I dont know why it took me so long to leave a review. Words dont do this place justice. After my third time eating here I can honestly say the seafood in Georgia doesnt get any better than this restaurant. Best service Ive ever had at any restaurant in any state or country. As for the food, me and my wife cant get enough of it. This is the type of food I can easily become addicted to. When I recommend any restaurant to anyone visiting Georgia, the first place Im going to recommend they try is this place.
I wouldn’t have had a problem giving a $17 dollar tip if I would have received $17 worth of service. Had to ask for refills, a drink got spilled and had to ask for a dry towel!!! Wouldn’t have left any stars, but has to leave one to leave a review!!! That’s the only bad thing about businesses already including the tip!! T.I.P.S= to ensure proper service, when waitstaff knows that they are getting tipped regardless, service normally falls off.
Where do I start??? The food was freaking AWESOME. Im from Maryland and to try and compete with what we got going on is.... dont do it. Well when I walked in the door the manager Eli said that he had me... my God. The amount of food that came out and the price was unbelievable. It was so good and too much I had to get a to go bag. The staff Haley, Katie, Brittany and Asia made my day. Keep up the good work. Ill be back if our paths cross. Oh, did mention that the owner Alex came out and gave me a sample of the seasoning that you CAN ACTUALLY BUY ON AMAZON.COM???? YUP. Im going to try it, but Im sure it wont be the same.
I was in town a few weeks ago on a business trip and decided to stop in. The food was good , but customer service was lacking. A young heavy set man with blonde colored hair was our server, he was rude. He seemed very emotional and lacked the ability to perform his basic duties. This experience will weigh on my return.
Just left the place, the food was pretty good, my only complaint is that I went to wash my hands and while doing so, someone was in the stall and when he finished he just walked right out, didnt wash his hands. I assumed he was a guest and when I walked out back to my table, the young skinny gentleman who walked out of the bathroom was in the kitchen handling food. COME ON PEOPLE WASH YOUR HANDS.
I dined in Saturday night. Now my whole family has food poising. We have been vomiting all weekend! I was really looking forward to this place. NEVER AGAIN!The manager just stated since there were no other cases there’s nothing she can do about it!! The CASES are the THREE PEOPLE IN MY FAMILY!!
Not sure if I’ll ever come back, I went and ordered take out for lunch. 1/2lb or shrimp and crawfish. The prices are a little much because it doesn’t reciprocate online as it does there. It didnt take to much time to receive my order which should have been a red flag maybe 5mins. When I got home to eat it, everything besides the crawfish was over cooked, the shrimp, potatoes and the corn which looked like it was over cooked and dried out They open at 12pm and I was there before 12:30 and the food is already over cooked with an empty parking lot
Stop by Juicy crab after taking my mom to a doctors appointment got us some lunch. My mom had the fried shrimp and fries basket and I got the Dungeness Crab with half a pound of headless shrimp. My moms food was fresh and hot however my Dungeness crabs claws were all empty and the shell was easy to crack open. If ever had Dungeness crabs its a very tough shell to crack open. They had just opened when we arrived and I felt as though my food was from the night before. Wish I could of had a better visit for the amount of money I paid.
I walked in 4 girls at the register and they all looked at me and finally decided to ask was I dining in or taking out. I was ready to place an order and the same girls standing around, asked one girl who was closing down the register to take my order. She answered by telling me to wait more tome while she counts down her register. I left and WILL NOT Be back
It’s my first time visiting this place. It was crowded!! I liked their unique interior decorating. You can mix 1/2 lbs of each seafood. Food was wonderful! We had shrimps, crabs and crawfish that came with corns, potatoes and a cup of rice. They also provide you plastic gloves and wet wipes..no more dirty hands! The only thing my husband complained was that he had to wait 10 mins for another glass of beer.
Bottom line, Juicy crab has some really great seasoning for their boils and seafood entrees, but their fried foods are lacking some flavor and character. The interior of the restaurant has a nice, modern look, but almost everyone who visits leaves their mark with a Sharpie on one of the many wooded walls or columns (a thing in some seafood restaurant in the south). The place is pretty popular with the locals, and is usually pretty busy for dinner. If you live locally to the area, keep an eye out for coupons in local ads or on the back of your Kroger receipt, you might score some free appetizer. Our waitress was great, and even wrote her name on the table (on a paper placemat) so we could remember to call on her. If you get wings (or seafood really), you should get the juicy special hich is a mix of all the seasonings at once. Goes great with fried chicken wings.
