Must try Market Spice Tea! It has a touch of spices and cinnamon, plus caffeine! Super cute little shop. Friendly staff takes their time with you and helps you choose. You can get it with honey for sweetener or unsweetened. Refreshing alternative to just another cup of coffee. Fair prices. You can also buy the tea to go and brew at home. It’s like taking a little bit of Blue Ridge home. Easy to get in with wheelchairs.
I came in on February 15th, and I cant remember the name of the person who helped me, but they were SO kind and helpful! I have loved every flavor of tea that I purchased (almond oolong, citrus rooibos, Georgia peach, and royal red). I purchased the ingenious tea maker as well, and it has been awesome. Im already making a tea list for next time! 😊
I love this place! Every time im in here i try a different tea, theres just so much to choose from. They make them hot or iced. They sell different infused honeys and items to steep tea. They sell different sized bags of tea. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They even sell tea for ailments and inflammation❣️
They have an amazing tea selection. I had the turmeric latte the first time and the Georgia Pea tea the next day. My friend had a Masala Chai latte with coconut milk. It is a bargain at $2.40. The staff is delighfully cheerful, friendly and helpful. You can get nearly all tea hot, as a latte or iced. You can also buy loose tea to bring home. I bought a beautiful bone China mug because I couldnt resist it. Theyve got Starbucks bet hands down. Ill be back again.
Stopped in here to get a drink while waiting for a table at the restaurant next door and was pleasantly surprised! the inside store is incredibly cute and has a big variety of teas and prices are super reasonable. highly recommend the vanilla peach iced tea drink, it’s great :-)
The google picture doesnt look like the actual store?? Ive been here several times and always love it. They have a wide variety of teas and honey and tea products. Even though they were very busy, they were helpful as I wasnt buying a drink to consume but purchasing items for a gift. The tea prices are slightly high but well worth it for the quality. Highly recommend Tupelo Tea!
I drove here all the way from Copperhill to get the peach and vanilla tea and my family and I were so incredibly excited. We got there at about 5:10 and they were supposed to close at 6. We tried to walk in but the door was locked and when I called, they said that they closed at 5. I understand business being slow and maybe closing early because of that. But people like myself and my family rely on consistent business hours in order to plan our day properly. Either change the hours or don’t close early just because it is slow. There were employees inside and everything. The tea is always great but this was a huge disappointment.
The tea was good both times, but ‘Cass’ was one of the rudest retail personnel I have ever dealt with. Others in the building were discussing her rude behavior as well. Patrons were asking for recommendations and she was extremely agitated to have to assist; amongst other outbursts. While the tea I had during both visits was good, she ruined the atmosphere for more than just myself. Unfortunately, her attitude warranted my one star rating. Here’s to hoping she doesn’t run the business down in this wonderful mountain area of Blue Ridge. The rest of the shops had wonderful personnel! Stay away from Tupelo Tea if she is behind the counter.
I absolutely love Tupelo Tea! They have hundreds of different teas to choose from. I usually stick to what I normally drink, so I ordered an iced Earl Grey with a bit of honey. It was so good! The staff is also very welcoming and can answer any question that you may ask. Will definitely stop by again when I’m in the Blue Ridge area!!
Holy cow. Id been wanting to visit this place since the last time I spotted it in Blue Ridge. So right before a vacation in Blue Ridge, I got a severe sore throat. I went to Tupelo Tea with the feeling that someone would be able to prescribe something for me. Sure enough, I told a staff member my symptoms, and she recommended a tea right away. My sore throat was gone in a few hours, but beyond that, the tea selection is amazing, from tropical flavors to bonfire flavors.
The tea is okay but the staff could do with some lessons in customer service. The attitude comes across of they are doing you a favor by serving you a cup of tea.I was admonished when I wanted to look at a teapot, despite owning some teapots that cost more than their weekly wage, and I could not hold it to look at.Then when the teas came, I was not greeted pleasantly when I enquired which one had less milk so that I could ensure that my young sons tea was not too hot and they completely dismissed us at that point. To add insult to injury, both cups of tea were tossed as they were so bitter, despite excessive sweetener, they were undrinkable. As much as I love tea and Blue Ridge, I will be sure to not to patronize their establishment again.
Haute tea shop with large selection of tea in interactive space. DH got one of their special iced blends with rose & strawberries (delicious!) and I got a masala chai latte which I thought could of used a stronger base or longer steep as it seemed drowned in the milk. Wish they had dine-in options as part of enjoying tea is being able to pause/be social and it would be lovely to sit and have a cup in an actual mug with a friend and the big windows.
I spent from 4AM till 2PM either in a plane or car. I was dehydrated and tired, the gals really know their stuff and reccomended teas that would perk me up. My mother and I asked many questions and if you need to know about a tea they can tell you all about it. Im from MI and really wish a tea house would open up there that would be as high qaulity as this shop.Update : couldnt find another blend like their Energy Mate tea, had to have it now that Im back in MI! Shipped quickly and they even included a handwritten note on how to serve it cold!
Absolutely horrid customer service. After not seeing a sign that asked customers to ask for assistance upon looking at items on shelves, the lady behind the counter screamed across the store instead of approaching us. Needless to say, all other customers in the store stopped shopping to stare at us. Never going to give this store or company my business. Ever.

2022-05-02This was my first time trying Tupelo! Get the Vanilla Peach Iced Tea! It is ridiculously refreshing and decently priced too. The candy apple tea is also really good. I get it sweetened with Agave! I’m so sad we don’t have one in Tampa, where I’m from. I would be a regular. 🤣

2022-05-19They offer tea to take home as well as drinks to buy in store. The 2 girls working were super patient, nice, and helpful to my friends and I today. The place is very clean and well kept. It would be nice if they added some tables/chairs to sit at inside! :)

2022-04-07If I could give a zero, I would . 3 High School Girls not paying attention to my Wife. Treated Her horribly. Even made a call hoping treatment of Consumers would change. Refused to serve Tea to a disabled Person outside and then Girl with a beanie and pigtails was condescending in treatment and felt She needed to school meOn how long Tea takes to heat up. Thank you but I’m 60Well educated and know how long Tea takes toHeat up. Ridiculous the whole transaction. I’d hire People who care about customers . Since I’m a local, would never frequent this place again. I think paying 3 People who couldn’t be bothered to serve a disabled Person outside said it all period. I was surprised to learn that this Company is owned by the Blue Ridge Oil Company. I like their treatment of Customers. Too bad really.
