The Home Depot in other cities:
The customer service here is horrendous! They never offer to help you… and when you flag someone down they barely want to assist you or just points in a random direction to where the item might be. There are a lot of side conversations happening amongst staff, instead of helping customers. I waited over 10mins to get a drill unlocked. If you’re not going to be willing and ready to unlock the drills then don’t have them locked up. It’s simple.
One hour. One hour I stood there waiting for the assistant to get done with a customer in appliances. I didnt want to cause a stink but maybe it was my fault that i didnt, but I decided to wait patiently. One. Hour.Waiting all that time for someone to assist with purchasing a product I already knew I was coming to get is UNACCEPTABLE. No one should have to stand there and deal with that. Im only one person and you probably dont care you lost my business but I was not gonna let this slide without letting you know you wasted my valuable time and made a bad day worse. Disgusting.
I tell you as much as I’m in Home Depot you’d think I’d have shares with them lol. Today was just a pleasant experience dealing with Shaquitta…(sorry if i spelled it wrong) i had about $200 in plants and then a few other things, some of things didn’t have barcodes on them which I wasn’t aware, she took the time out to come over and help me locate the items in the system and also locate them in the store. You know a smile can change so much in someone’s life…Home Depot, you guys did a spectacular job when making her a part of the team! I live in Cobb county and would drive over there just to see her and have her put a smile on my face. Thanks
Its a home improvement store. Nothing much to say about it. The things I was looking for here I found almost everything. Two of the workers I asked about a product were sharp and knew exactly where things were and directed me to the correct locations for what I needed, which was a plus (not often this happens these days).Checking out was also smooth and quick. The time I was here was about 45 mins to an hour before the closing and there wasnt any long lines and the woman who checked us out was very kind and also made sure we had what we needed. This was my first time in this location and it was a good experience. I hope other visits here will be the same.
I picked up a curbside order from here a few days ago and had the best experience ever from any Home Depot. Mr. Larry brought my order to my car with a big smile and was so kind. He truly made my day. He is an absolute pleasure and someone to treasure. Great job Home Depot! Thank you so much Mr. Larry!
The saving grace for this visit was the young lady who finally came from the back (she has long blond braids & periwinkle nail polish) to help in the paint dept. (Not her dept at all)No one was in the dept, there were 3 of us waiting at least 20 minutes...we all asked several associates to call someone for assistance (I asked 4 associates myself). No one ever made that announcement & one guy said Ill be right back to never return. Very frustrating to say the least...u want to stay in your neighborhood to spend money but this doesnt help. She had a line when I left and I hope someone came to assist her.
Ghost depot. I asked 2 employees to call for assistance at aisle 26( doors). The first one called on a device and no one came. Flagged down a second guy and he got on the phone intercom and I could hear over the system the request for assistance at aisle 26 and still no one came so we left. Guess I will have to see if Lowes is any better. Home Depot(Ghost Depot is a joke! Years ago I used to love to go there but not anymore. They changed their business model and it stinks! To top it off you become an employee at checkout after doing it yourself at THE DIY STORE 😎
Ive bought several items ..over the years from this location. This time Ive bought items for my kitchen renovation. After the kitchen was completed I had items extra items that wasnt opened. I take these item back to the store for a refund or store credit come to my surprise I cant get neither because I dont have a receipt.
Ill say there are hardworking sells associates there. But they seem to lack associates at the cash register slowing down checkout. They could use the associates walking down the isles I guess providing helpful hints at checkout. But the ones that are helpful they are very much so. Showing you were hard to find items in the store are, those helpful associates almost make up for the slow checkout Ive often experienced during busy hours.
If you enjoy walking around aimlessly looking for an employee for help and adding to your step count - let me tell you this is not the place for you. I have never received such upstanding customer service at a Home Depot in the metro Atlanta area. Friendly and helpful! My mind was blown. My neighborhood Home Depot could never so this one is my new home Home Depot.
Not enough help at the checkout points and they need better service with assisting people with products. For the most part you have to go in and find things on your own and theres just a lack of service. I think this is more a reflection on the management the upper echelon of Home Depot as opposed to the local people that work for Home Depot. Since this post they appear to be getting a little better with accountability and putting people and places that will help assist and give you a better customer experience.
