I love this local market because its extremely close to my home. I also love it because I dont have to walk thru a football field just to get milk and the parking is good. I really only go to a regular Walmart for groceries so this is just perfect for me and my family.
Nice clean store, great produce and prices. It’s a marketplace. If you need other items besides food go to a Super Walmart.

I understand theres a pandemic going on but its been over a year! Theyre still out of fresh produce theyre still out of Pepsi and Coke products. Theyre out of a lot of stuff! Walmart and its smaller but Ive been shopping here for 7 years and its never been this bad.
My all time walmart stop for my quick needs. The representative have always been kind and friendly. Will recommend to visit early in the morning or early afternoon. Its very busy in the afternoon and evening

This small store packs alot of punch. I usually find what I need, and they even carry fresh grapefruit sometimes now. Dont worry if you see lots of people, everyone works fast to get themselves checked out.
Not as crowded as a regular Walmart... Im not going for clothes or shoes anyway! They also have some products the other walmarts dont. Its more convenient.
Great to have a clean and well managed food market close in the neighborhood. Location helps me maintain my sanity from dealing with congested traffic and waiting in long checkout lines. Love my former place of training and employment.
Didnt have my Oysters, but Walmart did have everything else, that was needed.
Although not a full sized store, they have a great selection of groceries and other sundries that are reminiscent of a larger store. The employees are pretty nice and there isnt much of a wait to checkout. It is also a good place to pick internet purchases from if this store is closer.
Great variety of merchandise, prices sometimes a little higher than other actual grocery stores, but good shopping area, needs more car accessories section-
Went in to buy syringes for my insulin. And was told that I could not buy them. I have bought them at Walmart on East-West connector. Never had a problem. But today I was made to feel like a drug addict. Thanks Walmart pharmacy

I really like that this grocery store is sweet and to the point. Its not the size of a football field but has everything I need. I didnt give it 5 stars because when its not a busy time for them, they do not have any check out lanes with people checking you out. Only self serve and Im slow. I need a professional.
I love the fact that they have everything in one place and for relatively cheap. But the lines are always super long! They never have enough cashiers and I just never go there without having at least 30 free minutes to stand in line. Even the self checkouts are super slow. So thats not a place to make a quick stop when you just need to grab milk / something for dinner.
I like the marketplace, its convenient, if you just want groceries and you dont want to fight everything else. Its particularly nice if you are disabled because its smaller. Wish Walmart carried a better selection if Organic Breads. Every one of their Breads contained wheat, thats the very thing Im allergic to. I will give it 4 stars.
I mainly use the pharmacy. They have the same prices as the larger stores but the drive through makes it very convenient to grab my prescriptions after work without having to park and stand in long lines. The few times that Ive gone into the store was not bad at all. Its not as busy as the larger stores, has a nice variety of items and is very clean.
While they are a bit more convenient than the super centers they also have just a little bit higher prices on some items - not all items - just a few here & there. Anything that isnt human food should be purchased at the super centers. You really do pay for convenience.
Worst produce department I have seen in a long time. Ill not go back to shop.
Puertorican Bread, so sweet and buttery! Not all Walmarts carry it, and so glad we found it in case others looking for it! If you havent tried it, today is your day, youre welcome, thank me later!
This store has nice employees, easy to access, clean and well stocked. Much easier than fighting throw a Super Wal-Mart this is a small Wal-Mart neighborhood store. It serves the purpose the only complaint is they need more cashiers on duty. I get tired of scanning and bagging all of my own groceries.
Just a smaller version not a supercenter but you can still get in and get what you need and get out fairly quick just not a lot of variety and Im very disappointed that Walmart has quit carrying Mayfield milk
The two stars is not for wal mart, but for the two black girls with their horrible customer service and attitude. The first black girl ( Im African American by the way) with glasses and braces she was greeter. I asked her about returns and she just pointed without any words I just looked her. The second one had this weave that was just wrong and it took everything!in her to do a return even though I had the receipt and bought the item last week, but she finally did the return. They were just horrible at their job with stinky attitudes.

I just got home from an early morning shopping trip on a Tuesday. I just started working from home a few days a week and wanted some groceries for breakfast and lunch. I was super surprised by how friendly all of the employees were. Every single one of them greeted me and asked if I was finding everything I needed. They’d only been open for 30 minutes and we’re still stocking shelves. Even with the huge carts in the middle of the aisles, they made room for me to walk past and wished me a good rest of my day. At other Walmarts, I always feel like they get mad when you try to walk down an aisle that’s being restocked. I was able to find everything I needed even though they have a smaller selection since they aren’t a Super Center. Only self checkouts were open, but there was no line and the employee at them was so nice. She brought me an empty cart and helped me complete the transaction quicker than if I was scanning on my own. I’m not slow at self checkouts, but four hands are better than two. I can’t believe I’m reviewing a Walmart so positively, but my experience was that good! The store was quiet (since it was so early on a weekday). I HATE going to regular Walmarts, but suffer through it on Sunday mornings because the selection and pricing’s just good and it’s so convenient to get everything in one trip, but I will certainly be making smaller trips to this Walmart Neighborhood Market on mornings when I work from home.

