Super easy to get in and out of this store! I need to remember to stop here when I have just a few things to pick up and Im in a hurry. Plus they has three items I was looking for that the Big Walmart didnt have (sesame seeds, Hughes Sugar Free BBQ Sauce and chopped Kale).
I love shopping at this store! This store was one of the first stores in town to institute a mask policy with their employees and their customers. I appreciate their dedication to safety and cleanliness. From the pharmacy to the customer service desk, the employees always go above and beyond to help you. I also appreciate that Wayne, the store manager, always takes the time to say hello and ask how Im doing. Thanks go to all the hard working employees for making my shopping experience more enjoyable.

We cannot say enough good things this store. Its like grocery stores used to be. Small and easy to shop. The employees are always friendly, greeting customers and helpful finding things. We also use the Pharmacy and the same compliments apply. Wonderful service. Always Knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and make recommendations. Wish these stores and this staff were everywhere.
This is where we like to go and get out groceries and out medicines filled. The people are so friendly and the food is fresh. Its so much easier to do the shopping at a Wal-Mart dedicated to just groceries. I feel like this was the best idea yet. We go, drop off the prescriptions, shop, by the time were done, so is the medicines. Perfection in Wal-Mart format. I only wish it was blue lol 🤣.
Produce is somewhat limited due to size of store along with somewhat limited selection in all areas. Store is clean and employees are nice and helpful when asked.
I wish they’d put one of these in my town. I try my best not to shop at Walmart but I don’t mind shopping at these little ones. The selection is good, the prices are good, it’s not exhaustingly enormous, and the employees are actually courteous unlike the big stores.

The store was clean and they had the wipes for the cart. The store was not packed. I got great customer service from a manager. Reason for 4 ⭐s..... They dont have Apple Pay or Samsung Pay AND we ALL know the Waltons (Sam Waltons family) can afford to switch out the debit machines.. Their billionaires for God sake! 🙄😒 Who wants to touch a machine with COVID still being in these streets??? Not me...

This place is a health hazard. Ive given them so many chances. Every time I go in I find something expired or out of stock. Someone needs to be fired.

I love going to this Walmart because Im always in and out. No matter if Im sending off money or buying groceries. There is never a long line. You are required to where masks but i think that goes for every walmart and family dollar from my experience. There is also a medicine and cleaning supplies aisle. So its not just food here.
Update:Grocery Pickup with this Walmart is becoming difficult. Have had a lot of mishaps in the last several months.Good prices but this place is almost always crowded. Of course several items they have in the main store are not in this one. Parking is good. Love getting gas here.

Great place to get a vaccination.While walking around the store it seemed cluttered though. Pallets on every aisle of incoming merchandise. Couldnt that be done when shoppers arent present?
Similar to hometown grocery store with a pharmacy. The employees stopped to greet me and ask how I was doing
I shop here mostly because it is convenient, but the fact that the people who work here have been consistently friendly and helpful is the reason I feel good about shopping here. The pharmacy staff is also great. There are a few items I have to get elsewhere, but I realize that is a function of the size of the store. All of the basics are here.
Pretty busy on the weekends. If you go throughout the week it is fairly quiet. I like going here over the bigger walmart just because of that. The employees are also friendly here.
Absolutely super service from a cashier named Kathy. I was so weary from the days moving chores and she was lovely to me. Also have noted in past trips to the store that the prices are definitely well under the prices of other grocery stores in the area and the store is well-stocked and fresh. Enjoy my shopping experiences there. Sorry to be leaving the area.
Open 24/7 good place to shop. Best gas price in the area when I purchased. Easy place to setup an appointment for and receive a COVID19 booster or vaccine.

Walmart Neighborhood Market is smaller than their normal stores. They sell groceries and other items, very nice and clean. Theres also a Walmart gas station here with great gas prices!
This is a nice STORE it is bigger than it looks from the outside and has alot of food products,and i did not see toys in here,i think it is for groceries and medicines but i like it very much, been there i think 3 or 4 times, it is close to me and has alot of items without the hustle and bustle, of a big store!!!

