The Home Depot in other cities:
Sunday, December 12, 2021,4 pm to 5 pmWe went in to get light fixtures, switches for lights, and light switch covers. There were at least 5 people who passed us without asking if we needed help. When we went looking for help, one 1 person was available. He said he was the greeter and would have to go find someone to help us. We waited, but no one ever came. We had to figure it all out alone. We felt like we should have gotten paid since no one would help. We got to the register and had some wrong items. A manager (I think) was working the self checkout. She was super helpful and seemed to be the only person working. She called several times for assistance. She then had to call specific names to get a response. It took a while for the person to come. When he got to us, he seemed bothered. The manager had walked away to assist another customer. When she came back, she asked if he was able to assist? We said he took our switch and went back into the store. It took him a while to come back. The merchandise was all mixed up, so we imagined he was having a hard time finding what we needed. He finally came back with the correct item. The manager gave a discount because of the poor experience. I feel bad because I didnt get her name. She should be rewarded. She was the light in a frustrating situation.
Store was pretty much in order was a little more crowded than i like but nothing to complain about or be upset over. The employees seemed to be doing their part to get the lines down quickly so thats all u can really ask for i suppose unless more registers and clerks to do so
I went to the Home Depot looking for a rain water diversion thing to put on my down spout. I looked up the row and bin it was located in BEFORE I went in the store. Even with that information it was still hard to find what I was looking for because the item was not in the designated bin! But I found it.
Worst store. Always understocked and understaffed with qualified personnel. I am a true diy person. I couldnt get any help because the vinyl machine was broken with no projected date for repair. Waited 15 minutes for a manager and then was given a teenager who told me homed depot policy on selling tools but not using tools to help customers with a purchase. Going to Lowes or Ace where they are allowed to and know how to use scissors and a yard stick. Called another store but they never picked up. Waste my time but not my money there anymore.Store #0123 Jamari Giles ( teenager from garden section)Carolynn Jackson ( store manager M.I.A.)
Delivery has been a nightmare. Ive ordered delivery about 5 times. The first few times were okay. Lately, its been terrible. I schedule my workers to work on Saturdays. The time before last, I thought, Ill use the 6-8 AM delivery window because I dont want the materials stolen, and I need them before my workers get to the job site. Well, 10 AM rolls around and I call the customer service number because I havent gotten the materials. After being on hold for more than an hour, I get in touch with a decent rep. The materials were delivered around 11 AM. I requested a refund on my delivery. The rep tried to connect me with the manager to get a refund. After a couple of tries, she promised the manager would contact me by phone later. I never received a call. The last time, I thought Im not going to waste my money on a delivery window and Ill just go for a delivery window of a day. I scheduled the delivery for Saturday and thought that Ill have my workers do demo while we wait for the materials. Well, Home Depot delivery is exceptional at screwing things up. Not only did they not deliver on Saturday, they split the order in two. One was delivered early and sat in the rain for a few days. The wood split. The second half of the order will be delivered (supposedly) on Tuesday, and Ive already scheduled the workers for Saturday, and I needed those materials to do the job. Im not happy with HD delivery. I will try Lowes next time.
This location is TRASH and deserves NO STARS!!! An associate asked me if I needed help and did not help me. I wanted to get artificial grass to make a grass wall in my home and the associate for that department told me where to find it as if he didnt have to put in a code to get it down and cut it. Then I asked another associate for help I was told this isnt my department and then they walked off. I proceeded to go to customer service to ask for a manager. I asked for a manager THREE times and no one ever showed up. I literally stood in Home Depot for a hour and purchased nothing!!! This mess is way beyond unacceptable!!!! Everyone is just sitting there collecting a check but not doing their jobs!!!! The managers name that was given was Kelvin Morgan!!
While I was wait to be taken care of the cashier and Joel were having a good personal conversation though the customer service desk was surrounded by customers they were laughing and short talking to not make it clear. But Joel mustve forgotten where he was at that he used the N word and the lady that during this entire time the cashier was tending had to tell him language and he didnt even acknowledge her or apologized, but continued his convo. I didnt get to see the young ladies name tag my order was released by cxm3408 if that means anything.
