This store is always clean and organized. I like how there is usually enough staff here to get you whatever you need.
Its a typical Home Depot, decent selection an okay prices. I just finished a difficult remodel, and the employees were very helpful with accurate information. Id give their employees at this location 5 stars if I could.
Home Depot would be a lot better if # 1 go back to stocking the shelves after hours instead of when customers are trying to shop maneuver around ladders and stock left setting in aisles. Not mention the rude inconsiderate employees in the way putting up stock.# 2 hire more people that actually have knowledge of the products in the section they are working in. Most of them can only tell you what is written on the box about anything in their section. Hell I can read whats written on the box what I need and want to know is whats not written on the box. The Home Depot I go to most of the time Ive found 1 (ONE) person that is really helpful.Plus stop trying to force people to use self checkout by only half 1 cashier working. I dont work for Home Depot so I dont use self checkout now if you want to give me a employee discount I might reconsider using self checkout
My local hardware/home improvement store that still has employees in it that scatter when customer come down an aside . I basically have to figure it all out for myself ( thank goodness I use to work at one). It’s not hard to do. I go here when I can’t find what I am looking for else where. I did find the perfect item for an industrial island. I live in an old factory with concrete floors so this item is perfect. The Husky tool chest that they sell on wheels with a surge protector built in gave me extra counter space in my loft. I store all my knives, oven trays, kitchen towels, chopping boards, pots and pans in mine. When I move I can lock it up tight and wheel it onto the back of a moving truck without packing up a thing. The lined drawers are perfect for my kitchen accessories need. The come in great colors. Unless you want to spray one with Rustoleum to match your kitchen. It’s not just for tools ladies! And gents.

Everyone is very respectful of each others personal space and moves throughput the store in accordance with covid-19 guidelines. The staff here is very helpful and helps to streamline the shopping experience.
Have been dealing with Home Depot for years use to be a awesome store Now there employees stand around on phones you ask for help they will call for someone else and that employee knows nothing so you have to go look for another employee Please Train the Employees to do their jobs and quit dodging customers

I went to the garden center for a planter and potting soil. They have a wonderful selection in planters and place is well organized.Just got back to see the spring flowers selection. Outstanding again!
Its a smaller store and doesnt offer tool rental. I did however pickup a new thermometer for the grill. I would recommend this place to anyone as it is very clean and the people are very nice and helpful.

I love the home depot. But starting to wonder about a few things. Went into window section and had to wait forever for any assistance. Never did find an employer in the paint department. Then this morning my husband went to get mulch. They had 2 women loading trucks. So being the gentleman he is. He loaded his own truck with mulch. Why would they put women out there to load trucks with mulch? So needless to say, have been a little disappointed with The Home Depot lately. And again went to home depot for mulch. No One out there to help load it.
Bad customer service at the help desk, rude, and dont care what so ever.
Dont expect them to know what their stock is or to be done in a reasonable amount of time if the stock is on the top shelf.We went to get 2 inch foam core. The app said the same amount available for several days. We got to the store and 1 was in the 2 shelf. Then we waited 30 minutes for it to be retrieved.The workers were polite.
Nice big parking lot with outside pickup ....Some time people are mean ( its human nature i think) some staff members just dont know customer service skills so ignore that part.its the store in the small town ....Have so much to bring home or you can order online pickup at this store.....
Can never find anything. Attendants are not much help, lacking knowledge of where and the use of products. And the wood products ha! Everything from maple to pine warped and un-usable! Hello lowes of Dalton....
The price of common lumber has skyrocketed! I am in the middle of a big home improvement project, and dont know if Ill be able to complete it!
Found what we were looking for and some things we werent. Still didnt have the heater that we ordered off-line and it disappeared because it was delivered to wrong house. We got the money returned but still no heater...
Great Store. We were looking for lumber to use in an extended raised bed. We went to the Rome Store and after several attempts via paging for help someone came to assist us. I ask if they could cut the 3 planks in half so I could handle them. (I am 70 female) was told no and he walked away. I went to my vehicle & called Calhoun. The Gentlemen in Calhoun told me no problem . I drove to Calhoun & was met with may we help you & wallah they were cut & we left within 20 minutes. Great Store.👵
They have stocks of what you need and if they dont they will call and find out when you can get it

