Store is always clean & the staff is pretty pleasant. Free sample coffee. Wraps & sandwiches made daily. I go here to get my wraps and sandwiches for lunch then go to the front of the store to eat. Great deals!

I love it here always a variety of fresh healthy food.I even found some German drinks I use to drink when I was in Germany .They have a great bakery,a nice meat and seafood selection.There all kinds of herbs and fresh veges. Also they have a great wine selection as well.Its festive and colorful. My grandson loves the candy aisle. I like comparing prices and although shop also at Walmart I figure if youre looking to spend on quality food you may as well go to the fresh market the price difference isnt a lot different and at the fresh market its better health wise in my opinion.Lets face it although you may think youre saving at stores u go in and 5 items cost you more so why not just go where youll get the better products for your money. I & my family really enjoy shopping at the fresh market.
The Food Market deserves a better name than this because it is PHENOMENAL!!! I have been here many times with my mother and she always plagues me with the question, what do you want to eat?. Fortunately, I always know the answer to that question. FRESH MARKET!!! I CAN NEVER THINK OF ANYTHING BETTER! I literally do not care if I feel like cooking because it always puts me in the mood. I can go in this store not knowing what I want or even if I feel like cooking but I can either have it already prepared or it creates the list for me. From its fresh ingredients, aromatic smells, decadent dessert tables,amazing helpful staff, or what have you...you can always find what you want and or need in Fresh Market and never leave there feeling like you dont know what youve missed or forgotten because everything is complete! My favorite is the Chicken Salad and the croissant rolls especially when Im in a pinch and I know I need a quick filling amazing meal. I know I am going to feel great, powerful,full, satisfied, and oh so happy. Whoever and whatever came up with this wonderful store ...oh thank heavens because you are amazing! You all have to go out and just have a look around and have to get something. From the sweet fresh fruit, to the sliced good meat, the baked desserts and breads ,the groceries , the jolly staff, the clean store, heck yes its the best! You have to go to the best of the best because the Market of Markets its Fresh!!!🥰
The Fresh Market definitely has some pretty amazing food. I find myself traveling to Columbus JUST to go there!
Wow thoroughly disappointed with customer service. I only called to see if you had a certain coffee brand. Instead of having me wait damn near 40 minutes you could have simply said no don’t call hear. Waiting 40 minutes means I’m slow. But I got it.
Weve been going to Fresh Market since they opened in Columbus, GA. Their coffee and apple strudel are wonderful. The roasted chicken salad and croissants with fruit is always a hit with us.
The possibilities for the palate are endless. An outstanding gathering of employees willing to do whatever necessary for the answer to be YES.
You can get specialty grocery items here you cant get anywhere else. Little pricey. Make sure to go on Tuesdays for high quality chicken and ground beef for under $4 a pound

