The Home Depot in other cities:
Absolutely fine service. I would recommend this homedepot to anyone they had exactly what I was looking for which was mold killing or removal substances and an air conditioner. Everybody was extremely polite and helpful. Also no wait in line as well I would recommend this one above all others for sureeeeeee!🖖
Buckhead location is NOT SAFE, the bathrooms(womens) is disgusting and NO toilet seatcovers, toilet paper is usually NOT in the roller(so everyone has to touch the roll). Have to lookfor help in garden center or ask anothercustomer. Come on Home Depot, make itbetter or close. Im going to Lowes on PtreeNear Chamblee. BTW, police presence needed
This store location is pathetic. I went to this location to buy a battery for my Dewalt power tool. Amazon had a lower price, and I checked Home Depot’s website before ever leaving the house to make sure the price matched. Their website says they do. They make a big deal out of “lowest price guarantee.” When I got to the location the app said the battery was in, it wasn’t there. I had to hunt down a sales associate in a different section, just to be told the batteries were in an overhead bin in the other end of the store.I finally get to checkout with the battery, and the sales associate said she needed a manager. She and I stood together for about fifteen minutes waiting on a manager to show up. This incredibly rude “manager” eventually walks up to us, then proceeds to tell me that they don’t price match Amazon. I tell her that the website says they will price match online retailers, and there’s no mention of an Amazon exclusion. She then offers to “call the manager.” I said I thought she was the manager, and she said she was, but she could “call the manager” again as she’s actively walking away from me.Screw this place. Every time I go here I waste half my day waiting around to give this ridiculous excuse for a store my money.
One of the largest Home Depot’s I’ve been to. With a large parking lot to accommodate. The large plant life area is beautiful. With so many items to choose from there were not many employees to help locate anything. Actually I did cross paths with about six all of whom did not say hello nor did they ask if I needed any help finding anything. After I approached one for help thankfully he knew where to direct me and walked me over to the area, but quickly left before providing any further assistance. After I found my items I was surprised to finally get a hello, did you need help finding anything from the employee of the month in my book Mr SCOTT T. He also apologized for the other employees that didn’t greet us. Which was another great action by Mr SCOTT T. I liked the benches by the check out area and the large selection of appliances.
Home depot have the best interior exterior paint you will find, and vynal flooring sheets for floors, and bathroom, redwood is one of the favorite flooring sheets available, home Depot have you in mind for painting and flooring sheets available, your friend curtis Hill.
You can find everything that you need to build anything. The staff is always friendly and they will help you if they can, if not, they would find someone who will do. But still need more construction equipment for little projects, I had been there looking some tools for small projects and I haven’t had luck finding what I’m looking for.
I was looking for a product and asked an associate if they knew where it was. They said it would be in the Garden department, so I looked there for a while and didnt see it. Then I asked a Garden Associate where it was and he said it would be in Paint. I looked around Paint and didnt see it so I asked a Paint Associate. He didnt understand what I was looking for. If Home Depot wonders why customers would rather shop online or find a product location online and then go get it without talking to anybody, its because Associate knowledge of store layout is zero. Communication is zero. Product knowledge is zero. Now the military discount is being limited annually. Time to shop somewhere else.
A great young man named “Sam” was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had lost hope in this store because there’s never enough people to help you but Sam went above and beyond to help me find the item and even helped me loading it to my van. People like him make a big difference in retail business. I truly appreciate his help!!
Store is an embarrassing example for the Home Depot company. Parking lot is always a mess with carts and trash scattered about plus the staff, specifically in the lumber dept, looks and acts like they could care less about helping customers. Will drive further in the future to avoid this store whenever possible
Shawn/Shaun T is always super helpful and kind in helping our family load our tree onto our car. This is the 2nd year in a row we had him tie our new Christmas to our car and we remembered because just like last year we were met with a genuine kindness and helpfulness that we dont come across very often.Grateful to experience such great customer service.
YASSS! Randy the assistant store manager at this location is AN ABSOLUTE GEM! He is a shoe in for District Store Manager and we need more people like him providing the customer service we all deserve! Thank you SO much Randy for backing me up today and letting Dirt Devil know that they will not be selling a product called a VIBE that provides anything but the vibe we need in our homes. 100/10 recommend this store and be sure to say hi to Randy!!!
Again to everyone I went yesterday to get some crates or the containers to be able to put my clothes away its a little expensive I got three black with yellow top containers for $16 a piece so they came up to 50 something $60 theyre worth it though and they have reasonable things that you do all your own Im sorry she didnt building painting cleaning replacing the guys go out there and get to your best gifted self like I said before be blessed and not stressed have a good day 👏🥰🤩😍💯🙏💞💃💟💟🌅🎉💖
Everyone was very helpful. They had to special order what I needed and what i liked the best was all I had to do is pick it up in the special lock box. That was very neat! No hassles waiting in a line then having to wait for someone to find your order!! I wish the other Home Depots would get that system!
Overall this is a great store but there flooring department is terrible. I ordered some blinds for a new home. Home Depot was supposed to coordinate for someone with their 3rd Party blind installation contractor to come out and measure the windows. It took roughly 3 weeks of me going back and forth to Home Depot trying to get a status and to get the measurement scheduled. Then when it came time to deliver the blinds, someone was supposed to contact me and provide a delivery date and window. Nobody ever called, but when I got to my home this morning the blinds were laying outside of my garage in the rain and some of the boxes were soaked. Just terrible coordination and communication.
Right now, Home Depot and their delivery/installation service is very dysfunctional. I can not recommend them. I bought a washer/dryer in August and they have yet to deliver all of it. It is a long story, through no fault of the sales associates in the store, but this has become absurd. All over the stacking kit.The associate told me the stacking kit is in the dryer box. The first delivery people did not see the stacking kit on the order and refused to deliver it. How was I supposed to argue with the experts? The second attempt, the delivery people claimed the kit was not in the dryer box and left again. Only this time, they broke the washer and had to reorder the washer. On the third attempt, they delivered the washer, but had no dryer to deliver. They took the old, working washer and dryer away. Got a call from Home Depot that the dryer was lost and had to order another one. Delivery date is scheduled for November 6.What a mess. And no attempt from HD to try to fix this, expedite it or make it right.
