Went to buy a cordless vacuum. The batteries are sold separately and they are locked up and no one was in the dept to help. Went to the customer service desk and they called for someone to help but no one came. If you cant have someone available to unlock items then DONT LOCK THEM UP!!!
Wow what a full day woke up at one tried to watch a movie received a phone call from Alabama power dont know why its supposed to be Georgia power anyway said they are about to turn off the lights then i received a phone call from great lakes edu saying the loan extention was being extended till September she asked all my personal info i confirmed she said they may set me up for 33 a month or no payment at all she ask if i was working i said no any income coming in i said not at the time she said ok i said if anything changes just email me she said ok we hung up i watched a movie on youtube but it was in a another language with bits of english and captions at the bottom of the screen called Goodman but the description was good that i read anyway i turned it off started to look at another movie but either i didnt like the description or just wasnt into it decided on another movie called the wake up call watched that all the way through then wondered if i might be able to get my nails done received another phone call from my pharmacy but couldnt hear a word had to listen again and still didnt get in checked to see what nail salon was open its a long list wont do that couldnt decide on an outfit one of my earring didnt have a match the other did but not a hook had to put it together decided on green and white no flip flops white sperrys i left but i did say i wouldnt be able to get my feet done because of time but i went to ck it might have been 7:05 no later than 7:10 some lady was running back and forth before she left in a white car i got out a guy asked what did i want i said pedicure he said no sorry we are closed come back tomorrow i said it said online 7:30 but the lights were off but the door was also open i left rode to the movies looked it up first it was between come play and little things i decided on little things theatre 11 seat m2 was already in green dont know why didnt ask they didnt have pepperoni pizza so i decided on nachos i want the cheese all over and a cup of water no one was at the ticket stand ok got my water and left after the movie came on finished the nachos didnt have napkins and i realized my earring was missing i looked around me couldnt find it i left got some napkins wipe my hands oh my god the smell but it cleared up quick then the cold air came out of nowhere (visions popping)during the movie guys kept coming in and standing on the wall i asked if the concession stand was open one guy said no its closed i said i wanted some m&ms but its ok another one was standing on the wall before them a break came in the screen after the movie (i was by myself that i know of)went to the restroom came out saw two girls walking before the guys i asked if they saw my earring one girl said i dont think they can hear you they both said they didnt see anything one was putting something in his pocket he had on shorts one of the guys said you can go back and check if you want i said no just wanted to know if you came across it not that serious one of the girls said have a good evening yall have one too something i said cant really remember left from there went to dairy queen for triple chocolate brownie a black truck was before me i came up to the speaker it said 10 it was a little after i spoke anyway i said hello hello can i have a triple chocolate brownie i went to the window no one was there i drove towards the front saw a car waiting in the parking lot i drove off went to burger king checked to see online about dairy queen online it said 11 must be where i live i said but no it wasnt it was where i left from tried to order from burger king i could hear voices from the speaker i went to the window like everyone else told one of the women my story ordered my food drove around waiting on fries window still down i parked by this truck lady attempting to roll down her window then the woman at the window came out with a bunch of brown bags i rolled down the other window although one window was already down got my food it was hot no salt though but i ate sat for a while just observed saw a man on a bike anothe
The Home Depot just lacks miserably in the area of customer service. As a customer, you can walk around a section and pass right in front of the face of store associates who refuse to great you or ask if assistance is needed. Time and time again this is the experience for this particular store. I wish that management would assist their associates with understanding that a smile and assistance requests usually equate to higher sales at the transaction counter.Smile. Greet your customers. Offer assistance. Pitch a new product. Offer an idea or two and come back if the customer is still in the area for longer than 25 minutes. I usually dont visit this store because its the same experience and their competitor a few minutes away provides a much better shopping experience.UPDATE: 2.26.2022Still no one saying hello upon entry BUT at least there was one associate that spoke as I walked towards the self checkout area. There were two associates working the Aisle 4 section. Neither one took the time to approach or ask if assistance was needed.UPDATE: 6.13.2022Much improved!! Greeted by the young lady in the gardening section. Greeted by the Store Manager. Greeted by an associate who also asked if I needed assistance. Professionally assisted by the cashier who was very polite. Much better visit thus go around!!
