So happy that we decided on The Wheeler House for our wedding! The venue is beautiful, the staff is so helpful, and their vendors are wonderful. The entire wedding planning process was so easy and our day couldn’t have gone smoother.
We knew the moment we toured the venue back in January of 2020, that it was going to be where we got married on 7.9.21! Its awesome how close all the spots are - ceremony, cocktail and reception spaces. No long waits or transportation for older guests. I of course fell in love with the beauty of the barn! An added perk was that I needed minimal decor because it was just absolutely beautiful on its own!! Laiken was our coordinator at the Wheeler House and she was fantastic to work with! She was extremely responsive to my various questions through email, efficient during our 60/30 day meeting, and was so helpful on the day of the wedding! Also highly recommend reserving the cottages for friends and family to stay and get ready in! We wish we could do it again!
The Wheeler House was the perfect place for a wedding that was just out of town. Our wedding party stayed at the cottages. Simply put, we had an absolute blast!The staff made our experience so smooth and enjoyable! They handled any issues that came up leading up to the night and during the night. As a bride, I could not tell if anything went wrong. They were on it and attentive to my every need/want. I am so grateful and happy that I chose The Wheeler House!
The Wheeler House made our wedding truly the best day ever! Our coordinator made sure everything was perfect and exactly the way we wanted it for our day. They answered any and every question we had in a very timely manner. The staff and vendors are so helpful and make sure the day runs so smooth! We stayed at the cottages on property the night before and it was SO CUTE! It was so fun to stay with all of the bridesmaids the night before and it’s a memory I will never forget. A huge thanks to this venue and included vendors for making our wedding day one we will truly remember forever and ever!
The Wheeler House gives you everything that you could want in a wedding and then some. We fell in love with this venue from the moment we laid eyes on it, and the staff proved themselves as extremely caring and helpful every step of the way. Our plan all along was to try and find somewhere that helped all along the way and the inclusive packages helped most of the planning stress off of our chest. We especially loved our coordinator, Baylee, who went above and beyond to make our special day truly special. The aesthetic and decor is all gorgeous, the property is amazing, and the house itself is breathtaking. All in all, we would absolutely recommend The Wheeler House, and we truly value our experience with this venue.
I can’t say enough AMAZING things about my experience working with the Wheeler House. I truly felt taken care of through out the entire wedding planning process and on wedding day! The venue is not only beautiful, it is also staffed with excellent personalities that make you feel welcome and at home. Baylee, our coordinator, did a great job day of. We had a lot of DIY things and she handled it like a champ! So thankful we got to experience our special day at a venue that cared for us like family!
There are not enough words to describe how AMAZING The Wheeler House team is!! Ashley was my wedding coordinator and I literally could not have had the wedding without her. She made sure everything was perfect and answered every question I had. The Wheeler House staff goes above and beyond for every couple and I am forever grateful for the incredible work that they did to make my dream wedding a reality.
When my husband and I first visited The Wheeler House, we knew that was the place we wanted to start our forever together. The venue is absolutely stunning and provides a beautiful, intimate setting for a wedding. Best part - the staff at TWH are top notch! Our wedding coordinator, Laiken, was fantastic and such a joy to work with! She helped us every step of the way through the planning process and even on the big day itself. I cannot recommend their all-inclusive wedding packages (DJ + Cake + Catering) as well as their recommended vendors (Florist + Photographer + Videographer) enough. We were so impressed by each and every one of the vendors who made the planning process seamless, and our wedding day absolutely perfect. True professionals in all aspects! Our friends and family also had nothing but good things to say about the venue, the food, the dancing, and just the entire experience. This venue truly does offer some of the best backdrops and scenery for wedding photos as well – from the historic home to the outdoors ceremony area to the rustic barn. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better wedding and cannot recommend The Wheeler House enough!!
The Wheeler House was wonderful to work with. We had to change our date due to Covid and at the last minute had to have our wedding indoors due to bad weather. They were able to help us re-organize and carry everything off seamlessly and beautifully. Gorgeous venue and amazing staff.
I just got married at the Wheeler House in June and had a fantastic experience! From the planning to the execution, the Wheeler House was exceptional - they were professional and always had their stuff together, but they were also very warm and easy to work with. We went with one of their packages, which worked great for us because it included a lot of what we needed - wedding cake, wedding day coordinator, tables, chairs, food, etc. We also used their vendor recommendation page for our florist, transportation and hair/makeup. We had wonderful experiences with their vetted vendors, and I appreciated having the recommendations to choose from!Ive also attended two other weddings here and both brides spoke highly of the Wheeler House, which helped to influence my decision to book this venue in the first place! They did not disappoint and I highly recommend them to any other bride!!
Saturday April 2nd was one of the most magical days of my life. The Wheeler House was beyond everything I could imagine. All the staff was so helpful especially our coordinator Ashley! She helped me throughout the whole planning process and was with us throughout our whole day making sure it was running smooth. I highly recommend the Wheeler House to anyone looking for a wedding venue ♥️ By far the best day of my life♥️ thank you!
Ashley and Brittany helped me from the first month of engagement to wedding day! 1 month from the wedding my dog had to be hospitalized for a week and needed surgery. Ashley called me to check in consistently and they truly care about their brides and families. I visited 7 venues and this was was THE ONE. It was about the people for me and being a Covid bride the whole wedding planning experience really keeps you grounded of what truly matters, and for me people are what matter most. And let me tell you, after all the venues I visited there are no better people and packages like the ones at the Wheeler house! You don’t have to worry or stress about sifting through cake vendors and hand picking a familiar DJ or looking through hundreds of catering vendors. It’s all in house, it’s all a package. The cake was absolutely delicious, we got the butter vanilla with Jack Daniels infused filling. Andrew, our DJ, did a wonderful job! Last but not least, the food… I’ve never had so many compliments on a meal before!! Our food was a five star steak amazing mashed potatoes, amazing sides, and hors d’oeuvres! Our rehearsal dinner didn’t even get half the compliments on the food and I thought hand picking our food for the rehearsal dinner was a safe choice. Events by design blew everyone out of the water. There’s no comparison and spending all that time looking for a caterer, the Wheeler house has an amazing package with their three vendors and I wouldn’t want them to change that whatsoever! They are owned by a beautiful couple active in the community with an amazing story behind the venue and barn. When people ask where I’m getting married it is my favorite thing to have a story behind how the Wheeler house was originated and how the barn was built. It’s more than just a building it has so much more meaning behind it. It’s a story you can share for the rest of your life when you start your new family at this venue.
We knew from driving past this venue that it would be our top choice to get married at. We set up a meeting to tour and get prices and absolutely fell in love with the Wheeler house! The staffing was amazing the entire time and answered any questions we had. Not to mention the breeze of planning a wedding! I had zero stress of planning my wedding in FOUR MONTHS!!
Let me start by saying Baylee is the absolute best wedding coordinator and we were so blessed and fortunate to have her with us on our special day. Everything was so organized and put together thanks to the amazing staff and all inclusive vendors. The all inclusive option took so much stress off of me and my husband during the planning process. All of the vendors included were top notch and better than I could’ve ever expected. The grounds are stunning and it had the perfect layout for what we envisioned for our wedding. We also rented out the cottages the night before and they were SO cute. It was so much fun for the wedding party to all stay together the night before. I would recommend the Wheeler House to everyone. 10/10 experience and I truly wish we could do it all over again a million times!!!

