This place was off the chain in service, professionalism, & the 3:managers Garrett, Geourdie, & Emily made me feel like I was valued and a part of the True Automotive Family. Service was in a timely manner and I was completed satisfied. Being in that area, 5 hours away from home for 5 weeks and having my car needing to be serviced there was one of the highlights of my journey...the tears of joy because of their kindness caused me immense pleasure..Thank you, TRUE

You want the real review, youll get it from me. Dont let those paid reviews fool you. Scheduled an oil change appointment at 11am. They didnt finish with my car until almost closing. As a matter of fact they wouldnt even have remembered my car if I didnt call and voice my concerns. After they finished they charged me $20 extra than their advertised flyer price and claimed it was due to my car requiring 5 Qts of oil. None of that was in the fine print but whatever. Upon driving back I noticed that there was a scraping sound from under my car. I get underneath and see that my splash guard was not put back. Not only that but they NEVER PUT NEW OIL IN MY CAR!!!! COMPLETE CROOKS AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
Tap was amazing to work with. Although my Audi was already too far gone, he informed me of everything and gave me many options to choose from. Never once did I question their honesty. I will for sure be bringing all my future cars here.
My A/C wasn’t working, I had a light on that said it was my heater core which vw said would cost around $1400 to replace. I thought I’d call Tap who takes care of us when we come for oil changes. The man is awesome! He’s honest and actually tries to save you money! Tap and the Mechanic thought there may be a coolant clog and maybe with some flushes we could get it flowing better without replacing the heater core. I got the car back and after talking with Tap I knew I had to drive it a bit before we could see if it had worked and it did. Cold arctic air after two days of driving it. Tap saved me over $800 just on this visit. I will absolutely stay a very very loyal customer as long as Tap is there!
An oil change for $100 without a mailer coupon? Go somewhere else for small stuff but for bigger projects they offer a decent warranty just be prepared to break the bank. I can understand higher prices for the warranty but I have NEVER had an oil change so expensive. I’d sooner get the tools to do it myself
The staff and maintenance crew were very friendly and professional. They provide guaranteed service with a smile. I was impressed with True in how they have worked diligently with my daughter to repair her car. They didnt take advantage of her and have continued toward resolving the issue. Took my 2014 Kia Optima for repair. They are extremely thorough and provide the highest level of customer care I’ve experienced at a repair shop. Everyone in the office was friendly and inviting. Highly recommend.
I wanted a complete maintenance service not just an oil change. John kept saying oil change. I kept insisting on the maintenance not just an oil change. I was led to believe it was. However, once the oil changed was performed, I was advised to take my vehicle to Mercedes Benz because True Automative does not have the special tool needed to perform the maintenance service as Mercedes Benz. The main reason going to True Automotive was to get the maintenance service on my vehicle at a lesser cost than Mercedes Benz. I felt deceived. My first and last time going to that shop.
Awesome time waiting for my car while the oil was being changed. The manager is very friendly and even knows a little about cars! They even have an office dog, little Jazzy, who was also very friendly. Music was good, too.
Absolutely love the customer service received by Emily she was so sweet with the check out process… not to mention the workers Tapp & Jordy who diagnosed my BMW & took care if it the way they’d do their own car. I highly recommend this place because not only do they have great customer service but they have great workers with affordable price’s. Man oh man!! Cant say enough about these guys! They go above and beyond every time. Been here 2 yrs and they are the only place Ive ever went. Definitely with the times, having an online dashboard to show who’s working on the car what’s wrong and sending pictures of what’s broken, that’s very nice. Emily handled my case and was excellent and I forgot the man aching starts with a t but did a great job csr drives amazing compared to how it did

Dropped my ‘04 Passat off with some electrical issues and they got it done within the time they told me. They kept me updated with everything they were doing and it all came with a reasonable price. My family have been using True Automotive since they started business in Marietta. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. John McRae can fix any automotive issues! We call him Dr. John.The staff is so friendly and accommodating which are qualities that are hard to find in so many businesses these days. Their name True suits them as they are thorough and honest and very knowledgeable about their business of taking care of their customers snd their cars. Third visit and all of them have been a charm!!!I finally feel I can trust a auto repair shop.I have little knowledge about cars and it makes me so nervous whenever I notice malfunctioning on mine. I first brought my car with a heated engine due to a leak and TRUE Marietta guide me through all its issues step by step. They use a cool system where you get text notifications so you can approve every service they offer. In the second and third visit they took care of my brakes, transmission belts, oil change and maintenance check ups. Bill the manager, Isaac (Spanish speaker a big plus+) and Emily educated me on all these repairs for my safety and in order to extend the life of my vehicle.6th star for service!!! The team is so welcoming and warm every time and most important I feel their interest on building a honest relationship with the customer.I found my car shop and if you are reading this... you wont be disappointed with their services!!!

