The parking situation is horrendous since they put the gym in the old Sears. I used to park in that side lot by Bed Bath and Beyond and go in that side door. I went to pick up an order this evening and could find nowhere to park. I ended up going in a side door down by JCP and walking back to the other end.
I really enjoyed walking through the mall and browsing through the shops there. I was also amazed at the variety of different places to order food from. I loved the fact that it was all one level so, no stairs or escolater to worry about riding. I even loved the claw machines. A nice place to shop.
Small mall with just what we need. Wished we would get a few more stores to come. I sure miss the Gap being in lake park...or a childrens boutique, my son 8 yr old loves and will only wear Aftco shorts. Or a Dillards, pottery barn, Brighton outlet, etc... We just need more variety so we dont have to drive outta town for Christmas and /or back to school shopping
Makes for a lovely day of shopping. Parking lot is clean and spacious, so is the interior of the mall. Lots of choices of stores and a very nice food court offering a variety of tasty treats. Also offers an arcade filled with games for family friendly fun. I traveled some 50 miles to shop here and I wasnt disappointed. Planning another trip soon and will highly recommend.
Clean and nice place to shop. Could use a few more stores but what they have is more than our local mall. The stroller rentals haven’t worked the last two times we’ve went and it would be nice if they’d add the option of wheelchair rentals or loan for the disabled people who want to shop without having to worry about lugging one around. All in all I’d go back.
Great mall.. Dont bother purchasing a cookie from the cookie place. They charge over the hill prices for cookies that are not fresh. They say they are but I worked there. They just put them up for the night and sell the old ones first but for the same price. Ask for a bottom cookie. Those will be the freshly baked ones. Also the cookies pies are ridiculous priced. I sell cookie pies and charge half this amount and they taste better. They do not make their batter in store. It all comes in pre made. This is a rip off.
I bought something yesterday and went home to try it on! i didn’t like it so i came back today to return well i walk in and they tell me they only do exchanges! i didn’t want anything else in the store so here i am stuck with a $50 top that im not going to wear! i would love it if we they did returns and just get a refund!
The mall is decent with a variety of stores, I stopped into All heads barbershop to get my 2 year old son hair cut and the guy said he dont cut them that small. I guess its not All heads. I would suggest that barbershop advertise the age criteria, so no one else waste their time.
I had to run to the mall on my lunch break because Victoria Secret has a sale on there gift sets. Buy 2 get 2 free. Once I walked through the front of the mall it was decorated for Christmas with all types of shapes hanging from the ceiling. It reminded me of all we have gone through this year and to see something so simple put a smile on my face.
Its sad to see what life has brought to malls. People, please keep in mind that shopping local can have a positive effect on bigger name chain stores and not only downtown businesses. Businesses in local chain stores employ your friends and families. We all have our place in this world. Shop with the city you love!
Only thing I dont like is that when me and my kids where in the mood for Chinese food and went to mandarin Express and asked for extra rice and the lady wanted to get crazy with me so I put her in her place and I said if would pay for it too so I he guy had to assist me and she refused to give me what I asked for and she
Very nice mall, well kept just wish parking wasnt such a hassle, really needs designated family parking spots. I usually come to take my child to the game room and enjoy some chick-fil-a, which by the way is the best one in town with friendliness and quickness with food!
Decent mall for South Georgia, though some of my favorite stores have recently left here. Parking can be difficult especially when the mall is crowded but its still one of the best places to shop in this area and very convenient to stores around it so I can get all my shopping done in a hop and a skip away from each other. Mall closes early on Sundays at 6 pm so keep that in mind!
Ive been coming to this mall since I was a teenager( back in the 90s) and it seems to be withstanding the hands of time. Its pretty clean and a lot of new stores have been added the last couple years. Unfortunately, it has always been lacking food/ restaurant options. They used to have a Piccadilly and a Ruby Tuesday.... but, even thats gone now! Hopefully, some new food court options will be added.
A good place to hang around with friends and family. The food court is awesome and serves various delicacies within a reasonable price range. Its not so crowded and there is ample of parking place for everyone. Though big names like Macys and Nordstrom are missing but yet you wont be disappointed with Ross, old Navy, belk and so on. Quite a fun filled place.
Its okay. There are some decent stores. When the mall was new, there used to be fashion shows showing what some of the stores offered. They also used to have events, like musicians, autograph sessions with soap opera stars, sports players, etc. Now, nothing happens. It feels depressing to go there. It needs a makeover or some new life to it. Or more events, like they used to have. What do they actually do with the rent money from all these retailers??
Actually a fantastic Mall every store space was occupied and they even had an arcade oh, my four-year-old son absolutely loved being able to win tickets and pick out his own toys... If you get a chance to stop by and you will definitely enjoy this place oh, definitely going back on our next visit to Valdosta...
I had a fantastic time here. The mall is so huge with upper and lower parking decks. There are numerous stores within the facility with fashion retailers among the most popular. It houses one of the biggest JC Penney and Sears outlets Ive seen apart from the one in Cobb County Town Center Mall. There are playgrounds for kids and corner centers for relaxation.