Although, some items are expensive, their quality is the best. My favorite is the produce, bakery goods, deli, and the $12.99 Tuesday/Sunday chicken dinner is the best. It is a great deal for my family when we dont have the time to cook.
Bought blueberry and lilies and some more. Among the items I bought, I couldn’t find price tags for the both items and I assumed somewhat close to nearby similar items. Wrong !! Checked the price later at home (you could not see the price at register). They were almost same quality but twice as much compared with area groceries. My fault. Never assume the price. They’ll get you. Maybe Mistakes or bad practice. 3 is F.
This place is always in tip top shape and the staff is amazing. They are a little pricey but have the prettiest meat and seafood you will ever see. They also carry a wide variety of hard to find speciality items. Shelves are always well stocked and store is squeaky clean. Masks are required for shoppers and employees
I absolutely love The Fresh Market. They have such a variety of items to choose from. Many of the items cant be gotten from other stores around here. Their fresh fruits and vegetables are really nice. The workers at Fresh Market are very helpful and know what theyre talking about if you have any questions. If youve never been in the Fresh Market you really need to try it out, you will love it.
The name speaks for itself. However, prices can be unreasonable for certain items.Ex: The price for a big bowl of fruit gradually went from 14.99 to 17.99 to 22.99, approximately. Im not looking for a deal, but the price has changed 3 times since Ive been shopping here. I am simply giving an honest review. I love this place, but everyone cant afford to shop here with regular, everyday prices.
I love the food available in the store. BUT no one will ever answer the phone......at least not the 4 times I’ve tried to call in the last two days. I ordered a cheesecake to pick up in the store. Had the email confirmation but had to Login to pick it up. But the app wouldn’t log me in because I had to prove I wasn’t a computer but there was NO way to do that on the screen! Couldn’t get the cheesecake I ordered for the birthday party tonight. 😡
I love Fresh Market. We can always find breads of all types. And there meats are second to none. They are a little pricey but they really top notch. Not many places you can get a meal for four with the meat, Veggies, rolls and dessert for $20.00.
My daughter loves to shop this Fresh Market and now has me hooked also!!! This great grocery store carries organically grown produce, has many unusual unique meats, veggies, breads, spices, etc. Check this store out!!! This is definitely a store out to impress ALL WHO ENTER so that they WILL be back!!! You wont be disappointed! Promise.
This place is a gem. I love to buy the weekly specials. Everything is has been done and all you have to do is cook and eat. Love this place.
I always love fresh market. Somehow we have become the local raw celebs as another customer had said as an employee spoke to us before shift...we love sharing positive love and vibes..and no better way to vibe high than to grab some organic fruits and the occasional beets to juice...
The Fresh Market is just a great shopping experience. They have so much yummy going on between the variety of items/brands they carry and their own take-home food that they cook/bake etc. I bought two wonderful main course salads, rosemary sea salt bread, a slice of cheesecake and a bottle of mango wine. The food was all fresh and delicious. I will be shopping here so much more after this great trip.
Fresh Market has an array of many different cuts of meat that you may not find in other stores.If nothing else, go into the store and just browse around it.OH, BY THE WAY GO GRAB A SMALL CUP OF COFFEE WHILE WALKING AROUND. This is a little taster cup. No cost. The regular size cups you pay for.

Top quality meats and produce. Wonderful deli, almost anything you want from the cheeses and meats to complete meals. Top notch bakery. Wonderful selection of beer and wine, coffees, candy, and a wide range of imported groceries. You can spend hours looking at and tasting samples.
The Facility is always very clean. The staff are very knowledgeable and courteous. The Produce, Meats, seafood, and Deli are top notch and very fresh. The bakery is exquisitely superb! If you are looking for hard to find spices from around the world, healthy snacks, wines, and cheese. This is probably one of the best places to go in Columbus.
I buy a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving and Resurrection Sunday. With Earth Fare closing, I didnt know where to go but Fresh Market supplied exactly what I wanted and, even though I have to go to Columbus instead of Auburn, it was well worth it. It was perfect!
There is always something good to buy. I bought brownie pillow cookies and heavens mercy. They were delicious. Im so glad I put them in the back of my car and not up front otherwise my family may have never got the joy of tasting them and raving about how good they were.
In the beginning I did love this store. When they opened we shopped there religiously and we still shop there so many times a week. The only problem I have is that the things we like continue to be discontinued. Sometimes things are there but dont get put out until you ask. With that being said I love the people, but most of them are gone and have been replaced by a new front staff. Management has changed quite a bit over the years theyve been open too. I do think the quality of their produce and meat department is awesome!
I love their pecan crusted chicken, chicken salad plates, their bakery. The quality is impeccable. People say they are privy, but to me, no more expensive than publixI love this store, from the deli to the meat dept to the loaves of bread and homemade honey roasted peanut butter, you cannot go wrong.
So disappointed. We ordered a Thanksgiving meal for 4-5 people and we will be lucky if it feeds three of us. I can’t even see what was supposed to come in our meal because online is no longer displaying their Thanksgiving menu. I swear it was supposed to come with rolls but we didn’t receive any. It says it serves 4-5 people but the Turkey is under 3 pounds...we will have to order food to go from another restaurant to feed everyone. Also because I can no longer view the menu online I don’t even know what everything we got is so it is hard to follow the baking instructions.
First time going in this place. It was by no means what I was expecting. Im not entirely sure how anyone could afford to buy food from here because the prices are insane on everything. Im guessing its more of a status grocery store than anything else. Everything looks nice and everything is clean and theres barely a mainstream name brand in sight but its all so expensive. If normal people like me could afford it Id give it five stars. But I just dont see how anyone could pay these prices. Coffee beans 11.99 for a pound. I saw a $17 bottle of vinegar. $9 for a four pack of curiosity cola which I can never find anywhere.