I recently ordered a bathroom vanity top from the website. We opened it and it looked good from the top. Once we took it out of the box to install it, we noticed the sinks were cracked. We returned it and reordered it, because I really like the color. Waited 2 more weeks for the new one. We inspected this one before we left the store. It was also cracked around the sinks and the quartz was also cracked. I also ordered a toilet, that came in and the seat was broken. Our local home depot doesnt carry the parts to fix it, so again I had to return it.

I love going here to shop for home supplies, the only reason Im giving 4 stars is because I order a whole shower kit with sliding glass doors. I had to make 3 trips to get it all on 3 different days. It was all there on the first day and they didnt know where to find my stuff.

Pulled in the parking lot and saw a whole truck of baled line straw. Walk in and loaded a cart with several other items I needed to include a new charcoal grill. Went to the register to pay and asked for ten bales of payment be straw. Was told they did not have any. I said there is a trailer full outside. Again I was told they did not have any. I said do you have someone who can walk out to that trailer over there. Was told again they did not have any. Did not purchase anything I had in my cart and left. Just dont like being called a lair.
I asked a employee if I could exchange a bottle of bug spray because the hose was crimped and I wanted to get in and back out of the store and she refused me with people without masks on in the store. She said Home Depot dont do that but yes they do let you exchange without delay , and caused me a 35 minute delay ! I was very unhappy !
To crowded I dont go there unless I just have to. They claim they dont carry regular white cornmeal as well! The manager is NEVER on the floor hes always back in his office. Something needs to be done about that. Wal-Mart cares more about money the bottom line than insuring products are available an customer service needs are meet. Calhoun GA Wal-Mart is a nightmare an I always try to pick my products up somewhere else.
Ordered an ice maker online. Realized i ordered the wrong item within 5 minutes. Unable to cancel the order, even called customer service and was told the item had already shipped. It had been 15 minutes since I actually placed the order. Was told there is no way to cancel the order, just wait until it is delivered and return it. Unbelievable! Will definitely return and purchase somewhere else!
People who work there are the greatest!! They are knowledgeable about their departments and always willing to help. But, the lumber prices have gotten ridiculously high the last couple of weeks. UP DATE i went to Calhoun store today to get some stain and I was really about to screw up my project. But, the young lady named Kady saved my tail. She is employee of the year in my book very knowledgeable in her department. Thank u so much
Not a 5 star today. Had to return 8 bags of mulch and because the employee in the check out in the garden area didnt know the protocol for returning something, causing 2 trips the the customer service desk and had to move my vehicle twice. Such an inconvenience!

Lowes has them beat in the plant department. With more unusual beautiful exotic plants. I would love to see Home Depot step up their garden center and pond supplies. Other than that Ive never had a problem. Couldnt find something once or twice but its a good store with helpful people and I wish them all the best.
Good luck finding anything. the staff has been depleted. If you know what you need you will be OK but if you need help good luck. 4 years ago when I moved here I used to brag on this particular home depot I have been to a lot of them and this one was the best. now it is just like the rest of them if not worse you can not find any help. I have spent a lot of money at this home depot but not anymore I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Went in to purchase a dryer, no associates were on the floor, finally got assistance after asking 3 times. Then was told they didnt have any in stock except for one style.
It was not good ,I tried to order something on line ,but they referred me to the nearest store as it was in stockthere,, they refused to give me the on line price, I pulled up the product and showed the price ,like on other items they honored it,but they refused, Ive been a cardholder for years but I will be rethinking it,your store manager there is the rudest one ever to be at the Calhoun store ,he will flat out call you a liar
Our favorite Home Depot!!!! Employees are always so friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and well stocked. We spend a lot of time here with all the repairs and projects we’ve had and gotten to know some of the incredible folks there. They always make our day and always eager to help us with advice and locating our needs for an efficient task :)

