Clean neat and orderly. A variety of things to shop for. My experience is that the produce is fresh. Thats my number one priority. I did not visit the restroom prior to this review.

The employees are usually very helpful and you can get in and out quickly early in the morning but if you see school busses outside you may as well keep riding cause its hundreds of Mexicans and youll wait a hour or longer to check out

One employee at customer support was very rude yelling at me over the counter and act as if she was going to hit me when she was in the wrong she acted very racist and made me pay for something I returned

I hate shopping at Walmart. The employees are rude. The service sucks. Always 100 registers and only 1 cashier. The self check out is always so crowded because none of the employees are going to lift a finger to do anything that they dont have to do. You would think that a place that big would have it together but nope. Not Walmart. They just come to your town and put small businesses out of business and then your stuck having to deal with their sorry good for nothing employees and service. Walmart You Suck. Get it together or get gone.
My pickups from Baxley Wal-Mart have been error-free and worry-free. Not having to enter the store during this pandemic eases my stress and reduces my anxiety. The associates do a marvelous job of separating my food items from my mom-food items, as well as placing poultry items in separate bags. They are prompt in bringing my purchases to my vehicle. A+ job!
Everything you need all in one place
I ordered Muscle shelving unit through the internet. It arrived today in this condition. One end of the box was ripped partially open and the other completely open with braces falling out. Ive ordered from Walmart many times and have been satisfied, but not this one.
Unless you like self checkout avoid this store. On a good day they will have 2 cashiers. They actually stand around and let lines go 6 to 10 deep

It showed 5 zone bars, so I added them to my cart! Then, I received an email saying they couldnt deliver only 2. Nor did they explain where my refund was! They will confuse the heck out of you! Never repeating that mistake again!
This Walmart needs a serious up-to-date renovation. Tho the greeters are friendly, the assistant managers appear to focus more on their wardrobe & cell phones than the glaring customer & store issues. The grocery belts are always filthy & some cashiers give me a hard time. For ex.: my ID had expired & I was refused cigs (Im 37), the pharmacy didnt have my med after I waited 2 solid hours (they werent busy, I was in line alone 80% of the wait) & my digital coupons couldnt be honored since they werent physical coupons. Every time Ive shopped in this store, I have walked out in worse shape. Ive decided to shop elsewhere.

It wasnt what i expected for a Saturday evening. CROWDED and a few employees wanted to talk instead of stock in the aisle I had to turn my buggy around and go to the next aisle to get what i needed. AT the register (i believe it was register 6) the cashier was quick to ring customers items up in an orderly fashion. She was GREAT! i wish yall had more cashiers like her.One last thing a lot of customers complain about is yall need more registers open during the holidays. Sometimes people are waiting in line to get checked out for over 20 minutes. Ive been one of those people so i know this is true. Yall need team up and make Walmart a pleasant place to shop. Instead of employees complaing about who has to do what. Just saying.
Found everything I was looking for. Checkout lines moved quickly and was greeted with a smile and friendly conversation by the cashier and a thank you as I was leaving. My family loves this Walmart
This is a nice Walmart. Its clean and well stocked, and less busy than Im used to (I live in the Atlanta area, so our stores can get packed! ). Im not used to the layout since we only come this way about once a year, but the employees have been very helpful whenever I need help finding something.
The employees forgot the cus ty omers are the reason they have a job.
Wouldnt let me return a $70 fishing pole that I purchased at 8am today because I lost the receipt and they dont do returns on sporting goods without a reciept. Literally purchased it 6 hours ago at the exact same store I tried to return it at and was denied. The pole was not used at all, just bought one extra in case we needed it. Very unsatisfied and will go elsewhere for my fishing gear from now on
I do not know who their professional shopper is but their clothes are only for pregnant women and old ladies. The workout section has shorts galore but only a few ugly tanks (that fit weird on everyone) to go with them.
One stop shopping. Thats what I love. The cashiers are friendly & they can help you find items you cant. I love self checkouts its so much faster. They have people there to help you so Im not nervous about using them.
Today I tried the pickup and its quick, easy, and the associate very professional. I just might try it again one day.

Walmart in Baxley, Georgia is great. Most of the employees speaks to you, are willing to help you when if you need help. And the pharmacy department is awesome 😂. Its a most visit for all your needs.
Not up to par with its claims. Store was busy as expected and this is going to be very shockibg to some, but there was not enough cashiers. Same old story Wal-Mart- somebody in upper managment please surprise us ALL and improve on this.
We had a very pleasant experience in the bakery area tonight. When others werent comfortable writing on our cake, when no one was around that was trained in that area, she took our silly little message and gave it her best shot. She did wonderful! And her customer service was above and beyond. We hope to deal with her in the bakery more often.

