It’s a complicated time in the pandemic. 141 has put forth many efforts to make you feel safe and enable you to enjoy a meal out of the house. The selection of drinks was vast and a bartender who can make whatever you might want. The menu may appear limited but there are so many amazing dishes. They do a great job catering to you. We wanted to split dishes so they served who wanted what to each individual, nice touch. The flavors of the food were all great, well prepared and nice presentation. We had Cesar salad, caprese salad, artichoke appetizer and grouper entree. Great experience all around here.
The person at the door was weird we felt like they did not want us there. they asked if we had a reservation and we said no and turned us away then a young couple came in and she asked them if they had a reservation they said no but she told them she would get them a seat. We only had four so i am not sure why we were turned away. We will never go back it was insulting. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
Trattoria One 41 is an excellent restaurant, bar none. Food was great, freshly made, and was very tasty, and authentic Italian. The Spaghettini & Lasagna were two dishes tried, and *AWESOME* The bread was freshly made with fresh tomato sauce with ricotta cheese mix and just a great appetizer to the meal. The server, he was 5 star service, couldnt have asked for better. This is how service & food should be, a must visit!
Our waitress Debi was fantastic, and so was the food. But I was pretty frustrated, since we walked in at the same time as someone who didnt have a reservation (we did) and they were seated and served first. They answered the phone at the table and were talking business loudly enough to where my partner and I couldnt have a conversation.
My husband had the Filet mignon, lobster tail and risotto. The filet was cooked to perfection, but the 6 oz lobster (before cooked) includes the shell, so a really tiny piece of lobster meat was hidding under the shell when dinner was served. Very disapointing. I had the lamb chops. Cooked perfectly although the sauce was too sour, a little too much wine vinegar for my taste. It did not go well with the meat nor the side dish. The service was amazing though.
Our first visit. We had a very nice dinning experience. Our server was attentive, detail oriented and provided good suggestions. The suppli was good. My cannoli with braised beef and a bit of gorgonzola was excellent - and was great a bit bit of lunch the following day. My wifes scallops over mushroom risotto was very tasty. The finish with a chocolate flourless cake and vanilla gelato was a perfect ending. Looking forward to next time.
Purchased a $100 gift card on June 1st for my parents anniversary dinner. I assumed it would be electronic or something when it took me to PayPal. Turns out you have to wait for the manager to get off his butt to mail it to you. Called multiple times but seems like manager was never around. He did include the date he made the gift card, June 21st. So took me 22 days from the day I purchased to the day I received it. Terrible service.
We celebrated my wifes birthday for dinner here and it was absolutely perfect! Service, food, and vibe was amazing! I recommend their grilled artichoke appetizer and mascaparone cheesecake. Their pasta was good too but well have to come back and try their other entrees!
I was super excited to eat this dish. It had been 4 years since I had been here, however was disappointed Cape Sante came out presented so beautifully. But deceived me with a hump in the middle of the bowl. (The bowl was made that way) To make it look there was more risotto than there actually was!!! Like whattttt who does that?
We are Johns Creek residents and have frequented one41 multiple occasions, but its been several years since our last visit. Yesterday, we invited my brother and sister in-law and had a fantastic time. The food was always memorable, but last night it seemed to be the best ever! I had the deliciously sweet scallops and mushroom risotto, hubby had the Halibut, and the in-laws shared the cannelloni. All had a bowl of the most delicious cream of mushroom soup and we shared the salsiccia (italian sausage app). AMAZING! The only negative was my drink, Velvet Underground. It was very sweet and didnt taste like a true cocktail. No worries though, ordered the Pino Grigio and Pino Noir and all was good. If you havent been to one41 or its been awhile, GO! You wont be disappointed. Also our server, Hugo/Herbert was excellent!!
The food here was incredible. Pasta tasted extremely fresh, the bread was freshly baked, and everything had great natural flavors. The tomato based sauces here are amazing! The restaurant is very nice inside and the service was impeccable. Definitely will be back soon!
