and then next money bag arrives.9.Personally I am an extremely clean individual; now they charge you for pest control every month, but not once have I ever seen anyone actually come out and do anything. So the roaches are everywhere.10.Mail is not secure; the mailboxes are left unlocked by the mail man and they lose your packages at the office all the time.
I loved how energized and excited Chris B was about his job. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in up until the moment I applied for the apartment and was leaving out. His friendly personality along with the location and price made It hard for me to turn this place down. Throughout the entire application process, chris worked with us heavily. Now we’ve been in the apartment for about 2 weeks now and Chris has still been a great help when It comes to anything that I have a question about. Thank you for helping us find our new place of living! 😃
The apartments look much better than they did years ago! The management team is professional and the office looks really nice. Maintenance could do a little better with completing work orders in a timely manner, but I understand that they are going through a transition. Luis & Hakeem are always helpful.
My apartment is so beautiful, great location, and the staff were all very helpful in getting my lease signed quickly, and without hassle. However I have had several leaks in my kitchen from unknown sources, when I submitted maintenance request for these it took several days before someone would come to inspect. By that time the water had already evaporated and they left without doing anything despite my living area smelling like mold and the wall on the opposite side of my kitchen being warped from water damage. Also for the last month I have been sharing my apartment with a rather large family of cockroaches. The whole complex was recently sprayed for the roaches, and it appeared to help for a short time when I would come home and find them dead. But now they scurry around very much alive day and night.. probably because there is mold in my wall from the water leak and they have made that area their home, and now mine as well.
These ppl really put on a front to convince you to rent!! They dress nice, office looks nice, they seem legit but are a bunch of posers and unprofessional MFers!!! These ppl cannot get anything right!!! They take weeks upon weeks sometimes going into months to fulfill service requests. Since Ive moved in, its been nothing but problems after problems. Within two weeks of moving here, I deeply regretted it. I have to constantly send emails and be on top of the staff to fulfill my requests. Its as if you are begging them and it goes right over their heads. You would put in a request or complaint and then call back a few days later and they would pretend to not know or act lost like they have no idea what is going on like you never made the request. Then when you scream and get upset, they finally send someone out. Only way to get them to get something done is by getting out of character and reaching out to their parent company Radco Living. These ppl are a waste. Not even the manager gives a sh*% about how residents feel. No wonder why the staff is this way. My apartment was dirty when I moved in, stuff was falling apart, painting wasnt done and dishwasher did not work. They would change the story or push back the date every time I called or emailed. Took 1.5 months for someone to come out to fix these things and that was after I filed a complaint with Radco. Now I am waiting on delivery and installation of a washer and dryer that got pushed back twice. About to be three weeks soon. They did not even put my original request in the system after I requested it the first time. When i called the next time, they tell me i have no request in the system. These people are sad sad sad. If you read other reviews, other ppl have the same complaints. Ashford 75 is just terrible.
Do not move here. Horrible maintenance. I have stayed at Ashford 75 for a little over a year. I ordered a washer and dryer and when it was delivered it could not be fully installed because of a rusted over cold water valve. I put in a maintenance request and they came 2 days later and looked at it and said it needed to be replaced and they would put a order in for the part. A week passed and nobody came, so I went to the office and they said the part was in and they would send somebody. Another week passed and nothing. I went back to the office and they apologized and said theyd have somebody come and fix it right away. A few days later Maintenance came and left a note saying he couldnt remove the part and he would be back the next day. The next day he left a note saying he removed a metal piece from the valve and when i looked at the valve it was stripped. I went to the office and showed them a picture they said theyd have if replaced, again. After a week nobody showed up. I just grew fed up of having to go back to the office week after week and I had the company the washer and dryer came from come pick it up. It has been over a month and after promises of having it fixed, nothing. This is a terrible place to stay with cheap renovations. They make everything on the outside look nice and try to cover up what is on the inside. Its in a great location, but I would not recommend.
I love the new computer room & gym. The renovations are nice and much better than they were years ago. The leasing agents Sonia & Hakeem are always helpful. I was running late to an interview and they allowed me to use their computer to print out my resume since they computers downstairs were out of ink.
Ok, so I have mixed feelings about Ashford 75, and I believe its because Ive lived in such nice apartment complexes before this one.1. You cant help who live by, but Im thinking there should be more of an interview process of who is allowed to move in. Especially with kids living in this complex.2. Maintenance can be slow, but if you get in contact with management (Yolanda-she is amazing) they will handle it right away.3. Not everyone in the leasing office is eager to help you.4. Our A/C has gone out...twice. In the summer. And Im pregnant. But, maintenance helped the first time very swiftly.5. We had a bit of a bug/roach problem when we moved in. (When you move in MAKE SURE THEY HAD PEST CONTROL TREAT BEFORE YOU MOVE IN). We asked for pest control (which is included in our rent) and they basically just came and put powder down. We also asked for our outlets to all be secured. They never came. It wasnt until we paid out of pocket for someone to come take out and re secure our outlets that we saw a SIGNIFICANT change in number of pests we saw. We havent seen any since we did that.6. Moving in, we realized how unclean things were. (The drains were clogged with hair, cabinets were badly stained, corners had cobwebs etc,.). Make sure your unit has had a DEEP clean before you move in.Overall, this place has potential. Yolanda (assistant manager) is great and always helps! Also, its a luck of the draw who your neighbors are. You could end up with the ratchets, the dirty neighbors, or normal people. Hope for the latter.Maintenance staff is great when they perform your requests, its just the timing to perform your requests and system that is flawed. That can be fixed.UPDATE: the roaches are RIDICULOUS!!!! There is a horrible underlying infestation. I have a newborn baby in here and we are moving out (cancelled our lease early) because of how bad things have gotten! DO NOT MOVE HERE.
