If I could give them zero stars I would. I have been a loyal customer for about 3 years now using Grocery Pickup. The store charged wrong card on file when I specifically chose the one I wanted the payment to go towards. It left my account very negative! The best customer service can tell me is it mustve been a technical issue and if I want to return my groceries then I can then they can refund it and charge everything to the correct card. This order was picked up two days ago. Why would I pack up all the groceries I havent used from this order, take it back to the store, return it and then ring it all up for it to go to the correct card. There should be an easier way to fix this. You have lost a customer completely! Thanks for no help!
Check their indoor app for a brother toner, said they had one in stock and the price was $39.99. when I got there it was in stock for $70.99. If I can order it on the app and have it mailed to me for half the price theres really no reason to go to this store.

Oftentimes, customers are quick to complain yet slow to compliment. I want to give a huge shoutout to Tina who checked me out on Tuesday evening 12/7/21. This sweet lady was so courteous and friendly . . . Her enthusiasm made a real impression! I appreciate the fact that there are still employees out there who know the meaning of “Customer Service.” This Walmart employee is to be commended for going the extra mile! Thanks, Tina!!!
I have used pickup service since it started. I came today Tuesday January 11 to pickup and it wasnt ready. Okay, a manager gets on the phone to tell me that it will be ready tomorrow because it fell through the system. I asked if someone could pick it since its 10 items. He said NO. I said okay what time will it be ready tomorrow. HE HUNG UP ON ME!!! I will not spend another penny here. My husband passed in December and its not easy for me to get out. No more twice a week pickups here!
This store needs to add more products. Also needs to improve on their cashier employees.
Even though we went late and bought a lot of groceries there was no line at the self-checkout and checking out $250 in food actually went relatively smooth. There was a super friendly and helpful customer service associate there that actually seemed genuinely happy to be at work, which in this day and age is rare. The store was clean and well stocked. One of my better Walmart trips hands down.

Poor customer service. Bought a tablet and they had no cases or screen protectors. No Pokemon other than plush. REPEATEDLY told by Angie in electronics they have no help and no accessories.
Management is rude as hell Half of the staff hardly ever even wants to help you with anything when you need something and they never have anything on the shelf
I ordered online and went to pick it up and when I parted and called they try telling me it was at another Walmart when I knew it wasnt. After another person got on the phone to tell me the same thing I then read the order and the address of the store to him. Of course then he said he seen it and to come back at 5PM I told him no I was there now, I ordered it yesterday and it says its ready for pick up then he tells me its ready and to go in to pick it up. They really need to get it together. However the young ladys that helped me pick up my items were very sweet, polite and knew what they were doing.
If youre here for curbside pharmacy pickup, forget it. The last 4x Ive been here people keep parking in the spaces clearly marked reseved for Rx pickup. An employee parked in space #3, tying up that space for possibly 8hrs. When I called the pharmacy, I learned:Walmart does nothing! They refuse to alert customers to move their vehicles. Why have these spaces? Walmart, you dont enforce your own policies or put the customer first. Thank God my medication (at this time) is not a time sensitive issue.

Worst in-store pickup ever. Their instructions tell you to go into the store where further instructions tell you to leave the store and call them when youre in a curbside pickup spot, but then they tell you to come back into the store to pick it up anyway. then they tell you they didnt have everything you ordered.
They just did an overhaul inside. Moves items around and reorganized. It looks great!

If you want to be judged and treated like a common thief go to the store. The people working to check out lines are pathetic old ladies with nothing better to do but judge you and blame you for stealing when youre not doing anything but checking out. I literally spend over $1,000 a month in this particular store. In the last year Ive been harassed repeatedly trying to check out by miserable old ladies. Its pathetic how Walmart lets them treat you.
Very busy store . Parking hard to come by. Store is always relatively clean for as busy as it is. Out of a lot of food but thats the case with just about everywhere now.
I went on the Walmart app and saw they had in stock an item at this specific location on clearance. I came in, grabbed two and went to self checkout where they rang up more than the listed price. I asked for help, and had two different people tell me they’d “get the manager” and never came back. Waited almost 20min before going to customer service to figure out if they’d honor the listed price. They did not. They couldn’t even comprehend what I was asking. I even tried showing them the matching model #s and location. I wouldn’t normally go through the trouble of all of this, but the clearance price was a lot cheaper and I really wanted the items. I wasn’t rude or anything and ended up just leaving without buying them, but I am super disappointed. Even the manager couldn’t manage a conversation. I just wanted to know if they would honor the price listed..It was bizarre, and a huge waste of my time.I don’t normally write negative reviews, but seriously don’t even bother shopping here unless you want to pay more than the listed price for things(which also happened when I bought a drink on the way out).