9/26/19 I called prior to going to see if an employee could help me replant my growing Monstera deliciosa seeing as I’ve never done it before. We were told an employee by the name of ***Ranger*** was there and could help us. He did an AMAZING job. He was a nice sweet funny guy. He gave us so many tips and tricks to planting and I could tell he was passionate about his love for plants AND his job. He deserves to be acknowledged for his kindness and great customer service skills. Thank you Ranger!!!
Amilkar helped retrieve an item for me that was out of stock on the shelf from the overhead stock above. He trekked 3 aisles over to retrieve a ladder and brought it all the way back. After all the trouble he went to, I only needed 1 item from the box he pulled down. He was still gracious and delivered excellent customer service. Thank you!
Today i went there to get some gardening supplies and basically found every single thing i needed and more! The crew there are the most helpful people and friendly; Andrew in the gardening department was very knowledgeable and friendly and even helped me find the right size pot for my new blue berry bush !Love them and hope they keep up the good work in these times! Be safe stay safe
Appliance delivery is a fiasco at Home Depot. While you can set a delivery date at the time you place an order, the actual delivery time window is not provided until less than 24 hours in advance. If that time window doesnt work for you expect several weeks before they can reschedule. If you order appliances from Lowes you can select both the delivery date and time window at the time of the order. I would highly recommend choosing anyone other than Home Depot if you are ordering appliances.
After placing my order I went to the bathroomWhen I returned I had already received a notification to pick up my order. FastNow thats a 10 star plus on a Saturday priceless. They got this curbside service to a science I notified them my parking #, color of vehicle showed my ID was delivered with a Smile. If you fear the unknown of COVID, and on & on this is a must. Thank you Home Depot. I wish I had ask my delivery she was extraordinary.
Its very obvious: they are not employing enough people. Conner, However. He lęţ me know:my wait time in question. It was right on point! He spent time; happily, chatting and cutting the detentions I needed. Came out perfectly.I came by a few weeks ago. Buying the wood, I need, has greatly improved. Im happy Im getting good service; being wood is so expensive!!!!!!!!!!!(FYI: they somehow have cheaper prices than local mills)Update : I went to buy 350 hardyplank they dont have it guys, they have the individual boards but thats it. Pro services was great in helping me secure this in mid-town. So I really hope the hardy plank is in soon in bigger swath siding.
Always has everything... Why cant Home Depot main office in Cobb County make the same distribution to other stores like this one... Shouldnt have to come all the way out here to get what I need...I have to be pass three Home Depots that dont carry what I need... SMDH...Make ALL products available elsewhere please...
In January of 2014, I was in process of moving from Florida to Missouri. I got stuck in the horrible ice storm in Atlanta that shut down the city. People ditched their cars on the side of the highway and I was stuck in wall to wall traffic that was going nowhere. All of the hotels were sold out and I sat at an exit in my packed car for several hours (barely able to move it was so full due to being packed from my move) with no shelter stuck and was scared I was going to freeze to death. I found out after almost giving up on trying to find a place through WOM that Home Depot opened their store up as shelter. I believe it was this exact Home Depot I was at. They welcomed me in with a place to sleep and food. There were several other people staying there as well. I am very grateful and wish I could do more to express how thankful I am for what you did! I should have written this review a long time ago btw!!!! Very humane of Home Depot to do this! Thank you!!!!
Note: I am not a contractor nor construction professional. Mere homeowner who takes care of as much as he can himself. That said, this Home Depot has consistently offered an excellent customer experience. Clearly identified/labeled and logically laid out organization, friendly and available employees, and the synchronization with the phone app makes ordering/pickup a breeze. The parking lot is a *bit* tight/challenging to enter/exit but that’s to be expected for the location, so while it’s good to anticipate the extra time you’ll likely sit in traffic, don’t hold that against Home Depot management.
NOT good, the new typical poor customer service. Employees like most place, are talking amongst theirselves too busy to answer the phone or help people in the store. Called and left on hold for 22 minutes which again is the new normal, Called the corporate office about 10 times about Home Depots lack of accountability with phone and customer service but, it will not change! On a bright note, Tim at the Pro Desk is the Best and Awesome, only employee that I have ever had at Home Depot that helps and gives customer service like he does! We would NEVER go to this store if He was not there!
I would give three but only to your supervisor that tried to fix a problem with your contracted delivery service, Spirit. At the end of the day, she could not reason with Spirit Delivery - a company that you allow (based on all of their terrible reviews that I read and added to) to be in business with you. I have always been a Home Depot fan and cardholder. That ends now. Someone on your team really should spend some time looking at their reviews and reaching out to all of the lost customers. Spirit, what a joke of a name.
They seemed a little short handed this weekend and I couldnt find an orange apron when I needed one. I asked for help at the service desk and they very quickly walked me to what I needed and gave me some other options to help with my project. I had two people helping me once I asked. I cant say enough good things about the great service I got here after I was little frustrated. Thanks guys. Great team.
They failed to honor my requested 10 percent military discount, even after showing valid ID. Returned to the store for a price adjustment, but they require all items purchased to be returned as well! How inconvenient. Dont offer and advertise a discount unless you intend to honor it. Without the discount, Walmart is a better and less expensive option for many items. Restrooms at this location were closed, and the entire aisle was blocked off. Never encountered this at a Home Depot. Ill shop at another store in the future.
We have been the customer of Home-depot for past two decades. Been in many location and dealt with many employees. This location been always amazing. The ppl at pro desk are working hard to meet the costumer expectations. The service is excellent. However since the Mannagmnet has change u can see how the service quality has decreased. Orders comes in late and nothing works right. On another hand deliveries start getting slow and horrible. Sometimes will take weeks to get a load of anything at the job site.