My visit to the paint department was EXCEPTIONAL! The young lady, whose name I didnt get, was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and provided exceptional customer service to me as well as multiple other customers while I was there. Her knowledge and experience is GREATLY APPRECIATED and she deserves some recognition for her service and professionalism!
I have always loved shopping at Home Depot for Bulk cleaning supplies and the garden departments are super nice in carrying the flowers that I have always loved!! Thank you Home Depot!!

Around here we do a lot of repairs and home improvement ourselves, so a good hardware store with everything we need is a lifesaver. They also provide some jobs, including some decent low skill jobs. Staff are great and the store is well kept. If you need something, they’ve got it.
I never have to hunt for help. The staff is great! They always offer to help and have a good knowledge of their products. The store is fairly clean and well organized. This is the best Home Depot I have been in and the other stores could learn a lot from their customer service!

Clean. In and out with ease. Employees are always nice and always ask if I need help finding anything! Which I always do.
I went in and worked around for a lil bit and the employees just walked by me like I wasnt even there. No help at all but I use to work for Home Depot in Canton ga and we pushed all employees to at the least say hey and ask if they need some help so I have to put blame on the managers and store manager for not pushing there team to be all about the customer.
Ive never been in any other Home Depot where every employee has an answer for you. So far Ive not felt blow off or ignored in this store, as I have become used to in other Home Depot stores. These associates dont just say I dont know. I love this place! Thanks for the great service!

I understand what theyre doing but the aisles and the center walkways are crammed with display cases sales kiosks whatever theyre called it is so crammed going down aisles you have to zigzag around all these cardboard displays its claustrophobic in there theyre taking on way too many skus trying to get too many products into their store versus expanding theyre just cramming everything into the aisles and walkways it makes it very claustrophobic and frustrating to walk and have to deal with people stopping and going and stopping and going theres no room to walk they really need to stop getting greedy with their skus and reduce their product lines and open up the floors again youre forcing people to social distance with these boxes I get it but its to the point where I dont even want to come into your store anymore
Home Depot has become my Go to store for everything I need to update or maintain my home. They always have what I am looking for and I usually come out with more than I had originally went I for. Great employees always knkw exactly what I am looking for even when I dont know what it is called!
Very big staff but always have a hard time finding help when needed. At least wait an average of 30 before someone actually comes to help. Definitely needs to be addressed.
Good place for all kinds of great products. I needed a new auger for the crapper, and the one I bought was so much easier to use, and as effective as I hoped for. Comparing this new one to the old one is like, well, there is no comparison. Go to the the site and look at the cheap $8 to the $33. I buy whatever I need there, granted not much as I live in a duplex. Go there for anything you need. The employees are pleasant, very knowledgeable, and go out of their way to help you.
The only problem I ever have is like today the plumbing section got a reset so it was hard to find what I needed no telling what all else was changed.. time is very important when youre a contractor.. overall a great store thats where we do most our business ..
The customer service sucks....placed on online order for over$1000 and when I went to pick it up it was not all there and part of it was damaged. The part that was not there was damaged in shipping and no one reordered it and they contacted me to tell me it was all there. Them when it wasnt they had to re order it and it will take over a week to get what they should have fixed before they called me to tell me it was all in stick. And no one gives a shut that I am inconvenienced. Home Depot sucks.
I visited there today to get some things that I needed to hook up my water purifier to the faucet in a hotel room and the gentleman there I wish I would have got his name he got right on it gave me exactly what I needed came back to the hotel hooked it up exactly so now I can have good alkaline micro clustered hydrogenated filtered good clean water. Thank you Home Depot keep up the great work.
I posted the five star rating approximately 4 months ago. well, about a month ago I was back in the store to get some wood to replace the steps leading to the front door of our home. The associate in the lumber department who helped me, I believe Quinn was his name (if not, it was something like that), was beyond helpful, patient and fully engaged with me as a customer. He offered advice and tips and with his knowledge, I was able to pick out exactly what I needed to get the job done right the first time. Home Depot needs a while store of people whose name may or may not be Quinn. :-)
Home Depot is my favorite store to be in, honestly. It smells great, theres tools everywhere, friendly people wearing work aprons, a great plant section...its so good. Ive got to be careful not to walk out with one of everything..
Took over 2 hours to order a refrigerator and after we finally got someone there they locked our account by overcharging our account! So needless to say last time I will be ordering anything from calhoun home depot! Highly recommend to look elsewhere!
Waited 40 minutes to get help to get wire off of rafters. Went to front 4 times thru out this 40 mins to ask for help was told help is on the way everytime. At the 35 minute mark i called into the store lady on phone said she would page for someone never did. Waited a few minutes and finally seen someone and flagged them down then took another 10 before they came over to get my wire. If didnt need it so bad wouldnt of waited or gave them my service
Good experience at the Calhoun store. Ive never been to this location before; doing a job nearby. Got great help from an employee named Cowboy. Helped me find a few items, helped me load my truck, strap everything down, etc. Great employee
Nice Home Depot store. Did not like the checkout experience. Bought a new Honda lawn mower here on 3/24/19. Paid for it at the checkout. The female running the register was preoccupied talking to another female during the process. She never spoke a word to us except to give us the total due. After paying $400+ there was no thank you, no have a good day, nothing. Very rude. Think I will go back today and return my items and go where my business is more appreciated.