Store extremely busy and shelves were not full. Meats and veggies were bare. Cashier was the best part of our shopping. I think her name was Natasha. Very friendly and patient.
The store was pretty much empty from the weekend because snow and ice was in the forecast.

An old Walmart that badly needs a remodeling. It is busy yet Walmart doesnt spend money on it. They arent nearly as well stocked as the newer one across town. Walmart is a bad company overall but we all need to shop there sometimes.The newer one on Epps Bridge is always my preferred choice even though its a much farther drive.
I wish things were together that should be. Like anything kitchen should be together. Instead you have some kitchen stuff together on two rows then there are plates, bowls,etc up front near the main ilse. It really wasnt designed right but its a little better than what it was.
If I could give it zero stars then I would. We have done all of our tire business with this Tire and Lube location but while we were in Athens tonight we realized that one of our tires was on the verge of blowing out. We pulled into the walmart parking lot at about 6 pm and I called and asked when the Tire and Lube closed and they said 7pm. So we drove back to the Tire and Lube Center and an employee quickly met us outside of our car and told us that they werent servicing any more vehicles after they finish the one they were currently working on. With an hour left before they closed, I explained that the tire had knotted up and the rubber had started peeling back away from the tire and it wasnt safe enough to try to drive anywhere else especially since my children were in the car. The manager continued to tell me that unfortunately there was nothing that he could do. I even asked if he would just sell me the tire and mount it on the rim and I would take the tire off and put the tire back on the car myself and this guy still told me no. They have no care or remorse for their customers. They had 3 associates working in the Tire and Lube doing an oil change on 1 car but all this guy could say is that he didnt have enough people to change a tire. We will never use this location again.
The people who work here are usually friendly and willing to help customers They have remodeled this store so it may be a little difficult to find some things that they have moved, but if you ask an associate where it is they should be able to help you find everything you need.
Been coming here since i was a child. Cant walk the isles without remembering the times I would help get groceries with grandma through this very store. Walmart may not be the best but im glad for it.
I love this place. You can find almost anything you want. I love to do crafts. Got it. I like to try new weird food. Got that too. They dont have everything, but if you cant find it, someone will help you. The only problem is that the store is so big it can be a hike. But now that I am over 60 I solved the problem: I ride a cart.

After today I will never shop Walmart again. I was so happy fitting rooms were back open after being closed so long over Covid . Till I met the rudest ever older employee working the fitting rooms. I told her how excited I was after a year of not being able to try on clothes and all she could do was repeadly express how much work she has to do for me going in that room . And tell me shes been more than a year since buying new clothes. I did express that I was happy she did come to work after so many draw unemployment now days. But thats no compliment shes mad that she has a job. So from now on I will not bother with Walmart ever again.i will drive further and pay more.
So 3 white females got in with small dogs and they dont say nothing I wasent going to leave my small dog in a 87 degree heat in the car so they told me im not allowed to get in the store with a small dog in a stroller unless is a service dog I wont waist my money in this store anymore
They are always courteous everything seems to be in place I love it I love shopping at Walmart some Walmarts are different I come from a place with a Walmart this service I give it no stars I give it a -10 and the service well if you ever got service you know what Im talking about this Walmarts the one in snellville in Gwinnett county Ive had bad experiences there not all the people there are bad there was a couple of people in there couple ladies in the front that they are awesome but for some reason their money department where you had to collect money was always closed and no one wanted to attend to it but thats Walmart they dont pay enough again God bless guys
Sometimes food is picked over and nothing us left on the shelves. Especially on Sundays. The grocery pick up is convenient when they get your order right. We have had several occasions where items were not in our order that we placed, and no substitute was added.
Really nice Walmart! Its a pretty big and nice has lots to choose from and more than some Ive been too! really confusing on where exactly to go if youve never done a pick up order before. The map is very confusing and its a really busy Walmart so you cant be driving slowly trying to figure out where to go you got to get out of the way! Its a bigger store so its crowded! But not so bad that you wouldnt like it. 🙂
Was really impressed, thought it would be just another Walmart but turned out to be one of the best Ive found. I ended up moving my prescriptions to their Pharmacy. Also the best price on chicken feed around here.
I had to fight off 3 other customers for the last case of cat food. The pet food isle is like the Hunger Games with squeaky toys.
This store has plenty of parking, including MANY handicapped parking spaces. One thing that currently impresses me is that they do require a face mask and they will even offer you one if you didnt bring one with you. They also disinfect the handles on their shopping carts. Once inside, the store is well organized and you can find almost anything you may need here, sorry, no building supplies! LOL
Halloween is going to be Great this year!! These masks fit over your head.. Be creative with what you might wear with it!! Have fun & Great laughs!!

