Toco Hills Shopping Center in Atlanta
They have all sorts of stores there restaurants coffee shops Korean steak restaurant fitness parlors salons its clean there was nobody hanging around good place to go shop they got Publix ad they got Krogers there and theyre all well stock and they put it well moving on the registers
Toco Hills has traditionally been the hub of the Jewish community in Atlanta, however new land lords have raised rents and replaced long time tenants such as Bagel Palace with more chains.Joints such as Chriss pizza remain as does the wonderful Top Spice, and there are two grocers. Ducks donuts too is a welcome addition. Most importantly Tall Tales bookstore persists.
It used to be better before the owners performed their recent contemporary upgrades running off several shops including the shoe store and one of Atlantas best French restaurants. Alas, the restaurant continues to thrive in a new location as The Petite Violette at 2948 Clairmont Road.
Toxo Hill has been totally renovated. Very nice renovation too. There are public patios with modern furniture to relax, eat a meal, have some coffee, or just sit and read a book. What a change, it is upscale even. If you havent been to Toxo Hill lately, you havent been.
Ended up in Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center trauma unit after my power wheelchair collapsed trying to get around light pole near Flying Biscuit. Somebody put the large planter on the wrong side of the pole & I had to use the side with a small concrete ramp to go over. My wheel collapsed as I came off ramp. Thank you to all the people who came to help me get the wheelchair off my arm & lay me out flat until ambulance came. There are good people in Atlanta who care about others. I have now been moved out of trauma unit but I am still in ICU due to further injuries from hitting head on concrete step. I would recommend property management move the large vase so people could have unobstructed way to get around light pole.
A place to cherish for the variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and two large grocery stores, Kroger and Publix. Fast food, ice cream shop, delis, sub shop, book store, hardware store, and even a plant nursery with lovely plantings by the parking lot give enjoyment to all in the family. Perhaps a toy shop could be added for the younger ones. The area is upscale and a treat to visit for a meal or a pleasant walk.
Great big clean shopping center! Lots of Kosher options! There are both a Publix AND a Kroger BOTH of which have an extensive kosher center but the best thing of all -- they each have their own KOSHER DELI BUTCHER COUNTER!!!!Also in the realm of all things Kosher theres the specialty store The Spicy Peach.Additionally there are restaurants, a coffee shop, a shipping store and more!
My favorite Publix supermarket is here in Toco Hills!Always, courteous greetings extended when you walk in the door and throughout the store. Ive been fortunate that my products are always available. (They keep.their shelves stocked)Also, AAA Auto Care is here where I have my vehicle serviced! George and Alteese in the Service dept always are friendly, professional and always try to make sure everyone is taken care of in a timely manner.
The Toco Hills Shopping Center is great! The Toco Hills Shopping Center offers both. Publix and Kroger as well as multiple speciality shops including a pet superstore! The location is very accessible with the area supporting a variety of banks, shops and dining establishments... The Toco Hills Shopping Center is well worth the little effort required to visit, shop and dine! Respectfully: Alton K. Edwards
Toco Hill is a good place to shop I went inside Krogers to get a sandwich me and my daughter and they dont make them like they used to over there but at least it let us get Italian bread sweet Italian that is but anyway they dont have everything they normally do at the other stores to put on the sandwich but it was okay I will be going back but not to get a sandwich I dont mind shopping it at Krogers but it aint like it used to be
Iron Age is a new Korean Steak house. You get all the steak you can eat. They bring it to your table and you cook it in the grill installed into your table. They will cook it too. You get (2) meats. We had prawns and steak. Great unique dining experience. No desserts, however. I would recommend they change that! Nice restaurant and great service!
I visited FB for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago around 6pm and it was really good!! Service was pretty good and the food was fantastic! We had the Piedmont Omelette and Chicken and waffles. Delicious. I also ordered a side of biscuits and they were fluffy and hot......hey 6pm Breakfast cant go wrong with that.