I tried to place my order for pickup over the phone and someone told me that they discontinued that service. That seemed weird to me. So I went to the establishment to place my order. When I arrived it seemed like people were coming in and picking up orders so I was confused. I finally placed my order and was told that I had to wait 10 Minutes so I went back to ny vehicle. I later went back into the store and retrieved my food and left. Once I got home I started to eat and notice a slightly weird taste. I wasnt sure of what it was but I didnt the entire meal. But today I feel ok, so maybe it wasnt anything.
Ive been to multiple locations of this chain in multiple states and this is by far the best one I have been to. The food was cooked perfectly and seasoned appropriately. I also really enjoyed the pleasant essence of our waitress. Overall good experience except the last of a hostess.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. Worst seafood of my life. I came here thinking I could get a good fried seafood basket, catfish, shrimp and oysters and got served chicken tenders instead. I have never had or seen seafood that looks like chicken tenders. They are over priced and nasty. My husband got a boil that was 31.00 with nothing but sausage and eggs and 2 SKINNY baby clusters looks like. Never will I ever go here again. IF YOU WANT GOOD SEAFOOD GO TO ATLANTA
We came in like an hour before closing(which Id like to apologize about, I know what its like being ready to go on a Wednesday night and cant cause the last table draggin) but anyways service was great! I didnt get the servers name she was a young blonde. The food was awesome, drinks where great! Love the place!
Food was bland. First time ever that I was disappointed with the quality of the food. Then they went up on the prices. Tasteless and higher prices, no thank you. Top Crab is my go to place from now on. They may be higher, but the quality and QUANTITY is awesome!! Juicy Crab yall need to do better before increasing your prices.
Great and fresh, yet its all a hype. 2craws of crab legs 1 potato & 1 corn for 26$ is ridiculous! Gotta be a better option for customers to enjoy more food without breaking the bank! Also they dont have blue crabs and I was told they havent had any all summer. Yet this is not stated on their website. Bad business!
My family and I dined here this evening. We were greeted cheerfully and promptly upon our arrival. Our server came over for our drink order quickly, too. I had a Juicy Punch, a fruity cocktail made with vodka. It was tasty and exactly what I ordered. I would probably order it again. If you like fruity drinks, youll probably enjoy it.Dee, our server, recommended the Juicy Special seasoning, so I decided to try it on my 1 lb. of snow crab legs. Oh. My. Word! It was AMAZING!! It came with 2 boiled potatoes and one small corn cob. That sauce...buttery, slightly spicy, a little tangy...so good! The crab was cooked perfectly and released from the shell easily. The portion size was exactly what I expected. Im glad I went with the medium level spiciness. I think it added just enough spice to keep things interesting without overpowering the other flavors. My family had fried tilapia, fried catfish, and Cajun wings, all of which they reported to be freshly made and tasty.Situated in a nearly empty strip mall, this place doesnt look like much on the outside. The inside decor is also rather shabby, with literal writing all over the walls. I think the writing all over the walls makes it feel dirty. However, our table and booth were clean, and I didnt see any tables that needed bused. The place is VERY casual. -1 star for ambiance.COVID-related: Some of the staff wore masks, others didnt. There was no sign on the door asking patrons to mask up. No tables were clearly blocked off to maintain distancing. It looks like theyre ready to seat people at full capacity.I would eat here again and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking to get their seafood fix.
It was just like any other crab spot to me... Not bad at all though. The sauce was good but the crab legs were so small. I also dont like having an automatic service charge of 18%... Overall I think it was good and give it 3 stars because it was not crowded and our server was nice. One thing they need to address for sure is the fact that it is not handicap friendly. My sister needs a ramp to help get her into places and they are not wheelchair accessible so if you have a wheelchair or rolling walker this is not a handicap accessible place which is truly frustrating.
Quick pick up or wait a minute for a seat! Theres a reason why you have to wait in line for a seat because its sooo good! Although we made the mistake and ordered two seafood combos,it made for a delicious doggy bag! One create your own seafood combo is more than enough for two! But, if you and your date dont like or cant agree on the same items, then by all means, enjoy eating your heart out! Overall, great food, moderate prices, plenty of food, but crowded.
