The Home Depot in other cities:
2/25/2022, what a difference a day makes....went to pick up my order had tp pull to the bay area because I had my trailer. The folks were amazing, fast, professional, very polite and efficient, totally different from what I got last week. 3/18/2022 ONE STAR Home Depot needs to work on their online pickup orders! I waited for 25 minutes for the order to come to my car, only to have the guy tell me they will be out with the rest of your order in a minute....15 minutes later I called, yes they are working on it, 10 minutes later I am on the phone again and a girl comes to my window telling me THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY of my fence posts!!!!!!!!!!! Now remind you, I was informed by email, yesterday that they are there and ready for pick up! Went to Lowes where I had to pay $1.50 more each. When I got home and called online customer service to cancel the posts she said I should be upset. The order actually indicated that the items were picked which means already set aside for my order. WTH Home Depot.
Looking for a filter for my mothers refrigerator and the lady back there and appliances told me what all the structures were owned and then I asked her tell her I didnt know what size it was whatever she told me I had to go back there never got out of her seat they told me to go back there and find it myself basically
I cant say anything negative about this location. Its in Loganville off of 78.Ive now lived in Walton County for 7 years and last year we built out our basement room by room. We sourced 90% of our materials from that store.I found out in the flooring department they have clearance flooring when the stocks out and no new supply comes in. We were able to find 18×18 tile that was 29.00 a box reduced to 5.00. There was roughly 20 boxes so we got all of it and even found there was some similar in color but was like 18x12 and it was on sale at another store so we were able to complete 5 rooms for under 250.00.All of folks that work there that we dealt with will help you at any capacity.Weve been shopping here for along time and will continue to.
Normally its a good experience but today however while waiting at the paint counter that had 3 employees at it. One was help one man, while the other two employees were help another man and continued to walk past me helping this man. I have never seen it take two employees to help one man and leave someone waiting without even acknowledging me.
I want to thank the store manager, Jeff and his entire staff at the Loganville, Georgia store for service above and beyond the call of duty. They bent over backward locating 44 fence panels for us. We are more than pleased with the professional team and their seamless assistance from purchase to delivery. 5 stars is not sufficient to thank them for their dedicated attention to detail. Before you cancel Home Depot and its employees, stop and appreciate the people that are dedicated to helping you without hesitation. They deserve your business because they earn your respect.
The service in the door department was excellent. The woman who helped us was extremely informative and went above and beyond to answer our questions even though she knew wed have to complete our purchase at the original place of purchase which was in Snellville. Her customer service was very appreciative.
I went in. Picked my lumber. I go to HD alot. Do not usually have to ask employees for help. But when i do they are helpful. At least i have never had a bad interaction with any depot employee. Maybe i am lucky or in general they are people like us, doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. Good enough for me. GOD BLESS AMERICA
After having a TERRIBLE experience with Lowes across the street, we decided to try Home Depot for a new dishwasher. The woman who helped us (I cant remember her name) was quick and efficient when helping us place the order. The dishwasher was delivered 3 days after the order. Installation team did a great job and we love our new Maytag dishwasher.
My house burned downi n 2019 right after losing home owner ins. Due to being out of work after an accident...knowing each home depot store has 1mil.a year per store for donations a friend went to them on my behalf.it room 4 months to get 4. Mgrs 2 approve .then covid hit and they werent helping anyone supposedly.but assured me they were going to help (at least with materials). I even explained it would be less cruel to just tell me they couldnt help than keep my fam.waitimg for nothing. Then after two years they say one more mgr in monroe has to approve . Then after me having to chase him down .he says the best they could do is offer me a 50 dollar gift card.or if I had a house maybe they could help with maybe a washer or dryer. Devistating experience.after yrs of being a loyal customer now Im not sure where ill shop
I came in less than hour to closing time for short list of supplies for my first major DIY project and Genesis was so helpful! From picking out the the right size nail to making sure I got the correct length of a 4*4 and cutting it to size, he was very knowledgeable and helped me in a fast, efficient way while answering all of my questions in a pleasant manor. Thanks so much!
Bought some bathroom fixtures for a customer who ran out of money was able to finally complete job tried to bring back left over with recipt would not help said it was not carried in store and that there is nothing they can do now I paid money for it have recipt still nothing it seems that you do what is asked of you and they dont care that is why I refuse to go back to Home Depo I will be canceling my credit cards with them and going Lowes were they care about customers
Its got a lot of stuff on the shelves, most of which I know what do. When I dont know what do, I ask, and they know. Like why do they call it oven when you oven in the cold food of out hot eat the food? Who knows. Jenny the cashier did, making her tonights big winner.
