Walmart Supercenter in other cities:
OK, so I was talking to the gentleman up here and I decided that I would do a little post for all the people who have never done the order online and pick up at your store.... it’s easy and saves a lot of rime and hassle. If you bought groceries you pull up to the pick up parking area but make sure it says “pickup” on the ground or your parking in the wrong spot and they won’t come to you.. Open your app and click check in. They know you’re here and they’ll bring it right out to you. It’s easy and fast!If you ordered anything else, besides groceries, you walk in to the store and go straight to the pick up area and check in on the computer. They will immediately bring it out to you as wellI hope this helps!!!
So disappointed! Scanned to make sure an item was correct, got to the check out, 5 dollars more! Manager told me, “we don’t go by the Walmart scanner on phone but “our” scanner “!!!!!! My Walmart app told me aisle and location! Come on Walmart, quit ripping people off!
If you dont come at the right times you can never get a wheelchair. Needless to say today was the wrong time on my short walk to customer service I noticed several young ladies with toddlers in different families go by in different departments. They looked suspiciously healthy just on the heavy side of the scale...I only have the energy to try to go shopping maybe once a week and cant walk due to my oxygen dropping with every step. Even with my oxygen on it still drops to 75 or below by the time I walk from the truck to the front door. Usually my husband lets me out at the front door and I used to sit on a wheelchair when available otherwise I would sit on the bench inside the doors. Well those are gone so those plans are over with. Needless to say once again the trip was cut short and my shopping day was over. Couldnt even stand to go through subway for lunch. On the plus side I probably saved alot of money...
I use to love going to Walmart super center but ever since the pandemic came its not really fun to shop any more they dont have mask available for the customers that do you use them, they also discontinued a lot of items that I normally get. Its more its more frustrating shopping there than anything did anything. Plus theres no one to help me put my grocery in the car at all since Im disable I would love help out whenever I need it. Most of the staff members are friendly thats the only thing keeps me coming back every now and then.
I visited this Walmart to get a few supplies. The service was subpar and the young lady at the self-checkout called another customer a jackass and had a bad attitude. No one seems to know where anything was and they were out of a lot of items. Would not visit this Walmart again.
Garden Center is locked from the outside, bags of soil outside. You select item from the locked garden center, then, you must leave the garden center, go through the store, leave you items, go outside pick up 40 pound bag of soil, bring it back in the store to your buggy, then go to check out???????
Unfortunately I have to go to Walmart to get my phone card if I didnt have to I probably would never go there because theres hardly no staff theres extremely long lines to the checkout yourself they barely have any cashiers ever and theres forever lines it just takes so long for someone thats just running in to get a card to come back out
It is a wonderful thing to be able to shop on such a large place and never leave your car. This trend is essential for those who are elderly, Ill, or moms with small children. I appreciate what these workers do for all of us. One request is that you guys adopt the idea to allow customers to communicate directly with the shoppers to ensure that they can choose other options of Walmart is out of anything or have no adequate substitute. It really does help to know that my opinion counts. Other than that, you all are wonderful.
What can I say... its walmart. The employees are pleasant. The shelves are almost always stocked, even with the OTR truck driver shortage and all of the product company shortages because of the pandemic. I just wish we had a way to contact the person making the decisions about the clothing choices in the stores. I run in to find a pair of professional pants for work and usually have NO real choices.
Never seen a walmart this crowded in a town. Brunswick needs another walmart. staff are not polite and. having a police at the self check out?? come on, take the self check out, cut down on having bunch employees all over you while you are scanning if theft is so bad.. GET RID OF THE DARN SELF CHECK OUT. CUT DOWN ON EMPLOYEES THAT ARE HOVERING OVER YOU
The Walmart chain is a great idea and I have to say I like many others do not look forward to going into any Walmart, but because of the overcrowding mostly and there always being a shortage of lines that are open. NEVER enough lines open. Even with the new DIY self -heck-outs it takes forever. The store could use more employees working and not hanging out in camera blind spots talking about whatever also. Never have I seen so many lazy and unprofessionally dressed employees. It is almost impossible to find help in any given department without searching or having customer service call for help. Mr. Henry & Mrs. Renee are the only two employees that I have seen go above and beyond for customer satisfaction, too bad I dont know their last names. You can find what you want here, but dont expect to get out any time soon.
Basically the center of Waycross.Usually has the majority of everything I want in stock and employees are friendly enough.Cannot recommend their Auto Repair services. Once took 8 hours for them to get around to the brakes on my car, despite being told it would be an hour wait. Was a bad time.Would appreciate bathrooms that dont smell so bad, but eh- its WalMart. Kinda comes with the reputation.