I would love to say that my neighborhood Cascade store was helping to keep my money circulating in my neighborhood but that would be a lie.Today, December 10, 2021, my children and I, waited an hour for someone, even a manager, to come trim and load our Christmas tree. Our cashier Ms. Charlanda (I pray I spelled her name correctly), made several calls for help but to no avail. Shes stressed that I had already been waiting over 30 minutes for a manager or someone to come and load a tree that I had already paid for. But no one came. After an hour of waiting TJ finally came. He was on his lunch break and was rushed to the garden to help do a job that several other people were able to do but refused. I watched as several other customers walked in fortree attempted to wait got tired and walked out. But I could not because I had already paid for my tree. Before Mr TJ arrived, my son a 13 year old boy had to struggle and carry my tree to the table for trimming because Home Depot managers or any other supervisor refused to come. Unfortunately this is why people drive to the other side of town to get better service because apparently our neighborhood store does not care. Thank you to Ms. Charlanda for trying. She bought us sodas because we waited so long. She deserves whatever bonus the manager on duty was supposed to get.
Customer service was great, we was help quickly, when we checked out at self check out the manager over the checkout wa sc very Pleasant and courteous making sure we understood how to use self checkout. Her name he is Maceoll, keep her in the company because she has good customer service skills. I want to give her a recommendation for a job well done. Thanks again Mr. Chellers
Home Depot service level really depends on which location you go to. Campcreek customer service, 4 days of hours being In the store and no body knowing how to sell a shed, Washer, Dryer and insulation machine rented that doesnt work... simply horrible one Star experience. On the flip side Ive been to other locations and its been fine. So, idk maybe more training for camp creek.
I recently visited the Home Depot location off of cascade road for a DIY project. I was came across an employee by the name of Trip. Although the DIY was unfamiliar to him, he provided great customer service with measurements and suggestions on the materials o needed how to proceed. I hope his managers and store owners see this because he made my DIY experience amazing
My 3rd time at this location for plywood and the saw is down AGAIN!Went to bath section. Employee not from there cant help and sends announcement for assistance. No one comes. 17 minutes later we go to find help. Guy says be right with you... 13 minutes later no show. Find someone else. Not his section. 11 minutes later WE find someone. Not happy.Edit: Still not happy
I’ve never had a positive experience with this Home Depot and feel compelled to inform customers not to purchase from this store. I’ve waited over an hour twice now when purchasing orders online for items that were in stock neither time was I provided an update online. Few employees are willing to help with the majority of employees either rude or unwilling to help because they haven’t been “trained” to do that. Please consider an alternative location. I love the west side but that is horrible.
I shopped around for about 20 minutes in the appliance part waiting for someone to come finally the other customer that was there went and looked for someone and they came back with the guy.I stood there for like 15 more minutes waiting to see if someone else might come or he was done and he did come over to look at something and I asked was he the only one.. he was like yeah ...then somebody else walked up and he said I can help you and then the other guy said Im the only person working over here. But this guy just said he could help me so what is the problem. Now I really dont want the new guy to help me because the other guy didnt want the new guy to help me because he still said give me a few minutes and when Im done with them Ill be over here.Like Im trying to get a washer and dryer. I need some expertise here. Some real knowledge. So I just left and went to Brandsmart. I got what I needed andddddd they gave me their credit card.
Awful customer service. Came here for the first time and I politely asked a staff member to help me find a specific item I was looking for. She looked at me like she couldn’t be more bothered and said she didn’t know what I was asking. We will take business elsewhere. You lost a big sale and any future business.
If you need curbside. Don’t.I’ve tried curbside four times and each time I’m waiting in my car for over 30 minutes with no one coming out after checking in on the app. Then, if you call to tell them you’re waiting on your order, good luck because they don’t answer the phone.
Worst home Depot ever!! They dont have hardly any materials and the customer service is aweful!! Quicker to look it up yourself as the associates are worthless..... Can travel to vinnings home Depot, grab the things that you dont carry, and return before my coworker got through the line..... Must be the spot to get day laborers not materials. The parking lot was full
I purchased a water heater and supplies for 661.00 on 5/3/21. I asked the cashier (Yesenia) for a person to load the water heater and she repeated several times just go outside and someone will help you. I stated to the cashier why I need to look for help versus someone coming to the cashier station to assist me. Another female employee alledged to be a supervisor approached me with the same message go outside and an employee will assist you but with negative attitude. I asked to speak to a manager and no one ever came. Well I found an employee (young and slim) to help me load the water heater with a good attitude but he mistakenly pull the tailgate out of it alignment. I would have rated this experience a ZERO, but the associate that help me select the water heater did a great job.