I love this area of town because theres so much diversity and things to do the Publix is very nice the Ace Hardware very nice all the little bars and eateries are very nice and dont forget fast frames for your frame needs the only thing that I would say that this area lacks is its a bit pricey but I think that goes with the territory
I was so impressed at how much this shopping center has changed over the years. This was my first visit in several years. They have every type of food you would want from many different countries. There is a very nice Pike Nurseries there also several stores call Toco Hills home along with 2 coffee bars and two major grocery stores also. Its worth checking it out especially if you are looking for new and different types of food. This would be the place to be for variety. Have fun.
Too Hills keeps on changing and is an active center. I seem to enjoy the restaurants more than any other part of the center. Top Spice is my very favorite Thai restaurant and Tazikis is my favorite mediterranean cafe!! Both restaurants are clean and attractive and have very good food and service. And of course take out. Being a strip mall both restaurants are easy to park and get into.
My daughter and I went there yesterday to have lunch and Italian restaurant. She like trying deterrent foods, petty nice and healthy food. Never try it before, but really, really like it. Plus the restaurant was right around the corner from her resident. Ell go back, food was great!^when you in the area, look hem up!Ok!😆😎
Ha! Where to start, where to start!!! The girl who sat us was actually our waitress! So lets begin, we had just arrived in Atlanta and got settled in our hotel! It was my fiances birthday so instead of staying in we decided to grab something to eat and maybe a few drinks since it was a little late and we had just got off the road we didnt feel like doing to much! Anywho, we decided on Chillis since we dont get to eat there much with us not having one in our hometown. So boom, we arrived and we were greeted by the bar tender! The hostess/waitress walked up. First impression was not the best ! Nobody explained that we had to scan a barcode to view the whole menu so I ended up having to ask(no biggie, even though I shouldnt have had to) anyway she brings us our drinks and we order ... our food comes and I cant lie my food was delicious but we did have to send my fiances food back because they were pork ribs and they were just nasty... in between all of this the waitress never asked if we needed anything else, never refilled our drinks and then it took at least another 30 minutes to get my fiances new order out by then we were completely fed up and let the waitress know we just needed the check... YALL,,, THE MANAGER STUCK HIS HEAD OUT FROM THE KITCHEN AND WENT BACK IN... NEVER CAME TO ASK AND CHECK TO SEE WHAT REALLY MAY HAVE HAPPENED!!!! IT WAS ALL BAD I WOULDNT TAKE MY WORST ENEMY TO THIS PLACE... OH AND THE WAITRESS WAS DEFINITELY NOT PROFESSIONAL LOOKING AND I COULD SENSE HER VIBE OF NOT WANTING TO BE AT WORK !! SUCH A SHAME!
This shopping center is huge! From Kroger to Publix and all the places to eat in between, you could do a one stop shop in this shopping center and be broke. Within the past 4 years, it has undergone a huge transformation to be way nicer looking and attract higher level shops and restaurants in exchange.
Good shopping center lots of variety of stores, restaurants and shops. especially check out westside market. great for de or or gifts extra. high recommend this dhopping center to eat, get groceries or shop for home or gifts. extra they e en have a ace hardware store.
This is the new and improved Toco Hills. This shopping center is unique because it is anchored by both a Kroger and a Publix. This shopping center is very newly renovated which has attracted some more modern and trendy establishments. As well as a few fast food eateries, there are a few sit down and dine establishments. Its worth a look if youre in the area.
My great aunt and I went. It was her first time but I have been many times for years. This time we happen to go on a Sunday. Madness. We finally got seated and waited about 10 min before beautiful Kenya appeared and ask if we were ok. We werent even her customers but for the rest of the time she made sure we were ok. Homegirl was on top of it. Will ask for her next time I come so she can be our waitress . 😘😘😘 its service like hers that make you frequent a place.
I was their on a holiday so not many people were out and some stores were close. I have shop their in the past and I give it 4 stars because of the variety of stores it has fast food, speciality cuisine restaurants, a supermarkets, radio shack, a shoe store and the department of labor to name a few spots. So that makes it as good place my only gripe is the parking. The area for parking is small but it is free. The cramp space makes maneuver difficult but besides that its a nice shopping plaza.
