My husband and I got married at The Greystone Estate on 10.23.2020 - it took me awhile to write this review, as it was hard to find the words to describe a day that was absolutely nothing short of perfect. From the moment we set foot on The Greystone Estate property for our venue tour, we knew we had to get married there! The property is immaculate and the husband and wife owners are so welcoming, honest, hardworking and committed to their business! If you get married at Greystone, I highly recommend choosing from Marys (the owner) list of preferred vendors. Every vendor I chose, photo/video, caterer, DJ, shuttle service, flowers, etc. came from her list of preferred vendors and every single one of them blew me away with their professionalism, talent and true passion for being involved in our wedding day. Another perk of getting married at Greystone is that you will be assigned a wedding planner who will begin helping coordinate things once youve chosen your vendors, and who will be there day of to help set up and make sure everything runs smoothly. Our planner was Elizabeth and she was incredible. I mean it when I say there is not ONE thing about the day that went wrong, or that I wish would have gone differently. Aside from the beautiful bridal suite(s) - yes there is more than one, grooms room, and venue, the landscape and view from this place is what truly puts this venue over the top. The rolling hills of GA will be the landscape for your ceremony, should you choose to get married outside. I had shown my family pictures of the venue prior to our wedding day, but everyone was truly blown away by the view once they saw it in person. If we could get married at Greystone over and over again we would! It was truly the best day and we owe it all to Mary and her amazing team and incredible group of preferred vendors. 10/10 recommend The Greystone Estate if you are looking for the perfect wedding venue!
My husband and I got married at the Greystone in October 2019 and could not be more satisfied with our experience. Not only is the venue breathtaking but Mary and her staff were great to work with. This venue was the last of about 10 different venues we looked at and i totally fell in love the moment i got there. Everything i had dreamed about for a venue space is what i got from the Greystone. The bridal suite is totally worth the additional cost and is the perfect space for you and your bridesmaids to get ready in. From a planning perspective Mary laid everything out for me so all i had to do was check it off the list. It made planning not as stressful because she has a list of pre-approved vendors to choose from (you can go outside the list if you choose to) and a timeline on when everything should be booked and completed by so it is very helpful in knowing if you are on track or behind. Ashley Polite was my coordinator for the day and and she was WONDERFUL. Not only did we have multiple meetings with her leading up to our big day but she made sure everything was exactly how i wanted it and above all else she made sure I was taken care of all night long. I really felt like i could sit back and enjoy myself without having to worry about anything because Ashley and Mary made sure everything was in order. Our guests said our wedding was one of the most fun weddings they had been to and were in awe at how breathtaking the venue was. If you are looking for a beautiful venue space and a great staff to work with then I highly recommend considering the Greystone Estate.
I cant even put into words how completely perfect The Greystone Estate was for our wedding. The grounds are beyond beautiful from the moment you turn down the driveway. From the beautiful mountain views, to indoor space, everything about this venue is magical. We looked at so many venues prior to booking our wedding at the Greystone Estate, and I knew the moment we arrived that this was it!! Following the wedding, nearly every guest told me how beautiful everything was, and a few girls told me they were jealous and wished they wouldve used Greystone for their weddings!One of the best things about this venue was that they were able to recommend SO many wonderful vendors that they worked with on a regular basis- which made the wedding day go by more smoothly than I could have ever imagined!! Having vendors that are familiar and have worked at the venue before made all the difference in the world.I would 100% recommend this venue to any and everybody, because everything about this place is perfection. Mary personally made sure we had absolutely everything taken care of, and went above and beyond in every aspect she could in for our day. We were so overly blessed for being able to use the Greystone Estate to kick off the rest of our lives together- truly the best day ever thanks to them!!!
We recently enjoyed The Greystone Estate for our daughter’s wedding. Weddings are indeed a stressful time, doubly so during the pandemic, BUT working with Mary and our wedding planner, Ashley, at this venue was such a pleasure. The venue is just gorgeous and they have a great solution for a rainy day.The space for the bridal party is large enough to accommodate everyone AND all of their bags and gear. With 6 bridesmaids, 2 Moms, 4 Grandmothers and a Bride this space was really needed! We even had 4 hair/makeup artist working with us and we all felt like we had space to move. A refrigerator and space for food was a must as we were there for 6 hours before the actual wedding!The team at Greystone are absolute professionals and go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect! Highly Recommend!
This venue is absolutely stunning and on a pristine piece of property. I ran around the property in a pretty wedding dress in February, when nothing was even blooming and the pictures that followed were nothing short of stunning. Mary works hard to keep her clients happy and is always thinking of ways to improve to make it that much better!
I am so happy with my choice to choose The Greystone Estate for my wedding day. From the first day at my tour, I knew this was going to be the place that I was going to spend the best day of my life. The Greystone Estate met every single expectation I had for my wedding day. All my guest could not stop talking about how beautiful of a venue it was. I had Ashley as my Wedding Coordinator and she was so helpful through all my text, calls and questions. Being a really organized person, I was so happy to have Mary and Ashley as they are also very organized and made this wedding planning process a breeze with all the preferred vendors and help along the way. Ashley and Mary helped so much through the process but they also did SOOO much day of wedding so I could relax and soak in the day with my bridal party, they made everything so seamless and perfect. I will recommended The Greystone Estate for all of my days to anyone getting married!!! The day goes by fast- so soak it all in, Brides!!!!

I got married at The Greystone Estate in 2016. It was perfect. Mary and her husband were great and so easy to work with. There isn’t anything I would change about our wedding day. It’s an absolutely beautiful place.
I can’t say enough wonderful words about Greystone!! They were AMAZING to work with during our sweet wedding season. Mary went above and beyond to make our day special and memorable! Our wedding coordinator, Bethany, was a huge help in making our day as organized as it could be. Both Mary and Bethany kept the lines of communication open and easily accessible for any, and ALL, questions we had before the big day! The venue is incredibly beautiful and will forever hold a special place in our hearts! I will recommend Greystone Estate to anyone who is looking for the perfect wedding venue! In fact, I’ve got a family friend who will be getting married here in May of 2022!! So excited!!