The entire store had lines that range from fifteen to twenty people standing in them including self checkout. TERRIBLE!! But having perseverance paid off today because there was a very kind and generous man who introduced himself as Mark paid for our items as well asthe other seven customers ahead of us. Thats who get the five stars.
Walmart Supercenter on Altama Connector is my home store. I was embarrassed today when I took visiting out of town friends in to shop. Honestly, I have never seen any Walmart in such horrible condition. Where in the world is the manager/assistant manager? I was so shocked at the horrid condition, I didnt even think about taking pictures. As we entered, there was garbage ie: soiled napkins and tissues, broken plastic hangers, candy wrappers, candy and dirt in general throughout the entry. The shopping carts were in need of replenishing as there were less than 25 left, most of which had trash in them. Unfortunately, this was indicative of the condition of the entire store. There were food items on the floor, candy stepped on and smashed into the floor and what remaining stock on shelves was in total disarray. In the 10 plus years Ive shopped here, Ive not seen such a disgrace in our town Walmart. We have folks from all over the world come here for vacation and often, YOU Walmart, is the first stop and first impression visitors have of Brunswick, Georgia. I care about what visitors think of Brunswick. We have a great community and are about to be thrown onto the worlds stage. Please Walmart Brunswick, do better and clean up your act. You should be better than what we saw today.Brunswick is better than this kind of first impression.
Customer Service is so bad that I just decided that I would rather spend my money with a company that appericates your business, even if it costs me more. When I asked Melody in the Electronics for assistance she rolled her eyes at me and said I dont have a key and turned around and started to scan items on a shelf. When I made my decision to notThey dont even deserve a star. Ill be making a formal complaint with the corporate office also.I recommend Target instead, I had at least 6 employees on the floor offer their services to help with my purchases and a cashier saw me in line and walked 6 lanes over to get me for checkout afterwards.
This round it was hard to find someone to help you, their not to friendly they act like they are doing you a big favor if they spoken to then when they are in a cluster an you interrupt then from there conversation personal business , now they all dont do that there are a few that has awesome attitude with friendly outlook that makes you feel better. when all your scan check out is so full not funny and I dont care to use them I want a real cashier well there goes another problem open up at 4 plus cashiers that can check people out again not everyone want self check out , your ladies who over sees the working employees up front is another joke here again you know there personal business watching their cell phones. This is not only issue but in all your Walmart stores. stores
A nice big Walmart, but they close at 12. Still appears to have everything that a normal super Walmart would have, but its not called a super Walmart because of the shorter hours. Also this Walmart has a gas station which is unusual in some parts of the country. Nice, because the prices are much lower per gallon than most of the other local gas stations, and you can pay at the pump, too. Also these gas stations have self serve drinks that you can buy and pay for right at the pump. Cool!
Good place to shop. Very wide variety of items except in the electronics department. I went in a few times looking for a new phone and all they had were cheap flip phones. There are no signs up or anything saying that theyre out of stock. And when looking on the app for a phone most of them dont allow store pickup and I cant get it delivered.
I use Walmart pick up in our home state quite often. This was the first time I used it since we were on vacation. I placed my order online on Tuesday (7/6/21) to pick up on Saturday (7/10/21) when we arrived to our destination. I got multiple text that day saying they were having issues with my order and that it would delayed. This was an inconvenience considering we had to drive another 20 mins to our vacation condo. I waited around as long as I could, finally almost two hours of our regular pick up time, it was ready. We then travel back into town to pick up and wait for over an entire HOUR to have it brought out to us.Needless to say, we are regular vacationers in the area and I will never use your service again. Not worth my time or money if I’m honest. I get that some places are currently short staffed, I can forgive the part of my order being delayed, however to wait as long as we did to have it brought out, as other cars came and went was not acceptable.
The worst Walmart I have ever been to. They are out of everything all the time. If you go within an hour of closing the line to the self checkout, which is all thats open, is all they way to the back of the store. I have NEVER went in there and asked for assistance and gotten any, the associates arent the smartest in the world. Go to the Neighborhood Market Walmart if you absolutely have to go.
I went to pick up my medicine and it came out to $.31 and the lady said she wouldnt charge my card because the amount was so small, she had $.31 to put in the register. I thought that was very nice of her. I still have her the money for her register but that was a awesome act of kindness she didnt have to do!
