As a vendor I visit all the Walmart stores in the tri-state area so I can compare the different stores. This is hands down the worst Walmart in all of the tri-state area. It doesn’t compare to the other Walmart stores. Employee happiness, product variety and stock levels are below par. The gas station is closed half the time or the pumps are not working. This is a “super center” Walmart but Walmart stores smaller than this have more to offer.
Registers were horrible. Half of self check out registers were not working. There were only 2 manned registers open. There was something i had that wouldnt ring up, it took the attendant several minutes to come resolve. But i found most of what i needed. I went for a garden shed but there was no one available to assist with this.
Just got on Toy aisle to look at remote cars grandsons just stared looking at cars when a female associate came down the isle and said dont be opening the boxes which was already there when we hot down that isle and ask where your parents are and they had to be accompanied by parents of course me and my son was in the middle isle of course we said somthing to her...the boys are 14 and 12 1/2..she was rude to them not knowing there daddy and grandmother was in the middle idle...so ticked off..
Good service friendly associates but some product was not in stock the last time I went. Sales associates are great but prices are soaring and many many items are seemingly always out of stock. A rise in prices and declining stock have me often searching other stores but still love the convenience.
Best Walmart I have ever been too. Up on a hill top, great view of the mountains. This is NOT a typical trailer trash Walmart. Staff is super friendly. Very clean. No trash in the parking lot. Just a great experience. I live in Tampa and typically avoid Walmart at all costs. Great job on this one. Sam would be proud.
Got some stuff this morning and went to a regular checkout (not self). Got all our stuff scanned and bagged and I’m always good about checking to make sure I got everything, but apparently I overlooked one of my items and left it on the till. Came back 5 hours later to see if they kept it in the back for me to pick up. Gave them my receipt and everything, and I was informed that yes, I had left it at the register but I’d have to go back to the aisle and get another. Trouble is, I got the last one this morning. But I double checked anyway and there wasn’t another one. So instead of holding the item for me to come back and get, they resold it to someone else. An item that had already been paid for.I understand not keeping it for too long, but at least 24 hours would be much more courteous than immediately reselling the item you paid for to another customer. Ridiculous.
Wal-Mart stores play to many games with there customers.Many of the shields that are stocked Do Not have the actual price of the item you select. Either they just dont care thinking that all of there customers are stupid, or the workers are to lazy to place the correct price for each item.Another WalMart game is upon checking out at the register. I have amount on my receipts for items that I never purchased.I learned a while ago to review my receipt while my cart is still at the register. Because if you dont, when you get home to check it, youll find that: Whats this cornchips for $3.39 that I never bought.Trust me on this, I am not the only one who had to experience this error.
I have been using the pick up option lately and I really like it! The only thing is I wouldnt go close to closing as I havent found the employees handling my order to be as..friendly we will say. Could have been a fluke but I go in the early day hours and have never had a problem.
Found ticking cloth there to redo a very old and well loved feather pillow that was given to me by some very dear people who have since passed and holds great sentimental value to me at and extraordinary price compared to all looked at on the inter net! So the next time you should think inter net might want to check Wal mart first if you are a bean counter as I am when it comes to a bargain😄
Store had everything I was looking. One item in the soft drink isle, was out of my reach. A store employee observed the difficulty I was having, came to where I was standing and assisted me in getting the soft drink carton. I did not get his name to properly give him credit. This occured on march 08, between 1&2 pm.
Had an experience with pickup grocery service. Met an associate named Kimberly, she was a delight. What a great customer service encounter. She was so friendly, called us by our name, how she had moved all the frozen items together. She is the Ritz Carlton experience you always want to have. WOW.
Walmart went from being a new experience and a great place to shop years ago when it first opened to turning into an uncaring large corporation. 1 of every 20 visits are good, not great but good. This isn’t just a Blairsville, GA issue. It’s like this everywhere. Fortunately, in Blairsville I can get everything I need except 2 items somewhere else. Lots of local places to shop at. And they treat you like gold.The view in the parking lot is pretty though
Blairsville Walmart is the worst. I went in 2day and there was barely any produce. Then when we left (while still in parking lot.) What did I see not 1, but 2 employees parked so close to the side door. I refuse to speak with the store manager, because from prior experiences nothing ever was resolved. Now, your store has been with Blairsville for a lil minute, we(residents of Blairsville) know when families come on vacation. Why your store cannot keep up with this demand is beyond me. You should always take care of your locals. After all we continue to shop all year long. We all know all over the world that money lines many pockets in the corporate world, maybe some of you can grow a conscious.