We were looking for an as close to all inclusive venue we could find due to limited time for planning and stressful jobs. The Wheeler House made planning our dream wedding in 7 months so easy! Our wedding day could not have gone smoother. They have thought of everything down to bringing us an appetizer and water during photos between the ceremony and reception. Our coordinator Ashley promptly responded to all of our emails with any questions that we had. Our guests also loved the venue and had a great time. We couldnt be happier with our experience with The Wheeler House!
I have attended 2 beautiful weddings at The Wheeler House. My best friends daughter and then her son chose this beautiful venue to celebrate their special days. They were two very different weddings, but 2 of the loveliest I have ever been to. Highly recommend The Wheeler House!
I have LOVED photographing weddings at The Wheeler House the past several years! This venue is absolutely stunning from start to finish. Some of the things I love the most about it is the rich greenery, the porches (perfect for photos in case of a rainy day!) and the elegant decor throughout the entire location.I cant wait for many more weddings to come!

The Wheeler House is a intimate and charming venue to get married at. I worked alongside Britt and Laiken especially. They were very accommodating and helpful. Despite having only 6 months to plan a wedding, they both were available and very able to help throughout the planning period.My husband and I had an Indian-American wedding. My guests still rave about the time that they had at my wedding because it was a venue unlike what theyve been to. Everything was organized and many people pitched in to help with the wedding day. Overall, it was a great experience.I appreciate that the Wheeler House has an in house caterer, DJ, and wedding coordinator that we could take advantage of. It definitely helped!

The Wheeler House made our wedding day perfect! I rented a cottage down the road the night before my myself and my bridesmaids to get ready in, which made things super convenient. All of the girls working for the venue were so sweet, helpful and truly made my day a dream! Their preferred vendors (The TC Show, Events by Dezine, Perfection Confection) were amazing as well and made planning so much easier. Would highly recommend! 🙂
As a photographer, we were thrilled to work with the team at The Wheeler House. Not only is it a beautiful venue, the staff makes sure that vendors along with their guest and couples are very well taken care of! Looking forward to photographing a wedding there in the future!

We can not say enough of wonderful things about this amazing venue and their staff. Our daughters wedding was in July of this year and in my daughters words “ it was the most magical evening and everything was perfect!” This is the absolute best thing you can hear as a parent and it would not have been possible without the Wheeler House staff. Ashley was absolutely incredible as our wedding coordinator. She went above and beyond from the very beginning. The professionalism and expertise that Ashley and the entire staff had to offer were so appreciated.We also took advantage of the Wheeler House cottages at the last minute for the wedding party and Ashley and the rest of the staff made this a seamless and easy process. The cottages were such a positive addition to the overall experience giving the groomsmen their own space and as a bonus one of the cottages made the perfect place for the newlyweds to stay the night of the wedding! They are beautiful and cozy!!We literally miss talking to Ashley and miss the entire experience!! Highly recommend this beautiful venue!!

We got married here a month ago and it was amazing! I loved working with Baylee! She was so responsive any time I had a question and made me feel like everything was perfect! Even when we had to find a new officiant last minute, she assured me that it would all work out! Their team is definitely a group that I would recommend to anyone planning! The venue is also beautiful and made our wedding a dream come true!