I just had a wonderful experience in the tool rental/repair department. I came in with a six month old Toro self-propelled lawnmower that wouldn’t start. MOSES Came to the rescue. He was able to take a quick look at it and not only solved and fixed the problem but educated me on how to better care for the mower.MOSES was delightful and a pleasure to work with!!!Thank you MOSES 😃
Its sa that in your own neighborhood the customer service level is so low! The line to customer service is always a 45min+ wait. The store associates treat you horrible as if you owe them something! Its say that I can drive to another side of town and get the best service ever! This is becoming or has become the new norm is our community. But as long as Im spending my hard earned money! Ill demand my respect.
This applies to most Homedepots. They have changed a lot and not for better. You used to get great customer service but now you have to chase an associate to get help and when you get one to talk to, you feel like youre bothering them. Clearly, theyre not happy.Today, at this location, while were still dealing with Corona and while they stop you at the door and ask you to wear mask, there was no hand soap or bath tissues! An example of mismanagement and simply not caring. Then, there was a female associate who asked us if theres some tissues at mens room to take to ladies room. True story!
I love this Home Depot! The entire staff is AMAZING! Sham and Toya in customer service. Nancy at the Pro Desk. Greg in paint always takes care of us. Marcus in the cabinet section is sooooo helpful. Even the store manager Cornelius is beyond helpful land very visible in the store. This is by far the best Home Depot in Atlanta.
Easy. I love this place. I went in for a Drain and got really caught up in home improvement projects. 😂🤣 It is di easy to do. I actually had like 15 drain choices to choose from. Then of course I have to look at the garden area. Again, I love Home Depot and can spend hours in there.
Took me a while to find someone to assist with finding products to help keep the snakes away. Finally a gentleman who was helping another customer noticed the help me look while I was walking around and offered help. Found the products and he even made a few suggestions.
Placed an order for will call to be picked up at 4pm. I arrived and was told “they ain’t pulled it”. So that leaves me standing at customer service now for 43 minutes waiting. I asked a manager and her response was “we don’t have the staff, sometimes orders are pulled on time and sometimes they are not”. However, I noticed multiple employees just standing around.
This 5 star rating goes out specifically to TJ Roach. I was very frustrated that my Samsung Fridge delivery and order were cancelled(no fault of TJ or this location) without my knowledge. To make it worse I hadn’t been notified or given a refund, I was calling to check on status and that’s when I found out.I called the corporate line and was told to go to the store I purchased the fridge and they’ll get me a replacement.Long story short TJ spent a few hours with me in store and on the phone(the next two days without me knowing) to help get it resolved.Very personable, honest, pleasure to work with, amazing customer service, made a horrible experience a great one.
Horrible experience. Went in for a Dewalt Blower they had priced at $179.00 asked employee did they price match and he stated no. Then I asked to speak with the manager Maude who was extremely rude. She stated they dont price match competitors price nor their own website which also listed it for cheaper. While all of this is going on Im looking at my phone and on their website it states they price match competitors you need an ad photo or print out. She also didnt even wanna take a look at what I was trying to show her. None the less I left they lost $250 in sales for $15 bucks. Thanks Manager Maude
The store doesn’t even deserve one star. The worst Home Depot ever. Nobody there to help you’ll be wandering around four 10-15 minutes. They’re not helpful at all in the attitude oh my God... it feels like you’re bothering him when he’s trying to get help. Done with your time coming to this store.
I used to work at this location 1997 to 2009. And it was a lot of fun, for a job. But when I go in todays Home Depot, Im not in a good place. No floor employees makes eye contact, no one says hello, how are ya, sup? Nothing, unless you horse collar em while they try to walk past you. Its almost like the floor employees are scared to help you. I know they are trained in the departments, and given product knowledge classes. Some even have hands on working experience. Theres no excuse for this. The store manager needs to retrain or train his associates and stop making like everything is ok with their customer service. It stinks.
If theres a star less than 1 Id gladly give it to this store. I understand that masks have a certain need. Im someone who has badly scared lungs. And cant wear a mask without seriously having trouble breathing. I had a young lady who works at the self checkout tell me. That I couldnt use the self checkout because I am not wearing a mask. I told her I was unable to due to my lungs. She demanded that I leave. I used the self checkout and another young lady said that I have to wear a mask. I told tge second young lady I was told by my medical doctor to not wear one.
You can find almost anything you need for your home here. If you have trouble finding that elusive item, the associates are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They can always direct you to whatever you are looking for or give you advice on whatever project you are planning or working on.