The employyes there have no time for to ansqer cuatomer questions. They just keep.walking as ypu are asking and they answer you while you are walking behind them .I have been in retail.more than 30 yrs and the #1 priority is the CUSTOMER.. Like STOP what u are doing and answer the customer
Same old story whatever, all all I wanted to share was that the bakery department has gone way downhill.. I guess they stopped selling a lot of other outside products and now only so Walmart products and theyre just not as good, dont have my favorite cupcakes anymore, and the ooey gooey bars I bought yesterday should have been called dry and nasty because they werent even edible
The most enjoyable activity at the Blairsvill Walmart, believe or or not, is the auto dept.I had 2 new front tires on my auto, and they even mounted the wheels. Only coated me about $100.The next day for only $29 I received an oil, and oil filter change for only $29.I receive excellent service, and hay, everything has a mony back policy.Who can beat this? O.
Went to the Walmart in Blairsville. Found everything we were looking for, plus some. There were extremely long lines. They only had 3 checkouts open, plus the self checks, which is only 4 registers on each side of the store. Absolutely NO Walmart associates in the electronics department.
I ordered on line for the holidays and the staff at the Pick up location was nothing but awesome. The were very friendly and fast at getting my order to me. The only issues I have are people smoking near the entrance and people putting their dogs in the shopping cart where I have to put my food. Its very unsanitary. Overall, I love the one stop shop.
Walmart sucks,,increases in prices on everything, lack of product consumers want to buy,to products walmart corporations only want to be on shelves to force the buy,,large percentage of employees are rude,crude,mean,and just dont give a sh__,for or about the customers,
The handicap carts here are horrendous. The store in Blue Ridge far better service they take care of their carts for the people that need them. If they catch teenagers riding around just for fun they make them stop. Also a much better selection. Also very clean store.
Was shopping for Christmas decorations and picked out several outside decorations, when I got to the register to check out the item wouldnt ring up, the associate stated the item was recalled, I told them there were several of the items on the shelf and ask to speak to a manager, the manager was called and stated the item was restricted and I ask why, she states she did not know but she couldnt sell it to me. As I was finishing checking out she came back and proceeded to tell me that the item was meant for the black friday sale. Afterwards I looked up the online ad, there were several decorations out on the shelf to buy but shouldnt have been out until 11/26 as they dont go on sale until 11/27. I could understand if it were the regular black friday deals that are usually in the middle isles but these items were not like that, they were on the shelves with all the other Christmas decorations. Poor management...poor service...
Called this store for 3 days at different times to inquire if the fitting rooms were open so I would not have to make a 50 mile trip if they were not. No one ever picked up the phone. I finally called the Murphy, NC store and someone picked up on the second ring.I will advise the Blairsville location Manager of this experience.
I realize that Black Friday only happens once a year and we are ALL aware that stores have limited stock in certain items, but this store needs some managers with integrity and honesty about them. I called the store early Friday morning, inquired about an electronic item I wanted to purchase and was told personally by the Assistant Manager that they had 5 in stock and had sold NONE that morning. I was in the middle of buying the item online site to store which would be available to pick up later that day - according to their website. While speaking to the Asst. manager, I asked if it would be better for me to come to the store now and buy it or continue my purchase online. He said to finish buying the item and he would immediately pull that order up and fulfill it and I could come by and pick it up. So 5 hours later I go by the store and it is still in Review status which I was informed meant that they might not have the item available. With in store purchases and online orders those 5 items would go quickly. So needless to say my order was cancelled, they no longer have stock of the item, wont be getting it restocked and I wasted a whole day trying to purchase it. Not to mention the time I had in run around from this assistant manager. I was told that he would try to find the item and give me the sale price but he really had no intention of ever doing that and has avoided my phone calls and in store visits. They need to promote someone else and remove him from that position. Lousy way to do business...I will never buy from them again as long as he works there.
