I don’t understand how these sorry people stay open. I gave the man a letter ( very important) to send off almost 2 weeks ago. I get a call saying they never received it. Literally what happen? Did you just not put it in the send off box? Everyone has an attitude and act like they don’t wanna work. They really need to shut this place DOWN. It’s beyond terrible and the customer service is NON EXISTENT! No stars if I could.
If I could rate this place zero stars I would. Was scheduled at 11:45 for passport application. Get there and 6 people still have not been seen Bc she went to lunch for 2 hours. Why let you schedule an appointment when there won’t be anyone there? Absolutely terrible.
There’s been a couple times where it has stated that they were unable to deliver my package because they didn’t have access.. my neighborhood does not have a gate and this should not keep happening when you can access my home two different ways... then it says held at post office upon customers request on a Friday. The package said it was to be delivered by 9 and when it didn’t come i checked the tracking. Now I have to wait till Monday to pick it up. I DID NOT REQUEST IT TO BE HELD AT THE POST OFFICE.
This postal site is by far the worst I’ve ever had to deal with. They never pick up mail or ship mail on time. I’ve had to experiences where I’ve placed mail inside the drop box in my apartment complex only to have it still not delivered to its destination a week later. Doesn’t make sense that if my mom mails me something from Alabama I get in 3 days, but if I mail her something it’s a week and 2 days later am she still hasn’t received it. I’ve even spoken with the site Supervisor and that still hasn’t helped so I’m making a complaint with the customer service center. Glad I don’t pay any bills via mail and I feel sorry for anybody who does.
5 months from original comment and things are not better. Yesterday, I received the Amazon app alert that my package had been delivered to my mailbox by USPS. Walk to the box, no package and no way to report it so the driver can turn around and get it. Next day, a different package. Got a notice that they couldn’t get to the driveway or front door so they didn’t deliver. Flat out lie. I’ve been sitting at my desk 20 feet from the door all day. Driveway, mailbox, and front door, all accessible. I don’t even know what to say... :(Original Comment: Went to drop off a heavy pre-paid return package. A nice lady got a cart for us. That was the only good thing about this experience. Never having returned a pre-paid shipment, we wheeled it over to the prepaid area and asked the clerk if we were supposed to leave it there. She replied, “That works for me”. Looking back we now realize that was just a rude response. The package wasn’t scanned at the facility, is now missing and we may well be out of over $200. Just this past week USPS lost a package coming to me for over a week. After much digging around online, I managed to find a search request page, submit it, and managed to receive the item yesterday. They also repeatedly deliver our mail to the wrong street and we receive our neighbors mail. It’s getting to the point that I no longer want to shop online.
Was suppose to receive a package and it never showed up. The tracking says delivered but yet I do not have my package. Ive called them twice. The first day I called the lady I spoke with was extremely nice but told me that the carrier was not available and his substitute was in. Also that he may have left it....how do you leave it??? Second day I called, I was on hold for 30 minutes. The lady I spoke to seemed to have a slight attitude. I told her I called yesterday and spoke to someone who told me to call back if I had not received my package. She said well if it says its delivered there is nothing they can do. Im not understanding why someone would leave a package in front of a door instead of leave a note stating no one was home and they will retry delivery on another day or to come and pick it up at the post office. Common sense am I right? Very frustrated experience. New steps and protocols need to be in place because this is ridiculous.
We have had multiple instances of this post office either not delivering our packages while still marking them as Delivered or marking the status of our deliveries as Delivery Attempted too early when our hours are posted on the doors of our business and not leaving any kind of note in our mail box or on our doors. These missed deliveries result in us missing deliveries of supplies important to our business and impacting productivity. More often then not we have to call the post office directly to figure out where our deliveries actually are, wasting more time.(Update) After waiting a few hours for their return phone call and never receiving it (like my package) I decided to call them back myself. I was told they just deliver early in the morning and that our package will arrive tomorrow. Still no attempt was made because no instructions were left on our door or mail box nor was there an attempt by the employee to fix my issue. Our regular postman has even told us that the weekend employees get lazy and just mark packages as Delivered when they never attempted to deliver it in the first place. I was pretty much just told that I was tough out of luck. Unacceptable customer service.
