Great place to run in and get fresh fruits and vegetables. Seems they have a better selection of those items than regular walmart. The meat selection is minimal and hard to get chicken also in my experience.The store is clean and employees help make it a pleasant experience.Gas pumps are always very clean!!
Very busy but professional and courteous staff. Many workers were very busy replenishing stock, yet took the time to assist this person and others when certain items could not be found. The only issue this person had was only one check out line was open. While there were many self check out lines, service for the aged is needed. This person will continue to visit this business.

It had most everything needed. The issue is only 1 cashier doing check-out, this location is used by a lot of older people who are not self check-out savvy and should consider having more cashiers available. Seemed like a lot of associates were there...but not engaged in WORKING!!
They have paranoid self-checkout police with hand-held scanners so they can double check that every in your bag got scanned. Instead of auditing the customer, why not put your scanners down and ring people up yourselves since thats your job. Its a sin there are no real cashiers and customers have to do all the work to check out. Then its your fault if you dont have a receipt because the machine ran out of receipt tape, and you get accused of stealing your entire cart that took 10 minutes to ring up and bag! Avoid this place. They make you feel like criminals instead of as customers.
Had a pick up order that was urgent. Said it had been delayed. That’s fine,I understand they are short staffed so I gave it some time. TWO hours passed and it was still delayed. I tried calling customer service and the phone rang for five minutes and no answer. So I canceled the order and I’ll be going else where.

This location is always well stocked and the appreance of the store is clean. However, it must be a Walmart sign of oath to only have two human ran cash registers😑 Thats the frustrating part however the two cashiers are always friendly which is a plus after waiting so long to check out💖
They seemed to be out of stock on alot of stuff, and also as with most Walmarr stores nowadays, there were no cashiers, only self checkout, which I hate, and there was a line for that as well...other than that, prices are good, and the customer service department/money services were friendly and helpful

Last 2 days my order was cancelled one for over $300 one day so tried to reorder seconds later for next day pickup for 12 hours later set it for when i got off after a hard.day just for right before pick up guess what order delayed they had over 24 hours to prepare order just to check email to see delayed wth. THEN PULLED UP AFTER ALMOST 40 MINS THEY DONT SEE MY ORDER IN SYSTEM... Bad sorry business. If u cant fulfill order stop doing it...D*** Nevertheless i. Had to cancel again smh. Wont order again

Grocery side was great. The pharmacy is horrible. 2 girls that work in there were very rude and unprofessional. Constantly on their phones while im trying to talk to them.
This place is great! Always clean, easy to find what you need and amazing customer service/employees who almost always go out of their way to help you. With the self checkout feature available as well, making those late night trips to the supermarket a lot easier. I would highly recommend this over the super center any day! It doesnt have all the things he super center has, but still very good collection. 10/10

There was no caffeine free coke so I had to do without. I cant have caffeine and cant drink diet drinks.
Donna and management was extremely rude I needed help with using Walmart pay and it only took a second and I thanked her for her helping me she stood there looking at me in disgust and walked off. I will be filing a complaint against her, her attitude is so BAD that if someone came in there thinking a out suicide, she would be the last straw for them to end it
Excellent customer service! I have some medical issues that requires me to use a riding buggy. Today as I was gathering the items I needed the employees would ask what they could get for me and place the item in my cart. Not once did I have to ask for assistance! When I checked out the customer service manager unloaded my cart, checked me out and put the bags back in my cart. When I got to my car a nice young man (employee) came over and put my groceries in my car. It was a wonderful shopping experience!!

Terrible service! No one was at the self check out and when I scanned a coupon the register asked for approval. We ended up waiting about 8 min. and when someone finally walked by he didnt even stop to help us so I had to get them myself and ask if they could help. They didnt even know what they were doing and then left us and never returned. Finally we got fed up waiting and took our stuff to a cashier and checked out that way instead. If we didnt who knows how much longer we would have had to wait! Also bad attitudes didnt help.
Great place to buy food. Were saving a bundle shopping here. Friendly employees too. The Pickup feature isnt working very well, though. The website doesnt list all the items in the store. Weve had to go back to regular grocery shopping instead of phoning it in. This is Walmarts doing, Im sure, not the employees.

Most of the employees are very attentive.(although there are some duds ex: a few times I asked about and item, this girl made no eye contact and pointed over there simply saying its on another isle but did not offer even the vicinity)Clean store and good selections.