The app and/or online ordering is garbage. I try my best not to speak to many employees because they NEVER know where they are or what they are doing and definitely cannot find anything even with the phone they carry around. Most of the time things are in a completely different location or out of stock on the shelves but will show on the phone device like 6 or so in stock. Evidently they have a problem with keeping enough folks working there, because you can hardly ever find someone when you have to have help. I literally spend over 20mins helping another patron myself, and when we did see an employee, the young man informed us he had no idea about anything in this department, that the other guy was at lunch, but when he went to get more help he never returned. We waited for another 20mins on him to return, then the gentleman and myself left. I give three stars because they do have everything and you can get it yourself and checkout yourself.
Really grateful for the customer service I received this past weekend at Home Depot. (Mind you- I’ve never been in Home Depot alone for myself). I was starting a new DIY project. (Ive never done one before). I was painting a few pieces of furniture (using chalk paint). Not a good idea for a beginner to take on so much at one time. Needless to say- I was overwhelmed; however, Mario in the paint center was so helpful and patient with me! He was friendly , had a great sense of humor, answered all my questions and went above and beyond to get me all of the resources I needed. I was extremely impressed! I wish I could have gotten his last name. Definitely grateful for people like him. Give that man a raise!
Dropping myRating from four stars to three. Credit given to Miss Dee at the customer service counter who made a point to avoid eye contact at all cost with absolutely no greeting of any kind. Sorry to have disrupted your day, Miss Dee. Update review April 2022: Went to purchase new water heater. Associate showed me a model that would fit my measurements and I purchased it. I also asked him were there any parts or accessories that I need to get with it before I check out. Associate said no you should be fine. I contacted my plumber to advised that I needed a expansion tank and various fittings costing approximately $70 which wasnt the problem, but I would have preferred not to have to make a second trip to home Depot when I could have done all of it the first visit. For that reason Im still leaving my rating a 3 star. Ive heard rumors that this location may end up being drive through / pickup versus a walk-in store. If it comes to that, I suspect I will be spending a lot less money in this store as many of the things that Ive bought have been from seeing displays.
I recently purchased quite a bit of plumbing pipe and many fittings. Carlos was the team member in the plumbing section of the Brunswick, GA Home Depot store. Carlos was very knowledgeable about plumbing. He helped me get the 4 inch and the 2inch pipe to the cashier counter. He also helped me with the other fittings that I needed to finish up a job. He is Definitely an asset to Home Depot. Excellent customer service skills. I also have to mention the cashier, Danielle. She greeted me in such a wonderful way with the most beautiful smile ever. Excellent service, clean isles. I walked in with a budget and a salesman helped me pick the best item that I could afford and I am sad that I did not get his name but he really did get me in and out of there as quick as possible and help me the best way possible at the same time. And to top it off as I was paying an officer was escorting a shoplifter out so every department in the store is doing their job. Go team home depot!
I went to purchase a microwave and the manager would not give my husband his ten percent veteran discount and this is not the first time this happened. Their excuse was because it was on sale. It shouldnt matter whether its on sale or not. We left there and went to Lowes and made the purchase there. Lowes gave us ten percent and we bought it for almost $50.00 cheaper. I dont care what we buy from Lowes on sale or not on sale, they always acknowledge the veterans discount. All he have to do is give them his pH number, it automatically comes up in the system. BUT NEVER at Home Depot, the manager is unbelievable and dont care about the veterans of this country.
This is my favorite store in the whole world. I come here about every weekend for various projects and repairs I have to do. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and there are so many neat tools and gadgets. When I die and pass thru the pearly white gates I hope there is a home depot there.