If you are looking for a venue that goes above and beyond, look no further! The Wheeler house literally made my day seamless….seamless. Of course many people say that something will go wrong on your special day, but I can honestly say nothing did. The Wheeler house has an amazing package that includes amazing vendors. My guests literally can’t stop talking about the food. Our coordinator, Baylee, was absolutely wonderful and SO helpful during the whole process and especially on the wedding day. The venue is absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend getting the cottages for your day! We had so much fun getting ready there and they are so close to the venue!
We had our wedding here this past October and it was an absolute dream. Our coordinator Ashley was fantastic and made sure the day went off without a hitch and was the woman behind the scenes. The included vendors (food, DJ, cake, bartenders) were amazing our guests raved about the service/food/bartenders throughout the night. We were worried about our wedding having to end at 10 (noise ordinance in Ball Ground) but we added on an extra hour to the front end so it was honestly the PERFECT amount of time. Highly recommend renting the cottages down the road for the weekend. We hosted our rehearsal dinner there on Friday night, catered in food, decorated a bit and it was a blast to have family and friends so close.
Absolutely phenomenal space for our wedding! The venue was outstanding with provision of food, atmosphere, scenery, and staff hospitality. Laura, Ashley, and the rest of the staff were nothing but accommodating in preparation for our big day and during the celebration - we can’t praise them enough. The venue played a huge part in the success of our celebration and the amount of our guests who are still talking about your venue is testament to that.
We could not imagine getting married at a place more perfect than The Wheeler House! Everything about it is amazing. From the staff, the beautiful grounds, the large reception space, it is absolutely perfect. The staff is the best part. They worked so hard to make our day easy, relaxed and such a dream. Laura was our planner and we could go on for days about how wonderful she was through the entire planning process and especially on the wedding day. She is one of a kind and we will always be so grateful our paths crossed! We are thankful for great weather on our day but the rainy day weather plan is just as beautiful as the outdoor ceremony space which was a huge draw for us from the very beginning. Also, the TC show DJ package is incredible! Their DJs made our day so fun and kept our guests entertained all night. I cannot say enough good things about this special place. I could write an entire book about The Wheeler House and how amazing they helped to make our Wedding Day, but I’ll try to make it short and sweet! From the moment we started looking at The Wheeler House to the day of our wedding, everyone was so helpful and sweet every step of the way. Let me just say that I am NOT a planner, so the thought of planning a wedding was always very overwhelming to me. The Wheeler House took so much of the pressure off of my fiancé and I, and helped us every step of the way. The planning process was extremely smooth, and having things like the food and DJ included in the package made everything so easy. The Wedding Day itself was absolutely perfect, and I know that we have our wonderful day-of planner Ashley C. to thank for so much of that. I’m sure there was plenty going on behind the scenes the entire day, but I felt nothing but relaxed the entire day and felt like I could really enjoy every second of the day instead of having to worry about the little things. The Wheeler House is an AMAZING venue for every reason, and I would recommend it to anyone currently looking for a venue!
The Wheeler House quite literally made our day perfect. I know for a fact our day wouldn’t have been the same without them. We stayed in the cottages the night before which made for a stress free transition from there to TWH the next day. The cottages were beautiful and clean, an awesome bonus to our wedding weekend. The entire team at TWH were so professional and communicative, I am so incredibly thankful for them. We only toured TWH when looking for a venue and I immediately fell in love. Seriously, partner up with these folks… you won’t regret it. Our day was totally and completely flawless.
I recently attended a wedding at the Wheeler House and was also part of the bridal party. The day was absolutely magical! It was a bride’s fairytale dream - from the bridal dressing suite with floor to ceiling mirrors and claw foot tub perfect for taking photos in, to the breezy porch bed swing. There was a white antique settee that made for exquisite photos of the bride and a gorgeous front porch for sensational photo ops. I could go on and on about the historic house alone, brimful of amazing opportunities to take charming photos. The barn was completely breathtaking; complete with a two story stacked stone fireplace, a balcony overlooking the dance floor, magnificent chandelier, and the fabulous sheer curtains hanging just right perfected with twinkle lights. Even the bride and groom’s exit at the end of the evening was outstanding, with string lights illuminating the brick pathway.The staff at the Wheeler House and the entire day’s operation was positively extraordinary and went off without a hitch. There was access to the kitchen and dining throughout the day so the bridal party could munch on breakfast and lunch - as hair and makeup was being done and pre-wedding photos were taken. The bridal dressing area had a salon type setup for the hair and make up professionals to work their magic. There was plenty of space for all the ladies’ items, a nice rack for hanging the dresses, and room for dressing. The Wheeler House wedding coordinator (and plenty of staff) was there all day, making sure the bride had everything she needed. (Literally. They sent someone to Chick-fil-A so the groom could have something to eat that would not upset his stomach before the ceremony). The wedding coordinator also kept us all on schedule, which is super important – especially to waiting wedding guests. Bathrooms! There were enough bathrooms for the ladies – so important at a huge wedding.The preferred vendors that the bride chose were exceptional. The photographer knew exactly where the perfect photos could be captured. The DJ, florist, and caterers were outstanding. The music was lit; everyone was on the dance floor all night! Like we tore up the dance floor. The flowers were on point, so splendid – like a fairytale. The food was excellent, and we all know how wedding food can either be mouthwatering or distasteful. They had passed hors d’oeuvres after the ceremony, before the reception – Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets, grilled cheese and tomato soup, and cheddar biscuits. There was a chocolate fountain at the reception. A chocolate fountain! Oh and the Wheeler House allows a food truck at the reception, if you so choose. There was a Waffle House food truck at the end of the night! The décor selection from the preferred vendors was refined. The linens, chairs, table centerpieces, etc. the bride selected were stunning.They had a dog of honor! The Wheeler House accommodates furry family too! Lastly, the Wheeler House has cottages - three are available to rent. The wedding party and family had the option to stay in the cottages the night before the wedding as well as the night after the wedding. I don’t live close to Ball Ground so this was an invaluable asset to someone who is family, in the wedding party, and needed to be there the night before for rehearsal dinner as well as early in the morning for hair and make up. It’s a long day and the cottages provide a great respite from the exciting events of the weekend; it makes everything a bit less stressful. They are so charming and have the same rustic feel as the Wheeler House. There’s even a fire pit for hanging out and unwinding the night before the wedding! It was the icing on the cake that truly made the wedding weekend effortless and flawless - not only for the bride and groom but the wedding party and family too.
Went here for an outdoor wedding. Overall, I give this location a 3.5 out of 5 stars for my experience. (Cannot star rate 3 & 1/2 stars) Three main areas; the Wheeler House, outdoor event location and rustic barn. All 3 close to each other and all close to the main road which we heard vehicles during wedding ceremony using outdoor event location.Wheeler House was very cool and looked to be approximately 100 years old. Used by wedding party so not much more I can tell you other than very quaint and well kept.Outdoor area was right behind Wheeler House with hanging chandeliers and white lights encircled by tall white posts and shear curtians. No integrated sound system there so DJ needs to provide it. Overall very nice.The barn was great. Well air conditioned and appears to be new. There were approximately 160 guests which filled the place so anything larger might be a concern. Not sure who provided the food but it was very good and served buffet style.Parking was ample and right next to venue. Dirt parking lot so if it rains can get messy.Overall, great consideration for barn style or outdoor wedding.
Delightful place for a wedding venue. The outdoor and indoor spaces are fantastic, the catering (which works closely with the venue) is superb. Plenty of parking (although we attended as guests via Uber), the area was clean and the staff very competent in directing guests. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of a southern, outdoor wedding.
Often times you hear brides remember their wedding day as a blur... At The Wheeler House, I fondly remember my day so well. Ashley, our Wedding Coordinator helped me through my entire wedding planning process. She truly made the entire wedding such a smooth, wonderful, and memorable time in my life. The Wheeler House provided an amazing space for everything a bride could want. Along with my wedding party, we enjoyed staying in the adorable cottages, getting ready and taking pictures at the gorgeous Wheeler House with wrap-around porches that would make any southern girl swoon, an outdoor space adorned with sheer linens and chandeliers, and the reclaimed lumber barn that served as the perfect space for entertaining our guests with dinner and dancing. As I think back on my wedding day, I am so happy that we chose The Wheeler House. I could not have asked for a more perfect day.

