I came through for paint. Issac was extremely helpful and polite. He went way out of his way to make sure that I got exactly what I needed. The store was short staffed and Issac was covering multiple areas. He was helping people check out and helping mix paint at the same time. Give this guy a raise, he certainly deserves it!
11/7/2021Went to the store this morning and waited for over 30 minutes in the cutting tool section for an associate just to confirm a product was in stock as viewed by the online inventory. No help anywhere & no assistance. Moved onto the next item on my list in the plumbing section. Again I found the items but needed help & for almost 29 minutes no assistance from anyone except another customer gave me some advice & helped me out greatly. Now since I’ve wasted almost an hour I moved onto the most important & complicated item on my list… a storm door. I had my measurements but still had questions & needed a lot of help. Almost 45 minutes, two employees were helping one other customer and one couldn’t break off from the other I guess to assist me. So I go to wood department to a register and explained I had not received any help or couldn’t find anyone to give me a hand. I asked the employee where I could get a different carrier/cart that could handle moving a door and the guy actually says “I don’t know”. WTH!? Then he proceeded to ask me did I look at the door or in the parking lot, I told him there wasn’t any at the front door when I came in, his IDC response was look outside. 🤬🤬🤬. Went outside and a young man named Cameron or Caleb went and found me one & provided more customer service than anyone other employee there! Now back to the door situation, not one damn fraction of customer service! Highly disappointed & disgusted with today events and this store location.
Yesterday the 4th of September my LG microwave quit, we bought it new when we moved in this house 7 years ago it has worked trustfully up till yesterdayWell I go to home depot and find one just like it just one problem.... It is a display and they wont sell it to me they do not have another one on the shelf so I said okay go ahead and order me one figured it would be here in a couple of days well they tell me it wont be here till the 27th,I explained to the lady that I work a lot of hours and sometimes I dont get home until late since theres no one here but me now I need something quick, so I eat a lot of frozen dinners I told the lady I said if its going to be that long just give me that small one right there and Ill be happy well she stood there and thought about it a little bit and lo and behold she gave me a small white microwave because I asked her for it.I was well pleased with the service I got and I told the young lady thank you and she wished me a good dayA satisfied customer......
I definitely consider this Home Depot to be the best store of its kind in town. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and selection is great. They have also adjusted to the covid-19 scenario by adding curbside pickup which I appreciate. The only reason I did not give five stars is that I consistently have to wait a long time at customer service, e.g. when I need to return something.
Went to buy a washing machine on Saturday had to go to customer service desk to get someone paged waited 15 minutes for someone to show up they acted like they could careless only to be told they would have to order and it would be November 1st .. would not sell me the floor model either.. was told everyone had to order them .. looked on Lowe’s website they had 3 in stock .. went to Lowe’s and purchased
Had a hard time finding the fitting that I needed. So I bought the wrong one. Then asked about camp gas for grill. Three associates send me to the wrong isle. Only to find that I couldnt buy a single can. I had to buy 2 pack. So I opted to shop elsewhere. UPDATE: the above is from a bad attitude and once I slept and matured, I knew that all that was my attitude Home Depot is a great place I love shopping there..
I went to Home Depot today and it was so helpful I would just like to thank the workers Z Philip and David they was so nice and polite and I got what I needed they even help me load it up so if you ever up at the Cedartown Home Depot ask for them they know what theyre doing thank you all again
I bought a Amana Dishwasher from Home Depot around November of 2019 and the other day it stopped working. I called the store about the extended warranty to see if they could look up the order. They said the only way they can look it up is by name are phone number. They have my name and I gave them every phone number I had back then and they werent able to find it. It less than a year and a half old and they cant find the order. I think from now on I will shop at Lowes. This is crazy that they cant find the order.
My family received excellent service this morning from associate Willis Rogers in the Cabinet Department at the Home Depot in Cedartown Ga.Mr. Rogers went the extra mile in helping my son plan a workable kitchen remodel from our crude plans and measurements.He was a pleasure to work with and made numerous helpful suggestions.Thank you Mr. Rogers for your help, your professionalism and your positive attitude!
I would like customers to be aware of the theft by deception taking place during covid. Home Depot has stated because of supply and demand they have been left with no other option but to hire unskilled employees. That being said the employees are not inspecting damaged or defected materials and products sold to customers. I would like to share one of many of my experiences as a business owner. We have been sold appliances with dings and scratches that had been inspected by Home Depot. The appliances was delivered damaged and while bringing them into the home they caused damage to the property. This was brought to Darrell Joe Ritchie the store managers attention.
Bought a whirlpool microwave 2 weeks ago had to return because was over heating and shutting down . Returned this evening and exchanged had to return this one also . Was interested in a different model to purchase had appliance department manager call to show what he had in stock .He stated all over the range microwaves had to be special ordered. When I questioned about the over the range ovens on the shelf that I could plainly see he gave the same answer . I stated I had purchased the other 2 off the shelf never got an answer . Seems was more important to get back to the front and stand around than to make a sale . Will not be going back to Home Depot rather drive 25 miles to Lowes .
This is pretty much a Home Depot except for the workers. They are wonderful about helping you find what you need. I am forever going in to get stuff for my handiperson and special light bulbs and stuff like that. The day people recognize me and if they see something in my hands because that is the best way to get what I need and they just ask if I need a replacement for it and take me right to what I need. They are wonderful!
I am sadly disappointed in this store. Went in to buy a dryer, and there was none in stock. NONE! So, too much confusion about getting the old one taken away. Had to order the new one and I have to call them about getting the old one removed. Poor coustermer service. Wont use them again.
We experienced some of the best customer service from an employee called Mark. He went over and beyond with everything he made sure we were completely happy and I appreciate that we dont experience much of that in Cedartown and it refreshing to know there is kindness and generosity still in this world. Thanks Mark for everything!!!
I am never coming back to this place, the worst customer service ever. I asked a cashier named Tina for help she just rolled her eyes and gave me an attitude and said that was not her job .I have never witnessed anything like this in my life. Home Depot needs better people working there .Like i said i will NOT be coming back .You can thank Tina for it .I have been coming to Home Depot for years and now that comes to an end .
This is a review of Home Depot delivery service Cedartown Ga . I ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot and had a delivery time of by 730 pm . At around 7 I got a phone call saying the truck broke down In Buchanan . Which is about 30 minutes away. I questioned the lady about it and all I got was a lot of smart attitude. So I canceled the 2000 dollar purchase. If I were Home Depot I would not use this service. I don’t believe the truck broke they were going to be late so she lied .
Its okay. So long as you know what you are after. If you need help... good luck. The last few times I been there I saw like 8 people outside giving away hotdogs and couldnt find hardly anyone in the store. This past time I saw employees standing around talking to each other and only on register open. And on the one or two times I have asked for help... yeah. No one there has a clue. Do yourself a favor and get the home depot app. And when you need something look it up and the app will tell you the aisle and the bay number. Find it that way. And leave the workers to stand around and talk about baby pictures and facebook.
Awful experience everytime which is alot because theres not alot other places to get lumber. Any other store I would prefer. Never any assistance and you get the pleasure of showing the cashier how to check yourself out no matter what your holding! This is the perfect place to load your cart, check yourself out, and then load your car full self service store at full retail prices. They should at least give you an apron to wear for all your hard work.
I have found Cedartown, Ga. Home Depot to be good overall. Im no fan of self checkout but there is always a real cashier in the construction register in the back.The gentleman who works in plumbing is very good and he is always glad to help. I frequent this store because of convenience and things are usually in stock.
We ordered a stove that was not delivered to us on the scheduled delivery date. Now we will not have a stove in time for Thanksgiving. We have spent over 100 dollars on groceries and have family coming now we will have no oven. I thought it was initially Spirit Deliverys fault but it turns out Home Depot did not have the oven we ordered. At this point its like whose to say really, because we have gotten a different story every time we have called. Not to mention how difficult it is to get a hold of someone. I emailed customer care with no response and was told by there texting service that the email is no longer monitored. So, dont use the customer service email.

