I need to give a Huge 5 star shout out to my A TEAM!!! Amanda, Alexis, Adrienne and Alex sure do a great job of keeping our vehicles on the road! Not once this week, but twice our vehicles needed attention this week! One getting our military sons truck ready for his visit home. Another due to vandalism on our Mustang!All of our vehicles from the 66 Mustang, the 2001 dropped S10, the 84 Silverado and my 99 Navagator have each gotten tires and other necessities fixed with excellent service and great prices!!! You get what you pay for, thats why we always choose Mavis Pooler location.
They broke my brothers turn signal, like it was hanging on only by the wires and I spoke with corporate and they said someone from the location it happened would be giving me a call within 2 days and they never got in touch. And also they did my oil change and my car started smoking because my oil was overfilled and I had to get my turbo and some valve replaced. Which was $2500 worth of repairs for someone being careless.
What an experience with my car. Had been to 2 other mavis locations and they where both unable to help or properly fix my edge. Break booster Then I made my way to the pooler location where I met alexis. She was awesome!!!She got me scheduled and ready to go. She took here time to explain to me in detail exactly what was going on and what needed to be done. She went over and above to get me in.What ever you do keep alexis at this location. She will keep customers happy and returning!Thanks much appreciated
Scheduled an appointment for my retired mother to do a brake fluid and power steering fluid change. Was told it would be quick, 30-minute job and got a fair quote on pricing, so I confirmed the appointment since she knows the location and thought it would be quick/easy for her. She takes the car in on time and 3 hours later, my mother called saying she was still there. I spoke to the rep on the phone to find out what was going on, and they said they just pulled the car into the bay. They gave no updates to my mother as she went next door to shop in the plaza as her car was being serviced, expecting it to be done well in advance before returning. Total time 3.5 hours. A courtesy call would have gone a long ways. And the price quoted was higher, so we had to tell them and they lowered it to the original quote. Do not send your family here.
Update 6/16/2020Since buying the tires, Ive been using these guys (and Mavis in general) exclusively. I went to another Mavis and spent a ton (to me) to redo my suspension. Less than 5 months later my shocks were leaking. I had to pay labor to replace them but didnt have to pay for the shocks. Thats reasonable. Everyone Ive dealt with has been super nice. I stop by on my way home before a trip to Atlanta so they can check tire pressure, etc. and they always make time for me. Josh (the manager) is very helpful.Called to order 3 tires on Monday. Arrived at 8, they started at 8:30 and were done by 10. Thats not bad for installing 3 tires and a full waiting room. These guys are busy. They matched a price of the tires that I found online and saved me a few bucks. No issues and the Mavis road hazard warranty is worth it for the tire rotations.
We got a flat tire. Arrived just before. Closing Alex K. didnt hesitate to help got us in right away. After we were ready to check out. Alex informed us that one of the sensors was not working. I told him we knew it but hadnt had a chance to get it to the dealership with the part he said do you have the part I said yes. Ill put it on for you. Even though they were closing in 5 minutes. Above and beyond the call of service. Cassandra her my grandchildren say Im hungry Nana. She offered them a snack. Again above and beyond. Thank you so much 💓 Highly recommended 😊
These guys are the best! I’d never been here to have any service done before and they had me in and out incredibly fast and were so polite and nice! I had left Walmart after trying to get my oil changed for over an hour and the employees couldn’t be less interested in being at work. Here at Mavis, they were super friendly not only to one another but also to everyone that was a customer there. I will definitely be coming here from now on and recommend them to everyone I know!
I had a scheduled appointment a week in advance, first vehicle in, to mount and balance a set of tires. The mechanic didnt have a key to get the locking lug off so I gave them mine. It took 2 and a half hours... This is much longer than expected. Consider dropping off instead of waiting.
Buyer Beware. 30 days after buying brand new tires, i notice 3 lug nuts missing in my passenger rear wheel. No idea how long its been this way as I hardly ever go on this side of my car. Thank God it didnt end badly for me or my grandbaby. When we called the nonchalant attitude was very alarming.