Garden department is a joke!!Been shopping at this home depots garden centre for 5 years but no more. Went in today at 7:20 pm to find garden entrance closed. Despite this, went all the way around to try and get some mulch and soil. Had a few questions regarding plants on sale ( marked as sale but no price reduction on sticker)- not a single soul there to ask! 20 min later, still noone. Went around to customer service , had to wait my turn to ask a simple question why on earth theyve closed the door AND checkout and have noone attending the whole department before 8:00 pm. The answer was, we close whenever we feel like , theres no set time. Excuse me what?! So you expect me to push a cart full of soil all through the store then back through the parking lot ? No thank you. Will be going to other Home Depots from now on.
Just like any other Home Depot. The people that work there are friendly, but several of them seem like they lack any basic home improvement knowledge and often I ask an employee a question and they simply read the box (as I already had) and just make some seemingly random guess....often times its blatently wrong and not thought out .... So great home Depot, friendly people, but know what you want and dont ask too many questions.
Everyone I spoke with, was friendly and extremely helpful. Im looking for a particular type of generator, which they dont have in stock at the stores. So Dale, took time to look up what I needed online and even printed it for me. He also gave me some much needed money saving advise as to what to purchase for my needs.
After being sent all over northwest georgia for a tool set my husband was needing calhoun asst store manager mr talerico went out of his way to help me find one and more than made it right. My husband is a veteran not able to get out ot our home. I his wife have to take care of him and the home repairs I purchased cut off valves for bathroom. I had his vet ID and my Id but they would not hornor it. I have no problem at Lowes. I have no intention of purchasing anything else from Home Depot despite them being much closer and we have a lot of remodeling to be done.I will go the extra miles to Lowes for good service.
Very unhelpful. Associates briskly walk away when you look like you need help or completely avoid you when needing help finding stuff. Had to ask for help finding someone from cashiers 4 times they said they called someone, but they still never showed up eventually had to ask another customer who helped me find what i needed. Service was very poor.
I love this place and wouldnt go anywhere else. I always have the best shopping experience and feel like all the employees are catering to all my needs. They asked me to leave!! The audacity! They said I couldnt come back and all I did was have a little fun time with a garden flamingo I mean I only need 46 seconds whats the big deal. My pants were only half way down I mean come on. I cant help the flamingo was looking dumb thicc I could hear those flamingo cheeks clapping from across the store so really its the home depots fault for selling such sexy flamingos.