An absolutely amazing venue! Not only is it absolutely beautiful, but they literally think of EVERYTHING! The least stressful wedding I’ve ever been a part of and it was my own! Mary, the owner, was super professional and always immediately responsive and happy to help. She is so knowledgeable about the business! Christie Alsip was our coordinator and she was absolutely WONDERFUL! She was so personable and so helpful about every step of the way. She was my personal hype woman all day, always made sure we had food and drinks readily available for us (the bride and groom), always made sure I looked picture perfect, and made the day absolutely seamless. Our families, bridal party, and guests all complemented how amazing and on top of it she was! She truly helped make our wedding day even better than I imagined it would be. Forever grateful!
I got married at The Greystone Estate in September 2020 and it was everything I had hoped it would be and MORE! Mary Stone was wonderful and was very professional. From our first visit/tour to the venue to the night of the wedding she was involved every step of the way. Elizabeth Vickery was our planner and she was amazing! She put our minds at ease knowing that she had everything covered. She was patient, kind and also very professional. The venue itself is breathtaking...the pictures dont do it justice. Mary and Felicia were fantastic 💯. If you’re looking for a wedding venue look no further. They were kind, accommodating, and professional and made our special day that much more amazing ✨. The process with them was so smooth we planned a 150+ guest wedding with them in under 4 months⌛️. The scenery will take your breath away and leave your pictures and wedding like something out of a fairytale 🧚♂️. Greystone was very thorough and honest on DAY ONE. Prices and estimates were given up front. Their organization and suggested vendors made planning nearly stress-free. Highly recommended A++++ venue. We would highly recommend this venue for your wedding! The scenery and landscaping are beautiful, and the indoor spaces are elegant and inviting. We also greatly benefitted from all the planning guides, timelines, and vendor recommendations that Mary has put together for couples. We loved working with Elizabeth leading up to and on the day of the wedding, and wedding-day team ensured our day went smoothly so that we were able to focus on enjoying the time with our friends and family.
Our wedding at Greystone was nothing short of amazing. The day was so beautiful, and the venue made it that much more incredible. Our guests commented on how pretty the venue was every 5 seconds. However, what made our wedding so special was the experience. Mary and our wedding planner Christie helped make sure the day was smooth sailing and that we didn’t have to worry about any of the details going on the whole day. I’m still in euphoria over how wonderful our wedding was at The Greystone Estate! We had the most perfect day. As the bride, the day was perfectly seemless thanks to all the hard work of the wedding coordinator Greystone provided, the vendors and venue staff. The venue was absolutely stunning and I am still receiving so many compliments on its beauty and the efficiency of how they handled the wedding. If you hire their recommended vendors you can’t go wrong. They were all so professional and easy to work with. I’m recommending Greystone to everyone I know because I’d love to come back as a guest! I had my dream wedding at The Greystone Estate last August. It is the most beautiful venue! Mary was the most helpful venue owner we had ever came in contact with. She was honest with us from the beginning, even when we were still looking at other venues. She was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and made everything so easy. The venue is kept up so well. It looks as if your wedding is the first one they’re having. All of our guests had an amazing time and we continue to get complements from our guests even 9 months later. I would recommend this venue to everyone and anyone.

Our wedding was yesterday, October 4, 2020 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Greystone Estate venue! Mary Stone and her husband will make sure that every detail is perfect! Our wedding coordinator, Christie, was amazing! My daughter Caitlin, who was the bride, could text her any time with questions and Christie would respond quickly! They truly cared about every little detail of her special day and made sure everything was perfect. We also love this venue because it is an outdoor/indoor venue that is elegant! Caitlin wanted an outdoor elegant wedding with gorgeous scenery and that is exactly what Greystone is! It is truly breathtaking there! We could not say enough about how perfect our entire experience has been! My recommendation is listen to their awesome advice and use the vendors they recommend and you will have the perfect Cinderella day just like our daughter did!
It was meant to be off the start with us having our wedding here. The others venues we were going to look at had to change days or were after our meeting here. The minute we pulled down the gorgeous drive we knew right away The Greystone was it! It exceeded all expectations!!! The grounds around the venue are stunning. Once we were there we never wanted to leave! Not only did we fall in love with the venue and it’s beauty but Mary and her husband were absolutely amazing! The Greystone Estate is truly a dream come true! We just had our wedding there this past weekend and we were absolutely blown away. Our guests kept commenting about how gorgeous the venue was and they loved the majestic views. Mary, the owner was so wonderful to work with. She really paid attention to every little detail and was so calm and kind throughout the planning process. Even with the changes we had to make due to Covid, Mary, Hannah and our vendors were flexible and went out of their way to make our guests feel comfortable and our wedding absolutely perfect. My bridesmaids loved getting ready in the spacious and beautifully decorated bridal cottage and bridal suite. My fiancé and I could go on and on forever about how much we loved our wedding at the Greystone Estate! My wedding was at The Greystone Estate in October of 2020. I cannot put into words how exceptional (above and beyond) The Greystone Estate was from the very beginning of the planning stages to the night of the reception. Our coordinator, Ashley, was a big part of planning this day and I couldnt have asked for a better person to work with - her knowledge, taste, and experience were show cased that night. Myself, as the bride having picked everything from decor to florals, when I walked in, even I was speechless how beautifully presented everything was. Mary and her staff went above and beyond all night long. Our guests are still talking about the night and how wonderful the venue was along with how Rockstar the staff was. Greystone Estate is absolutely beautiful! Mary made this potentially stressful time a smooth, wonderful experience. She made herself available for every question we had. No detail was hidden and we understood everything upfront and clearly. There were no surprises and I really appreciated that. My wedding was absolutely PERFECT!! Mary and her team were extremely helpful and helped me throughout the entire process. Kate, my wedding planner, was so helpful and answered any and all questions I had. Initially, Mary opened up her venue a week before she normally does for my husband and I to get married there. We were stunned and instantly knew that we were meant to be married there. The entire night, I keep getting comments about how beautiful and tasteful the venue was. It truly was the best night of my life and I would recommend this venue and Mary to everybody looking into getting married here.
My sister got married at The Greystone Estate last fall and it was beautiful! Mary and the entire staff were kind, thoughtful and accommodating to our every need. It rained the day of and at the last minute my sister had to make the decision to move the ceremony inside and they made sure every detail was exactly how she wanted! I highly recommend this venue!
We loved having our wedding at The Greystone Estate! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and we received so many compliments from guests. Mary was wonderful to work with and made the process so easy. We were able to choose from a variety of beautiful decor items to add finishing touches to our table and entryway. We rented the cottage on property for the day to get ready in, and it was perfect. There is tons of space, a kitchen to keep food (and champagne!) cold, and multiple vanities for hair and makeup. Both my husband and I would highly recommend The Greystone Estate!