Was busy when there also, when passing on another occasion.Temperature cool and steady while there. Appeared to be well stocked.Workers were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful when asked questions for assistance.Didnt see a tire and lube section here unless I just missed it. However, there was a nice garden and lawn section.The tech section was very well secured with workers readily available and with seemly digital locks securing the inventory of electronics as well.Cooked food near deli seemed freshly made and ready to eat.Every department appeared to have a worker visibly available. Customer service moved fast and efficiently while watching as I waited for family member each time I passed.The bathroom was clean. It appeared well kept and maintained on this day and the next visit to area also.Surprisingly, the toys section remained kept by staff no matter the number of n passing through the areaThis is the one department workers appeared invisible until replacing and maintaining area in which child displaced moments before.Reasonably priced drinks in drink machine near entrances.
Walmart who doesnt go to Walmart its a quick and easy way to get what you need when you need it. I call it Wally world.
Alex is probably the best employee there. He’s a hardworking individual who goes above and beyond for every customer he sees. Definitely doesn’t deserve the position he has. Needs to be higher.
This has got to be the sorriest Walmart in the chain! I live outside of East Athens and I had rather drive to Westside or Commerce Walmart to get the things I need. They are 9 times out of 10 always out of the pet supplies I need especially can cat food in bulk boxes and Tidy cat liter no matter what day I shop there! The grocery department is not much better. I had rather shop at Kroger at least I know they have the things I need. The staff at East side Walmart seem to be more interested in socializing with each other, walking around ( without their mask on properly) and talking on their personal phones! I dont think they know what work is! Piss poor management and staff has the whole store lacking!
I got there at closing time, close to it. Im handicap and use a chair.didnt have Time to go to three departments and get what I really needed because My Lyft driver got me there too late! So I asked several employees to get sum thing for me and they refused to help me.were not friendly or helpful! Ended up with out the things I needed really bad.and IT cost me 18.00 to get there AND I had rough time going alone. I was very dissatisfied with that visit
Not really impressed with this Walmart. Bathroom is seldom clean. Shelves are scantily stocked. Hard to find a cashier and when you do the line is very long.I go there for specific items and have never been able to find everything at one time. It takes several trips to complete a list.

I was disappointed in how the employees completely ignored me during my visit. They would walk by without even looking at me or making eye contact. There were two employees by the exit and as I was leaving they both spoke and were very pleasant. Im not from this area and shop at Wal-Marts all over the South and have never experienced such rudeness.
Staff is always helpful and assists due to disability. Plenty of carts early in the morning.
It’s 5:46 p.m.and I came to Walmart to grab a few toiletries and add cash to my card. I looked around and saw every employee stationed somewhere and working so that is an automatic “plus”; however, they seemed to have hired or asked volunteers to follow my friend and me to Walmart as we tried to have a “personal shopping experience “ and it became very uncomfortable for me. More than likely I will NOT be returning to this location because I feel like I am being inadvertently harassed by being followed around. If it was darker outside I probably wouldn’t even feel safe walking to my car. Target or Publix wouldn’t treat their customers this way or allow the stupidity to walk the aisles of their store.
Went in looking for an item. Passed more than 15 employees, early morning, not one asked if I needed help. I approached one and all he could say was I dont know. Two looked liked managers, all talking to other employees. Everyone looked like they were scared I would ask them a question. Poor training, or management, take your pic. I plan to tweet the experience and Facebook it. Incredibly poor service. If the store was busy that would be one thing, but this simply lazy. On everyones part. Poor hiring? Poor training? Poor management? Or all of the above. If Walmart employees want higher pay atleast do a mediocre to deserve it.
There was only 2 registers with cashiers and all the self checkouts were full or broken. There needs to be more registers with cashiers during busy times I.E 3pm thru 8pm.

I have had some good and some bad experiences here but mostly good. I usually find what I need except in electronics phone selections I wanted have been out whenever I go to buy a phone.The grocery section is really good, and beats most Ive been in. I had to ask for a manager once in the meats section, and she was very helpful.Clothing options are very good, as well as the home goods. Ive never had a bad cashier, always friendly and courteous!

If you find something that you like they will stop selling it. If they sell it they will be out of it and are ALWAYS STOCKING SHELVES with what I have no idea. Went to get free tire rotation since I had purchased my tires from them. Sat there in an hour and a half and my car was still outside never having been moved. Will not ever return. The workers in the auto department were having a great time with each other instead of working. Three of us were in the waiting room frustrated because our cars are not being serviced properly. Im done

