Walmart Neighborhood Market in other cities:
Like all Walmarts never enough cashiers to get you out. Waited longer in line then I was shopping 😤Even worse then before. Plan on waiting to only use the scan and go lanes as that was all they had opened. Waited in line to pay for TWO items. No excuse for the lack of customer service. Saw plenty of Walmart employees wondering around 🤔 but none on the cash register lanes. 😡😤😠🤬😤😡🤬😠
As I was walking in an associate told me I needed to wear a mask. I was a little confused as I have not needed a mask at this store for months now since I have become fully vaccinated. After I left I called the store to speak to a manager and get clarification on this matter. The woman who answered the phone told me the manager was not available. When I asked to speak to whomever is in charge she hung up on me. When I called back and asked to speak to the manager again she hung up on my again. Very rude employees.
Very quiet and clean place to shop.Today I saw a family, young lady, she was changing diaper of toddler and left the trash just next to her car door, very disgusting specially when you have trash deposit all around of parking, How hard is that your mama is not in every where to clean your mess. Education, education!!! I mean your grandma!!!
Theres always some item that I cant find here but is easily available at every other local grocery store, so whenever I shop here, I wind up having to go somewhere else too. There are also frequent big lines at checkout, problems and malfunctions with the checkout machines, and nobody from the store to help. Been stuck waiting for help for embarrasingly long amounts of time, and more than once wanted to just drop the groceries and split.
I purchased a twin pack of shaving gel from Wal-Mart today the price on the tag showed $2.79 for the twin pack. At the register they charged me $5.17 for it. I explained to the lady at customer service they overcharged me for my item i even showed her the sales price. She tells me its a misprint I cant go by the price thats on there. Its $5.17 you can take it or not but walmart cant take that los its a misprint. I showed her the sign that said $5.17 for a four pack of shaving gel. She walked off saying it doesnt come in four pack thats a misprint also. I tried to explain that Im going by the price thats posted for sale and youre telling me its a misprint and I cannot have it at that price. She said I suggest you take it up with corporate. I asked if its a misprint why arent you taking the sale price down. She was very rude and disrespectful I used to love walmart but lately their customer care have went down.
Terrible pick up and delivery for groceries. I was on bed rest and for two day this store did not deliver my groceries and when I cancel and chose pick up, they continued not to prepare my order! I have to call customer service several times. My pick up was for 7 am and now 7 pm and still no notification of it will be fulfilled.
Same shopping experience and pricing except with less store to deal with. Easier parking! Aisles are tighter more clutter. Self-checkout is pushed hard. At most time it is all that is open so they don’t really want you to stock up here. I guess it’s just a large convenience store. I wonder why they even have large shopping carts?
Maddox who was stocking today near the meat and fish section was Beyond helpful in assisting me to find Beyond Meat lol . I was so lost and confused I almost left for Kroger which is where I normally shop and know where the vegan options are. Maddox used an app or the website to find where my item which was super cool, no one has ever done that for me before.I was able to find all of my items today in one stops thanks to that doll. Major props. This Walmart is not much further from my house than Kroger and I’ll definitely be stopping in more. In this day and age customer service goes a looooooong way!Receipt ID# 7QCSSJ128WNV
They expect you to print out an e-gift card from their company in order to use it. Under the current circumstances I would think contactless payment would be a preferred form pf payment. I was informed by several employees that this form of payment was acceptable only for the manager to come out and be very standoffish, even going as far as to speak negatively about the employees who I had previously spoken with. So to put it all into a streamlined thesis, I selected and scanned $150 worth of groceries and was told that my form of payment, which was bought through them, was not going to be accepted and I was asked to leave.
In general, it’s ok. Walmart prices without the crowds. The produce selection is of better quality. What I don’t like, and this has been getting worse, management is not very customer service focused, and just today, I witnessed a manager berate, loudly, an employee 8 ft from where I was. I used to like shopping here because I could get in and out fairly quickly, but then they started putting locks on the detergent. I’ll just stick to getting my prescriptions filled here since it’s a smaller store and the pharmacy folks are pleasant to deal with.
I shop here 4-7 times a week. With the current manager, this has become a great place to shop. Since he has been in residence, employees seem happier and are all very friendly- they greet customers all the time. Produce is constantly being rotated so its nice and fresh. This is a small store so they obviously cant stock everything but great selection. I can pick up fresh salmon for dinner, new products seen in commercials show up here quickly..and diversity..I found Manuka honey this week, something I wouldnt expect! The manager is on the floor a lot of the time, putting up stock or whatever needs done -speaks to customers, very personable and upbeat. Highly recommend this location.🙂
Customer service is always great at this location. The store is very small so they run out of products quickly. The pharmacy is great havent had any problems with them yet. Restrooms are clean the majority of the time. Lines can get long at checkout but overall they work very efficiently.
