Went for a hike at Roswell Mill and stopped here. Fez welcomed my family in for brunch. Beautiful atmosphere, great parking great food. We will be there on Saturday for brunch again. His kindness and helpfulness was unlike any other experience.Making this our regular Saturday hangout!Thank you Fez!
Several friends and I visited for Sunday brunch 7/3/22. The food was delicious!! All of us had a veggie omelette with potatoes. It was amazing!! They open for brunch at 11 on Sundays. The owner was very personable and brought us a smoked salmon appetizer that was sooooo good!! The entire experience was an unexpected pleasant surprise!! I highly recommend this restaurant!! This is my first restaurant review so I probably havent included what some people would like to know.
I would like to say that I had a great time but I did not. The food and servers and bartenders are amazing.I give them all 5 stars. However That manager or owner Mike is by far the rudest and nastiest person I have ever came in contact with. I would give him zero stars. I watched him talk to his employee so nasty and cuss them out in front of me and other guests making a huge scene for whatever reason. I have never seen such a hostile work environment in a restaurant. This all happened the last time I came this Saturday night , I seen it a little the Saturday before last as well and wanted to give it another try but last night was even crazier. I felt so bad for the people working under him. Maybe some management course or maybe him not being in the building is something you all need to take in to consideration. He left such a nasty taste and my guest and I mouth. With someone like him working there I do not see how you all have workers. I had to say something so maybe it can get fixed so that I can return at a later date.
Let me first start off by saying, I dont know how this place could receive a poor rating. From the food, the music, the staff and management, this place is amazing. Here today, this is my 4th visit and they never disappoint. You have to try the Bloody Marys with the thick crisp bacon - yum.. The Eggs Benedicts, Chicken & Waffles, and Chicken Nachos are absolutely amazing.. The music will keep you going while taking you back to the old-school days. I cant say enough great things about this place. A must visit on Sundays for the amazing brunch..

I would like to say it was a good time, but we Waited from 1:15ish-last call at the bar and had a bartender tell us we had to order from someone else, when that other person came around we were told it was too late to get drinks. We came to celebrate after a wedding and managed to only get one drink in 2 hours
Emily was amazing! By far one of the best bartenders I’ve had the pleasure of meeting! Service was quick and super friendly! Definitely will be going back hoping to see her again!
The food and drinks were excellent. There was a DJ and the music was perfect, not too loud. The place was very clean and everyone was so friendly. I will definitely be back.

I had to remind theserver when we got our bill to make theadjustment as far as the price becausethe bill reflected the ribeye which I didnot originally order. All I was told bythe server was sorry, thats my bad.Considering the price of the steak isaround $40, the ambience and lack offriendliness of the staff isnt worth it.Also, since I ordered a filet I figured Iwould be able to eat the majority of it.Since they brought a ribeye which I didnot originally order and ribeyes arenormally very fatty, I ate 1/3 of the steakand was able to take maybe another 1/3home leaving a lot of it on the plate.The only thing that would make me goback to this place is the fact that theyhave open mic night on Wednesdaynights and live music. Theres a lot ofother excellent restaurants in thesurrounding area which I would muchrather spend my money on it Im goingto spend this much on food and drinks.
We had a great experience. The pork-chop was amazing. The staff is very friendly and we had a great time sitting at the bar listening to music.
My 2nd dinner here in less than a week. Both meals were incredible! The atmosphere manages to pull off a balance of intimate dining followed by a full dance floor and a lot of folks having a great time when the DJ hits it at 10pm.Tonight was a 16oz flavor packed grilled ribeye, flawlessly cooked dressed with chimichurri and broasted Brussels, a shared side of jalepeno creamed corn that was incredible and mild spice enough for the untamed palette. My friend matched her 10oz filet with delightful mashed potatoes that were best described as perfection. The special lobster bisque tonight challenged some of the best fresh bisque I have enjoyed in the islands where seafood is standard. 2 for 2 on five star meals and fantastic service with personality— Ty Fes & Ky for a delightful evening and attentive service! Truly something for everyone here!
Overpriced, mediocre drinks. Service is average at best. Youll get more bang for your buck at almost any other bar on Canton Street. Will not be going back.
Ok you all, this Gaslight restaurant/bar/live music joint is vaaaaaaastly different than how it was under the previous ownership..in an amazing way! Go check it out ASAP. My husband & I stopped by this past Sat night for a nightcap after having an ITP date night and we are so glad we did. The customer service/engagment was amazing. We also met the owner Mike & chatted with him for a little while. Nice guy, hes doing things RIGHT. We look forward to going back there to eat. Pssssst, the chef here used to the chef at Hals steakhouse....need I say more?!
This place is amazing. Went to brunch at 12 and left at 3. Unlimited mimosas for 15 bucks. The brunch is sooo good. Crab is flown in from Maryland and lobster flown in too. Everything was fresh and delish!!delightful!!! Going back again. Cant get enough. DJ on Sundays too!!!
Our bartender, Oschia is amazing!! She makes the perfect drink, with great hospitality, and we love her smile! The vibe at Gaslight is fantastic !! It’s exactly what historic Canton Street regulars need! Let Micheal know to offer a late night Charcuterie! See all y’all soon!!