5/15/21 Bride. Words do not begin to describe how wonderful and incredible Mary, and our coordinator Christie made our day. Our guests were so impressed with the grounds and have yet to stop complimenting our find of this hidden gem. Christie not only kept us organized throughout the day, but she went above and beyond our expectations of venue coordinator. She adjusted my dress for photos, kept our drinks flowing even throughout pictures, and made sure our day was as stress free and easy as I could ever imagine. We are SO happy we chose The Greystone. The day after our contact was signed, I was emailed with all the preferred vendors. It was a dream for all planning needs! Everyone was right there ready to assist! Mary is the most organized, level headed owner I came in counter with when searching for our venue. Down to the day of and she was right there during the whole event! Our wedding coordinator, Ashley — I could not be more pleased and at ease with our entire night! She helped answer the boys million questions / all of my families questions / made sure I was ok the whole time! At the end of the night she had everything all gathered and ready to go all my family had to do was put it in the car. Beyond impressed with both Mary & Ashley!! I am a hair and makeup artist who works solely in the wedding industry. I have worked with Greystone brides since the venue opened, and I’ve never had anything but a positive experience with Mary and her staff. They’re incredibly accommodating and go above and beyond for their brides! The venue is so unique and absolutely stunning! It’s definitely one of my favorite venues to work at. Is there anything higher than 5 stars? This was the first venue we looked at and the bar for our other venue appointments was set pretty high. We knew after visiting other venues that Greystone was definitely the right choice. Every single detail had been thought of so I knew our wedding day was going to go flawlessly and it did! I had my wedding at the Greystone Estate. When my now husband and I began looking at wedding venues he told me not to get too excited because we were going to look at a lot of venues before we made our decision. As soon as I visited the property at the Greystone Estate I just couldn’t help myself. I instantly fell in love! Every part of the property is breathtaking. My mind was made up that we would be getting married there!Then we met the owner, Mary. I instantly loved her as well! She had the kindest smile and sweetest personality. She showed us around the property and took her time getting to know us a little bit. She was very caring and welcoming.Communication is a huge deal for me and she nailed it. She kept us up to date on everything throughout the whole booking process and even up to the day of the wedding. She would email and text me about updates with vendors. She would even tell me about upcoming tastings for the food vendors because I hadn’t decided which one to use yet. She would show me new decor choices. She would give her honest opinions and recommendations. She was always so patient and understanding with me even though I can be quite picky and indecisive. She would always work with me to make sure that everything worked out just the way I wanted it to. I just adore her!All of my guests were also amazed by the stunning venue! I was told that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. So many guests had such a wonderful time. It was so much fun and so beautiful. Everything about the day was perfect.I cannot thank Mary and the vendors enough for giving me a fairytale wedding. It was the best day of our lives and a great way to start our happily ever after. A huge plus to Greystone Estate is having the cottage on site to get ready in for the bride and bridesmaids and then the grooms room for all of the guys. Overall we loved everything and are so beyond happy with our decision to choose Greystone.
My husband and I got married at Greystone a little over 2 years ago. I have nothing but positives to stay and would recommend this venue to future brides. Our experience working with Mary was exceptional and I can’t say that we had anything go wrong during our planning experience. Mary was very organized and kept us in the loop of every detail to ensure that our day was nothing but perfect. The venue is absolutely beautiful and it’s so relieving to have gotten married at a venue where I didn’t have to worry about Decour and all the little details because they everything there to choose from. My son got married at The Greystone Estates. It was the Bridges/Majors Wedding. Miss Mary and her entire staff were so professional. From the first meeting, and the first tour we knew there was no other place to hold a wedding. Miss Mary was so thorough she went line item by line item of the contract so where there was no confusion or misunderstanding regarding the contract. The venue and the wedding planner always stayed in touch with the bride to be and answered any questions and never felt like we were bothering them. The wedding was gorgeous there was a schedule we stuck to it it was amazing. The day of the wedding it was a little misty so they changed where the wedding was going to be held within minutes they were so accommodating and thoughtful. We actually hired the helicopter for the send-off but it was foggy that day and they offered to drive the bride and the groom away in one of their cars. The owner, Mary, is so wonderful to work with! Everything was absolutely perfect and went so smoothly and peacefully! My fiancé and I toured the Greystone Estate last year. We ended up choosing a different one, but even though Mary knew we weren’t planning on choosing it, she still took the time to sit down and break down hidden costs that other venues tend to have. She taught us a ton of great information about venue searching and was nothing but friendly and authentic. It’s truly disheartening to read the 1 star reviews from people who have never been to the venue and only listened to a smear campaign done by an upset bride. Mary Stone is a class act and a wonderful person and The Greystone Estate is breathtaking.
Mary and Robert make you feel like youre at home as soon as you walk into the property. It is absolutely gorgeous venue but it truly makes the venue by how great they are. My fiance and I knew we wanted to host our wedding at Greystone as soon as we met Mary and Robert. After the experiences of touring other venues around metro Atlanta, we were sold. Even though our wedding is a year away from booking the venue, Mary has stayed within communication with us and even asks about our how our small businesses are doing.
We toured the Greystone Estate as a possible venue for our wedding. While we were unable to book, simply due to the location being so far from our church, it was our first choice for a venue. It was absolutely beautiful. We met with Mary twice, and both times she was super accommodating and willing to share any advice she had.
My husband and I got married 2 years ago at The Greystone Estate on April 22, 2018 - it was the most magical day of our lives! Mary, the owner, and Ashley, my wedding planner, were very accommodating and supportive of all the unique features and situations of our wedding day. Our rehearsal was Saturday, the weather was beautiful. It was simple, efficient and we even had time for donuts and coffee with our close family and friends, despite there being a wedding later that day. The next day, our wedding day, was forecasted to rain. Our wedding planner reached out to us to determine what we wanted to do in case of rain. We came up with the plan that if by 9am the day of our wedding, if the forecast did not clear up, we would have the ceremony inside. It’s a good thing we had a contingency plan for the weather as it poured all day! While I was disappointed to not have the ceremony outside like preferred, Mary and Ashley and our caterers did a phenomenal job at making the ceremony just as beautiful indoors. Everything was perfect - the music, food, flowers, decor, etc. We even had a custom arch brought in for the ceremony, which was quickly and quietly taken out afterwards so we still had a dance floor for the reception. Thank you very much to The Greystone Estate for the most memorable and special day of my life!!
Everything about this venue is a 5star review. Let me begin by stating, I’m not your typical bride, and i didn’t always dream of my wedding day. I had no idea what I wanted or what I was looking for until I came across Greystone Estate. When we toured the venue (after looking at several others), we instantly knew this was where our life together would begin. The owner is the sweetest person I have came across. She has a passion for love and weddings. Never once did I feel like just another bride. She knows exactly what she’s doing. I will say, because of how amazing they are, they book our far in advance- so schedule and tour NOW!! We waited over a year for our day and the entire process was a dream. I had absolutely ZERO stress from the day of booking to the day of the wedding. For a girl that never dreamed of her wedding, it was truly better than dreams can make happen. It is the most beautiful venue that comes with so much in your package- wedding planning was a breeze for me! They grounds are everything about the property are always maintained and they’re always looking for new ideas and ways to make the venue even better. But to me, the most important thing was the communication. From the owner to my planner- communication was always above 100%. There is not a better venue around!!!
My wedding day was truly blissful and the credit is largely due to the Greystone Estate and all the amazing vendors associated.Planning leading up to the wedding day: every meeting and interaction we had with Mary was pleasant and professional. She provides planning forms which were lifesavers and made it easy to be organized which I appreciated. She responded to every question and concern promptly and reasonably.The venue: is gorgeous! So, so very stunning inside and out. Everything (from the bridal suite to the bathrooms) is clean and detailed. Unlike other venues Ive attended, there was never a moment of Oh, this is inconvenient/missing/disappointing. It was all thought of, all put together, all ready, all convenient! Walking down the aisle felt like a dream come true because everywhere I looked, it was all just SO PRETTY!The wedding day: was perfect, not stressful at all. My family and were able to enjoy every moment and celebrate the day together. Everything ran smoothly and at the end of the day, my new husband and I marveled about how Mary and her team were there every step of the way and made us feel that they personally cared about our wedding day, and that it wasnt just another production. I recently had my wedding at The Greystone Estate and I could not have asked for a better experience. Mary was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and truly made me feel special on my wedding day. She has a very calming way about her and makes you feel at ease, which is crucial for a bride! Ashley, my coordinator with Winey Blonde Events was THE BEST! She made the last 6 months of planning much easier and made sure my wedding ran smoothly. If anything went wrong, I never heard about it. I received numerous compliments on how gorgeous the property was and I cannot say that enough myself. The bridal cottage is stunning and the groomsmen thoroughly enjoyed the den! I am so glad we picked The Greystone Estate as our wedding venue! I knew immediately after meeting with Mary and touring the property that it was where I wanted to spend my big day. From the very beginning, she was prepared, organized, and responsive to any questions/concerns we had, and so personable and kind. The venue itself is beautiful and SO well maintained; our wedding was about two weeks ago and we are STILL getting those best wedding ever! comments. This place. There’s not enough space on here to even explain this Magical place.The Greystone Estate was the first venue that we viewed, and after we left with such excitement knowing that in our hearts this was the venue that we wanted to get married at; we looked no further and It really did exceed all exceptions. Wedding planning process was so easy. The Greystone Estate has preferred vendors and I took Mary’s and Elizabeth’s suggestions and was happy with everyone. (This took a ton of stress off wedding planning) People often ask us what was the best part about our wedding day and for both of us one of the best parts was that we didn’t worry about anything. Mary , Elizabeth and all the team work very closely with the vendors they recommend and for good reason. Their operation is smooth and slick, the co-ordination they have with their staff and vendors is amazing.It was an incredible feeling to know that we could relax and enjoy our day knowing everything was going smoothly and our guests were all enjoying themselves. We never had to keep track of time, Elizabeth was there making sure everything was running smoothly and on time. She always checked in with us to see how we were doing Emotionally,Mentally, and physically . We felt like a King and Queen on our wedding day.Thank you Mary and her husband for sharing such a beautiful venue and estate with us and I want to recognize your team for pulling all the details together. There were 0 hidden fees and everything was laid out so it was impossible to be confused on prices. The Greystone Estate is first and foremost an absolutely beautiful property and everything I could have dreamed of as a background to my wedding. Mary is so great and responsive and goes out of her way to make sure your wedding day is the best it can be. Despite the rain and cold weather, Mary made sure everything was perfect and even called my florist for me the day of to rearrange for having the wedding indoors. I highly recommend having your wedding here!