I have always had a positive experience with all the cashiers. I have found on numerous occasions the shelves are not adequately stocked. It would also be advantageous to stock more Gardien food choices. More vegan options such as sour cream and cheese would be great!
Good place to shop but not work. Monica the girl thats over online grocery is rude as hell. Very nasty attitude. Management backs her up and everybody looks at you mean, dont speak in the online grocery section. Hell felt like i was walking into a prison.
The staff at Walmart neighborhood market is good willing to give assistant whenever a customer need assistant they have merchandise that are reasonable low prizes
Helpful folks, easy to find everything, quick in and out, unlike the super WalMarts, where its usually a dreadful outing.
Smaller parking lot and smaller everything gave it a much more pleasant feel than the large one nearby. It was not crowded and I was able to park close, which means a lot with three kids. The deli did not have the same combo pricing available for Prima meats and cheeses like the super Walmart, which is very unfortunate. Otherwise, choices were great and the produce section super clean and pleasing.
Its very neat and organized and has all the items that you need for your kitchen and other household. They have plenty of food for your pets and other things that your pets might need. There are plant for gardening and for decorating. You can even fill your gas needs etc. Its great for handicap and plenty parking. You might say that its a one stop shopping place.
My experience was pleasant because I was a bit turned around going through a self check out aisle. The young lady was pleasantly helpful.
Jasmin that was working the express check out like today was the most personable cashier I have ever had at this Wal-Mart. She was very quick, but also had the best attitude.
Usually great. But today not so much. Wanted to buy a gift card and pay cash for it, but couldnt do that at self check. So I got in line for one of only two registers open. One went on forever because there was a pricing dispute, and the other one went on forever because the customer could not find the card he wanted to use. I waited behind each of them for 10 minutes. The two times a manager came to help, she would not open another register so I could pay for my one item. I always loved the convenience of quick in-and-out, but today showed I cant count on that consistently.
Not familiar with this store so it took me awhile to shop. Most of the employees were very helpful, wanted to buy w/m cloth she said (casher) we dont sell them. Found them on way out had to come back in to store to purchase.
Everything where I need it stop their food excellent couldnt ask for a better store be honest with you thank you all and customer service out of this world believe me they are as some nice people very cool people
I had a great experience in the deli. I needed a sandwich tray and Nikita was so very helpful, accommodating and friendly. She provided me with excellent customer service. I will definitely use this deli again.
Theyre so close to where I work, so Im here constantly. Very friendly and attentive staff. Mainly a grocery store, and you can get non-food items as well, though no where near the selection of a Supercenter. But thats what makes it a great place to pop in and out of.
I love the fact I can buy produce, motor oil to greeting cards, good location and handicap accessible. I never give 5 stars to leave room for improvements
A decent store with helpful staff. Some shelves are virtually empty way too often; I dont know if this is because there arent enough stockers I just know its irritating. Also, pic is misleading; they close at midnight.
Lots of supply out of stock but its smaller in size so orders have to be put in sooner for water bread witch is out sourced and just ok on cleanliness
I enjoy shopping at these smaller Walmart locations much more than the super centers. They are laid out in a much more organized fashion and appear to be nicer in general. If ever given a choice for grocery shopping, I will always shop here over the super center, however there are better grocery stores out there.

I love this place. Its a small Walmart, that has everything the huge, super Walmarts have...but, without the throngs of people and gigantic, hard to navigate store. This store, is the perfect size for me. Plus, the workers are extremely helpful.
I placed a pickup order yesterday and was told between 2-3 that it’ll be ready. I checked in at 2:10 and they confirmed it, but I sat out here until 2:45 before anything happened. A lady came out and told me she didn’t see me sitting out here. Once the person finally came to put the groceries in the car another customer showed up and was done in five minutes. I’m irritated and now I’m late for work. Will not use this Walmart pickup location anymore
Always a clean store and everything is pretty easy to find ,very convenient. They always seem to have enough help also.

I work strange hours so most places are closed by the time Im out of work and the Walmart on Epps is just a little too far for my comfort. I like that I can now drive around the corner from my home at any hour to find something to cook. Its also convenient having a 24 hour establishment with great prices for other tiny emergencies. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist.
This Walmart is acceptable during the day but dont bother trying to go here in the evening. Staff disappears entirely at night even when the first register says its open. Youre lucky if they leave a self-checkout available for you to use. Otherwise you are stuck wandering the store in search of an employee willing to check you out. And your presence will be treated as a massive inconvenience during this time. If you are unlucky enough to need assistance with something, well, good lucky getting anyone to actually help you. Every time Ive had a question for staff after 9pm they act like theyre doing a favor by talking to you. And by talking to you, I mean telling you whatever your question is about is not their department and everyone else is on lunch, sorry so youre SOL.
Now I love this Wallpaper! They all no matter what color treats me so nice and is very helpful in finding something I need. The girls in the Deli are very sweet and helpful.

