This place is amazing, the staff is very friendly and the food is great.The atmosphere here is quite relaxing, and has a nice railroad theme.
Not crowded, 10 people were seated as soon as we walked in. The main course of the menu has no prices, you pay m.p. My filet was big yet it was chewy and tasted like it was cooked with liquid smoke. My baked potato was so raw and hard, I couldnt eat it. I would try this place again, if Im back in the area. Maybe they just had a bad night.

The waitress was pleasant and provided excellent service but that was the only reason they got one star. The food was very bland and tasteless. The appetizer tasted like it was microwaved and the entree had the same texture.
The Station is fantastic. We ordered take out as we are holed up in a local hotel for the night. I don’t normally expect takeout to be as good as what you get when dining in, but our food was phenomenal.We ordered the Fontina Flatiron Steak with a side of fried grits, Seth’s Steakhouse Salad, a side of the garlic butter pasta and key lime pie and Savannah’s Strawberry Shortcake. The entrees were so good I’m writing this before we even get to the desserts.Everything was perfectly prepared and incredibly delicious. We would recommend the Station to anyone. Incredible.
Very nice restaurant in downtown Americus. The wings are a nice way to start dinner followed by the blackened grouper. Great service and very affordable.
Outstanding meal and service. The filet was cooked perfectly. Salad was crisp and cold. Strawberry shortcake was a great conclusion of a an exceptional meal. I am a tourist that desires a quality meal over fast food. THE STATION was a WINNER!
Paul and his staff go above and beyond to accommodate their guest and provide a great comfortable dining experience. Even though everyone is masked their smiling faces welcome you. The food is great and consistent. A great place to meet friends or grab dinner with your spouse. A gem of Americus.They also accommodate take out or other special needs one may have.
Always good food, except this time! Chicken was overcooked and hard to chew, and was compeddue to this.
From the moment entering the Station their customer service was on point & consistent. Food was awesome, the Owner greeted customers to make sure everything was good, tasteful & customer made sure glasses never got empty. Thankful I choice to dine at the station & will be going back!
Walked down the scenic downtown streets of Americus to run across this little gem. They were very busy but accommodated us very well. Our server was very attentive and quick to respond to our needs. Oh yea, the food. The food was off the chain good.
Thoroughly enjoyed all 4 meals my family ordered.Burger, ribeye sandwich, highball chicken, and conductors crepe were all very satisfying and delicious.The strawberry shortcake and chocolate cake were also very delicious.Staff was professional and very courteous.
Good food but a little pricey.
This was a nice place to celebrate my daughters college graduation! Make sure you ask for the right size of reservations, because they may add a chair or two for you, but it gets a bit crowded. My family and I still had an awesome time there. The service was great and friendly! Oh and the food with a southern flavor was outstanding!
No wait which was nice. waitress even with only 4 tables full couldnt find time to check on us or fill our drinks. Food came out. burger was like a hockey puck but wife wouldnt send it back. bottom of my grouper was burnt. first bite tasted like bitter carbon and the steamed veggies had zero seasoning. not that upset about veggies but even a touch of salt or somthing would have been nice....... really dissapointed after being told this was the best place here in americus.I will say though, the replacement grouper was cooked fantastic but wife was already done eating. I had my check before i had my fish.
Ate there on a Friday night. Very busy. The marinated pork tips and the pasta in a garlic butter sauce were magnificent. The steamed vegetables were fresh and well cooked but rather flavorless. The salad was unfortunately rather boring head lettuce, tomato and onion. My waitress was very young and not well trained. I had to show her how to bus the table and clear away the dishes without interrupting the patron. But, she was friendly and willing. No doubt she will improve. Will go back again.

My first visit to The Station was this evening for an office holiday dinner. The accommodation was so quick, but very well organized. The staff was very professional and polite. I had the Seaboard Chicken, fried macaroni and cheese and a salad.....OMG DELICIOUS!!! The bar service was EXCELLENT also. I will recommend it to anyone and look forward to my next visit.
Amazing food. What a wonderful treat to find in tiny Americus. Be sure to save room for the Amazing pecan pie. Completely satisfied!(A cool surprise too, to find this painting, we used to live in Minneapolis.)
The fried grits...yum!! I got the crepe, and when I asked the waitress to leave the chicken out as I dont eat it, she asked if I wanted some other veggies in it instead. I said that would be great and she asked if there was anything I didnt want, to which I replied olives. I ended up with a delectable blend of spinach, onions, mushrooms and a bit of tomato. It was great, and I really liked how they volunteered to make an interesting vegetarian dish out of a chicken filled crepe. The side of fried grits was wonderful as well.
Great restaurant! The steaks were great and Georgia took great care of our table!! This was our 1st visit, and we will be back again very soon.
I had the Ribeye Sandwich with steamed veggies. The ribeye was larger than I expected on a sandwich and very flavorful. The steamed veggies were great.
I had the Ribeye with fontina cheese sauce and fried grits. Absolutely delicious! Steak was cooked to perfection, service was wonderful. The prices are reasonable and well worth it. I return every chance I get. Only complaint is no more twice baked potatoes, but you can get a regular baked potato. 10/10 great place for a date!