Fresh!fresh!fresh! We go here with things on our list but end up getting more. The fish is to die for especially the cod bogo. Fresh brie cheese pastry with a preserve of your choice. Sushi is fresh. We love the olive and artichoke mix. A little pricey but so freakin good. Love fresh herb plants. Great place to rake up after all holidays. You pay fir what you get.
This Fresh Market is one of my favorites. The staff is very friendly and will help you find whatever you are looking for. I love the sushi that they provide as well. It’s very very fresh and they make sushi burritos so that’s definitely something you need to try next time you visit this location.
Just walking in this store is a pleasurable experience. The smell of brewed gormet coffee, fresh produce, and yummy baked goods fills the air along with the sound of classical music. The stores lighting is comparable to what you would find in a fine restaurant. It seems the stores mission is to provide the customer with a totally pleasurable and relaxing shopping experience. If youre looking for hard to find specialty items The Fresh Market is the place to start.
Fresh market has a great ambiance. It really doesnt offer much different foods to me. I love their fresh sushi, fresh chicken and the kids like the muffins. Everything else is overpriced but worth going in every now and then.
Best place in the UNIVERSE to shop. Anything you need to prepare a fabulous meal youll find it there. They also have the most AMAZING Desserts🎂, Produce🥦, Steaks 🥩, Sushi 🍣 & Wine selection🍷
Whats not to love with Fresh Market? The store is always clean, the displays are beautiful, and the food is always high quality. It is a bit more expensive than a conventional grocery store, and doesnt have quite the variety. However, it is a great place to find specialty items and ingredients.
This is a great place!! A foodies dream come true! The pricing, location and the clientele made me feel a little out of my element so I subtracted a star. But other than that, I thought coming here and discovering new items was fun. I was very satisfied with the items I purchased today.
I love the produce here. Excellent variety and always fresh. The little big meal is awesome and quite the money saver. If you like cheese, fresh market is great for you. The meat department is the best in town!
I absolutely adore this place- the staff is typically very kind, the place is clean, and they have a great variety. However Ive noticed that whenever I buy grapes, theyre molded by the next day. I dont know whats causing this, but I hate wasting my money on things that go bad by the next day, especially with how expensive this store is.
I used to love shopping here when it first opened but now it has changed so much. Customer service is almost robotic and the most unfriendly place and unwelcoming. The store does have a wide variety of items. Produce is always fresh and the meat and deli department are spot on but something has changed and it seems like the employees dont care about the customers any more...
A great store with good atmosphere. This place feels comfortable to shop in which makes it appealing. They have a pretty good selection of foods however I do feel that the store could be larger. The staff is quite friendly and are helpful when you are trying to find items. Recommend!
I LOVE shopping at The Fresh Market! All the items are truly FRESH and the staff is friendly. Today I sampled their ready made sides..loaded potato salad topped bacon bits and shredded cheese and their broccoli and pear salad (sorry I did not take a pic) but both were delish. We decided to buy potato salad. The other dish was just as delish be we only wanted one side!
Really nice store! Product was fresh and looked really good! Better grocery choices than Walmart. They have an area where you can buy nuts and candies by the pound so you can get just the right amount. Bakery area had lots of fresh looking choices and what I bought tasted fresh and was awesome. Friendly staff and clean store.I would visit again.