Unfortunately it didnt work out. My husband has been wanting to come here for months. We finally made it. After sitting down for 30 minutes no one waited on us and everyone around us was getting served. We left and went to Top Crab. It was awesome. So awesome well definitely be back!
Our family ordered take out and we were VERY satisfied with our experience. The food was cooked to perfection, with a special nod to the corn. Having experienced over cooked corn and undercooked seafood at other restaurants we were very happy with our experience here. The food was hot when we picked it up and packed well so that after a 20 minute ride home, it was still quite warm. We will be returning for seconds!
Our server was kind but not attentive. We were not given the cracking thing for the crab legs and our plastic utensils were no match for the crab. We couldnt open the legs to get to the meat. We were never offered takeout containers by our server, we had to hit up another server to get them, ( she is also the one to provide the cracking thing) which we needed because our expensive meal sat mostly untouched as we couldnt get at much of the meat. I needed a knife for my corn (I cannot bite into the corn) but never could get his attention to get one and was always in a rush to get away. As a result? That expensive dinner will be tossed tomorrow by the cleaning staff at our hotel because I am still unable to get at the meat. At least 15 bucks worth of crab in the trash. The womens restroom has black mold in the sink....
NASTY....I gave my food to my parents. Nothing like when they first opened. Bland, sausage is not the original kind they used before, sausage doesnt come with the boil anymore. Its $7 extra which isnt a big deal if it were good, cheese sticks are store bought and the shrimp taste like old water. Best thing I had was SPRITE. Ill stick to Top crab.
It can be really expensive, especially if you are like me feeding three teenagers. With that said, I absolutely love eating here. The food is great and the options are many. I always have enough for leftovers the next day. My only complaint is I haven’t found a combination that’s spicy enough for me. I guess I’ll have to keep trying. I highly recommend them for the occasional splurge family night out.
The service was good. The food was okay. Not at all what I thought it was going to be. The fried seafood batter was so bland. The boil was not as seasoned as I thought it would be. The garlic butter I got off Facebook Yardsale was better. The waiter Keys was great and made our visit enjoyable.
This was our last meal here before we headed back to Cartersville, GA. We enjoyed the FOOD IT WAS EXCELLENT and so was our waitress Tater Tots. She was attentive helpful and enjoyable. We have never had Juicy Crab before. When we got back home found one off Barter Parkway. We will be checking it out. THANK YOU TO TATER TOTS for such an amazing last dinner. She would member us because one of the 3 of us used a STRAW TO SUCK OUT ALL THE JUICE OUT OF THE BAG.
So the atmosphere was very relaxing. The wait was not long maybe 15 mins on a sunday. But the food was delicious and the snow crab legs where the best i have ever had. Juicy, very flavorfull, seasoned all the way thru. Me an my wife will be back soon. Iam a regular now after 4 months. Best in the South. Update 19 May. Plenty of crabs in a bag spots here in augusta but Juicy Crab is still the king hands down.
Service wasnt great tonight. Low country boil need to either go back to 1/2 lb of shrimp with sausage or Dont call it a low country boil when it now doesnt have sausage. Took sausage off and increase the price. Crazy to me. Was disappointed when I always order the same thing.
This place was hard to find. There needs to be more visible signage advertising it in the commercial area its in. The traffic was awful so if you miss your turn, good luck getting back in there. The location itself was not impressive and the 45 minute wait in an almost empty establishment was ridiculous. I chose not to eat here after all this drama. Ill stick with the locations in McDonough, Atlanta or Columbia, SC rather than this location. Was not impressed...
My food was good but some of the waiters/ cooks were too busy socializing with each other. My server forgot some of my food, which is not a big deal but I couldnt find ANY SERVER for 5 minutes because they were all all on the other side talking. And I literally had to go around the front of the restaurant to get back to my table from the bathroom because they were all standing in my way talking. I stood there waiting on them to move and nothing. Soooo. Also tell your servers to wear a mask over their mouth AND nose.
Very expressive, not enough food for the amount spent. Flavors are ok, just drop your prices in the sides. Geesh, create some sales or deals. I spent money here to plenty, but just not worth it to me. Ive been elsewhere and you get more food. I guess its the convenience is seafood in Augusta....
