I often frequent this Waffle House. This was the first time I have been here in a Wendsday night, and to be honest, I would prefer to come back on the weekends like I usually do.First, the service was mediocre at best. The hostess was too preoccupied with her phone to address my table.I ordered a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese sandwich with Grits in place of Hash Browns And a cup of coffee. The sandwich was really hot and fresh and tasted really good, but the grits were about story. There were hard chunks in the grits and at the bottom, there were large chunks of grits as tough as rubber.The coffee was also old. It had a faint burnt taste to it. It took 4 creams and a LOT of sugar to make it drinkable.I am usually a huge fan of this Waffle House. The people are usually amazing and the food is usually the best. But tonight, I was seriously let down.
Went at night. Seating was limited due to short staff. Which wouldve made since if the place were big. Had to wait 15 mins to be seated. After being seated, had to wait 10 mins for a menu. After eating had to wait 10 mins to pay my check.
Been here two nights in a row first night said cash register was down the go was sleeping in the corner. Tonight or this morning all the shades are pulled down with all the lights on nobody insight and the door locked, what the heck!
The service was friendly and fast. The food was what was expected. Not amazing but filling.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience bothered me. I went with a friend, and we were given our silverware and the drinks we ordered. However, we sat there, and sat there, and sat there after this. They never came to take our orders. One guy asked the other if he’d taken our orders, and the second guy said, “They never asked to order.” Two people came in after us, and they got to order pretty much right away, but we had to ask apparently. I’ll be happy to go to other Waffle House locations, but I’m not going back to this one.
Some kind of plastic (wrapper) in my bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Very gross biting into my sandwich and getting this surprise. Other food was ok and typical of Waffle House

Once again Waffle House didnt disappoint. The All-Star breakfast was off the charts and my patty melt with the chili , cheese and jalapeno hash browns hit the spot. I went in and ordered to go but surprisingly my food was ready before I knew it.

Everyone was ok except the women making the waffle. If you walk into this establishment you will recognize her as the most hateful and disgusting person in the world. I would never go here again and would give zero stars if possible. I hope she gets fired because not only was she arguing with other staff and laughing at customers the whole time. She does not know how to do her job and never made our food. Absolute piece of trash human being. I hesitate to call her human.

My wife and I are traveling and stopped by for breakfast. We saw a couple of other diners in side but they had the doors locked. I didnt know if maybe there was another door. I knocked on the window and employee started smiling but wouldnt look up at us. So rude. An employee outside that had ended his shift said, theyll open soon. I guess they were shorthanded? Anyway, he told me to go to another one right down the street. We did. That one was closed, even though it had a sign that it opened 7-2 (memorial day hours, I guess). Well, it was 7:30 and not a soul inside. How can they stay in business like that? Terrible!!!
Service was good, but they gave me one scramble egg when it should have been two. The eggs were supposed to have cheese 🧀 on them,but instead they were on my hashbrowns. Unfortunately not our regular Waffle house so we will not be back. Brenda was awesome and she needs too go to our regular Waffle house 🏠

Actually just great! My Son & I really kind of have up on the Waffle House as far as are they gonna make the Fiesta Omelette right, vegetarian style, no meat substitute meat for mushrooms. Well this WH passed w/flying colors!