Ordered online and went in for pickup. They tried to send me out with trash lumber, next my mobile order is missing items. I retrieve most, however several were never added to my cart, so now I am short items and Home Depot claims I received them. Employees, and manager had poor attitude. Ill drive to another home depot before returning to this poorly run store.
The Loganville location is such a great location. Went in to browse flooring and counter tops. The guy who helped me with flooring was so patient and knowledgeable. The lady who helped me in kitchen was very energetic and helpful. She helped me set up my free in home design consultation! The in home consultant Everrett came out to my home.It was a very professional and thorough experience. I learned so much about the kitchen remodel process. Im looking forward to do more business with home depot!
Horrible experience! Home Depot uses a 3rd party delivery service to deliver my appliances. The delivery guys was ranking of marijuana & high as a kite, loud music playing on there cell phone upon entering my home, & making up excuses why they couldn’t install my appliances because they were too high to install which a huge liability. They argued with my husband until I asked them to leave my property and take they appliances back. Home Depot or JB Hunt did nothing to compensate what we had experienced. We purchase top of the line appliances therefore we expect top of the line service. The 3rd party delivery service uses a temp service without no background check or drug test. Very surprised of a huge chain store like Home Depot of whom I thought was great until a few days ago. I will never purchase anything that requires delivery again .
People inside the store were helpful as always. I have issues with them helping you load things you have purchased. I had to load my concrete blocks myself yesterday until an older gentleman came to help me. Today I had same problem but an associate was outside taking a break. He did say he could help me but he was on break. It was obvious he did not want to give up his break. He came over to ask what I was using them for and the watched me load them for a minute.
Stood in line for about 15 minutes waiting to get to the pick up desk. The whole time, another customer was being extremely rude to everyone including me. She was being indirect, but you knew she was talking to talking us. The clerk overheard it, then sided with her making the rest of us look like we were in the wrong. Left store, returned later to pick up cabinet since refund had became a hassle. Then was told the cabinet was located at another store, which I plainly showed the clerk it was ordered here and was told it was ready to pick up. After some time, they finally brought it up to the front of the store. I know hardware stores are usually always a hassle, but this had me heated. The gentleman who brought me the cabinet was extremely helpful, atleast they have a few people their who know how to talk to people.
Their Christmas tree selection was great. We have had our tree for two weeks now, and it hasn’t dried out at all. Staff was very helpful and strapped my tree to my car for me. He even said “Merry Christmas” to me and my kids after a few minutes of friendly small-talk. It was a great experience.
We went only to get bug spray but who can go to this store and not spend more money than intended. I had to ask an employee where some blades were for a knife and he was very friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and the shelves stocked. I havent ever experienced any bad customer service. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recomend this store.
When needing help at the paint counter I first was helped by a lady who seemed to be somewhat impatient as I had a few questions, however, a gentleman named Shane intervened and was able to assist me by answering my questions that needed to know before selecting what stain I fit my needs the best. It seems to me to be a great training opportunity.
I have always liked home depot, however lately their customer service seems to be on the decline. Picking up online orders can be frustrating. Recently I accidentally left two purchased items at the self checkout. When I realized it and returned a few hours later, I was treated like I was trying to con them. They said they would check loss prevention cameras and contact me, but they never did. The kicker was when the lady at customer service looked at my receipt after I told her I had used self checkout and said you werent at self checkout... I can understand skepticism and the need to verify when someone makes a mistake as I did, but calling them a liar when you are clearly wrong is unacceptable. Im contemplating canceling my Home Depot credit card and opening one at Lowes.
Great place usually had what ya want. Went 3 times today for plumbing stuff.... some one was there in the aisle to help so that was nice. They dont have a big selection of totes like other locations do but no real problems. Saw 2 puppers on my multiple trips that made me smile for sure. All in all a pretty good experience.
I just visited and had to leave without buying the items I needed. The entire lumber department was closed off and I was told by another customer that they had been at it for over an hour already. Im a pro customer and my time is too expensive and important to wait on them to move stock around. I am a longtime customer of this store and up until the last year, maybe two, it has been an excellent store. You always would see the same familiar, friendly faces, who were knowledgeable about the store and would go out of their way to help. Not anymore, now those faces are gone, replaced by a constant turnover of new employees. You hear employees bickering with each other and making complaints about working there. Thats a sure sign of poor management.