Most of the staff are very friendly, the store is pretty clean and well stocked. The produce is not the best or freshest because they keep it too wet. We have gotten bagged apples and clementines that were dripping wet. Greens, Iettuces and bagged salads are frequently wilted.
Even on a rainy day, my grocery pickup oder was flawlessly handled by Noah. Store was clean, staff was courteous and produce was fresh. Good job Walmart in Baxley GA.

I live in Orlando, FL. My brother lives in Baxley. So, the only way we can really bond is by online gaming. His controller broke on him yesterday so I ordered one for him to pick-up from the local Walmart there. When he showed up a little early, they proceeded to tell him to wait until the scheduled pickup time (7-8PM). When he asked if they could grab that single item off the shelf for him, they said they could - but he’d have to pay for it.Why TF would you make someone purchase something that’s already paid for???!!!When he explained to me what happened, I tried calling them in three different departments to resolve the issue - yep, you guessed it - NO ANSWER!!! I used to work in this Walmart when I was younger and the supervisors/manager were always passionate about stellar customer service and received recognition for doing so. I guess that accolade has faded with the rest of store...I’ll never order anything else from this location.

What is the purpose of having self chech out when one of the yellow coat managers stand there and watches your every move I understand they have to be careful of theft but the one reason I do self check out is because the cashiers dont know how to bag the groceries and not to mention that we are from a small town and for some reason the prices are higherin my are people dont have alot of money but Walmart seems to be raising prices on the most essential items
Visited garden center to get a rake and bug spray. This was my first time at this store so had to ask where bug spray was. Employee took me to it. He then checked us out quickly. He was very friendly. Garden center did not have many plants in stock.
Excellent service. i had an accident after an ear piercing and they were very nice and help me with water and crackers. always get help whenever i need it. everyone has an okay attitude.

Associates were not friendly and having to wait in line because self checkout were card only and 2 register open.
It smells like nasty feet , store not big enough for all the people that come in at once. Never anybody in the fitting room areas. the Isles are not big enough. And the clothes are to close to the check out counters.
Staff are not as courteous as before & dont like to be asked for help. They are quick to tell you to go to Walmart.com if you cant find what youre looking for without going to see if its in the back. 🤔🤔😤😤😤

No one in the store is following or enforcing the social distancing guidelines or wearing of masks. In fact, there seems to be a totally lackadaisical attitude in the town of Baxley overall. Its very disturbing and I dont feel safe going to places in my own town. Considering doing business in Hazlehurst instead. I can only hope that the folks there are taking this deadly virus pandemic more seriously and being more responsible than the folks in Baxley

I tried to call Walmart because I didnt get some of my items when I left checkout. I was at home when I realized it and didnt want to go back that late at night. Nobody answered the phone. I called like 12 times with different extensions. I dont know who pays the phone bill there but they are wasting their money!
I just got interrogated as if I were a terrorist in Guantanamo bay. By a member of management . Which for someone demanding to know the names of my family or friends that purchased the product less than 12 hours prior.. as I walked into the Baxley store. With the product as well as the paper reciept in my hands. From my vehicle . I parked In the very front. As I disabled and handicapped, I feel that should be enough to deal with.. But this was an out right assault on me. And to pull this and exaggerate every detail. A d refuse to accept my return. Which as all of the returns I ever do. Were well within the specific written words of the WAL-MART return policy. I did not read any where in that particular policy the Lets publicly humiliate Mr. Chris Dennard because we are the Baxley Wal mart, and do not abide by or honor our own companys policy, standards, code of conduct, nor do we care to honor or customers that have served our great nation, that have given there lives and service to assure The Baxley WAL-MART the rights and the freedom to be able to have the time for THE ONLY HEATHER IN THE BUILDING, THE MEMBER OF MANAGEMENT Which I now believe to be a terrorist organization. That I fear my life. And since my mother A retired Game Warden. Was treated the exact same way, on a separate occasion. At this very same store. This is not a wal mart policy. I do feel my civil rights and my consumer rights were savagely violated. And with no remorse. I never seen such joy it brought to THE ONLY HEATHER IN THE BUILDING To admit publicly and very audible.. that they were not going to return my purchased items. And that they were commandeering my receipt. Until I agreed to us all watching the video. And I would even buy us all popcorn. To let everyone here that heard you tell me that you were not taking my return, because of a video. Then let us all watch and see this video. And have popcorn. If you can show me i in any way, did any wrong, or violated any policy, then take me to jail. Or accept that you are wrong and I do feel that I should get th3 same amount of publicity when the Member of Management that is the only HEATHER IN THE BUILDING at the Baxley WAL-MART apologize s to me for making a fool of herself and falsely accusing and so brutally slandered my name and Dignity.. With no regard at all for the policies in place..by the very company, that she is paid by to enforce. Baxley is close to home and we visit there quite often to purchase cockteil bird seed and dog food for our Lizzie girl puppy house dog. We have A granddaughter Abby that has rescued a baby kitten from the trash pile behind our house she is a good Mommy to this cat so Nanna has been helping her with food and litter and she is trying to potty train. Not sure if its a girl or a boy but it gets older we can tell. Thanks Walmart Super Center for your convenience .