The beautiful and romantic setting no matter what time of year can be personalized in an amazing way to your wedding style and colors. They are incredibly flexible and accommodating. The wedding coordinators cover every little detail, ones I had no idea about and had totally forgotten needed to be decided on. Their vendors are the best of the best and the quality of it all is superb. My wedding was everything I wanted and more and that directly because of the Wheeler House! My wedding was 5/7/21 at The Wheeler House & it was nothing short of a DREAM! From planning to execution, my coordinator Baylee was incredibly responsive & provided fantastic feedback regarding how to implement our ideas. I am the first to get married in my family so we had no idea where to start. Because of their attention to detail & fantastic communication skills, we felt very supported each step of the way. The Wheeler House has a backup plan for literally every scenario so we knew we were in good hands no matter what! The grounds are IMPECABLY maintained & photographs beautifully. I would not change a thing about our wedding - thanks to the wonderful people at The Wheeler House!!Pricing: The Wheeler House is very reasonably priced. We looked at several venues & this was the best bang for our buck by far. The best part about the pricing is SO MUCH IS INCLUDED if you read the packages in detail in comparison to other venues.Planning: The women who coordinate the wedding will invite you to a 60-day & 30-day meeting prior to your wedding. They are available via email or phone if you need to ask something ahead of time but they are on top of it. The team goes to every possible effort to give you the day of your dreams because they genuinely care. It makes all the difference!Grounds: Absolutely unreal! We had a massive 4 day storm the week of my wedding & the grounds looked beautiful on my wedding day.Vendor Suggestions: We used their caterer & DJ, which were both well received by our guests. The food was top notch & the DJ started the biggest and longest wedding dance party I have ever seen! It was truly a celebration & their vendor selection was key to creating the party we really wanted!Execution: Everything went off without a hitch! Their team is incredibly hands on & they keep all hands on deck for weddings, which is so helpful in case you need an extra set of hands (for example, it was a little windy after the storms that week & a vase fell over. They had it cleaned up in less than 2 minutes. Im saying - they are ON IT!).You cant go wrong with this venue! They take care of you like family & its apparent from your first tour to your send-off on your wedding day! Highly recommend!
The Wheeler House is absolute perfection from viewing their pictures online, to our first walkthrough where we fell IN LOVE, to the most amazing day of our lives. The staff at The Wheeler House made everything so easy- we didnt even think twice about booking with them. They do everything for you by providing Catering, the DJ, the Cake, they even have a Florist and Rental places they work with almost every weekend that turned their already beautiful venue into my dream wedding. It was so easy working with all the vendors they already provide because they are so familiar with exactly how everything runs there. The Wheeler House staff were wonderful from the first inquiry with fast response time to helping us through every step of the way with the best positive energy that just made your day better through stressful wedding planning. I recently photographed Bekah & Chuchu’s wedding there and all the details were so romantic and dreamy.It didn’t matter that it rained, everything was beautiful! What an amazing venue! My daughter was the flower girl for my cousins wedding.The main house,the grounds and the barn reception area are absolutely beautiful! We absolutely loved The Wheeler House for our wedding! It was absolutely beautiful. The barn is stunning even with little to no decorations. The coordinators there are always available for questions and took care of EVERYTHING! The best part is that its very affordable as their package includes DJ, cake, catering, coordinator, and bartender. Most venues have you choose your own vendors which gets pretty pricy! I would recommend this venue to everyone!
The Wheeler House exceeded our expectations for a wedding venue. It was very convenient to have almost everything available through the Wheeler House. Even though everything was available through them, it still felt like we were able to customize our day just how we envisioned it. The day of wedding planner was THE BEST part of the Wheeler House. I cannot imagine what we would have done without her!

I got married at The Wheeler House in October 2019. I truly had the best wedding thanks to The Wheeler House and especially Ashley. She was available to answer any questions at any time throughout the wedding planning process making it incredibly easy and took a lot of stress away. I was an out of state bride and they made everything so easy to plan from far away. The vendors they have chosen to work with are equally incredible. The day of the wedding there was a storm and Ashley completely took care of everything for me and had a backup plan inside the barn. I fully believe it was more beautiful than the original plan I had for outside and for that I will always be grateful for her! The Wheeler House will always be a special place for my husband and I and it was such a magical night. I would 100% recommend this venue!I also recommend renting the Cottages as well, it made our weekend even better and our friends LOVED them!!
The Wheeler House exceeded every expectation my wife had for our wedding. The first time she saw this venue was 6 years ago. From the moment she toured the grounds, she imagined her wedding there.Ashley was fabulous in walking us through every step. The Wheeler House made planning stress-free with their preferred vendors. When we had trouble finding a vendor, Ashley was there to help.Getting married in the 2020 pandemic brought more questions than usual, and Ashley walked us through every step. She was accommodating to the constant change of chairs being moved around because guests were backing out.The day of the wedding flowed perfectly. We were lucky enough to have Ashley, but also we had the trainees Ashley and Bailey. Every second of our wedding day was about us and not about the minor details that were happening around. The staff took care of everything and our guests were amazed at how hard the staff worked and how every detail was perfectly considered. The Wheeler House thought of everything and mentioned all of the small things that I wouldn’t have thought about on my own. We had no surprises and just focused on our perfect day.
My husband and I got married in December and we without a doubt made the right decision to get married at The Wheeler House. The planing, rehearsal and wedding was all perfect! The Wheeler House truly made our wedding so special. And Baylee was incredible to work with!!!