Mary and her amazing team made my special day the most amazing day of my life. From our first meeting we were blown away by her organization and honest, upfront attitude in regards to prices. There were no random hidden fees thrown in, which is very common with weddings. Not only did we receive an amazing venue, we also received an amazing wedding planner, décor items, google planning documents, and a list of approved vendors that have worked at Greystone before. Everyone talks about how stressful wedding planning is, and Greystone made my experience not stressful at all. I would highly recommend The Greystone Estate for all of your wedding needs!!
We had the wedding of our dreams at The Greystone Estate. Everything from our very first meeting with Mary down to leaving after our reception was handled with perfection and care. Mary has a wonderful team working with her at the venue and they make sure the Bride and Groom are well taken care of throughout the entire process. My daughter got married here recently. The planning, the staff, and the venue was absolutely amazing. The venue is so beautiful and well thought out for convenience and pictures. Greystone is amazing. I fell in love with this venue and fell in love with the owners and the wedding coordinators they have on staff at greystone. They are amazing. Mary(the owner), Elizabeth and Christie (wedding coordinators) did an amazing job making sure our day was perfect. They also gave me so many helpful bits of advice along the way that I never would have thought about without them. They went above and beyond on my wedding day to make sure everything went perfectly as planned. I cannot brag on them enough. They were overly prepared for any and every scenario that could have possibly have happened. The clasp on my dress broke and Mary and Elizabeth were there within minutes with a needle and thread and fixed it for me. They were constantly checking in to see if we needed anything throughout the entire planning process as well as on the actual day and they were always so quick to respond when I had questions. They gave us the best experience we could have possibly had and we feel so blessed to have gotten to meet them and work with them.
Mary handles customers like family and is completely calm under some of the most stressful times! She is understanding and compassionate and truly cares about her customers and her staff and it shows! 10 out of 10 would recommend! I am looking at having my wedding there all because of how she handles herself and her company and we live in Chicago!
Where do I begin?! Mary, the owner of this beautiful venue, was so helpful and thorough from the start. As she gave us the tour, she was guiding us in regards to everything we should inquire about a venue before booking - decor included, chair rental, kitchen access, etc. which showed us that she wanted to be kind and helpful, even if we didnt end up booking her venue. Obviously we did, and we couldnt have had a more perfect day. We appreciated how smoothly everything was run, how beautiful the grounds were kept, which created space for beautiful photos/videos, and the list of vendors Mary provided us with - many of which we booked for our day. If you are looking to simplify your big day, which already has so many moving parts, Greystone would be a great choice for you, as many different aspects (decor, cake, coordinator, etc.) of wedding day are included in your venue package! We wish we could relive this day all over again! Thank you again to Mary, Hannah, and all of our other amazing vendors. We appreciate you so much!
The Greystone Estate is a perfect place to have your wedding. Mary is extremely helpful in planning your special day and ensuring that everything goes smoothly. She also provides great recommendations for vendors and supplies a ton of decor options. My day went absolutely perfectly and I couldnt of dreamed of a better day/venue. However, if you have people in mind for vendors just know they have to have insurance and be approved. You also must choose some of their vendors such as catering, DJ, etc. This made it simple for me not having to vendor hunt, but just something to know! Honestly, that is the only thing I can say slightly negative about this venue. Mary and Elizabeth made my day incredible. Thank you so much!!

