Spent over 1800.00 to get my car fixed then a week a later still had the same issue that I originally took it in for. Its goin on 3 weeks they still looking for a part. They havent even been calling me to keep me updated. I have been calling them to see what the heck goin on with my car!!!!!! I wouldnt recommend them to fix a bike😡😡
They do an excellent job and make sure its done right and give you their honest opinion on the repair. The only place I take my vehicles to now.

Fast, friendly service. Parts are a little pricey, but I would recommend their service.
They fixed my alternator and tried to charge me more than what was originally agreed on. The owner accommodated but the shop bent my key. Tried to say my ignition switch went out but I had to get a whole new key. And my key was working fine before I left it in their hands. Brandon is nice, honest and direct. But the other guy makes me not want to ever do business with them again!
I left work this 🌅 arrived at The Garage at 8:30 am for a motor to be puy on yhe passenger rear door.. The guy stated it would take about a hour and a half. He blantantly lied, six hours later still here. I was told the guy has twenty years of experience. Well he must have been absent on the day of training for fixing or replacing a door lock motor. I was told the procedure will take a additional hour to complete!!!!!!!!! What type of ppl does this!!!!!!!! The owner or nobody offered to appease me or touch base on the time frame which exceeded the time I was told to complete the task... I will not come back here!!! I am a essential worker and definitely wont refer any coworkers to come here for service!!! The mentality appears to be they dont care about certain ppl, I am spending my money here like anybody else..... Truly dissatisfied bringing my car here!!!!!!!!!!!
Unethical business. I love leaving reviews to support businesses & rarely leave poor reviews. But I’ve never had a company of any kind call me, give me an estimate, and not include the tax so I’m surprised with an extra $100 when I go to pick up my car. And then I see a 30 min job took an hour and a half, then I’m real annoyed. I’ve never felt so taken advantage of by a place. Wish they would have told me the actual cost because then my husband could have done it for cheaper and faster. Let them work on it because, with the diagnostic fee, thought it was only going to be about $40 difference. Ended up being almost $150 difference. Never again. I honestly don’t get how a company doesn’t include the amount something costs with tax.
I went to this shop to have an exhaust manifold gasket put on the passenger side of my vehicle. The mechanic called me and stated hat he had broken 6 of the 8 bolts holding it to the engine. He then said that I would be responsible for the labor to extract the broken bolts! Not my fault. You broke them, you should fix them. See you guys in court!
This is for Mr. Steveo and hope his supervisors see this. But y’all have a great guy here he’s very kind and awesome person to talk too and very intelligent and knows what he’s doing . I dont think these guys are REAL mechanics. I dont even want to give them 1 star. Called them about a steering problem on my diesel truck and specifically asked if it could be fixed the same day, was reassured it would be. 13 days later my truck was ready. The first diagnosis was hydroboost, second was steering pump, all said and done it was the steering gear box and pump. Not really a big deal because they had to wait for parts. They never called to update me on the status, I called everyday. The steering wheel is loose now so Ill have to take care of that now. Also, while waiting outside the first day, I watched a guy try to replace an exhaust pipe on another truck, he must have cut it 5 times to get it to fit, I also listened to another employee say he forgot to do an oil change after someone brought their car back, this place is a circus. Sit outside on their bench, trust me, youll be entertained.
RUN, Please go elsewhere... you will be thankful! Dropped my vehicle off at 10am and was given a diagnosis. (Just need brake pads), 2 hours later received a called stating I needed rotors..ok... then around 430ish received a called stating my caliber was frozen And they had to break it off and that it would cost around $458 plus tax...... and they wouldn’t have the part until tomorrow. Note: I was just in town for the day and stayed 3hours away!!!! i was stranded!!!!! The old grey head manager at the counter and his son was very RUDE over the phone !! Stating it wasn’t there problem and That they don’t make the parts for cars; and that if I found the parts at the auto store they still wouldn’t be able to put it on today because they closed at 6pm! And its a 5 hour job!! Lies they tell... But long story short... after calling threatening them I wasn’t gonna pay them and was having a tow trunk to come get my car.....Ryan saved the day and some other guy who stayed late to put the less than 30mins part on! Overall I’m never coming back, unless Ryan runs the place.... he has great customer service skills! the manage and his son can use a few tips!!!
Today could have been a terrible day. My work vehicle broke down, and they were able to fit me into their busy day. I was in and out and ready to go back to work in about an hour. They were super friendly and understanding about important getting back on the road is.
Do good mechanic work, but will not honor mistakes if incurred, would rather lie to you and and charge you again instead of honoring and acknowledging mistakes made. Spent over 2,000 dollars with them and I’m still having the same issues with the exact parts. These guys are legal scammers

I dropped my car off for a diagnostic, I came back to pick up my car it was ramshacked, items were stolen out my car, and the manager of the business showed no time of remorse for the service and care that he provided for my vehicle during the time that he had it. I would not recommend anyone come to this shop!
This is my only go to place to get my ride fixed they fix the issue the first time around... And they are fast dont take all day and they let u know the price up front before doing anything and they will work with u... I love this place...