Good luck if you ever want packages on time. Ive lost count of how many items are delivered a day or more late. Or marked as delivery attempted despite a delivery never being attempted. Worst post office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Plenty of nice drivers, but just as many snarky ones who dont even appear to have any interest in doing their job. My delivery loacation is literally 2 minutes from the post office yet my packages are consistently placed on the wrong truck what an absolute joke.
The US Postal center located at 60 Postal Pkwy in Newnan Ga is horrendous‼️‼️‼️I’ve always had issues trying to get my packages delivered to me without an issue. I’ve lived in Newnan for four years now. It’s gotten to the point where I just don’t order anything or any package that has to be delivered by the US Postal Service. We’ve never had an actual mail carrier employed by the USPS. It’s always been someone who has the appearance like they were out on work release and had to be back at a certain time. I’ve had to reorder shoes, credit cards, and car accessories just to name a few things that the USPS said they’d delivered and I never got. The carrier lied and said they attempted to deliver one package at 3:40pm but never knock on the front door. My wife and I were both home. Yet the carrier reported that they tried to leave the package and no one was at home. The apt complex that I live in even started a sign petition going around to get better service. But as yet with no avail. The service is so bad that my wife and I are moving to a different county so that we will get better service.
Brought my package to my house but failed to drop it off. After that, they decided to dispose of my package, which was a bathing suit. Ive opened a case; never heard back. Ive been given number after number yet I cant get in touch with anyone. This has happened numerous times; packages will be brought to my house but never actually delivered. Ridiculous.
I rarely ever right reviews, but I felt I really needed to on this one. I called to check about a package delivery reschedule and the lady said that there would be no mail delivery due to weather and then hung up! So rude! I’m sorry, but a “you’re welcome and have a nice day” would have been nice when I said “thank you”! Absolutely nothing, just hung up! 😡
So almost every single package that I am supposed to get never even makes it to my house. Theyre ALWAYS leaving the slip in my mailbox that says dog. Yes there is our next door neighbors dog that from time to time likes to come in our yard. But they must be blind because this dog is old and crippled...not to mention he wouldnt even hurt a fly. The FedEx people NEVER have a problem with leaving our packages on our front porch... theyre also not lazy like the USPS either. Yesterday, once again, I had a slip in my mailbox that said dog. Well my security cameras at my home proves that they never even pulled into my driveway. Why? Oh, because theyre lazy. So I have to use up MY time in MY busy schedule to go to the post office and wait in a ridiculously long line, to pick up MY packages that I paid shipping for to have them delivered to MY home. I once found my packages thrown in the dirt on the corner of my driveway with the words dog written on my packages. Cmon USPS...grow some balls and tell your carriers to stop being so damn lazy...and I know its laziness because they do this to so many other people. I hear about it too often. It ridiculous.
I would put 0 stars if I could. I own a business I deal with USPS frequently but I guess I will no longer go to this location! One of the employees sent my package to the wrong address. They put the wrong zip code. Even though it was written correctly on the package!They are trying to make ME pay for the interception fee. Even though it was at fault to the EMPLOYEE. I will not be bringing any business to this location further.
Move to a Newnan apartment complex and since then no mail with a USPS tracking number has arrived. The worst thing is when you check it online it says that the mail was delivered but is nowhere to be found. When asked at the Postal Office, their answer is we will look at it and then they call back that didn’t found the package and that I need to file a claim. It is frustrating because how I’m going to be able to receive my packages if they somehow get lost. If you’re moving to Newnan, be aware that this could happen to you.
****PEOPLE IF YOU ALL ORDER PACKAGES PLEASE LET FEDEX AND UPS HANDLE IT PLEASE******.....Because the Newnan Post office they are either Lazy, incompetent, or thieves I have been waiting on a package for three weeks that said delivered and then insufficient address. I then had it set for redelivery and have not seen all of my items. So I think someone there stole it.
The level of customer service at the postal center and with the package and mail delivery has really gone downhill. Even the grounds around the store front aren’t kept up like they should be. I recently called to inquire why mail delivery is running later in the day than usual. They mentioned a backlog due to the holidays. This is expected, but my mail hasn’t been being delivered until after 5:30pm most times, and this has been going on since August...well before the holidays. They also told me that “there was no set time for me to expect my mail delivery”. Well now, that’s always a great thing to say to smooth things over with your customers. Not a hint of “but we will try harder” or “we’re sorry for the inconvenience”. Just another example of how this government backed institution is failing even further.