Lived here for a year after moving from out of state. Stayed in a townhouse, very nice and upgraded. The place was pretty quiet for the most part. Close to everything, including the stadium. Could hear cheering and fireworks from the games all the time. I do miss it but it got really expensive and I guess that’s because of the location. Maintenance was done fairly quickly and the area was kept clean. I used the gym frequently which was also nice and clean.
For one, the inside of the apartments do not have these fixtures and finishes. So lets start there.Second, the place and community is livable, if you dont mind the constant towing of your vehicle at your own expense and the constant issue with the water. They are doing a lot of construction on the property RIGHT NOW but the water issue goes as far beyond it and as such: take a quick shower because the hot water only last for about 5 minutes - then it runs cold, the water pressure is a joke - if a neighbor above you or under you is running their dishwasher or washer, good luck with your shower/dishwasher/washer. All of it is a joke. They combined the rent, water, and trash valet because they know their water system is a complete dumpster fire. The tow people they use are grimy and dont care if they damage your vehicle ( PRONTOW ) is their name or whatever). Ive had to fix my tire because they popped it before. And Ive been towed about 3 times IN MY OWN COMPLEX THAT I PAY FOR TO LIVE IN. The complex strives off towing people and I honestly think thats where they make most of their money to upkeep their sad amenities. The computer room under the leasing office is always disgusting and the computer keyboards dont even work. The manager at the office always has an attitude. No matter what. Sour for no reason so if you have a complaint or grievance, just be prepared for her not to give a care. Now the living amenities when it comes to the apartments are OK at best. All they did was add a coat of paint or two and thats about it. Still dinky and outdated. Granted, you are next to the Battery and all that and they have a low cost but just mind your own business and watch out for your car! I understand different people have different worries and needs and when push comes to shove you need a place to live, just be careful of the things I listed. Lord knows I would have picked a different place if I, one, had know of the towing foolery and water issues and, two, known that there was ALWAYS going to be an issue at the complex. Anyways, if you read this then great! Just be careful on choosing this place.
The Ashford 75 staff are amazing!! They are very quick to respond to any issue you may have. They are friendly, inviting, and overall they are the most genuine people I have met during all my time searching for apartments. The facility is beautiful and very family friendly. Would highly recommend living here.
If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is not the place. The walls are extremely thin I can hear my neighbors conversations and the creaking from my upstairs neighbors walking. Dogs barking all night being left on the balconies. Nothing gets fixed around here, doors to the building have been broken for months!!!! The gates were supposed to have been repaired for months, still not closed yet!!!!! The bugs are something else!!!!! Once my lease is up I’m gone; these are the worst apartments I’ve ever lived in. Beware you’ve been warned, don’t rent here!!!!!!!!!!!
Do NOT Live here! Even if management changes it will not get better because RadCo has very poor leadership and customer service. Parking is horrible. Gates do not work. Peoples cars are being broken into. I have lived here for 9 mo and I am about to move out. Not once has the gate worked!! I moved here because it was a gated community. They continued to lie and say it would be fixed but it never worked for a single day. Due to the gate not working everyone parks here to go to the battery. They stopped towing because residents guest were getting towed. My boyfriend ( a resident) car is going to be in the shop for a mo but their is never any visitor parking. He asked the office for a resident pass and they said they can’t do anything. I spoke to the property manager DJ about the gate. He told me that it’s not in the contract so they are not wrong for not having the gate fixed. I was in shocked when he spoke to me like that. I reached out to RadCo asking to speak with a supervisor. They just had DJ call me again. I called them said I want a supervisor and they said that having DJ call was procedure. However I didn’t ask for DJ I asked for a supervisor. I would have called ashford if I wanted DJ. The regional manager, Scarlett Sparkman got back with me 3 weeks later! By the time she finally called more problems occurred. My boyfriend (a resident) didn’t have anywhere to park because he had to park as a visitor since his car was in the shop. He had to park 15 min away. This is not what we paid for. Scarlett had ashford give us some old pass after I complained for hours to multiple people. So after all of that ashford did have something. The crazy thing is she did not even know that the gates were not working!!! How does RadCo not know this! Do you not visit your properties as a regional Manager’s She told me getting my boyfriends tag was priority and that she would get back with me that day/ week regarding everything else. She never did. I left her a vm almost a week after she failed to get back with me. She left a VM saying she wasn’t sure why I was calling and re explains my bf parking tag situation. I wrote her this long email reexplaining everything. Ashford 75 has since sent out an email addressing many break ins. I told her it is radcos poor leadership skills that have caused this! She responded saying, “If you see any crime happening please immediately call the police and report suspicious behavior.” I had no clue that’s how that worked. In her response she ignored all of my questions and concerns. I feel we deserve some kind of refund and answers! I would never have lived here knowing the gate wasn’t working. If the gate worked most of these issues would not exist. Plus there are some locations that a tow truck cannot get, so towing is BS! When we were trying to move in I told them to communicate with my bf bc I will be in another state in meetings. They emailed me ( no phone call) to tell me the day before that the apartment was not ready. I saw it late at night when my boyfriend had already rented and packed the uhaul and was headed there in the morning. I called them and told them I told you to speak to him! I can’t deal with these issues. They paid for his hotel and we still lost money bc we had to rent the uhual for an extra day. There are so many other issues, but these are the main ones! Don’t live here!