Much better than the Walmart in Murphy N.C. They are about 20 miles apart. Went to the Murphy location with intent of purchasing 3 pairs of blue jeans. Stock of jeans were shuffled like a deck of cards, mixed sizes, types and brands. Many not folded and a total clusterf--k.The Blairsville store was organized, stacked per brand, type and size.Bought 3 pairs of Wrangler jeans and walked out smiling.
Walmart is great if you dont need help with anything! I had retrieve a Halloween blow up yard figure on the top shelf while I waited for associate to help me. He said he would be rite back with another associate to help! 13 min. Later he came back with no one to find me packing the box up heading for the check out line. He said I was coming back to help you...my response was where is your spotter. He said nothing...I said I handle the situation in a timely manner. Bye.
Ive been using the option to have my items brought out to my car. SUPER CONVENIENT!!!!👍👍 I just order what I need online and they bring it out to your car. Im also not overspending walking around the store, which is important during the holidays! LOL! Either way love this Wal-Mart. Ive been to other Wal-Marts and they were very dirty and things were everywhere, not where they belonged. We have a great Wal-Mart!
Clean and normally stocked. My complaint is freezers have ice coated on some of the ice cream products. Been that way for months. Usually friendly staff but occasionally youll get one that does not belong in a position dealing with people. Otherwise, I like this Walmart for its down home feel.
Absolutely great! Meat counter was closed when I got up to it but she went ahead and took my order seeing that I was done in from walking through out the store. Bless her heart. She saved me from having to go to the grocery store and standing in line for a long time!!❤
They are not enforcing the masks. I even asked a worker, and he told me that they do not enforce it. Only about 45% of people in the store were wearing masks. I was unhappy with this and left. This store will lose customers like me who are Covid-conscious by allowing this behavior.
It was horrible, the cashier was very rude we checked out in lawn and garden because we got 20 bags of munch and it made him made about checking us out, had to ask for a receipt and he tried to say he gave us one and did not. I did a lot shopping there but not no more
Its Wal-Mart. You know whats up. Same as most locations. Understocked, mediocre customer service, and nearly useless floor staff.They have all of the stuff you would expect.This location has a gas station and convenience store. Pharmacy, tire, lube, and battery center.Highly recommend Wal-Mart pickup, especially during pandemic.Beer and wine, but NO LIQUOR. Dry county.Chronically busy.
Clean Walmart and friendly staff! 👍🏻 We went in for Subway sandwiches for picnic at Meeks park but Subway was closed so we got the premade sandwiches and they were good. Dont forget to grab some mayo and mustard though. The italian subs came with a hot pepper sauce that was good.
I hate shopping at Walmart but I got to say it’s always a pleasure shopping at this walmart we have lived here 5 yrs and this is one of the best they have actual ppl who run the registers and the ppl sticking the shelves are more than happy to always help you they will go out of there way. I love this Walmart
This store never has certain items and when they do have the items, they are expired or spoiled. Ive returned meat, had to toss out eggs.. in which the items didnt have an expiration date or the date was covered up. I would get the item home and realize the items were spoiled. Disgusting.
Very very busy. Have yet to see their helper up by the registers but prices are good.Only 4 cashiers on a sat? Seriously? Spent more time in line trying to pay than shopping! The news keeps saying that they are giving bonuses & pay raises but at what expense when they cut payroll up front & on the floor?
Always clean and typically well stocked. If I did have one complaint, it would be that they often have workers sticking the aisles with large carts full of stuff in the middle of the busiest times of day, making it extremely difficult for customers to get by. Perhaps they should keep their cart at the end of the aisle as to prevent a traffic jam in the aisles where customers have to essentially untangle themselves. Other than that, employees are professional and helpful, and the store is in good repair.
I do my food shopping at Walmart in Blairsville, GA. They have everything we need including organic fruits, vegetables, and foods. Self checkout is available so you do not have to stand in line to be checked out. They have a no-hassle return policy and no questions asked. The staff is always available to help you with your needs and to answer your questions. Assistance is always available if you require it.