This location had what I was looking for and the associates were very friendly and willing to help. Their cabinet hardware could use some organizing (took me an hour to find what I was looking for because everything in the bins is all mixed up), but the rest of the store seems to be pretty organized. Ill definitely go back.
I have a big project and need two pallets of wood waited for 20mins and still no one came to drop my pallets. This was the worst Home Depot I have been in in my life. My project is up the street and now I’m going to have to go to another location farther out. Employees are rude as well.
Ordered my items online at 10:15am no response til 2:30pm on one other. Went to the location to purchase my items and cancel the online order. After gathering all my items. The service desk associate says oh they did pull your order we just didnt put it in the system. REALLY! If youre not going to honor online service then just do away with it. Stop telling me youre short handed, I dont want to keep hearing that excuse.
I hate leaving negative reviews but this is some constructive criticism that other customers need to have to be informed and Home Depot also needs to have to make imperative corrections to their operation. My husband and I own and operates 2 businesses, under one of which we have a Home Depot pro account and ordered about $30,000 worth of material over the course of 2020. We would have liked for that figure to be larger but this Home Depot is so incredibly unreliable that we split more than half our sourcing with Lowes throughout the year. Wed order a load of lumber and materials and on the day of pickup, wed repeatedly have to wait hours to get our items loaded with several employees standing around doing nothing, seemingly waiting for 20% of the staff to do 80% of the work.Yesterday, we went to pick up an order for lumber and surprise, surprise - it wasnt ready. We were told no one was available to assist though 2 able bodied young men on Home Depots time stood there doing nothing, watching one young man move orders. My husband waited for almost an hour before deciding to get the items himself but we had clients waiting and deadlines to meet so he only procured what was needed for yesterdays client - about 30% of the lumber - before leaving the rest on the shelf with the understanding from staff, the remaining 70% would be ready for pickup today.Today, not only was the order not ready but the lumber was all gone - every last piece! These lazy charlatans - YET AGAIN - stood around for a whole day doing nothing and let walk-ins take all that lumber without putting a preexisting obligation they had aside for pickup. They were unapologetic and issued a refund. They didnt even check another store for availability. We had to call our employees and inform them they get to take the day off, inform the clients of a delay and call other stores ourselves to secure the lumber. Meanwhile, Lowes had it ready and waiting on the pavement when we got there. Moreover, I walked in on a different mission 2 weeks ago and found a plant I liked - the only remaining one - that was unfortunately broken in several places and partially uprooted. I thought I might like the challenge of trying to revive it so I asked 2 members of staff what discounted considerations could be made. They both vehemently spent the next 5 minutes educating me on how impossible it was as Home Depot can only make money this way and that the vendor would have to make any accommodations I desire.Ok Home Depot Jonesboro Road, keep that $4 in profit on the plant. We will take our $70,000 worth of annual business elsewhere. Thank you for the lessons. I hope you do better for the rest of the folks still open to giving you a shot.
Was way busier than I expected it to be. I came to buy a lawnmower and blinds. Not once did any employees stop and ask if I needed help. Disappointed in my treatment. Cashier was the only one who was friendly and helpful. Ill be choosing Lowes next time. Hopefully Ill get better service...
The most obnoxious cashier I have ever encountered. I simply asked her to put my military discount in and she acts like Im asking for a kidney. I am a large contractor and this dummy just insured I give all my business to lowes. The manager of this location should be ashamed to run this store.
The store clerks were very nice and professional. Clerk, Latoya, was great. The parking lot was a bit trashy but the customer service was excellent overall. Please work on cleaning up the parking lot and do some landscaping especially giving that its a home improvement store.
This hd is just okay. Because its right off the interstate and in a blue-collar industrial area they never have the cool stuff that you see at Cumberland mall hd or Ponce hd or any of the hds in Buckhead. Its often hard to get help from an employee, if you seem like you need assistance many will avoid eye contact Ave head the opposite direction. Basically Youre on your ownAs of today October 5th, they had zero Halloween decorations and were in the process of putting up Christmas 🙄
This location always is out of products..The garden center is a joke..The selection of plants and accessories is unacceptable. Why even have a garden center? I have tried and tried to shop here, but Home Depot continues to disregard the community that this location serves. I will now be driving out of my way to go to Lowes on Caroline Street.Get your act together and serve this community better!!
