The only good thing about this place is the availability of boxes. Always have to wait a long time since there are never enough employees. Each transaction takes forever! Go somewhere else if possible

Very clean and had hand dolly’s available for use.
Glad I was able to get a storage here..but why is there a huge ant mound right in front ..checked the other day..ants crawling all over inside my boxes. Dont want my stuff damaged by ants..
Wow! This is the best U-Haul Ive ever been to! Was well staffed at the time and got in and out without any issues. They had everything from local in-house storage, biggest selection of rentable moving trucks, and big selection of small items needed to help someone move.
The customer service is despicable and don’t expect to get your rental without 10 phone calls and going to the store multiple times. Extremely displeased. Would never wish this experience on anyone else.

We needed a trailer Aaron was an absolute professional and helped ensure the trailer was properly hooked up and ready for the road. Very veteran friendly establishment. Means a lot to an old guy.
I was able to walk in and get the truck I needed without a reservation. In and out quickly.
HIGHLY not recommended they don’t even answer the phone AT ALL we was waiting 20 minutes still no answer. Nobody is that busy AT ALL !!
I use uhaul a lot since I’ve moved 3 times in the past 4 years. Today I was absolutely disappointed and unhappy with the service I received, I went to Albany Ga to get the uhaul equipment and didn’t have any issues. When I came to Columbus Ga is when it began, I went to the appropriate location and it was closed, so I went to another uhaul location, 2500 Airport Thruway, Columbus Ga 31904. My fiancé and I and both women mind you, with a 6x12 trailer on our truck, we asked could we drop it off at the location he said no and had a very rude and uninviting demeanor, he said if we left it we would be charged double, we went back to the original location called the help number and she was able to change the location with a $0 charge, which means the white guy with the bun who was working at 6pm was just lazy and didn’t want to do his job, those are not the type of people that should be working there. Moving is hard enough then have to be talked to rudely and not helped after a long day adds insult to injury I hope he is reprimanded and talked to for his nasty attitude. This makes us not want to ever use uhaul again left a very foul taste in our mouths.
The customer service here is either feast or famine. A couple of weeks ago the place was filled with people who werent customers...one person rang me up and the other helped me load my boxes in the car.When I went today, there was only 1 person who did acknowledge me when I came in because she was busy checking a truck in but then she admittedly forgot I was there because she proceeded to clean the truck and parked it some 20 or 25 minutes later.Good thing I did have some boxes I needed at home already next time Ill try somewhere else with better customer service practices...
Need a ball and hitch and Devon was a HUGE HELP. Could not have gotten things up and trucking for my truck with out his help. These are the employees/ people that should be running the business. Thank you U haul for having such amazing people at this location. This guy is most definitely should be the GM for this area. Give this man a pay raise.

Dont bother making online reservations in advance. Your truck still wont be ready on time.Folks, bring the trucks back on time okay. The world doesnt revolve around you & other people are waiting to rent the truck that you have.Uhaul needs gps trackers on their trucks & towing equipment.Update:. Im updating the stars since the general manager here took time to resolve an issue another office failed to fix.

I was having some issues with getting keys to new place and I let uhaul know I needed it for longer time and they were the best and 1 of the bright spots of my day. The General Manager Tiffany, no matter how busy, great customer service. Derrick was there when I turned my truck in at almost closing, his customer service skills, were impeccable as well. If I ever need any storage needs its will be this uhaul here. Ill wait until they get what I need. Thank You Thank You👏🏾💯
If I could give this place negative stars I would. Some people need to be held accountable and fired for their negligence. Customer service is terrible, the people that work there have no regard for work ethic, sit at the desk and talk away. They gave us a truck which blew up within 15 miles at the most of travel. Differential fluid leak, the back seized up, no transmission fluid when checked. My wife had scoliosis surgery with rods, my daughter has scoliosis. The truck seized up multiple times causing them to take serious whiplash injury. Then we waited 3 to 4 hours to be towed. They told us at first we could load at the house, then it was changed to uhaul location. The towing company can confirm this as he was angry over it. Then we were told dont worry there will be a fan and we will get a bay. Nope, in the blazing sun, they waited until 1pm to let us load. Ever been working in the sun at 1pm in GA and AL? Yeah, it was terrible, one of the guys helping nearly fainted, good thing I was a medic in the Army. Then we were called and they acted like it wasnt a big deal that my wife got hurt. Normally, Im the last person to get upset over things going wrong. But when my wife and daughter were injured in the process, thats where I draw the line. Theyre lucky I didnt get on the phone, but I didnt out of sheer belief that it was better for me to not get on that phone. If you rent a uhaul from this place check transmission fluid, brakes, the rear differential for leak, oil, breaks. You MUST do this because YOU could lose your life with their negligence. I worked in the Army for 8 years. We staged our vehicles and we maintenence them every Monday. Somebody or multiple people ARENT doing their job. The few times that Ive been there I saw nobody working, just b.sing. There is no regard for your loved ones lives or your belongings. Tread carefully if you decide to use this place. There are many better options than this, trust me.

