Stayed here for 2 years, moving for a better work commute for my boyfriend. This was my first post-college home on my own. It was the perfect spot for me - across from Hmart for all my favorite snacks, 10 minutes from Duluth to fulfill my Asian food cravings, in a safe area. Just outside the gate, the complex is connected to local spots such as Mavericks (quickly became our favorite go-to weeknight dinner) as well as quick chain restaurants like Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Dunkin, Zoes Kitchen, Moes. Because its connected to these little plazas, it makes driving in and out easier with the traffic lights. The apartment itself felt newer, and my absolute favorite part of it was how much daylight poured into our living room and bedroom. I loved cracking open the blinds, watching the cars go by, hearing the trees rustle. So peaceful :)The clubhouse, newly renovated, was great for work and study. Lots of daylight there as well with the sound of the pool fountain nearby. Plus complimentary coffee to keep you going! So many wonderful memories were made here. Grateful for our stay at The Regency.
I have been a happy resident at The Regency now for 2+ years. I love my unit and the management staff that I have worked with so far. I have had the most opportunity to work with McIntosh and he is always friendly, personable and responsive to any question or need I may have. He presents himself as a true gentleman - always professional and attentive. I would happily recommend The Regency to anyone looking for a nice, safe place to live.
This is a wonderful place to live. Staff is always there to help. The grounds are always maintained and the Residents that I have met are very friendly. They always remember us with Holiday Parties and recognition no matter the season. Today we all found a goody on our windshields along with a nice note. Thank you to all of the Staff
Let me get a caveat out of the way. This is an apartment building. There are lots of families/people living here, so theres always going to be those few that you just cant avoid.Selfish old guy who takes all the paper cups from the Cyber Cafe room at night, meaning no one has paper cups available for the free Starbucks coffee and cocoa that they have available in the Cyber Cafe? Yup, he lives here.Owner of loud, trapped, barking dog that barks like mad every time anyone by his room? I think that person lives here, I know their dog does.Minor road noise because the building is on Medlock Bridge Road? Yeah, our apartment faces the road, and I can see how a super sensitive sleeper might care about that, but without our air purifier on, it doesnt bother me, and with it on, the white noise keeps you from hearing the road.Ive read some cons in other reviews. Yes, like every other apartment in Georgia that I spoke with, you need to get renters insurance. The trash is on the other side of the parking lot, which I like because I dont want it right next to the building. I even use my balcony as storage for my bikes. (Which I guess some people would consider a con of living here?)While Im talking about things people might consider negative experiences, I should mention that my door handle stopped working...the day I moved in. It worked the first time I entered it, but at 10:30PM, on my first day in a state where I didnt know anyone with in an hours drive that I could call, the door handle latch stopped working, and I was locked out.Maintenance eventually came that night and let me in. The leasing team genuinely apologized. The small touches, like nice soap in the bathroom and drinks and snacks in the fridge to welcome me when I first moved in were the signs of effort and care that go beyond necessary and into the realm of high quality service. Now that Im talking about the pros, let me mention some things I really like: The ceilings are high, there is crown molding, the Cyber Cafe does have complementary coffee and cocoa, the computers, printer and wifi there are free to use, there are big TVs with cable, the gym is nice and rarely occupied, the gate and access card system for the building, parking lot and pool is simple and works well, the pool is clean, the pool grills have been easy to use and had plenty of gas every time I go to use them...I could go on.I honestly think every member of the team, including maintenance and the leasing office, knows who me and my family are. I think they do strive to provide a superior apartment living experience. Its still an apartment, and theres always going to be that one person. If lived between barking-dog gal and cup stealing guy, maybe Id be less thrilled, but every person who lives here that Ive actually spoken with and gotten to know has been extremely polite and friendly, and Im very glad my family and I chose to live here.
The Regency at Johns Creek Walk is a perfect place to call home. We have been here since Summer 16 and love it! All the office associates and maintenance staff are awesome - courteous, efficient, friendly and responsive. The numerous social gatherings hosted by Naomi & her amazing team offer a sense of community and are a ton of fun (Thank you so much for all you do)! If you are looking for a place to call home in Johns Creek, look no further, The Regency at Johns Creek Walk is the place for you!
I am sharing a recent post of mine on Atlantic Realty Partners (they own Regency at Johns Creek Walk) site for Google ReviewsPosted on July 31, 2018We are residents of an apartment at Regency at Johns Creek. Our lease expires on August 4, 2018. We have been in the process of moving and come back regularly to check on the apartment. This morning we find that the apartment has been rekeyed and neither my wifes nor my apartment key worked. When we called the emergency line, we were told that the apartment is unlocked. We walked in to find the blinds were opened, the room temperature adjusted, and more. Essentially they had started work to get the apartment ready for the next renter without our permission or consent. Keeping the apartment unlocked puts us at risk. Such unethical and unscrupulous behavior. It is especially disappointing because we stayed in that apartment for 2 years, been in excellent standing, had the apartment professionally cleaned, and had scheduled a walkthrough at 10 AM on August 4th.Update (Aug 1)I received an email from Atlantic Realty Partners apologizing for the matter and they have promised to fully refund our deposits and also the final months rent.
I have lived @TheRegency for about 3/4 years now, very great community, very clean, quiet, & family oriented. The new staff that has been here for about a year or two is a great addition to the community as well, great customer service and attentive to all tenants needs. Would definitely recommend !
I have not lived in this community so cannot judge that. This review is for awareness. I paid $500 for app, admin fee, & to hold an apartment. I was not approved. The problem is, now I do not have my $500 & I was told it could take 7-30 days for it to be returned into my account! I need that money to move since I am relocating out of state. This is very burdensome & I wish I never wouldve applied now. I am worried about when I will get it returned. Do not apply unless you can make it w/out that money. They really should tell you that tidbit before you put all that money down. Now I am in a bit of a bind.Update: it is 7/24 and I still have not received my refund.