Took my daughters car in to fix the heating system and the major service for the vehicle. The dealership wanted to replace the unit for over 3x what True Automotive repaired the unit for. They kept us informed and worked through the issue without racking up a bunch of charges. I felt we got excellent service from True Automotive.
I just wanna start off by saying thank you to the team at true automotive. You guys are truly amazing ! I had to get my engine replaced, which can be a time consuming repair. True automotive was very timely, and communicative with any issues they ran into. This team definitely goes above and beyond for their customers. I had experience some of the worst customer service from my car finance company, and warranty company. I fought nail and tooth with them just for them to keep denying my repair claim. So True automotive step up , and showed just why they indeed are the best. They were understanding, and willing to work with me to get me back on the road! Even though it wasn’t on them to make this situation right, they did anyway. And I am very grateful of them and their compassion towards new and returning customers! If I could I would give you guys 20 stars for awesomeness, and professionalism. I guess a 5 star will just have to do lol. My Son owns a 2004 VW Passat. We purchased the car and it needed some work. We needed a coolant flush and some electrical work. They also recommended other services too that well come back to them for in the near future. I can say fully that we had a very good experience as first time customers with TRUE Automotive. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wishing to receive quality service at affordable prices. Two thumbs up!!
Our daughter is moving across the country taking her 2008 VW Beetle with her. We asked them to take a look at everything as if it were their own daughters car (an easy opportunity to gouge for unnecessary repairs). Just the opposite. Incredibly honest, fair prices, detailed explanations, and at the end, a car in excellent condition that I feel very comfortable leaving with my daughter.
From start to finish it was a smooth transaction! They did exactly what they said they would and kept me in the loop along the way. Had a issue after the motor was installed and they had it towed right away. Small problem that was easily fixed and then returned the car to me. I went there for b12 service on my Honda civic. The service was relatively fast and everyone was very friendly. The technician that worked on my car was great. Gave me some extra info that I didnt know I needed.
The folks there were really kind and down to earth. I went for a diagnosis for my BMW and they gave me the results that I wanted. Since they are close to Powder Springs, Ill be going to them for my European car needs. Will I go back again? You bet I will.
I had like three days left to take advantage of my extended warranty I had purchased from my bank, and Emily was able to get me in before my warranty expired. They did a major repair on my engine and checked a couple of other issues while they were in there. They had my car ready in a week, and when we picked it up we were able to meet the mechanic that made the repairs and talk with him about what he did and what he saw. It was the best experience ever dealing with a car repair facility. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone. I felt like I could trust them, and I hate to say this, but as a female I am not confident in dealing with car repairs. When I met Emily I felt I was in good trustyworthy hands. I went in for a scheduled oil change appointment. It took irregularly long for a simple oil change, but the technicians at TRUE automotive went above and beyond. The completed an entire undercarriage inspection and informed me of everything I should be cautious about. I left knowing my car got a thorough diagnostic evaluation and highly recommend any type of service being handled with TRUE automotive.
I have never had such great customer service in all my life. Every time I go in everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The biggest thing for me is they are honest and have no problem visually showing me what is wrong with my car.They let me know what is priority and what I can hold off on that is not a safety concern. They do not ever try to drain my wallet like a few repair facilities I’ve been to before. I really appreciate these guys and gals. Customer for life!!
I brought my BMW in for a drivetrain malfunction message. They quickly confirmed the suspected problem, had the repair parts quickly and coordinated with my vehicle service plan company to cover the necessary repair. Their communication was outstanding and workmanship was very professional (I do most of my own routine maintenance and am under the hood and car regularly, and inspected their work after completion.) I will definitely return for any future service/repair for my BMW and have finally found my local shop.
Step by step communication. Listened, identified the problems, discussed options, gave recommendations and completed job in as timely a manner as possible. In the meantime, everyone was considerate and went above and beyond to be professional and personally supportive....its True!
I recently just got a car and was having trouble with emmissions and went to True Automotive in Marietta. They quickly got me in, keep me updated with my car about what needed to be done, and it was all done in the same day. It was also very affordable. The workers were also nice and welcoming. They even directed me to an affordable emissions place. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. 👍👍 They definitely earned themselves a new client.

I had previous replaced the clutch in my 02 F-150 and started having electrical codes showing up as well as various issues happening with the performance of the truck as well as a constant drain on my battery. For 2 years I tried to get various mechanics to help and told each of them that I was certain that I had pinched a wire between the transmission and the engine. A few looked and said “nothing pinched” and suggested a lifetime of waiting while they “figure it out” with no explanation of what that meant.True listened to the history, asked pointed questions and gave me an action plan with cost estimates and assurances of what each step would be. In the end they confirmed the issue was what I expected quickly, fixed it in a few days after setting expectations and even identified other small issues that I could get addressed if I wanted to.The experience of working with True vs the dozens of mechanics I have used throughout my life was night and day. A great group of people, knowledgeable and helpful mechanics and simply a joy to work with.
Coming to TRUE Automotive was by far the best experience of my entire life when dealing with any auto repair shop! Their professionalism was top notch and their genuine care for myself and my vehicle was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. I have never walked into an auto shop and felt like they truly cared about me as a person until I came here. Everything was so easy and they were incredibly informative. Billy took care of me and was by my side every step of the way. He hooked me up with a loaner vehicle at no charge while they were working on my car which was so convenient. They text you with updates and various options/prices. Billy personally called me on a few occasions to keep me updated, walk me through what I needed/didn’t need, and let me know how long it would take until my car was ready. He even let me know that my car was in great shape and informed me on how long it may be before I might need any type of specific work done on my car. Billy got me the best prices possible and had me taken care of so quickly. Never once did I feel like they were trying to upsell me or take advantage of me. I can’t thank everyone at TRUE Automotive enough! I will never take my vehicle anywhere else after my experience here. I highly recommend everyone to come here, you just won’t find another auto repair shop like TRUE Automotive!

If youre looking for a maintenance shop that treats you and your car with respect, look no further.I took my Mini Cooper into the Mini dealership for some repairs, and received a quote for nearly six thousand dollars. After calling around for another opinion, I found True Automotive. The initial call to speak to them about my issues sold me immediately. I have never had a maintenance repair shop take the time to assist me over the phone like they did. They performed a free second inspection, diagnosed the issues I was having with my car, helped me understand some of the items the dealership said I needed were in fact not needed, and they saved me thousands of dollars.The entire staff is so friendly, you will not regret taking your car there. I will not take my Mini anywhere else, they have my business for life!

This place is a rip-off..... I do not recommend going here at all. Way overpriced, The leaders are liars, which includes the owners Dave Markert, and Rob E. Coming from a woman who knows little about cars they will run over you and lie about it. If you are a woman I would run and never look back. if you want to be taken advantage of, Lied to, misused than I would definitely recommend them. No wonder they business has suffered so much since Mike A was fired. Yes I said fired thats another lie they have been telling the older customers who have been coming here for years. He did not quit they torched that poor man, who had been running this business for 10+ years. They will have NOTHING BUT BAD LUCK!
I don’t believe that my words will do justice for the quality of customer service I received from each and every person here. My car broke down at work and I had it towed to True Automotive in Marietta. I called and spoke to Brian to let him know that the car was going to be towed there and what it was doing. The next morning I spoke to Bill (the manager) and he told me he had the car and asked me questions so he fully understood what the car was doing. Bill constantly stayed in touch letting me know what David’s thoughts were and how the testing was going. Bill’s professionalism, and kindness made me feel confident in all the repairs my car needed. Since I was at work when he sent me a link which allowed me to see pictures, and technician notes. I fully understood what was needed and why. When I arrived to check out Emily’s smile lit up the whole room. I felt immediately welcomed. She took care of my payments and made sure I fully understood the bill. My trust has been wholly placed in True Automotive now. They have definitely gained a customer for life!