Over the wear and tear of the years, a small dip has formed in the dirt below the bottom stair of our deck. However, you would have thought it was an ever-extending canyon the way that our basset hounds act. It rains, the divot fills, and the dogs put the brakes on at the bottom of the stairs, refusing to cross the watery abyss below. So, a board walk was in order. I told them my plans, they gave their advice, and they even cut the wood for me! Thanks :)
Came in here to buy a washer and dryer. Looked up price compared to Lowe’s. When we said they were 30 dollars cheaper she said nothing and started talking to another customer. She also said they can’t get freight because there are no truck drivers. But we are truck driver and it put a bad taste in my mouth. So I’m on my way to Lowe’s. We are moving to the area and already not impressed with the Home Depot here.
We went to the front desk ask for help in the plywood they paged someone we waited 30 minutes still no help I had to keep asking for help when the guy did come to help we asked for help to load it man looks at us and says you cant do it your self he doesnt need to be working there in customer service he was rude
I had a exceptional experience ar Home Depot in Brunswick, Ga. with a customer service associate named Dee. Excellent knowledge and help with product purchase. I stated she needed a raise for her helping with my purchase however I was told no raises but I should acknowlegde her excellent customer service skills Marguerite H
Great experience at Home Depot today. Found a perfect sink yesterday, it was still on the truck so today I called, talked to Dashanna who was so helpful! She checked to make sure the sink was actually there, put it behind the customer service counter where it was waiting for me when I arrived.Very friendly and courteous. Great service. Thanks to everyone at Home Depot who helped me out today!
The only complaint is that even though they have a sign saying that face covering is required, people are still shopping with out one. If you are going to put up signs requiring face covering than inforce it! Otherwise the employees were nice and I was able to find everything I needed.
I always preferred Home Depot. However, my last visit, I was approached by a nice young lady. She asked I take a survey. I complied, of course. She was so nice. Today, I got a sales call obligating me to a water test of my home, in order to receive a gift card. If I needed a water test, I would have hired a professional to perform it. Sorry, Home Depot. Until this point, you were my favorite. No longer. As much as I dont like Lowes, Ill shop there from now on. Plus, they have Veterans Parking. Adios.
We live in Waycross and but found that Home Depot had more of what we needed for our building supplies than our local Lowes. Everything was more organized in departments, well stocked and more variety. We will be driving the extra miles to Home Depot to get what we need! Two thumbs up!!! 👍👍
I stopped in to look at a washer/dryer set that had excellent reviews online. I was delighted to find them on sale for $200 each less than Lowes. I had a wonderful salesperson Kelley Wray help me out. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I find that I am more pleased with Home Depot over Lowes overall with the entire shopping experience!
I was in your store Thursday the 31st of Oct. After finding the item I came in for, I walked around for 10 min. looking for an employee. Not finding one I went to customer service who said she would send someone to the aisle I was in. I waited another 15 minutes before I went back to the desk & told the girl that i would be taking my business to Lowes. That didnt seem to bother her in any way. My husband swears by Home Depot, but as he is deployed & my thermostat stopped working I was hoping someone could tell me if the one I had picked up was the correct. Thats all I wanted. Home Depot dropped the ball this time.
H.D. has a Home Project Card that is so helpful! My whole kitchen is going to be Beautiful when finished! And...The Staff, and Dept. Assc, are so Friendly and Helpful! Just last month alone we must of gone there 5-7 times (setting up everything) and getting what we needed to start. If you have a project you need supplys, Go to this Home Depot, Fantastic Staff!
Over all i like this home depot but Today I need help with something from hardware and the woman working in hardware Tuesday afternoon pointed me to where I was suppose to go then when i had questions seems to be annoyed that I was asking!! Next time I need something in Hardware I guess Ill try lowes down the road. Other. Than that my overall experience was pleasant.
Lets be honest, there is only one other main stream franchise that directly competes with this place, and that is Lowes. There are slight product differences between the two that may tip the scales for some to place the fifth star for Home Depot as opposed to Lowes. My perspective is only one perspective out of the masses but I weighed my decision as the two were so close based on the Military Discount. Lowes provides one.