Had the most courtesy staff. It was my first time at this location and any staff member I asked where something was didnt just say what isle but took me there and even got the items off the shelf for me. Produce lacked a lot but everything else looked good especially for a small store.
Found what i needed fairly quickly and i didnt have to deal with the press of a crowd like i normally would have if i had gone to a regular walmart. i think every large town should have a walmart like this too
I love coming here for my grocery essentials without having to go to a full size Walmart. The selection and prices are virtually the same as a Walmart Supercenter but is much less crowded. The parking lot and aisles are less congested and easier to navigate and I NEVER have to wait for a register to checkout when I shop here. The only downside is that this location is primarily designed for grocery and other small household goods, so if you like for Walmart to be your one stop shop for everything, then you may need to visit a full size Supercenter.
I enjoy shopping here, quiet and smaller store but has everything you need. Produce always looks great and cannot beat the low prices. My go-to store for groceries when you need them quick!

I like that its a quieter more calmed shopping here than the large super walmart on Epps bridge, however they dont have a lot of items that then the super walmart.
Good staff, clean, new, attractive displays, cheap gasoline (& diesel) too. The Markets a new concept for Walmart, all groceries (plus fuel). Worth going just to check it out.
I visited the new Walmart Neighborhood Market last week, and I will be back. It was so pleasant to shop for groceries at a good price in a smallish, clean, well organized store. The clerks were friendly and seemed happy we were there. When I go to the grocery in the big Walmart on Epps Bridge, it is sometimes overwhelming. It think it is the huge size of the store. It even has a kind of roar sound because of all the people and space. I am usually exhausted when I leave. The new market was smaller and quieter. I just liked it. What a shame that the residents of downtown Athens were prevented from having such a nice grocery store built within walking distance by the Walmart haters. Oh well, their loss is my gain.
They were sold out of some of the basic items I came to get. Not as much selection as the centers, however the congestion was way better!
Just leaving Walmart. Today is Wednesday and it is 6:05 PM and first I just want to say that you guys have great prices however the customer service is absolutely ridiculous. I mean can I get a thank you please or I have a nice day? How about a smile? Would that absolutely kill you? The lady that checked me out was rude and very unpleasant. And when I come back next week shell be the same way. Managers you need to check your cashiers.
Did online grocery order and pick up.Very prompt and courteous. Got what ordered and few substitutions were very satisfactory.
The aisles are fairly wide. I recall hearing Im So Excited by The Pointer Sisters. Its possible that a customer or an employee was smoking cannabis in the parking lot, as a member of our party remarked about a skunky odor. There is a good selection of items, but less variety than what you would find at most other large grocery stores. I took a picture of a face mask product because it was visually stunning. When the checkout line became too long, an associate opened another lane. The employees were polite and looked happy. A young child cried in the background through most of the visit.
Good especially if you need just the pharmacy and money center easiest in and out for them in three in Athens
Terrible experience here every time I have went. Wont return! Produce looks awful. Have seen rotten meat on the shelf. Some ( not all ) of the cashiers are very unpleasant. They must really hate thier job I guess.
Not as many choices as a supercenter but you dont have to deal with tons of people either. It definitely shows with the employees. Every employee I walked by smiled and acknowledged me and seemed happy to see me.
Great service. They put your lid for your fountain drink in a sandwich bag separate from other lids so no one is touching other lids.

Sometimes you just dont want to navigate to 500 square acre Walmart. If you want food items or most of the popular Pantry or bathroom items this is a quick stop in and out. Its on a major thoroughfare, so getting in and out is not as easy as most other Walmarts.
Was at this Walmart today and was overcharged and when I tried to call the store, no one answered the phone.Let it ring and ring, hung up and redialed the number over and over and no one answered. Called the pharmacy and they tried to get someone to answer but they did not. Asked pharmacy for District Office number but they said they did not know it. Finally when the assistant manager answered,he said the cashier was suppose to answer it. This doesnt sound right and why didnt he answer it. I like shopping at this store but they need to get their act together.