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. There is a roach infestation. I have requested for pest control to spray several times. In addition, I spray my own pest control. The roaches have gotten worse. I see like five everyday (maybe they will help pay the rent or pitch in on the power bill). This is probably caused by the poor construction in the apartments. There are several areas in my apartment, where items such as the kitchen counter-tops are unhinging from the wall. This allows roaches to crawl in an out. Additionally, the hallways in the buildings are constantly dirty with trash. This complex should not have valet trash. The rent is to high to live with roaches. Just today, I found a roach in my microwave. I want to throw the entire apartment away. If you complain to the office, they ask about your housekeeping. I am a very clean person. I do not keep food or anything out. I will say the staff has been very responsive with sending pest control. However, the problem lies with the construction of the buildings. I refer to the apartments as lemons like lemon cars). They look good at first. However, after some wear and tear you can see the construction defects. My advice to management would be to completely and efficiently renovate the apartments. The building structure itself needs work. Additionally, before renting an apartment you need to have a pest control company come through ans seal outlets and cracks to prevent them from moving from apartment to apartment.
Id like to thank the Manger D.J espD.J has an amazing Office staff, who addresses and take care of residents concerns and needs in a timely manner. The property has made some major updates with the gym/workout area. I can count on associates from this branch to take care of business, I would like to thank the employees in the business office who have been kind and very helpful with concerns that I bring to them.Esp. Aaliyah and Dee, they are always friendly and professional, there are others who display great attitude and professionalism, Im just not sure of their names. all in all great customer service at this Branch
Been trying to get in touch with someone in the leasing office for over a week now and cant get anyone on the phone. Were in the middle of a recession and im willing to sign a lease right now, youd think they would jump at the opportunity. They must not have any availability, even though the website says they have open unites. Look somewhere else if you need a place soon--they dont want any new residents right now.
Nothing but a terrible experience from the time we viewed the apartment until now. We are fairly new residents and have had to deal with way too much incompetence already. Our move in date was changed without anyone telling us. Our unit was changed multiple times without anyone telling us. We got switched from a renovated apartment to a non-renovated apartment on the bottom floor under a bunch of loud kids at the last minute. And it turns out this place also has a roach infestation. They make you pay for pest control but it clearly doesnt do much. Our application took WEEKS to process because the leasing agents refused to give any information about it over the phone. We had to actively check up on them to get any information about our application. It seems like they dont know what customer service or active communcation is. We were NEVER notified of the changes in apartment numbers/ move in times until we called to check and make sure everything was okay. This required us to go back and forth with our utility companies which was very time consuming. They even refused to give us our mail key for the first week that we moved in, didnt tell us our mailbox number, how we could pay rent online, and where our packages are stored. There were about 15 things wrong with our apartment when we moved in a month ago. All were documented when we moved in, and half of them still havent been fixed. The only reason why the other issues were fixed was because we had to call management EVERYDAY for WEEKS and threaten them with escalation before someone fixed. The manager even came to my apartment with the maintenance supervisor so that I could show them everything that was wrong. STILL NO RESOLUTIONS, besides the fact that I am now able to wash my clothes in my unit (something that took a month to fix). Now threatening escalation doesnt work. This place is run by unprofessional, apathetic children who lie just to get you off the phone and NEVER get anything done. Good luck with maintenance, they are just as bad. I saw bad reviews about the previous management company and thought this new one (Greystar) would be better, but it is terrible. Id break my lease if I didnt have to worry about repaying the pet deposit elsewhere. SERIOUSLY, DONT MOVE HERE! You know youre screwed when even MANAGEMENT wont get anything done.July 2016 Update- they switched management companies. The new one is more professional but you still have to hound them to complete any request. I had a pipe leak behind the wall 3 separate times. Each time I had to hound them to first fix the leak and then more hounding to get the wet carpet clean. Had to live in an apartment with soaked carpet that reeked of mildew for over 2 weeks. Weve been getting billed for pest control since move in but they only come when I put in maintenance requests, and that never fixes the problem (I am very clean and the infestation was pre-existing). They have come a total of 4 times in 12 months. Maintenance always claims to lose yor key when you submit a pressing request. Ive had to give them 4 separate copies of my key with this new company. They are great when you are new or renewing, but you are screwed once you sign.
