Aggie love coming there except when its nail trimming time. She is a no touch on paws. Buttery have a great staff there that really takes good care of your pets.
Awesome people and do fantastic work with my dogs.
Had to have a baby goat euthanized last week. When I called they said if I could get there before lunch they could take care of it. I arrived 20 min later. Called when I arrived they said they would be right out. 30 min later, I had to flag someone down in the parking lot to make sure I could get in before lunch. They seemed a bit unorganized. When they did finally come out to my car they had the wrong name. Anyways, they took the baby goat and ask if I wanted to come in. I declined. They did let me come back later and pay and pick him up to be buried. They may have been handling some emergencies when I came in, which I under stand, but please just relay that information to the client.
I have enjoyed the veterinary they have helped me two of my cats.
I have an old boxer getting to be near her time, the,staff has been super caring and honest about her future. They are trying to aid with her discomfort in all ways possible. All the staff love animals and keep the patients best interest in mind. Super friendly folks might I add. So glad I found them!!!
The staff was kind and the appointment was quick with very little wait time. Aimee was amazing and gentle with my sick pup! You could tell she truly cares and has a passion for taking care of animals! 10/10 would recommend and return!
After the emergency vet was full and our regular vet and backup vet were unable to fit us in the staff(especially Jessica) helped get our baby set up for (hopefully) recovery. Never asked if Id been there before, simply said come on we will fit you in. My 10 yo and I are grateful for your help! Praying Z makes a full recovery. I know she has a fighting chance with the staff!
I took my ram lamb and 2 cats here for some surgery and Dr. Chandra and her team did a wonderful job. All my animals healed really well and if I ever had any questions, I could send them a text and my question was answered quite fast. I really appreciate the care they gave my pets!
I truly cannot say enough good things about this veterinary clinic. I was in town from Texas and my dog had a crisis. Every veterinary clinic that I called was booked up for the day. Thompson Vet services was also booked up, but they said, it sounds like we really need to get Chica in to be seen. We need to find out what’s going on so we will squeeze you in. And sure enough they did. They were so kind and concerned and it helped me so much. My dog is feeling so much better today because I visited this Veterinary clinic yesterday. They took great care of her!! It was great value and great kindnesses were shown to us both!! Thank you guys so much! I wish I had you back home in Texas! ❤️🐕❤️
We cant say enough nice things about Thompson Veterinary Services. Sadly, we first met them when our beloved elderly cat had come to the end of her time with us. They could not have been kinder or more compassionate--even staying on a few minutes after closing so my daughter could hurry from work to say goodbye. Excellent people--and we will be trusting them with all our pet care from here on out!!

I only needed a nail trim for my little guy Freddie Mercury but they saw him as a walk-in and were very good with him as he is deaf and very very unsure in new surroundings. I will be back.
Very good , with animals not over priceed like others in Thomaston and Barnesville . They treat everyone with resepct , and have nothing but compassion for all pets. They are like the old vets when I was little . I was told by a vet in Thomaston my dog needed surgery and another in Barnesville she had heart worms both wanted 1000$ to treet her , they both lied thats has been 5 years ago and she is still fine , they should be ashamed of themselves. Using your love for your pet to rip you off. I will never take any of my pets any where else.
They did the work that they were supposed to but they dont tell you that they charge for resuscitation of your animal if they die during surgery they said it would cost $400 to perform CPR for 15 minutes this is absolutely shocking! They use anesthesia by the 15 minute interval charging $100 per interval I went and got my cat fixed it was over $500! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! They care about your wallet not your pets! I will never go back to this place!
Today there was an emergency with our cat Splash. For some reason they turned on her. I rushed her to the office. They took care of her immediately. When they brought her right back out, they said she was a fighter! All the blood on her was from the dogs! A couple of her front claws were bruised and bloody from defending herself. I believe thisexperience was more traumatic for my husband and me, than for her.They were professional and kind.Also, I was in complete shock when the charge for the emergency vet visit was only $39.00
I’m new to the area and my Lab needed to be treated for an ear infection. They worked me into their busy schedule so I could get him on medication. We have found our new veterinarian. Everyone there is wonderful!

I pick up our Bravecto flea and tick treatment tabs from their office every three months. Chandra had come out to vacinate, and pull samples for coggins on all our animals at once. So nice!
Super fast lab results..like 8min, & they stayed open after closing to make sure we had medicine!!

2022-02-11Took our big guy there today to check on how well he was doing with his skin fungus & allergies. As he is almost 16 we thought we may be looking at losing him. Dr T came to car & drew blood & looked him over. So glad Dr Thompson is available here locally. We are taking him in next week for a treatment bath as my wife & I are in our 70s. We have been sick with CV19 & flu at same time & are very week. Thank you Drs Thompson & Vaughn for being so positive & encouraging.

2021-12-13Thompson Veterinary was absolutely amazing to us. Our little old man kitty is 13 this year and this morning he woke up in bad shape. We were almost certain we would have to say goodbye. Thompson got us in right away and did everything they could to stay in our teeny, tiny budget.They literally have the nicest staff in the world and Im so grateful for the amazing care they showed our little guy. Hes at home resting now, and I could not recommend Thompson enough.They are absolutely fantastic.

2021-11-29We are new to living in the south. Our Blue girl became very sick, near death to be exact. I took her to Thompson Vet because I couldn’t get her in anyplace else. They were kind and understanding and formulated a plan to get Blue back in her feet. She had to stay overnight but it worked. Blue is now back to her sassy self. I’d recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet who has a passion for treating our fur babies.