This neighborhood market was ok i kind of liked. They had some good selection of different foods. The only thing there was no customer service at all but I cant be mad thats every Wal-Mart.

The Employees Here @ this Wal-Mart and in the Pharmacy are SUPER SUPER AWESOME...However I wish that they had Better Vender/Contractors the shelves are always Bare. Quick and convenient! They stay open until midnight so its great for late night snack runs and to pick up nick nacks. A little of Walmart without the Battle for a parking spot
Would love to have good things to say about this store. Items are consistently out of stock. I dont know if this is a store level management issue or corporate. Make sure to check expiration dates also, perishable items are regularly 1-2 weeks past their use by date.
Doesnt have as good a selection, we were looking for chicken breakfast sausage they had none, the frozen section doesnt have a big variety of healthy choices or lean cuisine.

Walmart on Austell Rd is by far the best Walmart I have visited. Not only are the employees friendly and just so sweet but their store is just so beautifully clean.. I take all my business to this location.. other Walmarts around Marietta and Smyrna area could use training from the employees on Austell Rd.. keep up the great work! I work here so I am naturally prejudiced, but we really do our best to give customers the best. Theresa Milton has been the manager since this store opened and she is as good as they get!
The customer service is always on point. Someone is always around willing to assist. Checkout attendants are great at assisting customers with checkout lines too.
Self Check Out Lanes are nice! Staffed lanes are open too if you have a lost of groceries or dont want to use self lanes. Staff members are helpful when checking out.
Pleasant but lacking in fresh produce. The produce manager was very nice and did the best with what he has to work with. Also poor selection in fresh deli meats . Overall they had most items I was looking for.

Don’t buy “fresh” food from here! I used to shop here because it’s the closest grocery store from my house. Over and over again I’ve had to throw away “fresh” fruits and vegetables because they were molding, spoiled, or rotten by the time I got home (or the next morning). I’ve gotten sick from food here several times and being former Army Infantryman and having lived in 3rd world countries I have a tank of a stomach, I can usually eat anything. Today I had to run by here to pick up vegetables for dinner — big mistake, and the last time I’ll ever enter this store. I highly implore you to seek groceries elsewhere.

It all depends on the time of day you go to Walmart. It was surprisingly empty meaning there were no lines so I grabbed my Patti pies, paid and left in under 10min.
This Walmart is so easy to get in and out of. Its not as packed as the regular stores. The pharmacy also offers a convenient drive thru for when you dont want to go into the store
Hate this walmart. Produce selection is like, what is left over after they deliver to all the Sams clubs and Super Wal-Marts. And then the Neighborhood Wal-Mart gets the short end of the shipment. The staff is always rude, except one cashier girl is sweet and friendly, always talks to my toddler. Only reason I come here is for quick runs for random items, definitely not for grocery hall.
I can find everything I need and staff is very nice and professional and happy it is here in the neighborhood only thing I wish u had can soda on sale some times that is the only problem I have
This location is clean and great for your average food supply needs. Fyi, I couldnt find La Choy Soy sauce or Powerade Zero on the shelves anywhere. Dont expect to pickup major toys, bikes or stuff such as furniture or clothes here. They dont stock them. And they are still working out the kinks to their in store PICK UP order program. Other than that the food is fresh!
Afraid to visit. This location is a target for criminal behavior. Especially for elderly caucasions. Only visit if my aging mother insist. She has Alzheimers and becomes annoyed if we shop where she is not familiar.
I went to customer service to use Walmart to Walmart and no pens where available and when I asked 3 different employees. I was told they didn’t know where a pen was nor did they try to help find one. I’m confused about what customer service means to Walmart. It seems they get trained and walk around confused. Like if you don’t want to work then just be poor and homeless.

I have had great service in the store......pharmacy when above and beyond many time....until recently.....new guy...treated me terrible....he was the actual pharmacist. he must have been having a bad day. worst part is....i told him i had on chosen to go that pharmacy on the fact that they were so helpful and friendly.....advised me to go to walgreens if im looking for neighbor-like service. i guess my family of 8 and guess my family of 8 will have to get that love somewhere else......severely disappointed
This is my 3rd time waiting in the customer service line for money orders over 20 minutes. They are extremely short staffed and slow. Its close to home and safe when you need to get large money orders but be prepared to wait. Bring a chair and a drink. Ridiculous

Beautiful produce, well stocked. I had gone to this location because of a disappointed stop at the Austell Farmers Market. Their avocados 2 for $4.00 or $2.49ea. Walmart Neighborhood 1 for .98ea.

I have been coming to this Wal-Mart since it opened. The staff are kind and attentive, and they know my family very well. Cannot sing this stores praises enough!
Pharmacy employees are very helpful and quick. The worst thing about the store is Al the potholes in the parking lot. They never seem to get fixed.

Love this little neighborhood store right around the corner from my house. Great staff and the store stocks pretty much all the basic necessities plus there are other small eateries in the shopping plaza.

Walmart isnt my favorite place to buy groceries. Their selection isnt nearly as good on most things. But, I do like their produce much better than where I buy most of my groceries.
As far as Walmarts go, this one is about as good as it gets. It is never super busy and they hit all of the major staples with the exception of stuff you really dont buy that often anyways.

