I had lunch at Toscano Ristorante Italiano recently. The Toscano Salad was delicious, it was well proportioned and super tasty. I also had an chance to try their Tuscan Flatbread sandwich and the Italian sandwich, both yummy! Loved the vibe of the place, very elegant and laid back.
Not impressed at all. The food was okay, not much flavor. The portion was good, but the fact that I only ate a few bites says enough about the taste, and definitely not worth the price. The waitress was attentive, but just like the rest of the staff, she was not wearing a mask. She was very animated and very loud, so when she was shredding some cheese onto my dish, it seemed like she was breathing all over it. Not very appetizing or sanitary during a pandemic..There were also two flies inside the restaurant that kept buzzing past our food. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
I went today for lunch. First off everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the chicken Marsala. It was really good, however, my only complaint is the chicken is sliced thinly and you only get two pieces and they are not that big. I just think for the price it should be a little more/bigger. It comes with mashed potatoes and spinach. All seasoned very well, I would definitely come back.
My daughter and I decided to dine at Toscano in Atlantic Station tonight. It was one of the worst experiences. There were opportunities after opportunities to make it right. Our salad had no balsamic vinegar. The food that was served was not what my daughter ordered. The food was mediocre to say the least. We decided to pack our experiences in a to go box. I can only imagine if the place was slightly packed.
I will go back for sure. Food is great, but Ill be back for the bar experience alone. Drinks are phenomenal if Dan (bartender) is working & his mixology skills shows. Hes easy going & yet amazing at what he does. Service is great across the board & I will say, worth every cent because they really have a great establishment.
John, Dan, and Fran makes this place feel like home. The food is so authentic and absolutely delicious every single time. The owner even came by to say hello. If you’re in the midtown area this is a must stop. The best place in Atlantic station hands down. GET THERE AS FAST AS YOU CAN
Its a no for me. Food was incredibly bland. Definitely overpriced for the quality. Also they need to use coasters under the glasses if they expect people to use the same glasses that have been rim down on the table (even those outside). Yuck. Two stars for the convenient location and decent service.I wouldnt visit again.
Literally all I ordered was a Caesar salad. I asked for anchovies, assuming that the salad had the optional choice of anchovies as almost every Italian Restaurant does. I was charged $8.00 for adding anchovies to a $9.75 salad making my total nearly $20. That is a complete scam and the waiter made no attempt at mentioning I would be charged an extreme price for adding anchovies. The salad was quite good, I just feel used.
We decided to make reservations after watching a review on Atlanta Eats. We were not impressed. I had the Chicken Picatta and my husband had the Chicken Marsala His food was barely warm and mine was cold and the chicken very tough, the capers and lemon sauce we actually very cold. The salads were very nice, we had great service. The entrees and ambience definitely was not what we expected.
It was a slow Thursday night, and yet my party of 5 was often left unattended for long stretches of time. While we were served promptly enough, the temperature of our dishes were an odd mix of steaming and barely room temp. For example, the calamari was beautifully styled, but limp and not at all crispy. The arancni sauce was steaming but the actual balls werent even close to warm. Kudos to the bartender for making my favorite cocktail, I wouldve had another if I couldve found my server. 4/10, cant see a reason to return.
Wow I love Italian food and for me to come here thinking imma get the same results as olive garden I was wrong 1st time here I was so exited I order a lasagna my husband some spaghetti with chicken soon is I saw the plate I knew it didnt look right at all no seasoning my lasagna look more like soup the sauce taste like it come from a can we paid $ 60 dollars they need better cooks they dont know how to cook Italian food not recommended at all ....