Not only did they offer packages to include all vendors needed, but all staff was extremely helpful and encouraging throughout the planning process. Whenever a question was asked, I received prompt and thoughtful responses! I chose the Wheeler House for our venue right as COVID started in February 2020 and never once felt like a “COVID Bride” because of how genuinely excited Baylee and other coordinators were for us! The dedicated coordinator and “all hands on deck” attitude made our wedding day run so smoothly! Highly recommend choosing this venue for your special day! You won’t regret it!
My husband and I had the best experience and the perfect wedding day at The Wheeler House! It was a beautiful venue with both outside and inside options that we were able to enjoy. Having so much included in the package was a huge help when it came to planning for the big day. The DJ was awesome, the cake was beautiful and yummy and the food was absolutely delicious! Over 100 people attended with amply seating and room without everyone being on top of each other. What a dream of a venue! My sister got married at the Wheeler House this past weekend and every single detail went off without a hitch. The bridal party utilized the cottages to get ready in before the ceremony and it was the perfect amount of space for everyone. The venue is absolutely stunning and the entire team was such a joy to work with! They worked so hard in order that we, as the bride’s family, didn’t have to worry about a single thing the entire day. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding day for my sister and her new husband! Would highly, highly recommend!
The Wheeler House was a fairy-tale venue for my son’s wedding. The home was the backdrop of the most beautiful photographs and provided the old-time Southern country wedding my son’s bride had hoped for. Leading up to the wedding, our coordinator Laura was very attentive. I can’t say enough about how amazing Laura is! She was a delight to work with and is an absolute detailed-oriented professional. She thought of every detail. She put our minds at ease and she delivered the day of our event. I had many guests comment on how smoothly the event ran and how courteous everyone at The Wheeler House was. The staff on site the day of my son’s wedding were so helpful and accommodating. The wedding was on a day of record-breaking heat here in Georgia but the temperature in the barn was perfect even though it was scorching outside. Our guests were allowed access to the main floor of the beautiful historic home before the ceremony so they wouldn’t get overheated outside. The food was superb and the bartenders were very attentive. I would highly recommend The Wheeler House as a venue for anyone considering hosting their wedding there.
Our wedding was on 11-8-2020 at The Wheeler House. Everything was amazing and absolutely perfect. The Wheeler House staff really went above and beyond in the planning process as well as the day of. They were always very quick to respond to any questions or any needs we had. They really made us feel like our day was just as important to them, as it was to us. We don’t have enough great things to say about them!
Hosting our wedding at The Wheeler House was hands down the best decision we made in the planning process. Not only is it a STUNNING venue, the photo opportunities are endless, the bridal suite is amazing, the cottages are SO fun for your wedding party or family .. but most importantly Ashley & her staff are amazing and absolutely selfless. It was raining on our wedding day & they walked each individual guest from the house to the barn under an umbrella so no one would get wet. We had a great experience working with the Wheeler House! Laura was our coordinator and she was amazing. The best part of The Wheeler House was that almost everything was included in the package and they have cottages you can rent close by. My family and entire bridal party stayed in the cottages and it was perfect for getting ready. The venue itself is gorgeous and all of our pictures were even prettier because of the awesome backgrounds. The food was incredible and many people have commented to me that it was the best food they have had at a wedding. What I appreciated most about the Wheeler House and their staff is that everyone was so willing to help and never made our wedding seem like it wasnt a top priority even though they have so many other weddings going on. Laura is professional, friendly, personable, and really knows her stuff. I would highly recommend the Wheeler House to anyone getting married! Thanks for everything!
First of all, The Wheeler House and their staff are absolutely amazing!! From the moment I stepped onto the property I fell in love with this venue. The outdoor ceremony area is just beautiful and the barn is perfect!! The packages that they offer make it so much easier to plan a wedding, we absolutely loved all of the vendors included. Our guests cant stop talking about how amazing the food and cake was and how fun the DJ was, we are just so happy we picked The Wheeler House for our special day! Ashley was our coordinator and I cannot say enough great things about her. She is so nice and gave such good advice during the planning process and was the real MVP on our wedding day. I was fortunate enough to be in a wedding held at the Wheeler House in October 2018. This venue is absolutely stunning. The gorgeous old home where the wedding party gets ready for the day, the stunning outdoor ceremony space under the trees and finally the huge rustic barn for the reception all make for a perfect wedding day. The Wheeler House works with multiple top notch vendors who are professional and familiar with the wedding industry. Best of all, this venue has excellent wedding coordinators. Ashley was calm and level headed all day and could take anything that was thrown at her. She made sure the bride didn’t have to lift a finger on her big day. An organized and competent coordinator can make or break a successful wedding day and she was hands-down the best person for the job. I would recommend the Wheeler House to anyone!
All I can say is WOW! I cannot get over how perfect the Wheeler House was for our wedding. Not only is the staff incredible, but the venue itself is stunning. We got married there in September and we couldnt have chosen a better place to celebrate this milestone with our friends and family. Our Wheeler House wedding coordinator Laura was so helpful and extremely organized throughout the whole process. She helped us plan our dream wedding and kept us on track with deadlines. She made great suggestions and had very helpful ideas for our wedding day that my husband and I had not even thought of. Many thanks to Laiken, Laura and Ashley for their wonderful guidance, help, and support during the planning process of my son and new daughters wedding this past weekend. They helped us organize DJ, Catering, Decorating, Photographer, Florist, the wedding cake, limo service...everything! And a very special shout out to Laiken who was there throughout the event coordinating everything on the day of. She was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to make our day perfect! In fact, all of the staff was helpful, fun, and on the ball. True professionals across the board! In addition, the venue is beautiful and their professional experience took so much stress off of the planning and made for a perfectly smooth wedding. Everything was fantastic. Our wedding party also enjoyed staying at the cabins which turned a one day event into a weekend get together full of memorable events we will never forget. When I first toured the venue I fell in love with how beautiful and perfect the space was - but little did I know how amazing our experience would be! Laura (our coordinator) is incredible - she is so adaptable, compassionate, and does her job with so much grace. Everyone in my family (and even my guests) were raving about how she did such an amazing job. If we could do it all over, we’d choose them a million times!
My wedding at The Wheeler House was beyond perfect! The staff is extremely helpful, and it was very evident that they know everything there is to know about wedding planning. They had thought of every last detail and made the planning and execution run smoothly. Amberly was very attentive, responded to my emails quickly, and made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes on the day of the wedding. I seriously didnt have to worry about lifting a finger or making any decisions on the day of my wedding; everything was completely taken care of! In addition to the amazing staff, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. The chandelier, fireplace, and drapery in the barn made for an absolutely gorgeous setting. The vendors used by The Wheeler House were amazing, as well. I had several people say my wedding food was the best wedding food theyve ever had (especially the mac & cheese!), and the cake was delicious too! The DJ was lively and energetic and kept everyone dancing all night. Everything was seriously perfect; I can not say enough good things about this place! I highly recommend!!

My husband and I cannot express how happy we are with The Wheeler House. The venue easily speaks for itself, you get three different locations; the historic house, the gorgeous outside arbor, and the incredible barn, all for the price of one. They are all absolutely breathtaking and our guests were beyond impressed with what they thought was going to be a simple barn wedding. The entire staff is amazing, attentive, and so professional. From the very beginning with touring the premises, to coordinating meetings, the rehearsal, and the big day, they made sure every thing was flawless. They made sure the planning process was easy and took a lot of the stress off of us, they handled all of the accounting with the vendors which is really helpful. As a bride, you already have so much on your plate and The Wheeler House does everything in their power to accommodate you and your guests. We appreciate everything The Wheeler House did but we especially have to thank Laura for always keeping us up to date on our wedding plans and Amberly, our wedding coordinator, who executed the day of our dreams. Where to even start? The Wheeler House offered the most perfect venue for our March wedding. The arbor is perfect, but having a back up indoor ceremony option that was able to accommodate our larger guest list was a must. Thankfully the weather wasn’t an issue on our day, but that was one of our initial draws to the Wheeler House, other than the beautiful venue itself. The Wheeler house team made wedding planning easy and stress free. Their packages offer the perfect amount of flexibility as well as structure to make the planning process an ease! I was planning a wedding from about three hours away, and the team was always so flexible and willing to work around my crazy work schedule (night shift nurse) and the distance problem as well. When my original florist up and moved four months before the wedding, the Wheeler House stepped in and made an awesome referral to Holland daze, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! They made sure the day went off so smoothly and my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our day instead of stressing about how it would unfold. Ashley was right there when we would need her and made sure everything stayed on time! They even let us arrange for my husband and I to eat dinner on the top front porch during cocktail hour to make sure we were able to eat without being bombarded with guests. Everyone who attended our wedding continues to compliment us on it! From the venue to the food to the music, they say it was the most fun wedding they’ve been to. And we’re a little biased, but we most certainly agree!
The Wheeler House staff was so professional and wonderful to work with. Laura my coordinator there was amazing! We had two planning meetings beforehand but she answered questions all throughout the planning process. The venue itself is beautiful. The barn is air conditioned. The upstairs bridal suite had enough room for all of us (8 people) to get ready. Some of the vendors are part of the package price (catering, cake, and DJ). All of their vendors were so wonderful to work with and did such an amazing job. The DJ kept everyone dancing and we got so many compliments on the food. We truly had a perfect wedding and I know that was due to a lot of hard work from the Wheeler House staff.
We couldn’t have been happier with choosing The Wheeler House for my recent wedding!! I had searched many venues, but this one was unique in its affordable price AND super all-inclusive offer. We couldn’t believe how much they take care of: coordinating, tables & chairs, catering, cake, DJ, MC and sound, and everything is on the same property for ceremony and reception, with options for indoor and outdoor in case of rain! It made planning our wedding so much more enjoyable, without the stress of dealing with multiple vendors and trying to make sure everyone arrived on time. The Wheeler House staff were so friendly, accommodating, and on top of things. Laura did an amazing job helping us plan our timeline and was there for the whole event to make sure things flowed smoothly. The only caveat is the town has a noise curfew of 10pm so the event has to end then. However this worked in our favor so we didn’t feel pressure to stay up too late and could enjoy our wedding night with more rest! Highly recommend!! :)

Also, we chose to rent the cottages close by for the night before and on the wedding day and were so happy that we did. They are adorable and are super convenient for getting ready on the day of! Perfect place for a wedding. They did a wonderful job, beautifully done, the food was great. I had the salad, mashed potatoes, chicken and steak, and a roll. It was was all fresh, perfectly seasoned and delicious. I would recommend you trust them with your next big event.