This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks that I have visited the Station for dinner with my family. On both occasions the food has been phenomenal! Last visit I had the round house rib eye and this visit I had the Baltimore strip. Best steak in Americus hands down! It is always cooked perfectly! The appetizers and sided are amazing! I am pretty sure my family and I have tried them all! No doubt it is a favorite in our book! Thank you for great food and wonderful service everytime!!!
I cant say enough good things about this place! I drove 3 1/2 hours to see the sights and had dinner here based on a recommendation... I am seriously considering coming back in the future just for THIS place... Its that good! Great local beers, unique dishes, great atmosphere & attentive, prompt & friendly service... Whats not to love!? An obvious social hub for the locals, too!
The fried cheese grits are wonderful. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. Paul, the owner, is a really nice person and takes pride in his restaurant. Food is excellent.
I liked the low key atmosphere and the staff was friendly, but my chicken panini could have used a little bit of seasoning. The fried cheese grits were awesome, however!
Ordered the Flat iron steak that was inedible. Entire bottom was a quarter inch of hard gristle that they had cut deep slits into so steak would lay flat. Only thing worse was the service. I dont think our waitresses had ever waited tables before.Stay away

The tomato basil soup or the tomato basil wrap is DEE licious. The button mushrooms are a great side dish. Overall, the food and atmosphere are great! The servers should be more attentive but overall, Ill go back :-D very soon for the quiche/ steak.

The food is excellent. My favorites are the grilled tuna and grilled salmon salads. The accoustics are not the best. It can get pretty noisy with everyone talking.... which makes it difficult to carry on a conversation.

This place is a great atmosphere. Great friendly staff, and amazing food. The hart salad is unreal. Clean middle-class folks with that home town feel. I cant say enough good things about this place!
It wasnt the greatest experience and I wouldnt say my waitress provided the best service but she made up for it in the end. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she saw I was writing a review. I would give it one more try if Im ever back in the area.

Went there for lunch, food was pretty bad. Salad vegetables were virtually inedible, chicken was too dry, crab stuffing was terrible, everything was way too salty.
The Station has consistently good food, good service, and a nice atmosphere. I have eaten here many times and will continue to return.
Showed up at 11 doors were locked. Waited till 11:18 doors were still lock. Dont advertise that you open at 11 if you dont.. Was really craving Mexican food

2022-01-20Me and my husband went here for his birthday dinner. Very nice quiet hole in the wall type restaurant, pretty fancy I have to say. Ordered the steak, it was cooked exactly how I asked for it, great sauce on top, (I suggest ordering the mushrooms to go with it) they are amazing. My husband got the chicken it was very tender and juicey, not dry at all. Kind of pricey for the food but well worth the price I have to say. Overall everything was great, only reason I didnt give it a 5 star was simply because it was harder to find than most restaurants even the sign for it was tiny, and the parking wasnt great either. Reguardless, will definitely be going again. 👍

2022-06-04We had an awesome experience at The Station. The staff was by far the best from the time we entered to leaving. A wide choice on the menu from lamb chops, rib eye steak sandwich to burgers all prepared like a 5 star restaurants. The restaurant is not well signed out front and could be missed if traveling through. Street parking is always full but a walk is worth it. Give them a try we will when going through the area.

2022-01-25Cant say it was bad but not good either, the menu has inaccurate descriptions and some prices but not everything is priced. I had the crepes, 20 bucks for 3 crepes that had some type of bechamel sauce and barely any mushroom or chicken. The highlight of the meal was the raspberry dressing and the salad, just down hill from there unfortunately. Just another par for the course restuarant.

2022-03-06Didnt want to give them 1 star but had to. I really didnt appreciate the fact that I attended a birthday dinner for my friend and when all of our tabs came, the calculated price had been crossed out & a new price was WRITTEN down in place, which happened to be $30-$40 higher than the actual total on our receipts. When questioned about it & everyone caught on to the issue, they all of a sudden said it was a MISTAKE & would correct it. What I dont understand is, how was it a mistake if you crossed out the original price & wrote a whole new price on TEN RECEIPTS?! Food wasnt even worth the trouble! Do Better People!!!!

2021-10-14I have eaten here in the past and have always enjoyed our meal. Tonight was my husbands birthday and we ordered the filet. It was awful. The grade was below standards that I would expect for the cost. We did not eat our meal. It was cold and chewy. The waitress was very nice and was tipped well. It was not her fault. The standards have declined with the food.