I had a great assistance with an employee her name was Meg. She was very informed on hardware. However I tried to give her good feedback from the receipt and the user ID and password for invalid I don’t know what that’s about. However I had a great experience and I will always go to this Home Depot.
Garden DepartmentMy beautiful Melanin thumb has a shade of green to it thanks to my Plant Guru & HDs Garden Department & their helpful employees. Finally, Ive finished staging my patio & was looking for faux plants. Why? Well, I can buy, vase & upkeep a beautiful, colorful bouquet of flowers any day. Yet with plants, its not happening as I was never one to keep plants alive hence anti-plants. However, after my second visit to a friends house aka a Plantae Greenhouse, it piques my curiosity. As soon as I mentioned I could be open to purchasing a few starters plants, our impromptu visit to the Garden Department yielded me a cart full of indoor/outdoor plants with a few accompanied necessities.I spoke with two employees who shared their insight & passion for plants, which gave me different perspectives on becoming & enjoying being a planter. Not to mention the care cards that are stuck in the soil, how useful those mini-instructions become. My Plants 101 visit was a good one & I recommend this location not only for the greenery, yet for the friendly service from the orange aprons passing by.
Tried to rent a truck. Put a reservation in 2 weeks in advance. They didn’t have the truck when I came to pick it up. An hour later, I said I’d take a smaller one. He said it’s ready to go, just needs some air in the back tire. Drive it to the tool rental and I’ll put some air in it. The guy disappeared and shows up 30 minutes later with an air pump but couldn’t find the right nozzle. I’ve been here an hour and a half and he still hasn’t filled up the tire. NEVER COMING BACK HERE! It’s the worst run rental department I have ever seen. Good luck getting an early start with moving.
I bought this 6 mil transparent plastic online the pictures showed it being clear, what I picked up wasn’t so I called customer service to see if I got the wrong box or if this was clear she told me she couldn’t help the only thing for me to do was come in return it buy another take it home and reopen it- after she was obviously not in the customer service mood I asked to talk to her manager and she hung up. I feel like Home Depot stole this money from me and no one can or will help. Pass hard I guess I’ll go to Lowe’s? Idk all these companies treating their employees poorly during a pandemic have made shopping a nightmare! Home Depot STILL has my money for this shoddy marketing job “clear/transparent” plastic and it’s the workers and customers that suffer!!! 0/10
Never use them for home improvement projects. As a store, theyre fine. I tried to have a window installed and after 4.5 months and multiple failed attempts (one times they scheduled when the warehouse was closed, then they broke the window), I cancelled the whole thing. They offered to reorder the window at a discount, but since my bathroom is currently being renovated, I cant wait for them to make another window. Nor should I have to. I got my money back, but what a waste of time. Ill pay someone else probably a little more to actually install a window.
Went in this location to just pick up an air filter for my place and a 9v battery for the fire alarm. I found everything I needed with ease. The employees were so helpful and the bathroom was actually nice enough for me to powder my nose..though I had to walk a mile to find it on the other side of the store.lol I like the shopping center its located in because there is a Starbucks, a Thai restaurant, and many other useful places one might have to frequently visit. We all know Home Depot is a wonderland for curious eyes who want to do it themselves. Oh and I actually learned to cut tiles at this location thanks to a very helpful employee suggesting a tile cutter and a YouTube video.😂 I rock cutting tiles now for design clients. Worth it!
The first injustice was the electric scooter was dead and not even plugged up. I had to plug it up and wait for it to charge up some before I could shop. I ask one of the workers to see if there was another one on the other side twice before he went to see. I had to ask 2 other people to help me get a piece of plywood to have it cut. Finally I got help and had to keep cutting the scooter off to keep it charged enough to check out. The young man who cut my plywood, the cashier, and the young men who loaded it in the van was very nice, professional, and eager to help. Thanks to them my experience was a little more tolerable. Manager needs to make sure the scooters are plugged up after every use so special needs can shop as needed. Thanks.
You can shop here and solve a variety of home projects and other things. But they are not leading in the customer service Buckhead location is not the best location for me. I had a few bad experiences there. I am a gardener and I purchased Miracle-Gro potting soil that was infected with fungus snat 🪰. It took me 6 months to get them out of my 🏡 home. Bad annoying unwanted situation. They did let me return it but I had to fight those fungus for over 6 months.
Using the home depot website, I was able to find exactly what I needed straight away. Still, there were several very friendly and eager-to-help associates who offered to assist me throughout the store and on every aisle and turn! The open, fast, organized checkout areas completed my visit very pleasantly. Very well-run and customer-focused
I absolutely had to write a review expressing the awesome service I received from Steven this afternoon. He has the best customer service! He was so helpful with my needs and even helped me to my vehicle with my purchase. He is definitely a keeper. Great job Steven thank you so much!
Nice location when you are working in downtown Atlanta. I was able to find what I needed without any problems using The Home Depots app. The employees were friendly and helpful as well. The only problem I have with their stores is they always tempt me to buy more than what I came for.
Plan on an afternoon in line at this Home Depot. It’s not busy but they only have one associate at the customer service counter. The assistant manager was 10 feet away reorganizing the display of hand sanitizer cause I’m sure in managing a store the display should look wonderful and it doesn’t matter customers stand in line for 47 minutes and not one associate in that store said hello, thank you or can I help you. This store is an absolute embarrassment to this stores brand . So if you can avoid by all means don’t go and waste time cause your really irritating the associates
Horrible customer service. Purchased a GE Refrigerator from them with a deliver set for the following Saturday. Not only did they not show up Saturday they rescheduled for the next day and didn’t show up Sunday as well. No calls. No concerns. See Home Depot outsources their deliveries to a company that they can not contact or demand better service. So when you call and say where are my appliances they say we can’t do anything it’s out of our hands. With a hefty amount of attitude as well. I was informed that they couldn’t deliver my appliance until the next Saturday a week later and that there was nothing they could do because they could not “displace “ other ( I guess more valued) customers on the delivery list. I was displaced twice, not informed where my delivery was, and now will not do business with them ever going forward. I very much recommend if you want appliances delivered on time you shop elsewhere.Update: Canceled my order Monday with the manager. Still no reimbursement. I spoke with someone at the store who said my order number doesn’t work and they did not cancel the order. Now I am trying to get reimbursed and no one knows why the order is not cancelled. What a mess this is because of incompetence of Home Depot.Update 2: after canceling my order twice over a week ago... this weekend they tried to deliver the refrigerator. The shipping service said they never heard from Home Depot and didn’t know the order was canceled. I have been waiting for reimbursement for over a week now. Again no urgency and no concern from anyone at Home Depot. They have held a large sum of money this extended period and I have called now 4 times with no returned calls.