Its WaHo. Its Southern Hibachi. Its a classic, and if you grew up in the South, you most likely have your own order.Mine depends on the time of day. Breakfast? Often its the All Star, scrambled with cheese, hash browns scattered, smothered and covered. 1/2 bacon and 1/2 sausage, with a well done waffle. Oh, and coffee. Classic WaHo coffee. Its a comfort at the roadside and its always open.If you arent familiar with it, welcome to the South, yall! Get a waffle. Get a burger, chicken, steak, pork chops, eggs, whatever you want. Order how you want it (dont order something medium or medium rare, its a short order cook) and of course get hashbrowns!Oh, and expect that you will be called sweetie, darling, honey, etc. Its part of the territory and its endearing.Enjoy yourself!
We arrived and the place was busy. There was no coordination for seating as alot of us we were waiting for tables to be cleaned. Several people begun to sit at dirty tables that arrived after us. We decided if we were ever going to eat we had to make a move a sit at a dirty table. Well we did and practically yelled at by staff. My wife and I got up and immediately left
UPDATE: My original review was a two-star as seen below. There must have been a recent management change or something because the staff is much more friendly and efficient now. Elijah is the bomb diggity and always greets you with a friendly hello and hes a very hard worker. We actually come more often now and enjoy eating here. Great job guys, keep up the good work!ORIGINAL REVIEW : The food is always pretty good...I mean its Waffle House, so typical greasy and buttery food. This particular day our experience was not so great. A couple of the waitresses were feuding, we were pretty thirsty as we did not get our drinks until halfway through our meal. They were busy at the time, but the waitresses were so busy talking about each other to what I believe was the manager, that people were getting irritated because of the lack of service. And the table behind us was covered with food left from the previous customers when we got there and still covered when we left...we overheard one of the girls say I aint cleaning that table, it aint mine. Pretty awful waffle!
We came at 11am and it took 45 minutes to get a booth. We could have sat earlier at the bar, but wanted a booth to better contain our toddler. The staff were friendly and offered us drinks as we waited. And the waiter who served us was super friendly. He even got our toddler a paper Waffle House hat. He went out of his way to make our visit enjoyable. The food was good, as waffle house food always is. The bathrooms were not the cleanest, and there was no diaper changing station. She friendliness of the staff was the redeeming element of our experience.
I just love wafflehouse. I didnt use to like them when I was younger, but nowadays I crave there triple order of hashbrowns scattered, smothered, and peppered.... no joke lol!
Best thing about this Waffle House, is the help (of one single waitress): Jennifer [also, ex US ARMY, and did her training at Fort Jackson, like me ! ] Awesome service, yet only given 3 days/week.gig.
Stellar experience, the cook was very conscience of changing gloves when touching different meats and the servers had everything clean even the usually sticky syrup dispenser👍.... And the chicken& waffles was on POINT!

One of the better Waffle Houses with decent parking, clean restrooms and friendly faces. The crew works good together as orders fly out with precision. Always enjoy myself there! Good food for your buck!

I have been to this location numerous times and have never received such horrible service. From the moment we walked in, DJ yell from across the room not to sit at the booth we were heading to stating Someone is sitting there.....the table was empty. From that moment until we left she continued to ignore us. Food was not hot when we finally got it, lukewarm at best. She never came to check to see if we needed more drinks, in fact had to ask 3 times for more OJ. Had i been driving i would have walked out.
I love the pride the employees of Waffle House take in their work. I used to visit Waffle House often for their cheese and veg omelettes with coffee. Add some hash browns and its a complete meal. The staff is friendly, one would enjoy chatting with them while they are making fresh food. They get pins for the number of years of service and other form of appreciation, the more pins one has to flaunt on their caps and shirts, the more they have been at Waffle House. So many employees have worked their for decades, they have paid off their home mortgages, childrens education, their own education. A good place to eat, and very common to spot one.
I waited a whole year to come and get this food and the service was good and the food was excellent as I expected
Awesome time at Waffle House located on 1470 Holcomb bridge R.D. I hated Waffle House until I ate food cooked by BIG WILL. He is a great cook. I recommend going when he is there and his partner Graham was an awesome server. I just love people who love their job!! AWESOME!!!!
I ordered breakfast with wheat bread and as I was finishing my breakfast in my car at a jobsite at 6am with minimal light I noticed that the last of my wheat bread was moldy. Needless to say I felt nauseous. I returned to the restaurant with the moldy bread and they refunded my money. Refund process was hassle free.
First thing I watched a server take the tips off a table of another server. Second thing we had three tables that had ants crawling through the jars of sugar. And last but not least for this waffle House the service was extremely slow and not all the food orders were correct.
Always serves food with care. This is my only go to Waffle House. The chef here is the best!