Good stuff. I got the king crab, shrimp and sausage. Dont Wear your good clothes, come to dig in. Place looked closed from outside but walk in and enjoy some good food. I like some spice coming from New Mexico and got the hot. I could feel some heat but will be getting the extra hot next time.
What a great, friendly place. I sat at the bar because I was alone. The bar tender James was attentive and nice.I ordered the fried oyster basket. The Virginia oysters were tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The fries were crispy too. The tables were full of customers on a Sunday afternoon. I was impressed the staff knew where their seafood came from.
Juicy Crab is the spot and was popping but they have fell off. I stayed eating there twice a week. Now it’s maybe 1 once every 2 months. They have been slacking ever since they said they were going to move from their current location. They ran out of sausage for a long time. Then it finally came back now it’s “sold separately” they just trying to get more money off the boils. What they need to do is put more corn and potatoes in the boils like they used to. Now it’s just 1 corn and 1 potatoes with a whole bunch of shrimps. Sometimes they get my order wrong. I’ve stopped eating there to hopefully think they would get it right but idk. Recently I ate there like last week and it was pretty good I just hate paying almost $40 for a low country boil that comes with 1 corn and 1 potato 💁🏽♀️ Juicy Crab y’all gotta do better fr!
Awesome service, awesome food. My only gripe is the waiting time. Its such a popular place in the city, and it always seems to be 45mins - 1hr waiting time. But, its worth it. I do wish they had a way to handle the seating better. Especially for those who have finished their meals, in order to make room for new guests.
This place is delicious. The 40+ minute wait on a Friday at 6:30 PM was well worth it. If you like seafood or Cajun style food then this is a great option for you to eat. I do wish they had silverware as opposed to plastic forks, but thats my only complaint. The service was great as well!
The food is amazing. All time best seafood in the area. Very clean environment with great seating. Hardly any wait time. The staff is very unprofessional but I blame management. I saw employees carrying infants and toddlers behind the bar area. Instead of waiting on the customer staff was to busy engaging in side conversations. I have witness this on three occasions at this restaurant. Staff using profanity in front of management and also overly intoxicated after shift hours to a point the manager had to take away their keys. Extremely an unprofessional environment but I blame management
Went to this restaurant with some friends and family for the first time for a birthday and the experience was absolutely horrible. For starters we called weeks ahead in advance for a reservation but when we got there we still had to wait 20-30 mins for a table. After being seated, ordering food and drinks, the wait for the food was NOT worth it. The food isn’t terrible but it isn’t what everyone else makes is seem. Very overrated. And the prices also does NOT match the amount of food received. Last thing, the bathroom floor was very slippery and a party member slipped and fell. The staff was notified and tried to brush it off. They employees are young, ghetto and were too busy being nosy and into drama instead of doing their jobs. Will never be going back.
I ordered from their website and it was super easy to navigate & selection options. I got an automatic 10% off for first time purchase. Paid online. Got there early and my food was ready. Drove 20 minutes home and the food was still hot! Everything was delicious and tasted fresh! Will be going back!
Waiter was okay. Told her that my sister was military for the discount... had to remind her at check out. Dont ever recall her asking me if I wanted a refill. I ordered shrimp with heads, even pointed to it on the menu. I had already touched my bag by the time I realized it was no heads ($4 more) and I didnt want to be petty and send it back knowing it would be thrown away. Food was good... Kind of overpriced or not enough food given for the prices. Seasoning was really good and what made the food- I got the Juicy special in hot; I couldve went to a crab Shack and got the same thing for the same price... I dont hate it, but as a Florida girl, Ive had better.
I have eaten here about 3-4 times since I moved here from Atlanta. It seems like service is slowly declining for this place. The first three times it was much better sitting at the bar and dining in but a few weeks ago my fiance and I decided to order takeout and everything was horrible. First off the black girl that took our order over the phone was very unhelpful, dry, and had an attitude. It seemed as if she kept trying to rush us off the phone instead of actually suggestive selling and just being helpful. Then when we got the food home it was cold and just didnt taste right. I doubt that I will be going back.