Looking for Italian cuisine this is the spot! Great place, amazing service in Atlantic station. We came with my daughter a week ago and we were gently greeted by a gentleman named Mario that I believe was the manager as well. He sat us at the upper area by the window as he suggested it was a popular spot, afterwards our server was pretty fast to greet us once seated I believe his name was Byron or so but he said he was from Colombia, he brought us some fresh soft and warm bread to start of which was a great treat the restaurant provides, he was so sweet and helpful with our dietary restrictions and his recommendations about the food were accurate. I cannot eat pork so we went for the Spicy chicken pasta as he suggested it and my daughter went for the Pomadoro spaghetti, both dishes were so good and rich of flavor, the dishes were pretty big so we had to take some home, I ordered the peach sangria which was delicious (definitely coming back for another one) and my daughter got the hunny pot also a delightful drink I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to try either one.Toscano we will be returning for some more deliciousness. The one thing I would say they should have a daily special and more seafood dishes, the ambiance was a bit off as well I didn’t see much details outside of some abstract paintings. But everything else was great.
My cousin and I were in the Atlantic Station area and wanted to eat a great meal....we were famished. Weve been wanting to try out this location but once our movie finished...the restaurant was closed. So today was the day to go. I had made a reservation online but there was no need for that ...the evening we went was less congested. Plenty of table available. Our server(whose name I forgot) was wonderful! Gave us great recommendations and our meals were delicious! We were relieved to see a basket of fresh bread with olive oil arrive at our table. Our hunger was REAL! We ordered a caprese salad as well. Perfection. My cousin had a penne a la vodka with chicken. Yum. Yum. I had a stuffed ravioli with cheese and spinach with a side of steak. I was in HEAVEN. I left so full I could barely move or breathe. My cousin took her left overs home a.k.a I ate them for lunch the next day. Lol. The food was freshly prepared with fine ingredients. The taste said it all. Cant wait to return. I loved the ambiance...looks super fancy but its elegant, welcoming and spacious. Thank you.P.s. I found my receipt...our servers name is Brock S. Id highly recommend him. Very funny and helpful. Knows his stuff. Thnx.
Lackluster service. The place was nearly empty but we didn’t feel very welcomed by the host or the server who barely spoke to us and was inaudibly quiet when she did.The pizza was chewy like something from a school cafeteria. The pasta was alright but just seemed to be doused in cream sauce - no finesse or craftsmanship. Finally, gratuity was included on the bill which seemed very unusual for a party of 2 especially given the quality of service and the lack of activity in the restaurant.
Food is phenomenal! The portions are easily enough for two meals. The service is very fast and attentive (shout out to Brock).Edit: not sure if management changed, but the most recent time Ive come the food wasnt hot and didnt taste great. Also, had to remove a star because they took my favorite dish off the menu-the carbonara ☹. Will not be coming back for overpriced italian again
No silverware until way after we got our entrees and we had asked multiple times. I ordered ravioli with blackened chicken and it came out seasonless and the ravioli cheese frozen. The lasagna was something I couldve bought at Publix. What wouldve been a $76 dollar meal for two honestly shouldve been $40.
The service was awful. The waitress took about 15 minutes to even offer us water. She came and poured water and then walked away. Came back, took drink orders, took 30 minutes for me to get my glass of wine and then my husband’s drink didn’t come until we were halfway through our meal (AND it was wrong!). The meal was terrible. My 8 year old hated his spaghetti and meatballs, how is that even possible? It looked like they have an industrial sized chef boyardee sauce can in the back. I ordered muscles, hearty portion, but under cooked and not seasoned AT all as described on the menu. They do not use ANY salt at all to season their food and have a nerve to not put salt and pepper on the tables. 🙄 the brussel sprouts were supposed to have bacon, not so much. Won’t be returning. And I better not be over charged on my card like the other one star reviews imply.I forgot to mention that the salad was awesome…but it’s hard to screw that up.
Stopped by for lunch today and tried the spiced chicken penne and lasagna. Both were very delicious and large portions! Service was fantastic as was the complimentary bread. Convenient 2 hour free parking in the Atlantic Station garage. Will definitely be back to try other menu items!
We came in for some dinner tonight and it was great. Only thing that hit me when we walked in was the smell of fish but in a little bad way. The one server that was serving us kept forgetting what we ordered and looked like he was intoxicated or high. When we first sat down it took about 10 min to get our wine that we first ordered. The calamari was good with the squid. The shrimp had half of the tails still on it when I added it to the pasta and wasn’t expecting that. Mens restroom urinals is missing the divider which doesn’t give privacy. Host was nice and greeted us when we first walked in.
