Walgreens in other cities:
Cindy the Pharmacist really went above and beyond to help me locate my Prescription. Before coming to this Walgreens, I contacted about 5 Walgreens via Phone to locate a Prescription because the One in Tucker, Lavista Forgot to place my order without informing me a week after. All the Walgreens Ive contacted were so rude and impatient. One of them even said I dont have time to check and hung up.Cindy was literally doing three things at once, Prepping to Administer a Covid Vaccine, locating my prescription and filling out Prescriptions. And she was able to fill my prescription with the loads of volume that were coming into her pharmacy.I am really grateful she did that for me.
Pharmacy is the worst. Nonchalant and rude beyond belief. Wouldnt give me an estimate for my script. No customer service skills. How are you giving prescription information from a printer that clearly needed to be repaired or replaced? When I stated that I could not read the information, the pharmacist asked me what she should do????? Please do what the previous reviewer suggested and go next door to Publix. I would have filled my prescription there, but they didnt have it in stock.
The staff is friendly and professional especially Ms Renee she always makes our shopping experience seamless and a pleasure. We enjoy going there and the store is clean and and their Catalina machine works. The ladies (staff) are always knowledgeable and a great help. Its one of my favorite places to go. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
The lady in the pharmacy need shantae or however you spell it is VERY RUDE. ‘My sister has an abscess so we all know you can’t really talk and not loud that for sure. She yells telling my sister I can’t hear you. Lady you helping sick ppl with an attitude is unacceptable. I call to get her name and the young man answering would not give her name but transfers my call to the store manager. That was unprofessional. Customer service comes with a name tag on I thought. SHANTAE DO NOT NEED TO NE WORKING THERE.
Pharmacy is rude, always an issue with getting your prescription, unfriendly. They seem to not know what they are doing & really don’t care that you’re standing there. The lady pharmacist is the worst but the whole staff just sucks. Do yourself a favor, Go next door to Publix
I stood at the drop-off counter for several minutes before I was acknowledged at all, even though the girl who would eventually help me was literally right in front of me. And when I returned to pick up, she handed me my prescription without explanation, even though my doctor specifically told me there were symptoms I needed to know about, and the pharmacist would explain them to me. Pretty disappointing experience.
The pharmacy switched my new prescription from one maker to another without letting me know. So when I got home and saw that the pack I got had a completely different brand name than what me and my doctor discussed that morning, I googled to see if this was a different generic but after not finding any useful information online I understandably called the pharmacy to see what was going on. The pharmacist had an attitude and took a tone with me saying that the meds I got was the same thing just from a different company and that my prescription allowed for substitutions (the last part is correct). Newsflash: it is not my job to know the names of medications and their equivalents, it is understandable that I was concerned and called to inquire when I saw a totally different brand name on the pack than on my prescription, AND IT IS LITERALLY YOUR JOB TO EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE. Not to mention, I cant comprehend how the fact that my medication was substituted with the same thing just from a different company wasnt mentioned when I picked it up! To underline, this is not a commonly-used generic name that an everyday person would know off the bat. Youd think someone wouldve thought Hmm maybe this person will actually read the name on the pack of meds theyre about to swallow and we should tell them whats up. This goes beyond bad customer service tbh Ill do myself a favor and walk 50 ft to Publix pharmacy next time, or, you know, the other (literally) 9 pharmacies in 2 mile radius.
They have completely destroyed my loyalty to this pharmacy with the Walgreens conversion. What a bunch of bungling idiots and an archaic system for prescriptions. At every turn they have dropped the ball during this conversion. Took over 2.5 hours of my time and five days to get prescriptions refilled.

2022-02-16The only reason Im giving it 3 stars is because of Justice and the Store Manager, Chris, who was willing to rectify the situation. If you ever see a woman named Hannah behind the counter, your best bet is to run the other way. She has the nastiest attitude Ive ever encountered, and shes supposed to be a manager on duty. She is a horrible representation of Walgreens, and I am surprised they even allow someone with such terrible customer service skills to work at the store. I understand times are hard, and businesses are suffering from staff shortages, but as long as Hannah works at this Walgreens, staffing shortages will be the least of their problems.

2022-04-21I have been using the pharmacy for two years now. The people working at the pharmacy are really mean. Closing 15 minutes early and refusing to give me my medication I need. I asked if everyone was on break and a women looked at me with absolute disgust and asked me if I could read…everyone else not in the pharmacy has been nice and very helpful.

2022-06-04This Walgreens location on Howell Mill Road in Atlanta is a good Walgreens that has everything that you need from a Walgreens and much more. The location is very convenient and easy to get in and out of with exactly what you need.

2022-07-08The 2 associates that worked in the front tonight was more concerned about their conversation then checking me out correctly and showing proper customer service …

2021-11-29Renee was very rude to the customers & staff. Walked in to her screaming at another employee and treating them with so much disrespect. very inappropriate and made me very uncomfortable. Someone definitely needs to have a talk with this lady about how to talk to people. Young light skin male employee was very helpful and nice I would have walked out if I was him.

2022-03-01This was my first time ever going to this Walgreens today but I was just so over whelmed with the customer service from the cashier Hanna I just had to at least write this review.Hanna was so calm and patient with me while I was using digital coupons during my transaction.she is such a great employee and represents Walgreens well!

2021-05-26The store at this location has it together, but the pharmacy is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Prescriptions are consistently filled late, medication availability seems to be much lower than their competitors (like CVS), and the more often than not, the pharmacy staff members have been rude or irritable. It is very difficult to speak to someone on the phone here; an automated answering machine attempts to do the work for them but it cant ever seem to answer the questions I have and refuses to connect me to someone in the store. The only reason I use this place is because my insurance has some sort of exclusivity deal with Walgreens. Its gotten so bad Im considering changing insurance companies.

2021-09-05This is actually a very caring, very friendly pharmacy, EXCEPT for the actual pharmacy. Cindy is one of the cruelest humans I’ve ever encountered. She has a God-complex beyond measure. Those of you reading know. What ever happened to the hippocratic oath of nurturing patients? The first several incidents, I turned my cheek, thinking she’s had a really bad day. But no, sadly I honestly believe she makes it a point to make us, the patients, feel beneath her.

2021-10-27Pediatrician electronically submitted prescription for newborn at 11:15 am on Tuesday. I went to pick up prescription at 12:30 and they had not received it despite the pediatrician confirming it delivered. He sent again. I then called at 5 pm (closes at 6 pm) to confirm receipt and that prescription was filled. They didn’t have medicine in stock, nor did they call to inform me of this. I asked if they could send the prescription to another pharmacy. She said she would send it to Publix next door and would call to confirm they had medicine while transferring. Pharmacist called me back and said she went ahead and transferred the prescription but Publix Howell Mill doesn’t actually have the medicine either. Why transfer a prescription knowing they don’t have the medicine?!?! Publix transferred prescription back to Walgreens bc they had ordered the correct dosage and it was scheduled to be in stock next day. I called the next day at 1:15 pm to confirm the prescription was filled. Pharmacy told me prescription would be filled within 30 mins. I went to pickup prescription at 1:40 PM AND THEY’RE CLOSED FOR LUNCH FROM 1:30-2 PM!!!!!! Worst customer service experience in the history of pharmacies. No communication. Terrible hours. Bad attitudes. I will be looking for another pharmacy to switch to immediately.

2022-02-02Always a long line for pharmacy. They are always short Short staff up front and those working are super slow and careless that people are waiting.