They have a bunch of employees that dont want to work. You cant pay with cash in there. Self check out dont tale cash. I was told to go to customer service then they sent me back to self checkout. I just put all my stuff back and walked out. I ran into about 6 employees and not one said “ ill check you out”. They jus pretty much shu you away.
My visit to your store wasnt very good. I was trying to buy paint. It was very hard to get someone to help and when we did the clerk wasnt very helpful he was very rude and appeared to be high are something. The other person when we tried to ask him brushed past like he didnt really want to be bothered. I dont think I will be back.
Ive been to this particular location on several occasions because its closest to my home. As long as you dont ask for assistance the experience is great because no one knows anything. I have to travel to a location twice as far if I know that Im going to need assistance. Thats not good.
Mark and Byron are very helpful.🥰BUT, When seeking assistance from other employees they will respond by saying “that’s not my department or I can’t help you” some have blatantly refused to assist with loading when they are called upon repeatedly by other people that are working in the store. Instead of huddling up and talking they should be walking around assisting the customers. Also supplies are very very limited. They don’t carry simple things like bird food and compost! Some of their prices are higher than the Cumberland store too! This store needs a culture make over and needs to stop discriminating by not probing what customers are asking for!
Again, this is a home depot and it gets the same review as the one before this...There is not enough help in all the home depots.Hire some dang people...Maybe if the owner of this chain would stop wasting money on the lame falcons then he could hire more and better help.
My experience at this location was terrible! From the manager Guy and his dismissive response, to Stephanie who was working at the self check out today. She was an older woman, that when I asked for her assistance her sarcastic unwillingness to help attitude was rude and unwarranted. Her response to my question regarding the receipt saying will call on the bottom for a grill I was purchasing that I would need to come back and pick up due to assembly was very i don’t know and I don’t care to assist you. I was directed by customer service that I could self check out, however I could not. The entire experience was draining and frustrating because when I got back to customer service Patti did not know what she was doing, and my transaction took so long for me to get the correct receipt. I would not recommend this location, they clearly don’t have it together, and the pandemic has absolutely nothing to do with the lack of knowledge or training.
The absolute worst !!!!! I waited for over an hour, to get an associate to help me with getting a storage container from the top shelf. Three associates passed and no one wanted to help me ,the last associate that I asked was very rude and flat out told me NO I CANT HELP YOU . Long story short, I eventually found a step ladder and got the container down myself.
Tho under staffed a bit. The location is kept clean and orginized.organized. Several departments tho are short in stock of items tho for more than 2 weeks at a time. Lumber selection is their weakness here. Lowes in College park Pkwy area is better selection easier to find correct items for home improvement. Plaster board, wood , as well other construction items. The Home Depot tho in general is still worth the trip.
Getting better, still needs help but I see the improvement in staff and management, more classes for the staff, they need to know more about the department that they cover, if they dont know the answer say that, I get sick of going home with the wrong part and having to come back cause a staff member said this would work.
I love THD but having a terrible experience today trying to rent a skid steer... the employees apparently lost the keys to unlock the heavy equipment and their communication is horrible. Have been waiting for an hour on a 4 hour rental. Was left to continually follow up with the staff to finally understand the key was lost. Not sure how to fix a lost key other than better tracking management. Waste of time
I rarely use the word HATE! But I really HATE this store! ZERO Customer service. The customer service/ return line was out the door and the customer service representatives seemed like they could care less. There were a lot of employees on the floor but they were chatting amongst themselves and not really seeking customers to assist. There are just some things I have to get from Home depot or Lowes but honestly Im spoiled with the customer service I get at ACE HARDWARE. I understand that ACE stores are a lot smaller but its the attention to the customer that makes them great. When will Home Depot get it?
I asked a lady if someone could help with some light bulbs and the lady told me someone electric will have to help never once making eye contact then I had to ask if she could radio someone. She said nothing started to walk away. Then yelled at me and argued with me about if she was going to help me she said she was but still very rude. I was about to buy 2500 light bulbs also my company uses Home Depot for all of supplies which adds up to about 750k a year after going to Home Depot I am gonna start looking around for a different supplier. I refuse to be treated this way at any establishment but especially when I pay them a lot every year. So just so you know this store just cost you all 3/4 of million a year maybe you all should spend more time teaching your employees how to treat customers. Cause you just lost one today!!!!
I continue to visit this store during my home reno because of the wonderful customer service Wayne offers. I was there a week ago and he assisted me with plumbing supplies for my kitchen today he assisted me with supplies for toilet install. He is just the best employee assisting customers..hes dedicated and loves what he does!
