I have visited so many different USPS offices, but this one is one of the best based on the service they provided. I had to mail a package. I was in an out within a few minutes! The lady was friendly and efficient. I dont mind coming back to this post office again.

Man but are the head folks at this place rude. I had trouble once with my mail not getting to my home correctly after a move and it was just a horrible experience trying to get it all fixed. Most of the people at the counters are nice, but you get above them and they could care less about you even if they are creating havoc for your business or your life. No joke, and no other options.

On Wednesday, 02/02/2022, I was at the Post Office in 30117 Carrollton, GA, to drop off several prepaid packages to different receivers in multiple US States. When being asked, I truthfully declared that the contents of the packages contained shotguns, unloaded, and no ammunition in the boxes. The teller said The Post Office doesnt accept weapons for transportation.. I was mentioning Publication 52 - Hazardous, Restricted, and Perishable Mail > 4 Restricted Matter > 43 Firearms > 432 Mailability > 432.3 Rifles and Shotguns, where under sub-paragraph d. it clearly states Rifles and shotguns may be mailed by a non-FFL owner domestically to a FFL dealer, manufacturer, or importer in any state. The teller was not interested in any reasoning and did not read the provided printout of the publication, so I asked for a Manager. I was forwarded to Greta Gamble-Johnson, a supervisor who had USPS tag which was expired in 2019. Again, I stated my request and produced the mentioned publication. Mrs. Gamble-Johnson was not interested in the written rules either, did not read it, and every time I pointed out the obvious text of her own rulebook, all I got as an answer was multiple times We do NOT accept firearms here for shipping and You need to have a license and show your paperwork first. I also asked her to involve her next manager, she went to the back office and came back literally 10 seconds later, saying that the Postmaster of the office confirmed that they are not accepting any firearms for shipping. I was denied the opportunity to speak to the Postmaster him/herself, and was threatened to leave the premises immediately. An official complaint with the USPS Postal Inspector has been filed.

I really appreciate the staff and Mr. JOEY. Has been very helpful and wonderful to work with. Over 15 yrs. When I was returning back to Germany. He made sure that all my zip code, labeling was correct. It was a blessing to know that you could trust in him. Great job well done Mr.Joey takes pride in your mail. Thanks for all that you do for others.

Ive always had a great experience here at my local post office. I dont know what a review will do, because if you need to go to the post office... then you need to go to the post office. But Ive received prompt service. Everyone there has been nice and helpful. I cant disagree with any negative reviews as I wasnt there, but they do surprise me because after a decade or more of going here Ive yet to have a bad experience.

I would like to give this post office zero stars. I have lived and got mail in Newnan, LaGrange, even on a cruise boat while working on a cruise ship, and never had so much bad customer service from the postal service. When we moved to the city 4 months ago we did a change of address form at the post office immediately. We kept receiving pounds of mail from the previous tenants. And our mail was getting lost in it and having BIG question marks on the front even as we were writing changed address/wrong address on the others mail and putting it back in the box to which the mail lady was leaving it our box and not taking it. So I put a sticker with our names in our box and took the tag out the box to let the post lady know who were only living here at our address. She put the tag back in with the old tenants name and our name and a note saying leave alone old tenants mail and dont touch her tag or we wont get mail. I put my sticker back in with a note saying leave my property alone and she took it off. I put another sticker in with my name but super glued it and she left it as I left her tag. I have not received much of my mail including important documents from IRS and DDS or coupons. I had to go to the post office twice to get them to get her to acknowledge the others dont live here and change her damn tag and stop leaving pounds of the others mail in my box. And looking for my important documents to which the supervisor called her up and addressed her and girl then said since I was standing there she would let me know my mail was states to be incorrectly addressed by the post lady with a wrong apartment number as if I am stupid and dont know my own address. Which was a lie. I confirmed with DDS that they did have the right address. They are resending my licenses with my changed address. I had to go to DDS and do the process of getting my license twice after moving here because of this spiteful postal carrier lady. These postal workers are trifling incompetent lunatics. The culture is all wrong and lending to horrible customer service. Need better leadership and new carriers. We went back to DDS who confirmed our address were not written incorrectly the first time. We have received a change of address confirmation in the mail today that is 4 months late from the old residents changing address. And we called the post office and they said it appeared we wrote our address wrong on our new address form which is a lie!Update: A week later my heat has been disconnected because I never received my bills in the mail. Now I have to wait for a scheduled reconnection and have no hot water for cooking or getting ready for work. I confirmed the heat provider has the correct address to have cut on my heat and cut it off but the mail carrier who has the correct address from the heat provider has not been putting my bills in my apartment box. This is an absurd mail carrier claiming I dont know my own address and have given the wrong one to the senders of my mail. Carrolton must be where crazy mail carriers get away with crazy bad customer service despite having a government job. Every one that handled this situation for me at the office and the carrier should be fired for the harm they caused and allowed. We changed our address last week the same day months after the last tenants move that very late we received a change of their address confirmation. We received an immediate confirmation of our address change today less than a week after we changed it and three months of not receiving our mail the same day our gas was cut off today Tuesday 05/11/21.There are not enough expletives to describe how appalled, angered, indignant I am that this problem has been going on for others for years before we moved here. No leadership to stop it. For us our first 4 months to the city causing our family unnecessary stress and loss thats for a quarter of a year some welcome. Hateful and spiteful service.06/01 no licenses still third trip to DMVChanged address still receiving mail from old tenants and now coupons again

I called the Carrollton Post Office this morning (June 1) right as they opened and was greeted by a lovely woman who was kind, understanding, and an overall delight to speak with. I am not even from Carrollton, but had a hiccup with some Mail, but I would love to offer my 5 star feedback to this post office. The negative reviewers simply don’t have any patience or understanding of the magnitude of our Mail system, it seems. :/

Had a driver decide that since he forgot to deliver 2 of my packages today he would just say that he couldn’t because he was too lazy to walk back upstairs once he found them in his truck, he did however bring 3 packages to my door. 2 of which were so small they could have easily fit in my mailbox.

Avoid this post office if you can. We consistently have packages saying delivered. That aren’t being delivered. Then 1-3 days later they’ll stick the note in the mailbox saying they attempted delivery 1-3 days before. Contacted the post office and I’m told that the carrier isn’t doing what they are supposed to. This has been going on for over a month with more than 2 packages being completely lost. This is the worst post office I’ve ever deslt with. Is no one checking to see if anyone is doing their job? A delivery person isn’t doing deliveries right and no one notices that? Poor work ethic and even worse management to not know what’s going on in their offices.

This is a nightmare called an American federal service. The Carrollton post office is run by illiterates who keep returning my mails. It doesnt even fit to be a part of the United States. Third Worlds are better than this.