I have been moved out of this complex for 4 months now, sent in my 60 day notice when asked to. have been charged rent for the last 4 months with no explanation, they stopped replying to my emails after i found out the person who received my notice actually stopped working here before i moved out and never told anyone. i was told this would be fixed and the manager would handle it. i got a letter in the mail yesterday stating im still being charged and that my credit is basically ruined because of how unorganized this complex is. They dont care about the people who live here or about fixing their mistakes. my credit is ruined for something as simple as someone not sending over my notice to someone who can actually handle it correctly. pure unprofessionalism
ITS NOT THAT BAD. I was a little iffy based on reviews, as well. But just like anything, you just need to check things out for yourself and get a feel for things.Cons:1) We did have a bit of a roach problem, maybe like 3 or 4 every other NIGHT but thats about all. We think its because of the remodeling above our apartment that caused them to be more active. We had our own treatment but also called ORKIN and *knock on wood* we are good.2) Building is a bit outdated. Nothing that a good power washing /landscaping crew wouldnt fix. I know there is landscaping around but they dont really do much for the walk way by the lake where there is litter. The hall ways are clean for the most part but sometimes it seems as if the cleaning gets skipped for the night.3) I dont really like how we have to pay for pest control or valet trash if we arent using it. Valet trash especially- there have been numerous of nights where we will put our trash our per their directions and we will get skipped. We have been informed it was because the trash crew have multiple tasks- but its all whatever- thats the least of my worries.4) Rent is pretty decent. I would like for there to be a laundry unit on site at least- if they had that and updated a little it would be the exact bang for my buck.Pros:1) Management is fine to me. Ive always dealt with Adam and Dj and they both have been awesome and very communicative. I like how they do small things to get the community together . We have only been here about a month and so far they have had about 2 different parties at the leasing office (Ice cream/Christmas etc.)2) Maintence has also been fine for us. We havent had much *knock on wood* but whenever we do they are usually responsive within a day or so.3) Amazing location! Thats what sold us more than anything. 8/10 we literally walk everywhere. They have a little bit of everything everywhere. The complex is quiet for the most part and safe enough for kids to be walking around by themselves . Multiple nightly patrol are on site as well...I even had one pull by and check on my girl and me when we were walking at night-so its nice to have that sense of safety.Overall, this complex hasnt been that bad. I think we did great for our first move! :)
So I moved into my unit on the property today and once again Hakeem was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish. I was so stressed out with the move but he made it way less stressful! Not only is he a great leasing agent but i see a friendship blossoming. Every living community needs more people like him :)
Cannot wait to move, never any parking! Maintence walks into apartment without announcing themselves, even after we have complained about it multiple times. The office is horrible at listening or communicating with my roommate and I. The location is the only positive part of this whole complex. This may just be our experience, but if you do move here, I wish your stay is way better than ours.
The only thing that’s nice about these apartments Is the location. There is a serious pest issue that has made my life living hell. I have never had to coexist with roaches in my own home! I no longer cook in my kitchen because of the fear of roaches. The rent price is definitely not worth the stay!
It is impossible to speak to someone. The first time I tried the number hung up on me and I was texted instead without consenting to a texting feature. Once I asked for a call instead I was given a number to call the office directly. However it was just a voice operated machine that lead me through a bunch of options before making me leave a message for someone to call me back, also not what I wanted. I would like to have a way to call them and speak to someone but that is not an option here. If I cant even get information about an apartment I cant imagine what living here is like.
My son and his wife and daughter was excited to move into another apartment complex, but the thing is: They have paid their money for rent and as they were moving in, the ceiling fell in in my grand babys bathroom. Its been almost a week and they still dont have another unit ready for them to move in. They have their furniture in a moving van because they have no where to go. They are sleeping on the floor, and having to continue to pay to rent the moving van everyday they extend the rental. My grand baby cannot live there because she have allergies and asthma. She have to go to school on Monday, and she is staying with her grandmother in SE Atlanta, which is 45 minutes to 1 and a half hour away from her school, pending traffic. They do not seem to care for their inconvenience of the fact that they have to go to work after sleeping on the floor nightly. Sure, they have called, talked to, and email management, and they still have not put them in another unit or even tried to make them as comfortable as they can. This is very frustrating and unprofessional. Either put them up in a hotel until they have another unit available or give them their money back.....I am so hurt.