Customer service was A-1. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and Brittney hooked us up with a special discount for our Christmas tree! Unlike your other competitor, your employees really know the value of providing great customer service! Thank you! Even though we dont stay close well definitely be back!
Customer service was slow. I went to buy 2 pallets of Quikrete Concrete Mix and I had to wait almost 20 minutes for the forklift driver to show up. When one finally showed up, he was slow and acted like he didnt care at all. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful though.
The staff here made this a better than expected Home Depot. The magic words, I dont know, but Ill find out are key!We heard them, received fun help finding our stuff and were on our way. There was plenty of parking, but the lot has seen better days. Still, wheelchair customers shouldnt have many problems.
This place is the worst ever. Before entering the store you have to walk through chicken bones and garbage. The store had no, not one available lumber cart. They were all full of lumber for both reason. The bolts and torque washers were a mess. I was unable to find 8 of the same size. Boxes everywhere just tossed around. The worst store Ive ever seen. I would give negative 20 stars if I could.
This is my favorite Home Depot. While you know you are going to be there for at least an hour, at least you know the staff members you see through out the store. I spend so much time there, Its like a second home. And I always come out with more than I went in there for.
The management at this store acts as though their cutting checks for the employees and very much so, non approachable managers. To be honest the ladies that work customer service and returns are truly the only reliable, knowledgeable and efficient employees at this location for years. When Terrance was their getting assistance or meeting with upper management wasnt a challenge. Why are they more active in the Forest Park community.. smh🤦♂️
I was informed by the Home Depot warranty department that this location had 13 CE fans in stock to replace my damaged one. Also, on the website this location was listed as having 13 CE fans in stock. When I went to the store, they couldnt locate any fans... in the entire store. Nobody knew anything. I waited nearly 30 minutes for them to inform me that they didnt have one. I had to drive all the way to Marietta, where I should have went in the first place, to exchange my fan. The ghetto.
This home depot is an oldie but a goodie! Mainly due to the staff. Everyone is always eager to help or give advice and I never have to go looking for an associate. They go above and beyond to please a customer and will help you and get to know you as well. Even if they are out of something they always help me find an alternative. Thank you!
This was a great trip. Went to buy a refrigerator and was taken care of as soon as I got to the appliance section. The guy that helped me was great. Kelly did the paper work while he went to get fridge. Wish I could remember his name. Both were very kind and polite. Great job and thanks
I frequent many different Home Depots and this one by far has the best customer service! You are greeted my HD Staff when you enter. Its always easy to locate an associate to assist me. Manager Hutch at the Pro Desk is always ready to help with contractor needs and pro desk questions!
Went to pickup an online order and the service representative was rude. She made me feel as if I was bothering her. My first and last time at this Home Depot if I can help it. The only reason this isnt a one star review is that the two guys that helped me after made a difference in my experience. They recognized the service representative was in one of her moods. She should be doing something away from the public.
I was a little bit surprised at the customer service I received. I was looking for Christmas wreaths and was in a section that had plastic ones. I was looking a bit lost so a guy who worked in plumbing who was walking by asked if he could help. Though it wasnt his area he was helpful. I assumed because of the location that the service would be substandard but I stand corrected.. good job
I needed to purchase a deep freezer and my closest local store didn’t have the one I wanted in stock. I saw this store had it in stock! I went to this store and everyone was very helpful. Abu was the main one to assist me with everything I asked him to assist me with! Great customer service! I will be going back again! Thanks everyone!
Terrible inventory management... Lacking a lot of essentials... Broken returns out back on the shelves.Super slow to get the forklift outside to get you in the way.No covered contractor area. Just poorly managed. One of the worst HDs I have been too.. but unfortunately the next closest one is midtown which is a nightmare to get in and out of.