All I can say is wow! The company is professional from the owner Bill to the technicians and office personnel. Mechanic shops are like dentist offices to me, I hate them. Its hard to trust the mechanic, especially as a woman driving a decent car. However, this experience was so different. It was like going in for an interview for your dream job! All I can say is wow, what an amazing experience. Im in no rush to spend money, but I will be back if I need a repair done. Hopefully later than sooner, but you get the point. Lol. Amazing crew. These guys were great. Incredibly thorough and competent. My favorite part about this place is their enthusiasm! We will definitely be servicing our familys vehicles here from now on.I have an older car, and they performed a very thorough inspection and diagnostic evaluation. They really listened to me on what my needs were from my car. I told them I loved not having a car payment, and they made recommendations for servicing that would keep me in my same car for many more years.Rob worked with me to prioritize which items needed immediate attention. They fixed my car up quickly, and they kept me in the loop throughout the servicing with pictures and text messages. I feel like my car hasnt run this well in years. They even cleaned the dashboard and floorboards! Crazy good service, and I really appreciate all of their attention to detail and their expertise.
After changing the battery on my BMW X5 on my own, I found out I had to get the new battery registered in the system. Issac was able to get me in the next morning after I called! This was my first time using their services and they hit it out of the park - got my car in and out in 45 min, performed a free multi point inspection without me even asking for one, gave me a summary of what needed my attention along with pictures and pricing (yes I already new about these things so no surprises here) and sent me on my way without placing the pressure of having to get it done at that exact moment (these were things that could wait it out of course). Everyone in the office was professional and welcoming and got to see first hand their commitment to their clients and services - also learned that most of their team has a long history in working for this industry and also specialized in certain car makes big plus for BMW owners. I look forward to brining them my next car issue!

I took my car to this site for an AC repair of my 2011 Honda Accord, and was I was attended by Emily Miller. They ran every possible diagnostic on my car, and came up with the same conclusion as the Honda dealership I initially brought it to. I needed to replace the A/C Compressor. The difference however is that the Honda dealership was trying to charge me over $3,000 dollars for this service, while True Car charged me about $1,100 for the same service. They did this over 1 month ago, and the A/C has been working great without any issues.
I have always taken my car to the dealership for service but my last few visits have not been good. When my check engine light came on, I called for service but could not get an appointment until the end of August. I called True Automotive, they immediately made an appointment to check the engine light. From that to getting the oil changed, this is an outstanding service center. The entire staff was courteous and professional and explained everything to me. I will continue to use them for all my car repairs.
Tap(service writer) checked by brake pads and determined that they did not need to be replaced. I appreciate the honesty. Everyone was polite and respectful. I highly recommend this shop for all your service needs. Two thumbs up!!!!!

These folks at True are genuine. My whole family has brought their vehicle in for one thing or another. They always handle the job. These guys are super knowledgeable over many different vehicles. Brian Buford is one of the best Service advisors I have ever had the opportunity to work with. He knows his stuff. Now lets not forget about the mechanics...the guys that handle the dirty work. All around these guys make you feel at home. I stop by sometimes just to say Hi. You should too.
We have both of our cars serviced here and its an absolutely top notch place, been coming for years for routine maintenance of our older vehicles, and the occasional bigger job. Customer satisfaction and charging a fair price for quality work - and not trying to push anything that you dont need - are obvious priorities here.
All I can say is Wow! True Automotive was my 3rd stop to get my Jeep repaired. I waited 2 weeks to get an appt at the Jeep dealership. Rented a car and waited 3 days and still hadnt heard back from Jeep. I called. They said I was next in line. I said, No thanks... Ill come get my Jeep. Took it to another local repair shop and they couldnt diagnose the problem. I read the great reviews for True and decided to give them a shot. Im so glad I did. Starting with a great Hello! from Bill, who I later found out was the owner, I knew I found the right place. They diagnosed the issue the same day. Emily stayed in contact with me every step of the way. I drove out a few days later with my Jeep repaired at a cost $1000 less than what Jeep quoted me. If youre looking for a trustworthy, fast, reliable, and knowledgeable auto repair shop look no further. I will never take my ride anywhere else! Thanks again True Automotive! You guys are amazing!
So I waited until they got a tech experienced in VW, Audi, etc. to service my TDI.I did not want to deal with the inept dealership_(VW)They gave me a curticy ride home.Long story short the routine service on my vehicle saved me at least $100 over the dealership.This was my second experience with True the first was for a crown Vic.I have been pleased with both experiences.