My first time in the store and was greeted by friendly staff, especial the two charming ladies in the deli. They suggested the chicken salad and things would pair well with it. I will definitely be coming back.
Very disappointed. I purchased some chicken on Friday and put it in my refrigerator. On Sunday when I went to cook it, I opened the package and it was bad, with a foul odor. The package was marked good through July 30, and this was July 29. Unfortunately, this was the second time I have purchased bad meat from this location. The last time, was hamburger meat, and I tried to prepare it the day I purchased it. I guess I will need to find a different store. I do not want to waste any more money or to get sick.

The perfect store for all of your healthy eating needs, and some not so healthy needs as well! You only have to be aware of the pries on some items of course, after all it is Fresh Market and nothing is cheep! They have Fountain City Coffee in whole bean, an olive bar and a great selection of meats. Personally I like to get the roasted turkey breast and cut them up for sandwich meat. What I also like about the market is that it always makes me think of new foods and new food prep ideas.
Nice place, clean store and very easy for shopping. Reminds me of some stores back home in California. Little on the pricey side... turned off by the rudeness of employees... asked for help in finding some items and the staff... well seemed annoyed or that i was bothering them asking for help, like I was asking for them to go out of their way to just punt me in the right direction. Sad cuz its a really nice place... shame employees can ruin a first timers experience.
This place is amazing dont take your kids. Its like the love child of Hollister and Publix in here man. It feels exclusive somehow but still has that dumb southern vibe you cant help but feel at home in. Its just nice and I always find something interesting in there. Like rich people milk. Do you KNOW how many kinds of milk there are? Why would you need half of them here though? Most everybodys lactose intolerant amiright?
I was just at work at Panasonic and a coworker gave me chocolate chip cookies from the fresh market and I have to say they were really fresh thats all I have on it

I love this store, fresh veggies, fruit, gourmet items and love the beer selection. However, the prices are a bit steep. The only complaint I have is the deli, most of the items are really good, I love the baked chicken salad but the baked meats like the wings and ribs tend to look like they are suffering needlessly under the heat lamp. If they could find a way to keep that section from drying out that would help. The bakery and meat department staff are so friendly and know their stuff. I appreciate that Fresh Market sells meat without antibiotics, hormones etc...I also prefer their bakery goods to Publixs. My absolute favorites: their chocolate cupcakes and croissants are to die for. The only other place Ive ever had great croissants was in London last May.
Love the store, can browse for an hour easily. Pre ordered food for Christmas dinner... standing rib roast, ham, shrimp, rolls; a little disappointed that I had to wait for them to get it ready when the order form specified pickup time, however the food ended up being fantastic, especially the rib roast. Will use again for sure.

This is grocery shopping heaven! I can find all my harder to find ingredients. The employees are wonderful. The piped classical music puts me in a lovely headspace as I float along taking in all the beauty of this market. Reminds me of shopping while living in Europe.My Husband hates it when I go in here because I have to look at everything! On the flip side he loves it because he knows I always stop at the bakery and pick him up some decadent treat. Nice wine selection, great florals, and meal deals that are extremely pleasing. Love this place!

The prices are super high I am from Atlanta and am use to shopping at places like Krogers,international gamers market and wholes foods for my healthy food needs and just from comparing these price are yikes. Some items are worth it but at this rate Id rather travel to Atlanta once a month for what I need. Over all they have a great selection.

My wife purchased 2 porter house steaks, they were closer to t bones. I called spoke with Jason the manager. He told me come in we will get you sum porter house steaks and they did but He never apologized for the mix up! It was almost like he was mad i knew the difference. Makes me wonder how many t bones they sale as porter house! Buyer beware!!!
Always friendly. Pricing mostly good for products carried that you cant find other places. But for things you could find at Publix, they are more expensive. Still really like to shop here especially sales, Tues chuck and chicken sale and weekly meal deal.