No return. Ordered a dishwasher. Trusted the salesperson that it was the right model. No one informed me this had no return option, even with a restocking fee Opened the package and its not the model I thought I had ordered. 1 star to Bosch for using model numbers that are all the same except for one or two letters
Let me be perfectly candid here. This was a very busy time when I went in at 5:30 at night. Most people were getting off of work. The staff was overwhelmed and no one was available to help me. The worst part was, I couldnt find my way around the store. I really didnt need much help. I just needed to wear certain times were located so I could complete my shopping and move on. The app is absolutely worthless. Ill stick to a Home Depot where at least I know where everything is located around the store. Moving from one for store to another with different layouts is absolutely impossible.
I bought a lot of packing supplies from here like cardboard boxes in all sizes and strength and related items. They keep a lot of staff so there is always someone to guide and assist the customers. I am highly impressed by the employees sense of customer service as they take complete time to find the thing a customer is looking for from any corner of the store, helps them with options and utility. No wonder it is a popular store for ages for many and the company has done well over the time. There is a consistency in service level across the stores.
One of the few merchants who is all about pleasing the customer .. contractor or not it seems to be very important that the customer is happy and gets their way. And trust me that I have seen them break their own rules to go along with an individuals standards and thats rare.Last year was taxing on everyone and it was same look on everybodys face ... social distancing sounds like a (eastern European hvy metal band) Regardless of it being the right thing to do (which was in question and also that Ga was highest amount of covid cases in spite of) .... Customer service any type of appreciation or even empathy sadly had become very scarce. Im Electrician going to peoples houses, places of business and manufacturing facilities. In nearly 40 yrs working in Ga and all up and down East Coast from Bradenton, Miami Key West, Fl to Dallas Bismarck, North Dakota, Buffalo Tennessee Boston, Mass (just last 5yrs leaving off a few places. Everywhere suffered they were all much less than polite. The Home Depot in Buckhead, ATL immediately came into critical mode following all the rules concerning an international crisis. I felt safe there only. I have to go to get supplies as much as 3 or even 4x a day. Slowed way down almost to a stop it even full reverse. So the HD had a system that only made things go lighten fast for people like me. One went out and one goes in. They were in sync and very polite and apologetic walked with me all the way to the product listening to my rantings or answering questions with their full attention. (now I know thats good security as well) but it didnt hurt nothing to be nice to me. It kind of seemed like they knew it like they were one of us.The virus only strengthened their commitment to focus on the customer.Thank you Home Depot in Buckhead ATL
Every once in awhile you might have the pleasure to work with some body who goes above and beyond on your behalf. Today I had that experience with Erika at this store, she went above and beyond to help me find a product with the help of a gentleman in tools. If I could give her 10 stars I would. This experience earned my loyalty.
Nate Edwards was the person assisting us today, he went beyond the regular job. He was fantastic and make all the problems related to the tools and the fact the tools in the store would not address all my expectations, so he explained me and thought me. Also helped me to get a tool that would not break my budgetWe need more employees like Nate!
I have no idea how its this place as a business. But, whoever runs this place has to be in jail for disturbing the peoples peace and noise disturbing. Do these people know about the noise control ordinance in Atlanta? How cant be possible to cut off an alarm for 8 hours? This its not the first time! Do these ppl understand they are in a residential area?We went to talk to them to see what was happening and asked if it was possible to turn off the freaking thing. And the great answer? Well, sorry you would have to still sleep with the alarm because the manager is not here. So basically, was something like this (we dont care about the families and children around us who cant sleep for our noise)
Wow! It was such a irritating day on a Wednesday when I came into this store. I met this young lady who was very very helpful in the garden area. But I think she was just cashier or so (her name was Cynthia). We had a delightful conversation. She told me her story that everything she does is for her family. She helped look for plants and other things as well. She took her sweet time and went on her phone to look for the items I was looking. it looked like she was in hurry, but I loved that she took her time to help me with certain stuff. Her energy is perfect it brightened my day. Her Customer Sevice is excellent she also helped me load my plants to my car with this other gentlemen. This young lady maybe 19 or in her 20’s her mood is always energetic, helpful, extravagant, and also polite. But she made sure I had everything I needed. But she deserves more. I am glad I met her. Can’t wait to see more of her cheerful and bubbly face. Furthermore, I will definitely come and see her more often.
I am not used to Home Depot staff being eager to help, but that is what happens here. How refreshing. There were no less than 4 people who asked if I needed help. If all HDs were like this one, theyd knock out their competition in 5 years or less. Would have given 5 stars if I didnt trip on dried concrete near the lumber canopy and having to navigate the long line of cars picking up Xmas trees.
Rented a flatbed for quick furniture move. Pick up was super quick and drove away within 10 min. Brought back within 75 min window. $21 +/-. Just provided DL, CREDIT CARD, and PROOF OF INSURANCE. They hold a $150 deposit and rental fees are deducted. Great service. Highly recommend.*NOTE it would get expensive for anything more than a quick project- so pay attention to the clock- $22/hr after initial 75 min.
I spend a ton of time in this store, and have always had great interactions with the employees. People go above and beyond to help! Larry in the lumber department specifically has been a wonderful help. Also, the checkout ladies deserve a special shout out! They are ALWAYS wonderful.