Would not grant any leniency on appliance return, even during COVID-19 pandemic. A lot of “nothing I can do” and blaming the delivery company. I took responsibility for my part (not accounting for door swing in measurement) and I am just stunned they would not even meet me part way. I am literally stuck with a refrigerator. Just be sure you know exactly what you’re getting, don’t sign for delivery until it is 100% in place, and perhaps, get it at Lowe’s rather than here. They were within the letter of their policy, I should stress, but this is not how you earn people’s business.
My experience wasnt good! Sorry to say. I ordered a lawn mower online, the day before pickup, (I didnt receive an alert saying it was ready) when I stopped by to check on it; they didnt have any! Prior to my ordering online, and speaking with another rep at a different location, that checked in the system, it said they had 7, but unfortunately that wasnt the case. The young lady was quiet helpful in the online area. She called the Lovejoy location, and I had to start the process again!I called and spoke with the young lady at the Lovejoy location, (Diamond) she confirmed there were 3; I explained to her this situation and asked if she could hold one for me, unfortunately she said No, not the policy. Luckily, when I got there, I was able to purchase! It would had been nice to have an inconvenience discount or sorry this happened! 🙁
This is the first time EVER in my entire life that *two* associates came up to me as soon as I walked into the door and asked if they could help me (I came in on Saturday night). Typically around this time at other Home Depots, its fend for yourself or cry out for help lol. They were trying to figure out who could help me. My experience only got better. We had a hard time tracking a very specific ceiling fan, but it was all hands on deck and I got the fans at a wonderful price. I must commend MOD Ms. Michelle, Mr. Jerome, Associate D, and all the others who made my experience awesome.
Although the store has inventory ( minus disinfectant spray) the online ordering and pick ups, needs a major re-tweet. Online business is a way of life, in a COVID-19 climate. Yet once you arrive, the numbers listed to contact the store isnt functional, thanks for the bug, I received on my telephone. Please check your web site
I went to Home Depot today on Cascade around 11:30 am. Before I could ask a question about the toilet seats, the worker had to let me know she was working with someone else and couldn’t help me for 5-10 minutes. It was more about the way she said it. I understand you were busy, but that wasn’t the proper way to talk to a customer. Sorry Home Depot, but you lost about $600 in business today. I went to Lowes where the service was excellent.
I ordered several major appliances from LG through Home Depot, on Cascade; LG is very shady in which they handle you once you’ve purchased their products; but my local Home Depot went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and taking care of and I will always be grateful to Mr. Herman and HD.Thanks, again for going above and beyond for me and seeing this portion of my home improvement til the end. I have a few more projects that I am working on and Cascade HomeDepot is my only choice for service and supplies!
I made a large order of decorations Stones for my yard and today it was delivered my concerned is I was told that I will have to sign for my delivery so I am waiting and didnt want to leave my house due to this. Next thing I hear a noise sounded like a forklift by the time I looked outdoors he was leaving they dropped it off I was thinking Ill be able to tell him where exactly I wanted it but he was gone. I really wanted it closer to the front door lean against the wall side not in the middle where people walk if coming to my house.
Its always hit or miss, and I usually have my best experiences when I know what I want and where to find it. The app is wonderfu for planning my trips. One day, I can go to Home Depot and get 1st class service by subject-matter experts. Other days, I might as well be in the store by myself because service is lacking.I still prefer them over the blue guys because Ive found some great deals. I recently found a Ryobi 9-piece power tool kit on clearance for significantly less than a 6-piece kit that goes for $299.
Drive the extra few miles and go to the Ponce location. The employees here dont even want to be here and it shows when you ask them for help. I had to hunt down and ask 3 separate employees for help, one of which told me what I was looking for would either be on aisle 48 or aisle 13 (which you can imagine are one opposite ends of the store, so ultimately I dropped everything I had and walked out. Customer service means NOTHING to this location.
Excellent customer service... from the cashiers to the floor staff to the Management. Im always greeted and helped by staff who love their jobs and always looking to help. I was in a bind a few weeks ago and needed a grill asap .. the manager let me take the floor model and others happily helped me load in my car.
This Home Depot location is close to my home but often I have to travel to a store further away to find products in stock or get assistance selecting or locating items. The staff at this Home Depot generally do not offer assistance nor are they easy to locate; The exception being Mr Jerome who normally works in the lighting department and who is ALWAYS a pleasure to talk to and VERY HELPFUL. Also there is a gentleman that works in the paint department that is very nice and also helpful. Everyone else including the manager is typically not helpful nor engaging. This Home Depot is often out of items or only have damaged products left on the self.