What a mess. Almost none of nuts/bolts/fasteners are in the marked place in the store and those sections that are marked are filled with random sizes/other pieces of hardware. Common sizes not it stock. It appears no one has checked on the fasteners section in a very long time or if they have, they have no interest in organizing or restocking it. It’s a good thing Home Depot isn’t in the screws/nuts/bolts business or this store would really be dropping the ball. Oh. Wait...
Never have I been to a home Depot this bad. Ive been waiting an hour for someone just to lower some wood for me. I try and ask for help and they tell me theyre on the way. I am still waiting while I type this review. No one here truly wants to be here and they show no initiative. Hire some compentent people please
This is the Home Depot that time forgot. I came in here two weeks ago to purchase some Birch plywood and bead board. They were out of both. No big deal. It happens. What was odd was there was trash and bundles of hardware from other departments scattered all over the beat up leftover boards. Again. No big. But I went back today and neither section had been restocked. Not only that but all the trash from the previous visit was still there. This included food trash and snack cups and various other items that one would think would be priority to clean. The store really looks like nobody cares about it. There is seldom inn employee around when you need one. And when you do see an employee, theyre usually wandering aimlessly with a dead look on their face like someone has sucked the soul from their very being.
The store was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. This is now my preferred store. Not to mention, the parking lot was free of nails. The reason for me saying that is simply because the Home Depot on Jonesboro Road had nails everywhere, one had gotten into my tire causing me to get a flat at the most inconvenient time.
I would give a ½ star if possible. The absolutely worst home depot in the southeast region of this country. Its dirty, disorganized, gloomy, poor restock, lack courteous customer service. I only go to this store when its the closest to my work site, and some times Ill even drive out the way to another one just to avoid dealing with the bs in this store.
We recently purchased an entire suite of LG appliances from Home Depot for our new home. I originally wanted to purchase the same appliances from Lowes but a few were out of stock so we decided to go with Home Depot as all items we wanted showed in stock – HUGE MISTAKE!!!!I opened a credit card to utilize the zero interest option on the purchase. Please note that this was a fairly large purchase totaling almost $7,000 which included a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. A few days before the scheduled delivery, I received a phone call from LG notifying me that all of a sudden, the dishwasher we ordered wasn’t in stock. Wasn’t in stock? We already purchased the appliances on the credit card and they were scheduled for delivery for over a month. Do you know what you can’t get on a brand new home without appliances – A certificate of Occupancy.Frantically, we returned the call from LG only to be advised they had no dealings with the delivery so we were advised to call Home Depot. After calling, we figured it would be easier to go directly into the store and speak to someone about switching out the Dishwasher so that the rest of the appliances could be delivered on time as originally scheduled. It was a full three hour ordeal but we were assured the appliances would all arrive as originally scheduled. The only downfall was we had to downgrade the dishwasher to a model that was “in stock” – not as if that means anything at Home Depot.Fast forward to delivery day. I had a delivery window of 11AM to 3PM. After sitting at the house all day, the delivery shows up at close to 5PM. The downgraded dishwasher was rolled in and the installation team immediately refused to install the dishwasher. Something about a blind corner cabinet in the kitchen. Mind you, we installed it ourselves later and it was very simple so I will never fully understand the policy. But upon refusing to install, the delivery crew just dumped the dishwasher in my dining room and begin to leave. When I inquired about the rest of my appliances, they told me that other three items were not scheduled until the following week.Long story short, I got a downgraded dishwasher.Home Depot refused to install said dishwasher and scratched my brand new hardwood floors pushing it into the dining room.My appliances all came late anyway so the downgraded dishwasher wasn’t even worth the hassle.Certificate of occupancy was delayed thanks to Home Depot’s incompetence.Forced to reschedule the movers.A lot of the above had fees associated with the changes. Now comes the fun part. Home Depot offered us $150 for our troubles. 150 big ones for almost $7,000 in purchases. That doesn’t even cover taxes on a single appliance. The customer service has been the worst I have ever endured and I can assure you this credit card is getting cancelled and Home Depot has lost an entire family of customers for life.