Once again, my package was wrongly delivered to the subdivision down the road. Luckily the people who live there return my mail and packages as I also return their mail and packages. This happens weekly and has been going on for years. We notify each other when we are expecting more packages then usual in fact.At least twice a week I get my neighbors next door or down the street bills, mail, pension checks, bank statements, magazines and other important mail.Nothing has helped. Ive tried asking the delivery person, calling the post office and putting tracers on packages. I do as little as possible with the USPS NOW. THEY DO NOT CARE and take no accountability or pride I their work. If they werent in a USPS vehicle you wouldnt know they worked for the government...half of them look like they just rolled out of bed and came to work or are homeless.I dont wonder now how my identity and tax returns got stolen....the USPS delivered all my information to them in person!
Attempting to track down a package thats been delivered and left in a parcel locker that actually was not delivered and left in a parcel locker. After searching 20mins for a working phone number for this location, I decided to call the passport number. I have been on hold for over 15mins. The associate who answered the phone asked if I checked my mailbox for the locker key- I replied yes, twice. She then placed me on hold without asking for a name, address, or tracking number. Ive been on hold ever since. I understand its a busy time- but this isnt how issues are resolved. Customer service needs major improvement. When I made the phone call I wasnt upset, but now Im frustrated with the entire situation. I just want my package.
Just left there....apparently they’re accepting anyone at this location. Older white woman at the far left station, failed to educate me on how I needed to perform separate transactions in order to utilize my navy federal card. I had swiped it 2x.....then called my bank got back in line to return to the counter. She became very defensive and proceeded to throw out insults...”must be your first time using your card”...”I don’t go around asking what cards people are using”. I replied “it’s just a simple question” But from my professional experience “customer service” involves educating your customers. Which I don’t think she was capable of understanding. She’s probably better suited for just scanning groceries in a grocery store not being a knowledgeable clerk at the post office.
Packages continuously go missing making a claim is a joke because they don’t hold the people accountable for “misplacing” your packages! Either they do HORRIBLE business or are heavily employed with thieves. By the way no need in going to the local post office customer service is also HORRIBLE.
Seeing bad reviews on here, I guess Ive lucked out when Ive had issues. The couple of times I had issues, I always get someone on the phone or in person thats willing to help me resolve them. The facility is pretty nice. Its busy at times and that can make things slow but thats the nature of the beast.
This was the worst experienced Ive ever had to encounter at a post office! First off, I ordered a package that was over one week and still havent received it. The shipment was supposed to be delivered to a business and it never came. I drove to the post office requesting for tracking and this lady(who acted like she couldnt help anyone) insisted with this process. After I wrote down the tracking number for her she went to check then came back saying the people said it was already delivered. I said when?? She went back and checked and said on the date that was noted online and was placed in FRONT OF THE BUSINESS. Now can someone tell me ... if the business hours doesnt open until 10AM, why would you LEAVE SOMEONE PERSONAL PACKAGE in front of the door that has random people walk back and forth. It doesnt make any SENSE. I stayed calm because I knew it was not the lady fault but she got an attitude and said here, write down your business street. NOTE, when youre frustrated you try to write down the correct road or street as requested... she looked at me and said ... you dont know the street.. i replied can you give me a minute.. she then rolled her eyes and continued with her attitude. I then confronted her and asked ARE YOU HAVING A GOOD DAY!?... I told her Ill contact the supervisor as I left, and she said she was the supervisor. I dont think anyone should promote a human being that doesnt SHOW compassion with other HUMAN beings when help was being requested. She acted like ive never been to a post office and even if i didnt IT WAS HER JOB TO ACCESS me not get a freaking attitude. NEWNAN POST OFFICE MANAGEMENT, YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR EMPLOYEES ATTITUDE OR AT LEAST ALLOW A CUSTOMER SERVICE CLASS BEFORE HIRING. I am highly upset and disappointment. I should of requested who was the delivery person on that day because if you drop a package off youre supposed to request some kind of signature.. and not just throw the package in front of a business and expect for it to still be there.