Ive only been to a this type of Walmart once before and my fiance had never been so we decided to stop here. The first section we stopped at was the fruit and veggies and we bought so many fruits and veggies bc they were so fresh. All the shelves were fully stocked and there was no wait at the checkout. It was nice to come and shop at a Walmart without all the Riff Raff.
The lady that worked in customer service said she couldnt do my wic voucher. Which they have done it before and she always seem clueless every time you ask her something. I like going to this walmart cause its closer to the house but Ill rather drive to another location where they know what to do.
Always clean but Im concerned about the employee safety. Walmart needs to have the buggy assist to assist with buggies in the lot. They way the employees move multiple buggies with their bodies/back there will be an injury or injuries bound to happen which will cost Walmart more money in the long run. Protect your workers so that they can continue to work.
I get so sick of going in to the Neighborhood grocery stores and having workers stand up front and watch the lines snaking around the store. People everywhere and only one full service check out line. I was saved when the lady in customer service came over and pulled some of us over to check out. All the self service lines were full. Im spending my money and refuse to work while their employees stand around chatting. On my way out I told the guy standing up front that it is a shame there are more customers working than employees. My primary store is Kroger, but I thought I could run in a grab a few things.
Poor service. Bought some stuff online, went to pick it up and they couldnt find one of the items and time them more than half hour to find it. Picked up a dog flea need the same day along with a few other stuff and the cashier didnt take the security box off the flea med and for whatever reason, the alarm didnt go off when I walked out with it so I didnt even know that was security case. I was just glad to be out of there since my quick trip turned into an hour and a half event. Kids were hungry and cranky since it was past their dinner time and almost bed time. Anyways, tried to open the case once I got home and I couldnt, so I took it back to the store to ask someone to open it for me since I was having a hard time opening the case. As soon as I walked into the store, the alarm beeped and a young lady asked me for the receipt and I told her I didnt have it, so she said to come with her and brought me to another lady named Jo, she refused to show me her name tag, and she said she cant give me the med back without the receipt. So I had to go back home and get the receipt with my 3yr old. Once I brought the receipt, and Jo verified the purchase, there was no apology or anything but I was gonna let it be but Jo has the nerve to tell me that I need to watch and make sure the security case is taken off when I buy it. The way she said it as if this whole thing was my fault and could have been avoided if I was more careful, instead of apologizing for their carelessness irked me. So I told her it shouldnt be my responsibility, but the cashiers. And she mumbled something under her breath and shook her head as if I was being ridiculous. So I told her I will be filing a complaint, and that if accidents keep happening at the same location, there is something that needs to be fixed there. I know accidents happen, but the way they dealt with their mistake and their attitude was very unprofessional.
As long as you dont have high expectations for great customer service or everything being in stock every visit then this Walmart is fine. Nothing exceptional to speak of but nothing horrible to say either. It is just like how every other Walmart has become. Good prices on most stuff that is in stock but thats it.
Went there on my lunch break to grab a few groceries and something quick to eat. The girls at the deli/bakery were conversing and seemed to not care that a line was forming. I ordered 6 piece wings and fries. The wings tasted like they had been sitting there since yesterday. I never eat at walmart deli, now I recall why.Yuck! However, the check out lanes were awesome.
I use go early in the morning or late at night. But the night staff are really friend and even help out when I have questions bout products for my hair . They helped me big time on stuff like hair product and baby material. Other than that I usually go there for the ice cream. *thumbs up* (dont know about the day time crew)
Went here to switch it up from going to my usual store. Mistake number 1. Mistake number 2 going in thinking I was gonna find some fresh meat. Mistake number 3 thinking I would go in and get fresh produce. In both cases I had to decide not to get anything based on meats or produce looking bad, and even brown meat in the package. Enough brown that it was there I know much longer than the out of sale date. Not a good trip will not return
Clean and well stocked. Overall friendly staff. Prices for certain items may be more expensive compared to the super Walmarts, items such as milk and eggs. Overall great. However there is a rude lady who claims to be manager but hides her tag if you ask her anything. Stray far away from her.
This Wal-Mart needs more employees to be able to take care of the customers. The customer service is horrible the employees have an attitude when they talk to you and only one person to oversee the do it your self lanes but they dont work and trying to get someone to check you out its dam near impossible.time to get my items 10 - 15 minutes, time to check out 30 minutes. Something is not right with that
Very busy marketplace Wally World. Parking lot stays full and people park right on the curb any time of the day. The stock is usually at 50% because it’s always so busy. Deals are decent as per Walmart usual. Customer service is nonchalant. They will help you out but at no hurry. A few are in good spirit, but most look like they hate their job. A bit better customer service could get a 4/5, but otherwise a regular marketplace Walmart