I would recommend this store over their competitors anyday. I had made the mistake of going to their competition and the service there was so terrible I just left. I ended up going to Home Depot and had the best experience . I needed to build a sighn. I was actually asked if I needed help by an employee! I said yes please! I didnt really know what exactly I needed to build the sighn I was trying to make, but I did my best to explain. Jason was very helpful. He helped me find all the materials and cut and size everything for me! It was such a relief!! Thank you!
Today went to get something’s for the house and all went excellent, Sue was the truth and Ralph was awesome helping me check out. Well on the way out, one of the workers who is outside talking with an older gentleman, out of the blue ask to see my receipt, not a biggy but it made me feel a certain way, so me being me sat and watched person after person walk out and nothing. I go ask for the manager and Sam who is a sweetheart listened to my issue and thanked me at the end for my feedback! I would like to say thank you very much Sam for hearing me out, it would’ve been to easy to make this a race thing, but it was a standards issue, as I told her, “if you do it to one do it to all”. Overall fantastic day and I will go back!!!! Go team
I scheduled a curbside pickup for an order, i went to the link and clicked on the I am here button and no one responded, then I sent a text message as prompted on a billboard in the parking lot and still no response and no one came outside. I had to go inside and stand in line then wait for my order to be looked up and given to me, so why is there a curbside pickup option online in the order if it isnt working?
Store manager treated my elderly mother with no respect or accommodation. Mother had a $6000 building material order for delivery to her house. Then her Home Depot card wouldn’t authorize it due to non use. It had a zero balance with a $10000 credit.! Instead of helping her with the credit issue , nasty female store manager said she’d have to come into store with different payment. My 86 year old wheelchair bound mother couldn’t physically go. So she sent the Home Depot shopping list to the Lowe’s manager and got what she needed delivered, and for less money than what she was trying to pay at Home Depot. Hick female in charge here.
If it werent an emergency for two small children the water heater would of been left.Went to Savannah to see bout a water heater. After being told the one I need is $158. But didnt have any in store would have to go to Brunswick. Go to Brunswick home Depot and they say the water heater is 438.00. Ask to speak to manager and Katie comes up from and start with its 438.00. and thats it. All with an attitude. I thought for a min than thought of the kids and said fine. And when ahead with it.Ill never step foot in another one unless it to warranty this one! Done!
I purchased a toilet when I started installing it I found the tank was cracked. I packed it all up and took it back to the store. Where the nicest lady working assisted with the exchangeShe apologize for my inconvenience three or four times. I wish I had gotten her name.
Saturday after shopping for an hour, I was told at the self-checkout area that the system was down and the store could only accept cash. Only two cashiers were on duty so the checkout lanes were lined out into the aisleway. What a mess. It would have been appropriate for an employee to have been stationed at the entrance sharing the cash only news with everyone. I felt like I wasted one hour of my time because I left without my purchase. The store also seemed very short staffed as I looked for help in the paint department for a significant amount of time. Bad planning by someone in charge.
I went in today looking for a table saw walked around found one I thought that I wanted and tried to get some help to explain a few things to me. I was there about 20 minutes and no one came. I went to one of the tellers and she called for assistance in the tool area, again about 20 minutes past no one still came. I left without a table saw.
Worst manager ever woman named mel talked really bad about customers behind their backs herd her call one slow and stupied then one of the employees came to me to apologies and said she even talks about them calling one on the former employee a retard i dont know what you guys do to pick your managers but this is unnactable i will not come back ever again i dont tollerate bullies she should be dealt with this isnt the first time i had this problem with her and everytime i complaine you guys dont do nothing im tired of coming here and she has a attitude towards us every time im done coming to this store unless its solved
The cashier very kindly pulled up the store app & told me down to the minute detail of it being found on an endcap of aisle 24 where to find a tiny dowel that was just a couple inches long. Usually they just point in a general direction & youre still left trying to find something.