This place is amazing! Completely different concept then the normal in Roswell.. You have bar. Fine dining..then club feel.. All in one place. The food is AMAZING! The service is exceptional.. Its like a family atmosphere , they make you feel so welcomed. I love their brunch menu as well. But that 80s vibe got me hooked! Check them out, you wont be disappointed!!

I really love the decor, atmosphere and the entertainment but the food, though served in healthy portions, wasnt that great. It was actually pretty bland. I had the lamb chops entree and lemon pepper wings as an appetizer. The chops were cooked nicely but the sauce was bland and gross. The wings were over cooked and hard yet rubbery. Sorry no pics this time. Best part of the meal was the fries.
Service was really good from parking to the host to the bartenders. I really enjoyed the food.I went on a night where they had a private party event going on so I didn’t get to see or feel out the full vibe for a Saturday night. The bartender told us to come back on a non-private party day because it gets Lit. Haha. We’ll be back soon!
Dropped by last night and was really impressed. Allison was my server. She was amazing, attentive, and made great recommendations. I was impressed with the manager. He introduced himself himself, Niko, and personally made me my drink. The place is a really cool spot. It’s open late. So it’s a perfect place to enjoy alate night meal after I get off work. Ten out of ten. Will be back this week.
Got a takeout grilled chicken Alfredo and it was delicious! The smokiness in the meat is incredible! Can’t wait to go there in person sometime soon!

Stopped in tonight for a late night drink heard this place just reopened the drinks were great my bartenders were super nice I am a manager at Taffers tavern in Alpharetta and gotta say love the venue and you are doing the right thing with this place. Come for the vibes but not the drinks. The glasses were the size of shot glasses and there was barely any liquor mixed in the drinks. Im a light weight and I had 3 drinks and felt absolutely nothing. Wont be returning.

I was greeted with amazing customer service from the manager and all throughout the night. The food was superb. Honestly, it’s the hidden gem of Roswell.
This was a pleasant surprise. Super fun atmosphere and JUSTIN and the band were playing. Lots of dancing and price of drinks were reasonable. After Pastis closing for good, this is a great spot for the late night crowd. I was also happy to see how clean the restrooms were.

Management is wonderful, my coworkers are like family, atmosphere is fun, the bartenders are competitive bartenders and their drinks prove it. The food is made fresh in-house; we don’t even have a microwave! Chef David is fantastic. Management has been picky and mindful of who performs - always good entertainment. I also love that we provide such an extravagant selection of top shelf liquor. Our DJ is one of the best I’ve heard - he has the dancing going until close at 2am.And Roswell, I love y’all! We have the best customers! I enjoy working here not just because of the people I work with, but having fun, personable & friendly people to wait on is so rewarding. You make it worth it. Came to visit for the first time with my boyfriend. We sat at the bar and got incredible service. The owner was so hospitable and made us feel very welcomed. I ordered the fried pork chops and he had the chicken parm. Both so delicious! The vibe inside was on point and they also had tvs so we were still able to still watch Florida State play! (Go Noles) We will definitely be back!
Decent environment, it is an older crowd but still fun. The DJ that was there when I went did not take requests. Prices of drinks are your typical roswell pricing. Waiting for the server to get drinks took a minute so I recommend ordering 2 drinks at a Time.
Youve got to love a place that makes all their drink mixes from scratch and fresh ingredients! It truly adds to the flavour of each individual drink. Itd you like trying something new and yummy 😋 this is the place. You also gotta love a place that grounds all their own meats and creates a perfect flavor in to a simple dish😍 oh and the people that work here are pretty cool too. 😉