This is my new favorite grocery. The young cashiers/associates are very pleasant and helpful. On this visit the older supervisor was not as helpful. She assisted grudgingly. Still my favorite place.

If you are looking for a ♿ parking space...you might have to walk a ways. Customers park anywhere they find a close spot & dont care if its illegal or not. Management refuses to do anything about it & says that it is a law matter and THEY CANT enforce it. What A Joke!. PARK ELSEWHERE, STUPIDITY IS NOT A HANDICAP! The upside... Bathrooms were clean.

The Walmart in Loganville seemed to not care that my little handicapped scooter was not working. I sat in produce for over thirty minutes stuck while my mom shopped. I realized that after we had called for another scooter or assistance no one was coming. I complained to a little manager guy in the food court who looked at me as though what I was saying was insignificant and not a big deal. I dont think he cared much that every time I come there scooters are broken and unavailable. Only at the Loganville Walmart. Otherwise the store is fine.
This store is so much better than my local Walmart. The brands of clothes and styles are so much better! I love visiting this Walmart when we take a trip to Athens.
The best store in all of Athens! Look out Publix, Kroger and Ingles. Clean and friendly. I love the new orange customer service and the staff there are grade A. What I like the most about the store is their meat department. The 2 gentleman who work the area are so kind and helpful. They work it like a fine tunned machine and I always stop to talk with both of them when I shop there.Great store! I wont go anywhere else.
I do a lot of shopping here. Same food as a Walmart supercenter. People are very friendly. Also do all of our prescriptions here. Pharmacy staff is wonderful and will go out of their way to help you.
Great place to shop . Only down side they need to teach their cashiers how to bag food. George put my cleaning products and bathroom products in with my produce and food. He never greated us or said goodbye.

There is a young lady with blond hair cashier and an older black lady their that are very friendly helpful and always speak there is one other lightskin young lady in the return thats very helpful but the rest are not friendly do not speak seem to have attitudes on the regular very disheartening....the 3 i mentioned are about the brightest their...as for their selection of goods prices are great just wish it was a more customer friendly place to shop ...i kinda get down when i go their to shop .....
I like to go in this store when I need a few grocery items and do not want to fight the huge crowds of the super Walmart. But as per typical Walmart there are never enough people working registers
This is where I go to get something really quick and something I am familiar with. Store is open 24/7 fully stocked just a smaller Walmart and doesn’t carry what you will see in a Super Center Walmart, like clothing, tools etc.
Lets be honest, its Wal-Mart. To be frank, I do not go for the service or I would be extremely disappointed. I go simply for the convenience of the area and the pricing.Wal-Mart seems to be the same everywhere in the country. Unfortunately they pay employees so poorly that most qualify for some sort of a tax funded medical or food program. So this is the classic example of Wal-Mart pushing service to the side for the convenience of lining their own pockets. Dont expect anything different from this location.
Walmart is really unpleasant for me. They have gone down to about three cashiers. If Im paying you why am I ringing up my products?Everyone who works there ...if you can find ONE. Unpleasant.
I really like this neighborhood (mo grocery..less other stuff) Wal-Mart. It is set high on a hilltop with one smaller sign..so if not local..may need to use gps location.

I didnt think I would like the market; and considered it an abbreviation of the real WalMart. Boy, was I wrong. I love. love, love it and it has become my favorite WalMart in town. It takes me back to when stores were not giant behemoths of endless isles and walking. Go in, get what you want, self check or not, and be on your way. Go ahead, try it!! Like me, Im sure youll fall in love with it! :)
Omg I went today to the Walmart Neighborhood Market it was so amazing. The products are fresh n the prices are very descent. My whole family loved it. We cant wait to go back n the staff are super friendly not like the other Walmarts.
I prefer here rather than the large Wal-Mart! Its so much easier to jyst run in & get what you need rather than fighting the crowd!!! Im disabled too so ofcourse its ALOT EASIER to get around.
I buy mostly household items, large boxes of K cups and large Hot Chocolate. Laundry products. Nothing like meat or fresh veggies. But prices are good.

The cashier was really nice but the train was spoiled and they didnt have any lids to fit the cups and there was puddles of sticky tea all in the floor

Convenient, clean, and friendly. All things you dont usually associate with wal mart. Yet this store is different. They even have a cuatom pizza bar. This should be the example wal mart for other wal marts.
This place is dangerous. I swear I have been going to this store everyday just to pick up little things. Quarter, nickel, and dime my way to being broke is how this store works. Brand new as of now, clean, simple, no complaints.
I like that there is a small location with well stocked food items. My only complaint is that every time I have been there I have a wait at the register. At night it is the worst. I have even walked out due to the long wait.