I would have rate 0 star if possible. I ordered 50 masks from amazon, the seller shipped the product to me with USPS. When it shipped, there was no notification, and there was also no notification when it arrived. The package is missing and I have waited for a month. It turned out I can’t get a refund. I’m really really disappointed at USPS.
I take the time to go down to a the post office that is holding my package, which was supposed to be delivered on Sunday. Apparently I dont know my own address as they marked it down as undelivered (yet Ive received mail)Worst customer service ever... was 1st in queue and was asked to step aside to wait for them... waited 30 mins!! Before somebody spoke to me again! Then the cant find it...leaving disgusted. Would rate -5 stars if I could.
Rude, jaded people with all the efficiency you expect from big government. I have had a horrible postman experience , with mail lost and damaged, shoved into my box. I called to express concern as well as went in person and filled out a form to complain...nothing done.
Ive been a Newnan resident for 9 months now and so far my experience with this post office has been good. I have yet to see a post office that isnt understaffed! I moved here from a Chicago suburb of 65,000 people whose post office was pathetic- 2 employees at the window on a good day, and not friendly employees at that. The Newnan P.O. employees have, so far, been helpful and friendly in their thankless tasks.
Dear god this is. The worse post office I’ve ever been to. Workers are slow, the facility is always dirty, it’s ridiculous. In comparison sharpsburg is the polar opposite of this place. Clean, friendly workers, willing to be of real help. If you can avoid this post office at all cost. You’ve been warned!
It would be nice if when I dropped off prepaid packages in the package drop box that they would actually scan in the boxes or even get the packages moving. I drop them off in the morning and they dont even receive a scan until the next day in Atlanta at best. Saturday mail here is pointless I routinely dont even get a postmark. If they are understaffed please... USPS... send them some help!
The service here is horrible. There are always long lines and not enough staff to help out. They also lost a birthday package of mine that I sent out to a friend. ((Long Story Ahead)) When I went to the post office to see what happened to it, they told me my package was considered Dead Mail and when I asked what that meant, no one there could tell me. So after a google search (thanks google) I learned that they assumed I didnt have a return address or sender address, even though my information was accurate on the package. I even received the shipping label that they cut from the original box which was all they found of my present, to show that I had all the information. In the end, no one could help me and I was better off not going there in the first place. Also, when I tried to claim the $50 insurance that came with my package, they made it impossible for me to make a claim. It was just a horrible situation, and Im never going there again.
In did a postal pick up service, and no one came to pick up my mail. I received a confirmation that someone picked it up, but the item was still on my front porch. I called the Newnan Post Office first thing the next morning, and the person assured me that the driver would pick it up that day. Another day has gone and the package was still not picked up. After calling back, I was apologized to again and just told to call back. It shouldnt be this difficult if I did everything online...i also should not have received a confirmation that someone picked up the item if it hadnt been. Janky system.
There was no attempt of delivery. You failed to send my package. People were home all damn day. And not a single knock on the door. Not a single note. Learn to run your buisness. You guys are just lazy. I have had multiple things go missing in the mail and multiple things sent to the wrong address.
I put my mail on hold, they deliver a package to my front door and mail. I had a package coming today, I get a text that its being held per the customers request??? No I did not request this. Each day the email shows me what mail is to be delivered, sometimes it 2 to 4 days later when it arrives.
Because I cant give negative stars! I am so tired of messages that packages cant be delivered for completely bogus reasons. My house doesnt move, the driveway and mailbox is clearly marked and used multiple times a day to go to and from the house, so unable to get to house/mailbox is a LIE. We were home and know you didnt even come down the driveway. So didnt want to leave the package unattended is a LIE. Whether this is a delivery person problem or a delivery service problem, this is a USPS IS TERRIBLE AND UNRELIABLE problem.
Says try to deliver a package but mailbox was full. No mail and i think she didnt want to get out of the truck on this rainy day. No note was left anywhere even though theu say they tried to deliver! Been home all morning waiting. Watched the truck drive right past my house! Needed this for a gift for a birthday tomorrow (SUN) AND THEY CLOSE IN 9 MIN. Called and automated system sucks! No help ever.