They are running a scam. Inconsistent prices on services based on who you get on the phone and at the counter. Unprofessional place of business.If the person at the store chooses to ignore any agreements made on the phone earlier, you’re out of luck. Don’t waste your time here. Go elsewhere.
I was headed out one morning for a 16 hour road trip and when I pulled out of the garage the tire light illuminated on the dashboard. I drove down to Mavis to see if they could add some air to the tires. They quickly ushered me in and the two ladies helped put air in the tires. When I asked about paying for it they said No Charge. I was on the road with only a 10 minute delay to my trip and a whole lot of worry was relieved. I made it the 16 hours with no more tire issues.
I needed to get a new battery and I first considered doing it myself but instead on a suggestion went here. VERY happy I did. I was immediately greeted at the door by Amanda who got my car in. Antwan did the work and made sure the battery and the existing alternator were working properly before sending me on my way. I realize replacing a battery is not a difficult job but these folks did it quickly and with a smile. Wasnt expecting to write a review this positive but they earned it. Will definitely consider going back for other maintenance.
Had a scheduled appointment and my vehicle was not taken back for service for 55 minutes. No one at the desk had the professional courtesy to even explain as to why this was happening. Also, one of the services was not completed because one of the mechanics quit that day and yet no one decided to share that with me either. I will never go back to this place for any type of service and discourage anyone else from considering this place for vehicle/tire maintenance.
I walked in stressed out due to a flat tire. Has not been a good day at all so far for me but things changed after walking into Mavis...The service ladies informed me they dont typically take walk ins but would try to fit me in anyways so I wouldnt have to stress anymore, Shelby, Amanda, Brian and rest of staff are my saviors. Although my wait will end up being a couple hours, due to no appointment, I am thankful they actually were able to help me. Very friendly staff. They even loaned me a phone charger which enabled me to keep up with updating everyone and my job. Definitely will come back. Thank you to the Mavis service staff. 5 stars on great customer service!
I wish I could give a negative star. I was so happy with my new tires and my brakes. Until about 300 miles then we heard a noise coming from the front passenger side. We thought it was the hub... so we take it back and sit for 4 hours for them to tell us everything is fine and if we keep hearing a noise to come back. They checked the bakes and found something was bent but thats not the issue... okay fine so we leave after the said everything was tight and looks good... I spent $1500 with them... I will not be going back.... we drive my truck to NC and the noise is still bad and loud... finally we take my truck to Firestone and they just called , my brakes were installed backwards... well now they have wore down so I have to get new brakes on that one side.... savannah tire looked at it and said all was good.. how didnt you know..... so more money to fix there mess up.. I gave them the chance to fix it when they looked at it....
Terrible customer service. Made an appointment and they did not schedule it. Told me I need 400.00 for rotars and pads . The thing is, the dealership works on my car and told me I only need front break pads last week. When I told Mavis this, I was told I would loose my warranty. To heck with Mavis, first and last time I will try and save money and use them. I am taking my vehicle back to the dealership to have right mechanic s work on my vehicle. Worst customer service the people at the counter had attitudes. What ever happened to customer service.run from this place..... crooked
Had a 10:00 appointment to get four tires and a front end alignment. Five hours later I get out of there without a front end alignment because they said we needed parts that hubby already had replaced prior. FIVE HOURS TO MOUNT, BALANCE AND PUT ON FOUR TIRES!!! What are appointments for?!!!!
This location came highly recommended, as Im not local and had no clue where to take my vehicle for a quick service. Amanda was very friendly at check in and Leah was just as efficient with my check out. Thanks for the speedy and quality service everyone provided today!
I was in complete distress over my tire that was literally moments from falling apart. Not only were the staff amazingly kind, but they helped correct the issue immediately. Never have I had such exemplary service before. They will be the first place I call for future need.
Talk to three different people over the past two weeks about putting ONE tire on for a Saturday and was told twice it wont take any longer then an hour and a half to two hours tops.only reason we asked is because we planned on leaving at a decent time that day for our annual camping trip. Saturday rolls around we drop the tire off (10:30)go SIT and eat lunch then shopping. We come back three hours later (1:30) to find out nothings happened and to check back in around (4:30) for a total of 6 hours to swamp an old tire off the rim for a new one. not that the customer service was bad at all they were actually very professional.the white woman and black male at the front were great...just really wish who ever answer the phone would have been honest from the beginning so I could have made other arrangements.