Yesterday September the 30, 2020 was rude to my 11 year old. He was helping me put things in the cart and he try to put a chips bag into a bag and the cashier was like “mmm no that doesn’t go their. Okay than I ask him to put the water on top so they can ring it and again. She was like no not no but in a rude tone and try giving him the scanner so he scan it and I just got out of her hand an scan my self. As son as we got into the car my son started to cry asking me why was this lady being so rude to him when he didn’t do anything to her.
Was trying to get BBs but a worker (Alex- short blonde hair) would not help. Waited 5 minutes, overheard someone remind Alex to assist me, yet he continued chatting with his coworkers instead of helping. Very unhappy with the service I received today.
Amazing , organized and quite big compare to some Walmart .
Went with a friend Friday. We both had to use the restroom. One of their stalls had an out of order sign on it. Ended up having to hold the door closed because the bathroom stall door overlapped on the lock due to the whole structure leaning. Then My husband and I went Sunday night and I had to use the restroom before we left. The stall still hadnt been fixed, but this time the door was left open and there was pieces of toilet tissue scattered across the floors and the toilets appeared to not have been cleaned as there were poop on the lids and rims. We also have an issue with them keeping items in stock, their employees crowding the side entrances when they smoke, and hardly ever having enough check out lanes open on days the store knows they are going to be busy.There is one Lady in management however who is an amazing person. I left my phone in the bathroom one time and they found it. When I called the cell phone to try and locate it she answered and was able to let me know what happened and that they would hold it until I could pick it up at customer service. I was very much appreciative for her above and beyond help in that situation.
Took over 15 minutes for help at self check out, which is a joke. Then when a lady finally came, she caught an attitude saying if I wait longer then someone would eventually show up. What kind of service is that coming from who I assume was a manager. Another visit there I actually had to call the store from inside the store because there was no one on duty to help at self checkout and there were over four of us needing help and had been waiting for over twenty minutes. Sad.
We actually had to call the store number twice after asking an employee for help in the paint department. Finally grabbed a young man who was happy to help after 45.in

This place is overall good but there has been a couple times where employees would be straight out rude to you. Also In this most recent visit i dont think anyone is enforcing the mask rule. About half the people I saw had mask only around their neck.

Tons of items out of stock, pickup payments have issues, and the staff I dealt with was great but some of the others I saw were of no use. Dont help customers, dont appear to be doing anything except propping up and socializing.
Out of stock on several items that I buy daily. Stopped selling a few items that we buy. This is causing me to have to shop elsewhere for the things we like.Only 1 cash register was open on each side of the store. To many people trying to check out at the same time causing line to be long. Not ev1 wants to go to self checkouts with a buggy full of groceries. If we wanted to self checkout we go to Amazon.
The assistant manager was incredibly rude to me and did not know how to look up an ad for a price match on her phone. She was not wearing a name tag or obvious uniform but another clerk told me her name was Donna. She refused to properly type in the URL for the ad in her mobile phone (which she did not seem to know how to use correctly) and refused to go to a computer to look it up. When we elaborated on the proper URL, she yelled Im not STUPID! This conversation is over! And she snatched the item off of the counter very roughly and told us she would not be helping us. She even tried to threaten the employment of my friend whod mentioned he worked at a different Walmart in town. The whole time she was talking over us and yelling loudly at someone over her microphone. We sat politely and listened, waiting for her to be quiet so we could try to explain how to use her own phone, but she constantly interrupted us and cut us off. She never, once, even apologized. I work in customer service and this type of behavior is inexcusable. I doubt this is the first complaint youve received about Donna, and its certainly not the last.
Hate to admit it, WalMart is my store. They have what I need most of the time.if you can handle the WalMart people, (its true, lots of weird people shop there) Bring your phone, you never know what youll see?
I go to this walmart for my work shoes and clothing. I believe they have a wider select than the larger walmart on epps bridge parkway. And right across the street there is a dollar tree that i always have to go to find absolutely everything im looking for than the one on baxter street. They always come up short.
My wife and I were shopping in the garden area. We found the items that we were looking for and were satisfied with our shopping experience. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

The grocery section is very nice and has a great variety. Most associates are very helpful. The Automotive department is very helpful.
No one should waste their time or money at this Walmart. The overnight assistant manager, Donna, made it perfectly clear that they do not need my money when I was told that I should leave the fitting room because I was distracting the employees, who were helping me shop. After showing her my shopping cart full of products and telling her I wanted to try on a dress, she threatened to ban me from the store and told me I was making stuff up in front of all the employees and other customers. I will not go back to this Walmart and I will continue to tell others to avoid this location. They obviously do not need paying customers.
Not my regular store but was in the area. While I found everything I was looking for I had problems at the self checkout and there was no one around to fix the register. Another customer advised me to not waste my time waiting or Id be there awhile. I had to move all my items to another register. Seems like theyd have a CSR in this area like my regular store, but no.
Hot my first vaccine there, they are doing an excellent job maintaining good social distancing and making getting the vaccine easy.
I enjoy shopping at Walmart. It is following coronavirus safeguards much more stringently than other places I have shopped. I only gave 4 stars because there is only one entrance open and it is not in the middle of the store.