I just got married here on 3/16/18 & it was absolutely PERFECT. Laura and Amberly that work there are awesome & so helpful. Amberly was my day of wedding coordinator and she was great, she kept everything running so smoothly and she was awesome! I couldnt of asked for a better wedding coordinator. We used all the vendors included in their package- DJ was great, cake by Lush was beautiful & exactly what I wanted, & the food was delicious. We did flowers through Holland Daze and all the decor through Miss Millys and everything was so gorgeous. Lastly, there are three super cute cottages that you can rent out. We rented them for the night before and for the wedding night- so much fun! I LOVED getting married there and very highly recommend this venue.
If I could do it over again I would do it the EXACT same- isn’t that what every Bride wants? Having my wedding at the Wheeler House was absolutely perfect and relatively stress free. I had a very busy year since getting engaged- graduating from veterinary school, starting a job, moving to a new city and unfortunately health issues. Laura and the Wheeler house made sure that my wedding was an enjoyable planning experience instead of another stressful thing I had to worry about. The all inclusive package is amazing- our guests are still talking about the food (esp the mashed potatoes), the cake and the DJ. Having such a beautiful ceremony site, the historic home, and the barn all on the property is truly one of a kind. Because of this, my pictures turned out amazing and all my guests could not stop commenting about how beautiful my wedding was. The beauty of the Wheeler House is what initially caught my eye, but the amazing staff really sealed the deal.From the moment I first walked in for my tour, everyone was so professional, accommodating, genuine, and honest. The Wheeler House is an incredible venue. I got married there on September 24th, 2016 and it was everything I hoped it would be and more. The staff is what makes it so amazing. I worked with Laura when securing the date, and had the pleasure of working with Amber as our day of coordinator and these girls went above and beyond. The grounds are so well maintained. The house is simply stunning. The barn is so great for the reception. When night falls and the string lights are on its really magical. We also stayed in the cottages which I highly recommend because we had so much fun spending time with our wedding party throughout the course of the weekend. I couldnt have asked for a better day. My daughter (with the help of her mother, sister and aunt!) chose the Wheeler House for her wedding. The big day was last Sunday and it was one of the best days of our lives!Laura was the coordinator and was great! She is thoughtful, detail oriented, attentive and accommodating. The entire staff was hardworking and efficient.The food was excellent, even as leftovers this week! The DJ had the dance floor packed, and when they opened the dance floor it reminded me of a flash mob!The venue itself is ideal - close to the interstate, plenty of parking, a beautiful setting with a climate controlled reception. My daughter considered some locations in Midtown Atlanta, and I was very happy with the pricing in Ball Ground after starting with the Atlanta quotes!