After finding this place online and looking at the pictures, the location was amazing and the price was affordable. Most sites listed the places as $865, their own website has it listed as $860. I was called by a fella I believe his name was Andre, he talked to me and stated the prices werent that but over $1k(isnt this false advertisement anyways). I told him that was out of my price range for a 1br, he said OK no problem we will not run your application and give you a refund. Fast forward a few days I get an application denial, based on a bogus background check that contained false information. I called and asked why it was ran basically got the run around and was told you were denied. I called RentGrow(background company) they re-did my background check and I was now approved, mind you this is all still in the same month. Call back and ask about my application and was told even though I am cleared, I have to re-apply, mind you this was after 3 days of phone calls and emails. I really try not to read reviews or stuff like that, I saw what people were saying about the place here. The only positive interaction I really had was with the rental agent I believe her name is Lisa, through text. But is this location really worth this much aggravation?
I stayed the night and among the first things I noticed was the poor quality workmanship on repairs. So I dont know if this is just here or a general problem in the area because I did see poor work in other areas too. This place has potential but it wont ever meet it until they get a maintenance crew or contractor that actually care.Oh and they should get rid of garbage pick up. Its obvious that its contributing to pest and odor problems as people will leave trash with or without bags outside their door for hours, possibly days, until the trash company comes to pickup. Seriously, if you cant manage to walk your trash to the dumpster maybe you should find somewhere else to live.
ROACHES!!! I cannot stress this enough. Since Ashford 75 commented on my review I have not been contacted. Nor has pest control been here to control pests I.e. german roaches. No matter how clean you are these buildings are infested. Getting the office to send out the pest control you pay for in your lease is like pulling teeth.I have a hole in my ceiling that has had a work order put in since September. My move in was complicated. Dates and Units switched 4 times before I got the unit I am in. I will admit the office was fairly helpful through all of that. That is where it ended. Since then its been problem after problem and the office doesnt care at all. They got me to sign a lease now I dont matter. will NOT resign a lease. Cant wait to move.
In general, the price is adequate per the quality, size and the location. We had two bedrooms/two bathrooms for 14 monthsWill start with the good:1. very big rooms. wide enough to fit a lot of furniture2. location is close to I75 and I285. close to lots of shopping and food places.3. price was optimum for qualityBad:1. The management before 2018 was very poor. They rent two bedroom however we asked for only one bedroom. They had very unprofessional employees. Whenever its the employee mistake, it means get your head stuck in the wall2. valet trash is awful. they usually keep one or two trash bags left behind in the street in front of our building3. appliances are very old. pale color and scratches on fridge4. the building smell cigarettes and the people will drink alcohol and threw the cans on the stairs5. kids are playing most of the daytime long, LOUDLY6. When we are moving out, the management made a mistake counting the 60 days notice period. Simple they did not think of open the calendar to count 60 days, just assumed that every month is 30 days. We had to fight with them to get our money back. They said verbally that they will return the money. Then after two weeks, we had nothing. I called them, and their response that you were told verbally, you dont have a document to prove it. I said that i will call the corporate management and hang up the call. Few minutes later, someone called me and the money is gonna be sent with a check. It took them 5 weeks to process the check, after 2-3 reminders.7. the water goes off for hours and you are stuck homeThe worst thing ever is ROACHES (small ones not the big)they have roaches, and the place is very old, kitchen is very old. Pest control came many times, and the issue never resolved. To be fair, we lived there for 14 months, and we can find a roach every week consistently. In conclusion,If you need a cheap place, where you will just go to sleep at. I would say go for it. Otherwise, try to avoid this place, especially after the recent inflation in the rent rates there
I visited the complex last Friday and was amazed about how clean, nice and quiet the place is.I came super early because my wife and I will be moving from out of state. Danthony W. showed me a 2br renovated, super friendly and went into every details. we fell in love with the place even though i noticed there were quite a few monthly fees that may jump our monthly expenses but we think it is worth it. i took some time to drive around the neighborhood and even came back at night to get another sense and as Danthony mentioned they have patrol at night and to me security is key. Now i will start the application and lets see how communication with the team goes. Thanks again Danthony.
Horrible place to live. Incompetent office staff. Bugs. Leaks. Parking is terrible. They use towing as a solution and it always ends up being resident cars that get towed. The gate never works. Pool was never open the whole summer. Wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. DO NOT live here.
The New management working really hard .. this apartment used to be dirty when I moved couples years ago.. now its clean and look better .. keep working guys !Can yall please close the gym little late ?? Police always come cut off my workout at 10 pm its too early.. at least 00:00am .. please work on the gym hours
Decent apartments. Had friends who lived there before the stadium went up. The rent now is exorbitant, but what do you expect? More likely than not, you are going to have to rent out their small apartments to 3-4 people to get by. And they have extensions for washer/dryer, but you have to bring/rent your own. Not a great look. But location is really good! And I hear they are getting Google Fiber! Which is great cuz Comcast is more akin to that one nation in WWII with the red flags with the spinny whirlwind symbol. You know, the ones that are the bad guys in Indiana Jones.
I have never seen an executive and excellent marketer like Christopher Buie who made everything for I am and my family to get what we want. You are a super star, you make us feel like we are the real owners of Asford75. Thanks to the management who has concerns for their tenants.