I stay next door to the business and I always seen several cars there, and decided to take my car to Nissan. Nissan could not find the solution to my problem, so my wife suggested I take it to True Automotive. Needless to say, it was the best decision to make from a person who knows nothing about cars. The service men were knowledgeable and courteous. I will be going back.
These guys are absolutely awesome people. They are transparent and honest about everything they do, and are sometimes even willing to work with you on some things. I had a break job done, but my brake pads were so worn that the brake calipers had locked up and the job ended up being way more than they expected, but the technician was very nice and decided to help me out with the labor cost. This was the longest brake job Ive ever done he said.When my timing belt broke on my car, they clearly showed that they want whats in my best interest. With my particular car, the engine would have been cheaper to replace, than replacing the timing belt in the old engine, however they didnt try to milk money out of me...they suggested that I try to get a new car at this point, and I totally agree. Totally loving the patience and honesty that they have shown me.If they make an accidental mistake, they will tell you and not hide it like other auto shops. I feel like their goal is to be the most honest auto shop ever and be the good apple of the bunch. I always feel very comfortable and friendly, and like family whenever I am there. They are very communicative and dont brush you off if you have questions. Her is wishing the staff at TRUE Marietta a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. They all went above and beyond to find a “phantom “ problem I was having with my 2009 Silverado! The truck would basically quit running in the middle of the road and the warning lights on dash would light up like a Christmas tree.My main mechanic was John. He thought he had found the problem with a fuel sensor, seemed to solve the problem with truck running fine. One week later truck stopped in middle of road, same problem.True sent a wrecker at no cost to me to pick up truck.John asked if he could drive truck home to see if problem would show up again. It finally did. The computer module was bad. TRUE did not charge additional labor, just the part. Truck acted up one last time, John traced down another sensor after driving the truck for a couple of days. Truck has been running perfect ever since. Emily and Bill kept me informed the entire time and John was determined to finish the job. I would give 6 stars for the service. By the way,researching the problem on the internet, GM hadsuper problems with the 2009 5.3 engine. A lot of people just gave up and got rid of their 2009’s.They needed John and TRUE!!!!!Ken MillsapsMarietta, Ga.

First I want to say that the entire staff at True Automotive from the first time I stepped foot in the office about a year ago was and is amazing! I hate that I didnt leave earlier reviews on my prior visits, but just know that I havent taken my vehicles to be serviced any where else.That said, todays review shout out is for Emily in the office and Larry.Iwent in for an oil change and needed to get some work done while waiting. Emily noticing my set up offered to have me use the space in the office to work, which I didnt know existed all the times I was there haha. And she is so personable and helpful.Larry was so thorough in explaining a concern he had, and gave me all the options. Fortunately it was a simple fix, and he had my car ready to go sooner than I expected.
They identified the issue with my air conditioning but it was too expensive to repair on my old Mini. More an issue with how complicated the Mini is to repair.They did a free inspection but I think some of the items were not checked but listed as needing attention because things like air filters, cabin filters always seem to need attention even though mine were replaced two days before this service.Friendly facility and they seem competent. This was my first time there and I would go back.
This is the best automotive shop I had eeeeever been to into my whole intire life. Everybody the whole staff especially Mr. Bill awesome good genuine Man. . Clean and perfect. I can go on and on. Ive had them make repairs to both of my vehicles and despite the distance to, i wouldnt trust major repairs to anyone else. They are extremely through. They provide detailed breakdown of any and all issues you may and a breakdown on cost and time frame for handling them. They also follow up with you after theyre done. Highly reccommend you trusting them with you automotive repair needs
So Ive used this place maybe three or four times over the years and Ive been pleased each time. But this last time they have exceeded my expectations. Initially I took my car to the Audi dealership land received horrible service from them. I drove my car in 105k mile service and had to tow it home. Needless to say, I will never go back to them again. Ill provide review a little later.Anyway so when I realized I needed to have my car towed, I towed it to True Automotive and gave them the list of things Audi said was wrong with the car and the number to my warranty company. They have been so patient and proactively handling the warranty company and my insurance company to fix my car.Basically the dealership told me I should just get a new car after their negligence damaged it. Not the case at True. Its a convertible and Audi suggested replacing the custom top as well as the waterlogged VCM module. All of that, plus draining the water out of the car, would total it out. In the middle of a pandemic, I didnt want to do that and I felt like I should not have to be made to do that because of their negligence. So I brought it over to True and they were able to Repair the car and the top so I would not have to pay over $6,000 just to replace it. Even though I had a warranty company that would cover some of the internal damages like the power steering pump sway bars and stuff like, when Audi had it, they hadnt even tried to submit them to my warranty company.True automotive replacement ECM module repair the top and was able to work with my warranty company to address the other issues and I didnt have to get involved. They drained the water out of my car pull the seats and the carpet to dry everything, they took pictures for my insurance company/lawsuit, and the customer service is bar none. I love how they take you into the shop to see the repairs needed before they do it. They are listed with AAA (thats how I found them) and the technicians are excellent and can think outside the box when necessary. They are just great. I like Sam shes really helpful in explaining the issues and next steps. Brian is excellent as well making sure updated on my cars progress.Its a small shop but they provide loaners to use while they are fixing your vehicle. I have recommended family and friends to this place. They also give out coupons by the dozen and Ive never had subpar service or even felt like theyve cut corners. When something is repaired you can feel it in how your car rides. I lo r this place and will not go anywhere else ever again. I just always thought the dealership was better for servicing your car since theyre the ones who manufactured it. Definitely not the case.
Found this company through Carmax via RepairPal, (used MaxCare). Both Carmax locations near me were scheduling weeks out, but True Automotive had the car back up and running in two days. It broke on Tuesday, and I picked up the fully repaired car on Thursday. They got the needed part shipped next day, and they even let me add on an oil change halfway through with no extra wait. Emily kept me informed, walking me through the whole thing (even helping me navigate my first towing). They took a bad situation and made it a lot less frustrating. I will absolutely be returning for all repairs while I have MaxCare, and probably after it ends, too.

I was able to get a same day appointment for an alignment on my FRS.The customer service was amazing, the waiting room was very comfortable, and you can actually see them work on your vehicle from the lobby.Apparently, the alignment machine they use is one of the best on the market, as they do focus on the sport car community; however, I did see a few non-sport cars in the bay as well.After a month, and a drive across the East coast, my car drives like it did the first day I purchased it off of the lot!The prices as fair, they offer financing, theyre customer- oriented, and locally owned (which I appreciate and like to support). Im very pleased with my service, and will return for other maintenance throughout the year.Thanks Mike and Rob!
I have known Dave and Rob for over 5 years now! Amazing staff and dedication to their craft to get where they have gotten in this business, it’s awesome to see how far they’ve come. They custom built a big brake kit for my 335is and it was a big project they took on and worked tireless hours on for me. Greatly appreciate their time and efforts in that project. Water pump and timing belt Estimate to replace was 1800. Was honestly thinking about doing the service here since it looked like they knew what they were doing. Was hesitating getting the work done and Tap dropped the price 200 for me. I knew it was a little suspicious then and their. 200 dollar price drop with out talking to your manager or supervisor? 200 is not baby money so I knew he was up charging me. Asked around and estimates came out to 700-900 . They might know what their doing but very overpriced. Oh and they changed me 140 for a leak test.