Failed to deliver two packages. No note left, tracking states they attempted delivery. No signature is required for these packages, both would fit in a mail box, and I was home all afternoon, even there to watch the truck drive right by the house. Amazing this organization even continues to operate
I was out of town for my delivery. Im back today and trying to reschedule delivery but now it says they already returned the item to sender!!! My slip clearly says they would hold it till the 6th!!!!Now Im on hold with USPS to try and clear this up... Heres to the next hour of my time...
Continuous issues with mail delivery in Summer Grove. Have had my mail delivered to other residents and vice versa. Latest issue was getting my notification that a package I had been expecting from Amazon was left inside of my mailbox. I was home, so I went directly outside and there was no package...so Im sure it was left in someone elses mailbox. So frustrating and irresponsible.
There mail delivery is unacceptable I received packages that fit in the parcel Locker and for some reason they refused to use the parcel Locker.and depending on the driver they wont deliver to your front door. I always after to reschedule delivery or have to go to the post office to pick up.

I reported the matter via the USPS site. On 4/8, I spoke with Tiffany Stonebaker or Stonebraker, her supervisor. She too was RUDE and completely UNPROFESSIONAL. She was extremely dismissive and accusatory. Also, 4/8, coincidentally, was the last day that I received USPS Informed Delivery. I believe that someone in your office FRAUDULENTLY removed USPS Informed Delivery from my account WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I refuse to be accosted at MY HOME and HAVE MY MAIL INTERRUPTED because YOUR EMPLOYEE WAS IN THE WRONG. I expect IMMEDIATE ACTION TO BE TAKEN. THERE SHOULD BE AN AUDIT TRAIL OF ANYONE WHO HAD/HAS ACCESS TO MY RECORD/ACCOUNT. I WORK IN I.T., SO PLEASE DO NOT THINK FOR ONE MOMENT I AM GOING TO LET THIS BEHAVIOR SLIDE. WHOEVER CHOSE TO REMOVE MY INFORMED DELIVERY NEEDS TO BE REPRIMANDED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, AS NOW YOU ARE WITHHOLDING MY MAIL I HAVE NOT HAD ANY MAIL DELIVERED AS OF 4/9/2020. I experienced the worst customer service at this location. The older women in the long blonde hair was VERY rude. My sister and I had a few questions to ask about shipping a package and she did not help at all. Please hire someone who is willing to provide customer service... It would be greatly appreciated.
Terrible postal office. Very rude people and not efficiently in inserting codes in their system. Some of my barcodes could not be read, but I know from past experience that barcodes can be inserted manually. They denied to do that. Not recommended at all. I would mostly recommended the postal office located by the square in Newnan, those 2 male employees have a sense of customer service.
LIARS! Dont tell me that my package is with the carrier and on the way to me when its really not. I called to see if I could pick my packages up that were three days late and before I could even say my name I was told theyre on the truck out for delivery. Lo and Behold- my packages arent here. I mean, really? Cant even take thirty seconds to enunciate to me- instead of a constant stream of BS? This is the government at work......
My Wife and I came to the post office on postal Parkway on the 16th of December around eight oclock in the evening. We pulled into the parking lot and it was pitch black dark. The only light burning was the light shinning on the Flag. This makes for a very dangerous area. We both felt very unsafe as we made our way into the building and back to our car. It would be appreciated if someone could look into repairing or replacing the lights in the parking lot and on the road if possible.Thank you
If there were negative stars this flipping office would get -5. The is the most unreliable office I have ever had to deal with in my life. It is at the point this office needs new management top to bottom. The poorest of service I have ever dealt with including government agencies!
Not only is it dangerously dark the place has been overtaken by weeds and untrimmed bushes. Recently complained my neighbor was leaving personal notes in my mailbox and the person at the post office thought it was amusing. Suggested I come thumb through her mail but she didnt find that amusing.The conditions are appalling and a disgrace to the city.
I have two questions... 1. How do I choose zero stars? And 2. How many places have been put out of business because of the service we get from USPS? As for my list of complaints, its too many to list here so Ill spare you the time. My comment, use ANY other service available...