I had the pleasure of meeting James “Hutch” today at the pro desk and I just had to come and leave a review about how amazing this guy is. He really is a true inspiration and Home Depot is very lucky to employ such an amazing guy like him. I wish there were more people like him in this world. Hutch thank you for your service and I hope we meet again. 👍🏻
I went to the lawn and garden department in the Jonesboro rd location to but a specific plant. The debut and credit card services were down. Much to my surprise a kind employee Mrs. Ann offered to give me the remainder of what the cost of the plant was. I was very moved and thought she and the cashier deserved some recognition. Its been a while since Ive received a random act of kindness and it made me smile all day!
The only thing this store has is a solid plumbing department, the rest is just horrible. No one knows anything about hardware and there never any registers open beside self-check out. Avoid this HD if possible. Update: In there this morning, 930am Monday and it looks they decided Monday morning was a great time restock the shelves, most isles blocked, this is my most hated Home Depot.
I love Home Depot.. I actually work for them which is why I know most of what I saw is out of policy and coming to this store, was disappointing. The parking lot is lined with trash.. The rental gentleman had a tabacoo dip in while he was talking to us so I could barely understand him and the cashier had a nose piercing., a BIG one.
Waited 35 minutes for an associate with a piss-poor attitude to cut a piece of plywood in half. Then we come to the register and the price on the shelf doesnt match the register price, so they go check it...and then return to my wife and i without the slightest clue as to what to do. The guy they called to do the price check said oh yo u need someone from lawn and garden to check the price, Im from hardware. Like he didnt come equipped with the necessary tools to get the job done, like eyes...and legs... ultimately the problem with this store is the management, hiring garbage without any work ethic. I would rather this store just close, so that another company with some competent management can get the job done...
I drove nearly 30 minutes to this home depot to buy wood for a project that I required finishing the same day. After I pick out the pieces I needed there was no one in the department to cut the wood to the size i need. Once i located an employee who paged the person working in that department he seemed very irritated and then told me he could not cut that particular wood.. WTH? I then explained that i have this procedure done all the time, he then said the saw was broken and that he was glad that it was not working to make a joke out of it to his co-workers. I agree with the other comments here the workers are very nasty and super rude at this store and I will never return!!!
NEVER, and I do mean NEVER in life go to this Home Depot. If you have to drive 10 miles to the next one, do it. This place gives my beloved Home Depot a bad name. If I could give it zero stars and start taking away from there, I would. Nobody there wants to do their job. The great and helpful customer service that you’re used to gettin at Home Depot, you will not find here. If you are a professional, such as yourself, don’t do it. I’m sitting in the parking lot right now and my experience was so bad I had to write about it. Myself and another contractor who spend $100K plus a year with Home Depot has suffered a similar plight both agreed we’d never shop at this location again. This place should be closed.
Went on a Sunday afternoon and could barely find employees around and the 1 employee we did find seemed uninterested in helping us. Also NONE of the saws worked. The electric one was out of order and the 2 manual saws were inefficient because the teeth were messed up. And they didnt have any in the back. Just an overall worthless home depot to go to. Dont waste your time.
One of the worst Home Depot in Georgia customer service is Next to nothing...order a tub after two tries the first tub came short second tub came chipped and manager refuse to discount the damage tub at reasonable price considering I waited three weeks for a simple tub. Assistant manager Robert need to be retrained..for an assistant manager he doesn’t know how to return an item and reorder.... I will drive 10 more miles to go to another Home Depot before I shop there again...Thanks for wasting my time..I’ve had other bad experience there but this one push me over the edge..GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ESPECIALLY TO PLACE YOUR SPECIAL ORDER..0 ACCOUNTABILITIES
Whoever handles incoming calls plays too much. I simply called to figure out what deals the store has on electronic drills. The Home Depot representative forwarded the call but i was on hold close to 10 minutes. Someone then answered and asked if I was the person seeking information on electric drill hardware; i said yes then they said ok and put me back on hold for a second time. After the home Depot representative answered the phone from me being put back on hold, they figure out that I was placed back on hold and tried to put me on hold again for a third time then hung up in my face. Yall need more respectable people to handle the customer service over the phone. Im still looking for a drill but home depot will NOT get my business.