I love the home depot. I love it for the people, the color orange, and the can get it done attitude of the team! In 2010 I spent $4,700 on mulch for my garden at this location. I loved it so much! I love to visit this home depot 2-5 times a weekend. Today Marcus Allen helped me get screw out of my sink disposal. He went above and beyond. I would love to retire and get a job here. It is so cool all the awesome things they have. The most exciting is when they have a sale on Mulch. Thank you the Home Depot Team for a great Product and service with all my home projects. I am a really bad handyman, but the home depot makes me feel like I am great!
This Home Depot gives excellent service. There are many employees here to advise and to assist you with all your needs. The garden department has a wide variety of flowering plants and shrubbery available for immediate take home so that you can have fun playing in the dirt once again.I found a good selection of tomato plants for you to nourish In preparing for your spring and summer backyard extravaganza of good old fashioned eating until you are stuffed.I highly recommend this Home Depot. You will not be disappointed.
Spacious store. Well maintained. They have good collection of lighting, Refrigerator and washing machine. They also sell varieties of plants needed for gardening..They also have good choice of kitchen wardrobe on display. They also have variety of tiles and products needed in bathroom.
Safe shopping experience with appropriate protections during lockdown.Much better than Wages Road (Decatur) store. Many employees for most part being very helpful and keeping a safe distance. However having stocking supplier in garden area blocking aisle during store hours was annoying, Many employees wearing masks- why not all? Hand sanitizer at entrance but not at checkout. Bring protection for touch screens!
I shop at hardware stores a lot. I have not had such a bad experience as I did at the Lindbergh home depot in a long time. I went in around 11 am and all the brand ambassadors were there trying to do their displays which was not the issue. The issue came when a certain group of said ambassadors decided to intercept the employee I had asked to be paged over to help me find something. Apparently he assumed they had asked him to be paged and never came back after helping them. I ended up leaving as no one was of any help and I knew Amazon had the part and could get it to me in a day or two.
I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to in my life. We ordered blackout shades to be installed from them and it has been 3 weeks and absolutely nothing has happened. We have paid over $750.00 for them to be custom cut and absolutely nothing has happened. We have been lied to on 4 separate occasions. I have stayed home from work on two days when they were supposed to come do measurements and they JUST DIDN’T SHOW UP!!! NO CALL OR ANYTHING!!! We have had to physically walk into the store to have any sort of communication about our project. It’s been awful. I wouldn’t wish this misery on my worst enemy. We still have no idea if we are even going to get what we ordered. At this rate I have a feeling they’ve just taken our money. There’s a bunch of employees over there who could literally just care less. I’ve been promised so many times in the store “we will call first thing in the morning.” NOPE. NEVER. NOT ONCE. We will NEVER be returning to Home Depot. We just want our project to be finished so we can wash our hands of This horrible mess. They are not running any sort of business over there. This is a joke. Also the store is horrible. It took them over an hour to figure out how to print my receipt. It’s just a bunch of idiots over there. THIS IS THE WORST STORE IN THE WORLD. DO NOT GO THERE. You have been warned. AND DEFINITELY DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH ANY SORT OF MEASUREMENTS OR ANY SORT OF PROJECT. IT WILL NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER GET DONE. WE LITERALLY HAVE 750.00$ MISSING AND NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT AND NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHING. Idiots.
Worst customer service and experience at this store. Its been more than a month and after 3 days off from work... still not all of my kitchen appliances are installed. We bought all new stainless steel kitchen appliances. Home Depot just doesnt take care of things that they are supposed to do. The stress of going back and forth on calls with the customer service and the frustration of everyone saying, it will be done today... tomorrow... next week, and nothing happens is too much to take on for appliances.
Another bad experience with horrible Home Depot customer service at the Buckhead store located at Piedmont & Sidney Marcus We waited over 20 minutes and could not get any employee to help us. At one point we walked up to a group of employees who were standing around and chit chatting with each other and asked if we could get help buying some Astroturf. One employee just said that was not their department Without offering to help find someone. I asked if she could find an employee to go over to that department and we have been here for 20 minutes with no help and that other employees already said it wasn’t their department and gave us no help finding. Someone. She said rudely “do you want me to find someone or not?” I said yes. Nobody came over to help us. We left to go to Lowe’s and ACE Hardware store where they are more customer service oriented.
This store is big and typically busy. I like to go about 7:30-8pm. They close at 9pm which is earlier than other locations that dont close til 10pm. However this limits my time there and maybe Ill spend less. Wishful thinking. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and usually easy to find to ask questions. They recently updated all the checkout stations to be self checkout with a scanning tool. I like it, and if you need help there are a few members up there ready and willing to assist.
The garden staff is so unfriendly. i went around the garden area looking for a lily and one of the staff members outside stated “i don’t know, somewhere inside”. and walked off. one of the staff members inside of the garden area didn’t know either. is the staff there only to restock??? just know that i walked out without a lily and not being a returning customer. no one would help me and i clearly looked lost.
I purchased a washer, dryer and refrigerator at this location. After my purchases, a time and date was set for delivery. The first delivery attempt was a disaster. I waited all day until the evening. The delivery drivers arrived 2 hours late. Once they arrived at 7:45 PM they refused to delivery my items because a car was parked on the side of my home. Keep in mind that their truck was also parked on the side of my home. The two delivery drivers were completely lazy and did not even attempt the delivery. The next delivery was set up via the store manager. Disaster number 2. The dryer was damaged during the delivery so I had to schedule another delivery date. I contacted the Buckhead store and spoke with an assistant manager Hosea. Hosea dropped the ball and did not follow up. I contacted the delivery company and schedule another delivery. I also stopped by the store to speak with Hosea in person. Hosea stated that he thought he had followed up. This is not acceptable. Customer service should be their number one priority. Im upset at this point because I purchased my items early December and we are well into the new year and Im still without my appliances. The 3rd delivery was set up and again no items. THE 4th delivery is scheduled and I call the delivery company the night before to get a delivery window. The delivery company advised me that Im on the schedule however my appliances never made it on the truck so I technically dont have a delivery time. I called Home Depot corporate to file a complaint. Corporate opened up an investigation. Lets just say this was a complete joke. Home Depot stated that they would compensate me for my time and take something off my purchase but I order for this to occur, I had to schedule another delivery and have the items delivered. Keep in mind they could not discuss any terms of their compensation until I had the items delivered. The delivery company called to schedule a 5th delivery . AT this point I was not willing to waste my time with another delivery attempt and requested for a full refund. Home Depot is very unprofessional as well as their delivery company. Do not waste your hard earn money here. I cancelled my items and went to Lowes. Customer service was excellent . The sales rep called and confirmed my orders and the delivery company also called to confirm my delivery. I items were delivered about 5 days after I purchased them. If you want great customer service do not support this company. Take your money elsewhere.