They are a great store but they go out of the way to make you feel like youre a shoplifter like not everyone in the world steals or takes things that isnt theres if they could stop this then maybe they will get more business. Several others I know feel this way too, I watched them harass a older woman she of course didnt take anything and left in tears pathetic service and treatment
Always looks clean, staff always working hard, seem very knowledgeable with every department except for electronics, and its the only Walmart within 40 miles of Blairsville which is why they should have more items to offer than what they do now. And another thing they always want to send you to online shopping if I did online shopping I wouldnt be at the store now would I.
WalMart has steadily declined in their customer service and since the Covid-19 WalMart has consistently raised prices during a pandemic when knowing people are becoming desperate due to fear. Also where are all the employees when we need assistance? The phones ring and ring hardly ever answered. The managers are not all bad but a choice few have attitudes that make customers feel like we are an inconvenience to them just by being there. Especially the older lady with white blonde (?) hair. One lady is outstanding and that would be Amanda at customer service and one gentleman. I will add his name as soon as I find out. Always a smile and helpful with a solution. I do not like dealing with this WalMart and if I do I do my best to go to the check out where Justin B works or pray Amanda is working the service counter.
Every single week, we cannot find 1/3 of the groceries on our list. They are always out of stock or they switch the brand they are carrying. I am so tired of this routine and will shop at another store or go to Walmart in Murphy NC as they are always stocked and fresher than this store.
I hate that they are pushing employees out & trying to get customers to do their jobs. They keep replacing cashiers with self checkouts which I find to be some of the most unintuitive Ive ever used. So now the cashier checkout lines are always long, so its me the paying customer that is inconvenienced. If you want me to work in your store & play cashier, pay me with a discount on what I buy & self check-out Wal*Mart & stop trying to squeeze even more profit out of me!

My purpose was to return a item bought from the Walmart marketplace. The purchase was from Device Replay. No where on the product description did it says this was a used product. Now Walmart tells me I have to wait for refund from Device Reply. Not a happy customer with Walmart right now. I feel they allowed a scam company to sell on their website and they are responsible for the misleading, underhanded business of this company. I paid $129 for the product and the packing slip was from a third company stating the price was $69.00. What a RIP!!! If I wanted a used product I would not purchase one at top dollar. The Walmart person returned the item and was helpful but stated their was no more he could do.
I only had two (2) items. The 20 items or less lane wasnt open, so I had to use the regular lane and wait a tad under 15 minutes before it was my turn to be checked out. Thats a long time to stand in line. The store was very busy. Couldnt figure out why there werent more registers open; especially the 20 items or less register. Very frustrating.
My wife brought her car into the service center for a simple oil change. When the car was finished it wouldnt start. My wife went back inside and spoke to the department manager who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He even laughed in her face and blamed her for the car not starting. They told her they would fix the problem but she would have to pay for it. The car was perfectly fine until she took it to the Blairsville Walmart. I attempted to call and speak to the department manager twice. The first time I was hung up on and the second time I was placed on hold for 40 minutes! Unless you just enjoy being ripped off and treated like garbage, Do NOT take your vehicle to the Blairsvile Walmart service center!!!
Customer service was very rude, I went to return some makeup I had bought for gift bags for my daughters party. All was not used nor had been opened. I Was looked at strangely and Continuously questioned about my returns. I expected regular questions like why are you returning this or was it defective etc. But that was far from the case. They made me feel like I had stolen all of it and tried to return it. I guess their not use to people returning makeup? I will not be purchasing anymore items from this Walmart and I hope nobody else has to go thru the uncomfortable unnecessary looks and questioning.
Just a ok store.. what really brings it down is the auto department... Understaffed who are underworked.. Showed up at 6:40am to have new tires installed. (visited the day before and didnt want a 3hr wait). That morning being second in line the first customer had 2 tires installed and left at 8:12. Up next for 4 tires they werent done until 9:30am. They have a 1st come 1st serve policy, Got into an argument with Phillip snarly old cuss at service desk who said they were working on my car but I noted my car had only 1 tire off for 15 minutes before I approached him.... No explanation no apology. While I waited a simple oil change was being quoted at 2 hrs and the place was empty.... Simply put buy staples here (not meat, chicken etc) but nothing else and nothing in auto department!!!!