On our project, time was lost because this was the closest Home Depot to exchange the product; eventhough, it was not initially purchased at this store. The employees were not able to access the receipt look up system at first. Then, a manager was called and still unable to locate. It was getting late. Hopefully, they really couldnt find the receipt and not rushing us out of the store. Thank you for asking for the feedback.
My back door got kicked in, I went to home depot to get replacement piece. They would to what I needed, so I went get wood to board up back door. Phalen hearing of my story from others in the came to the rescue and saved my bad day. He supplied to wood needed to the back door. Thank you Phalen for all of your help.
You literally cannot find help. Weve been in a good bit recently on the building materials side and couldnt find any lumber carts... tried both sides, but we saw one on every aisle with something on it but no one using it! It took 20 mins, and we finally just used a regular grocery cart! Some workers seemed annoyed that we would ask about lumber.. one guy insisted that 6x6 were 8×8 just so he wouldn t have to get the 8x8s we needed 🙄 It has been this way a few times recently.They do have a handful of helpful workers though, and thats very appreciated!
I visited the garden center as well as the kitchen and bath section.I needed alot of help with my choosingThe right cabinets and countertopsFor my small kitchen area the staff was great and most helpful my kitchen turned out great. Thanks to the kind service and knowledge of the staff.
Bought a brand new chainsaw and tried to use it the next morning..hard to start and wouldnt stay running. When returned it got an attitude and didnt even care that I had all the trouble with it no reimbursement for all stuff I used..go to a Lowes save yourself the hassle
This store is ALWAYS understocked. I try to go to Lowes in Rome when possible. Mostly because there, the employees are always extremely helpful, whereas at Cedartown Home Depot they act like you are interupting them to ask a question; used to be very pleasant going there. Now it is just going to get what you HAVE to have. Why are the employees so unhappy acting now? I miss the old way.
Worst place to buy never buy anything from this place we buy washer and dryer 8 weeks back but the just deliver washer and dryer they said its damage so they deiver next week but toady its the 8th week and we still not getting our dryer and here store manager is so rude that she is not ready to give our product and she is doing discrimination with us worst place I recommend not to buy anything from here
This was my first time shopping at this particular Home Depot and I wont be back. I went there immediately after I got off of work to by supplies needed for a project that I only had time to complete this weekend. The cashier told me that the 4x4x8 LST were $3/peice. I tried telling her that the price tag clearly read $7/peice, but she insisted that they were $3. That fit perfectly into my budget, so I ran to find other supplies I was going to need for later. I cashed out as soon as the store was closing and when I was outside loading my purchase, one of the reps told me I had paid for the 3x5x8 LST. They would only give me my money back and when I decided to return the extra supplies, they locked the doors and WOULD NOT let me back into the store to correct THEIR mistake. I was furious! WILL NOT BE BACK!