This apartment is so bad. Their behavior is more like a cheater. Never apply, never trust them. My experience is, 1. We see an apartment that we are ready to apply, they said they will give us a call once the unit is available. But one week past, no one connect us. Then this unit gonne. 2. we lost the first opportunity of the fist cheap unit. So, we are trying to apply the second unit. But, once we pay 300 USD, 300 USD!!! application fee!!!, they tell us they need 3x times income. However, we are Georgia Tech student, and they know we are student. In this case, they charge our 300 USD application fee, then say they will not allow us to apply because our short income. Before we pay their money, they treat us as god, but once they get money, their service attitude changed 180 degree, like a trash. And they didnt refund our money. They said, they use that money to do background and credit history check. However, if they really do the background check, they will never deny us, because my FICO score is higher than 770. They are cheater! They are frauding! They get 300 USD without doing anything!
We arrived right before closing and Christopher Buie help us. The gentleman was very helpful and professorial. Even though it was time to close he stayed after to show us town home and a apartment. He explain everything very clearly and we were able to decide right then which apartment we wanted
Its a decent spot, however the people running the place are a bunch of idiots. Your water will be cut off every day, sometimes for days on end. You will not be able to shower after work or conduct basic functions of life. They would rather build a gate and paint hallways so they can charge more for rent rather than invest in plumbing that actually works. They will blame Cobb co water but if you do some research Cobb has the best water service in the state. Therefore they need to invest in plumbing. Dont live here unless you are inured to hardship and willing to suffer. It is a nice place otherwise though.
DO NOT MOVE TO ASHFORD 75 APARTMENTS!I have dealt with this property for over a year and their lack of parking spaces for residents. They will tell you themselves that there is a parking problem and how they are going to create more spaces, but do not inform you that they call a towing service to have residents towed at their own expense if there is nowhere to park when you come home from work at 2am on a Sunday. The towing company they use does not have a phone number online. I literally had to call the police to get an address to their site. Ashford 75 takes away parking spaces in areas that are needed and still continues to tow any resident despite our decals on the cars to prove that we live there. They have also informed me that they were threatened to be sued by the Smyrna Fire Marshall.
I am here visiting my son daughter in law and grandchildren for Thanksgiving. I am planning on moving to Georgia in February. BUT NEVER HERE. This is unhealthy!!!!! They are very clean , however , the ROACHES!!!!!!!!! It is embarrassing and unhealthy!!! This is a violation of the expectation on any lease. We are a family with lawyers. This complex has failed miserably!!!! Than.Ksgiving with uninvited guest. No one should have to pay over $1500 a month , nickeled and dined, new rent payment restrictions which make this company money unfairly enriching themselves and YET there are ROACHES among other deficiencies.
DONT COME HERE THEY TOW CARS FOR NO REASON!!! I was visiting someone who stay here.. I went inside came bk out and they had towed my car... Wow... really?? Its no visitor parking in the back only in the front.. either way.. u shouldnt be towing peoples cars in a apartment complex..Ive never delt with anything like this in all of my life.. now Ive missed 2 days of work because Im waiting on the leasing office to decide if they wanna tell the towing company to give me my car bk!! Yall are really playing with peoples lives. Smh.. but Im sure yall could careless.
Was TERRRRIBLE. they switched the management while i was suppose to move in, i was accepted and approved got there after a 17 hour travel from New york, Once i got there they told me to come back because the apartment wasnt ready, mind you through out this whole time no one was answering the phones, they use to answer the phones ALL day before these new people suck, but anyways i got there then she goes over my file and says it wasnt done right and i will have to do it over again....meanwhile i could had been homeless for that night with all my belongings. that was a sign to not move there. very unprofessional they need ariana back.
Staff is HORRIBLE. Not professional at all. Moved my move in date AND unit plenty times. Cancelled my application without my consent. My bathroom is clogged and maintence has only been once, has not returned to fix any of the problems and it has been over a month. Worst mistake moving in.
I was visiting a family member there for two weeks and it was a girl stay across from my cousin in 501 Lincoln Trace her name was R??? because the guy she was fighting with kept calling her name cause it looked like he was trying to leave with all his belonging and she was out there hollering and screaming at him and cussing with her child standing there. And the next Saturday she was out there fussing and arguing with a girl loud and cussing again. Where was security then. My cousin is trying to find her some place else to live. It was awful. It no place I would want to live with her as a neighbor.. I wonder do the office know this?
So Far So Good !I Went In Yesterday To View A 2bdr After Speaking w/ Ms. Debra Over The Phone. She Was Very Sweet, Answered Every Question & Was Super Informative.During The Visit Chris B COMPLETELY Stole The Show. His Energy Alone Made Me Want To Move In. It’s Very Rare You Meet Ppl Who Show The Love Of Their Job. His Work Ethic & Patience Was Amazing. He Showed Me Several Layouts & Was More Considerate Of My Budget Than I Was. Overall Great Staff & Warm Welcoming Experience
This place is a disaster. The staff are rude and dont follow the rules they set. People park where ever they want. Fire Lanes, Handicap, and no parking zones. The staff seems to not care. There is trash all over the dumbsters because people are to lazy to open the dumbsters and throw away the trash. Then the staffs just leaves it. When they need to turn the water off to a building they do not notify you.