Nice early morning plant run......need to spruce up my front yard. Was assisted by a very knowledgeable man, he was helpful patient and had a good energy. I believe his name was Ahnaji or Ahnasi or something very similar to that. My apologies for butchering his name smh
The rental department is horrible. I rented a generator for 24 hrs. I only needed it for 5. When I went to use the generator it did not work but it was after hours so I waited until morning to contact the store, at that time it hadn’t been 12 hrs yet. Rafael/Marcell (names are similar I can’t remember exactly). I was told ok we will check it when you return it. I returned the item that same day and Rafael agreed the generator DID NOT WORK!! I called back the next day and no one had looked into the generator further until I was on the phone again. Rafael repeated to Marcell it didn’t work when he checked it. So Marcell went to check it. My issue was I was confirmed it did not work during drop off. Marcell would not refund me my money none of it. This has gone on since June 8th today is June 15th. The store manager was also horrible Guy Paul. He did nothing to try to fix the issue with 2 employees having different answers. He hung up the phone and never reached back out to me. Still Today I’m Charged $350 for rental and deposit and the generator was returned June 8th 24hr before my rental was due bc it did not work. Horrible experience!!
Worst customer service ever. Endless wait on phone and at the customer service desk. Very sweet people out in the garden department, but thats the only place I will ever set foot in again at this location. Also, dont waste your time trying to contact by phone. Not going to happen.
Just came from this location, went to pick up light bulbs. I found one pack of what I was looking for, but needed two. Stopped the first associate passing by to get assistance. She did a quick eye check and didnt see what I was looking for and stated she would page someone to help. I heard the page and waited and waited no one came. I walk up to customer service to inform her no one came, she was supposed to page them again. Long story short I waited 15 minutes for someone to tell me they didnt see what I was looking for and those are the only ones like what I needed in a four pack like that...this is why I prefer to shop where I live (no I dont live in the area). The customer service is so much better. It shouldnt be that way, but I can honestly say it is ☹☹☹
I already spend a ton of time at home Depot but wanted to leave a review for the Cascade store - their employees are some of the most helpful at any home Depot Ive been to. I bought a house approximately 2 years ago and always have projects - starting a garden, exterminating carpenter bees, installing towel racks, etc. etc. Never had a problem getting help or advice for any of my projects and the employees do a great job of sending me in the right direction when I just need to find something.
This place has the worst workers, they always walking around do nothing and when you ask for help they say its not my area and walk off sometimes they say Ill call someone some times they do most times they dont but at any rate no one never come . I hate this place the Cascade location sucks. Just say out of 100 employees you might have five good ones.
The place was empty during this visit so close to closing time. That lended itself to overhelpful competent employees more than eager to help you get your supplies and get you out their doors. Decent experiance overall, not flattering for The Home Depot but then again its not a place that lends itself to a joyous experience. Quick and convenient was the outcome and what more could one want from a place so well known for its ineffective, ineffecient and time consuming
Rented a chainsaw from this location. Bolts fell out of it. Went to get more. Was assured fuel would last 4 hours. Lasted 1. Basically i spent 24 hours fumbling with this equipment. Gentlemen inside we’re nice but were aware i came back because of issues and issued an unsatisfactory credit. I love Home Depot so I’ll continue to shop there but the rental department could use a tune up. Customer service and equipment wise.
Disappointed in this store, especially since it is my home store. Shelves not stocked. Assistance was not helpful. App said there were 6 items in inventory. Shelves were in such disarray, I had to get assistance. Armed with the item number, store help looked above where the item was supposed to be and said we dont have it. Took a gamble and went fyi the Cumberland store (app said they had 2) and there were 3 nicely hanging where it was supposed to be. Absolutely no confusion or question with whist I needed. I was in and out.
This place has the worse crew working there EVER!!! I blame management, because if there was any type of good management or leadership the workers wouldnt be so laxidasical, I mean you can just walk in that Home Depot and watch all the employees sit around and talk to each other and do nothing no one wants to work and once I got to the customer service counter it took absolutely forever at check out!! That was only like one middle-aged guy and one older lady that actually was going through the house helping people and the older lady actually took me to the product that I was looking for instead of just pointing and telling me its over there. And someone on the loudspeaker kept yelling and asking for help at the service desk and no one wanted to show up it was absolutely crazy in that place. Two thumbs down that place really need some help at that particular location
Never will do business here again. our stove was installed improperly and sparked and we had a certified electrician come to check and were informed it was due to incompetence it was installed improperly .. called to talk to manager and was told there was nothing they can do?! it could have burnt down house!