We bought a refrigerator from Home depot in Brunswick. The service IN the store is good but the Post purchase ... beyond the worst experience EVER!! They have not stood behind their product and I have now had the ice Maker replaced Multiple times. This LG is a lemon and after I spoke to LG they advised it should be replaced but it was under warranty with HD and they needed to put in for a replacement. The service - Warranty department will not not followed up. They have out and out lied about assistance and failed to return calls. I am going to be forced to seek out legal assistance for a Refrigerator that is less than 2 years old and has had a new Ice maker every 5 months approx. The worst part of this experience has been the poor service and treatment from HD. The last I heard a Icemaker was not considered part of the refrigerator??? WHAT insanity is that. I will make it my goal to assure I share this information on every social media until this department steps up and does the right thing!!! PLEASE SHARE AS WELL...

2022-03-11Went to buy a power tool. Of course those are locked up due to disadvantaged folks expressing their right to the American dream. No one around to unlock said tools. After about 20 min left and ordered tool online. Free delivery in a couple of days. If you dont absolutely need it now dont bother with a trip here.

2022-07-06Don’t buy an LG refrigerator. We’re on our second compressor since 2019.Only one outfit will service the unit from Jesup. LG corporate mixed reviews, they did provide the parts for the first and second compressor as well as other parts. Labor rate is very high to install.Disappointed with Home Depot selling us an untested fridge , a class action suit was started forThe faulty compressor. You are responsible for the research, can’t go by Home Depot recommendations.

2022-03-17Worse customer service. Was blatantly lied to by three employees. Was given a echo back pack blower as a gift that was purchased less than thirty days ago. Has less than three hours run time on it. It started acting up want stay running keeps bogging down. So I took for exchange for a new one. Was told by one worker that they would exchange she even asked if I had a receipt I did not just the box it came in. She said it was fine to go get another one 45 minutes and three workers later I get one then another worker tells me I have to pour fuel it if old one ok I did come back inside have old one have new one ready to do exchange this lady who has been treating me like Im low life trash this whole time. Asks me about receipt told her I did not have one it was a gift she then goes in about refund even though I told her I was exchanging it why did she think I had the new one there at the desk she then tells me I have to pay $39 dollars and wait twin momthst to get other old one back from there repair people. Its store policy without receipt I ask her to speak to a manager she lies to me says there isnt one working. Thenand walks off. Then another worker who had seen already comes up says he just talked to the manager on duty and that he agrees with the woman worker its store policy. The guy never once was on a phone , a walkie talkie no one had been around him. Did they talk telepathically. And the other lady just said there was no manager working. Then as I was leaving this guy and another worker come up he says hes the assistant store manager yet he has no name tag indetyfying as such just the orange apron with a name wrote in marker on it. He says he will not discipline the worker for lying and that this is store return policy .final. I come home look up home depot return policies no where does it say I have to have a receipt to exchange an item gas powered or not it only says after. Thirty days this is what. They do regardless if receipt or not but you have thirty days from purchase date. Wich this item was purchased in credit card so they record if purchase in there system and would know it has not been thirty days. I was treated like trash lied to a few times by three different workers I want shop there anymore thesewirkers are trying to rob customers even kept telling me about my refund even though I was standing there with the old item and the new one to exchange them. And had never once asked for a refund they just kept treating me like I stole the blower and was trying to get money for drugs or something. I would not suggest any one to shop there plus if you cant find something or have a question good luck finding a worker. And if you do its normally not there department and have no clue on how to help yo.

2022-02-07We bought 12 cinder blocks today and a lady got a guy and they had to really dig them cause they had other types of blocks on the ones we wanted. They didnt complain or roll their eyes. Very helpful employees

2022-01-30I went to the Brunswick Home Depot for some plumbing items after our pressure switch went out. Tommy helped me find the items and brought the bags of concrete to my van. He was nice and helpful.