Beautiful wedding venue! My husband and I attended a wedding there last month. We were really taken at how beautiful everything was. The property is beautifully designed, landscaped and pristine. I am handicapped, so it was great to have the wedding and reception under one roof. Mary and Robert have done a great job working with vendors to make it easier for couples to plan their wedding. Its a beautiful venue for an outdoor or indoor wedding, with ammenities I havent seen in other venues. A perfect place to plan and have your wedding and reception!
There are a million things I could say about Mary and her team. They truly did go above and beyond for me and my husband for our wedding day. Our day-of coordinator Christie did everything she could to easy my stress and make sure everyone enjoyed the evening.The only thing I will say to future brides is one, if you have a big wedding party DO NOT DO A DAY-OF REHERSAL. Dont do it. You will fall behind instantly. And second, if you do have a large bridal/wedding party, start getting ready before you head to the venue. They let you in at 10 am and only at 10 am and that time crunch just didnt work with so many girls having to get ready on top of a day-of rehearsal.But other than that, I will always recommend Greystone because they gave me the perfect day

This venue is just stunning. Everything about it, inside and outdoors, is classy, elegant, and beautifully well-manicured. I did my research, and this is easily one of the BEST wedding venues around the greater Atlanta area for the price (most everything is included in the package deal), and especially if the rustic barn look is not your thing - it wasnt mine either. The planning process is as painless as possible because Mary gives you a list of vendors to choose from, which made my life 1000% easier and less stressful, so that is a HUGE plus! Mary and the assigned wedding planner are not only super nice, but they will both work with you to ensure that everything runs smoothly for the big day. Their communication was prompt. Also, the fact that there is an inside rain back up plan is invaluable; we had to do that for my wedding, and I have no complaints at all. It was just as gorgeous as an outdoor ceremony. My husband and I are still receiving compliments about the ambiance of the venue, how we had the best wedding food ever, and how friendly the staff was. Highly recommend!
This place is incredible. A number of guests said they felt like they were at a beautiful vineyard. The bridal cottage is so roomy and gorgeous, making it easy for the bridal party to have privacy. The guys enjoyed having their own space and pool table in the groom’s suite. We loved our helicopter exit! Mary was so supportive through the whole process, including a family tragedy about 2 months before the wedding. She takes special care with her choice of vendors, and she and her husband are very genuine people.

Personally, there couldnt have been a more beautiful venue that was a better fit for our daughter and son-in-law.But, I am writing this as the father of the bride and my own experience. I dont think I have ever met two people more committed to delivering an outstanding experience than the Stones. When we first met, I think Mary was concerned that I was a little too focused on the dotting the is and crossing the ts and, instead of a bridezilla, that Id be a fatherzilla. But once she realized what a wuss about my daughter that I am, she realized we were on the same page.I would say they know their business inside and out, but it is anything but a business for them. It really is a labor of love. I think their expectations of themselves are much higher than anyone else could set. All along, in the months leading up to the wedding, Greystone held each of the providers to the highest standards and made sure there were no surprises. She connected us with Elizabeth, an amazing wedding planner, who put my daughter and wife at ease, and eliminated any stresses in the few weeks leading up to the wedding and on the day of the wedding. Despite record heat on the day of the wedding, everything went off like clockwork and it truly could not have been a more outstanding event. My expectations were high. The Stones expectations were higher. I cannot recommend The Greystone Estate more highly.
I simply can’t say enough good things about this venue. Mary and her husband are so gracious and kind, and they talked through every last detail with us. We felt like we were part of a family the second we walked in for the tour, and we booked 2 days later. No joke! My husband and I got married at Greystone in November 2019, and it was our absolute dream day (highly recommend the helicopter exit!!! It’s one of our favorite memories). Elizabeth was our planner, and even though I am a complete control freak, I could actually relax on my own wedding day because she handled everything. Including making sure I had my drink 😂 I’ve already referred brides here and I’ll keep doing it - they made the best day of my life a reality ❤️❤️❤️

The venue has a beautiful country setting perfect for an outdoor wedding, which is what we wanted. The hall onsite comfortably accommated our reception. Mary, the owner, was absolutely pleasant to work with, and the coordinator she recommended was a lifesaver. This place is thoroughlyworth considering.