They had recalled pistachios on display, in which I was not aware of the recall until check out. It took and extra 15 minutes to ring up, cancel and ring up the order.

Incredible customer service ! nahal, parras, tracy (and the others that I do not know their names) all are well informed and go the EXTRA mile to make sure everything is correct and they explain everything if there is any questions on the medications and or the insurance co. issues (my situation, as my 80 yr old mother is now living in atlanta from Kansas city so lots of changes on the insurance end).this is the ONLY pharmacy in my 57 years of living that have your reacurring prescriptions READY (before you remind yourself to get them) and they call you to tell you they are ready.Compared to the big box walmart pharmacies ? NIGHT and DAY difference.like the old tv ad said try it...youll like it...Bravo, is all i can say
The pharmacy there is not very good at there job. Expect things to be slow and you script to be late. I would recommend ANY other pharmacy.

And to be honest I was kind of disappointed, but at the end of the day it is what it is I mean its your typical grocery store without the general merchandise. But I will say this they will fully stop and especially with your hard to find essential items like Lysol and cleaning wipes. Now you wont find Lysol and any other Walmart but for whatever reason this Walmart Neighborhood Market had some, also another thing I feel like the store was kind of dirty but that was just my take on it. But at the same time if Im just passing through and I need to pick up something then Ill stop through.

2022-05-09Walmart has met new lows! Not only have they raised the cost of fruit but yesterday I bought a bag of green grapes I see that they now have a new way to rip off the customers- the grapes at the top of the bag were nice and firm but when I got home to have some grapes the vine of grapes on top ( 8 grapes) were ok but further into the bag they were mushy, I paid $7.98 for the grapes. I called the store to tell what I experienced and asked if I could bring them back to exchange for better grapes and the associate I spoke to stated that the grapes are not returnable I explained they were ruined but she said that was not her problem I then asked for a manager and she said no one was available. She ten just hung up the phone. I will not be shopping at this store again!

2022-06-08ISSA, employee: 5 starsIve done curbside pickup with several different Walmarts since the pandemic. Issa was by far the best employee that has assisted. I checked in via the app. Shortly after I arrived, he walked up to my car to ask my name because, for some reason, the app didnt show that I checked in and was in the parking lot. He brought the items to the trunk and even gave me my eggs so they wouldnt crack during travel. Very polite and professional.Walmart Neighborhood Market: 3 starsWhile I definitely prefer this Walmart over East-West Connector, sometimes all of the self checkout lanes are not open. If cashier lanes arent open, why not have all self checkout open?

2022-01-10They were well stocked, but staff was pretty rude to me & my dark skinned husband. Im from Egypt & he is native & black. I feel strongly this is why they were rude. Im very observant & staff was great to everyone else I saw them deal with, but like I said, when it came to us, they were nasty. Ill not be going back. I like the wally near my home. Theyre awesome. 2022-02-24I have always been sceptical of the Walmart neighborhood markets because its still Walmart, and they dont do grocery that well in the regular stores, so why would this be any different?But, because I had to come here to get one item that my wife wanted, that the other Walmarts in the area just didnt have, I am very pleasantly surprised by how efficient and well organized the store is.Big plus, they actually had everything that the app said they had.Super mega plus, they had a very nice and refreshing variety of food items that was very surprising.Plus Ultra bonus, they didnt itemize my receipt looking for evil shoplifting gremlins in my cart as I left. While I understand that, every time it happens I feel like Im being accused of high treason or something equally nefarious. I mean, come on, of your gonna pat search my cart like a cop, itemize my receipt like you are the IRS, and then reach in some bags like your strip searching them before a flight as the TSA, then you can get rid of all those cameras that take every single picture of me when I scan an item from the absolute worst angle possible. Im just saying.Tldr; very nice, clean, organized and not creepy.

2022-01-09Had a great experience with a cashier named Daysha (sorry if I’m butchering) but her supervisors and store manager Theresa was the exact opposite. Being a manager myself I’ve very surprised she was able to obtain this position. The first thing she did was yell at my because a return was taking too long and I️ “caused the line to back up” .. as she sat there for 15 minutes and watched the line back up while my return was being worked on. She obviously did not want to have to do any work and took it out on me when she had to do so. Wish I️ had time to find a corporate number but this review will do. Thank you Daysha, continue to be great.

2021-12-15I love shopping in this Walmart. It is very convenient to my home and the workers are very kind, professional and accommodating. They have assisted me in retrieving items from high shelves or stopping what they are doing to assist me in finding something, to loading water in my cart and also loading it in my car.However, on Saturday Dec. 11th around 2, I was shopping in there when the shift manager or manager, Im not sure, was reprimanding the associates loud and in front of everyone. I thought that to be unprofessional and demeaning to the young people that were in there hard at work.With employees being hard to find, I think they deserve to be taken in the back office or somewhere out of the earshot of the customers to be talked to.Otherwise, I enjoy shopping here, the prices are great, and they hardly ever run out of stock. Except for lately, (smile) not their fault.