The juicy boil is at a great price a family of 3 had that with extra veggies and we all ate for under $45. We have been there several times and always had good service. Tonight the bar tender Ms Mimi was great! Its really rare to find the tri-factor. I highly recommend this place all the way around - very good food, qualify service, and all for an excellent price as well.
Ok we were from out of town and wanted some seafood. The service that night was awful-wait staff was socializing for long periods of time with customers and they werent very professional. A few servers were busting their tails and luckily we got one of them. The food was excellent! Glad we waited.
Very Flavorful however, there is no difference between regular, mild and spicy... I believe they ask your preference for show. They are all equally on the higher mild spectrum of spicy. The portions are very small. The service could be better too. Please put prices on the menu (they were all erased)But I would recommend and go back. More stars if these issues are corrected.
My son and his fiance told us about this place, so the 5 of us went for a late lunch. Its in a strip mall, but dont let that scare you away. This place is the real deal! They help you select your seasoning and heat level and in a very timely manner, here comes our meals! Everything was incredibly delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We will DEFINITELY come back!
The service was superb! Kat was our server...she was excellent. Gave us the specials and happy hour deals. We had a large party and Kat made it a point to make sure our drinks and food were served in a timely fashion (food was served hot). We all enjoyed the food and service. We will definitely be back! Great seafood!
After telling the bartender the correct way to make the drinks they were great; but not fantastic. The food was great. My server was new so of course there were hiccups there, which put a bitter taste in my mouth at first. I was really upset about my oysters & the service of them. But we got the low country boil & it was fantastic. Ill definitely be back.
We had a large crowd to celebrate a birthday and werent allowed to make a reservation so we thought wed be in for a rough night, but it was just the opposite. The team handled everything beautifully. We had an awesome meal and we had very little wait to be seated. The food was delicious. Thanks to all the servers who helped that night, especially ours.
Wait was Hella long but we decided to wait because we heard the food was awesome. I was born and raised in the low country, so low country boils etc dont wow me as much. The low country boil here was very fresh and that was a plus. It took our waiter a little bit longer to greet us than I liked but he definitely redeemed himself with his awesome customer service! I will definitely visit again.
Cool establishment....server was trash...she did not come to my table as much because she knew she was adding GRATUITY on the table with 4 kids and 2 adults. I found that to be strange but I didnt mind because I always tip well... just wish she would have been more attentive being that we traveled all the way from St. Louis. However the Server with the colorful dreads was very nice to her table...I overheard her explaining the menu to her guest, and thats how knew how the menu worked. The food was ok, I was expecting it to be more flavorful but overall I was more disappointed in my service.
Very impressed. Food and service were both excellent (thanks Ernest), atmosphere perfect for the food—eat with your hands, with a bib, southern, low country boil. We only had the combo platter vice the full low country boil, but between the two of us we had the shrimp, crab legs, and sausage with potatoes and corn in the spicy juicy sauce. We are only here for a few days, but plan on going back.
Update from my last review. Although the wait was over an hour. The service was 100% better our waitress (Hailey) was amazing!!! The cook did not overcook the seafood it was perfect. We ordered 4 lbs of mixed King and Queen crab legs w/ Lobster tail all seasoned perfectly. Thanks for a great experience!
Well was so excited to go my first time but disappointed.heres why.i wasnt allowed to sit where I felt comfortable, had to sit out in the middle of the very busy room.the low country boil is not original I lived on the island it came from and was taught by the locals.it didnt even have sausage in it and the potatoes hadnt been cooked in the sauce just placed in it in the bag.all ingredients should be cooked in a pot together or they should advertise our version of low country boil.the corn didnt even have any flavor.but the crab was cooked excellent.too much heavy seasoning when if all had have been cooked in a pot together with sausage it would have been much tastier.the shrimp were good.waitress was very good and very nice.
First time out here with a group of people.Pros: Fast service and friendly staff, laid back atmosphere, and delicious food. Their house seasoning is tasty, highly recommend the hot for spice level, it isnt really hot just a small kick with lots of flavor!Cons: Menu was a bit difficult to decipher, had to ask the waiter to provide explanation on how the combo worked. Wish they had several different combos not just pick 2. Wouldve been nice if they had a combo that had a little bit of everything, similar to a sampler platter.