Christopher Buie greeted me with such great customer service. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He kept a smile on his face the whole time and answered all the questions I asked. I will definitely be applying in the future! Chris Buie really makes a difference in this property. This shows you a title does not limit a quality of customers service!
I’ve been living at Ashford 75 since January. For the last month the workout facilities have been closed with no communication as to when they’ll reopen. Additionally, the pool is rarely open and there is also no communication as to when that will reopen. It’s been closed since last week. Why am I paying for services that I cannot even use?
Theses guys are the best of the best. they always on help if needed its like family here. always on time with service request. DJ a great person to talk to while in the office, Aaliyah is always as a there when needed when we 1st come inside(nice hair). Danthony is always ready to help at his desk ready to type something up with a big smile
There are only two reasons why I give this review all five stars instead of one star for each reason.. They are Christopher and Danthony. These two gentleman provide THE BEST turn around when it comes to service out of everyone in the office. They listen well, and CARE about the customers needs. Atleast they make you feel that they do. But thats the whole point, right? I must say, I have been here about a year now and I have had a share of trials and tribulations with Ashford75. Christopher always makes up for it. He REALLY REALLY DOES go the extra mile and so this is to show my appreciation. My mother always told me :if you dont have anything nice to say, then dont say it at all! That being said...I DONT WRITE MANY REVIEWS THESE DAYS. Thanks Chris and Danthony.
Watching my friend go through the process of trying to move in here... they have tried to screw her over multiple times!!! Fees added on later that they don’t tell you about!!! On top of this, you cannot get ahold of management for ANYTHING. Listen to the negative reviews!!! They are here for a reason!! Management SUCKS. If getting in is this freaking hard, I can’t imagine the service you’ll receive once you move in. Just save yourself the time and money and find somewhere else! Not even worth it. Would give ZERO stars if possible. Stop screwing people over!!!
I inquired about a 1br, set up a virtual tour. No one showed up to the meeting and when I let them know I was waiting they were still trying to figure out the platform. They asked if I could reschedule and when I said yes they said they just realized they no longer have any 1brs avail. and would I want a 2br. Sharing my experience because this was a waste of time. I added a star because at least the communication via text was quick.
If I could give less stars I would. I do not live in these apartments but I came from out of town, (3 hours away) in the rain with lots of traffic delays due to wrecks in the middle of Atlanta, to view these apartments had an appointment and because I arrived 8 minutes after my appointment time they would not even show me the apartment and told me to come back tomorrow. The person whom I spoke with at the apartment was extremely rude and dismissive and said that because I had missed my appointment and that it was raining I would have to come back. Needless to say I will not be spending any of my money here.
Here you go, you got an eEmergency maintenance issue, no one would take the accountability, you got payment issues in your account, which happens over and over, no one takes the accountability. They told me there is no SLA over the issues, and they can’t guarantee an ETA for any issues you have. Extremely disappointed and regret moving in here. Do your research before going ahead with these guys.
Atrocious customer service. Expect to be lied to on a regular basis. Staff cannot perform basic requests. If there were less stars I would input that. Bad bad bad management with less than average minded staff members behind it. Have witnessed staff purposefully ignore phone calls while doing nothing in between. Atrocious.
Pros: great location, nice apartment appearance, priced better than the relative competition, but you get what you pay forCons: The staff changed multiple times in our short time at Ashford 75, it was challenging to get in touch with the staff, the staff overall had an apathetic attitude (with the exception of a few great leasing agents: Hakeem, Sonia, and Adam), one of our belongings disappeared after a maintenance call, cock roaches appeared every couple months, we had multiple maintenance issues (plumbing and HVAC problems, mold that they just painted over each time we complained, missing lock on porch door, leaks in the bathroom), our neighbor’s apartment flooded multiple times and the issue wasn’t resolved until they finally moved outBottom line: Though the appearance of the apartment complex is nice, I would be hesitant to live at Ashford 75.
Soon as I pulled up I was greeted by this young handsome Christopher he introduced himself to me as a customer relations I was very impressed on everything he is very knowledgeable on the property not only that he was very excited and professional I will recommend anybody to that young man he was very strategic and very accurate on information concerning the property
This company just move to the complex the complex was originally called Mission Galleria but the pictures are fake the apartment complex are really not that good Plus in Thanksgiving theres always fires theres always a risk of losing your home around Thanksgiving time in Ashford 75 thats it everybody thats my review

2022-06-24Unfortunately, all of the 5 star reviews are lies.. Management is “rewarding” residents who leave a 5 star review with a $50 Visa card. The renovations are cheap and rushed. I’m pretty sure my building is infested. Even though we pay monthly for pest control, I have to call on the exterminator weekly due to all of the pest. If you move here, please understand you are only paying for the great location (go Braves!). Also, the front gate is broken and has not worked for the entire 3+ years that I have lived here. Anytime the complex does try to fix it, the residents damage it again within the same week. I’ve had multiple neighbors destroy the breezeways — leaving trash, throwing eggs, spitting sunflower seeds, and emptying cigarillos. It’s embarrassing when anyone comes to visit my “luxury apartment”. I’ve complained to the management about all of my concerns. I’ve lived in more than 1 unit over the years and many things have not changed for the better. Overall, renewing my lease here is my last resort.