Typical Walmart experience. Handful of good employees, some less than stellar ones, and tons of trashy customers visiting the armpit of super markets. They are out of quite a few things but that happens seasonally with the in flux of students. Good for people watching though. Their customer service is pretty decent and is probably the best part of this store.
No one at self check out, couldnt proceed. Lady at desk near changing room continues to talk to her friend and not answer the ringing phone. Was asked three times by the same deli clerk what I wanted. I only wanted one thing and was asked three times by the same person as she was paying more attention to her conversation with another clerk. Price of a produce item rang up wrong. Paid for it anyways and then went to customer service. They couldnt find a turn key to refund the overcharge. Told them all of the above and all I got was a shoulder shrug. Not sure how much worse this Walmart store can get. I will pay higher prices for a better environment. Switching to Kroger.
Today, I needed a specific item from the electronics section. Ty and KJ were very helpful. Ive never had anyone in this store ask me if I needed help with anything. Both of these employees offered help without me asking, and they helped me find exactly what I needed. Great employees! All smiles and very friendly. They helped me gain a new respect for this store. If you need anything, find these two.

I looked for help and instead of taking me and showing me where the product is, they kept trying to explain where I had to go and I had no clue where stuff was in that store. She wasnt busy. Whatever happened to someone walking you over to where a product is showing you the product asking if you need any other help finding anything else. Is this new generation what we have to look forward to? I was in retail for quite a few years and I always put the customer first very politely. , and I went out of my way to help people. If I could , I would give this store 0 stars. Bought a boost Mobile phone and IMEI on the phone didnt even match the code in the box. I went to hook up the phone and couldnt because they sold me the wrong phone in the box. When I went to exchange or get it fixed, they insinuated I was trying to get over them by bringing a phone that wasnt in the box. They were rude and did not resolve the situation at all. I would suggest going to other Walmart across Athens if you have to go to one. Worst Walmart of all time
Idk mcdonalds has gotten where u wait in line for 30 mins or longer some days there Burgers dont have the same tast and there chicken is always dry 8n the mornings

We go here every week. I love Walmart very much. Things are cheap here. The staff is so helpful. There are many other services inside the building. There is a bus stop right next to it (in the home and pharmacy side) so it is easy to go even without a car.

I live on the east side and I shopped at Walmart for the most part .I like it because I dont have trouble finding things I want there and the prices is as good as I can find anywhere else in town.
Well Walmart is pretty much at Walmart its just you have to watch what time you go to avoid the massive crowds Play looks cleaning off and it looks like there reorganising or expanding
With the Covid -19 there hours vary. Now there open till 10 p.m. for any one that works late. And MUST have a MASK on at all times. Stay Safe
Rudest management on night shift. I went and did some heavy grocery shopping around 11pm and only self check out was open. Initially, I went up to register where a lady (later learned she was manager) was standing. She rudely replied and yelled I’m not open. I asked were any registers opened and was told only self check out. Just the worst Walmart in Athens.
Walmart has always been such a friendly place to shop. The employees r good. Athens ga. Is a great town to live n but busy bc its a college town.
It was the worst experience at Walmart of almost all time there was so many people NOT wearing MASKS it was ridiculous. I thought it was mandatory I guess next smoking will be back!!!!!!🤔☹😫
It is now a much more confusing setup and you spend more time in the store than usual because of all the changes. It is hard to find simple things and the employees have a hard time recalling where items are at with the new changes. There are less cashiers and the self checkout kiosk are always down or messing up!
This store is clean, and one of the managers by the name of Vot is always kind and goes out of his way to help customers. Not a fan of walmart but if I go to one I make sure to go to THIS one.
I bought a movie “Happy Death Day 2” I did not open the box for a week because I was waiting to watch it with my sister, when I’m trying to open the box I notice it has extra tape on it which took me a minute to open to realize that the box was empty, I tried calling customer service but no answer. Who do I call for stuff like this? Like for real
All the Walmarts are the same good prices you can pretty much get anything there its just a matter of how busy they were and how crowded and they werent too crowded