2022-04-09We had excellent help in the appliance section from Amber. Then when we went up front to checkout we ran into a slight issue. We had 3 ladies trying to get us taken care of. Finally, Christy went above and beyond to help us out and make sure we our purchase went through.

2022-06-21Dont go here. nothing is organized, everything is overpriced and every single thing i have bought here has came broken. and of course, no returns. delivery doesnt work either so dont bother. tried to order a stove and refrigerator but it got rescheduled 4 times and still never showed up. refund took 2 weeks. this store has pretty much stolen at least $5,000 from my husband and i.

2022-04-22This is the worst home depot there is in the state of GA. Especially going in there at 6:30 in the morning and picking up materials for the company my husband works for. The cashier was sitting her fat rear end at a register dont work you haveto push the cart over here . Ok i did well the sticker was on theother end . Instead of getting off her fat rear and scanning the wood with her gun. She fat witch was to lazy and told me to turn my cart around so she can scan it.. remind you I have a cart full of heavy wood..what happen to customer service? What happen to we are happy to help? I called the manager and she said would address this. But Im there every morning and obviously its not been addressed because they employee is still not helping as she should.work. So I thought it worked . Well I had wood and pushed the cart there. She said oh that registry

2021-08-20Provided literally hours of entertainment for my husband. He would have stayed longer but I was able to bribe him out of the store with a promise of a coke from McDonald’s. Would get five stars if they added a waiting room/lounge/wine bar.
