This gym is awesome. Everyone is friendly, the staff always tells you hello and goodbye everytime you come and go. If you need help to get yourself back in shape and to lose weight, well they have people there to help you succeed your goal in that field. I would recommend this gym to everyone.
Cool gym in Albany for athletes and people who love to train with free weights! There is a women side for women who want more privacy! They have a schedule of many classes for members to choose from. They also offer personal training and nutritional advice. I love their shakes! The Elvis is my go to burner protein shake. Theres cardio machines, free weights, cable/ resistance machines and if youre not sure how to use them an employee will show you.
Wouldnt allow me to use the guest pass because I was from Florida. You have to be a resident of Albany,GA to use the guest pass. So if you are visiting from out-of town for holidays you be out of luck🤨

I really hope they dont get rid of free weights! I love coming here and doing squats, bench presses, and deadlifts with barbells and dumbbells.Thank you to staff and members for keeping the place somewhere that I want to work out in.
Started at Tonys in 1978. This is an awesome place to work out. The atmosphere is great and staff is friendly and helpful. The price is very responsible plus they have everything you need to get in shape. Thanks Tony Powell.

The staff here is amazing and the equipment is always kept in good shape and kept clean. Working out here is pressure free and the others people are very focused. Good environment and great variety of equipment.
I love this gym, they have everything you need, from sauna to cycling classes, lots of weights and a variety of machines to use, good price, I’ve been a member for about a year and a half and I go at least 3 times a week

I really enjoy working out here. No one bothers you, theres plenty of equipment, and its always clean.
Maybe for brain washed Albanians this is a decent gym, but for someone who actually went to college and has been out of the state of GA it’s a joke. Anyone whose over 25 and makes a career at a gym is a absolute failure in my opinion. I mean you do know gyms are for kids and teens right? You can’t retire without benefits haha. Steve I think is a weak power hungry guy, but outside of his work I bet he is all talk. Good luck talking to Steve he’s like a squirrel. And Shane marker selling steroids up there since 2016 is something you should seriously look into. Another complete failure if you asked me. And a coke head. The employees are the biggest joke ever. You aren’t educated, successfull, or a grown man if you work at a “gym” over the age of 30, quite the contrary. Your a joke.

I go for silver sneakers and chair yoga and to use the machines. Dena is very fun and knows her stuff. I enjoy the classes.
Outdated equipment, but a lot of it. Gets extremely busy during peak hours and its patrons are rude to say the least. Staff has always been nothing but courteous and the pricing is very cheap.
I Wish I Could Give This Place Zero Stars! Very Unprofessional And Prejudice To African American Members. Does Not Respect Our Rights & Our Space. Would NOT Recommend This Gym To Anyone.

Its a good facility, but be aware, if you dont want to be a member, they will hassle you until you go up there face to face to cancel.
Stole my money, even though I had canceled my account was turned over to the collection agency. No attempts to ask for payments were made before the turn over.
The staff is awesome, I never have to wait for cardio equipment. The hours are great.

2022-06-05Gym is clean and organized. Staffs are generally friendly and also the gym-goers. There are sanitizing stuff for equipment almost everywhere(which is important to me!). The only thing is that some if not most of the equipments are old, though maybe it adds to the authenticity of the place.

I love the classes . I love the spinning class I burn up to 900 calories in 1 hour. Join this gym you going to love it .

2020-07-10Ive yet to find a gym thats as great as Tonys. The atmosphere is great, the staff is GREAT, plenty of choices of machines and multiple free weight areas. Its always easy to find something to work out on, no matter how busy it is. Its not an intimidating gym. The people that work out there are courteous, and they are usually minding their own work outs. I like to think of it as a judgement free gym-everyone is there with the same common goal. And to top it all off, they have a beverage bar, so you can get a pre-work out, and a protein shake after!!

2020-11-09The Tonys Gym facility is a great location that does take part in good customer service. The workout equipment available is endless for all forms of exercise needs. The attitude is great and gets a 4 star for the equipments age but all still in great working condition.

2020-07-28Tonys is more than just a gym or fitness center.... Tonys is like family. One of the most well equiped facilities in the USA. Each piece is hand selected. Pieces from every major equipment line in the fitness industry. Wonderful staff! Extremely clean and spacious. Great prices! And Tonys door is always open to members! 38 years of greatness! Lots of history amongst the members! No better place!