Our immediate impression was poor as the hostess with (the one with Very short hair) was quite rude to us scoffing and rolling her eyes multiple times. However, the food was very good I got the penne vodka, very garlicy and creamy. I recommend giving the hostess a lesson in customer service as she is the face of the restaurant and despite quality food, can have a negative impact on a customers experience.
My roommate and I ate here after a very long day. The waitstaff were accommodating and kind in a manner that neither of us have ever experienced in all of our time eating out - that alone gave us energy. Then of course, is the food. We had a pair of simple pasta dishes, carbonara and penne alla vodka. The portions were massive and we both agreed easily some of (if not the) best pasta dishes we had ever had. Leftovers reheated were just as fantastic. The prices are very fair. Eat here for a great experience, and please be sure to tip your waitress.
Ive never had worse Italian food in MY LIFE! Absolutely no taste in any of their food whatsoever...no seasoning either. I ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs and it was extraordinary disgusting. These people had THE NERVE to slap tomato paste on top of half-cooked spaghetti noodles, and insert mushy meatballs into the dish & call it an authentic entree? Giving me very much revolting garbage 🚮. Dont even waste your time, energy, or money at this false-advertised establishment. Im being generous by even naming it that, given all the employees attitudes. At least Im able to view these people creating such vile dishes. Ugh...$18 and 2 hours that Ill never get back.
Very meh. If you’re in Atlantic Station there are better places. If you’re not in Atlantic Station, don’t bother. The food was very bland and seems almost pre packaged. I personally had the chicken piccata and the Chicken looked as if it had been boiled, it was gray. Chicken piccata you should be browning the meat and then transferring into the lemon butter sauce not cooking it in the sauce. Mash potatoes seemed almost like instant potato’s. Wife had pasta and it too was very bland with some red pepper flakes thrown on top. The presentation of the food was just awful. The food itself was meh. Thus 2 stars. I could have gone to Maggianos and had better food for as much or less.Service was good. So there’s that.
Our daughter came in from LA for a visit and we met several people for dinner. First thing. My husband ordered coffee. Once he finally got it, he asked for cream, but ended up drinking black coffe because they never brought it( and the restaurant was not busy).Usually when I have eaten an authentic Italian restaurant, complimentary bread and oil are served before the meal-not here! The main entres were broughtout to everyone-except mine. I finally got someones attention and ask about it. It was basic spaghetti and meatballs-i think they just forgot to make it. It finally came. I was from waiting.I have had better spaghetti at Olive Garden! Very disappointing...
Was able to pop in for a late lunch today and I was not disappointed at all! The restaurant is lovely and everyone was very friendly. Shout out to Megan, our bartender, and Irvin, the GM, for being so welcoming. I had the Arancini appetizer(rice balls with beef and mozzarella inside) and the Chicken Picatta w/spinach. Both were excellent and very flavorful! My friend enjoyed a tasty calamari appetizer (enough for two people!!) and an awesome serving of Spicy Chicken penne which she washed down with a Lemon Drop with whisky. All in all, we were thoroughly impressed and very pleased with the quality of the food. What a terrific addition to Atlantic Station!!! I will definitely be back!!!
The entire ristorante smelled like old seafood. My chicken parm panini was closer to a chicken nugget sub with mozzarella from subway, and for some reason it also tasted like the same seafood smell. I guess the corona on tap was nice, or at least it was gonna be but the bar tender left the frosty glass out on the bar until it was room temp then poured the beer. Cherry on top the bar tender forgot my side AND then overcharged me. Want to use apple pay? Be prepared to walk behind the bar while literally all the other staff watches you since the restaurant is totally empty. no wonder why. God what a terrible experience.
I have been so excited about having a good Italian restaurant nearby and was not disappointed! While I do miss Meehans Irish Pub, I’m so happy with what replaced it. I had the spicy chicken penne and an Aperol Spritz and both were delicious! Service was great and I love what they’ve done with the interior. We’ll be coming here often for sure.
