Average experience - came in for a café mocha, asked for a small was given /charged for a large. Tasty though.Ordered deli sandwich to go - chicken salad. Tasty as well. Asked for provolone cheese. Kinda skimpy pieces and didnt seem any thought was put into making the sandwich because cheese was kinda in one spot.Ambiance is OK nothing really stands out as unique.Prices seem a little high generally.
What a lovely find this was! Truly delightful and worth a visit, despite being a bit pricey for lunch. We enjoyed the tomato Fondu and two of the specials offered that afternoon: gyro on a salad (and they were not stingy with the gyro meat!) and Cuban sandwich. In addition to traditional ice tea, they also had a green unsweetened tea with mint that was wonderful. We left full and made plans to go back! It felt like a Cafe with an appreciation for good food and not a chain.
LOVED finding this hidden gem! Its practically unheard of to find a restaurant that has been around for 15 years! Tuscany Cafe and Bistro has been operating for that long!! Lovely outdoor seating and pleasant dining room. The owner (I think) waited on us and took great care. The food is amazing. The list of daily specials is almost as long as the whole menu. The decisions were difficult. The seafood pasta was delicious, as was the crab cake and the Cuban sandwich. Plenty of choices for picky eaters or to statisfy a group. Many regulars were dining when we were there recently. They have a small wine and beer list and delicious desserts. We are excited to return for a leisurely Saturday lunch (and look forward to take-out for evenings when we dont feel like cooking). GREAT spot in a lovely neighborhood. We will definitely go back!!
I’ve eaten here a few times. The owners are very polite and friendly. The restaurant is very clean. It’s an absolute pleasure to eat here. They have pretty good food. Also, their drinks are pretty good. If you want a relaxed meal, with friendly staff, check this place out. They have a pretty cool little outside area with umbrellas too.
Been coming here for a few years now. Easily accessible from greenway. Salmon and spinach salad is consistently delicious. Fresh, perfectly balanced. Grouper sandwich is another fave. Soups are also quite good. Chicken with lemon and orzo, perfect on a chilly day. The service is always great-- everyone is courteous, attentive, and good-natured. And quick! Ambience is charming both inside and out. Love sitting out on their patio, park and pond across the street. Wish Alpharetta had more restaurants with such reliable quality and service.
The food here is amazing the owner is just the sweetest thing you ever encounter. I did take away one star because one of her particular server never give the correct price and Im not for certain if she doesnt know or shes trying to make you comfortable with the price and therefore by the time you get the bill youre always shocked. I will say this food is on the high end of pricing so just have that expectation in mind. But the food is well worth the price. I had her Seafood Pot Pie and it was so delicious I wanted a second one. If you try her place of business you will not be disappointedEdit to add: i had to give them the one star back because one time didnt equate to their amazing food and over all customer service!! Seriously try this place you will not be disappointed!
Good service. Very large menu, they have a large daily board Of specials. I ordered the pear and Brie quiche which was very nice and the tomato bisque soup was yummy. We also ordered the chicken Caesar wrap which was good but not outstanding. We will definitely go back this is a cute little restaurant tucked into a nice little area. The Ambiance is sweet and their desserts look fantastic.
The husband didnt like it at all, he had the the daily special. It was cooked to perfection, but the flavors didnt match up. Mine was good a little on the greasy side though. Also our drinks were way too strong. Our server was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy as well. We came like an hour before they were closing, maybe that had something to do with it. I wouldnt mind going back and trying it again, but my husband isnt.
This place is fantastic. Great food. Friendly and attentive staff. And quite frankly some of the best sandwiches you will ever put in your belly. My favorites are the Reuben, the Cuban and the Roasted Lamb. Now like all restaurants that serve fresh food, not everything is available all the time. Thats okay though because everything is delicious.
Definitely not an experience that can be offered from a coffee shop franchise. Basically was on the hunt for good coffee, but couldnt resist the menu. Had a house special, dont remember the name of the dish, but it had salmon, spinach, potatoes and maple. It was simply delicious. The desserts selection is also tasty. The coffee was not exactly what I was looking for, but still not bad at all. Added to my list and definitely will go again, soon.
Fantastic fresh food. We love this spot because of its amazing food quality, locally sourced ingredients and friendly, family-owned atmosphere. We are loyal customers for over 7 years now. My main advice is to try it at least twice... once for lunch once for dinner. It is like going to two different restaurants!
Our family loves Tuscany. The food is wonderful. You can order from a menu or the blackboard (which is filled with delicious choices). My husbands favorite is the fried Grouper sandwich. You get a choice of a side salad with your order and the iced tea, both regular and green mint are delicious. The service is warm and friendly. A delightful spot for lunch.
I go here all the time. The owners even know my name. They are very friendly - especially Rebecca. The food is fresh, all made from scratch. And Ive never had a bad meal. Lunch is my favorite time to go - although Ive had their breakfast too and its awesome.Save room for dessert. Head chef and owner makes them from scratch too. I beg for his chocolate chip cookies. But Ive also been spoiled by his chocolate croissants, apple pie, chocolate mousse cake, and others too numerous to list. Ooh, there was a berry cobbler once that was amazing. In the Fall, watch out for his Butternut squash soup - its amazing.