Its a cool little unassuming venue right next to downtown Roswell. Saw a live band there and as expected, it was too loud to have a conversation during their sets. I feel like for a space this size, bands should probably just go unplugged. The beer selection is unfortunate and rather uninspired... common domestics, Yuengling, Sam Adams or whatnot (I forget the specifics but you get the point). If they toned it down and put some effort into it, outside of their Manhattan menu, they could be on to something.
Been to the gas light two times so far on a Saturday night. Place is tucked away In the shell gas station. Cool speakeasy kind of bar with dj music, crowd tho is my parents and grandparents age, only people my age where the servers and bar tenders. This past Saturday they seemed understaffed at the bar and the bar tender had an really bad attitude when I asked if they had ingredients to make a drink and said no and walked away. Over priced beer, charged my friend eight dollars for a regular beer. Sadly not a place for young people.
Came for the first times gave the benefit of the doubt that it was live after 5 in Roswell. So the crowd was large. We waited over 15 minutes only to be told a snark remark by the bartender about how waiting with our card in our hand was “ not going to work buddy” ????? Why would being ready to pay for our drinks be consider anything more than a sign of us waiting for service. Did that remark even need to be made...

We went there for comedy night and we were quite disappointed. The comedians were not very funny with the exception of Ryan from L.A. he was pretty good. The food was average, service was good.

2022-03-08OMG! This is a GEM folks! Gaslight Bar & Grill is close to downtown Roswell area. If you blink, youll miss it. This is definitely where the locals go, if you get my drift. Ambiance is so good. Food was exceptional, each and every bite. Every bite was hot to the touch, so sit back and just take your time. Staff was superb. This is the spot, just go and try it. They did not disappoint!!!

2021-10-14Great spot in downtown Roswell! The food is D E L I C I O U S!!!! You cannot go wrong with what you order. The lobster mac & cheese is a must! If we lived closer we would be there every day!! It’s a cool vibe and the DJ plays a good mix taking you back to the 80s all the way to the present. Bonus…they are open late!! Go check them out!!

2021-12-07Let me start of by saying this, the food is out of this world! I have come several times since the re-opening of the gaslight with friends and even an event I brought my company to. The staff is fast and on top of it. Don’t miss this Roswell Hidden Gem, it’s a must stop place.

2022-01-18Probably the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had!From the enthusiastic greeter who confirmed closing hours over the phone, to the gentleman who opened the doors for us as we entered — the experience was A+.I went with 3 other women on a Wednesday night. We ordered cocktails, various appetizers and 4 entrees. Everything came out hot and fresh! The food was flavorful and presented well.Our server, was super upbeat and one of the owners came over to greet us. He made sure our time here was spent well and it was. Not only was it open night but a DJ was due to come later that evening. Although we didn’t stay for the DJ, the music was fun and the vibe was cool.Will definitely return when I’m back in town and my friend did return a few days after we visited the first time. Keep up the good work my brothers and sisters!!*p.s. we orders both chicken dishes, lobster and lamb

2022-03-05Dont sleep on this place. Their food is sneakily good. They had a tent setup at the Roswell Beer Festival and were serving nothing but their Honey/Hot Fried Chicken. Im going to tell you it was some the best fried chicken Ive had in a long time. The portion and quality were both a 10!

2022-03-05Nicely appointed with great music. Visited today for brunch and had the best crab Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was perfect - tangy and not too thick; it made the dish. The portions were generous; neither of us could finish. Service was very good. My only complaint is they had no iced tea. Everyone doesnt want to drink alcohol or soda with their meal especially early in the day. No iced tea in Chicago - expected No iced tea in Atlanta, GA - unexpected and disappointing. Will definitely visit again.

2022-03-04Food was amazing. Had the rack of lamb and it was delicious. Friend had the oysters and said they were best he ever had. Staff was friendly, they had trivia night while we were there which was fun. Would like to try it out on weekend with music and dance floor going.

Above and beyond service and professionalism. Dont hesitate to stop by. We had a blast and cant wait to return!

Verlina, our waitress was so personable. The owner and co-owners were super helpful in explaining the pairing of the beer with our meal. 2022-05-22I needed a place to hold a retirement party for a Cobb County school teacher. I spoke with Rob at Gaslight Bar and Grill in downtown Roswell as I had been there several times for Sunday brunch (and their brunches are delicious). He not only accommodated my request, but he also made it so easy during my busiest time of year. All I had to do was send out an invite. In the end, Rob, Mike, and the entire Gaslight staff provided us with incredible service, delicious food, and a classy environment at a very affordable price.Many do not realize there is a restaurant near the gas station at the corner of Magnolia and Atlanta Street; however, Gaslight is truly a hidden gem in a popular part of town.