Its frustrating to go in the store, ask an employee for help locating an item only to be told where to look as if youre inconveniencing them. Then you finally find the shelf empty, leave the store, look online and see there are 6 of the same item in stock ready for purchase online for immediate pickup.This is why Amazon is becoming my go to place. Id rather wait a day or two and have it delivered to my door.
This remodeled store is absolutely one of the best. Everything is easy to find they have it properly organized & displayed. The people are helpful. One of the best Walmart Ive been in over the past two to three decades.
Walmart needs to hire more cashiers . I was thinking about leaving my cart of merchandise and going to another store because of the always long and slow moving lines. Hire more people and make all self check out accept cash
Generally the items I buy here are ok however in the past 2 weeks 3 separate produce items I have bought only to notice that they are already rotting when I get home, or start to grow mold within 24 hours of bringing them home. I would suggest thoroughly checking any produce bought here and using it IMMEDIATELY. I however will not be buying my produce here anymore. I bought mushrooms yesterday for thanksgiving, I thoroughly checked them at the store however as I am prepping for tomorrow I notice they are extremely slimy already and had to throw the whole batch away.
The store just got updated with all their shelves rearranged and looking great!Lots of new self-checkouts were added making checking out faster, but I can imagine cashiers lost their hours.
Remodeling and looking fantastic! Asst manager and other staff very friendly and helpful. Love the self checkout/self pickup upgrades!! But beware, they are watching like hawks for any hanky panky at checkout so dont take it personal.😉

Gotta LOVE Wal-Mart!! Just about any and everything you want under 1 roof! I did not have any problem getting help from employees when needed. I was informed of sales they were having, discounts available and even upcoming sales (if I didnt need it right then). Love this place!
Walmart needs to get new shopping carts. Tried 3 different carts & they all sound like a freight train goin thru the store the wheels.
This is a typical Walmart, however they have always seemed to have an issue with keeping stocks at proper levels. This has been an issue for years at this location. I used to occasionally drive the extra distance to the Epps Bridge Road store because it is much better managed and stocked.
Now taking returns. Masks required... at least thats what they say at the entrance.Not enforceable... so, some have them on... some do not. I do not have a problem either way.
Jelesika , if I spelled it right, knew I had been there last week at the Deli and was ready to help with my order.That was impressive that she remembered me as I her. I will certainly look too her each visit.Tina at check was super customer service, asking if I found what I needed. Very happy, best customer service I have experienced there. Check out can be a thankless position. Smiling at grumpy people can where you out. Tina was very personable. She is a winner.Our surprise was finding a sport item on sale that we had been searching for at other outlets. Made us happy shoppers.

I gotta say, the changes are nice. Its better organized, just takes some yime to get use to the where everything is now. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Could have been because it was early morning and a Friday, but my experience was nice.
Shame on this Walmart for their mistreatment of their fish tanks. These are living creatures, and it seems like nobody ever cleans the tanks or feeds them, and Im not the only one that was appalled. Im looking into the appropriate people to report this to. Inhumane. (The picture with no fish in it is of a really dirty tank with no live fish and only dead fish still floating around in it) Ive been to a lot of places that sell fish before, and Ive never seen anything like this, it looked like a graveyard for them. If nobody is going to bother to take care of them, then stop selling them.
It seems like this store is always busy...day or night. There is usually a wait to checkout. This store would definitely benefit by having a grocery pickup. I am surprised that they did not. The aisles had product waiting to be stocked but no employee was around. Ceiling leaked in refrigerator section.