They are a rip-off. What we paid and time spent they finally came up with a conclusion on what they thought was going on with my car🤬 that didn’t have anything to do with what we originally took it in for. When asked about our original problem they said Oh well I didn’t know you was having that issue. I will personally take a look.....umm no thank you. Please spend your money some where else that might really tell you the truth.
One star is being generous. I have not used the garage but the trucking side is a complete joke. Nobody knows what they are doing. The dispatcher is an emotionally unstable woman child and the mechanic is a know nothing little man child. The owner keeps the driver out on the road in a truck that breaks down and then says that he runs his company Monday through Friday 7:30 am till 7:30 pm. That is not how you run a trucking company! And he takes the drivers last check and refuses to give it to them. Does not take out taxes so there should not be any deductions as he likes to call it.
I went to them to replace my starter & ignition switch. A week later I decided to drive my car on the highway & as I was driving my car I noticed the smoke was coming from the front of the hood and it was making crazy noises so I stop the car on the side of the highway and my boyfriend check under the hood and noticed something was disconnected something did not seem right and did not look like it was put on correctly I just feel like they did something wrong to my car because I never had a problem with my motor until I left them a week ago I’m so frustrated because now I have to figure out whether or not to get a new car or to pay for a brand new motor.
My headlights quit working after a crash and even though they fixed them once and they burned back out they quickly fixed them again as soon as i got the car back up to the shop. Great customer service and understanding techs.
Absolutely the worst mechanic shop in the Augusta area! If its not broken they will break it! Had to hire a lawyer after they wanted $5300 for making a problem worse! Still had to give them $2500 to get my truck back. Do not trust these people!!! Biggest scam artists in the Augusta area!!!!!

Lexus and Toyota shops charge very high. Decided to do the 120,000 mile service at the Garage On Gordon Highway. The owner, a polite gentleman went over the details of repairs and maintenance with me and provided me with his personal advice and let me decide what to do. I had done my homework before going there and he was right on the mark. The service was done the same day. I appreciate the expert knowledge of their shop and their two-year warranty on their service. I forgot to add that their price was almost about 40% lower than Lexus and Toyota shops.
Was displeased. I wouldnt go there again, nor recommend anybody else too.Did not fix what was wrong on my vehicle, made excuses, shifted blame on previous mechanics, gouged prices,didnt honor work warranty or words. Typical shade tree crooks. Spent more time trying to find something wrong, to exaggerate the price ratherthan reaching a reasonable solution.

Place is rip-off, told them that I needed a tire plugged and that my back tires was leaking, once I told them that I wasn’t going to get new tires from they charged me $50 for the inspection instead of telling me up front it was going to be a inspection price. Never again do better next time

In the beginning i thought this was a great place but my husband continued to have to take his vehicle back and thats fine after all it was still under warranty but this last time they busted a tire that was brand new put his used one on and didnt even tell him well when he had to apply air because of leak before making it home he contacts the owner that says he was told they changed it but not sure why and he would replace the tire and now wants to charge an additional 100 for something they messed up all i can say is god dont like ugly and word to mouth goes along way the only reason i put a star is because it dont offer half a star have a blessed day.

4 stars is because the tech didnt plug all my parts bAck up and I had to pay to get my c.e.l cleared and turned off but the job did get completed

I spent over 1200 here to get my fix with no results car came back with oil leak that they post had to fix tried taken it back cause the car still was smoking on left hand side of the engine but the car lost power so had to get it towed back there they told me my engine knocking 3900 to fix it said I come get it Monday so today Tuesday I came to pick up my car it was not there had it in some scarp yard by 15 street and MLK with back motor writing on my window please be careful they really was bout use my car for parts I got pictures or sell it be careful my lawyer will be calling

I purchase my own oil and filter and bring it to them to do the oil change, and they are the greatest. They just charge me the service fee and thats it. Very friendly and helpful.

Additionally I do believe I read there is a warranty on the work they performed! I will and DO recommend these guys to anyone!!! Thank you Ryan and everyone else for making this a very good experience!!!These guys are truly the BEST!!! I could not have been happier with their service, both customer and vehicle!!! They got my vehicle in promptly, they did the repair just as I asked without trying to pressure me for more, in fact I requested an estimate for more repairs and they won the bid instantly! I will be returning tomorrow for that service. Ryan was very respectful and considerate and most of all honest! What more could I ask for? Oh yeah the repairs done properly and they were!!! Thank you!!!! I recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!!!!

2022-08-04Will misdiagnose tf out your. They gave my car back with the same problem. They fix stuff that doesn’t need to be fixed. They did fuel pump, alternator, battery, and my brakes. Whoever did my brakes did not do them correctly. As I was driving router/ brake pad broke and fell off and caused be to spin out. Listen to the reviews and keep your car away from here. 2 months after they did the brakes.