Amazing customer service! Bill was fantastic and so friendly.I went out to my car one day to find a flat tire- I brought my Volvo to True Automative and they performed a tire check to see if it could be repaired first. Turns out it was just a small leak from the valve. They fixed it right then and there, and I left within 30 minutes of arriving. It was clear from the get-go that this team is customer-focused!Though my visit was quick, they left quite the impression. I will definitely be back for all my Volvo and VW needs! Had a very hard to diagnose problem with my car. Turns out that my csr was sold to me with the wrong size tires. You couldnt see it with the naked eye but it was causing my car to shut off.Not a very common issue.The diligence, professionalism, and care exhibited by the team at True Automotive was second to none.Going forward, I will only take my car to True Automotive.
First off, let me say that I am a dealership service type of guy. I’ve always just taken my car directly to the dealership for service. Today, I had my SUV at the dealership (brand omitted) for service. There was much more service needed than anticipated and I was given an astronomically high price for those services. I decided to hold off and get some second opinions. I went to True Automotive and spent some time with Rob reviewing the issues and my options. Rob and John (the service technician) were able to diagnose my issues and fix them same day for a much, much better rate than the dealership. So, now I’m left wondering what took me so long to get away from the dealership and get to True Automotive! Their honesty, transparency, quality and pricing or so far superior, I’m just glad I was able to find them when I did. I will start taking all of my cars to them and no more dealership service for me!

I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time and was seen right away. They were even able to get my second car (that I had my teen drive) in as well for service. The electronic inspection report that was sent to my phone is a huge plus. Lastly, I found the cost for services very reasonable, and I appreciated the great customer service.
The team at True, both mechanics and management, went above and beyond when my warning light would not cooperate. They replaced the sensor and when that did not work continued to follow up until they found a sensor that would communicate with my system properly. They would not stop until they found the solution.

My 2013 Ford Explorer needed a new water pump. Its a big job (several days) and only certain places will even do it. I thought my only option was taking it back to the dealer service center. A friend of mine had a great experience at TRUE Marietta and recommend them. Bill is awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly. TRUE replaced my water pump (at a great price) and my explorer drives great! They have a customer for life now.

About 1 year ago they did our front and rear brakes along with rotars on the front on our 2015 Toyota Highlander. We were not informed that the rotars for the rest, just pads. Not even 20K miles later there is noise from the brakes. We take it back because of warranty. They tell us that it is because of the rear rotars. They finally agree to fix the car at a reduced fee. They promise to get us in with a loaner car, we did not hear from them for over 1 week and decided to just get the car repaired without getting a loaner car. We drop off the car for repair based on estimates and prices agreed upon. Keep in mind we had already brought the car in to be inspected to find out what the problem was for. In addition, from our last oil change with Toyota they indicated brakes needed to be done. Not even 20 K miles from when they were last done. So we leave the car and then get another call indicating that the calipers are bad and need to be replaced and it will be more money. We should have stuck with Toyota of Autonation. They have always done a good job with no issues. I have learned from this experience, even if it costs more with the dealer...stick with them because they know your car!

I have been having an issue with my brake lights for a while and no one was able to figure it out. The people at True Automotive in powder Springs took me right in figured out the problem and fixed it in the same day. After having gone to several places previously For this Recurring issue, I was so Relieved the technician took the time to dig and solve the causes. They quoted me an affordable price . Most of all, they were just genuinely nice people and did everything to accommodate me. I appreciate the technician who dug deeper into looking into the causes. Even though it seem minor the issue kept coming back and he was able to solve multiple problems. Very grateful that he took the time to figure that out. The process went smoothly. Was issued a loaner car. The repairs were done in a timely manner and my car is back on the road again.There were a few hiccups, but communication is so important. I was made aware about a part delay and then a new issue came up that was not planned for. Brian was upfront and did all that he could to get things handled as quickly as possible. I am appreciative of the level of service that I received.

My air conditioning died, and I drove around with no AC for almost a YEAR before bringing it to TRUE. I was so worried about the cost of the repair, I suffered through MANY days of no AC. Finally took it in, and it was such a simple (and relatively inexpensive) repair. I should have gone in sooner!

Even during a pandemic, True Automotive stayed professional, understanding and accommodating. I had a check engine light on which prevented me from passing my emissions test. So I called and spoke to Bill at True Automotive. Bill was my point man during the entire process and found a quick and affordable solution to fix my car. Bill even took my car to an emissions test sight so that I could experience a turn key operation! Even though I never got to shake his hand due to social distancing requirements, Bill Waved to me when I picked up my car and He showed how friendly he is! I Will continue to use True Automotive in the future.

Made the trip all the way from Nashville TN just for MMW reputation and it did not disappoint. They did a great job replacing the rod bearings in my BMW E90 M3. Extremely happy with the service and care for my car. They were up front about all costs and expectations, sent plenty of updates, and checked in with me well after the service to make sure I was happy. By far the best experience I have had with any repair shop.
We have an old Acura, it needs a lot of work. Bill broke down everything that it needed so we could make an educated decision as to whether we wanted to put the money in and keep the car or sell it. Rob followed up to make sure I was happy with the service. Main thing is that they contacted me with detailed info BEFORE any work was done and waited for my reply. I want honesty and fairness. Felt that is what I received. The previous owner lacked that, but I feel the new owner is different and does care.

