I enjoy buying my vehicles here, this is my 2nd vehicle. First was for my daughter. They helped me get her a 2016 toyota that had low miles. Car is still running strong to this day. I just bought my Ford f150 there. They tried their best to get me financed and finally found the perfect lender for me. Thanks Ron and Owen!

Zero stars! Drove it for 3 days and engine light comes on. Tried to get it back the short distance to Tier 1 only to have it break down 4 blocks from the dealership. When I called and asked if they could help get it towed back they refused and when I got upset they hung up on me. I walked to the dealership and when I confronted them about hanging up on me they threatened to call the police. Was I upset? Yes. Who wouldnt be? Did they offer any help at all? NO! They basically said it was not their problem. I then had to have it towed to a mechanic where they found multiple problems that will now cost me another $3500 to fix. Dont walk, run, away from these shady characters.
Was easily approved over the phone, great and fair financing terms, many different options and selections to choose from, Alex and John really helped out through the process where every other dealer was not even giving me the opportunity to explain my situation. Great customer service, great selection of cars, definitely recommend this place.
At the beginning of February (nearly 2 months ago) I bought a 2011 Chevy Impala from this dealer. Not only were they professional, they were kind and reassuring. The car had a passing emissions certificate (Though not needed in Hall county, it held merit on its own), and no issues that werent expected with a car of its make/model as well with as many miles on it as it has. They also included a 3 month warranty that covers most of the basics (engine, transmission, etc). A month after purchase I found issues with the Power Steering, and ended up needing a whole new pump. I ended up bringing it back to Tier 1 to have their mechanic take a look at it and ended up paying on the lower than average cost to have such an issue replaced/repaired.Overall very satisfied with them and will keep them in mind if ever I have need for their services again.
I have been treated with so much compassion and dignity at Tier 1 Auto. I saw the vehicle I wanted on Kelly Bluebook and from that moment on I have been satisfied with my services. Although I am about an hour away and had to travel some distance to get to this location, I am so thankful that I did. Alex and his counterparts have been nothing short of Amazon in making sure I was satisfied. Me vehicle is running great, my price was reasonable and each concern has been thoroughly taking care of. I cannot thank you guys enough!!
Place is a great place to buy a car. Place has awesome and respectful sales people and just overall the place to go for a car. Didn’t have any issues while being there. Not to mention place is full of good honest employees!
Bought a mustang from them a few months back and have been fixing it ever since. Knowing there are some issues is expected its used of course. But the issue comes when they price the car off of a excellent Value and say everything such as ac works. Ac dosnt work, rims were completely rusted inside and junk, I replaced too because if a major leak they forgot to mention, sun visors were missing ( I should have caught that one but I over looked it) And they use a EXCELLENT Value.... HOW is my question. So you when go talk to them Just know the Value they say the car is worth is from an Excellent value NOT WHAT YOU ARE actually looking at in front of you. Just a ongoing issue pretty disappointed. Problem after Problem not sure I will be back to buy again.
Listen, if your going to purchase a vehicle in or around the hall/gwinnete/athens area...you should definitely go here. After getting the run around and hassling about a higher down payment at a few other local places...I found this dealership. They treated me like I was an actual relative. They were kind, understanding, and got me the best deal..I cant even explain how happy I was. The perfect down payment and lower payment than I could have asked for. Ill be back to purchas another vehicle for ny other son in 4 months. Than you to Alex, Andrew , John and Ron. I hope you guys continue to be successful with your integrity and honesty

We called and made an appointment to see a vehicle we were interested, unlike the other dealers we visited that day, they had the car washed and ready and smelling real nice in the inside, John helped me with the process and paperwork which was super easy and fast and not only that, even though I liked what I came for, he still spent some times showing me different options to make sure I’m buying the right car.Very helpful, professional and excellent customer service.

Sold us a good looking car that turned out to be junk underneath. To settle it via BBB, they offered trading in for a percentage of the actual value based on the condition of the car we presented to them, inadvertently admitting that they actually sold junk to us three weeks earlier - while they didn’t even have a car on the lot that didn’t show signs of bigger issues upon investigation by the mechanic we brought this time. Highly recommend bringing an experienced mechanic when buying from this dealership.
So thankful I came here for my first car I’ve purchase, especially Johns who walked me through the steps on how to get in to a new car and how financing works and Alex helping me figure out how to change my oil and what type of fluids the car takes absolutely love this place if your looking to get in a new car tier one auto sales is the place to go, I drove from Florida to get this car and I’ve had no issues with it best daily driver thanks to Johns and Alex for everything
Just bought a car for my son a week ago. Jon and Alex where absolutely amazing in their customer service and professionalism. They were upfront in the dealings with my family and sold us a wonderful and reliable car within our. I would have no problem returning to find a car for another one of my kids or myself. So glad I found this car lot that was a good ways from my home but very much worth the drive. By the way the paper work was the quickest process I’ve been through than with any other previous used car purchases. My son is loving his 2008 Mazda CX-9!!!
Update: JUST SPENT $2k on a new transmission. There was water in my transmission. Reverse no longer works on this pickup and the forward gears are going out shortly. This truck was a complete LEMON. Im reporting them to the regulatory agencies that monitor used care sales in Georgia.The car buying experience from HELL.