This mall absolutely sucks!! It is more of a shopping center rather than an actual mall...this plaza only has about 20 stores && most of the stores are out of season facilities. Sizes are rarely available due to quick sell-outs...Valdosta mall doesnt offer upstairs as well as escalators or elevators. Valdosta def.needs an upgrade to their shopping center.
Nice mall with good shopping choices! The food court choices and entertainment was great! Chic fila never fails with superior customer service finding me in the food court to deliver my shake! The young lady singing, playing the guitar and piano was amazing! Good song choices had us singing and to tapping during lunch!
A must when you are close to Valdosta. Easy access from highway 75. If youre just looking for one item or want to go on a shopping excursion, youll most likely find it there. Stores of many price ranges and with such diverse selections. Great for novelties, a guest gift, souvenirs, home items, that special little black dress, or that itsy bitsy teeny weenie yellow polka-dot bikini, school clothes ( for when the kids get to go back to school). Just to mention a few. Their ate phone stores as well as hardware stores within a block of the mall, and fuel stations within 2 blocks...a full service grocery store on the cusp of the mall, nail salons available too. Everything you could need or just want for you pet is available in the huge Pet Smart, where youll find grooming services too. Then If youre making it a day and want to see a good movie before you go, the Movie Theater with numerous selections and genres is located just 2 blocks SE 😳 . Restaurants galore...fast food to 4 star in or within 4 blocks of our great little Valdosta Mall.
More closed space than open stores. Ive never been to a mall with more boutiques than anything. You can walk this entire mall in 15mins. Dont waste your time stopping unless you want some chick fi la and a few candles from bath and body works. Its a fancy swap meet lol
I just cannot give this mall a great rating. It would challenge my basic person. The mall is basic, there is no one there and half the stores do not do something as simple as vacuum the floor. I went to a few stores and most my time was standing there waiting for someone to assist me. The shoe store I went to was probably one of the most unorganized places I have been in my life and I’ve been to bazaars in the Middle East. It really seems like this place could use some TLC or something. I get sad walking in here.
Theyve done a good job keeping this mall relevant. The facilities are well kept there are a good number of different types of stores to visit. But if I had to recommend one particular business it would have to be Truly Relax. They do fantastic deep tissue work and reflexology
I have enjoyed going to this place since I was a child. Although I do miss the water fountain in the center Court. The selection of stores is great. Should be able to find all you need here. With the addition of PetSmart and childrens place , the mall has certainly been a one stop shop.
The mall is decorated in a festive style for the holidays. Shopping at Lane Bryant was a pleasure (Ms. LaWanda is a gem!), and I almost went broke at the Hallmark Gold Crown store (all I can say is Ginger Snaps!) and just generally walked my feet off. I cant wait to go back!
Its the only mall in Valdosta. I like to come here to browse and even eat a quick bite. Ive eaten at every place in the food court. My favorite is American Deli. Old Navy and JC Penny are always stocked with my size and have great in-store sales. Overall good, but I wish the mall had a few more stores.
Almost a 4 star rating...solely because of how easy parking is in Belk and the friendly staff. My favorite store FYE closing is why the rating goes down to 3. Spencers is really the only store worth going to besides Hot Topic now. They do have Great American Cookies though so thats what keeps me going here. Its such a shame...ive had so many good memories at this mall. I fear it may go downhill if some things arent added to it. I hope one day they add another store that sells CDs and Vinyls like FYE once did...
The mall is updated, the mall area is clean but the bathrooms could be updated a bit more. Nice stores, a nice food court and outside the mall lots of other stores. The ways in and out of the mall were a pain. The parking lot area and traffic were crazy. Decent play area.
Went here to actually just exclusively go to Spencers. I had seen a bumper sticker on a truck that had said honk if you have to poop. Got the opportunity to pull up alongside said truck and subsequently asked the driver where he got that bumper sticker. He said Spencers so I was all in. When I went they didnt have that particular bumper sticker, but I was fortunate enough to purchase others that were a little more intriguing. Anyway I love love love this store so go visit if you can.
Considerately convenient & collectively accessible to provide with the best shopping experiences the Valdosta Mall is set up very nicely to suit Your shopping needs. Inside are wonderful stores & the food has a delicious selection of food groups to entice those of You who like a variety of theme restaurants...
Its a good little mall to shop at. It had a little of everything, but more importantly! it helps the Local Community! Those are jobs that a lot of local people depend on to pay their bills! Support your Local Community and whenever possible, support SMALL BUSINESS as well!
While I’m glad Valdosta has a mall in general, this mall is somewhat lacking in selection. They do a lot of fun raffles through their social media, which is great. There are a few restaurants in the food court to choose from, including Chick-fil-A. I hope they continue to get more and new stores, like the addition of Carter’s.
For Valdosta, GA its not bad. It had a few good stores, most of the major stores and jewelry stores (Sears, Kay, etc...). The food court is not too bad either. For a small town mall it has what it needs. Not sure what mall experience people are looking for. A mall is a mall. Take it fir what it is or drive an hour to Tallahassee.