The other night while leaving a friends house I hit a dip and tore the under paneling on my Kia Optima. Nothing too terrible but it made an anxiety inducing scraping sound from time to time when it hit pavement just wrong. I found out that TRUE would be able to take a look at it as soon as the following Monday so I went in and they took a look. $267 to replace the underpaneling. If I wanted to. They were completely honest about the fact that that part is largely unnecessary as long as I have the piece thats in front of it. I walked out of there and paid nothing. Because of that honesty and service I can safely say I know where Ill be taking my car with any issue or for maintenance from now on.
Ive been a customer of MMW for years. Ive had several BMWs serviced with them. I live in Roswell and was ecstatic to found out the Marietta location was open. I purchased an 2003 Mercedes E500 with roughly 170k miles. The first thing I did was have MMW do a full inspection of the vehicle, as well as a Service A. Mike and William were fantastic with communication as soon as I booked an appointment. Not to mention having the fun of throwing around ideas on how I would customize my E500 while I waited during the inspection. I love how personable the entire team is. One noteworthy aspect to MMW is the inspection report. Not only did Mike go through all the results with me. The report is digital, the report is segmented by the severity of the issues found during the inspection. Making it very clear whats important and what is not. These guys are top notch! Life long customer.
So Ive had a few issues with my car battery and truck well had more than just a battery issue .. these guys and gals as soon as I walked in had my safety and best interest at heart. That meant a lot. Even had a loaner for when I had to leave my truck. Bill is the best at customer service and answering all my questions. My husbands car wouldnt start. We called MMW, and not only did they get his car towed over there in about an hour, but they called him to talk with him about the issues as soon as the car arrived. We picked up the car the next day, and everyone was super nice. They made sure that we were informed every step of the way, and we will definitely be back! Clutch and gear ...box? Oh my goodness. I purchased my Mini Copper Countryman a couple of years ago as a replacement for my little red Mazda Miata M5.Getting back to my Mini. The former owner drove the car for three years to and from work...from Alpharetta to Atlanta in the horrific Atlanta traffic. Yes, I was able to speak to the owner after I purchased the Mini.After my purchase of the Mini, I was beginning to believe I had lost my manual driving abilities...after 12 months, my ability to shift gears became even more difficult for me to manage...I only drove the Mini a total of 15 miles per week. Well, the the culprit...the toil of the previous owner driving the Mini 5 days a week, 60 miles a day...in the horrendous stop and go ATL traffic.I was stranded on a Friday evening after a long tedious day at work. My first week of work after an early retirement of 11 years, I am disabled 🙃, divorced and on my mend back to rebuilding an even better me!The Mini was inoperable...turns out, the clutch was done and the gear shift box mechanism was DONE. OMG, Lord knows I did not have the immediate funds to even pay for the tow...I had received a postcard mailer from TRUE Automotive only a day before my car stalled on me. THAT WAS THE BLESSING.Bill and his team waited for me to arrive via the tow truck, 15 minutes after closIng time on a Friday. They even drove me home with all my work stuff in tow.I received my 🚗 as promised on time and my Mini Cooper drives better and sounds better today than the first day I drove it. Yes, now I can definitely tell that Mini Coopers are a part of the BMW family.Because of the nature of service needed the repair was expensive however, the cost was $700.00, less expensive than the Mini Cooper dealership.I can not thank Bill, Skyler, Sam, Brian and the young lady, Miss Rebecca enough for being there for me...Zeta, the hurricane that made her appearance in Cobb County only a few days before blew down a couple of trees at my home and I had just spent $1600.00, removing trees and repairing the fence in my back yard.My eldest brother ❤ just purchased a Porsche Carrera and I told him, it is worth his drive from Roswell to West Cobb to have his AWESOME RED MACHINE serviced by this team. The guys and gal they had working there were great and very helpful. I was very impressed with the service they provided. They even took pictures during the process that they shared with me. I highly recommend! Oil change was extremely reasonable.

MMW is a very trustworthy repair shop. They are honest, use quality parts (important), guarantee their work. Mike, William, and John (an excellent mechanic by the way) treat you like family. I have been going to them for 20+ years and would never go anywhere else. Recently, my check engine light came on and I called ahead to tell them I will be there around closing time. Both William and John waited for me and ran the check engine code, after close, so I’d have an idea what the issue was. Wonderful people.
I have been bringing my vehicles to this location since 2012. Mike has always ensured that my vehicles are well maintained, and he and his crew let me know of any issues that need to be addressed. They have always accommodated me by shuttling me to and from my job location. Now, with loaner cars, it is even more convenient for me. I highly recommend. My thanks to all.
I had been at the Toyota dealership yesterday for four and a half hours only to be told that they couldnt fix my car without ordering a new part. I stopped by here on the off chance that they could and 10 minutes later the part that I needed was put back in place with clips that a dealership should have had. 10 minutes at true automotive and my problem was fixed by John and the manager Bill. They will be getting my business for this car and any other car I own I own a 2009 Toyota Highlander, and the sunglass holder had fallen out because the clips that were in it when it was made had given out over time. It took them five minutes to do what took the dealership 4 hours to say that they couldnt do.
Simply one of the best experiences Ive ever had at an automobile repair facility. I was shown and explained why I needed this work done on my car. They even showed me the parts they replaced and showed me the damage. They were thorough, courteous and did excellent work. Also, provided me with a clean loaner to drive while my car was being repaired. Whats not to like? Come and see for yourself.
I few days ago I had my car serviced at MMW Repair. Mike and William were amazing. Customer service unlike any other. They were very professional, timely, affordable and went above and beyond the normal service I have gotten anywhere before at a price that killed the competition. I have known Dave and Rob for years, and they do premier work. They are the number #1 BMW tuning shop in the country, I shipped my car from Dallas for work because they are THAT good. Not only is there work top-notch, but their level of customer service is outstanding. They are very honest, and at one point had to talk me out of buying unnecessary parts for a repair. Took my Ford Escape in when my check engine light came on. Service from Mike and William was excellent and everything was done in a timely and cost effective manner. Mike and William were both very trustworthy and helped me understand what was wrong with my car and how they were going to fix it. I would go back anytime even for just routine maintenance. Rob, the owner is the man and a complete beast. His staff are extremely helpful, dedicated, and car fanatics. They gave me the most detailed, professional car analysis I have ever seen. Mike and William serviced my 2000 BMW 740iL and walked me through any issues I had. I did not feel pressured by them and trusted them which is a great feeling as a customer. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who really cares for their cars and want them to be handled by true pros.
Bill and the staff at True Automotive diagnosed what I thought was a tire balance issue as broken belts in two tires on my 2003 Honda Odyssey. He gave a great recommendation to a local tire shop and did not charge me anything! Well be back!
I had a problem with my car. I called them, and they helped me. I was treated very well by them. Mike was the one who took care of my car and explained to me everything that was going to be done. They have a clean and comfortable waiting room, a clean bathroom and an excellent staff. The work was executed quickly. Im delighted with the service and support of MMW. Where do I start. Great Customer Service, Great Communication, Great People. I happened to be driving to another mechanic when I drove past True Automotive. I made a u-turn because I noticed a Liqui Moly sign and I have an 06’ X5. I was open to using new a mechanic (True Automotive) due the level of subpar customer service I received with the old mechanic I was in route to.As soon as I pulled into the parking lot I was greeted by owner Rob who opened the door and began to tell me the story of True Automative. It was clear they had a vision of delivering great customer service. MMW Repair is awesome. The owners (Dave and Rob) go to great lengths to make sure their customers are happy. They have worked on a couple of my cars in the past, and they will work on all of my future cars. They are patient, thorough, and do excellent quality control. Im not nervous about my car breaking now because I know these guys will take great care of both me and my car.