I dont like seafood so I ate the chicken tenders. We went for my sons birthday, he wanted seafood. The fries were very good, just wish they had a few more options for non seafood lovers(though I understand its a seafood joint). Service was excellent! Everyone loved their food!
I have eaten here multiple times over the past couple years. As a big fan of low country boil, the juicy crab is top notch. I cant even come close to the flavor of their food. Its a fun setting where kids can be messy and still leave clean and my family always leaves full and with leftovers to eat the next day.
I normally have a wonderful experience with juicy crab ...I love to recommend this place to family and friends. But tonight 12/24/18 around 920pm i had a really bad customer service with the bartender and the manager on duty .. I expressed my concern to him and not one time did he apologize. Managers have to separate business with friendships. After I told him how I felt about the service he went and told her and they laughed about it. I work in customer service so this is really serious matter to me I will be more than happy to spend my money at another restaurant. To all the previous employees that waited on me thanks for all your good vibes and great service!
Went there for the first time celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. The food definitely deserves five stars as well as the Service, which was attentive and quick. Went there about 3:30 and the wait was 5 min. It got quite crowded as we were leaving. Great food and reasonably priced. Looking forward to the next time.
Had the low country boil! Have been here numerous times great food late stuff is exemplary and engaging shrimp crab legs corn on the cob potatoes it was all delicious the only recommendation I would give is if youre getting crab legs of any kind besides having a shellcracker you need the Little fork its like a cocktail fork to dig out the meat upon getting your meal and thats a metal fork reasonably priced considering new competition has popped up on the south side and also across the street from the channel 6 channel 26 TV stations
If you want to waste your time by all means go here but be warned. This other reviews must be fake. Horrible experience. Couldnt give a lower score or I would. Waited 30 minutes to be seated but thought because of the positive reviews it would be worth it. After we got seated we waited 15 minutes and still no waiter or waitress so we got up and walked out. Hopefully others will start posting honest an these fake reviews will stop so people can know what this place is really like. If for some reason someone from this establishment wants to contact me to make it up dont waste any more of my time because there is nothing you could possibly say that would make up such a horrible experience. If it was so important to you then you would never let something like this happen to any of your customers.
Ordered Shrimp with the head on and sausage with corn and potatoes and was very disappointed considering the fact its like they basically onow they have bad days being that theirs no refund or exchange anywho shrimp were over cooked and mushy and sausage were not all the way cooked as if they were flash steamed or dropped in water for 2 seconds and pulled out of the water was highly not satisfied.
Delicious! I got a grab boil on my visit, which was more than enough for one person. Some of my party enjoyed catfish and shrimp. There were no complaints! I ordered two margaritas and they were great! This is informal dining, but they’re kind enough to provide gloves and covers so you don’t leave looking or smelling like a juicy crab!
Pleasantly surprised! I came here while visiting Augusta on business, I’m not a huge chain restaurant fan and was looking for a local spot to have a nice relaxing meal when I came across the Juicy Crab.Do not let the location or the exterior of this place fool you, it’s part of the experience and it’s charm.I shared a low country boil with their signature juicy sauce with a coworker and we were in complete agreement on how delicious it was. Just the right amount of flavor and heat from the spices. Our server was absolutely adorable and extremely helpful and pleasant which made the experience that much more enjoyable.Hands down one of the tastiest meals I have had while traveling for work outside of New Orleans. I will definitely revisit when I am back in town.PS they let you sign your name on the wall or wherever actually, that is if you can find a spot! Pretty cool.
What a treasure of a seafood restaurant!! To find in the middle of a strip mall... this seafood is the freshest Ive had in years! Good portions and very tasty. Would highly recommend it and plan on any time I come through I will be stopping in to dine. Far better than red lobster yet affordable too.
Staff was very friendly and food was delicious. Try the low country boil with the spicy Juicy Crab seasoning, you cant go wrong. Also ordered the Cajun fries which were delicious. Had so much food I ended up taking some home. Be prepared to spend a little, but you do get your moneys worth. Very casual dining.
I am from New Orleans, so good seafood is hard to come across when youre not at home. Juicy Crab met and exceeded my expectations! I ordered take out, and the staff was GREAT! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I havent dined on yet. But I have reservations for my birthday and I am looking forward to a great experience!!