I came in lastnight . My server i believe her name is Ana , sweet girl ! It was my first time eating at this place . She made everything delightful. I enjoy every second in there . I will be coming back more often ! I’m bringing my whole family in there as well . Amazing team !! 100%recomendable! This is my new favorite place !
I went with a friend to catch up. Enjoyed our meals. I decided to pay the bill and she would leave the tip cash. I wrote it in on the receipt for the tip line “on table”. They still took 20% tip off my card in addition to the cash. TERRIBLE MISUSE OF MY CARD. Do not trust them. Pay cash if you go.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. DEFINITELY WILL BECOMING BACK!! THE FACT THAT THERE ARE SPANISH SERVERS MAKE IT EVEN 10X BETTER. FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SPANISH SPEAKING PARENTS ITS HARD SOMETIMES TRYING TO HELP THEM DECIDE WHAT THEY WANT BUT WAITRESS ANA REALLY HELPED TRANSLATING THE MENU TO MY FOLKS. THANK YOU!!!! VERY ATTENTIVE AND CHEERFUL PERSON. TOTALLY MADE MY EXPERIENCE 1000000X BETTER. FOOD WAS AMAZING. TRY THE LASAGNA YOU GUYS IT WILL HAVE YOU SLURPIN EVERY PIECE OF IT🥵🤤🤤 RIQUISIMO!! GRACIAS!!

2022-03-30We were seated immediately for a party of 9 which was great since we had plans fall through at another restaurant. Our waiter was great and efficient. The food was good and seasoned well. I will definitely be back for the margarita pizza I loved the amount of cheese that was on the pizza.

2022-03-28Came here 3.27.22Brock was a great server. So my 3 star is not because of him... He was great..Their bathroom is very clean which is always a plus when I go out.. Food is good but nothing to ride home about.. Spaghetti could definitely use some seasoning. Literally lacked taste... The flatbread pizza I had was good but chicken a tad bit dry. I will say the lasagna was tasty. Had flavor in it.. Overall service was really good...

2022-03-03Im a 2x customer so far, and every time I finish watching a movie at Regal Cinema, I walk to have lunch or dinner at their establishment. Great authentic Italian cuisine, and grateful they are in the Atlantic Station. Plus I love the customer service, besides the great food and drinks. I will be visiting again!

2022-05-06Went to Atlantic Station for 5/5/22 but all the Mexican restaurants were soooooooooo crowded. We decided to try this cute lil Italian ristorante. Here it goes ... Our waitress Aureanna was very pleasant and timely. The bread with seasoned oil was not warm and the oil only had black pepper in it. No oregano, garlic, basil, thyme, garlic.. nothing but oil and pepper.😒 I ordered 10 wings and calamari. I am not sure how eight wings are cooked to be eatable but two were burned? The margarita looked so pretty but was lacking on the alcohol. It tasted like flavored water. The calamari was ok but the body part of the lil squid was not cooked through. I enjoyed the scenery from the patio dining a d we were given a discount off our bill for the scorched wings but its highly unlikely we will eat there again.

2022-06-02I went dinner here with my mother and bought my father a meal to go. When we got home the food was horribly burnt. The next day we asked for a refund considering that the Calzone was $17 and my bill overall was over $100. The next day we came back with the food and the pictures you see below. The manager was very rude and nonchalant about the condition of the food and refused to give us a refund. Instead we ordered another meal from the menu. The replacement meal was then undercooked and Inedible.I would advice everyone to stay away from this place. This place is going down quick, don’t waste your money.

2021-10-22Fair at best… Toscano is the creation of chefs Gianni Betti and Linda Harrell who also own Cibo e Beve in Sandy Springs. I have not been their sister restaurant, but this location was lack luster.I was first a little shocked to find that no Covid protocol was in place; not one staff member had on a mask. The interior was sparsely decorated and open with basic furnishings. We were served by the bartender even though we were seated in the dining room.Overall, the service, food, wine and overall experience was just flat. The salad was fresh, the entree lacked seasoning (and small portion of veal)and the desert (mini cannolis) were dry and almost non existent.