2021-06-30Took my car to the shop to get my Catalytic converters put on and ask him when he put them on can I get the old ones back because I paid for them so he said yes when I came back to get my truck and he told me it was done he said he had to look around because he had lost my catalytic converters so the owner is trying to make do with since his son messed this up and tell me he would give me my money for them but the only way I could tell how much my converters are would be to have the converters in my hand since I cant have them in my hand I dont know how much they would be and why my truck was there it was broken into and they messed up my back door the trunk door and had everything in my car strolled all around because they say they dont lock the doors when theyre out there what kind of mess is that still trying to figure out what to do about them avoid this place if you cant help it if you can get your stuff fixed in a day they good but other than that I wouldnt take it to them Im so sad took advantage of me because I am a woman I think

2021-10-19I will tell you that this shop will literally attempt to sell you many items you do not need at all. I went to this shop and was told I needed a head gasket, a water pump, a thermostat, a new radiator, ignition coils and spark plugs and brakes. The total came up to 1500 dollars. I took my car to another shop, they told me I only needed spark plugs and ignition coils and a more efficient top for my radiator. They completely fixed my car and charged me only 213 dollars for parts and labor included and express oil on Riverwatch. They also said I was far from needing brakes!! This speaks for itself!Do not go to the garage on Gordon highway. They will sell you 100 things you do not need and quadruple charge you on the labor, only to barely fix your problem and fix other things that never needed fixing in the first place. They’re a complete and total rip off, do not go to this place unless you want to spend a lot more money and to get ripped off as well.

2021-11-01I have been coming to The Garage on Gordon HWY since they opened. While the owner has a unique sense of humor that can take a minute to get used to, you wont find a more honest and sincere person. Most (if not all) of his family has been involved at one point or another and they are wonderful people to know. He has excellent technicians and mechanics working for him now. Unfortunately, he does get someone less than competent/professional at times.Excellent place to take care of your vehicle(s).

2021-12-14Buyer BEWARE. My husband took our vehicle to get repaired. He was quoted a price and the owner charged more. When my husband questioned the change in numbers the owner moved the same charge to a different item when the repairs were allegedly made. Again, this was questioned. The repairs were not done correctly, so he took the vehicle back. They kept the vehicle way longer and then attempted to charge an astronomical amount. Hey if you no longer want to work on our vehicle, be a man and just say that. Two weeks and no repairs. Not ethical and not professional. Owner is a man baby.** Review update. The owner is the wife of the man, Myron Colley, who runs the shop. The husband gave my husband the quote on paper. When the work was NOT completed and the quote was much higher, my husband challenged the price. This must have challenged Myrons ego, because he retaliated giving my husband a huge bill AND told him the parts he purchased and left at the shop were no longer there. We had to contact the sheriff to help get them returned. Looks like the Colleys do not share the same perspective on customer service or ethics.

2021-12-13Had a disagreement on the price of a repair. Myron Colley quoted me one price, charged me $200 more. He didnt appreciate it when I showed him his quote and he adjusted. By increasing other charges.Subsequently he was to perform brake job on my vehicle. Kept it two weeks, did not repair (no brakes) and charged $1,000.I questioned his workmanship in front of the mechanic who did the work, and when the mechanic heard he had charged $1,000, he repeated the figure in shock.Myron Coey stormed off and said he would reverse the charge.Next day he told my associate I could not retrieve the doors to my International Scout which he had agreed to put back on because I owed him money.Called the police, and Myron Colley told the officer (I have the incident report) that I had pawned my Scout doors to Myron Colley and he loaned me $1,000.I filed a pre-arrest warrant for theft and he changed his tune and asked me to come and get them.Very shady business. As you can tell by the owners response to this review, one of us is an absolute liar, and one is telling the truth.

Its really hard finding an auto repair shop that dont make you feel like youre just another customer but they were the freaking best and will from now on be our home auto repair shop. 2021-05-22I went here after having my car looked at somewhere else. They figured out the problem and wanted to charge me over 2500... That was wayyyyy too high for what the problems were.My car was burning oil and they fixed the leak and it was more then half of what the first place charged me. Not only that but they fixed my skid plate by putting more bolts in it when I didn’t even ask for it to be done since the last place wanted to charge be 200-300 get a new skid plate 🙄.Best place I’ve went to and I plan on going here more often. Fast. Good prices. Professional. I love it and I’m so grateful that I was told about this place. ☺️

2021-11-11Shame on me for failing to take the poor reviews listed for this business seriously. Met owner same day I dropped off my jeep (overheating, needed radiator replaced), was told it would be done same day (Thursday). Later that day, I was told it would be completed by next day (Friday). Friday, it was to have been completed by Tuesday. Tuesday, it was to have been competed by Wednesday (1 full week later). Wednesday, lm charged more than I was quoted, with no discount provided for the inconvenience of being misquoted on timeframe required to complete repairs. Then, owner has the unmitigated gall to argue with me about the false expectations HE set regarding my repairs. If I could give them less stars, I would.