There is a decent selection here although there are many Walmart that are much bigger. The clothes (for women and kids, at least) you can find a couple shirts maybe some pants if you are a small or extra small... And dont expect the kids clothes to match in the same size you are looking for, but its Walmart.
The worst Walmart in the USA. It used to be my favorite one as I like shopping groceries after midnight. The management doesnt bother customers waiting for the self checkout for more than an hour. I need an answer please, why dont you increase the number of staff working night shifts??? Why dont you care about your customers??? Why do you think that your customers are trash? Enjoy going to this location due to the layout of the store. It is also not as crowded as the other locations. There was a long wait in line so another cashier came along and opened hers up to get things moving quicker. Well stocked also.
I like walmart. They are everywhere, have lots of things most households need at an okay prices. And, as a truck driver, they let you pack in they lot overnight when you cant find a safe place to spend the night.
I really do like this Walmart as it is big and has a lot of stuff in every department...the downside is they need to be more organized. The aisle mentioned on the app sometimes doesnt correspond to the aisle in the store. Also it is very difficult to find Walmart staff to help with searching for something.
The cashiers are getting ridiculous. We were second in line in the garden center and the cashier had here back turned to us unaware she had a line. After a minute the gentleman in front of us asked her if she was open. She slowly turned around and said yes. Not Im sorry or anything of that nature, she was actual irritated with his question. Then she checks us out next, Shirley was her name, and she didnt say a single word no hello good morning nothing. Then handed me the receipt, not even the bag, and said thanks while looking down. Ok this Walmart used to look trashy and outdated and customer service also kind of sucked BUT they have made huge changes! The store has been updated and somewhat remodeled and theyre still updating parts of the store like the pharmacy area but so far I love it and I dont know if they hired knew people or retrained their employees but they are wonderful now!
For some reason you cant seem to get any customer assistance here. I looked up a replacement antenna for a security camers system and their website showed they carried in store. When I sent my husband to purchase one, the person working in the electronics dept. said they didnt carry them. What the heck? This happens more and more often which is why we dont shop here unless we absolutely have to.
Found everything needed and prices are the best in this area. Check out was super slow not bc of the crowd but other customers checking out had complications trying to pay. One would think a customer would know before hand how they intend to pay for items but apparently not. Check out associate was friendly.
Good for one stop shopping. Not very fond of the new thing where they only have self checkout registers open at certain times. I dont mind it sometimes, but I need to have the option of a cashier every time I go there.
Always out of normal things like oatmeal or vinegar. They never have the Wal-Mart brand baby wipes I like. Site to store service has gotten really great, and is always better than Epps Bridge. There were limited choices in meat and dairy and prices has risen dramatically. To be fair prices has increased all over.
The worst Walmart in the world!
The assistant manager KATHY (regular associate with a title) was very rude. Luckily she caught me on my Good Day. The gentleman in the electronics dept was very nice and helpful. Wish I knew his name.
I only go here in an emergency, its 24 hours, and they have a Western Union, for paying bills at the last minute.They also have cat food, cheap! I just cant support them on a regular basis, because I know their employees are paid so poorly that they drain our countys resources for the needy.It is way to big to navigate through and the departments are set up very inconviently.Their produce looks great, but tastes bland.I treated myself to some oranges there last winter, while sending off a car payment on the due date (whoops, that cost 19 dollars!). The oranges were beautiful, but mostly skin, & that white stuff under the outer skin, the fruit itself was tiny, dry, and had no flavor, at all- in season!I pay more, for less, at publix, because the store is small enough to get around, and the people who work there are super helpful. Nobody at Wal-Mart offers to help with anything, and the employees are without exception, in too big a hurry to help you find, reach, lift or carry anything.I dont blame them, I would be sullen if I were working as many hours as I could get, and still needed food stamps and/ or public housing to survive.Theres a neighborhood store of theirs I may try, if its open 24 hours. I will check, the next time I realize were out of cat food, at 4 in the morning.
My husband & I just visited the Walmart store #02811 in east Athens, Ga. We had some problems with several of my husbands prescriptions. The pharmacy was very busy with a lot of customers however the pharmacist helping us named Crystal was very patient & kind. She got everything straightened out for him& told axactly what to do in the future. Thanks again Crystal!
Its busier than normal due to the holidays but the staff (both in store and pharmacy) is still friendly and helpful!
This Walmart has a bit of everything and its always open. They even have some decent organic food at reasonable prices.Cant beat the prices on clearance clothing, sometimes as low as a dollar for completely functional out of season sports clothes.Of course, if a repair ends up taking a long time or a child gets a fever late at night, Walmart is the indispensable shopping destination.

While shopping at Wal-Mart today I noticed that it wasnt near as busy as it was on fathers day of last year. It was calmer and much whiter, I had an easy shopping trip and my interactions with Wal-Mart store employes were helpful and pleasent and the atmosphere seemed to be very warm and fluid.
Employees never seem happy. Unpleased with their gesture to not legally carry a firearm inside the establishment. Definitely dont feel safe.

Surprisingly quick service at auto for key copys and same at fabric-cutting table! In and out in about 25 minutes with checking out twice!! (Only 3 days until Christmas on a Saturday afternoon!!! Amazed. )
I went to print a passport photo, I spent more than an hour, at the end the photo was blurry. Although the guy over there was helpful and understanding, they wasted my time. I think they have a problem either with their Camera or printer
Lots of friendly and knowledgeable staff along with great prices. Management has always been helpful when a price wasnt marked. It can be busy at times so I shop in later hours or during the day and get in and out quick.