Have not been to this mall in like 10 years but it has grown and changed so much I loved it. Plenty of stores to shop in and a wide variety of things to buy from FYE to Spencers this is the place to go. The entrance is a thing of beauty with places to sit. The only con I have is there wasnt much to eat but I did not go thru the whole mall so I may have missed some places. Overall 4 stars and highly recommended.
The malls just dont seem to be as popular as they were back in the day. this mall has a jcpenney, belk, Spencers, and a few other clothing stores as well as a bath and body works, nail and hair salon, and a few others. prices can be rather....pricey so you really have to shop for deals if you are on a budget.
Small mall but not bad. Got many shops here and its located very close to I-75 so you could do your quick shopping and get back to the highway!Jc Penney, Ross, T-Mobile, Victorias secret, game stop, and many others. They even got jewlery stores inside! They got many restaurants to choose from and they also got an arcade or videos games area. The hand sanitizer was empty and didnt get refilled even the next day!
I always enjoy shopping at the Valdosta Mall. I especially had a good experience in the jewelry department at Belk. The sales person was very kind and helpful. She offered to assist me with matching jewerly pieces with the new blouses that I purchased. Excellent customer service.
Boring mall always the same stuff in every store, it needs a second floor, some remodeling and a cinnabon and more food selections like taco bell, or even McDonalds other than chick fil A, and the Chinese place a little too boring here even my mall in Dothan was more updated and fun than this. So this place definitely needs some work done and lower prices on the cheap clothes they sell at certain stores like Rue 21 and JcPenny
I was in the mall this past Saturday when I observed a couple walking a dog inside the mall. The dog decided to urinate in the mall. Disgusting. The lady with the dog did not warn other shoppers about the obvious puddle while the the male went to the food court to get napkins to clean up the urine. Why was this dog allowed in the mall?
If I could negative star this I would.I left a bag sitting the food court. Walked away and went right back, of course it was gone. Had security pull the camera footage, they said they couldnt see anything, but a mall employee was right beside its when I walked away and offered to clear the table for us when we started cleaning it off... Long story short I think the custodian fast talked us to make us forget about the bag under the table so he could take it, then security covered for him.Left a realty bad taste in my mouth, Ill go to Macon or Albany even before I shop in the Valdosta mall again.
A good sized place with all your favorite large department, clothing, and shoe stores. If youre an avid gamer or collector of just about any major fandom this is the mall for you. They have a large Spencers, Hot Topic, Game stop (that also sells collectables), and a FYE. The food court is a decent size and has excellent food. Chic fil a, two Chinese places, a Spanish place, and more. For all the ladies and girls they have Bath and Body Works, White Barn Candles, Claires, and Victorias Secret (Im not sure if Pink is a separate store in this one). Annexed to The building are a Pet smart, and a Ross. The traffic pattern for the parking lot is slightly confusing but managable. The mall itself is right smack in the middle of the shopping district, it is surrounded by places to eat hang out and shop... Best Buy, Good Will (its enormous), ect. The interstate is within 5-8 min drive depending on traffic. I highly recommend.
The mall is cool. It has 3 anchors: JC Penney, Sears, and Belks. It also has a small food court, and several specialty stores. Great for jewelry (expensive and cheap), shoes, sneakers and young mens clothing--dress pants in particular. I use the mall when Im looking for these items. Im not always thrilled with the prices, but I can usually find what I need.
Its the valdosta mall. It has been struggling forever. The whole mall needs a face lift. It has a few anchor stores (Sears, belks and JCPenney). They have a few others but these are mostly outlet versions of the larger store found in larger cities. The mall is one story hallway design from the 70s. They have one area that is updated a little but the owners dont put much money or creativity into the property sadly.Update: Sears is closing and will be gone January/February 2018. This mall was struggling before and the decline in retail due internet sales continue degrade its quality.
Good stop when I arrived early at my overnite destination. J.C. Penny and Belk anchors. I got to go to my favorite cosmetic store Sephora. Mall was fairly busy. Walked around a bit as I had been driving part of day. Easy on & off main road. Sits back off highway so a tad bit hard to see.
Its a decent mall, with a few unique or good stores. If you are in search of luxury/higher-end goods: Belk carries (in store) brands such as: Polo, Dooney & Burke, Ugg, Sperry, etc. Also, Dallas Wayne offers unique clothing, shoes, and accessories for men, women and children. They offer a large selection from brands such as: Southern Marsh, Over Under, Fripp & Folly, Dan Post, etc. There is also an Ulta with a decent selection. A full directory can be found on their website.
It has what you needs for typical shopping ! Im from california and im used to huge shopping experiences so although this mall isnt as big as regular malls it has what you need to still have a great shopping day . Ive been to Atlanta to shop and went to a big mall and it was just awful . this mall is perfect for the basis to hang out and get little things or go to shop ALOT!
The Valdosta Mall has a variety of different store, for a small town mall. I can always find what Im looking for. Belk, Ulta, Crazy 8, Bath and Body Works, and Hallmark are my favorite places to shop. Theres also is a variety of other stores and dining. Its my go-to place to shop.