Nary a cart to be found inside the store. The right side of the lumber aisle is lined with carts so you can’t even get to the lumber. Lumber is never stacked. Yesterday the line at the contractors exit was all the way to the back and they only had on of the registers open. If you are a manager reading this, DO BETTER!
The majority of the workers there were nice and really have no complaints against them. However, it only takes one person to spoil the pot. I was browsing the fridge and freezer section and was genuinely interested in purchasing a fridge but the gentleman working in that section was so concerned with completing his task of changing the floor prices above the fridge he turn away one customer with a question and didnt bother even asking if I needed help. I stood around the fridge I wanted for about 10 minutes and he passed me 5 or 6 times. In the end I brought my fridge online from best buy.
I love THD but out here in Loganville not everyone is customer orientated. It’s so bad that I have actually had to begin recording every time I go in the store. I know there are a lot of people who don’t want to work! I’ve had days like that but I have never ever ever miss treated a customer or coworker because I did not want to be at work. I have never and I would never ignore customer be rude or mean to a customer just because I’m not in the mood to be at work customer service has changed from the time that I was customer service person instructor customer service representative of old all of the various positions in customer service I have held and I assure you, this would not be tolerated but the more I shop the more of this I see. This store and the one next to it their employees a really sad, mean, disgruntled and disrespectful to customers and if you talk to them you would think they had the worst job in the world. so I gave it stars because it’s not Home Depot The company. It’s Home Depot employees that makes it bad for the company itself. Unhappy while at work....that Orange Apron means so much!
Maybe just bad luck but, almost every time I look an item up on the app to find the location of an item I need...its never there. And the associates I track down seem clueless when I tell them the app says its located here. Usually they tell me to look on another isle that has nothing to do with the item I need.
Online pick - up. Wasted an hour going to Customer service desk as text said. Waited a LONG time for someone to help they had at least 3 people behind counter. One customer blocking the entire counter checking out with a cart of wood. ??? This is pickup and return. ??? Finally my turn--she couldnt find my order. I said Just cancel. She amazingly saw it was at Pro desk. So-o - I went down there and stood in line again. Left out a lot of details, but needless to say, pick-up didnt save ANY TIME and made my stress levels go off the charts.
Im a contractor and I shop at a lot of Home Depots on a regular basis however my experience yesterday with a young man named Cameron was remarkable I have never received such respect and courteous from a Home Depot employee in my 19 years of being in business this young man will go real far and stands above all thank you so much Cameron I wish their Home Depot was a lot closer to my home thanks again
Went into home depot store and attempted to purchase hooks for garage storage. At checkout my debit card was rejected... to bad for me. Employee just shrugged her shoulders and let me leave without comment after i brought it to her attention....... last time in Home Depot. Not returning there again
Used the app at home to price out a ten pack of Phillips Led tubes to replace my fluorescent shop lights. A ten pack listed as $71.87, at the checkout the box of ten rang up as a box of two for only $17.60. As I am not a thief I told the checkout girl that what I had was a ten pack and should be considerably higher. The only way she could give me the ten pack price was to do an override. When the manager came over for the approval she said that what I saw was the internet only price and I would have to pay five times the 2-pack price to get the ten pack. NOPE, I’ll go to Lowes instead. I understand if you don’t want to match competitors prices, but not to match your own? Guess I’ll be a Lowe’s customer more often!
Everything you could want to build your man cave with. Be careful though. There so many items youre going to want. Trust me. To bad Im not a millionaire. The staff is friendly and helpful. If they dont know your question off hand, they will get it for you in a timely manner.
Absolute worst Home Depot on the planet. No loading help, manager was on a permanent lunch at 7:30 pm. Got covered in a gas attempting to drain generator for warranty repair. Wanted to charge $18.95 for something under warranty???? Had to reload 200 lb generator by myself cause no help arrived. THE LIFE OF A CONTRACTOR IS MADE THAT MUCH HARDER BECAUSE OF THEIR NO EXISTENT PRO REWARDS!!!!!
Great prices on home repair and home furnishing needs. The employees are very friendly and helpful. On this particular trip I found everything I needed and was out of the store in less than 20 minutes despite the store being pretty busy at the time. I would not hesitate to go back to this store for supplies in the future.