Was not terribly happy with the tire department. They called and said my tires were in and ready to install. Got there and was told it was a 3 1/2 hour wait. Ok I go to run some errands and will return later. Ask if they could give me a call when ready. Was told no. Kinda of rude. This may be my last attempt at buying times here. Price difference is not enough to deal with poor customer service.
Remodeling doesnt excuse mdsecluttering the floors, aisles nearly blocked with sale fixtures, the exterior littered with cigarette butts, discarded food and wrappers--plus packaging blown out of recycling bales. The least they could do is eye-level temp signage guiding confused customers to new locations of mdse. Employees are doing their best; you can spot managers because they look right through you.
Employee took a picture of my son in law while he was in line and posted it on social media saying something about how he was gonna kick his butt, the employee was working at the time, i know that when we are in public we open our selves up to being photographed, but this person was ON THE JOB...... When we called and spoke to management about the situation, they just told my son in law that seeing the employee was willing to take the post down they didnt believe he had done anything to violate privacy...
Needed Allen wrench for emergency wheelchair repair. the guy totally hooked me up. He just tighten the bolt up and my wheelchair tires stayed on. I could have broke my arm in front of Walmart. what a great guy at the blairsville Walmart in automotive center. They are top notch. Good job
Often they do not have enough help at checkout. The self checkout has to have supervision do how does this help situation . I just see it takes one sometimes 2 people to assist people ? The staff is friendly but the greeters could be nicer. That is their job. Grouchy Greeter MAKES YOU WANT To LEAVR AND NOT COME back.
They have a lot more to offer than the Murphy store. Better selection of clothes, phones, and for women they have a nice selection of bras and some lingerie. Ladies I am talking about the cute, sexy with matching panties in all sizes. I have never seen them at the Murphy N.C location.
Just like wal mart gets a slow when it gets crowded. Really dont like the fact that at night you have to check yourself out, there isnt any cashiers at night. Which there should be. Because we all dont know how to use those things. And we shouldnt have to if we dont want to. But at this location after dark you dont have a choice. Thats why I dislike this location.
Gotta love Walmart! I was along for the ride with family members that stopped at Walmart for a BB gun. I knew they would only need about 15 minutes to get what they needed. I was still able to get 2 pair of shorts, 5 t-shirts, 7 tank tops, bread, milk, lettuce, yogurt, large bags of frozen mixed fruits and bags of frozen chopped spinach! (Okay, so I skipped the fitting room).. I was dead on with my size selection but even if I hadnt been, Walmart is never difficult about exchanges, especially when your recipe is available. You just cant go wrong with Walmart 😀
Thisa covid 19 thing going into affect on july 20th requiring everyone to wear mask is not right This is going to make you loose customers. I have already made arrangements to move all my buisness to other stores including my pharmacy. My family have used your pharmacy since Your opening the walmart store in union county ga. My son has over $1000 worth of meds a month. I will not be shopping there again it is my right to decide if i want to wear a mask or not and you all are trying ro take that right from me.
I am giving one star cause I cant give 0. This is the number one worst Walmart ever all their employees are very rude and stuck up. You cant get a bit of help from anyone. I have brought stuff get it home and it not work and when I call tlto see if I can exchange the items they get rude then when I ask to talk to a manager about the problem they hang up on me. I have brought meats home and as soon as I get home I come to find my meat rotten. And they would not do anything about it. I would not recommend this Walmart to my worst enemy. And the subway in this Walmart is run by a bunch of no good meth heads.
Went to walmart yesterday and had my oil changed my car was perfect. No issues and no problems, no leaks no nothing. After leaving walmart, now there is a major ticking noise coming from my car. I worked hard for my car and I use to respect the service the given to me by walmart auto care center but after dealing with the auto center general manager today and feeling like Im not being listened to. Its not my fault that one of your mechanics messed up on my car. But I will no longer deal with walmart auto center and I will not come back for sure
Awesome selection of outdoor gear compared to my local Walmart in town, but unfortunately there is not even ONE single bottle of chilled wine in the whole store!! Staff is OK and friendly for the most part, but it is obvious that the store is not run as well as others

2022-01-25Came to this Walmart for some food to cook while camping and hiking in the area. Huge parking lot with plenty of parking and nicely stocked shelves which is a rarity these days. Also, where else can you go to a Walmart and get such spectacular views of the mountains from the parking lot?