These guys, Mike and William at the Marietta store specifically, are the best of the best in terms of automobile service. They have worked on my E90 M3 since day one of ownership for me. Frankly at this point I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They service my F-150 truck and Lexus GX460 as well, simply because they are that easy to work with and give the best all around service I have ever received from an auto shop. Their greatness is in their attention to detail and commitment to the custome. It starts at the top and is embraced by every employee.
I have been taking a leased fleet vehicle to this facility for years. They know who I am and that payment is sent to the leasing company. So all I have to do is make sure when they can do the work, get it there and pick it up. The rental cars they have makes it even that much more convenient.Working on County Services Pkwy. Is tough on vehicle tires. Most people who regularly work in this area will have a flat tire all along. Last week, I had a tire destroyed by a piece of a brick. MMW took the vehicle right in, kept it until they could get to it and replaced the tire.Very trustworthy folks. They take care of my personal vehicles as well.
I recently had problems with the battery failing a couple times on my little Honda. The Honda dealer ran a test and told me everything was fine. When my car wouldn’t start for the 3rd time, I brought it in, and both Mike and William were able to help me replace it for a new one! Service was quick, affordable and professional. Highly recommend :)
I have been taking my BMW 325i to MMW for several years in Lawrenceville. I have always found Rob and Dave to be professional and knowledgeable about my car. MMW Repair in Marietta has truly raised the bar in car maintenance customer service and repair. From the office personnel to the auto mechanics, each employee appreciates your business, and they care about the safety of their customers. I initially asked for an oil change, but I was made aware of low coolant fluid and filters that were clogged. I recommend MMW Repair in Marietta even if you have to drive past several other repair shops. You will be pleased with their stellar service!
I have used NAPAs Premier Service Center on Powder Springs road since moving to Powder Springs in 2009. I have taken multiple cars to them multiple times and always found them to be friendly, courteous, and competitive auto experts; always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate my schedule and transportation needs. Mike, the Manager, and Kevin are very professional and provide excellent customer service.UPDATE: A year later my opinion hasnt changed. John M is an awesome mechanic, and he is very friendly! He resolved the issue with our vehicle after we had taken it to two other shops with no luck. John M deserves a raise or some type of recognition for his excellence in customer service as well as in his expertise in auto repair.
First of all, where should I start when talking about TRUE Automotive. This shop is hands down one of the best automotive spots I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I would like to give a big thanks to Rob (Owner), Brian (Mechanic), & Derrica (sp.) (Receptionist) on my initial contact with them, during the evaluation of my wifes BMW X5, all the way until the job was completed. I originally took my wifes car in to get a quick oil change, when Rob called to tell me that there was a huge coolant leak, that I already knew about, but I didnt know the extent of the damage caused by the leak. To make a long story short, they gave me some great professional advice that this leak could cause drastic damage to my engine, if left unchecked. Keep in mind, they were not trying to play me at all with me having an Engineering background. To prove what he was saying, he sent me several photos before he started the repair to really show me how bad the leak was and what was damaged, as a result. During the repair, they cleaned the undercarriage of the car, which included a pan that was filthy with old spilled oil, belts, hoses, front of the engine block, replaced the water pump, thermostat, oil filter adapter, oil cooler seal, and radiator cap (pro bono)! The crazy thing was we just took our car to United BMW a couple of days before we went to TRUE Automotive and they never said a word about the coolant leak or even looked up under the car, to see that there were power steering hoses incorrectly installed from previous work. This alone probably saved us a lot of money in the long run as we had no earthly idea that this had occurred. They are very transparent and candid! Overall, they got my wifes car 100 x better than it was, when I first took the car there and the engine probably thanks me for it being clean and able to breathe again. We still got a few more things to fix, but here on out, they will be the only mechanics working on my vehicles!!
Used to be great service, but now they are just a bunch of predatory mechanics. Not even experts.The last couple of times I went in they attempted to run by bill up with outrageous labor costs. ($1100 to replace an ignition control module and code a key for it.) This time: $120 BASE cost to plug in your computer and read an error code? $430 EACH for front set and rear set brake pad replacement? $180 to replace a thermostat sensor? I understand that some parts are easier to access than others, but then charging 110% markup on the $250 part and having that NOT include programming it? What labor are they performing? My previous interactions a year ago were pleasant, but these newer guys are downright predatory. They even used the classic tactics of taking my car apart then telling me that I need to replace $800 worth of parts and pay as much or more in labor costs. Interacting with William felt like a verbal fencing match where he was just trying to see how much he could push me into buying. You will go broke getting standard servicing here.
This place is a rip-off..... I do not recommend going here at all. Way overpriced.I went in for an oil change and to have my tires rotated and balanced. I also asked while the tires are already off can you look at the front breaks and let me know if the pads are worn due to hearing a squeal when breaking. I was charged an additional $67 for the technician to shine his flashlight at the pads and say yep looks like you need breaks. He already had the tires off due to the rotation and balance that was an additional charge. The additional shop fees are high as well. I supplied my own oil and filters.I understand the cost for the tire rotation, balance, and the oil change. I would have even understood the shop fees but the $67 for the brakes is absolutely ridiculous. He didn’t do anything. Waste of money.UPDATE - After writing my review I was notified by the service writer who admitted that they made a mistake and that I never should have been changed for the brake inspection. They took my credit card number and said I should see the $67 refund. Let’s hope that it shows up. I’m glad that they responded to my complaint and made things right. Have used this company for years and never had an issue until now. Like I said I’m glad they reversed the charge but makes me Leary about using them in the future.BECAUSE OF THE CREDIT I WOULD GIVE THEM 4 STARS
THE best auto repair shop in the SE! Mike & his team are beyond trustworthy & reliable. They do what they promise, every time. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else, & that includes the dealership. HIGHLY recommendable!
We have taken our cars to Mike for years when they were NAPA Premier Service Center and have always been satisfied with the service that we have received. Since they have become MMW the service has not changed. William is awesome! This is an honest shop that prices fairly and we can always depend on them to provide fast and expert service with a smile! It is hard to find a mechanic shop that hits all of the marks. This one wins hands down! Thank you!