Thank heavens for Mark in plumbing and the gentleman in the fasteners (didnt get his name) I have been searching for specific parts 3 different times and I always got the wrong ones (it was Christmas and yall were slammed) But today they both helped me and I am so thankful to be fitting these last dang pipes and hoses together! Thank you so much!!
Nobody seems to want my money. No one working in the electrical department. Had to go to front to ask for assistance. Took 6 minutes for them to page someone. Waited 12 minutes and nobody shows up. I went to leave and saw 3 people in a group with their fingers in their ass and asked for help. What a joke. No sense of urgency or knowledge of priduct. All to tell me its out of stock. Half hour wasted of valuable time. Im done with Slow Depot.
We visited the Home Depot in Loganville and they did not have any dryers in stock. So the salesman got the sistent manager Rasheda Robinson to help assist us. I asked her if there was any way that I could buy this dryer that was on display and she said that because of the manufacturer that they could not sell that one and so she checked on that particular dryer and got approval to be able to sell that to us. We seen another dryer that was Mark down on the floor and got that one instead. She was very helpful and understanding and we appreciate all she does. Thank you again we had great help and a great experience!!
This used to be my home depot of choice untill today when I went in with a problem I was having with some behr paint I had purchased. The paint department all agreed that it was most likely the paint and to my surprise they wouldnt even give me a replacement can. So I went across the street to Lowes and they assured me that if I was not completely satisfied with it for any reason they would replace it.Lowes has won my paint business for sure.
To express just how incredible an experience we had with Home Depot (HD) I have to share a bit about how bad it began.Im a firm believer that no company is perfect, but they can earn my complete loyalty just on customer service. HD did this for our family. We purchased a new fridge and had everything set up, our old fridge moved out and new fridge moved in and installed. We were told 3 times (potentially more) by the HD associate that sold us the fridge to Not Sign the Install Document Until I am completely happy with everything about the fridgeFF to the install day, where a 3rd party is sent to take out our old fridge and do all the install. (3rd Party was Spirit Logistics Network) The gentleman representing the 3rd party was Leonard, he came in and immediately asked if we had really measured and knew what we were getting in the allotted fridge space. To which I replied, we had measured multiple times, my husband had essentially built a fridge out of cardboard to visually show me how it would fit. I knew it was going to be a little bigger than our old one but that was the point. I also informed him that we were told, specifically several times, that if after it was installed and we didnt like anything about it we could refuse to sign for it and it would be taken out. Leonard did not agree with this at all...started telling us wed have 48hrs to change our minds. To which I replied hed have to have that in writing because I wasnt signing anything until I knew for sure we could have it the way it was promised by HD. He called his boss, his boss confirmed that they do install and if we werent happy they had to take it out. Leonard wasnt having any of it and told his boss he wasnt going to do that much work. To which his boss replied (not knowing he was on speaker phone) that Leonard merely needed to bring it in, scratch it up on the way in and MAKE ME SIGN the document. What Im not getting into here is how they treated my like a stupid female that had no idea what I was speaking of. Long story short, Leonard refused to do any of the work. Now onto the Home Depot portion. My husband called HD and informed them of the situation. They were rightly appalled and immediately set about to correct this. The week before Christmas, two of their employees, Sydney and Matt, (one of which was working on his day off) took it upon themselves to secure a truck, drive to 3rd party location, pick up the fridge and deliver it to our house right before Christmas. They had to take out our old fridge and put it in the garage. They had to both lift the new fridge and lower it out of the truck as it had no electric lift for them. Then take off our front door to fit the fridge through it. Install it, help me set it up, take all the packaging off and away. Allowed me to inspect it inside and out and did it all with such kindness and indignation on my behalf of what happened by the last crew that I all but forgot about my first experience. This was done by a group of people (Matt, Sydney and their manager, Adrianne) that felt we were worth keeping as customers and making our first experience up to us 3-fold. I cannot express how much Matt and Sydney changed my entire perspective of HD after their visit. There will be zero 2nd thoughts about where our family will buy anything necessary for the home from. We are loyal Home Depot (especially Loganville, GA) customers for LIFE. Thank you SO much!
We went to get a variety of things and found what we were looking for. I went to see the garden area. I was a little disappointed bcuz they didnt have a large variety of plants, trees, shrubs, bushes,& flowers. And the flowers that were there had dead blooms on them. I thought someone working in that area was supposed to take care of that.I was specifically looking for fairy plants & they had none! Anyway, our cashier was very nice altho i cant remember her name. So,depending on what you find depends on what youre looking for.