This place is exceptional! The mussels (appetizer) were amazing, the pasta and the lamb chops were delicious and the marscapone cheesecake was probably the best dessert I have ever had. The service was friendly and attentive. I will absolutely be back. One of the best Italian restaurants that I have eaten at outside of Italy.
Wonderful - Great Food, Service & Ambiance - Perfect Date Night! We really enjoyed dining here recently. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We ordered the Suppli (Crispy Porcini Risotto Fritters served with truffle honey), The Rucola (Arugula salad with, grilled mushrooms, fried polenta tossed in a delicious lemon dressing) and Gnocchi (potato Dumplings with a four cheese ‘alfredo’ and topped with toasted bread crumbs). We told the server that we wanted to share everything so she brought it out course by course all well portioned out into two servings.Their wine was good too.The service was excellent. We happened to go on a night when there was a large group of people dining together. We were a little disappointed since we wanted to have a quiet dinner and they were a little noisy. So we asked if they could seat us away from the large group, and they were happy to change our table. It was perfect for date night! We would definitely go back!
The service was impeccable and timely, and the food was fabulous. Grilled artichokes, linguine and clams, followed by the grouper/risotto special. And finished with the Italian style cheesecake.Couldnt have asked for better. Nothing short of 5 stars for me. Cant wait to go back.
Very very good food and wine.Cocktails need much improvement as they were lacking taste, lacking higher quality choices of spirits (only had the mainstream stuff), and they were overloaded with ice. A couple of simple small changes can fix this overnight.I highly recommend this place for the food and wine, since they did have solid choices of upper end red wines.
Best italian in and around Atlanta. The sauce is the best I have ever had!! You have to try the meatballs, if not for your dinner get meatballs for an appetizer. Also, the artichokes are one of the best apps too. If you are super hungry, get the veal parmesan. It is as big as a dinner plate and delicious. I dont care that it is all the way in Johns Creek, worth every second of the drive!!!
A true Alpharetta gem. We miss the bar with its cozy feel very much, but the new patio makes up for it. One41 managed to give a parking lot an almost upscale feel, with white clothed tables and their as always fabulous food. The bread service with tomato is addictive, and while the Lasagne is some of the best in Atlanta metro, the meat and fish dishes are the dishes to go for. Dont miss out on the great wines. If you feel you need a treat, One41 is the place to go.
This is the finest restaurant in my area. They have a bone-in veal Parmesan that is incredible. Last night I dined out for the first time in the post lockdown era. My date and I had the special which was a crispy sea bass served over risotto and it was amazing. I wish they would drop the masks as no two were alike and they kept adjusting them or removing them anyhow.
Go! Its terrific! We live in Norcross and sometimes forget to include this lovely Italian place in our options list when deciding on an evening out. Inevitably, when we DO go here we kick ourselves for not coming more often! The free bread and dipping sauce/cheese is reason enough for a visit. The staff and the food are always great. Just give it a try. You wont be disappointed!
We have had two company parties here and everyone had a great time. It was only six people but we were seated at a very comfortable table. The appetizers were great for sharing. The braised short rib Cannelloni was my favorite. Desserts excellent. One of our favorite places.
I got spaghetti and my wife clam linguini. The pasta sauce was great on both dishes! The noodles... I’m not sure if they are house made. Part of me says no, they tasted no different than store bought just cooked how they are supposed to be. There was also chicken in my sauce which was not part of the description in the menu. My wife also removed all the clams from the shells and when we received the take home box the clams were all in their shells. The prices seemed pretty steep for pasta and for the restaurant to be called a trattoria. There was also no complementary bread or bread to order on the menu... you need to do better 141.
Phenomenal. Flat-out amazing Italian cuisine, well thought-out, delicious food. From appetizers and salads to main courses and desert, there wasnt one thing I tried (and we had a party of more than 10 people) that was not stand-out good. Would very highly recommend to anyone.P.S. This comes from someone who lives in NYC and grew up eating homemade Italian food from off-the-boat Italian family.