2022-03-25I ordered on line and picked my order up today. Kevin was absolutely the greatest. He had a conversation with my 5 year old granddaughter while he was loading the car and he made her feel very special. Kudos to him. Great customer service!

2022-06-10Many Aisles could not accommodate the standard size scooter. As a disabled person I found the lack of fully charged scooters alarming. I will never go back there, however I gave it 2 stars because they seemed to be well stocked

2022-06-14They allowed a non service, mean dog in the store. It was lunging and barking at people. I love dogs, have 4 of my own, but do not believe they need to shop with me. Keep them at home and not in the car.

2022-06-23Crowded, dirty conveyor belts, employees always stocking and IN EVERYONES WAY, only one side of the store has self checkouts that are open, and I have to shop at other stores to find items they dont carry or are consistently out of. This store in particular makes me grateful every time I go there, no matter day or time.

2022-06-14Terrible service. Accused me of trying to break the law with them going against their own return policies. I was given two books for my B-Day that I already own. Was told by an associate and later a manager that I was breaking copyright law by trying to get a refund so I could find other books that I didnt already own to enjoy. Firstly, this is not a violation of copyright law. Second, their return policy says plainly that a return of a gift is allowed within 90 days provided the book is in the same condition it was when purchased with or without a receipt. Without a receipt they are required to put it on a gift card unless the amount is under $10. The Blairsville location did not follow this policy and this is not the first time. Ive had them call me a thief, tell me Im a criminal, tell me Im making them break the law on multiple occasions. I dont have to do exchanges or returns often, usually less than once or twice per year (thank goodness), but the Blairsville Ga location is the worst to deal with. Not every time, but more often then not they are very rude and Ive even had managers yell at me to leave the store immediately when Ive been nothing, but polite. Ive always complied when told to leave and then spend 3 gallons of my own gas (currently $12 extra out of my own pocket) to go to the next closest Walmart to get the exchange or refund done and Ive never had any hassle at the other locations. Only the Blairsville Ga location is rude and ignores their own return policies.Edit: Another manager, Michelle, contacted me and apologized. She gave me a gift card covering my extra gas and inconvenience of having to drive to the Walmart in the next town over.

2022-06-16I have never had a issue at this store before this morning . I went to grab a cart and two would not come apart so I went to grab another one . The ANIMAL who retrieves carts ripped the two stuck carts apart and pushed them my way . Rude & Threatening would be an understatement . I cant imagine that I am the only one who had two carts stick together . I asked the man what his problem was but he couldnt hear me because he had earbuds in . Either that or he just didnt care . Very sorry excuse for any employee anywhere !

2019-11-22Anytime I have been here weather Ive lost something or have a question about a purchase they have always helped me. I have found a phone and keys in the parking lot and turned them in and they have gotten back to the rightful owner. Thank goodness theyre still honest people out there. Cashiers are friendly. Other than great value taking over the grocery side of the store you can usually find what u need. Onions are not ever really good. There are bathrooms in the front and the back of the store. They have buggies where there are seats for the kids separate from the cart available that are parked around the left side of the building. They have a pharmacy. Bakery makes great donuts and cakes etc. The view from the store is amazing! And their is also a gas station with competitive gas prices too. Oh and a car/tire center also. Have any questions ask me. 2021-12-31Hey all.. this is a review for 1 person in particular. Today, as I do every Friday, I went to money services to load money on my GreenDot card. The transaction went smooth as normal until 30 min later and the money had not loaded. After attempting to reach help through several 800 numbers and not getting anywhere, I went back to Walmart. Katie, the clerk, who had cashed my check was surprised to see me again. I have to give her huge applause!!!! She was so helpful and professional. The service desk was busy and she stayed on hold and took care of customers at the same time... keeping calm, cool and collected at the same time. After approx 45 min we finally got the answer. I feel like she truly went above and beyond. Getting that kind of customer service helps restore a little faith. GREAT JOB KATIE AND THANK YOU

2022-02-20Great place to shop for my groceries. I also like to refill my 5 gallon purified water bottle here. The water is much better for me to consume because the well water at my house gives me kidney stones.