I ordered a gas grill and my neighbor picked it up for me but there was a glitch and it was not the right one. So I called and got Kimberly H and she was most helpful and very professional and kind. She delivered it herself last night and took the other one back She kept her promise and delivered. That is what I call an exceptional employee and GREAT Customer Service. Thank you.
Mr.Moses in tool rental was remarkablyrude. I watched him speak dismissively to the poor lady in front of me, telling her she would get a 50 dollar clean up fee on a carpet cleaner. She frantically wiped all over the machine that looked fine to me. She asked was it alright and he just ignored her and moved on to the next in line. When we asked if the 75ft snake we brought to the counter was working properly, he responded do you want to go to another home depot?. We waiting 45mins from the time we brought it up before he even inputted our info in. Ive rented these dozens of times (28years in the business as a contractor) and never had an experience, that I felt personally offended by in a store. He tried to hand me dirty bits with no gloves (the parts that dislodge raw sewage), and replied you a plumber aint you?. I could go on, but the story never gets any better. This guy is horrible for a store with already a somewhat discouraging reputation.
My husband and I just noved into our newly purchased home. We entered the store and was assisted by Jamilla. Jamilla was able to research the item we were looking for and unfortunately Home Depot happened to be out of stock with no earlier delivery times for about 1 month. She then gave us some options and information on what to do to get our item in the timeframe we needed it. We were so appreciative of her knowledge, patience, and help. She is who you need speak with if you go to this location looking for a washet/dryer set.
This is by far the worse Home depot in Atlanta they have no experience no Urgency too help people i stood in line at the rental office for 45 minutes with 15 more people but it wasnt a cashier in sight when you asked everyone had they hands in they pockets. And this was at 9am they opened at 6am
This Home Depot is completly out of control rude cashiers. No offense but people here do not care of customer service there is noneDo to the type of people who work there you can not expect much but laziness.Horrifying disrespectful experience.I ask to speak to a manager Kevin never came?Darsey the sweatiest respectful womanFinally came to help me.
My husband and I visited the Cascade store on Saturday, March 30, 2019, to purchase a new barbecue grill. The grill we found to purchase was a Kamado grill similar to an Green Egg grill; therefore, the grill was very heavy and was stored at the very top on a shelving unit and required a special forklift. Unfortunately, it was late and an experience driver wasn’t available at that time and we were asked to come back on Sunday, March 31, in which we did. This is where the OUTSTANDING customer service comes in. Not only did we receive immediate service, the driver named DeVente was able to bring down a 200 lb grill in less than 5 minutes and exemplified great customer service with a wonderful smile. The manager also gave us a very nice discount that brought a smile to our face for any trouble this may have caused. Additionally, other attendants were eager to load the grill on our truck. Usually, it’s difficult to find great customer service but this time we found OUTSTANDING service at the Cascade Home Depot store. Keep up the great work!!!
I am really big on supporting my community stores, but the cascade home depot customer service really makes it hard. I have been standing in electrical for over 38 minutes trying to get some sort of help. If they would take the time to look on camera, would see at least 12 home depot associates walk pass me after I asked can someone help me in electrical. I heard I dont work over here or I just walked in the door. I dont even know was going on. Not one of the 12 associate ever asked how can I help you, as they walked by as though you were bothering them. I should have to make the choice to choose the vinings store over cascade because of the customer service. The sad part is that Im closer to cascade and service is not good. But I will admit that there was one associate that didnt run or walk away as I approached him . Andrew was on isle 14 and I needed help on isle 5. After he asked what I needed, he helped me. The only thing I need was something high on a shelf. He was the only associate that bother to asked.
I was at the opening of the very first Home Depot store and I have always stayed true to them for what ever I needed. I can check on the internet for instock items and have items sent from other stores to my store or even to my house or work sometimes the same day. someone knew what they were doing from the beginning.
I had an awful experience.I shopped for an over the range microwave, located it talked to the salesperson. To my dismay the microwave was not available in store. The salesperson informed me, I would be charged a delivery fee to have the item you advertised delivered to your store for me to pickup. Is that not the most asinine statement for a business.I went directly to Lowes, purchased the exact item.No delivery charge for items delivered to the store.