This stop at The Home Depot rounded out my buying of seasonal herbs and vegetables for my garden. The plants at this Home Depot always look great compared to the Midtown location. There is always a good crowd here shopping. The store is always well staffed, so there is seldom a problem with the lines being overly long. And the times that I have needed help, there was always someone available to assist. This store is well out of the way from where I live, but I take the time to drive up here, knowing that it is such a well managed store.
I have definitely had issues in the past with this location. I think the main issue was under staffing and lack of specialization of those staffed. Ive had my fair share of waiting around and not getting a feeling that they were experts. However, in the last 2 visits, they have definitely stepped up their game. I hope its not temporary for an increase of summer activity. Both times Ive visited, Ive been helped tremendously. I hope the manager reads this, but I had a very specific question about fixing my ceiling lamp. Ira came by and not only looked closely at my photos to help determine the part, but he opened boxes of different products so we could determine if the part I needed even came with it and possibly to identify if that singular part I needed. The next visit I was greeted at the door and pointed exactly where to find my part. Will continue to visit this location.
We were looking at updating our carpets and this Home Depot is just wonderful, Carol Holton at the carpet installation section went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the install, she was very informative and has a wealth of experience in carpet installation. Great customer service.
This is the BEST Home Depot Ive ever shopped in, and Ive hit many around the country. Moving across country and settling in a new home, of course, necessitates a trip or two to Home Depot. One of my chief complaints about the mega hardware stores is lack of prompt customer service. Not so here! The employees were extremely quick to assist me as I moved around various departments and very knowledgeable of their inventory. They were also very friendly and courteous. It was a great welcome to Atlanta!
This the only Home Depot, out of 3 that visited lately, where I was able to get help with my plumbing problem. The associate was not even from the Plumbing department, yet he was able to give me the proper advice & recommended the parts & tools which were needed. He was professional & courteous.People @ the Doraville & Lawrenceville Hwy stores were useless.
In General its what you expect from a Home Depot. I only wish there was more staff cause if you have a question, prepare yourself for an expedition to find the right person to answer it.. So only 3 stars cause its Home Depot, so I am pretty sure they can afford additional staff. Especially on the weekend...
Home Depot is sometimes a fun place to shop. We needed a light socket plug for some outdoor Halloween decorations. That was easy. When about to leave, we checked out the Halloween decorations and noticed they had the last one of its kind but it was a floor model. I wasnt impressed with the percent discount they offered because it was a floor model. Maybe next time.
I would have given Home Depot and this location 4-5 stars a few years ago, but not after buying our washer and dryer from them. Literally the worst customer experience structure I have ever dealt with, and thats having paid for the extended warranty coverage. Our new washer broke after owning it for a week and weve had nothing but issues with it and the dryer since. Each time we go through their horrible, disconnected service program and deal with the same issues. A minimum of 15 minutes on hold before speaking to a sale associate at any given time, disconnected warranty coverage program, very hit or miss service people.... The list of complaints goes on. Cant say enough, do not but an appliance from them.
The Piedmont Road Home Depot is definitely the best Home Depot in town the service the selection and just the overall competency of the staff is great. Ive gone to a lot of other Home Depots and Lowes and have been very disappointed and misled with bogus information about products. I made a large purchase at Lowes the other day and no one knew anything about the product I was buying and it was pretty pitiful. I will go to the Piedmont Home Depot even though its out of the way for me just for the service that I get there
This is the second store for DIY materials. Much time had been spent online comparing prices and identifying in stock availability. Mixing and matching materials were the results. Store lighting is adequate and isles are debris free. What is unique? The online website will highlight the isle and bay number of searched item. Although Home Depot has a large selection online, the more stocked items are readily available after you select pick up from store. Self checkout lines are faster and wait times can be up to five minutes. Garden has a variety of annuals and perrenials. Discounted/discontinued products are in each department. In-store shopping experience has advantages.
Went to customer service to check out. The cashier LISA was on the phone. Not in a rush, Ms. Lisa’s then addressed in such a rude way “you stand in line and wait” I was in line and I was waiting as she continued her 10+min conversation. I NEVER had an experience like this and I will not return. I went to customer service to receive CUSTOMER SERVICE not attitude.
Extremely displeased with the installation of our dishwasher (they had to send a second team out) and finding a solution when the company that came to install it scratched our brand new stone floors. I called home depot when the gentleman was installing our dishwasher and told them what happened. After 4 months of filling out paperwork, sending in pictures, writing letters for updates, this fell flat with no recourse to the vendor and home depot did not reimburse us to the damage on our floors.DO NOT expect Home Depot to make it right when a third party damages your home, and DEFINITELY DO NOT let ANYONE from Spirit install wahsers, dryers, or especially dishwashers in your home. They will drag the several hundred pound items across your wood, or stone floors without care or concern.
Dont come here and order a washer and dryer and get it delivered. Youll have nothing but problems. HD will direct you to their 3rd party delivery company who will direct you to the manufacturer just for them to direct you back to HD. Its a nightmare. Its been 4 weeks and still cant wash clothes in my house after paying them $1700. Stay away. Youve been warned! Go to Best Buy!