Its important to leave context when giving a review, instead of rating and leaving the rest for interpretation.Ive actually been to this venue as a guest of a wedding that was in April 2018, and there is no question this is a beautiful venue. I was actually a little shocked at just how beautiful this place was when I arrived.Now being a guest of the wedding, I would have had no reason to interact with the owners, so I cannot speak on that. However, I did come across the uproar that occurred recently and I will say that I have to give 5-stars (because that is the most Google will allow) on the Greystone Estate managements handling of the situation. During unfortunate circumstances, the owner had displayed admirable and utmost tact, professionalism, and respect - and that alone is worthy of applause.

Greystone took very professional measures during the pandemic to accommodate every bride with grace, kindness, and professionalism. One former bride attempted to smear their name and try to destroy years of outstanding work after cancelling her wedding after being offered exceptionally reasonable options during an unprecedented time. Karen & Elizabeth were so laid back and easy to work with, and the day of went off so smooth. If anything went wrong I never noticed! Elizabeth was able to wrangle my wedding party while setting up the venue, she always had a smile on her face which made it easy for me to trust her. Mary knows how to run a venue and her decor style is the main reason I chose this venue. Its eligenace and class was top notche. My guests could not stop complementing me on how stunning it was everywhere you turned, to how organized the staff was, to how luscious the landscape and design was outside. Mary and her team are truly a CLASS ACT.....You need only to look at the reviews of actual brides that had their wedding at the actual venue, rather than those comments that defend the self professed proletarian bridezilla and her mother who engaged in trying to slander this business with lies and false accusations. There is no excuse for a bride to call her wedding planner vulgar, derogatory words, and then resort to lies to try and cover up her bad behaviour. The Greystone Staff handled this incident with true professionalism. Any Bride would be fortunate to have such compassionate people working on their behalf to have the wedding of their dreams.

I am a Greystone bride with a wedding in Oct 2020! They have been absolutely amazing from always being there to answer my questions and making sure my special day goes as smoothly as possible! I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Mary and her team are amazing!

Beautiful venue with professional staff. They have worked with every bride during the Covid19 pandemic with sympathy and courtesy above any beyond, and have done their best to be as compassionate under the circumstances-rescheduling at no costs to the brides, despte all the hours put in prior to arrange the scheduled day up to this point. While one bride and her mother decided to attack the Greystone with extreme vulgarities and profanity, and exhibited an extreme lack of class, the venue should be excused for not bowing to their outrageous behaviour, and should serve as a lesson -in all circumstances, treat each other with respect, and businesses and individuals are much more willing to make concessions. Kelly and Judy Brooks do not seem to understand that their rudeness, lies, and false narritive are not acceptable under any circumstances.

This venue is amazing. It’s so beautiful. 2 months later, and my husband and I are still complimented and asked about the venue constantly.Mary makes planning so easy, with a list of recommend vendors and a wedding planner, who is included in the price. My wedding planner, Ashley (Winey Blonde Events) was AMAZING. Mary and Ashley always responded to my numerous emails and texts promptly. The day of went so smoothly. My wedding here was everything I ever dreamed it would be and more. I’d recommend TGE to anyone!
5 stars is not enough to express my feelings towards this venue and their staff. May 11th 2019 will be a consistent memory every year until death do us part. Our special day was absolutely gorgeous and all our friends and family members still talk about how much fun they had on our special day. Miss Mary was very helpful throughout the entire process. She was willing to adjust a few of her rules to accommodate the kind of day we were trying to capture. Beautiful venue, every detail is managed and attended to by the owners and/or the planner. In the months leading up to the event there were deadlines and answers to my questions that felt...at the time, constrictive and maybe a bit hard to hear at times for this event planner mom!What did that lead to? A difficult relationship, NO. Upset bride, NO. Stressed mother of the bride, NO. What it created was a timeline that was methodical, a seamless and stress free day for everyone. A day we could enjoy, a wedding coordinator that was headed my way with a solution before I even noticed that I needed something, a behind the scenes crew that included the owners who said “what can I do?” at every turn.
The Greystone estate is the most beautiful and accommodating wedding venue in North Georgia, if not all of Georgia! The owner, Mary, goes above and beyond to meet your every need, even during these difficult times.
Our wedding at the Greystone Estate was lovely and the best day of our lives! HOWEVER, I would like to advise future brides on a few topics. Mary is kind, and makes you feel as though your wedding will not only be affordable but also an attainable feat. I was however, disappointed with the level of communication provided to me as a bride in regards to policy changes throughout my year engagement. I planned every wedding detail early out. I kept a 4 inch binder of all contracts, emails, etc. My advice to you, KEEP EVERYTHING IN WRITING!THE BACK UP RAIN PLAN. The flipping of the room that Mary insisted in the beginning was so simple was in fact not flipping the room at all. She tried to convince me that walking through round tables instead of an aisle would still feel like the wedding I had dreamed of my whole life. If Mary was not willing to flip the room in its entirety as she had previously led me to believe, I wanted a tent. Mary eventually/reluctantly agreed.OUR EXIT: In our initial meetings a mandatory exit time was never discussed and I was led to believe I had the venue until 11PM. My wedding was on a Friday, so we planned to start the ceremony at 6PM. At a later meeting, Mary informed me that all events had to be over by 10PM. This was news to me, but we reluctantly bumped the wedding up an hour (thankfully I hadn’t already printed my invitations!). I then booked our helicopter for a 10PM take off. Mary’s initial reason for having helicopter exits early was due to “noise ordinances”, however, I called the local county office and confirmed the law stated 12PM. She then blamed it on her neighbors complaints. She seemed more concerned with her neighbor’s negative opinions than with disappointing a bride. After a venue meeting, I got an email stating that the rules had changed again. Imagine my frustration at this point. We are 57 DAYS OUT from my wedding, invitations have already been mailed, and I am just now learning that if I want to leave by helicopter (my plan from the beginning, and had already booked/paid for it), I would have to leave my wedding at 9:30 PM. It felt as if I was being pushed out of my own wedding early so that Mary could move on and begin to prepare for the next day & the next wedding.THE DJ we decided on was based upon Marys recommendation. Roughly 50 days out from my wedding I got a call from my DJ saying that Mary would not let him on the property anymore due to noise issues. I HAD NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM MARY! I had my vendors booked early in 2017 and Mary was given this list at our very first meeting. Later Mary told me there were liability concerns. After I questioned why I had not been informed earlier, she told me that she does not review a bride’s vendor list until 30 days out from the wedding! If there is an issue with a vendor, how on earth are you to find a replacement in 30 days? The lack of communication was unbelievable. Mary did eventually honor my contract and allow me to have the DJ- and he was AMAZING!The common theme here is that all this frustration could have been avoided if expectations were set accordingly from the beginning and lines of communication were continued throughout the process as policies changed. There was so much unnecessary stress brought on due to these changes. All in all, my wedding was beautiful and I don’t regret getting married there. Brides, you just need to be on top of the details, get everything in writing, and stand up for what your vision is.
This venue has amazing customer service even after a bride called one of their wedding planners a horrible name. After a bridezilla got mad she couldnt have a full refund of a wedding that was in a few days she decided to do a smear campaign. The bride was a manipulative woman with no class. They will make your wedding amazing!
I attended a wedding here recently and the venue was absolutely stunning with a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains! Mary and her family have clearly put in a lot of time to make sure that this is one of the best venues in the greater Atlanta area. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place that will take your breath away!