2022-02-24I have been here for about 2 years and have seen a huge positive change in our community since the new management took over. Emma the property manager has always been such a delight to talk with. The location is amazing and the renovations to the inside of my apartment came out amazing. I love it here. Keep up the great work ladies!

2022-02-24When I moved here with my roommate, the air conditioning was broken. So was the kitchen sink drain, the washing machine, and the dishwasher. A couple days ago, they had people come to work on our vents. These workers pulled out our washer/dryer unit and disconnected it and just left it there. Its been there for two days and after consistently calling management and going into the office, nobody has come to fix it. The management here is so bad that it makes me want to buy a house. The maintenance people are cool though. Also I should mention that in order to pay rent, you must use their online portal. When using their website, there is always a $50 - $60 fee. Thats right - you have to pay an extra 50 dollars in order to pay your rent now. The only positive thing about this place is that it is walking distance to the stadium.

2022-04-20I recently moved to The Edison about a month and a half ago and my experience has been nothing short of amazing! I appreciate the staff and the efforts that have been made to ensure that my experience here as a resident is welcoming and also appreciate the proximity the community is to literally EVERYTHING! I also appreciate the steps that have been made to add to the community such as renovations and overall upkeep. Would definitely recommend!

2022-01-13Ive lived here 2 years. Its definitely not the best, but not the worst. I moved here to be close to the Braves stadium. Thats enough for me to overlook some of the issues. A 7 minute walk from my apartment to inside the stadium! Super nice if you go to a lot of games, saves you a ton of money on parking and Uber prices.I split the rent with my girlfriend so it makes living here way cheap, which is another reason why I overlook some of the issues. The building was built in the 70s so you will deal with pests from time to time, creaky floors for you and your downstairs neighbor. Maintenance requests do take some time, but generally they fix problems within the week. Ive only had 1 emergency request and it was fixed the next day. I typically email in when I have a maintenance issue, I dont use the website.Parking was a pain sometimes until I decided to pay for a spot. I didnt really want to pay for a spot but all the spots near my building were getting reserved so I felt I had to if I wanted to park close. My work schedule is always changing so if you dont reserve a spot and you get off work after midnight, you typically wont have a spot in front of your building. I bought a 50$ keycard for the gates they never close lol I dont know the deal about that but dont really care to ask.The property has an Amazon Hub locker so all your packages that will fit usually go into the locker, which is really nice. The only time they come to your door is if you order something large or if the lockers are full, which will happen from time to time.Ive never used the Pool here, it looks nice, its just not entirely big so its easy for one or two groups of residents to take over the entire area. All in all I would recommend this place if you want to be close to this area and not pay a lot in rent. Also if you are thicker skin and dont let some issues get to you. Its not the best, but not the worst either.

2022-07-13Ive been living in The Edison a total of 6 years. The people are friendly and there arent issues with noise or bugs. They have done renovations to some apartment buildings....not quite sure about all. The pool area and grill areas are kept up nicely and they do residence events once a month. Its the perfect place to live because youre close to the Battery, Vinings, and the highway!

2022-03-05A few months ago I asked for pest control to come and take care of a gnat problem and spray for roaches. They came out and told us to empty our entire kitchen by Wednesday of the following week. We did this but they never came.I complained to office staff as I was upset with all that work and an unusable kitchen for them to not show.Shay took my request and had them there the very next day after we were initially told it would take another week.I really appreciated the response from Shay. She made sure they came out immediately rectifying the initial mistake.

2022-07-01Lived there 5 years . Constantly new management and staff every few months . Never Answers the phone . Maintenance issues have to be called in 5 times . Often will close work orders with out ever coming out . Violates contract often and will steal try and evict you for them not keeping their word. Parking is terrible . Will tow car even though you live there over the people parking to go to the game . Then trys to make you pay for parking next to your own building.

2022-04-22I just had to share my review and let you know about the WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE I had when I stopped by the office a couple of days ago. I had the pleasure to meet our community manager Mrs. Neree and she was such a TRUE DELIGHT!!!! I was very surprised to know that the manager was ready and available to assist me with all my concerns and to share all the great things in store for the residents. Looks like I made the RIGHT MOVE !!! ❤ 🙂

2022-03-04The Assistant Property manager is VERY RUDE.... I called this place to get information about a unit and was meet with nastiness. she was rude told me that since I made a mistake in a email and she cant help me I wasted my money. I asked for the manager and in a sarcastic tone she says oh shes not here and wont be here for a while. I asked can she leave her a message to call me she then says oh ill try if I see her unprofessional and this is maybe why you have so many vacant units. the assistant manager needs training. the complex needs help answering phones !!!!! and the complex manager needs to be more aware of what shes managing.