Just recently they have put up cones in their parking lot turning into the parking lot where people used to cut through in front of the circle K going in to Taco Bell. Their No tresspassing sign is far back off of the road. Common sense would tell them to move the sign visible to the driveway or to move the trucks blocking the entrance so people would know. Tonight we truned in and was turning around because we didnt know until we pulled in. A employee runs out yelling with a VERY rude attitude instead of politely letting us know. Being in customer service this was NO way to speak to anyone and I wouldnt dare speak to anyone in that manner at work. Fix the issue in the parking lot so people would know or fix your employees mouth. I will never give this place my business.

This should be the only Uhaul you rent from if you live in the area. Very helpful and friendly. I originally scheduled a truck in Pine mountain and was redirected to LaGrange a few days later due to availability. Got to the LaGrange location to find out they did not have the blankets I ordered. They were slow to fulfill the order and were quite organized. Finally had to drive all the way to Columbus for blankets and this store was on top of it. Even loaded the car for me.

We made a May 27th 10:30 am reservation for a truck and an appliance Dolly a week ago. When we arrived, we were told that they had a truck but the appliance dollies that were on site (6 of them) were not registered in their system. As a result, we had to stand and wait in the store while watching five other customers arrive, sign contracts, and drive away with trucks. We had to wait over an hour for what we reserved a week ago.

2022-05-14I had posted a previous review about great service even after their cancelation of the installment due to new hitch delivery being delayed 3 times. However, I bought my bike trailer, went to add it to the hitch and found the hitch was not new. It is rusted, scraped and not new even though I paid for a new one. I took the van back, showed Aaron the hitch and he was going to replace it with a new, out of the box, which he showed me. 2 hours later I get a call from Jeff, saying I would have to pay for labor, a new hitch and nothing was covered under the lifetime warranty. I have called to speak to the district manager multiple times and he has been unavailable. I have left several messages. I will continue to pursue this issue. Pictures show this is not a new hitch. Very dissatisfied.

2022-07-13On july 13, 2022, i was the men in the burgundy shirt and yellow shoe, my family crew came here to move our stuff from out the storage’s and when we loaded the 20 ft truck we rented and went to get gas from across the street we paid $60 for the tank for the 20ft truck, and as we was pumping the gas tank ALL THE GAS CAME RIGHT OUT! A Puddle of gas on the floor that we just paid for other floor now, so we brought it back to the location again and told the front office what happen, they said there was a cut from the gas pipes so we asked them for a refund on the gas we just put in and the uhaul truck rentin days since the truck cant hold no gas, they only did 2 extra days on $50 on gas, so then we have to unload the truck and load it again.

2022-08-04Happy with the hitch installation on my Hyundai Sante Fe. I was able to leave my SUV overnight to have it installed the next day due to my work schedule. The staff were very friendly and informative about the hitch and wire warranty. I plan to pull my kayaks on a trailer soon. My husband was pleased with the price of labor and materials of $417.

2022-08-09Nightmare!!! Total Mess…I went to U-Haul and reserved a 15’ one-way moving rental truck with my credit card.Aaron Tufte, Mgr. was pleasant and when I informed him I had two men flying in from Houston costing me $300 one-way, he reassured me the truck would be available that Saturday. To be assured there would be a truck for me, I stopped by U-Haul several times that week and was continually reassured there would be a truck available Saturday.Saturday morning we went to pick up the truck and was told there were no trucks available.Since the men only had the weekend to move me, I had to buy them a return ticket to Houston.Why did U haul guarantee me a truck? They should’ve contacted me when they saw they wouldn’t be able to fulfill my request.U-Haul has poor Customer Service, I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone.Shirley Joslin

2022-08-07It is good place storage needs are met well, however if you need to checkout it may be at minimum a 20 minute wait. Everytime they 1 ir 2 cashier but they dont have one for people who are making quick purchases ue bixes, tape etc.

2022-05-29Did not honor the reservation I made at that store. Not sure what the point of walking in there and picking out the trailer I needed was if my reservation was more of a suggestion than an actual reservation. Now have to find a trailer same day when the point of me making a reservation early was to not have to do this the day of my move

2021-10-23Rented U-boxs back in March when I was moving over a short period of time. Was definitely a hassle and although seemed cheaper initially turned out to be more expensive then just getting a storage facility. When I did get them moved to GA, this particular facility was not that good. No one ever answers the phone, when you go in you wait for forever and they seem very unorganized. I will say Jeffrey was extremely pleasant and helpful!