I give it 2 stars produce was to many workers and to much out of stock onions over ripe not enough help on front one check out for large orders backed up 4 deep had to check out over$90 of groceries on selfcheck let several small orders go head while unloading on belt and will now go to Kroger and spend$40--50 on produce

Went shopping here today for the first time and we was helped by an associate by the name of Lulu. She was kind, friendly and I notice by the looks of it shes very hardworking. I recon shes been there for a long time. A young man help me with my bags to the car. I will be sure to visit again.
I love The Wal-Mart on HWY 84 in Waycross GA 31501 The groceries are so much fresher and everything else is for less on the prices and it is so clean.and the employees are so very nice they make you feel so welcome.
Customer service rude and unprofessional with refund request for unsatisfactory, soggy, hot cooked orange chicken. Customers have the right to return products when dissatisfied. They did not want to issue the refund without returning the chicken in a bag....I returned it 2 days later when I had time to get to the store. This was an unreasonable request. Management at other Walmart stores just need the receipt, not the food, so management needs to either have a consistent deli-related refund policy or simply be courteous when customers have a valid complaint and request a refund. Making the customer feel like a criminal, guilty for even asking, was very unprofessional. Issue the refund with a smile and move on.
It is cleaner than the superstore. Staff is friendly. Prices are for the most part higher than the larger store. I guess you pay for convenience but sometimes it is much more. But they also carry specialty products you cant get at large store. Their produce is always impeccably fresh. The deli is limited though.
The store is not really set up in a flowing type of pattern. You have veggies right when u walk through the door and then some cold items on the wall, which then leads to the bakery and deli thrown slap in the middle of the cold items. As they continue all the way down the back wall of the store and up into the center area of the grocery side. It can be somewhat confusing. Also, the way that everything dry item wise is set up, you cant hardly find what youre looking for in a hurry. This is due to the fact that they have these items in so spread out in a 2 row on one side and another 2 on the other side row set up. This is to complicated for one. People arent trying to spend all day in a grocery store! Making it more convenient and less stressful on a customer makes them relate happy thoughts to the idea of going to your store.Having 2 cashiers open at peak hrs, does not a happy customer make... ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS OR YOU ARE THE SINGLE PERSON STANDING NEXT TO THE SAID PERSON WITH KIDS!!! Getting your customers, in your store to find what they came in to buy, and out as quickly as they came is what would be awesome!!Btw, yes I do know why the store is set up this way... It is to be able to catch a customers eye with other products and sell them up on something that they didnt even come in there for, but because its in eyesight, its an impulse buy.Good luck Walmart... It really doesnt matter how many of these things yall get. You dont take anything we say into consideration... Thats why your larger sister store on Memorial Dr. has 20 some odd checkout lanes and on an average day only 3 may be open on each end if we as customers are lucky.
I was angry the last few times Ive been to Walmart on memorial drive. Always Out of alot of products n made me put back meat I needed for my family of seven and it takes 30-40 minutes to check out. Im done. So now I go to Piggly wiggly n Harveys n I can buy all the meat I want n they dont run out of products I need

Between employees picking orders and stocking very little room to shop sometimes. Employees picking are rude and will cut you off in a heartbeat.

I have a medical issue that I need to use a riding buggy when shopping. Today I went to the local Walmart Market to get a few items. Everyone was very helpful. The employees voluntarily got the items I needed without me even asking. The Courtesy Manager unloaded my buggy, checked me out and put the groceries back in my cart. When I got to my car a nice young employee came over and put my groceries in my car. I cant say enough good about my exerience here. I will be back.
Wonderful place to shop & the customer service you receive if amazing!!! They are very willing to help with anything it may be. Oh and they have every register open in the eveing for us hard working folks running in and out on our way home and that makes it fast and easy and oooh so convenient. Bad diesel fuel...stay away. Immediately my fuel filter light came on.after filling up there. Only time thats ever happened in 65k miles on.my truck
Manager was very rude and i havent been back and dont think i will i will go to Harveys are somewhere else everyone complains about the manager makes you wonder why the manager is still there i guess walmart doesnt care if they have customers are maybe they arent rude to special customers and im not one of them.

This is so convenient and now they accept food stamps for orders placed through the Grocery App. As a sufferer of chronic pain which pretty much has me bedridden, I am so grateful to Walmart for offering this service and not charging extra for it. I see some cities have delivery, too, and I look forward to one of our local stores having that. Thank you Walmart!

I rate the neighborhood Walmart as 3 stars because yes it is convenient because alot of items have different varieties. Its true that the store is a smaller version of the Walmart supercenter,and it would be impossible to fit all the different varieties of the same items in this neighborhood Walmart. But who chooses which items are to be sold at the little Wal-Mart? The choice of items to be sold isnt my favorite. But thats my opinion.
Always easy to get in and out with quickness. They have every food item u want plus some u didnt know about. Also has the basic cleaning, hygiene, makeup, and medicine products.
The store is very organized, clean, easy to find, and most importantly FRIENDLY! Ive never had a bad experience with an employee there and Ive been going regularly since they opened. The deli is friendly, and fast, the bakery has a *good selection of snacks. My favorite is the cookie sandwiches. Theyre a lot more grocery options than the super center, and **better prices!*They dont have doughnuts at the bakery, so if you want those kinds of snacks you need to go to the Walmart super center. The super center has more options in the deli as well.**interestingly enough, despite being the same company, the WM Neighborhood Markets prices are generally cheaper than the Walmart super center. Went at 1:45 to fill one prescription. They told me I could pick it up around two thirty or after. I wanted to know if it took an hour and fifteen minutes to fill one common prescription. She said that they went to lunch from 2:00 until 2:30, which I already knew. That still gave them fifteen minutes to fill the prescription. This is ridiculous! I went through the drive through and no one was ahead of me. I changed to this location so I wouldnt have to drive all the way across Waycross to pick up prescriptions, but I cant give five stars with this kind of pharmacy service. It seems that all the chain stores want to make you wait at least forty five minutes even when no one is standing around. The independent pharmacists can have you out in ten minutes with a crowd ahead of you.
Convenient to where I live, I especially like the drive through pharmacy, I have a hard time walking some days and its just nice to be able to drive up and drop off and pick up meds, also the employees are so nice and ready to help you and you dont have to run around the store looking for help there is always an employee somewhere nearby in any given department and they are willing to help and usually know where items are located and if not will take the time to help you find it. Its nice to have this Walmart in the neighborhood.
Traffic is terrible there when trains are stopped. Thought it would be a good idea for shipped items to go to that site. Not really. They need a traffic light there. Service was fine though.