Im really trying to like this place, and before you go type cast me as a one timer check my emailed receipt log, but its impossible. Im notcrying about the prices because truly the market is cornered in this God forsaken town and anything that seemed hip 20 years ago is just over priced here. The last 3 visits I have gone to the prepared food section and gotten blown off because the people are not keeping up with the demands. If you are out of wings on a regular basis...then make more freaking wings, I shouldnt desire to try the cheeses and be told the cheese lady quit so...sorry but you must spend $8 on 4 ounces....good luck. The only reason I put 2 stars is because their one husky black dude in the meat department, forgive me for the description, is always quick with my order and knows the product. The order Caucasian gentleman in the deli...he is rude and unwilling to go beyond. Im disappointed in the effort that my money brings to this place and am strongly considering taking another route. I just tried to call because they said itll be 30 minutes for New wings and guess what...it just rang and rang...Mess Market is what this is here, hurry up and get a Whole Foods, they are cheaper and they would never let their standards slip like this.

There Italian sausages were on sell for $3.99 a pound, $2 off. A pretty good deal. The only problem, the sausages are overstuffed so it goes way over. For 3 sausages I would have to pay almost $5.30. This has become a habit of many grocery stores. They make it hard to get just a pound.
All I needed was some info about steak so I called the meat department the first time the lady stated shed get someone to answer my questions and I sat there for 5 minutes and nobody came to the phone so I hung up and called back a second time. The second time someone picked up the phone but nobody addressed me they yelled at someone in the back ground but nobody said hey or how may I help you and I said hello over and over again and nobody answered me. I like what the Fresh Market sells but as far as customer service is concerned its not their main priority.
My mom and I love The Fresh Market! The food and atmosphere is great. I tried their unagi and it was so delicious! I plan on buying more sushi and food from there but unfortunately I dont get to go there often.
This market transports you to another place and time. The beauty of the store matches the quality of the fresh, unique offerings - and the customer service was beyond fantastic! It may be a 30+ minute drive, but I will be back!
Ok so first off I shop here ALL the time, mainly because theres not really any competitors in the area. With that being said, its kinda more like The Fraud Market. The whole entire bakery is stocked with pre frozen deserts baked god knows where. Most of their products unless specifically marked otherwise are gmo. And they have a very poor selection of organic fruits and vegetables. They do not carry any selection of shampoo, lotions, vitamins. And the chicken I bought on special was very gross.They carry a lot of Monsanto products and over price. The staff however has always been very nice, helpful and honest. In a store like this we shouldnt have to question the quality or integrity of the food. Not at these prices.
Fresh market is my favorite store! Everything is clean and beautiful, well stocked and they have unique items they dont have elsewhere and everything is fresh and the employees are friendly and fantastic!

Guys, let me tell you how heart broken I am. The “FRESH” market had the nerve to sell me expired almonds. I kept thinking to myself, dang I haven’t had these in a while and they taste weird. Come to find out the label says; Sell By: 9/30/2019. Today is 12/10/2019. How disgusting. Be careful what you call “FRESH” Columbus, GA should be ashamed.

They are a little pricy, but you get what you pay for. Always a clean store with friendly staff and a good different selection on food. Tuesdays are 2.99 a pound chicken and hamburger, I love that!

At check out i was asked if i wanted the 9 dollar almonds i had bought out of the bag. I told the cashier that i wanted them in the bag with the other items. When i got home, everything was in the bag except those almonds. I called the store and politely asked if any cashiers had reported that almonds had been left at checkout. The person i spoke to said hold on, ill ask and the phone was promptly hung up. I shouldnt be so irritated over this, maybe its a sign that i shouldnt go back to this over priced store.
Great store. I love shopping here. They filled a request for Juan Canary melons that I absolutely love. Ill probably buy them all! Great products, staff, and atmosphere.
Its a good place when you want a little bit more calm and cozy feeling in your grocery trip, however, you pay for it in price (that probably goes without saying, but I thought its something I would mention).We are two graduate students, so our grocery trips do not include shopping here for basic groceries, this is more of a specialty store for us - we sometimes get bulk coffee beans here, a desert or a wine, but not the major things.
The precooked meats are often dry but the seafood and raw meats are fresh and done well.