Very disappointed with JC and Orias who failed to do the right thing today when I returned a rented generator that did not work. Upon turning on the generator, it would not stop smoking and I had to turn it off. When I returned it and informed the store of the problem the first reaction was to blame me for not property working the choke. Of course, no training was given when I rented it not a manual provided, but the knee jerk reaction was to blame me and find a way out of refunding the $68 rental fee.I live walking distance to the Chamblee Lowe’s and still drive 3 miles to Home Depot because of my loyalty to the brand. As of today, I will not do that again. Thank you for encouraging me to change stores.
Home Depot @ Sydney Marcus and Piedmont... is my favorite Home Depot in town!! I’ve been to several other HD locations in the past year while we’ve been remodeling an old house and I feel confident in saying this location is the best one in town!! The staff are super helpful and AVAILABLE to help even when it’s not “their department”.
Im writing this review a little late, but better late than never. As you can see by all the pictures, Home Depot, is all set for the holidaysThey have everything you need for Holiday decorations. Tons of christmas items to decorate, the inside and outside of you home. They have many different display options and inflatables. It was impossible to take a picture of everything. They have lots of live and fake, Christmas trees and every kind of ornaments, youd like for it. Also very good prices on gift items too. Many different gadgets and tool sets, gloves, Copper Fit socks, All in one pocket sets. Too many to name.I hear the Black friday sale is going to be amazing aswll. I definitely recommend stopping by to check everything out. They have a public restroom, wheelchair parking at both doors and wheelchair access too. Not very easy to notice from the two main roads, watch for the sign.If you like my photos and find my review helpful please hit the like.Thank you,Jenna
The Linbergh area is always busy, and this Home Depot is no different. Ive been multiple times and have never walked away from the experience like it was my neighborhood hardware store. Lack of confident and friendly store representatives makes you feel like youre all on your own. I suppose you may get better customer service if youre a contractor and getting ready to spend $10k, but I just needed a couple odds and ends. No service, inconvenient location, and plenty of daily workers are available. Where is the closest Lowes?
Its 30 degrees outside and still the cold months and they didnt have a single portable or electric heater...because of course not. Why would a hardware and appliance store have small appliances? They had humidifiers and air purifiers, but no space heaters. This location is USELESS. They never have any selection of basic things. Went around the entire store multiple times looking for them and not a single associate bothered to help me.
The most incompetent people I have ever had to work with. I ordered a microwave and trim kit from home depot online. Somehow it got messed up in their system and they had to ring it up as an in-store purchase. The microwave comes, its shattered. The trim kit is missing, but says it was delivered as well. It wasnt. We tried to return to the Sandy Springs location as we had ordered it online and it was shattered. They told us we had to go to the Buckhead store since we bought it from there .. even though we BOUGHT IT ONLINE. The Sandy Springs store calls the Buckhead store ... and they proceed to put us on hold for 2 hours . ..... then we finally get the microwave returned and reordered .. but they did not order the trim kit after us telling them NUMEROUS times it had not arrived. Ive been on the phone with them back and forth trying to get an ETA for delivery as were having our kitchen renovated. They cant seem to figure that out either, one associate told me the parts are in stock and coming and another rudely told me that I would not receive them until the 2nd week in February because theyre back ordered. These people are CLUELESS and not ONE person has called me back with an update to sort this out. To make it even better ... a company showed up to pick up the shattered microwave that we returned a week ago! Save your time ... Ive been on the phone with them / in store with them trying to sort this out for over 15 hours at this point. I will not be using them again. I wouldnt recommend you to either. Not ONE manager/employee has offered to make this right for me either, not one. Go to Lowes. Better experience.
This is THE WORST Home Depot I have ever been to in my life. The store is FILTHY, the employees are RUDE, and extremely unhelpful. I will NEVER be returning to the this store. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra 4 minutes to a LOWES. This Home Depot could care less about you or anything in your home. You’ve been warned. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. But if you do, you’ll be searching around for an employee to help you and when you find one they will be RUDE and will likely do everything to recommend the wrong products and will literally go out of their way to make YOUR LIFE MISERABLE. Buyer beware.
We moved to Atlanta and we needed to purchase a washer, dryer and refrigerator. We thought we purchased a washer and dryer but the delivery driver said he had 2 dryers on the truck for us. We had to wait another week for a washer and dryer. We ordered our refrigerator on April 20 but we finally got our refrigerator on July 10. Part of the handle of the refrigerator’s had missing paint. We called Home Depot on the same delivery day and they said, if you called right away we could of done something! We had to call LG who is sending us a new handle. Finally, I could not recommend the credit card either to get the discounts. Home Depot sent the Home Depot credit card to my temporary apartment even though all the delivery addresses was the new house. All I can say is ...”Wow!”
Very nice Home Depot store. I was looking for a specific part for my sink and the guy working in the plumbing section knew exactly what I was referring to and took me right to it. Even took the time to explain a few things I would need to keep in mind when installing it. Cant beat that.
Walking around Home Depot and I can honestly say very unprofessional. I ask a lady for help who stated to me that she doesn’t work here, she’s only a vendor , so she ask me if I needed help and I said yes. So she called for someone and guess what no one came, as I’m looking for someone I see to people who works here in the next lane laughing and talking, one of them had long dreads and was just listening as she was calling for help. I said that cool and went and found someone. Won’t be back 😤😤😤😤. 5/30/18 time 2:36pm and Albert was the only one who help me
I live next to this Home Depot, and they are terrible neighbors. They routinely put their wares in the parking lot or street (wherever they want), and let trucks park in the alley at all hours of the night. In the spring they use their leaf blowers any time after 5am. When you call and ask if they can stop that they say the best they can do is 630am.
I am from out of town and went to HD for plywoodHaving no tools with me I needed some cuts. After requesting help three times and waiting 30 minutes I left and went to Lowes. At Lowes I waited less than 5 minutes, got all the cuts I needed , wasnt charged for any and had a friendly conversation with the saw cut guy.