Wish I could rate 0 stars. Uncleared tables despite people waiting to sit. We had to clean off our own table and sat down and STILL were ignored. The employees purses were taking up 1 table and they would not move them either. We had to get up and leave. VERY RUDE STAFF!!!
The food was ok, but the staff was very lazy. The cook was arguing with the waitresses for about 5 mins about who was going to take my friends sausage off the grill because he was too lazy to do his own job. When we came in most of the tables were dirty, and the 2 waitresses working would sit and play on their phones instead of cleaning the tables. Have very low expectations if you go to this Waffle House. Lower than normal for WaHo.
I noticed depending on when I go into this particular location off 400 and Holcomb, the charge is sometimes different for the exact same meal,. I have only come in either the am or pm shift. So I mentioned this to the waitress, she explained it away by saying maybe the other workers werent charging properly. I think this person doesnt know how to bill or was over charging customers purposely. I wont be going back to this location....This isnt my first complaint about this location. Just the first time Ive reviewed. Most of the time at any given WH location the customer service isnt good when dining in let alone having the nerve to charge customers a extra tax to go.

Never again will I eat at ANY Waffle House ... my steak was raw they screwed up my order of hashbrowns. The place was filthy and had ants crawling all over the tables ... not very sanitary ... the bathrooms were in better shape and they were dirty ... a $20 lesson on why to never eat there again
I love Waffle House, the organization. Joe Rogers, Jr. is a great man, and Waffle House corporate is well run. The server we had at this Roswell location was pretty rude, though. Because of that, I may not go back to this particular location on Holcomb Bridge Rd. Across from Old Alabama Rd. The parking lot is hard to get out of, too.
Lumpy grits. Fix it with adding more hot water while whisking consistently. If u whisk right when adding grits on the front end they wont be lumpy. Too many grits, poured to fast, not enough water, equals lumps every time. Get distracted while they are cooking dont stir occasionally enough, lumps. Sad the only ones open have lumpy grits like this one. Quality check all the locations and teach them how to make grits right. Imma Grady baby, yall making us look bad. Lol
I will never go back to this location. Took the family in this morning (7:20). I asked for another table because, the booth we were in was cold and the fan was blowing one us. The waitress, said we could move but, it would still be cold. Another waitress stated, she turned up the heat. 20 mins later, the whole family are still wearing jackets inside this waffle house. And to add, I do not appreciate employees cussing at work or while children are present. Very disappointed at Waffle house Standards at this location.
Came to the Waffle House here for the first time and it will be the last time. We sat there waiting for a booth. When a booth became available no one attempted to clean it up even after seating there for 10 minutes. There were five servers just walking around and then the server goes and picks up her tip and doesn’t even attempt to clean the table. When I asked another server who was available to clean, she then stated that the server is busy taking a payment and to hold on. I don’t know why the other 4 who were there couldn’t even assist in cleaning. Left without eating.
Definitely located in the hood next to the Atlanta motel. Roswell police always there.. Bad location .people walking around all day and night and that waffle house is scary. Never clean and the staff is not friendly. New staff constantly and I would advise anyone in their right mind to go to the next exit off old Alabama and eat at the clean waffle house. Well worth the trip and away from the hood.
The food was prepared wéll although very slowly considering there were 2 guests there. My real challenge was the staff. I arrived and there was 2 employees outside by the entrance. One was having a very public conversation on their phone. The other was leaning in a car talking with the driver. This employee had his entire rear viable. No exaggeration. His waistlinecwaa below his butt cheeks. Inside, every employee at one point was on their phone.