Trattoria One.41 has stood the test of time. It has always been very good but it seems to get better over time. The food and staff are excellent. They have clearly put some time into the wine selections. You will feel great after youre finished...which says a lot. Many many great meals have been had here. Food fantastic, ambience perfect, happy people.
We had the mussels and branzino with lemon risotto. Everything was perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is intensely romantic yet contemporary with some ecclecticism. Service was impeccable. Also try the braised short rib cannelloni, had that on another occasion. So succulent with gorgonzola cream. Divine.
First, let me say I have NEVER, NEVER reviewed a restaurant online before, but this place was so BAD I felt civic duty to do so. ... Salt, salt, more salt, plus a LOT of garlic. I had hoped for more for the two of us at a tab of $172 including tip, but we were sorely disappointed. From the reviews, this sounded like a nice upper-end casual Italian restaurant, but anything but. We started with the Porcine and rice appetizer. It was basically a fried rice ball (C-+, at $12). The Caesar salad was tasteless (C-), and the main course of veal Marsala ($30, D+), was so salty I had to (literally) wash my mouth out with Listerine when I got home. The staff were nice and attentive, but nothing could make amends for the horrible horrible overpriced food.
Consistency and food quality is the sign of a good restaurant. Consistency, service, wonderful food and a great bar is the sign of a great restaurant.Trattoria one41 is a great restaurant! Comfortable, good service and a great basic tomato sauce as the platform for other dishes makes this one of my favorites. Make reservations, its worth the drive.
Excellent service and food! Their marinara sauce is every bit as good as Grandmas. We had 2 appetizers (meat balls with polenta; sausage and peppers) to share with a table of 4. Paired with the bread and sauce - served as starter - we were almost full when salads, then entrees arrived. Never-the-less, we persisted and ended with 2 desserts, gelato, creme brulee to share with our table of four. Portions are generous and each of us left with a box of our entree for later. The only reason I couldnt give 5 stars was the side of roasted potatoes, served with my delicious lamb chops, were dry and tasteless. A blemish on an otherwise perfect meal.
141 was a great dinning experience. The bread and gravy are excellent, the risotto fritters with truffle honey are one of the best foods I have eaten in my life. I also liked the ceaser salad. I tried both the triple layer cake and the bread pudding for dessert, while both are good, the triple layer cake was incredible, layers of chocolate cake, cheesecake and chocolate mousse. It was an outstanding meal.
A very well done Italian experience. The staff was helpful and attentive, the atmosphere was close and intimate, and the food was superb. It was just a family dinner, but eberything from the greeting to the real cloth towels in the restrooms was well thought out and very positive.
Linguini with white clam sauce was hot with red pepper flakes. Not mentioned on menu. Gnocchi also hit with pepper flakes (not mentioned on menu either. Very disappointing!! Server seemed only interested in getting our party of 6 out of restaurant. Not attentive at all. Second time and last eaten there.
What a find! We will never go any where else for Italian again! Feet up, this place was 5 stars. The décor is perfect, not too much and the tables are not too close together. It has a very romantic feel. Appetizers were amazing and large enough to share - the anti pasti was huge and had a wonderful variety on it. You get the most incredible bread brought to your table with a warm tomato sauce with a soft cheese surprise inside. Could have just eaten that all night! I should have stopped there but so glad I didnt because the Cannoli was unreal and my husbands Sea Bass was even better! If you get a chance to request a waitress, ask for Ashli (part owner) she knows her stuff and is wonderful.
This is a Great Local owned Resturaunt and the food and the owners take each person and dish as a personal opportunity please everyone. The food is absolutely delicious. It has light dishes and big dishes for every appetite. We especially like the artichokes appetizer and the veal
This is, hands down, the best Italian food I have ever had. We went here for my 18 year olds birthday party and everyones food from the spaghetti, to the canneloni, to lasagna, to grouper, to orachetti was to die for!!! Service was slow but female owner is very pleasant - romantic atmosphere as well. Will definitely be on my return list of favorites - trying wine next visit!