2022-07-05Fantastic, attentive and engaged team. Victor is right on the ball and Reekah is an absolute trooper, with her patience, agility and ability to accommodate. Cant wait to become a member of this community!

2021-12-21Very friendly staff, they quickly respond and take care of all the issues you may have . Pool is well-maintained and the ambience is awesome. Loved my stay at this place. It was more of a vacation place than an apartment.

2021-01-04When I first moved to the Regency, it was lovely. The maintenance team was responsive and the property management was great. Now, under the new Assistant Community Manager, the care and service is completely gone. I had to wait nearly 8 months for a maintenance request for my refrigerator to be completed. Upon completion, the refrigerator no longer worked and all of my food spoiled. Now I am being told that their maintenance had nothing to do with all of my food going bad, and so they do not have responsibility in this matter. This is in addition to the lack of availability of my lease agreement for over a year and a half.

2020-10-30In my experience so far(2 months), it’s great place. What most effect to my decision to choose here is management. Luckily I met all staff in leasing center when I look for apartment, all of them are kind and professional. And after I moved in, quick reaction with repairing. Also, nice communication and event. There is little bit of noise between floors, but it didn’t bother me. Location, room, management all three are great here!

2020-09-03I had to move within such a short period of time (within 2 weeks) due to some unfortunate circumstances surrounding COVID, and Victor was integral in making this process as seamless as possible. He kept in constant communication with me throughout and dealt with any issue I had in such an efficient manner. Before moving in, I did not have the privilege of doing any in-person tours, only live video tours (because I also lived far) and Victor still walked me through the property to let me see each and every apartment I was interested in on the day that I was supposed to sign my lease to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. There was a stain on the carpet when I came to finally see the apartment complex on the day I signed the lease, and the stain was taken care of in less than 24 hours. There were even things he was not responsible for moving in and he still went above and beyond to rectify those issues. He was also very accommodating with my schedule given that I was moving from out of state. Even after signing my lease, he was still around to provide assistance, including giving me helpful tips for exploring the area and handling a minor dispute with certain payments in such an efficient manner. In such a stressful time for me, I could not be more grateful. Thank you, Victor!

2017-03-07I have lived at The Regency for almost a year, and I could not have hoped for a better experience. The staff - Naomi, Laritza, and Daniel - are absolutely phenomenal. Daniel secured the perfect apartment for me before I even located to the area, and it met my every expectation. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, and the residents are kind and welcoming. Everyone, including the maintenance team, has been friendly, responsive, and consistent. This is a wonderful place to bring a family, but its also quiet and communal enough for singles and couples to come and make friends. The management team also goes above and beyond to show their appreciation for their residents. They frequently throw special events like holiday parties, resident appreciation breakfasts, and sports tailgates, just to name a few. Oh, and the free Starbucks coffee in the Cyber Cafe is a major bonus. If you are looking for a home in Johns Creek, look no further.

2016-06-13Best decision we made:We moved to these apartments in Nov 2015 from Houston, TX, and have happily lived here for the last 8 months, not one complaint so far. The reason we are so happy here is because the management takes such good care of the property and its residents. Work orders are promptly resolved, pool and appliances are clean, noise is minimal, and the place feels safe for my 3.5 year old. Laritza, Naomi and Daniel go out of their way to help residents AND they organize some very cool evening socials.

2021-11-13Rica and Victor have been tremendously helpful and courteous to us. They have patiently addressed all of our requests as new residents of The Regency. The apartment complex is gorgeous and a cut above for anyone who wants luxury and class.

2019-12-19In terms of the actual apartments, they are above average. The buildings are nice. The small but workable issues I have are that the appliances that come with the apartment are kind of bad. I wont knock a star off for that because, well, that is par for the course. The main issue, as others have pointed out, is the noise. The apartments are right off of 141 and right near Emory Hospital, so you will get street traffic noise 24/7 and will often hear sirens. It is in a good location, but it is sort of annoying that there is no easy way into the complex so food delivery drivers always have to call to get directions. With the aforementioned information I would rate this location 4 out of 5.Unfortunately within the last few months Ive had to drop a star not due to the apartments themselves, but the clientele. The newer residents are *extremely* loud. Kids screaming and running up and down the halls. People blasting music so loud that my walls shake. The increase in trash in the parking lots. The increased frequency of barking dogs. It is outside of quiet hours so there is nothing I can really do, but the constant shaking of walls and disruptive nature of the sound makes relaxing after work impossible and is actually adding more stress. On occasion Ive been kept up due to blasting bass on weekdays until 1AM.If you dont mind a bit of noise this place really is nice, but for those like me who loathe and despise noise, especially made by inconsiderate people, you would be better off looking elsewhere.

2018-05-21A nice temporary house. When we moved from Duluth to johns creek, we stayed at regency for 5 weeks and enjoyed it. Nice pool , walkingdistance to h mart, close to many Chinese restaurants, the clubhouse has complimentary coffee and hot cocoa, I enjoyed the furnished apt unit. Many people from china and Taiwan residing here, so this is wonderful and my kids made friends with many kids here. A wonderful apartment , one of Johns Creeks best apartments