Kimarra Byrd is an exceptional employee for this company. My experience coming to this place was very outstanding! I was greeted with a smile, my questions were answered and my vehicle was fixed in the promised amount of time. Kimarra was pleasant and her customer service deserves proper recognition by management. I would highly recommend this place to others!
Brand new tires mounted and balanced today. Called me to say their ‘diagnostic’ came back with all kinds of other issues. My brother is a mechanic and had just looked at it last week...there’s nothing wrong...purely made up to make more money. Since I picked it up there’s a new rattle that was not there before...no idea what they did or why they were under my hood. I was never told they’d be looking at anything else but my tires. Drove my car two places and noticed shaking. Not balanced right. By tonight one was completely flat. Checked and all 3 others were ridiculously low. My brother looks at it...all 4 valve stems were put in wrong. Downright dangerous. You’re called Savannah TIRE. How can you not know how to properly mount tires?? Will never go here again.
5.30.21. Pooler, GA location. Made an appointment 48hrs in advance for 9am on a Sunday. Door didn’t open until 9:05. When I get to the counter I’m told that there is a long wait, and that my car won’t even pulled back for my service to begin before 10am because they “still have stuff left over to complete from the night before, they’re extremely short staffed (two guys were there) and some staff is late + another customer is in front of me.” Is that normally how things work here? I certainly wouldn’t want my employees telling customers that.
Kimarra is awesome. She is very professional and pleasant. She never disappoints and does whatever she can to make the shopping experience as easy and flawless as possible. I have seen her go above and beyond many times and it makes the experience stand out whenever she is involved.
Had a blow out and is stuck here. Just to change one tire i have to wait hours for them to fix it, cause of other tickets to be done with no costumer waiting cor there vehicle. A 10 minute job and im gonna put u the tire on my self in the parking lot. At least they got good prices on tires
Had my car towed there for two tires and a battery on 6/16/2021. I broke down on my way to work. The lady that spoke with my husband said it would be at least tomorrow before we can look at it because we dont have a mechanic. My husband said ok and we left it. Two days later on the 18th they said they got the tires replaced and aligned, but they couldnt do anything because it was an electrical issues and they dont even have a machine to test it. Anyways I had to pay 95.00 to have it towed to another place after paying 580.00 for 2 tires. The problem was not electrical it was the battery. Dont take you car here they have no idea terrible customer service and lazy.
I was traveling to see family and I needed a tire rotation and balance. I got a great deal on them and staff was friendly. However I was told that I needed new brake pads and new rotors. When in fact, I had them replaced just before the trip. Very sad to see someone lie just to make more money especially in these pandemic times. Wouldn’t recommend.
I have a 2013 Ford 150 XLT. After getting my truck service for a number of years by Ford and Savannah Tire on Foxfire Dr. in Pooler, I never had any issues. Until I went to the one on Pooler Parkway, I saw my Hubcap missing off my Left front driver side tire. I asked about and was met with it was broke and they didnt want to leave it on. Which is B.S. So now I have to go and replace my damn hubcap that someone broke. Make sure you check your vehicle before and after you arrive to ensure nothing is wrong with your vehicle.
If you do business with this facility, make sure you get what your paying for. After calling me and telling me that my tires were finished, I was charged for new value stems and they didnt install them. They also didnt balance the wheels. I had to get them to correct the issue. Which made me late getting on my way. I noticed that the valve stem caps were not on the valve stems so thats why I looked further.
I came to this location like 3 months ago because of a slow leak on one of my tires. The manager advised me they could not find the leak and it was the rim that possibly had a crack. I took the vehicle to a mom and pops shop, they took the tire off the rim, which Savannah tire didnt, and mom and pops found the leak and fixed it for me.. Savannah tire did not take the time to take the tire off.. if your to lazy to take a tire off, I can imagine the labor they have to do on more complicated work orders..Havent been back since..