When shopping at night there are almost no cashiers. And self pay machines are either not working in card mode. Just an all around disappointment!
This is a clean store with a friendly staff. If you are looking to just grab a few things and be out the door, this is the place to go. It is nothing like the big Walmart! Be prepared for the smell of fresh baked goods to hit you in the face when you walk in the door. You will get hungry.
Extremely rude mgmt on morning shift cashiers also had 2 gallons of bleach was told i could only purchase 1 due to limits there was a sign that said be courteous and not buy to many but there wasent a number on the sign was told by mgt there was a number but you couldnt see it cause the way it was done
Need to make an appt just to check out! Seems cashier had many problems processing EBT and WIC vouchers ahead of me. (And this place has alot of them!) After waiting 10 min with my items including melting ice cream on the belt, I reloaded my cart to go to another cashier. Finally made it out of the store 20 min after getting in a line. Dont think you can get in and get out quick here! Perhaps there should be a register for those of us who have to pay full price, at the very least we might get out quicker while our tax money is paying for groceries in the other lines!
We always take a walk to this Walmart Neighborhood Market. Only 10 minutes of walking from home. We love this place since the first day we moved in. They have everything we need. Wow, and their price is unbeaten.

Recently, I was told that unless my name appeared on my mothers check that I could not make a purchase for her. She and I went to remedy that, and I was given a letter to use until new checks arrive with my name added to them. Even with the letter and my ID, the. Walmart Neighborhood Market refuse to accept my 95 year old Mothers check.
I think i would rather go to this Wal-Mart then the big super Wal-Mart. It was so much easier and quicker, in and out and found everything i needed.

I got what I wanted after waiting in the customer service line for nearly 30 minutes. There was only one associate working. When I asked if she could get some help, I was told there is no one to help her. Then all of a sudden, another associate walks up and yelled, Next! I hate this company.

Their vegetables green peppers yellow peppers cucumbers are wrinkly and over ripen theyre old they never have potatoes if they do theyre growing eyes or theyre all wrinkled bear lettuce their carrots are not desirable its too bad brand new store and Ive gone there like three times in two years aint going back unless its cleaned up and they dont keep things stocked on the Shelf like white clam sauce in a can I had to ask him to order it cuz they were out they only had two cans left I buy a case when its available I mean to say if they restock but they dont seem to do that I dont know whats going on in all those automated checkout dont like them some have improved some are still a pain in the ass

For this to be a neighborhood Walmart, it is rather large and they carry ALOT. They carry more than what the average Neighborhood Walmart carries. Here you can find a large produce section, your meat and seafood of course, supplies (pencils, glue, tape, and etc), and a few other nontypical things like slow cookers and such. There is also an on site gas station. According to the locals there had only been one Walmart in the area for some time until this one popped up.
Good selection and way more convenient then going to the big Walmart. Certainly an improvement from Harveys not too far down the road.

Always has everything I need, great parking, good prices and definitely has anything you need.....Love their produce section....

I like that this store isnt as busy as the superstore. They do have some things the superstore doesnt have but at the same time they lack a few items that the superstore has.

The Wal-Mart Market Place on Plant Ave. Is a Godsend due to my disability. The folks that deliver to the car are so courteous. Kudos to the Market Place!

I always enjoy going to the neighborhood market. You receive the same prices as you do at the Wal-Mart supercenters, yet you do not have the crowds.

2022-05-17So I went to the small Walmart and I was helped by a gentleman in the Deli department, already he looked like he didn’t want to be there. I ordered this one thing and he couldn’t even do it right. Common sense would tell this guy to put paper in between the slices of cheese. But I guess he wanted to hurry and get me out of there. SMH

2022-01-12Love the store, friendly associates, but the in-stock on key items is awful. I understand the replenishment systems, and rate of sale. I feel its a mgmt problem of just not keeping these key items on the shelf. Overnight stocking is great but if key items are selling out during the day the Mgr should take action to correct this. I shop here multiple times a week, and am frustrated on most visits by out of stock on basic items.Thanks for listening, & hopefully will see improvement in the future.Thanks,Frustrated

2022-04-29This Location has a pretty good selection of items. It also has an in store deli where they slice lunch meat to order. Prices are about average for the area. Staff is friendly.