Rude, rude people working there! I called this morning since we are new to the area to inquire as to what time mail usually runs around here. Not a hard question, but the lady that answered was flippant and so disrespectful and said, “I don’t know, it varies”, okay, fair enough....so you can’t give me a window like morning or afternoon!? “No, I don’t know, I can’t give you a estimate” then hangs up phone! Didn’t even ask what area! Ugh, sorry to “bother” you.
The absolute worse customer service ever. They dont deserve to have a job in customer service of they cant provide customer service. I am so disappointed and upset that I am a soldier in the US Army fighting for the right n freedom of such nasty ungrateful mean people...Americans. Find a different post office.
I have lived at my same address for four years I was expecting a package it didn’t arrive so I go to the post office and called the post office several times going on two weeks now still no package they tell me my package is at the post office and they will find it like I said it’s been two weeks now and by the way it was my daughters Christmas witch can’t be replaced and the staff is very rude unprofessional and act like you don’t matter if you don’t like your job or can’t deal with the public then quit

2021-02-09This driver has a problem. She came barreling through my neighborhood the other afternoon doing at least 50mph. She swung around corners not even trying to brake and when I yelled to slow down it didnt even register. I tried calling the post office to report her but never got a response so maybe someone will see this and have a talk with her about speeding through residential neighborhoods where people walk their children and pets because at the rate she was going shes bound to injure herself or someone else and I would like to avoid that before it happens.

2022-01-12I left an item @ this p.o. 2 return 2 sender, an unopened box with my address & the senders address on it. The sender never received the item, PUMA Shoes. I waz told by the manager that they could not return them so they ended up as trash... THE USPS IS N THE STEALING BUSINESS!!! How do u not 4ward a parcel with both addresses on it??!! MY ITEM WAS STOLEN BY THIS P.O.!!!

2022-01-24Terrible experience dealing with this location. They “lost” my package for nearly 2 months and tried to tell me it was returned to the sender when the tracking updates clearly said otherwise. I called the company and they have no record of the package ever being sent back or received, but USPS refused to tell me anything besides the package was forwarded to the sender. The company ended up marking the package as lost after 2 months.

2022-01-10Terrible! There should be a sign for appointment service. If there’s no sign, how do people know if they just cut in front a line, or have some decency to wait inline. This Barbara lady had some guts to talk about being late for the appointment?! If I know I don’t have to wait in line, you think I’ll waste my time do it?!!! She was very rude, tried to be smart and mouthy.

2021-08-31Never thought I would stoop so low as to review a post office but here we are lol. Newnan post office attempts delivery to my home and then holds my packages at my request every single time. Then, they never attempt to redeliver. Your only options are to file a claim with USPS or to wait in an hour-long line. If you choose to wait there, theres a good chance theyve lost your package in the back. Absolutely terrible office, would give zero stars if I could.

2021-05-17We had an Amazon order being delivered to our business by USPS. It says they couldnt gain access to the front door at 10:30 am even though the door was unlocked and there were at least 7 cars in the parking lot. Then theres an update at 5pm saying they attempted to deliver it again and couldnt. We were still at work until 7pm so Im betting the carrier was too lazy to actually deliver the package so they said they couldnt. Now Im literally standing in line at this post office to pickup the package and theres ta least 20 people in line. Probably because the carriers here arent doing their job which is making more work for the actual office.

2021-07-09They consistently have only 1 person working the front counter and still take appointments for passports. The line is out the door and the postmaster refuses to come out front to assist. Plan on 45 minutes minimum to conduct your business.

2020-11-17This entire outfit is terrible! The mail carrier always delivers the mail to the wrong addresses. My neighbors and myself are always going around the neighborhood too deliver the mail to the correct address. When I do get my mail the post mark is sometimes a week to 2 weeks earlier. Then yesterday I was supposed to get a package delivered, I did not have to be home to get this package( even though I was home) and I got a notification that they attempted delivery and couldnt ( for what reason I do not know as I saw the mail truck 2 houses down from me when I went out to my box) so my package was being held at the post office per my request (which I did not request). I take time to go to the post office to pick this up(Im there for 30 minutes) only to be told they couldnt find it and should be delivered today. Completely unexceptionable service!!!