I was approached by employee name John instead of having to search for someone to help me. John help me purchase a display air compressor and when he could not find the owners manual made a special point to print me one out along with warranty information. Nice to get good customer service for a change.
I visited Home Depot in Buckhead I want to say 10 time in two days working on a project in my home. Albert and Darrius Assisted me and let me say this they were the best. VERRRRRRYYYY Friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks guys you are the best and I really do appreciate you both.... Happy New Year....
Had a very nice experience with John in the electrical department. He answered all of my questions.I had a cupons for 10 % off, did not notice it didnt start until June 28th. Went to the checkout to ask about an override, I was completely ignored.Went to customer service and was told there was no way to override the coupon.Went back to John and he called the store manager to get an ok. It was granted. What a lot of hoops to jump through. Why is it when a customer enters the Home Depot they become invisible? How long will it take before the management and the sales staff realizes the customer pays for their rent and food suplies, not the other way around. This has been going on for years!Oh well some other time. Thanks, Jim
Weird experience. Bought 6 ceiling fans, among other things, and was told I should open a pro account because I would get a discount due to how much I was spending. Then 3 associates hovered around trying to explain why that was a great idea. From there one associate said he would help us the rest of our visit, then take us to the front to register. From there he followed us around, then took us to the front to register for a pro account and to pay. Yet another associate was introduced at this point, and she had me fill out the application for the pro account. After all of that, there was no discount at all, but I now have a pro account. I feel like somebody was just trying to meet a quota for account registration, and I was the lucky sucker...
Original review is below. I dropped one star since yesterday (3/16/19) I purchased pine straw and had to ask 3 different employees in different areas of the store for someone to come out to the trailer to unlock it and give me what I bought. After at least 30 minutes waiting by the trailer with another customer, NO ONE EVER CAME TO HELP US! (For perspective, this was a late Saturday afternoon on one of the first perfect Spring days of the year. Someone, should have been out there ll day long to service the customers.) I decided to check the locks on the doors and one opened. So, we both had to get the pinestraw out of the trailer ourselves and even after loading 17 bales NO ONE EVER CAME TO HELP US! Whoever was supposed to man that post and their supervisor both need to be fired for PROVIDING NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!Decent store, visit it often but usually hard to find anyone to answer questions which can be frustrating.
Ya know. . .its Home Depot. I for one HATE how they make all of them completely different. I shop at several, almost every day, but I never know where to find what I need. . . so it takes twice as long as it should. BUT they always have what i need, so i will be back tomorrow anyway
After speaking with a customer service representative that directed me to their store because they had 12 of the items in stock I placed an order for pick up. Of course I get a call two hours later saying their online count is messed up and they had none available. Being off by one or two I understand but 12? So idk if someone is really failing to do inventory correctly, (Ive worked for HD before) but now my orders been cancelled twice and I have to wait to receive my money.
All I wanted was a 🔑 made. There were 3 employees standing 2 ft from me having a personal conversation and not 1 stopped to offer assistance. 2 other employees walked right pass me while I was saying excuse me can someone put in a code so I can make my key. No help at all. I left!!!
This place has the worst customer service. It took me 15 min to finally get a hold of someone and then they couldnt answer my question about their price match policy which is on their own freaking website. They kept giving me the runaround and would just go MIA without even putting me on hold. After about 20 minutes, I just gave up eventually. Please train employees on your own store policies.
Overall I’d rate this location 5 stars. At first I had a situation that made me highly upset and was introduced to the manager on duty William, and he helped de escalate the situation and converted my visit which originally began as 1 star rating to now leaving feeling impressed with a 5 star rating.
I visited 2 HDP stores kitchen & bath for custom cabinets. And the service , produce info and pricing all a 1. At Midtown reps setting around for hours chating. But you cant get help, dont know the sales or promo info after you make appt. The prices are a ripoff Charge 600.00 for wood only on the front of under the sink cabinet and charge 1000 more for wood on the 3 other sides. Ripoff

2022-07-07The store, in a great location to Pine Hills/Buckhead was well stocked, neat, clean, and well organized. The Lawn and Garden area was packed with plants and plant needs. However, not with what I sought.Customer Service was very busy with a moderate wait. Although a cheerful teammember was able to resolve my issue.Parking is plentiful - although challenging to negotiate or walk through.

2022-05-07On a recent errand run, we quickly found everything we needed! On this late afternoon visit, when customer service can oft be lacking, was pleasantly productive. We found the staff to be kind, helpful, available, and well informed. The store was well stocked and has always felt safe to us on this and our previous visits.

2022-02-23Worst customer service ever even though prices are somewhat good…but what good, a price may be if the people selling you the products are unprofessional, disrespectful…. Just to name two in particular Brandon and Charlotte from customer service at that location they will put you on hold for over 30 minutes, just to be disconnected then simply to start the same process again when I am simply making an inquiry on my delivery ….please be respectful and be efficient and effective in your communication! Nobody forces you to be in customer service, you choose to be in that position of serving your customers so please do so with kindness…. This experience was Quite a nightmare and simply Appalling to me, these last 3 days having to deal with those above employees

2020-08-01This is the most well-lit, inviting, spacious, organized Home Depot Ive ever visited. I nearly thought I was in the wrong store. We found everything we needed for a great value with a smooth checkout. Whether you live in a house, apartment, or van this depot will make it home.

2022-06-13Horrible customer service, you would think after paying over 1k fir oven you wouldn’t be waiting over 45 days and still counting to have it delivered and installed. They literally dropped off an oven, asking where to put it at…ugh! Still not installed one crew with no patience will stop it off and another later date to install. It’s still on the balcony after the installer saying Hone Depot gave him the wrong address to no show the first time followed with an excuse.Shop at LowesWorse experience ever.

2022-05-29Marcus from tool rental is great. Was super helpful in helping me find the right tools for my project and had a fantastic attitude. Great customer service.