I placed my order of a side bowl of pasta and an arugula salad and all I drank was water. My salad never came and when the group at my table asked for our bill, the waitress took the entire bill and split the cost between everyone at the table. She charged my card for $51.60. Then when I checked my credit card a couple of days later the charge went through for $61.60, a full $10 over what I authorized! When I called and spoke to a manager about all three of these issues, they promised me a $30 gift card of which I have still yet to see in the mail. That was over a month ago. Very disappointed with the service and lack of customer support.
A other great place too eat. A lot things are really.homemade or store made.I find very very few things come from can.s or frozen.come too find out.they start around 10 am.making that homemade flavor.sauces are made on site.and they dont open till early dinner time think its 5 pm .even the pasta is made on site
We had 7:00 reservations. They were running late ( no call to let us know in advance of the shift in time). We sat fit over 15 minutes in the bar area. No one came over to take a drink order. They went past their estimated seating time, no update, no service so we left. Very disappointing.

2022-03-27Everything was phenomenal and each dish was well curated and executed. The menu is well put together and we struggled to order because everything sounds good. Every dish was above expectations. Prices are very fair. Service exceptional. I will be thinking of this meal for a while and looking forward to returning. Thank you for this exquisite dining experience!!

2022-06-28We LOVED Viande Rouge, it was our absolute favorite date night restaurant.I guess we had high expectations for Trattoria one41, maybe too high. The risotto fritters/balls were a great start, and we ordered our cocktails. The womens bathroom was quite filthy for only being 1 of a few tables seated as they had only been open for an hour.....hairs and urine visible on the seat, a dirty sink just didnt look like it had been cleaned for the day. So then we had a nice Cesar salad with added anchovies. I had the Mediterranean Fish, it was just ok. My husband had the carpaccio which was tasty but had quite a bit of chew to it. I enjoyed the Velvet Underground drink and wouldve loved another one but Herbert never asked me. As he was busy running glasses of wine to other tables. We stayed for dessert and split the tiramisu, which was slopped on the plate and quite watery. Also such a thick layer of cocoa and cinnamon, really took away from it. We wouldve loved a coffee with it but was never offered any. The whole experience was average at best and definitely not as upscale and special occasion worthy as these reviews would have believe. We spent$200 and just felt it wasnt up to par with the quality or taste for that price.Viande Rouge was the best romantic restaurant and you could tell everything was made with such thought and pride in every plate that came out. Didnt get that with Trattoria. Wish youd bring back VR it was perfection!

2021-09-20Best meal in Atlanta end of story! Everything was fantastic! Service, wine, food - nothing but awesome things to say about this place! Artichokes were out of this world as were the chicken and veal parms. Penne allá vodka was outstanding! Will be back soon!

2021-08-21THE restaurant in the Johns Creek area. Based on my experience:Their artichoke appetizer is the best I have ever had. I love artichokes and get them wherever I go. Their version is Michelin-star worthy. The complimentary bread and red sauce is insanely good. Even if youre not a bread person, you will be when they bring you theirs. If you love Caesar salads with white anchovies, theres comes covered with them and crushed croutons. Combined with their homemade dressing, its out of this world.Their grouper with garlicky spinach is to die for. One of the best entrees Ive ever had. Its so good, I cant bring myself to order anything else. I just wouldnt like anything as much as I do this dish.Combined with impeccable service, Trattoria 141 is *the* place to go on a date night or special occasion. You can drive farther, but you wont get better.

2021-01-11Sexy Italian restaurant, low lights, great for a date night.. I visited with my children. The terms had a blast younger kids not so much. The dishes are fresh and flavorful. The fresh baked bread was awesome.