Its gone through a facelift recently and the parking is more organized. There are several fine places to eat, from Goldberg to Palace bagels which are quite wonderful and authentic, Top Spice, a nice space for Malaysian food, and two independent coffee shops. Add to this an excellent package store with great selection of liquor, beer and wine from everywhere. Then you can find two grocery stores, a hardware store, tennis store, and a UPS store among many others.
This shopping center has a little bit of everything you need. A Pike Nursery, two grocery stores, a well-stocked and friendly Ace Hardware, an office supply store, several great restaurants, and a well-stocked, clean liquor store with knowledgeable staff. The whole center is undergoing a nice face lift, too.
Toco Hill is a very comfortable, close by customer friendly experience that we visit several times a week. Easy to get in and out. And its getting better and better as one of the two developers continues to upgrade and fine tune his part of the shopping center. Atlanta Coffee Roasters is a great Toco Hill port-of-call. Highly recommended!
Its much better now that they renovated the entire parking lot. Overall, its got a decent collection of shops and restaurants. The Publix, Kroger, and Pet Supermarket make it a good grocery spot if you live nearby. As for restaurants, I personally enjoy La Parilla, Top Spice, and Sushi Matsuya.Places tend to pop up and then disappear months later though. So dont be surprised if your favorite new shop is gone after a while.
Yes, very good location with outstanding retailers. But, know one thought of the need for the handicaps. I went to Ace hardware, only two handicap signs one on each end of the row near Ace. The entire lot does not have enough handicap signs. Please look into this matter.
The parking lot and traffic around this shopping center is extremely treacherous and busy. The Kroger and Publix are pretty good here. Lots restaurants. Top nail is one of the best in the city. Toco Giant liquor store has just about everything including items like Germain Robin Brandy. The La Pareila Mexican is good quality and has good drinks too. The Thai is very good. There is a Chipotle. Oh and Tall Tales book store near the Kroger is a little jewel box. Plus you have lots of other food options Outback, poke bowl place, chopt salad place.... And then a Pikes nursery too....most errands can be accomplished here.
A Kosher Kroger! What more can I say. The Spicey Peach, a bookstore, a Publix, a nursery, oops! What is with yet another coffee shop?? The outdoor added seating during this center redo has attracted a few. Indian, Thai, Latin American, Mediterranean,...waiting for a new great eatery amongst the diversity. You can, however, take home a great bottle of wine at the local package store.
Its a large shopping center. It has many nice things but they jacked the rents up and drove almost all of the original businesses out of the shopping center. Parking lot is not great. They have tons of spaces but the area in front of Publix/Ace and all those businesses is pretty limited especially during peak times. Toco Giant is one of the best package stores in all of Atlanta and luckily it is still there. Spiller Park coffee has really good coffee but youll need a 2nd mortgage to go there with any frequency and Atlanta Coffee Roasters around the corner also has great coffee for a much more reasonable price, but minus the pretentiousness or cool-factor. I hear. They are throwing a Hudson Grill in where the Famous Pub used to be...so that will be great, I guess....
Went to mothers day dinner with family and it was great, a great time at a place called TopSpice and had a great meal of spicy chicken and rice...was suggested by my sister due to the spicy Thai tendencies. So, she was looking out for me and it was probably the best move if youre not a true Thai fan. Bonjour and adieu
I was at self check out counter and double charged accidentally. I called worker for void and she yelled at me ”6feet!” I was wearing mask, but I stepped back. Then white man who was using next my machine and asked same thing. She didnt say anything to him and operated just beside him. Not even 1feet, just side by side. I felt very uncomfortable, even I felt she treated me that way, because Im Asian. Treat customers equally.