I was in a pickle. My tires were low and my warning light came on. I stopped in to see if they could help me. Antwan greeted me cheerfully and said pull on up. They were super busy but he took care of me in less than five minutes! I’ll definitely be back when I need new tires. Thank you, Antwan!! You made my week!
The guys are amazing here as I can say with so much confident you will not be dis-appointed with their service. My tire was flat due to hit by a curve i went to them and they checked it for free even it came out that nothing was wrong it my tire. Left store paying $0 i will sure go back you them Thanks again keep up the good work
I went in late on a Sun afternoon with a tire issue. They told me in the beginning that they couldnt fit me in, but after my spare wouldnt work they put 2 new tires on the front for me and worked it into my budget. I cant say enough good things about their customer service at this location. They made sure I left safe and happy.
I had purchased my times from them about six months. However, I noticed I was losing air pressure every two days or so. So, I went back to the store. As it turns out I had a small nail in the center threads of my tire. They took great care of me even though I didnt understand I needed to purchase the warranty and I didnt. They didnt charge me for the fix and still let me add the warranty . I only ended paying because I wanted to add the warranty. But they took great care of me. Love! Love! Love this team !
Short staff on Monday so couldnt replace a tire. Next day dropped it off in morning. Was told I would be called when it was ready. No call. So I called in the afternoon. ...whats the name again response...not in system....made a new order. Late that day still no return call.day 3. Called in again...had me under a different name number .. wow. Different people every day. Finally a new order again. Tire ready after that but price was more than quoted. No discount offered ...nothing. just thanks!!!! $ 128. One tire 3 days later
So I usually go to a different Mavis but I tried this one in passing and I’m so glad I did! The customer service at this place is A1 . Kimarra was such a big help with providing me with everything I need, she explained everything to me and answered every question I had. I will definitely be back again!!!!
Had an appointment at 10am. Came in for a alignment check. Car did not get brought back to check until 12pm and I had to inquire to make that happen. Twenty minutes later I learned they can’t fix the issue I originally came in for but I did need brakes. Seeing as I had been there for two hours at this point I agreed. 4 hours later my car is done. Never coming back to this location again. I recommend going somewhere else.
As a car sales consultant it is more convenient to get my vehicle serviced at my job but the service I get at this location is superior! Fast, professional, honest, clean and affordable!!! Antwan, Chip and the rest of the hard working staff are amazing! Thanks for always keeping me rolling!
Previous customer. Stopped in two days before to make appointment for oil change and tire rotation. Appointment was set for 0800. They even called to confirm the night before. Arrived at opening and at check in was seemingly handled as a walk in. I asked if there was any benefit to making an appointment as it appeared the the people in front of me were going to have their cars handled first in order. Vaguely I was told that I would be seen as soon as possible and appeared they were hoping I was going to leave the vehicle. When my car didnt move for 30 minutes I took the chance to escape prior to it being trapped on a lift for two hours like my last oil change here. Nice people. Would really like to make this the place to go. Probably will come here for tires. But finding new place for oil change. I had a tight schedule and feel that making appointment was a waste of my time.
Savannah Tire / Mavis is home of the 10 min 4 wheel alignment.... Plus forgetting the price match discount before charging my card (conveniently).... Lets talk about the alignment my car was out in a bay for 4 new tires and a 4 wheel alignment. They started at 830am my car was promised at 1030am. He said 90-120 min ... So they finished the tires at 1030am good so far. Now my car sits in the bay until 11:55am they take my car out of the bay. At 12:13 pm my car is pulled up out front. Now thats a fast alignment... And yes my car is pulling still. They were swamped and thought they could cut a few corners clearly..... And Im still waiting on my refund from the wrong price they charged......