Went with my brother in law to buy some items, cement bags, and it took us over an hour to start getting them loaded. My truck cannot hold an entire pallet and the worker try to put the entire pallet on my truck to prevent having to individually do it. He had head phones on driving a forklift and could hardly hear me. When he finally heard me I told him he had to unload individually and spread them out in the truck and trailer. He did not seem thrilled about doing this extra work, he was taking his time since he had no help so I got up and began to help him.
Cashier was extremely rude to not only myself but several customers. I cancelled that purchase and proceeded to another cashier. I noticed that some other customers went to the other cashier. My rating is for the first cashier only. Should have gone the extra half mile to Lowes.l
I called this store at 9:30am the lumber dept did not pickup the phone it ranged 15 rings so i decided to call back to get customer service no one picked up in that dept either i let that line ring for 40 rings. Im done. Is everyone out to lunch at 9:30am. Its hard to get good help these days👎👎👎👎😡😡😡😡
Im a truck Driver and a lot of times its hard to find a place to stay. I Delivered here for 4 years for a Truck line wont mention the name and always had a place to get my break in. I came here on 09/10/2015 at 8:30 PM was told to leave at 9:30 PM said it was private property and that I couldnt stay. Thats too bad because I prefered them over there competitors. Wont be using them anymore. The gentleman who asked me to leave forgets that they wouldnt received materials without trucks. Im really disappointed in The Home Depot. I looked at them as professional and caring. Maybe the gentleman was only doing his job but give the Truck Driver a break. I only needed a little rest. Would have been out of there before the start of the next day. Too the management of this Home Depot please consider letting a few Truck Drivers stay in your parking lot at night it may be more a blessing then you will ever know. A lot of people go into stores just to see what new items have come in just because they saw a truck leave out of there store. So please I ask help out the Truck Driver. He or she has probley been driving all day and would like to get a little rest besides if an accident happens that you could have helped avoid by just letting them rest it would have been all worth it.The Truck Driver.
Close by and convenient because Walmart is across from this location ( Yes, I know I said Walmart, better known as Walnuts because its crazy. But heck, I Like to save a buck just like the next guy)But back to Home Depot. I like this location because Their return policy is pretty liberal. And I also am able to find those Orange aprons when I have a question. They seem pretty receptive to assisting you.

2022-03-19I want to thank Home Depot Cascade for their kindness and product knowledge. If it wasn’t for their amazing staff I wouldn’t have been able to complete my project. I came into the store to purchase lumber to build a mobile bar and I had no idea where to begin, but the employees walked me through it all. Their employees Trip, Anthony, and Jennifer were so nice and helpful . Everyone was very pleasant and made my first wood working project easy! I visited several Home Depot’s over the course of my build and Cascade had the best staff by far

2021-12-09I decided to build a storage shelf for my friends garage. I came in selected my lumber and because I already knew the cuts I needed I was able to have everything cut in store. Jason helped me with the precision cuts which made my project easy to complete. I did give him the wrong dimensions for my OSB, but cut those down once I got home!

2022-04-02This location is perfect for a multi-stop trip. The store was clean, organized, and set up similar to other Home Depots I’ve visited. Multiple cashiers were available to check out and the cashiers were very friendly and helpful! I found everything I needed to take care of my repairs and had some great conversations with staff at the same time! 🤩

2022-07-02Ive been a customer at this store since it opened. I have a great customer service experience on June 30th. There was a young woman who was straightening thr shelf who went out of her way to help me. The manager whose name is Ernestine was very attentive with helping me with my issue. She was very approachable and professional. The cashiers at the self checkout which I dont like the process, but they were friendly and had great mannerisms. Its important to let people know when they do a good job.

2022-06-25This review doesnt reflect on the entire store, just one younger lady working in the Paint Department.I have never used paint matching before and had no idea of the process or the options like buying a sample. When I asked questions of this young lady, she snapped at me in a condescending tone as if I was supposed to already know the answers to my own questions. I guess she is just used to people whove done paint matching before? I want to go back and try the process again with someone more patient, but Im honestly scared Ill get this inpatient and rude young lady again. The older employees in that department did seem to be more patient and kind.

2022-04-29I came to the store with a list of 6 items. I found all 5 by myself, but when I asked them to help me find an outdoor “dusk to dawn” light…..it went downhill. The paint guy did a call for a customer needing help on aisle one. No one ever came. So then, I stopped a guy who sent me to an aisle and it wasn’t there so when I looked for someone else….no one in sight. I even called the store…no one answered. It’s line the service people disappeared. I guess I will go to Lowes. They will walk you directly to the items you need.