This is an interesting shopping center because its big and has many unique businesses. I would called it pocketed because it has areas of shops that go well together, and depending on where you are it feels like different shopping centers. Theres a Kroger side and a Publix side. This is a good shopping center if you want to be waxed and shined. Theres a tanning salon, a waxing business and two nail salons in the same small area near Publix. After some type of service you can then go into the bagel shop for a coffee, wander into Publix for cheese samples, visit the pool store to learn new things about pool chemicals, and onto the hardware store to buy a fancy looking key with colorful stripes on it. There you go...a mini vacation for cheap without walking very far. If you need a different type of vacation go to the other end, tour Pikes plant nursery and then browse the bookstore. Try Brusters ice cream and remember you are far away from the other side of the complex. If you drive/walk across the street, there are quite a few massage businesses, natural food stores and holistic health services in this area along North Druid Hills Road. Also near the Steakn Shake is a great vitamin store, they have everything, even things that are hard to find and have to be kept refrigerated.Sometimes people just need a place to park and catch up on texting- this is not really a parking lot with shady trees, or much shade at all. If youre thinking about driving around the back of the shopping center buildings to look for shade or to avoid parking lot traffic, I wouldnt recommend it. Its busy back there, loading docks with a narrow bumpy road and construction scraps near multiple dumpsters. This is a work area.Something to keep in mind if youre driving at night is Atlantas growth- lots of large machines are grinding everything organic into tiny bits, so animals are learning to live closer to urban areas. Ive had a coyote and a huge buck (male deer) run in front of the car in this area around 4am. Just drive carefully, dont speed, and pay attention. If youre sleepy at 4am then the Dunkin Donuts (they have wi-fi) and Steakn Shake are both open 24 hours. Also the CVS is open 24 hours here so its a good night time cluster.
What can I say from the excellent Bagel Palace to the kosher Kroger we all love Toco Hills but I do miss the good old sports bar famous pub its been there for years even though I dont drink its a cool place to shoot pool and theyve got a great burger I will always miss that place otherwise its the best wheel of Toco Hills
Very good. It has a Publix and a Kroger, a few restaurants and shops (Top Spice and Tazikis are my favorites). Plenty of parking and it is on the number 8 bus line. There is SunTrust bank and a Chase bank and Wells Fargo atm. There are additional banks in the grocery stores. There is also a bookstore, Pikes nursery, AAA auto care, and the Georgia Dept of Labor. My only problem is there is no longer a laundromat.
Palm beach tan is the best,Publix has good food, there’s a awesome little frozen yogurt place and a quaint little jimmy johns readily available.Theres also a nail salon a boutique that appeared to have some cute pieces in the window and an antique shop, cool little place to kill time.
Love Tk the bartender- Male managers are nice...very dirty... Wait staff not nice and tired of having to ask for a clean table... To GET food altogether... They never have my order write... I stopped coming because I dont like the service and I can only sit at bar when I dont have my kids
This is probably my favorite shopping center.Home toTazikis..4/5Masti..5/5LaParrilla..4/5Chopt..5/5SpillerParkCoffee..5/5Local Pizzaiolo..5/5Publix..5/5and a Liquor store 5/5 called Toco Gaint. These were my personal ratings based on the quality of food/ friendliness of the staff. This is an emerging shopping center in Toco Hills .

2022-07-20I love swinging by the Toco Hills Shopping center. They did a revamp of the exterior to make it look more modern. There are tons of restaurants (mainly casual dining spots) plus a Kroger and Publix.

2022-05-21All you can eat Korean BBQ... Yum! $29.95... dont go here unless youre hungry because they will keep the food coming and coming! I loved the little stick rice stick things. They were so damn good. Lawd hammercy! The sake was strong. The only down side is that its super loud in the restaurant from the music. Otherwise, a good time.

2022-08-07Toco Hills has everything you need. During the summer they have a splash fountain and I will take my daughter just to play in the water. You will find great restaurants and stores. A great place to work, shop, and dine.

2021-05-09The newly revamped shopping center is a must visit for those in the area and out. The Pikes is large with all of the best quality plants and more. Spiller Park Coffee, Pao Pao Ramen, The Flying Biscuit, Kale Me Crazy, Indian chaat, Chipotle, and even Westside Market are all outstanding additions. Some of the old favorites are gone but the options are endless for food. Spiller Park is a must.

2022-09-13Has a bit of everything. Also a very strong Jewish population in the area so you can find a lot of kosher goods.

2020-09-07This shopping center is really blossoming. We have lived in the area for about 4 years, and wanted to stay in the area when we had a chance to move mainly due to how nice the community is, and how great this little shopping center is. Grateful for all the awesome restaurants, our really nice Publix, and the new little grass area and kid splash fountain is so nice. It really makes it feel like home and its fun to shop there every time.