Update September 21, 2018: This place is not holding up. Table was filthy, coffee was old and burnt, and the floor was sticky. Oh, the bathroom could use a house down. Ill be looking around for another WH, theres two more in a stones throw...Original review:Ive been here many times, and it is better than the average Waffle House. Some of these reviews are about the Waffle House on the other side of GA400 (e.g. located in the hood next to the Atlanta motel). Of course, the staff turn over is high, but less than most other Waffle Houses that was my home WH over the years. I now take my toddler son to this location and always get friendly service (of course, Im rarely there at 3am!). Come on, people, its a Waffle House!
“Rockstar cook” never changes his gloves after pulling raw pork, etc from fridge. Your plate has been touched with raw pork. The cup used to scoop hash browns and your toasted bread are also touched with raw meat gloves.The whole cold bar is cross contaminated.It’s not that we expect much from Waffle House, but they could do the bare minimum and change a plastic glove...I really like the staff at this location and I come back for the service. The cooks screw it up almost every time.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and how clean the place was. I went off menu to just order something off the top of my head, and they executed it perfectly. I would definitely make a trip back to this waffle House
Waffle Houses are ubiquitous throughout the South but no much more so in Hotlanta where their headquarters are located. Waffle House is your basic greasy spoon great for late night hangover meals and breakfast all day long. As for me Ive been going to Waffle Houses since I was a wee tadpole and I always get hash browns - scattered, smothered, covered and chunked (onions, cheese and ham). Ive never been disappointed.
For being a very busy Sunday and it being mothers day the team here was killing it! speedy service, friendly attitudes, all around great place
SAT there for 30 minutes after ordering food, had to ask for my coffee 25 minutes after ordering, never received our water, never received or orange juice, decided to leave after realizing that with only two other customers in the building all of the food being prepared was being served to the employees. After 30 minutes they only had one order of eggs plated between our three plates. Absolutely horrible service, will not return to the store.
Very busy, but our waitress was FANTASTIC! She was personable and took her time while waiting on us. She was efficient and professional. We left her a nice tip for EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE.

Not good. They were playing the music so loud we could not even carry on a conversation. When they were asked to turn it down one of the young gals got an attitude and was very unhappy. Seems like this store has poor supervision as I have had problems there before with very poor service.Seems like they need new management and new employees.
Im normally pretty satisfied but today the waitress seemed tired. I ordered sweet tea w/lemonade and a water. I left with a water w/ lemon and a sweet tea. I hate lemon in my water.
Waffle house was the usual waffle house. Service was prompt and courteous. The food was consistent. Hashbrowns is always a good option if you are not eating low carb.

Terrible service. My dad and I were waiting 20 minutes and they never cleaned a single empty place. We ended up leaving and not one employee had spoken a word to us or started to clean a spot. A rag was left on the place and hadn’t been used or moved.

Iam a regular (well paying) customer at this waffle house and used to work at a waffle house myself. I was meeting a friend in the parking lot to eat there when I decided to go in and ask for a water while I waited (I was dying from the heat outside) . When I asked I was immediately greeted by a girl (i think she had braids) and she started pouring the water when A quite large african american woman jumped in front of her and snatched it out of her hand told me it would cost a dollar!!!! for a cup of water!!!! Are you kidding? I couldnt (bleeping) believe it. I should of got her name and reported her to the HOTLINE . Next time maybe I will you twisted lady. ANYWAYS I didnt eat there after that and walked to starbucks where they gladly gave me a FREE water with a smile :)

Morning shift manager /cook doesnt change gloves after pulling bacon . grabs cooked food and bread with contaminated hands. Watching him now.
Almost every time I visited this place they completed my order wrong and one time, my hash browns were swimming in grease. Horrible......

2022-03-13Fast, friendly and most of all really good food. Waffle House gets it right in general and this one is an excellent example of getting it right.I had an All Star for dinner tonight and it was delightful. The staff was very friendly and greeted me when I came in the door. I ordered at the counter and my food was out in around 5 minutes. It was cooked to perfection.