I work in the wedding industry PT, and absolutely every vendor I know locally has accommodated clients as a result of COVID-19. The bride who has been attempting to sabotage Greystone, Kelly B., has shamefully thrown a temper tantrum AFTER being offered any available future date for rescheduling. The venue was also up and operating on her ORIGINAL date, and the owner shared that with her. If youre interested in hearing Kellys hysterics on this call, the call was recorded and posted to Greystones Facebook page. The owner was incredibly gracious, and Kellys coordinator, after being verbally harassed and berated by Kelly, was gracious as well. Please, before leaving a negative review on a reputable and respectful business profile, know your facts.
They handle difficult situations with their couples in a very compassionate and professional way. This pandemic has created stress for EVERYONE including venues. (One of the most difficult positions to be in is on the venue side of things in my opinion) I think you guys are amazing in how you have been handling your rescheduling. The fact that you are allowing rescheduling at all is a big deal. There are many venues that aren’t, or If they are they charging a large fee to do so. Hang in there!l ❤️

The poor bride described in the previous bad reviews LIED about what happened. The truth was published - brides own voice on a phone call with the venue. The venue offered several resolutions, the same resolutions offered to the rest of the displaced brides. LYING bride took down all her social media when she was found to be an entitled and horrible person, along with her mother. She is a terrible bride trying to ruin a business because she couldnt get the very unreasonable things she wanted. Bride is the scammer, not the venue.
Beautiful venue! We attended a Sunday evening wedding at Greystone estate. Very nice facility. Grounds are impeccably kept. Wait staff was prompt and attentive.

Just heard the phone call from the bride that tried to ruin this venue’s reputation. I know wedding planning is stressful and was only worse by the pandemic... however it seems this venue really tried to make it work for her but she wasn’t open to hearing them out. It’s a shame. The venue looks beautiful and I hope they recover from this scandal since they weren’t really at fault here.
There are so many words I could use to describe this place, but Perfection is the one I think Ill use. I cried at how absolutley breath taking the scenery was. The venue and bridal sweet was amazing. Staff there went out of their way for what ended up being an amazing day.

Shame on you folks who have never dealt with this or any other business themself, personally, that would jump on a smear campaign, with very little facts (that ended up being exaggerated and some downright proven to be a lie. This could SERIOUSLY effect a business and many people’s livelihood who appear to legitimately work very hard and do a great job...all because u decided to play keyboard warrior because someone said u should. So while even a “fake” positive review is absolutely not something I would normally do, it’s only fair to cancel out at least one false negative review! Actually I give them 5 stars for the way they handled this situation! It was an amazing example for us all. Anyone who filled one out can still correct it or remove their fake reviews and redeem themselves in some small way! This is a really nasty way to mess with someone.

2022-05-22The Greystone Estate is the best wedding venue in North GA!This venue is also not too far from the Northern metro area of Atlanta and makes for a scenic drive there and a fast ride home after the party!If youre looking for a venue that will provide a beautiful memorable wedding but not break the bank, this is the one.They do not hide fees and working with them was so easy. They already have tables provided and a closet full of table decor at no extra cost.Most venues make you pay for extra time in the bridal suite but I was allowed to show up at 10am on the day of at no extra cost as well!Mary Stone and my wedding coordinator Elizabeth made it easy by giving me my very own bride guide to help me step by step throughout the planning process. My friends and family were shocked at how organized I was but I owed it all to the Greystone Estate. Most of all, they made sure everything went perfect on the wedding day!The DJ comes with the wedding day package which gives you one less thing to worry about, and he did an AWESOME job and provides options for a photo booth, or more.This venue has so much charm, from the cute chapel my husband and I got married in, to the luscious green grounds, beautiful pond with a fountain, and beautifully decorated wedding reception hall! Some of my guests even said they felt like they were somewhere in Europe!This place really is a hidden gem and I am so lucky my friend recommended it.

2022-04-17Love, love, love The Greystone Estate. From the moment we arrived until the day of our ceremony, Mary Stone and her team made our wedding experience fun, elegant and unique. Getting married at 70 seemed a bit overwhelming. All the planning and vendors and schedules... Oh, my! Our personal coordinator, Elizabeth, made sure all our questions were answered and we chose our photographer, florist and caterer from Greystones preferred vendor list. They customized their services to meet our needs perfectly and our guests cant stop talking about how much they enjoyed the whole experience! We totally recommend The Greystone Estate!