The people at Calhoun Home Depot are Great! They are very friendly, helpful and will make things right. We bought a deck box and paid $119.00 and left the box to be assembled. Two days later we went to measure the dimensions of the box so that we could have the place to put it ready when we picked it up the next day. When we got there the price on the box then was $69.98, it was the wrong price sticker on the box, but Calhoun Home Depot honored that price and refunded us the difference. That is what I call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The people that work there ( at least the ones I encounted were just awesome). From the gorgeous lady that was up there by the check out registers on the Construction side to the that very nice lady working the register by the Big doors. Usually have great service very disappointed today Im picking through 1 by 6 8 ft long treated lumber I have three left to go theres no more good ones waiting around for someone to help me another service guy comes up ask me to move my cart so he can help a guy that come in after me and has been probably waiting for 5 minutes so he takes my cart pushes it out of the way moves a whole bunch of carts in front of where I was working not impressed at all. I tell the kid Im going to Lowes he said okay . so I left
I used to love going to Home Depot but Home Depot does not like Veterans and took away the discount for Veterans, on the otherhand, LOWES likes and respects the American Veterans and gives a discount to ALL Veterans and Active Duty Military, they give it on ALL items even on sale items and even on clearance items, they give it every day of the year. So this us the reason that I DO NOT PATRONIZE Home Depot and this is the reason I am a LOYAL LOWES CUSTOMER! !!

Calhoun store has stopped giving 10 percent discount to veterans. They should not advertise they give it if they are not going to honor it. The lady at my checkout was more interested in letting me know that she was the head cashier and they do not honor veterans unless you are current, retired or disabled. My 4 years of service during the Vietnam era means nothing to them. Add home depot to the list of read the fine print. Im taking my business to Lowes. They honor all veterans and even their family members get the veterans discount. Most home depot stores will but not the one in calhoun.
I can say just down load the app if you go there. You will have the same knowledge as any employee. Horrible customer service!!Not just on one occasion either. I am in there three times a week most weeks. I wished caylor industrial was closer
Me and My husband just bought a house in Calhoun. Ive always loved Home Depot so we went there to get the items we needed to repair our home. The service just isnt good unless you as the customer stick your neck out to get help, once you get help, the employees are great! Please TAKE THIS WARNING do NOT go through the rain soft company through Home Depot. I will no longer shop at Home Depot by how horrible the rain soft company has been to me. Take my advice, STAY AWAY from the water company. They will harass you and try to manipulate you! Im sad Home Depot lost my service but it seems things continue to not get worked out.

Spent more time helping other customers more than anything else. The help in this store is very scarce and the ones that are in the garden center are nice but have knowledge concerning the products.

Had to ask 3 different staff members to help locate and item. Only after asking 2 people, a gentleman ( staff) walked me to the item instead of just pointing to i think its in thw middle isle.
I wrote a note four years ago about this store and its employees. Nothing has changed, thankfully. Compared to Lowes and some Home Depots, the employees here run to you instead of from you. Lastly, it should be a universal requirement that everyone should work in retail for a couple months before they are turned loose on society.

Called ahead 90 minutes and prepaid. Order was to be waiting on a pallet at the door. I arrived at the prescribed time, but nothing had been done about filling my order. Wasted over 30 minutes waiting for them to get their act together. For a few extra bucks a local building supply store would have delivered this to me. Next time that will be my choice.

Whoever is running curbside an/or answering the phone is very rude. Instead of being courteous and helpful she would rather just hang up on you and make you feel like you are a huge inconvenience to her.