2022-04-27I could eat here for the rest of my life. Even if I lived for an eternity I would still eat here for the rest of my life. The staff are always great, entertaining people who get their job done quickly and do it with a smile. Food is always great and gets out fast, cooks are always on task, its just awesome. I will get married in this Waffle House. I will raise my future children in this Waffle House. I will be cremated and spread my ashes in a waffle that my grandchildren will eat in this Waffle House. I have driven an hour out of my way just to come to this specific Waffle House because it is my safe haven. God Bless this Waffle House and those who operate it.

2022-02-24I am super happy with this place. my favorite place for breakfast. Never in what I have been having breakfast here have I had a waiter who knows Spanish and who is so friendly and so attentive. He surprised me. Ill tell you why you dont know how proud I feel every time I hear an American speak Spanish. that is the most beautiful. a person who speaks two languages. he leaves a lot to say about the restaurant of the place that he is. They are open to new opportunities. The name of the one who served us is Bryan. he was watching him. He is very clean, he is very attentive, he is very helpful. Note that I also saw his work group. They work as a team as it should be, they all went at the same pace, definitely 100000000% recommended.

2022-02-05There was only one waitress there with the cook. She was doing the best she could. The hash browns were fried too hard and the bacon was too hard. I have been to this location many times before and it was good but this time left a lot to be desired.

2022-06-14Good service and food. When we first got here, there was not many employees, so they had a tough time even with a few people. But they recently did a recruitment at our apartment complex, and last week they had lots of workers now.

2021-03-29The food was cooked perfectly, tasted amazing and was promptly served. Our server Bryan was incredible! I was absolutely shocked when he told us that it was only his first week! Bryan was professional, polite, cheerful, attentive and,, even distracted our toddler from her meltdown with a waffle house crown!

2022-02-07At 7:30 am there were only 2 tables active and myself. I sat and watched 3 servers and the cook gossip and clean for 15 minutes. No one there even looked my way. I work and cant sit around all am. I will never dine at this location again. Very disappointed!

2022-04-17My daughter girlfriend and I walked into this Waffle House to have lunch around 2:50pm and we were immediately stopped by a server with her hand out ( with the stop gesture) who advised us to we would have to wait to sit down because she didn’t know who was going to serve us because she was off in 10 minutes and she had to go ask the manager abs she walked away. I looked around the restaurant and immediately noticed that it was filthy. There was food and trash all over the floor, On the right side of the establishment there were chairs thrown on top of the tables and napkins, food and trash everywhere. I wish I could have taken a picture to sure exactly how disgusting it was. The cook’s stain looked very clean and organized and he was polishing the plates above the grill when we walked in. After the rude server walked away he smiled and greeted us when he saw us and said it’s ok we can go ahead and take a seat and pointed at a table so we sat.The other server saw us that was in there and ran to our table and told us we needed to hang on because she wasn’t sure who was going to serve us because she was also off in 8 minutes. Then the server who stopped us at the door came rushing to the table and the 2 of them began to almost argue over who was going to take the table because they were both off. My 13 year old daughter looked at me and said she would prefer not to eat here because it was dirty and those women were making her feel weird. I said ok and my girlfriend daughter and I left and had lunch at a different restaurant. It was a pretty negative and disappointing experience. I was appalled by those 2 individuals behavior and the condition of of the dining area. On an extra note although we didn’t think anything of it in the way in but the parking lot had empty cups, bottles, and trash everywhere which is not typical of any Waffle House that I’ve been to in my life and I’ve been to Waffle House several hundred times in my life in many different locations. On a positive note the chef was very polite and His Station was very clean. Other than that I would not recommend anyone waste your time eating at this location. Corporate needs to look into this location. I don’t see how a manager could allow something like this to take place or especially have the restaurant looking the way it did. It’s unsanitary.

2019-11-09It was fine, first time going to a Waffle House. I thought the menu was gonna be more diverse, bigger, you know? There is, like only 5 or 6 options to choose, Im not joking. I got the Texas Burger and a Lemonade. It was good, nothing extraordinary but I felt really stuffed/full, like a good breakfast/meal should be? Anyway, cheap and medium/decent good. Thank you