2021-06-22I cannot say enough good things about The Greystone Estate and the team I had on my wedding day (which were mostly from their preferred vendors list)! Everything was so perfect about this day.This is why we chose The Greystone Estate as our wedding venue, and why we are so thankful we did!- Well, first of all, they had me at The venue comes with a wedding day coordinator. Christie was our wedding day coordinator and she was awesome! She ensured my husband and I had drinks in our hands, food in our bellies, and smiles on our faces.- The bridal suite had plenty of room for everyone to get ready, with tons of natural light which is ideal for applying makeup and getting hair done! (I had 8 in my bridal party - still plenty of room for everyone!).- They have a perfect indoor alternative for the ceremony in case of rain. Absolutely a must for us!- An awesome grooms suite (no other venue had this tier of grooms suite, if they even had one at all. They Greystones grooms suite has a pool table, its own bathroom, leather couches, a fridge, and the decor truly resembles the ideal man cave)- Incredible views! Family and friends from NY, CT, CO, FL, WA, and even those tuning in from Canada were blown away at how beautiful the venue was. There is no bad backdrop - perfect for photos, which youre already spending a TON of money on, right? Might as well go with a venue that will foster beautiful photos no matter where the picture is being taken!- No hidden fees!!!- & I kid you not, at the end of my wedding I was trying to clean up florals and decor and Mary stopped me in my tracks and said What are you doing? Dont worry, we got this! Keep in mind, Mary is the venue owner. Yes, the OWNER will be there on your wedding day to help set things up, break things down, etc. If that doesnt show you how kind Mary is and how passionate she is about what she does I dont know what will!- MY DOG WAS ABLE TO BE MY RING BEARER - but only because Mary referred me to a woman whose job it is to literally watch your dog on the day of the wedding to ensure smooth sailing and a happy pup!- Thinking of buying table numbers, centerpieces, misc. decorations? No need with The Greystone Estate! They have everything available to make your day incredibly beautiful. And tons of options of decor to help create your image for your day!!My husband and I are just so happy with everything and how it turned out. We are so grateful for this day and even more grateful for that fateful day when an Ad for The Greystone Estate popped up on my Instagram feed!! I wish I could relive this day over and over again, not only because I married the love of my life, but because of how this venue was able to bring our vision to life, and help create the fairytale that was our wedding day!

2022-03-06Oh goodness, where do I start? My husband and I had a 4 month engagement and I honestly do not think it would have been possible to have the perfect day we did without Mary, her team, and vendors at Greystone Estate. When we toured the venue we were blown away by the scenic location and I was immediately smitten with all of the potential photo backgrounds. Sitting down with Mary to talk through what it’s like to have a wedding there though is when we felt peace about moving forward. As a couple with 2 busy jobs and a tight timeline we needed all the help we could get and Mary’s vendor list was magic. While it was nice knowing we could have brought in different photographers/ makeup artists/ florist we certainly did not have the time or desire to do all the research and the vendors we were introduced to through the list were AMAZING. While I was initially bummed because I did actually already have a different DJ in mind and that was one vendor that was already selected in the contract, in the end I was not disappointed. He kept the dance party going and was flexible to pivot when needed. Working with Ashley, a Greystone wedding planner, was a relief because sometimes you just need someone to bounce ideas off, hold you accountable to progress made, wrangle everything on the day of. It made me able to relax knowing that someone else had all the details written down and would ensure they were executed. After the wedding was over my family and bridesmaids repeatedly commented how great it was that they didn’t have to do anything with setting up or breaking down.Our wedding was in January which is a real dice throw for weather so it was nice knowing there was a beautiful outside and inside option for the ceremony. It was 42degrees for our ceremony and we still decided to have the ceremony outside in the beautiful open air chapel and I have no regrets. Yes… it was cold. But folks were prepared with coats, we brought in some heaters, and the ceremony wasn’t to long. I wouldn’t recommend the outdoor option for everyone at that temperature but for us it was perfect. Having that moment when the grand double doors opened and I walked down the aisle to meet my love surrounded by our friends and family in the scenic Georgia hills is a memory I will cherish forever. The indoor reception space just looks so grand with the chandeliers, draping, and candles making everything sparkle. Now having to acquire my own centerpieces and just picking from the decor closet was awesome.Thank you Mary, Ashley, and the whole team. Our wedding day was perfect and my husband and I couldn’t be happier!

2020-11-18Mary and her team have been nothing short of wonderful during our planning process! They respond quickly to emails and keep us up to date on everything happening with the venue. When I was looking at venues, I went to 17 different places in Georgia and nothing came close to Greystone. They built this place specifically to be a wedding venue and everything is planned perfectly. Every detail has been thought out. One of the things we found at a lot of barn-style venues was that they wanted guests to park their cars in the grass, often times right in front of the venue space! At Greystone, you actually pull down behind the venue, so once youre in front of the venue, you dont have anything to spoil your view. Another plus is that they actually have a very nice, large grooms suite for the guys! We went to so many venues that didnt have one, or expected 5-10 grown men to stay in a closet sized space. These are just two of the many thoughtful details things that makes them stand out above the rest! I work in the event industry, so I think about weddings little differently than most brides. At Greystone you can have a stunning interior and exterior event space WITHOUT compromising on logistics. We have enjoyed every minute of the planning process and we are so excited for our wedding day!UPDATE:Mary and Ashley were absolutely incredible in the days leading up to our wedding. As an event planner myself I was nervous about letting go, but they took care of EVERYTHING. Day of was an absolute dream and I didnt worry about anything AT ALL. The entire day was seamless. Their service, and attention to detail is unmatched! We had so many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous the venue was and how this was one of the best run weddings they have been too. Mary and Ashley, you both exceeded my expectations. Thank you for letting me step away and enjoy being a bride for the day!

2020-09-11There are no words for how happy we were with The Greystone Estate for our daughters wedding. Their customer service is absolutely world-class. Mary handled everything from changing the original wedding date due to military deployment, to sewing an open seam in my dress five minutes before the ceremony, to personally calling a guest who left a personal item behind and arranging to meet with her to retrieve it with kindness and grace. Elizabeth, our wedding planner, was responsive, knowledgable, and made sure that every detail of the wedding went off without a hitch, giving our daughter the wedding of her dreams. Our daughter commented later that evening that everyone had her prepared for things to go wrong on her wedding day, yet nothing did. The Greystone Estate is a beautiful venue staffed by beautiful people; we cant recommend it highly enough.

2021-08-17Our wedding day at The Greystone Estate was absolutely incredible!! The venue is STUNNING and the entire process from the moment we booked was seamless and easy, due to the organization and resources provided by Mary and the coordinators. Ashley was our coordinator and she went above and beyond to make our wedding the most perfect day ever! It was an absolutely amazing experience and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue! Thank you!!