The gas price advertised on the sign this AM was 193.9 per gal but when i pumped the gas i noticed that it was actually 2.139. when i asked the attendant, she said that she knew that the sign was wrong. no apology. no offer to give me back the difference.

They had everything I needed but when I went to check out there was only one line so I did self check out and needed assistance for age verification on an item and no one was around the light on top was going off two different employees one even being a manager walked by and didnt offer any assistance so I finally asked one of anyone was working in that area and she said she guess she was and then helped

I called several times to place a party order and got no answer. Finally drove over there and did it in person.

2022-05-01I always have problems with this store. Yesterday I had a pickup order that was supposed to be picked up at 7 a.m. by 9 a.m. it still wasnt ready. I finally had to go in store to get the items myself. While I was in there, there wasnt one single person pulling orders. On another occasion I was shopping in store, and asked the employee to price match an item for me, that was cheaper online at walmart.com. She told me she never heard of that. I asked for a manager and she told me they havent price matched in about 5 years. I showed her in Walmarts 2022 corporate policy, where is specifically said they price match, and she told me it wasnt true. At that point, I just left the item, and went to another Walmart and had it price matched.

2022-05-10Went to return a Wal-Mart brand, defective product. After waiting at the service counter for 10 min for someone to come help me, I was informed the service counter was closed and no one cound help me with an exchange. People were unfiendly and unhelpful. It is ridiculous to someone to come back later especially with gas prices the way they are!

2021-12-09Its a remarkable little store. The wonderful aromas from the deli filled the store. There are empty shelves just like in all other grocery stores right now. But I found it easy to run in and pick up the two items I needed.

2017-09-03Great store, clean and well kept. Parking lot is always really low when I get here. Really enjoy shopping here much better than the other walmarts. Doesnt feel like a crappy Walmart store, good job! I will he coming back for sure.

2022-04-25The convenience of a Walmart superstore with the accessibility of a neighborhood grocery store. Most of the items are in stock and the associates are not rude. I shop there all the time and suggest you start too.Update: frequent problems with freezers in store hope they get that fixed. Didnt affect quality of my shopping experience.

2021-05-16I have been using the grocery pick up service regularly since the pandemic. I loved the fact that you can order and pay for what you want online and pick it up later that day or the next morning. They have a parking lot at the side of the building for you to park and check in on the app, then a staff member comes out and packs the groceries in your car and youre good to go. Its also a free service. For the most part, its been good (there were a few hiccups, but understandable), but the last two times they had forgotten items from my order. The first time they were apologetic, and I returned to the store to get the items I had paid for. The last time it seemed like they didnt believe me when I told them they missed 3 protein items from my order. I had to call multiple times and be placed on hold to eventually speak with a manager. I didnt get an apology and I had to again return to the store for the missing items. It has lately been an inconvenience instead of a time saver. They clearly need quality better quality control. IF I continue to use Walmart pickup for groceries, I now know I need to get out of my car and go through all the bags before leaving the parking lot to ensure everything in my order is really there.

2022-06-232019They sold me milk that expired the day before (I didnt check the dates on any of the milks I purchased, 2 of 3 were good), and the onion I bought to cook with supper was completely rotten after the first three layers. I went in for an in-between grocery trip to get dairy and veggies for my family. This was my first time there, and Ive never had this bad of an experience with the products at any Wal-Mart. For a store that was created specifically for groceries, and is so small compared to a regular Wal-Mart, you would think the quality would be better. Its worse with less variety to choose from and smaller quantities of those items on the shelves. Very disappointed, and Im not going back.If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up! 2021-11-03If I could rate any lower I would!!! I use to only go to Walmart.... After today, I will never step foot into ANY Walmart again. Any issues you may have... Are not resolved, you are just shuffled to someone else or they dont even bother to answer. Tried to have groceries delivered and 1st order of the day was delivered to another address... So that charge I will have to wait for 7-10 days for that refund... Then the 2nd order of the day was cancelled by Walmart and I was never notified... And again I get to wait another 7-10 days for that refund... Really what is going on with this store. Use to be the best...not anymore!