I mainly use this location for the pharmacy I absolutely adore the to pharmacists and the head pharmacist has always gone out of her way to really help me when I need help. Also because Im young and take a lot of medicine some pharmacists give me the side eye but these people never do and make me feel almost normal. The only downside to this location, in my opinion, is that if you want to check out in the main portion of the Walmart (having bought groceries or something) there is usually only one lane open for someone to check you out; everything else is self check out. Which is fine, if you only have a few small things, but incredibly frustrating when you are behind two people with two large carts full of groceries, and the machine is not behaving properly, or the person doesnt know how to use it. What should be a quick in-and-out, can end up being an hour and a 1/2 process just because of the self check outs. If they would instead open more registers I think things would work out much better. Otherwise, I rather like the location its a good grocery store and an even better pharmacy.
The pharmacist is a complete liar. I called and was told that my prescription for my medication could be filled as long as I had the paper form of it because it has been filled at Walmart in Birmingham yet I bring the prescription in after driving 3 and 1/2 hours even though Walmart has filled it for years Im told that he cannot feel it because it is out of state. I explained that I just moved here and cannot find a doctor yet that is accepting patients and was told that as long as I had a paper prescription it could be filled yet he will not fill it if anyone has any suggestions on local psychiatrist please reply
This is the cleanest store I have ever been in. The employees are very nice and very helpful. I had trouble looking for the dog food and a associate named Samantha helped me out. She asked how my shopping experience was. And if I found everything I was looking for. I will be coming back to this store again l.
I went there to buy a lawnmower for my son. The service was awful I understood it was after lawn and garden was closed. So I left my name and number and asked them to check the price and call me. They said someone will call me in the Am. Long story short they never called so I went there and guess what I saw? My name and number on the lawnmower for everyone to see. I asked for the manager he came and reduced the price but he told me I would have to put it in the shop he disappeared. After inspecting the lawnmower further I realized that there was oil where the gas goes. So I wanted to see the manager again because this is serious.Everyone was looking and laughing but the manager Never came back. The cashier who was very pleasant went to him and came back with he said he would only do another 10%oil in the gas.Of course I didn’t buy it I feel my name and number plastered on the lawnmower on display in lawn and garden was a violation and the manager couldn’t explain i. They never called.i live in South Carolina and was visiting Georgia.Wow thanks Georgia
Now anyone who has ever visited one of their markets all know the prices are MUCH higher. Where they do that at? Sad to see this from Walmart where the prices are hard to beat if the store doesnt have it On sale and if they do Walmart matches it. Cereal are MUCH higher the ones in the bag. But as we all know it was about 10pm and the 2 lines they had open were long. The manager finally called for help them had the nerve to say to us why we didnt say anything??? Really???
This location Is always frustrating to go to, multiple times have been told different policies by different employees regarding their return policy. They do not follow the same policy as other Walmarts and neighborhood markets. Instead of the standard 90 day return policy on those items they apparently have a 30 day return policy. It’s very inconvenient thing to have to go to another Walmart just return something because this neighborhood market makes up their own policy. And on top of that The sign in their store at customer service states a 90 day return policy but when I asked about that I was told at that sign was for the other stores but it’s in their store?
Customer service is horrible. If you don’t like working at Walmart then get a different job! Walmart is starting to force people to buy there brands only. Has anyone else noticed? Walmart now charges vendors for shelf space and wants the lowest price where they cannot afford to even sell Their product in a Walmart
I went there to cash a much needed money order in a dire situation. I was told they do not cash money Graham money orders. I drove all night looking for a place to cash my money order. The next day I found out they actually do cash money orders. The associate who turned me away was just lazy and didnt want to cash it. He is a young man, who wears contact lenses, with low cut hair who appears very effeminate. He just wanted to continue gossiping with customers and he felt inconvenienced by my needs as a customer.
Although it is a neighborhood market this Walmart has many good things which sometimes u wont find at some super center. But of course it is not supercenter so not everything is available here but for neighborhood market it is great. They have primo refill water. Parking is little weird but not bad and not crowded all the time.
The pharmacy has refused to give my husband 2 pills that are for his heart. The Doctor didnt reply and Walmart will not give him enough medication to get til tomorrow. What ever rules stops people from getting HEART MEDICATIONS is a ridiculous and dangerous rule. They are not the only ones at fault but, I can let other people know about Walmart.
Really nice an clean Walmart, the building used to be another supermarket but now it is a Walmart, they have most of the things that you might need but keep in mind that clothing and other areas like toys, landscaping and more are not part of this store, as it is mostly a supermarket.