I dropped my Ford Explorer off on Thursday 9/3/20 ( Lowes location pooler GA ) to get a warranty claim fixed ( struts ) and was promised it would be done on Friday 9/4/20.. Well Friday afternoon comes , I call to check on the status , and was told the only mechanic that works there was injured , and he wasnt even suppose to be working ( from the employee) . Then I was promised it would be ready on Saturday 9/5/20 when another mechanic would be there .. I said ok thats fine I get . So I call to check the status on the vehicle and at first they couldnt even find my vehicle , after 20 mins on hold , they told me lost my ticket but found it and then told me the same story I was told on Friday, but now they cant get to it until Tuesday 9/8/20.. they will be fixing it because its a warranty claim , but I will not be using them ever again . We have 3 vehicles .. zero stars
I usually dont do reviews unless I am extremely satisfied or extremely dissatisfied. In this case I AM SATISFIED!! I have had the pleasure of visiting this location on serval occasions. The service is fast, which I love because I am not a patient person, and the staff is friendly and personable. On my last visit I had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, Antwan, he was great. I now understand why the location is so well run.
While out of town for a football tourney we woke up to a flat. We called and the staff said to bring it in. We only had a 30 minute window of free time to spare. Arrived at the shop and the staff took us right in. We were in and out in a very short time. Thanks so much for the professionalism and prompt service. Antoine was especially helpful in getting us taken care of. Highly recommend.
This is the worst tire shop Ive ever experienced. They took five hours past my appointment time to change two tires and fix a leak in one tire. They charged me for all the work but didnt even attempt to fix the leak. When I took the car home I noticed the same nail stuck in the tire. I tried them out again as to not judge them off of one experience. I ordered two new rear tires. I called them and they told me they were very busy and to come by in three days to drop off and that they already have a ticket in for me. I went in this morning to drop it off and the guy working the desk said he doesnt have an appointment for me in the system and wont take any walk-ins. Then why tell me to come in this day at this time? Save yourself some time and go to a different tire shop.
Id Leave A 0 Star Review If I Could, I Set A Appointment In Pooler For 9:00AM Have The Email Comfirmtion and they wasted my time and gas. I woke up early drove here on a bad tire risking my health and safety just to be turned away so unprofessional and inconsiderate. Very upset with my experience and will never refer this tire place on pooler parkway
Great service. I needed a tire fixed at the last minute before actually having to head out of town. The staff was very helpful and made sure I was prepared for a safe road trip. This will be my store. If you live in pooler area and need tire services, I recommend this place management and staff great!

Super impressed!! Stopped in right before close on day before Thanksgiving. Antwon took time to come out to my car and see what was wrong with rear lights. Never rushed me or made me think I was keeping him from other customers!! Fixed me all up so I could head home for holiday!! We will be back!! Extremely thankful!!
Took a week to get upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods and a wheel alignment. Had a dead battery when I picked it up. Was told I needed a new battery the day before. It was only 4 months old and did not have any starting issues until pickup. The actual work seems fine and the staff was friendly.
The prices are good, but I wont EVER be coming back to this location. The staff either have a HUGE communication problem or just dont know what their doing.I dropped my vehicle off this morning at 9:15am to get my brake pads replaced after making an appointment for this morning last week. Its now 5:07pm and my vehicle is JUST NOW ready. Every single time I wanted to check on the status of my car, I had to contact them.I called at 12:30pm and my car was just then being inspected. I then called again a couple hours later and Mark told me that my rotors and brake pads need to be replaced in the back but the front were fine. They called me back two hours later and said that they mixed it up and it was actually the front that were in bad shape but that they would get right on it and it shouldnt be more than an hour. I called two and a half hours later and they THEN told me that the rotors are actually completely fine but it will still be another half hour.I go to pick it up and pay and he tells me that its going to be $50 over the price he quoted me (labor included) because they took the liberty of doing a brake flush WITHOUT my permission.ABSOLUTE worst experience ever.
Horrible service. I had an appointment for 1 tire change at 12pm. Dropped the car off at 11:30; was told it be about 2 hours and theyd call when complete. I called at 3pm and it had not yet even been taken to the back for the tire repair. The guy on the phone claimed they were doing 3 hour drop off. I was told 2 hours. Even at 3 hours; it hadnt even been pulled into the bay to begin the work, never again will I use them.