Very lacking in clothes compared to many times before that I have visited this Walmart.
Great place to find almost every you need. Tbh I was able to find great pranking supplies and some cool drinks and food products that were fun to try. At night its especially fun because you dont know what you will find. I was also able to get great deal on electronics and movies. And of course I come here to get groceries when I can.
Shopping is fine but they are the worst forecheck out. They have long lines and still want open any new registers. The wait time is horrible. If I had the time I would have went to the one on the West side.
Some of the staffs are very rude and dis-respectful. I had called them four times for a photo book. The guy who was working there was nice to response to when I called initially. he said he didnt get the order I had sent online so told e to re-submit again. He was nice. Later when I called after re-submitting the order, he had gone for lunch and one lady picked the phone. She was very rude and hated to give me any information about the project. Later after I told that it was my 4th time that I called just for one book, she looked for my order. She had no customer appreciation nor any skills to talk polite at all.
A great cheap place to buy UGA apparel, and the workers are friendly enough. Lots of self check-outs and they have a pointless receipt checker once you leave. They wont do anything more than look at your receipt and put some highlighter on it.
Too busy and NEVER enough help around and only TWO cashiers on deck lately?!? Its getting crazy! Safer bet to hit the walmart on 316, everytime you turn around someobe is there wanting to help; an Ive yet to run into an item or cashier shortage! An as a handicap person, they NEED more wheelchair carts ..an keep the ones they have in working order ! Small isles make it rough for customers an employees to be on the sameone... VERY poor layout space on some isles! There is a huge store, scoot some larger isles around. Give us room so more then one or two shoppers can get through at a time! An holy hell, if your cashier / staff is having a bad day ....tell them to hide it an not take it out on us..or walk around in baggy pants PULL YOUR PANTS UP STAFF! If I wouldnt get arrested Id pull one stocker employees pants up, WAY TOO MUCH TO SEE PEOPLE!!!!
This Walmart location is a pretty busy one being on the east side of Athens. I havent had any issues with this location. Although it may be busy, it seems easier to get in and get out unlike other Walmarts Ive been to. Its not as unorganized as other Walmarts. I can say this location was cleaner than most others. Overall, it was a very easy trip to a Walmart.
Walmart is a huge uncaring company. I often have to go there late at night because of the hours I work. I have no choice but to use the automatic cashiers. Its such a damn big store I have to walk all over to get a few items from this department or that department.
Its a big place to walk through. Thats because they have a lot of stuff there. Its like a grocery store connected to a discount store. You can get just about anything you need, if you have the stamina to get it. If you dont, and need groceries, theyve just started a service where you can use their app to order groceries on line and pick them up at the store.
Nice new store new line of better high end products. Models the newer walmarts but still on the bad side of town. Some of the aisles are so narrow you can fit only one buggy down it at a time and theyve moved everything around so much i cant anything.
Not my favorite store. Only have good things during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Clean but some of the staff can be abrasive when it comes to asking questions. The older employees understand customer service alot more than some of the younger employees but the store is well lit and you can be in and out in under 5 mins as long as you know where everything is.
I dont understand why I had a Hispanic man stop me and demand my receipt for my bagged up groceries. Not happy with having to prove I paid for my stuff when leaving a store. I would be more understanding if it was a tv or some large item, but not the bags of groceries.
Awful experience. i want buy formula for my newborn baby, and want to use the manufacture coupon. even though it says on the coupon when any Infant formula is purchased, the cashier insist the coupon can only used on the formula that has images on the coupon. Apparent, the staff work there only can recognize pictures and cannot read!
This Walmart most certainly has the better clearance section!
Shelves were bare, clothes & miscellaneous items fallen on floor, overall store was messy & looked disorganized. Wasnt able to get even half of the items I had on my list. I was very disappointed with my visit to that particular Walmart store. I dont think I will be going back. Ill stick to my own local super Walmart store.
Although a large shopping facility, the Walmart staff present a neighborhood courtesy which makes your shopping adventure pleasurable.

Its a Walmart, so its pretty much what you would expect from Walmart. Most of the store staff are pretty decent people, and have been very helpful in answering questions or resolving issues.

2022-06-10They might as well close the store if they’re going to have half the merchandise off limits. At the very least, they should put up signage rather than having an old man wandering around in the section telling people to leave (not keeping them out, just waiting until they’re allll the way in the middle of the restricted area and about to grab what they need off the shelf and not letting them get it LMAO), and then getting an attitude with them when they ask where something else is.

2022-06-17I love my Walmart but lately they dont hardly have anything stocked, and if they do get merchandise in, its all over the store takes forever to get it put out. I know its hard on everyone but dang its getting to where going to have to find a new grocery store.Update 6-17-22They have completely remodeled the store even though they have moved every single thing nothing at all is where it used to be it still looks good they are doing better with products being in stock! The store looks great just take your time til you get used to where everything is now!

2021-11-29It was clean and well organized. For a holiday with a national shortage it was very well stocked. The service was very courteous and friendly. It was very well organized and efficient. There werent any excessive lines and the check out time was speedy. I was pleasantly surprised.

2021-09-09Mi gente. I dont recommend this place if you try to print pictures for your passport. When I told the guy, if he can cut it 2×2 the man he just told let me see what I can do. He took the pictures and cut it half. I told him I need for one passport after that he was very rude and say that all I can do. You all can see what pictures. He refused cut it 2×2 man was very disappointed it was my store but now I have think twice.

2022-02-20I wish I could say it has gotten better at handling their pickup situation especially since covid kind of forced them to get better and to offer it more but its only gotten worse somehow its! I dont understand! And you would assume that since people are getting paid a lot more to take these jobs, that maybe theyd have a little bit more of a better attitude but they are so rude! Everywhere every single Walmart I go to they are just so rude.:(