2022-04-17A great mall. However when I decided to go today (I had checked on their website which said they were open) I got there and they were closed. Wouldve been great if you guys fixed it or upload a holiday schedule. Overall, great stores.

2022-03-19I actually visited Petsmart in the mall area. It was busy but no different than normal. Petsmart was having pet adoptions so they were busier than normal. All in all a great visit and I was able to get everything needed.

2022-06-21Nice place, clean with good stores. Very busy place on the weekends. Be patient with parking unless you’re willing to park far away or on the opposite side of the main entrance.

2022-05-16Went into the Mall primarily to walk around. I am a Senior and found it clean, with plenty of seating to be had. Felt safe here as well.

2022-05-22Very busy. Great operation and organization. Should be a training session for all other Chick-fil-A restaurants.

2022-06-05This mall needs more stores and a massive revamp. Its probably the worst mall Ive ever seen. The shopping options are so limited and it has not changed much internally for 30 years. Many locals go out of state to shop.

2022-02-19About a year ago I purchased a $400 pair of Gucci sunglasses from Sunglass Hut in Pooler, GA while on vacay. I love them! Well, apparently my 🍑 does too bc I ACCIDENTLY SAT ON THEM! (The one time I did not put them in the case. I swear. I cant make this stuff up). Thank God I purchased the $40 protection plan @ the time of purchase. I called the Sunglass Hut in Pooler and they told me I had until April 2022 to use my protection plan. I would be getting a BRAND NEW pair of Gucci sunglasses for 40 bucks. So, my husband takes me to Valdosta (the nearest location) and Im kinda scared as soon as I walk in the mall bc this Sunglass Hut is in a booth in the middle of the mall. 😬 I was greeted by a VERY nice sales associate who was assisting other customers but did her best to make me feel welcomed. I didnt think this location would have the pair I needed. 😔 She checked her system and said that it looks like we have the exact same pair in stock. She searched all the new inventory that had just come in and BAM! She found them!!! She cleaned them and even gave me a brand new Gucci case with authentication papers. I pre-judged. Which is why you shouldnt! Go visit this Sunglass Hut in the Valdosta Mall. Its legit. 😎

2022-04-15Its a good mall. Clean. Although Not a lot of diversity anymore. Still hate that they closed FYE. Main reason Id go in the past.