I absolutely love this place. The food was great. The flavors were excellent. The service was friendly. The only problem was this place is so popular that we had to wait an hour to get seated but once we did the service was spot on. We asked for the military discount and it was applied with no issues. Be advised if you order anything with the butter that there is a lot of butter. I highly recommend this place.
Didnt know what to expect when we went there to eat, but I was pleasantly surprised. Had a great variety of seafood. Service was good. Loved the atmosphere. Had some groups that were dressed up and other groups that were dressed casual. Would go back again. Prices were also reasonable.
Psssh last night was my first night going here. I’m just passing through I live in Dallas, Tx but let me tell you ! Everything was perfect I had crab legs, sausage, Manila clams & shrimp. The food tasted lovely 💕 I couldn’t believe it...looking for seafood !? this is your place !!!
Went back in February had a decent time. It was a bit pricey all said and done. Havent really wanted to go back but decided id try again for take out. Writing this because of call out service for Augusta . They seem to have taken there phones off the hook. cannot even call for the last hour 4:45 to 5:45. The two times I made it through around 4:55 they said they would put me on hold then hung up on me twice. It doesnt seem like they want business or know how to handle business. Was very put off by this. very rude when I did go through. I understand being busy but WOW.
One of the best seafood spot Ive been to in long time. I want to throw a shoutout to our waitress she was great. Even though my boy ate there before she still assisted us willingly and even recommended a couple of other great eateries. I will definitely be back soon.
My family enjoyed a wonderful dinner tonight! Our waitress, Ms. Eriell was so nice and informative! She took the time to explain to us the items on the menu and even engaged in brief conversation with us to know what would best fit our appetite! She was so patient with us through our 2yr old and 9mo old screaming for food and a bottle! She really made us feel comfortable to dine and not like a nuisance. Our food and drink did not take long and was very delicious! I had the boiled shrimp with the fried catfish and sweet potato fries (yum yum)!!! My husband had tonights special, the low country boil, also delicious!! Our 2yr old had chicken tenders, he may have missed his mouth a few times. I will definitely bring my family back here again! Awesome service, Awesome food! Thanks Augusta, is was Great!
This a classic seafood shack without pretence. The food is great, but the only way you would know from the outside is the number of cars in the parking lot. You enter, sit on picnic benches and enjoy the food along with conversation from whoever sits beside you (they ask if you are willing to share a table, but it is clear on entry that that is expected). Will go back!
Had the most difficult time trying to place an online order. When I went to Thejuicycrab.com, the Augusta location does not even exist on the actual website which is very weird. Whats up with that? So needless to say, I had to go in the restaurant to place my order which was not a problem. I went early Friday evening so the place was not crowded like it usually is and it was very clean. My food was ready in about 10 minutes. My bag looked so delicious when I got it home, I couldnt wait to dig in. It was very good except for the fact that when I cracked a few crab legs they were slightly cold inside. I would definitely give this place another try and I also grabbed a business card for their web address.
I recommend the low country boil seasoned with the juicy special its enough to share but you may not want to. And outside of fast food its one of the few places outside of fast food where 2 people can dine and be full for $30 and be full and still take some home. The service is lacking though. Even when slow (less then half full) our drinks were not even offered to be refilled for 15 min and the glasses were empty.

2021-10-301st time eating here and it definitely did not disappoint! Food came out very quick and was all delicious. The Buffalo Shrimp was on point as well! Some of the best I’ve ever had. This is definitely added to our seafood list of “go-to” when we can’t figure anywhere else to go.

2022-03-12Went here for lunch Friday with some friends. Seafood was very good. Service was friendly & fast, not crowded due to late lunch after 1:30. Fried calamari appetizer was very good too.

2021-11-07It was a pretty decent place. Im not going to say it was above average but its not anywhere near below average. Some of the food could have been seasoned a little better but for the most part it was pretty good. The corn was slamming tho!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

2022-04-21The food itself is delicious, but the manager is a young pratt. Very self important and absorbed. The staff is also young and more interested in their phones than the customers. My recommendation is to order ahead and pick it up, eating inside is a frustrating waist of time.

2022-03-30It was our first time eating anything like that and it was amazing. Our server Dasia was amazing, very knowledgeable of the menu and combinations. It was clean and no table stayed messy, they were attended to right away. Our server made it a really good experience, thank you.