Anyone shopping for a refrigerator, please know that LG does not service the Calhoun/Gordon area. There is a severe problem with LG refrigerators failing and no solution to be found even with warranties. My family and I have been with no refrigerator since September with little hope from LG for a solution. Home Depot does not manufacture the refrigerator. Just a fair warning for those doing the proper research!
Customer service is BS everytime you have to deal with these people its at least an hour if not more most of the time Im waiting for the manager to bring the cash they owe me on a return half of it was debit the other was cash hour and 20 mintues later and Im still waiting

Didnt have what I needed and waited 45 minutes for help but cashier gave me a good deal on other things I bought on my way out so Im overall pleased.

This store took our money for an order to be delivered on March 28th and has refused to deliver the materials. I believe it is fraudulent and that they are a dishonest organization that can’t be trusted. Do not buy from this store!

They have what I need for my summer garden. Seeds, plants, flowers, garden soil, potting soil, container plants, gloves, and novelties. One stop for all my gardening needs. The line looked long but the cashier moved it fast. I had a buggy and two flat pull carts and the cashier had me checked out quick.
No help. Difficult to get carts. Unorganized. Staff not friendly or helpful. Extremely frustrating. Purchased half of items that I wanted. Go somewhere else.

It was really busy but self checkout had no lines & the staff is very friendly & eager to help direct you where you need to go or help you find a product that you need.

If you go into plumbing at 9:30 pm, the guy working there when I was in need of an emergency fix, was AWESOME! 3min and I was on my way to the register.
They always ask me if Im looking for something they can help me find. They always smile and seem inviting and ready to acomidate me while shopping.

The lady working in the plumbing department at the Calhoun, GA store was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She even showed me how to use the part I was purchasing!

Yes went in here that day to get stuff with my cousin for her boss and for her job. Cleaning supplies for the kennel and looking at the Christmas trees for another one of my cousins. Was a splindid visit.

Need to work on their customer service. Walked around the store for 30 minutes and not a single employee said hi or asked if I needed any help.
Picked up our paint, air filters, etc. Checked ourselves out, needed help and had to ask for it, even though the attendant was right there. She must have been half asleep.
Staff always helpful and willing to go the extra mile. HD the only hardware store I shop at now.

My contractor ordered some Anderson windows from the pro desk at the Home Depot in Calhoun 6 months ago.The windows came in without screens. The pro desk has repeatedly told me for the last 3 months they would order the screens and after 5 phone calls to the pro desk, I still do not have my screens. I am told I will receive a return phone call when I leave a message and my calls are never returned. Very poor customer service!
If they dont have it, you probably dont really need it. Staff are customer friendly.

Great place for all home owners needs just need a check out center in the middle of the store where you walk in. Very time consuming to walk to the end of the store to check out and then walk back to center of the parking lot.

2021-12-26Just purchased this echo dot which was in this display. Got two of them because the price was great only to be told that this was the wrong one and they were $10 more. The cashier gave me one at the $19.99 price, but refused to match the price for both even though the mistake was theirs. To me this is not good customer service.

2022-05-22Oh my - one of my favorite stores. Personnel always helpful and so knowledgeable. This time of year picking up top soil for raised beds and special large mulch for flower beds. Vegetable plants healthy but a little over priced. Belwood nursery higher quality and more reasonably priced.

2022-04-29The Home Depot is your place to go whenever you need building supplies, appliances, countertops, cleaning supplies, nuts and bolts, kitchen sinks, and anything in between!The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous! They will gladly help you find anything you need. They will even cut wood to your specifications, saving you the step. Especially if you dont own the proper equipment to do it yourself. They are a single womans best helper!

2022-06-20Help was there for me. I asked an associate for what I needed and he walked me through and made sure I had the correct item, size and grade of the item I needed. A second associate even came over to make sure I was ok. Self checkout was a breeze. Great experience.

2022-07-09This place is often lacking on inventory or at least the things I need. If you want a military discount, make sure you have the app on your phone verifying that you are military and good luck with signal. Having a military ID just isnt good enough anymore. Lowes is so much better.

2022-03-03A lot of times the inventory online doesnt match the actual store. Most employees are just warm bodies filling an apron. If you frequent there, you will know who the knowledgeable employees are and seek them out.