My home away from home. I probably spend to much time and money in this place but I cant help it...lol, really, they are always well stocked and have a friendly staff ready to help bot only find what youre looking for but they also offer advice for the confused among us (ie me), and if youre not truly ready to take it on yourself, they have contractors seemingly on standby.
What a mess. Buy online pickup in store is a joke spent an hour getting there I have order confirmation printed out they have no record killed another 50 minutes there. Sent me to Ailes 49 for flea spray! Aile 49 is outside gardening and is cement edging. 3 times I have tried this and they are clueless. Dont bother.
I like the store. But when I took my lawn mower to be repaired I was told to use Ethanol Gas. I did that and I still had trouble getting it started just a few days ago. And I paid a lot of money and trusted HD with my lawn mower. When my landscaper came over to do some work for me he to tried to start it. He recommended a place for me to take it and put it in my vehicle. I dropped it there the next day. They asked if I used ethanol gas and I said yes. They said ethanol gas is not for lawn mowers and your carburetor could b shot. Well Im waiting for the results. I love HD, but u should put people in each dept that has knowledge of the product being service. Im a SS living on a fix income I just cant give away my income and dont get the expertise service I came for. Im hoping to see some improvement. But I want let u guys have my lawn mower again. One more note on a postive side. I love the staff in your stores. Its service with a smile. God bless.
Go to lowes or someplace else stay away from this particular store in Loganville. Employees are clueless and hard to catch anyone to help you. Came to pick up item that they said its in stock and they have 2 on hand when i arrived they couldnt locate it wasted almost an hour of my time spoke to assistant manager Das or Des and she said sorry I cant help you. And I spend close to $20k a year with home depot. Definitely my last trip to home Depot. Went to lowes opened lowes card and got 5% off on the same item.
CAME HERE AND NEEDED SOME BLINDS. YOU WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE SOMETHING IN AND OUT. NOT IN MY CASE. SECOND TIME COMING HERE AND AS ALWAYS WE HAVE TO HUNT DOWN AN EMPLOYEE TO HELP US. CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT IS AWESOME AND THE PAINT DEPT. BUT MY GOD AS FOR THE REST WHERE ARE THEY HIDING WHEN SOMEONE NEEDS HELP.

2022-03-25This message is for the owners, general managers and department managers. If you do not fix your in store customer service you will end up losing customers. An entire department should not break down because there are 3 customers waiting to be served. Your employees are horribly trained. Not once did anyone acknowledge us while we were waiting nor did they call a floor partner to help. You need basic training on how to handle a rush. You lost my business tonight and I probably wont ever be back to this location.A simple solution is for every team member, manager on down to have a floor partner from a different unrelated department when the rush comes you have these specific people trained and ready to help and with more customers comes more help. With each department having a manager and an assistant there are now four people automatically available .Or you lose business like tonight. I will order my stuff direct from the manufacturer online and forego the hassle of dealing with inept untrained poorly focused ungrateful employees and the companies they work for.

2022-04-29If youre not sure about something go to Lowes. Youre not going to get any help at the Loganville Home Depot. Came in 4/29/22 first had to walk from one end of the store to another to get a cart because they are ALL on the side everyone LEAVES from. My arm is very clearly in a cast and I very clearly can only use one arm but I need mulch. Not a single worker there even asked if I needed any help. I would have asked someone in the garden section to help me but theres no one there. And

2022-06-12What a day (Sunday weekend) to stock and block floors. As usual my receipt was not emailed to me as I was assured it would. No Home Depot will ever get my approval until they build or correct a basic membership to track purchases, at least Lowes tries.

2022-04-28Not thrilled at all with the Home Depot on Hwy 78 in Loganville. Service stinks, that is if you can get someone to assist you. Also, I hate having to check myself out at the self service cashier. Thats not just that way at the Loganville store, thats all the Home Depot stores. As much as stuff costs, they should give you a discount for checking yourself out!!!

2022-03-28Such great service! No ask is to small or to great, such friendly staff, always checking in to see if we need more help. Had several large appliances also from here, great service on delivery.

2022-01-27This is the second time I have paid to have measurements done for something and then never called back to go over pricing. The first time was flooring, they came to measure then never called me to go over pricing. I went with another company to get it done. I just had 2 doors measured to upgrade exterior doors. They came and measured and I was told I would get a call the next day to go over pricing and have not heard anything. Don’t try to get anything done to your home through Home Depot. They take your money to measure and never follow through.