I couldnt believe how rude the server was. If not for her compete lack of customer service skills, I would give the place 4 stars. The only real downside is the price, but everything in that area is pricey. My salad was tiny and the greens were definitely not fresh. It was $12 for the jerk salmon salad (for lunch). The salmon was awesome, but when I told the server the salad wasnt fresh she scowled at me and told me it was. Im not just saying there were a few old, mushy parts or arugula and spinach (which there were). The romaine was dry and wilted. It wasnt the biggest problem, but still, I dont know how hey thought it was okay to serve to customers, especially for that price. I just wanted her to bring me some different lettuce, but she literally turned around and walked away while I was trying to talk to her. It was like she was a cocktail waitress at a dive bar, I couldnt believe it.
Felt like we were in Tuscany. We discovered this hidden gem when we were searching for a place to eat pasta. This place didnt disappoint us. Soup of the day was good and both pasta dishes tested good as well. Despite Saturday evening it wasnt crowded and we enjoyed our time. I will recommend this place for Italian food cravings.
I had a pretty daring moment. I entered a deli and fancied jambalaya! Yes, theres jambalaya on the menu made with linguine pasta, no rice nor sausage (not sure if its still considered jambalaya). In other words, its not Cajun style. Granted, its a Tuscany cafe so I didnt expect a true jambalaya. There are a few other pasta dishes but dont get too excited; the menu is primarily gourmet sandwiches and salads. Thankfully, I wasnt let down w/ the jambalaya. Of all places to go - this is better than the immediate Italian cafeterias. Its not saying much but save a trip to the much more expensive, impersonating little Italy spots. I say this is better than those noisy, hectic places. Unfortunately, theres not a variety - sandwiches, sandwiches, pasta, steak, sandwiches. On the bright side, its super quiet and located in a clean neighborhood square cornered by trees and mid-rise buildings. Its very cosmopolitan! Theres parking in front of the cafe, no need to pay. Plenty of good vibes here, try it out.
HAIR!We loved the place and used to visit all of the time, as our office was right across the street. I returned hoping for the same experience (years later) only to be underwhelmed. As the staff remembered me, I made a point not to complain, still pay (and tip) but to let them know it just wasnt the same. As Im packing the remainder of my food in the to-go box I not a very long blonde hair in the food. I make it known to the manager who proceeds to say so do you no longer want the sandwich? I quickly reply absolutely not she says thanks, have a nice day and walks off, not even an apology nor any effort to rectify the problem. I feel badly for the server for not tipping, but I was originally under the impression that someone wouldve fixed the problem, not just sent me on my way. I will not be back and will recommend that all of the friends ( that I have previously referred) do the same! Still cant believe it!
Food and price point were fantastic, as well as the location less than a five minute drive from my office (which is directly off 400), but I probably wont go for lunch with coworkers again because of how much time it took to get my food. Ill definitely go back again - just not when I have a time limit.
Mediocrity at its best on a beautiful Friday night!Drink selection: I asked about other Italian red wines, besides the single one they have on the menu. I was corrected by the server: We are European, not ItalianWait, what? As far as I remember, Tuscany is a region in Italy and it says Tuscany above the door....possible name change in the future? Also, majority of your wines are from California and Australia. So, come again?!The food selection: I started ordering the Mussels as appetizer and then Bucatini Pasta. We are out of Mussels, but we have Mussels in the Seafood PastaHmmm, no mussels - Caesar salad instead.Gotten some nice warm bread, one white roll and one dark roll. After a few minutes, we asked about another 2 white rolls. Those are sourdough, I was corrected again.I apologize, I must not have seen the label on the rolls, neither the Sysco box where you probably got em from.Food - was alright, easily forgettable flavors and presentation. But, 4 shrimp on a knotted bamboo pick (most expensive skewers out there) and I get a aluminum spoon with my pasta which reminds me of a college cafeteria and doesnt even match the rest of the silverware.Well, Im glad there are better restaurants out there.

2022-01-16Wonderful café with good food options and helpful service. Was impressed with the cleanliness, especially during COVID-19. The breakfast options were good but would like to come during summer to try the lunch menu out on the patio.

2022-05-14I went looking for a new restaurant and stumbled across this tucked away cafe. It is amazing! So good that I went back the very next day and will probably keep going regularly. The food is all so good, freshly made with quality, healthful ingredients. The dishes are hearty and filling while at the same time feeling light. The atmosphere is really nice inside and out (beautiful patio!) and the service is extremely friendly and competent. Its my new favorite place.

2022-05-26This food is soooo good! Different specials every week, and not just a few, but a lot! Im almost tempted not to write about Tuscany Cafe because its my sweet, cozy secret. This place makes you feel like youre at a little bistro in Europe! The service isnt fast so be patient because the food is so worth it!

2022-03-19Love this place, outside seating is amazing, can get very busy for lunch, but the service is relaxed and considerate. I have had a few things here but I tried the Blackened Salmon Salad. It comes with spinach, toasted pecans, blue cheese crumbles and tomatoes, I chose the soy ginger dressing. Best thing I’ve had on the menu *chefs kiss👌🏻