Disappointing day. Had called about a car the day before and decided to go to take a look and was told there would be some room to negotiate. Took time off work to go and have the most apathetic experience of looking at a car and then told there was no room to negotiate, despite the vehicle in need of serious cleaning and a spare tire. Wasted my time as Id fully expected to come home with a car. Cant even say who I dealt with as they never asked for my name or gave me theirs. Really didnt feel like they wanted to sell a car.*Update* There was no mention of that negotiation could be done with only with cash offers when I called. My rating is based on the communication and interactions, not because I didnt get what i wanted. Last I checked, there is usually a bit of back and forth in car offers. Im sure others have had fine experiences given the other reviews, but this was mine.And no i wont be calling as the response suggested - that bridge is burned.

Had to drive a little up to Gainesville GA, quite a drive but it was worth it.They have great financing options, Alex walked me through and explained the terms, John really helped with what car I should pick, ended up with a nice 2014 Chevrolet Spark and it’s been very good so far.
I Bought a 2006 Lincoln Navigator back in May of 2021. Some how the vehicle was fixed just to pass emissions because the moment I drove it off the lot the check engine light came on. The vehicle is in desperate need of a tune up. The radio, back up camera, and automatic rear door doesnt work. None of this was shown or explained to me before I purchased the vehicle. Before I pulled the vehicle off the lot its worth was listed as $6500 now it is only worth $3000. I would not suggest buying a vehicle from Tier 1 Auto unless you have your own mechanic present.
John tried to bully me into buying a car. I had gotten into their 2013 Mazda 6 and wiggled the car around to get a feel for the turning and brakes and went back inside to ask to test drive the vehicle. I was filling out a loan for a pre-approval and John came back in saying that I had damaged 2 cars and chipped the paint. I had looked afterwards to see the Mazda had no more than half of an inch of chipped paint on the doors edge that wasnt there when I had left the car. He later claimed that he had video of me damaging the cars and asked for my insurance and proceeded to ask if I was still interested in purchasing the Mazda 6! When I had let him know I did not hurt the cars and I was gentle opening and closing he said he would further review the footage and I had asked for him to send me the footage as well. He later said they would take care of the damages after further review. Not bother with this place again, Ive never had someone try to force me to buy a car cause of a mistake they made, much less because of a little chipped paint.Update: Tier 1 had reached out to me and apologized for what had happened and offered a gift card as well, making the situation much better. While there was an issue in the past I will say that after the conversation I had with another representative along with the gift card I feel a lot more comfortable working with them.
Tier One Auto Sales is one of the most honest businesses out there , they treated me like a family member and took great care of me , I’m extremely pleased with the experience I had . Ask for Ali when you get there he’ll take exceptional care of you .
It hasn’t even been six months since we purchased a black 2007 Lincoln Navigator from them before everything started to fall apart. Things for sure should’ve been caught on the Emission test, if it was done fair and correctly. How is it that our CV Axle needs to be replaced, transmission is shaky, the hydraulic in the suspension are bad, spark plugs need to be replaced, struts and rotors are bad, and the information that’s displayed on the dashboard is inaccurate. This is poor due diligence on the vehicle by a dealership, horrible customer service for portraying one thing and selling another, and the worst part is “NO ACCOUNTABILITY”!Signing off…”Angry Wife”!

2022-08-17After months of looking, I finally purchased the perfect car at tier 1 auto. We showed up needing someone who was willing to take their time and show us several options to meet our needs and that’s exactly what Ron did. Ron was attentive, kind, and an excellent problem solver throughout our long day. John helped us with the paperwork and he was awesome. He communicated well to us and was patient in his explanation. One thing I can say is that at some point, I ran into every person that worked there from the mechanics to the sales people to the finance manager and they were all from top to bottom on point in their customer service: knowledgeable, attentive, and charismatic. The shop has a car for just about anyone. We will definitely be back when we need a new car to buy with Ron!

2022-07-29I bought a vehicle yesterday for my daughter. My father owned a dealership and I was in insurance for 38 years. Im only telling this because it gives me excellent insights into dealership sales and service. I must say I was most pleasantly surprised with the level of assistance/service we were given in our car buying experience yesterday. Ron Nick, our Sales Executive, provided us with more than one option. It was evident he had done the work. It was a refreshing experience with a refreshing thoughtful sales executive. I would go back and I will refer people to Tier 1.

2022-07-31They were nice people. I bought a 2008 m6 from them because the stock clutch was replaced. 2 days after driving the car, clutch is completely shredded to pieces and I had to fork out an extra $7000 to fix it. Mechanic pulled it and confirmed it was the stock clutch not a new one (had original date on it). I wouldn’t trust them. They seem like nice people but they lied to us. Process of buying the car was easy, probably because they wanted to get it off the lot. They also gave me a warranty which I was excited about, the warranty covers nothing and they gave me the cheapest coverage they could.They said they were ordering a suede dash and sending it my way, it arrived and it’s just regular leather and not suede. They also were sharing videos of them racing the car at what looked like car meet right as I was signing the paperwork. I would not do business with them again due to the lack of honesty, if they would have been honest, things would have been different.

2022-07-24Highly recommend the guys at Tier 1!!! Had a wonderful buying experience, amazing customer service, really made sure we were satisfied and taken care of 100%. They made us feel like family, and even accommodated our rambunctious 5yr old and helped keep him occupied. Definitely plan to return in the future for our daughter’s first car. 2022-04-17I’m not a review person guy but to be honest there are not many dealership like this. First of all it is a family business own and they treat you like you are part of their family. Since I’ve been knowing them I bough 3 cars and I can’t explain how fun and smooth the process was.Definitely recommend them for people looking to buy their first car because they sell from economic to full luxury cars. 👍