Im staying overnight in my RV during the hurricane evac & there is a lot of fast traffic for a parking lot. Joan the CSR was very nice when I asked permission to stay, & several employees were helpful & kind. The items I wanted were gone, but thats to be expected. Overall, the southern hospitality was good & they were doing what they could with what they had.

Our Wal-Mart is slowly coming around to the 21st century, I love most of our cashiers they treat you like family !! Some of there clothes for bigger sized women can be totally ugly !!! But for most food is pretty good , except red meat you almost have to get a second mortgage!!!

This Walmart is way to small for the volume of customers .The aisles crammed in , you cant even navigate past fellow shoppers. As for the poor selection of all food goods ,Its seem to be about the same as a convenience store but a litte larger . Its poorly stocked due to high amounts of customers.The prices are just ok , very little beef or chicken , pork in the cases at all times .The staff is nice. Baxley needs a Publix , Kroger , Winn Dixe ( Harveys just sucks ) or even a Aldi would be a great improvment to the city as a whole , and bring better prices and jobs to Baxley . This area will help the town grow and bring shoppers from Jesup , Hazlehurst and Surrency . Baxley is posied for Explosive growth in the next few years !!!

In my opinion, Baxley, G.As Walmart Supercenter is better than Hazlehurst, G.As Walmart Supercenter. My reason for this is because Baxleys Walmart has a very large selection for everything... literally. Dont get me wrong, I do love Hazlehursts Walmart, it is very convenient, I just wish both countys carried the same inventory.

The Wal-Mart in Baxley is one of the best ones in this small area. They carry a lot of ethnic and unusual foods. The parking lot is well lit, store is clean, the staff friendly, and the prices ... well ... this is Wal-Mart after all! It is an enjoyable place to shop.

I am an evacuee from Tampa, Fl and just called today to see if they were open. Someone answered the phone and I asked if they were open and I said Well obviously youre open, you answered the phone, and the lady stated very rudly, No no no. Obviously we are closed. Clearly customer service needs to be worked on.
I had to stand in line to use the self checkout register. Understandable if the registers were all full but half were closed. Why? Why close a self checkout register?
Didnt have in stock what was in stock on app. It was a toy set for my son. The worker in toys refused to go in back and check.

We needed help in paint. The machine was broke, so that wasnt going to happen. I dont think it was going to happen anyway, as there were no employees on that side of the store.
Associate in sporting goods was very rude to my husband. It was a chore for her to get something out of the case.

2022-04-02More than one brand to choose from on grocery aisles and I always find some good deals throughout the different departments. I can get everything I need in one stop. My only complaint is that its always hot/stuffy inside the store and the farther you go to the back the warmer it gets. Ive asked at check out on several different visits why its so hot and each time Im told the same thing, that the actual store has no control over the thermostat that corporate controls it and every time they go on to say that as customers we could/should call corporate to complain because they as employees were not allowed to and hopefully if enough people complained they would make adjustments.

2022-04-06The people at Pickup are really nice. But yall need to put a drive thru up for them to load cars. Yesterday it was raining horribly & wind was very strong. I watched them loading up cars in it & felt sorry for them.Adding a drive thru with a bell hose that dings when a car pulls up would be so helpful....

2022-02-08Love walmart for the most part they have a few people picking groceries that need to act like they are purchasing for them selves, and the whole pharmacy staff is outstanding, Manager Mc kinsey is awesome and Pharmacists Brittany is very polite and helpful, pharmacy staff Levy is very friendly knowledgeable and great all the way around.

2022-06-17It’s a Walmart, it has everything you need in a small town. Bathrooms are definitely not the best maintained but overall good customer service.

2021-11-27I visit this location several times a week. I must say, I have seen major improvement at this location. The exterior of the store is clean, buggies are always available, shelves are stocked more frequently, very little things are out of place, employees are going beyond the call to help, majority of the lanes are open, which means less time in the store. I didnt get the chance to visit the rest or fitting room. However, I am very pleased at what I see, and hope this continue after the holiday season. One last thing. Can management please order Fat Boys ice cream sandwiches at this store location? Thanks and great job employees.

2022-04-28Couldnt find a particular shampoo I was looking for, I guess they quit carrying it because this is the second Walmart Ive been to looking for the shampoo.