The newer management team is very snarky. I inquired about something and they were very rude. Used to love this place. Hopefully they can get some new people that dont have attitudes and give dirty looks. Or possibly train them a little better on customer service. As far as the rest of their staff they are wonderful.
When this store first opened it was my favorite place to shop in Columbus,GA. Since that time however, the store has gone through several management changes and a noticeable decline in both quality of product and customer service. Both the produce and the meat departments frequently have food that is no longer fresh. I have come home with spoiled pork and spoiled fish. Theres also a big problem with lines. At the meat/fish counter they refuse to use the number system so customers can be helped in order. And lines are allowed to get out of control at the checkout before opening new lines. Theres really no excuse for a high end grocery store to have all of these issues. Its a very poorly managed store.

A lot of unique items you cant get anywhere else, but youll pay a premium for the privilege. Easily one of the best grocery stores if youre looking to broaden your culinary horizons.

The employees were awesome I was there with my aunt that I hadnt seen in 25 years so we stood and talked and shopped and sampled..... It was a great experience all around.

Excellent Quality. Its pricey when compared to the big chain stores nearby, but you you get what you pay for. Really love how fresh the fruits look, unlike the cheap, moldy, and bruised fruit of other places.

2021-11-03Fresh Market has some of the best food options no matter what your looking for. Very fresh produce and fresh flowers if your looking to pick up a quick bouquet! They are one of the only places I can find a wide variety of Lilys chocolate which is a staple in my home! If u love chocolate but dont want all the carbs and calories but still get amazing taste, this is it!! Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because it is pricey to shop here.

2022-01-26Thought this would be a good place to buy quality meat, unfortunately that is not the case. Bought two steaks, went sour the next day. Bought a Pork shoulder, got home, went to put it in the crock pot SOUR. Very disappointed. The pork shoulder was only 10$ but the steaks were close to$30. They need to be dating when they put the butchered meat in the glass case and they need to smell their products. We have bought pork chops from them which were fine. But two times in a row buying sour meat is not okay.

2022-04-18I was disappointed in the customer service here. I was waiting at the fish/meat counter for awhile and no one acknowledged me, until finally someone came up and was very dismissive while getting my fish. The cashiers were fast but the way they bagged was horrible. They put raw chicken in a bag with my other products, including desserts, and the chicken juice leaked all over the other products! But they put a package of sealed plantain chips in its own separate bag… makes no sense. I had to clean a bunch of products and my floors that got raw chicken juice on it. Absolutely no care taken. I would give it one star, but it gets too because one young man working there was attentive, the selection of food was high quality, and it seemed clean.

2019-11-02This is one of the best places to grocery shop in Columbus Ga. Yeah...its a little pricey but the quality that you get is well worth the price. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. One of the best things about this place is the atmosphere. They have classical music playing in the background and the entire store is set up like you are shopping outdoors at a fresh market during the night time. I will continue coming back here.

2019-08-21The moment you walk in, you know youre in a different grocery store. Everything is beautiful. The produce department, meat dept, cheese display, bins of coffee beans, coffee bar, sushi, wine... this place is awesome!!! I spoke with the staff, they were friendly and helpful. 2020-01-07Prices can be a bit high, but much of this food you cannot get anywhere else in Columbus (hemp patties, haloumi cheese). Excellent produce, deli, and meat section. The selection of natural foods is ok, the bakery is small but very good. There is a large candy and snack section, great selection of cheeses as well. “Largish” collection of microbrews as well. Fresh flowers also available.

2022-03-15Bought some chicken wings Monday for my lunch for Tuesday. Got home and figured it was me. Today ( Tuesday) I warmed them up for 30 seconds dry as hell ! Monday was bad but the next day Tuesday TODAY is worse even the sushi taste stale.. I wont be going bk , unless its to make MY OWN trail mix.. garbage can ready