Had a good visit today.... a customer was trying to flag a helper down for some help to load things in her truck.no one would assist so I asked would she like some help she said yes next thing I know I have employees standing at the door another employee telling me to stop soliciting because another person went in saying I was soliciting ???and bothering people....??? I have a credit line with home Depot and shop regularly at different locations.... never been to this one and dont think Ill be back...oddly weird visit I dont appreciate the disrespect and I really dont know what or who the customer was or why they would Target me.... It was not cool being falsely accused of something I dont know whats going on....
The workers run from you. The workers give you wrong information. The workers have their pants sagging while at work. Not enough workers and workers seem just like they just dont care and only here to get by. Damn shame. Customer stole my cart while I walked off for 1 minute to get some items.
My wife and I had a basement project a few months ago, we went to the store pulled the drywall over 200 pieces 8×4 3/4 inch. Scheduled it for delivery next day, they switched it and tried to deliver the 1/2 inch instead .When it arrived we rejected it after showing them paperwork of what we paid for and asked them to send us the right one back. Which they did and blamed it on someone else. Fast foward 8 months later, Monday 10/16 we go and pull lumber to build a deck top and bottom, we put everything ready to go on the truck and pay for it to be delivered( a $79 fee total close to $1,000 in total) After we leave they put everything back on the shelves and request the lumber to be delivered from two other different stores. Delivery driver shows up with half the merchandise and says the store ran out yet I pulled it myself and paid for it. I rejected the delivery and requested a full refund. They bait and switch their customers and their explanations never make sense.Im pretty pissed, the contractor is really pissed because this ruins his work project schedules. As a result Im now switching to Lowes. This particular store has left a bad taste in my mouth. So long home depot.
Worst Home Depot I ever went to can I find no one to help you in flooring was there for like half an hour have one person working a old woman and no one else in the department very upset very upsetting to know you go to a department store trying to find merchandise and no one can help you should not be that way I end up went to Lowes
When people speak to their customer service agents they think were being cordial when we actually have a question that might be something that they would want to bring up in their meetings to ensure that they greet every customer check with every customer to see if they need assistance I know that sometimes it is busy but at the same time thats what they are there for
What a mess, went in to buy a few bolts, everything was in the wrong bins, guy in the orange apron scanned the empty bin of what I needed, and said the computer says there should be 2 more boxes, but if they arent right there the computer must be wrong and passed the blame on to the vendor that supplies their bolts and walked off. Vagrants standing around everywhere in the parking lot make you worry about security. Drive a bit further and avoid this disorganized ghetto of a store.
Thumbs down, the employee play around with the phone. Example. Hello, hi, how can I help you, I have a question, can i..........., she cuts you off with one moment and then you back on hold. This aint your funky stanky broken screen raggedy cell phone. Its called a job fool!!!&1
Took an hour to get out of this Home Depot. Due to only one person waiting on 5 customers in the paint department. While trying to get plywood my cart was confiscated by an employee that I had to chase down to get it back. Lazy employees. I had to go outside to get the cart.

2022-06-28This location has its ups and downsOne employee on Sunday afternoon at the register kept saying you can go to self checkout. I told her I dont do self checkout Im a Union employee and self checkout cause people to loose job opportunities. She obviously wanted a check but dont like to work for it. Other than that one individual overall the service was great.

2022-05-03This is a small store. Noone to help you load concrete or anything else. The associates are more matter of fact instead of helpful, and they told me I had to download an app to get my military discount.

2022-01-13I normally dont like dealing with the help. But this one kid took me from one end of the story. Then back to the other end. He found what I wanted. And was well mannered. And saw he was the same to others. I wish I knew his name. We were looking for a hand water pump that was around aisle 20. He is a good example of a Home Depot employee. I have had some issues with the old farts.

2022-01-02I had two cashiers and the first one was more concerned about getting off work than helping me as a Vet?The second was very sensitive to my needs as a senior citizen and was able to give me the vets discount!?I spent almost $200 and only got about a $9.00 savings 😂 Thanks!