2022-05-17I see a lot of comments about TVs and furniture or whatever but obviously they are talking about a different Walmart. The Walmart Marketplace doesn’t carry clothing or furniture or TVs. This place is clean, pretty well organized, sometimes there’s a long line but nothing too crazy, all self check out. Good place to run in for some quick groceries, prescriptions, detergent, toiletries, etc. and the staff is nice.

2022-06-30Quick, less traffic, great service and a solid selection. What more can you ask from a Walmart?Cool thing is they have a pharmacy. But no in-house bakery. But overall this is my go-to when I don’t need the variety of the Super Walmarts in the area.

2022-05-03Walmart Neighborhood Market, Lawrenceville GA. Located in the Northeast corner of Atlanta in Gwinnett county. Small Walmart store with most of the items found in a Walmart in general. Gets busy during rush hours and weekends. Self check out is a great option for quick in and out shopping. Subway and other stores in the same plaza. Clearly visible and easily accessible from most major roads

2022-04-18Great location. I always wanted to see what the neighborhood market version had to offer. Was slightly disappointed as it still had the walmart cramped feel... and every lane was self check out. The lines were long.

2022-02-26Worst customer service! It happened twice. The self check out scan items twice. No help around. No customer service. Only one cashier most of the time. I bought few items along with a cat litter. Alas! I did not even notice, it charged me twice. I called the store. Whenever I press 0 for customer service, the line get disconnected. Customer service closed after 8pm.Need to improve their customer service. I go to this store because it is closer to my home, otherwise, I prefer not to go to this store. Worst customer service!

2018-06-16Wal-Mart has just about everything you need for your home including food, furniture, and even Pets! (In most Wal-Marts) If you go to one with a greenery section, it has tons of plants and outdoor furniture. I absolutely love it there. Wal-Mart can occasionally have fast food restaurants INSIDE The store. Crazy Right? Thats why I love Wal-Mart so Much! I depend on it for mke and my familys needs and *sometimes* things we want.

2022-02-18One star because I called them to ask about the tvs and they told me they would connect me to someone in the electric department and when I got connected they hang up and I know there not closed because its 8:01 and the close at 11:00