Courteous, affordable, and honest place to take your vehicle! I took my truck in because I thought it needed new brakes. Despite the fact that they could have just thrown some brakes on and charged me for them without me ever knowing the difference, they checked them and told me that I still had about 60% life left on them and they were most likely getting squeaky from humidity and dirt. Really honest folks and they always get me taken care of quickly! I take all of my personal and professional vehicles to them and have never had them miss a timeline of getting things done!
Made an appointment on Wed for the very next day at noon. Get there at 11:45 and they didnt even have my name down for the appointment that I made with them to put on my new tires and alignment. So ok no biggie they said come back in a couple hrs it will be down. So my hubby and I went to Lowes and came back roughly 2hrs later and it was still parked in the same spot. Not even touched. The lady at the counter forgot to put us in the lineup and left our papers on the counter. Plus saying further it will take us about an hour to get to you. Then another hour and a half to do the tires and alignment. What is the point of making an appointment if they arent going to get to it till four hours later. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never again do business with them ever again thats for sure.

2022-04-26I didnt have a way home. I had a flat tire without a tire iron and no one would help me but Mavis . They didnt even charge me for putting my spare on. Im lucky for this. Forever grateful and blessed this place did this for my daughter and I. Having no one to help, but god sent me to the right place. Thank you for your time and help for the sudden scary stuff me and my daughter went through. Learning experience for us both.

2022-01-31The best tire shop! I had a new tire that I got online because they didnt sell it at Costco and the people from Costco refused to change it. So I went to Marvis and they switched my flat tire for the new one in a few minutes like 5 before the closing time. The best people work there.

2022-03-22I definitely would not recommend! I called and made an appointment for my brakes to be done. When I got there at my scheduled appointment time, the first lady said she didn’t see my appointment, so I asked another to look. She found it, then they told me they couldn’t see me until the next day despite having made an appointment then got rude. I didn’t catch their names but I would definitely not recommend.

2022-03-12Very good work done on my little minivan. It actually was closer, was a little quicker, for basically the same price that the instant oil change places offer. All in all, well worth the price that others dont match! I had an oil change done in Pooler/Bloomington area on Pooler Parkway.

2022-07-01I had a tire going bad while traveling to Florida on vacation. I stopped in Mavis Tire in Pooler GA. The manager was booked but said she could hopefully have me out by 5. I purchased two tires and the manager got us out by 4. I was pleased with friendly service and price. Thanks Mavis.

2022-03-03Had a 2:30 appointment scheduled days in advance for an oil change. Sat and waited for nearly two hours, without update. After approaching store manager Amanda she stated work on my car had not even begun as somehow they thought I was not picking it up that day, despite me scheduling an appointment in advance and sitting in the main lobby for two hours clearly within view of her and many employees

2022-05-02I chose to have my services done at this location because I had a great experience on my last visit with a different vehicle. I am so upset with how this one went!! Literally fuming. Scheduled an appointment to drop off for an alignment and oil change at 10 am. Come 2 pm it still hadn’t been put on the machine but the oil change was done. I was told it would take 2-3 hours and was quoted $130-150 for both oil change and alignment. We’ll time flies and I need my car. We’ll bring it back for an alignment. Go to check out & pay for AN OIL CHANGE & the total was $85.24. I said FOR WHAT? Oh well mam oil prices went up. Well mam I wasn’t aware of that or your prices considering what I was quoted yesterday on the phone. I know an alignment will run $70-90 maybe and oil change give or take $20-30. Obviously the oil change was done so what am I to do??? I am very displeased. I can change my own oil. I was trying to make it easier on MYSELF and go ahead and get it done while it’s at the shop. No discounts. No reasoning about my alignment not being done except “well mam we’re short staffed.” I don’t care honestly. Don’t tell me something and not do it. All I wanted was an alignment and all I got was a nearly $90 oil change. Appreciate folks. Won’t be back. Customer service is always number one. Don’t say something and not do it!

2022-04-01I got my oil change done at this Pooler Parkway location. Amanda was Great & so was the service I received! I will recommend Mavis Tire to anyone! Thanks for making my experience Awesome!! I will be back for other services.