Where do I begin? When I started touring venues, I was smitten by the Wheeler house because of its beautiful setting and convenience of ceremony and reception availability in one space. I’m very type-A, so I valued the ability to plan months advance with a rainy day backup plan, just in case. The team at the Wheeler House is an absolute DREAM to work with. I cannot say enough good things about Laura and Ashley! I worked specifically with Laura throughout the whole process, and we booked the venue 9 months from our wedding date. I asked a million questions over those 9 months, and she persistently got back to my emails within 24 hours. Laura is incredibly professional, attentive to detail, thorough, and sweet. She made the planning process stress-free and enjoyable! She asked me questions I’d never thought about, she ensured we had all the necessary information for the wedding day far in advance, and she helped ensure my wedding day went flawlessly. I didn’t have a wedding planner, but with myself, the Internet, and the help of Laura, I didn’t need one.On the wedding day, Laura was calm and collected, and she didn’t bother me with any questions. She went to my mom and other contacts for any questions or concerns, leaving this bride at ease and thinking that everything was perfect. It was supposed to rain the day of my wedding, and Laura came calmly upstairs into the bridal suite at 2pm to ask what my final decision was (indoor vs. outdoor), and when I said outdoor, she smiled and left and handled the whole thing. Laura coordinated and conducted the whole day with such grace and ease, and she provided suggestions throughout the process when I didn’t know where to begin or what to ask. She was able to draw on past experiences to recommend the best path forward for my wedding, and she offered suggestions to customize and personalize the day.I can’t say enough positive things about The Wheeler House. I considered many other venues like The Barn at Tatum Acres and White Oaks Barn, but what sold me on the Wheeler House was not just the beautiful grounds. It was the incredible attention to detail, responsiveness, and knowledge of the staff members. It was the countless photo opps that the house, barn, and ceremony space contained. It was the flexibility of the team and the excitement they brought to each meeting! Everyone who works there loves their job and loves to see wedding days come to life and go perfectly, and they make planning an absolute breeze. If you’re even remotely considering the Wheeler House, tour it and you’ll be sold. It was the absolute perfect, ideal space for my wedding and I couldn’t be happier with my decision!
Amazing venue! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding at the Wheeler House and it was stunning. The bridal room is beautiful with plenty of room to get ready for your big day! The whole venue has an inviting historic feel, with beautiful ceremony and reception areas. You won’t regret choosing this venue for your wedding!
If I could give Brides-to-Be one piece of advice it’d be to book the Wheeler House and ensure Laura is your coordinator! I honestly had low expectations about my wedding, simply because I wasn’t feeling very bridal throughout the process. I knew it would be beautiful at the Wheeler House, but I expected to be stressed and the process to be hard and just not fun. However, I was wrong! My new husband and I had a BLAST at our wedding. The entire day ran smoothly; it was so easy for me and my bridesmaids, and was so much fun! I give the Wheeler House and it’s incredible staff full credit for this! My wedding wouldn’t have been as beautiful, as wonderful or as much fun without Laura and her team. My guests keep telling me that my wedding was the most fun wedding they’ve been to… which makes my heart happy… but I can’t take any of the credit.The staff went above and beyond to make this day perfect for us. They made wedding planning and day of execution so easy. I knew at our first planning meeting that we were in good hands. Laura is one of the most helpful, kind, understanding, organized, efficient, sweet and wonderful persons I’ve ever met. She was my wedding fairy godmother. She was so patient with us, went with the flow when we needed to make changes, gave us suggestions when needed and offered lots and lots of encouragement. I could keep going on and on about her. She was a true blessing to our families and helped make our wedding day the BEST DAY EVER. By the end of it all, she felt like a true friend to us. We are so grateful to Laura, and she will always hold a special place in my heart.My wedding day far exceeded my expectations. It truly was a dream day… and that’s coming from a bridal skeptic. I honestly didn’t feel “bridal” until the rehearsal with Laura at the venue…. But then it all came together. The Wheeler House was such a wonderful venue to get married and I would recommend it all day, however as 5 years comes around, my husband and I want to take photos (with our own photographer) at the venue and they want to charge $150 to just go on the property. Im bummed because of the amount of money we spent to have the wedding there in the first place, I would think they would allow us to come back and celebrate our anniversary without having to pay MORE. I understand they are running a business, but you would think they would appreciate their already paid customers.
Absolutely the best decision we made was to have our wedding at the Wheeler House. With everything included in the package you wont be disappointed. Laura was a dream to work with throughout the entire process and made everything so easy and laid back. She thought of all the little things I hadnt and made sure our dream became a reality. The day of our wedding could not have been more perfect - we are so thankful to the entire Wheeler House team for all of their hard work. Oh, and renting the cottages down the road was great. It made getting ready the next day so easy and relaxing. Definitely rent those if you can!
The Wheeler House made our wedding vision come to life. Ashley was our coordinator and she was AMAZING! She was there for every step of the way and made our wedding day flow so smoothly. We knew this venue was the one we would be getting married at as soon as we saw it! The staff is amazing and they literally take care of your each and every need! I had a sparkler crisis two days before my wedding and Laura at the Wheeler House took it off of my hands in a flash! Amber was our wedding coordinator, and I seriously could not have asked for better. She is the sweetest and so very helpful! She made our day perfect and we could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out!!! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and does not require much outside decor should you wish to add to it. If you are looking for a elegant mountain feel to your wedding, this is the venue for you! Plus the beautiful souls that work there are pretty amazing as well!!!
My husband has lived in Ball Ground since we met back in 2016. Every time we passed by The Wheeler House, we were in awe of it and dreamed of the day we could potentially get married there one day. Well, the day came and I immediately reached out to make an appointment to view the venue. It was the only venue we looked at and we signed the papers that day. The staff is amazing and SO HELPFUL! Our wedding day went smoothly with the help of their staff. They were quick to respond and answer any questions we had. They always made us feel like top priority. The venue itself is very simple and elegant. I am in awe of our special day. Now, every time we pass it, it will forever hold a special place in our heart.
My husband and I live out of state and had to plan the majority of our wedding via email and Facetime. Laura and Ashley were so incredible and made sure that all of my questions were answered immediately, making me feel so much better about planning from so far away. Ashley was our coordinator for the day of the wedding and worked so hard to make sure our day went off without a hitch despite the tight schedule we were on and the bad weather. The venue itself is stunning and the team of vendors they include in your package are worth so much more than you actually pay! Our food was incredible and the cake was the best cake weve ever had! It was definitely so nice to know that a team of trusted vendors were included and knew exactly what to do. We cant recommend The Wheeler House enough!
My wedding day (9/27/2020) was flawless thanks to the team at The Wheeler House, along with their caterer and bakery. The staff was easy to work with, the location was beautiful, and we had plenty of space. COVID-19 decreased out guest count, but even at 97, we were able to keep everybody happy and safe and a part of our special day.
We got married at The Wheeler House October 2017 and overall had a good experience! The historic house, the arbor and the barn itself is beautiful amazing! We had to use plan B on our wedding day because of how cold and rainy it was and I was impressed on still how lovely everything turned out. I loved that the DJ, cake, and food services were already included in our package which relieved so much stress on finding companies. Their suggested vendors were amazing too! Holland Daze flowers is incredible along with Miss Millie’s. I personally did not click with our day of coordinator and found or 2 meetings prior more helpful for her than myself and needing to make sure my vision was understood. The coordinator was not with me or moving things along picture wise, or checking in on how I was feeling because she had to make sure the young staff was putting everything correctly. Even with specific pictures and table charts I made and gave her... our table decor that we spent money on was not put out properly, I had signs missing and never found, etc. I loved the venue but think having a coordinator that is interesting in the brides vision and not the “normal” of what is done would have made it better.
The Wheeler House is absolutely beautiful and the staff is incredible. Laura met with us when we came to see the venue and Ashley was our coordinator and both were incredible! My wedding was just perfect due to the amazing staff! I am still gushing with love for this place!
From the moment we toured, to getting married a year and a half later, the Wheeler House has been the absolute best wedding venue we could have every imagined! Everything they did was above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect day! Their all inclusive package connected us with some of the best vendors, saving us a ton of work and money. Ashley, our day of coordinator, was amazing and very accommodating, since I know our game plan was not the easiest to set up! Everyone who worked there and helped with our day went way above and beyond to make us happy! Also, we rented the cottages for our relatives and wedding party and they just made the day that much better! I have fallen in love with the Wheeler House and I know the memories that we have made there will last a lifetime!
I cant say enough great things about the Wheeler House!! This was the first and only place we looked at because we instantly fell in love with the venue. Laura, our event coordinator through the Wheeler House, went above and beyond to make sure our big day went smoothly! The bridal suite inside the house is wonderful and spacious. We were married inside the barn (because I didnt trust the weather) and it was breathtaking! We received so many complements on how beautiful our wedding was and I would HIGHLY recommend the Wheeler House to anyone!
Hands down the best venue I looked at! I am so glad I was able to have my wedding here! The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating! Laura was exceptional - she made my day a breeze! I was big on bringing in my own vendors/caterers and they had no issues with it whatsoever! I can not say enough great things about The Wheeler House. Ashley was my coordinator and she KILLED IT! On her own wedding week too! Let me start at the beginning of the weekend, Rehearsal was Saturday morning and she was up early looking great and gave such great directions for my WHOLE CREW, we have 8 parents between the two of us so it was a full house. Then we went to our rehearsal lunch at Fainting Goat Vineyard (look it up) and then came back to the cottages for an easy night with the whole bridal party and parents. All of our best friends in one place getting to know each other better made my heart so full! And no one had to worry about driving up to the venue super early on the actual wedding day or finding a missing bridesmaid or groomsman. Having everyone at the cottages was so special! BOOK THE COTTAGES! Now onto the BIG DAY, my wedding was everything I could ever want and more. Showing up on the day of everything was so easy, all the girls and mothers got there earlier to get hair and makeup and The Wheeler House allowed us to keep food and drinks in the kitchen in the main house to keep us from starving all day. Then when it got closer to the wedding Ashley had a handle on everything! I knew I didnt want to do anything on my wedding day and I didnt have to do a thing! The only thing anyone from my bridal party had to do was set up the gift table and guest book... SUPER EASY! Overall I had a fantastic day getting ready with my ladies, had a minor freak out because boys were a second late (Youre shocked I know haha) but Ashley and the team of photo&video stepped in and we ended up ahead of schedule for the entire night!!! Overall, the most perfect wedding ever (I know Im bias) but The Wheeler House venue and staff is everything and more that any wedding needs! I have not stopped hearing from everyone how gorgeous the venue is and no one even noticed the staff because they were all so sharply dressed and looked like they were attending a wedding! The whole staff at the wheeler house and the vendors that they work with were like tiny wedding fairies that make your dreams come true.
I needed to pick the venue for my daughters wedding because she was living out of the state. From the moment I met Laura and toured the Wheeler House I knew this was the place, and thru FaceTime so did my daughter. Laura left no stone unturned and it paid off because our daughters wedding was perfectly orchestrated. As a mother of the bride I was able to really enjoy the wedding because I knew Laura and her staff had everything under control. I recommend the Wheeler House to anyone getting married looking for the perfect venue.