2022-03-18Like many other new customers to True Automotive my experience was a very good one. My Audi A4 had all previous service done at the dealership . Dealer did good work, but at an exorbitant price. True exhibited all the professionalism that the new car dealer provides, but at a much fairer price. True did all the services I required in one day and delivered on time. I will recommend True to all my friends who are looking for a quality, honest car service center.

2022-02-17I drive a 2011 Audi S4 and not many people will touch my car for repairs, but TRUE Automotive took my car in and treated it exactly how I would treat someone elses car... with respect and care. These guys went above and beyond for me, and now I can confidently say that I have a home shop to bring my car to. They are completely knowledgeable in their work and what they do, and their prices for repairs are fair and not overpriced at all. I appreciate how this shop took photos and videos of all issues that they found with my car to keep things transparent. If theres an issue with your car, they will literally take photos and videos to show you what the issue is and explain the importance of needing the repair.. and they work with you to get it fixed. The quality control of this shop couldnt be more on point. Mr. Ford did an excellent job repairing my car and diagnosing issues. Tap was the best customer service representative that I have ever dealt with. I appreciate everyone over at TRUE Automotive for their great, honest work. I will and do recommend this shop to anyone, especially for your Audi care needs! I will spread the word about this shop to everyone I know. Beyond words, thank you all for everything! 2022-08-08Love these guys! Very local to the area, very knowledgeable, & importantly accommodating. Emily in the front made sure I received photos of repair process, and stayed well informed. She also helped me reschedule a filter replacement when the warehouse was being slow and made sure everything *else* was handled THAT DAY. Brayden was the mechanic who maintained my Honda and Im very pleased with his work. I will come here time and time again for great service at a community business!

He was very professional, patient, and proficient while explaining his diagnosis and the services provided. His professorial demeanor instilled the trust that most customers lack when dealing with expensive car repairs. In addition, Tap, service advisor, was just as professional and reassured his customer “me,” that my services were appreciated and ensured me that my vehicle was treated as priority #1. 2022-03-28Car engine mounts and ball joints replaced, spark plugs, wires & full tune-up. Alignment and new front tires. New front brake rotors and pads. Left turn signal bulb replaced. AC fixed, charged and interior air filter replaced. Fuel filter replaced. Great job. Car rides smoothly again and acceleration is nice and smooth. Braking is smooth, no vibrations. AC works great. Car is running and handling great! Very happy with service, updates, 1 week turnaround. Awesome!

2022-07-25My wife and I have used TRUE Automotive for several auto mechanical needs. They have great customer service and communication, but what I like most is that the TRUE team is trustworthy. When we bring our cars in I know theyll coveted the work correctly the first time. I cant recommend them enough.

2021-12-11I brought my car (2008 Mercury Grand Marquis) in for maintenance and it was a wonderful experience. They found some big things that were quietly deteriorating and would have been potentially dangerous. My control arms for both front wheels were bad. they replaced them in one day. Shortly after that, we discovered I needed a new transmission. It was expensive, but they provided different options (rebuilt or new). They provided recommendations, but ultimately, it was my decision with no pressure. Also, my differential joint was leaking, so we had to repair that. It was almost dry, i would have been stuck on the side of the road. I told them where I had been going for my regular oil change and car maintenance.John, the mechanic that worked on my car, told me that he never wants me to go back to that place. He was going to take care of my car from now on. Just like a doctor who gets to know you, he now knows my car inside out.Not only that, but they are friendly, kind, knowledgeable and teach the customer about the parts of the car. They take you out to the garage to actually see what is wrong. When I had to pay for the transmission, they helped me to arrange financing through Car Credit.I am so glad to have a trustworthy garage near my house. It is so amazing. Also, they have pick up service if you need to go home while waiting on your car. They also have limited rental cars when the car needs to be in the shop for some time. Rob and Bill are the owners, and I feel like they are my friends. Everyone welcomes you when you walk in. They remember me. Love them.

2022-04-23I had to have a sensor and a thermostat replaced and discovered that my Mini Cooper dealership was closed. After searching the internet I found True Automotive-Marietta. I scheduled an appointment for the next day. They made all the repairs and had the car ready for pickup the same day. I even got a ride to and from my house. I was very impressed. 2022-06-02The big deal with True Automotive is that they are totally transparent in everything that they do. They are honest. I am fortunate to have a trusted friend who works there, Larry Hicks, who is a Christian and can be trusted. But the whole team there from the owners on down are a United team that prides themselves in honesty and treating everyone fairly.