I really dont know where to start! From the initial meeting till the time we hopped in our limo leaving the venue on our wedding night.. everything was perfect. We booked the Venue in November and married the next October. Laura and Ashley were there every step of the way. There were no hidden cost, everything that is presented to you about what is covered and isnt covered is very clear when the contract is signed. Laura and Ashley went above and beyond on our wedding day. From last minute changes to both of them rushing to bustle my dress before we walked into the reception. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The WHOLE team at the Wheeler House is so hard working and will do whatever is takes to make the day perfect for you. Can’t say enough good things - they had a plan for everything which came in handy as the weather was extremely up in the air on my wedding day. The staff is so kind and helpful and walks with you through the entire process - asked me about the little things I very likely would have forgotten. They keep you calm during stressful times and constantly remind you the reason for the day. We attended a friends wedding here and it was stunning. They had the ceremony outside and the reception in the barn and everything was insanely gorgeous. Beautiful venue, very antebellum with so much southern charm. The folks over their work very close with you about the details of your special day. They offer lots of cool options for your event and while they do come at a price they are so unique and beautiful in old southern way!
BEWARE! They give you a package deal...then...if you want the dressing room the day of the wedding - bam $1,000 more - they tell you this after the fact. Having a Rehearsal? Beware, they will book another event. They tell you that you must wait for a rehearsal time. Guess what? You will be having a rehearsal at 9AM in the morning on a weekday. Do your research before you book this venue!

2022-02-18My husband and I had our wedding at The Wheeler House a few weeks back and what a great experience it was. Ashley and her team were so great to work with throughout the whole planning process, and were always quick to respond to any questions we had. On the day of, they were all very supportive and encouraging, which was super appreciative as nerves were high! Everything was so worth it, from the food, to the extra time we requested for the day. And on top of all of that, the venue was so beautiful! All of my guests loved it, and thought it was just perfect. Even though it rained a bit the day of, I couldnt have asked for a more perfect day. Thanks again Wheeler House :) !

2022-04-24I cant say enough good things about the Wheeler House! From the first time I toured in person to wedding day, everything was perfect! Wheeler House was the first venue we toured, and we fell in love! We also booked the cottages which I highly recommend for getting ready the day of the wedding! All the gals are easy to reach when you have any questions over phone or email. I also enjoyed the open house where you got to sample food from the in house caterers so that I didnt have to make a separate appointment to sample food. The other in house vendors (DJ and bakery) were fantastic. All of my guests said that the wedding cake was the best cake they have ever had! 2022-02-19My husband and I can’t stop talking about our wedding at The Wheeler House! It was the second venue we toured and we signed the contract to book within hours of touring the venue; the grounds are beautiful and it is SO versatile. We rented the cottages the night before and the night of which was AMAZING. We had the most fun rehearsal after party with our family and wedding party; we will never forget those moments. Our ceremony was indoors due to it being winter and it was so beautiful. There are tons of locations for pictures too! Ansley and Bailey coordinated our planning meetings/wedding day and they were amazing! Ansley even set up my decor for me that I brought myself the night before. The Wheeler House coordinates with your other vendors so that you truly do not have to lift a finger. Everything was PERFECT, beyond what we envisioned for the day, and I have zero regrets or complaints. Our guests thought it was beautiful too and really felt welcomed and accommodated by the staff. If you want a seamless day from start to finish, get married at the wheeler house!

2022-02-18Worked with The Wheeler House throughout my short 3 month planning period, and while I wouldn’t recommend trying to plan a wedding that quick, I would recommend getting married at The Wheeler House!! Every bit of the planning process was made smooth and easy with Ashley’s help. And I could type a novel about how incredible our wedding day was. From renting the cottages (highly recommend) to the sparkler send off and every detail in between, our hearts were overjoyed! I am so appreciative of this place for making my dream wedding day a reality.

2022-01-09First off, the Wheeler House staff is amazing! Laiken was my coordinator, along with Emma who was training, and they were both extremely helpful. They have an extensive list of preferred vendors, which made planning a wedding in less than 7 months fairly easy! The venue itself is gorgeous and had everything we needed to spend the whole day there. They even have cottages close by that you can rent if you have family coming in from out of town. Sadly they were already booked for the weekend we got married, but I wouldve loved to stay in those with the bridal party! All around, this is a great place to get married.

2022-02-18I am so glad that my husband and I decided to go with the Wheeler House for our wedding! The whole process from start to finish with them was smooth and as stress-free as planning a wedding can be. :) They were excellent at communicating what they needed from us when they needed it and were so helpful with anything that we needed or had questions about. The venue is gorgeous and we had so many guests rave about how good the food was. I gathered/planned my own decor and had a florist that I know come in and set up decor and all of the florals and the Wheeler House staff was so laid back and accommodating when it came to all of that. Also, our day of coordinator Baylee was the best and helped answer so many questions and even took some things off of my to-do list at both our 60 and 30 day meetings. Thank you, Wheeler House for such a great experience!

2022-01-12I had the BEST time getting married at The Wheeler House and could not have asked for a more perfect day! ✨ We heard so many compliments from our guests of how beautiful the venue was, how gorgeous the ceremony was, how amazing the food was, and how much FUN the reception was! Laiken and the staff and in-house vendors went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make November 26th, 2021 the best day of our lives! If you’re wondering whether or not you should get married at The Wheeler House … you absolutely should!!!! 10000/10 :)

2021-12-06I loved everything about The Wheeler House. They were quick to respond to ALL questions I had. It made it so easy that it included almost everything from catering, cake vendor, and DJ. Bailey was my coordinator and she was amazing. But everyone that I had a chance to talk to and work with was just as great so you would be lucky to have any one of them. This is a venue I would definitely recommend. They made my big day so magical.

2021-11-03Wow! Our wedding at the Wheeler House was nothing short of magical! Our day of coordinator was Laiken and she was fantastic! They made it so that we didnt have to worry about a thing! We just got to sit back and enjoy the day! Beautiful grounds with so many places to take pictures. Everyone said our food was the best theyve ever had at a wedding. The DJ did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor and our cake was delicious! Im so glad we picked the Wheeler House for our wedding!