Not a fan of Walmart to begin with for many reasons, some of them not the chains fault. But as far as they go, this one is down on my list of stores I have been to. Store is not well maintained, items usually not stocked well, always have to go though several carts to find one that actually feels like it has wheels that work. Occasionally find a staff member that seems like they at least want to help. With that said, it is Walmart. Always busy, allot of times the only choice.
Awful today. Found what I went after but the checkout lines were terrible. Self checkouts were all the way around past the vegetable section. The few registers that were open, the lines were extending into the clothing sections. I was in line approximately 45 minutes for 6 items.I still hate this store. I refuse to do self checkout...I dont work there.
The lady at the bakery I forgot what her name was but she was wonderful it was my birthday and she went out of her way to make my little chocolate cakes with vanilla icing and she was not in a good mood but she treated me with such respect and caringI dont know what was going on but she didnt feel like smiling but you could tell that she had a wonderful cuz she didnt have to go out of her way for me but she did and I think therefore it and told
Absolutely terrible wait times are normal here and I have never complained. HOWEVER, having fractured my ankle and requesting a mobile cart the “greeters” could not be bothered that 1 sent me down to the other end of the store and that breeder sent me out to the parking lot to look for a mobile scooter in handicap spaces on my own! When I explained my understanding is that with the staff was there to do he told me that they were short staffed. I’ve been proceeded to customer service to speak to a manager of him cannot be bothered to come out of his office and actually giggled with the associate that went back to tell him there was someone who wanted to speak with him. This Walmart needs a major makeover manager early and staff wise! I can only hope that this critique warrants a national executive to reply!
I needed to get a new cell to replace the one that had been water damaged. The associate was extremely rude and very unweloming. Too busy talking to coworkers and her finger nails, while chomping her gum. I was finally able to get my phone replaced, with her annoyance.Im handicapped and I dont want special attention I think everyone should practice Guest First Service!
I have been calling for 3 days every hour on the hour until I went into the store. No one will answer the phone. As I was in the store I stood in front of customer service, no line at all while two employees set there and chit chat as the phone rang nonstop until the person on the other end finally hung up. Most of the workers are lazy there is a few that will work but it’s rare.
The store was dirty and unkept. I asked for assistance at customer service regarding my pick up order and they said customer service was closed. I had received a message on the way to pick up my order saying it wouldn’t be available until the next day and I wasn’t going to be available to pick it up the next day. I waited 20 minutes to speak with a manager in the store and the manager never came. I had to call the customer service over the phone to cancel my order. My card already had a hold and I didn’t receive any type of statement showing it had been credited. I would not recommend this store.
They never have enough of workers and they never keep the same schedule sometimes their customer service will close at 7:00 7:30 sometimes it stays open till 10:00 and about 40% of the workers have poor customer service skills but other than that its okay their store looks nice their shelves are usually stocked nicely its easy to find things that you need
Would leave no stars if that was an option. I have been waiting in the pickup for well over an hours and placed my order 5 hours ago it’s is two items TWO I cannot even check in because nobody will answer the phone. I tried to use the pick up inside and it says it’s not ready yet I waited until the time it said to come and pick up my order and it isn’t ready I don’t understand how this is even possible I understand being busy but the order was placed 5 hours ago !!
Well stocked, fairly clean. NEVER ENOUGH CASHIERS. Handicapped customers, including myself do not have enough parking spaces. Cannot use SelfCheckout easily. Only shop here for certain items. Publix is much more accommodating to Genuine Handicapped Customers. There are more Handicapped People now then there ever was before. There will be thousands as a result of the Covid. Lets see what WALMART DOES ABOUT THIS.!!!!!??
For the most part the Walmart in Jesup is a great store however management needs to tell the workers that the customers pay their checks oh, and it would probably be amazing if they would not walk three or four why down the aisles and expect the customers to move out of their way...
Not much of a line to wait in anymore to get inside (depending on what day you go on). A face mask is required though. Toilet paper is back in stock, some disinfectants are still difficult to find but Wal-Mart has tried to stay stocked with their version of those items & something is better than nothing. Ive been able to get what I need for my family (for the most part) so I cant complain. Thank you to everyone who works at these places & drives the trucks for these places that keep the shelves stocked & helps to keep all of our lives moving forward.
With it being school time they need more registers open then lines for self check out was all the down the grocery isles the garden center register closed at 6pm and the person running it had the customer stopping anyone else that tried to git in the line was very unprofessional took hour and haft to git out of the store for only 4 items and this has been coming commend at this store
Worst Walmart I have Ever been in. Employees were busy chatting with each other. If u ask a question they would point over in some direction which was never right. Outside trash cans overrunning, disinfect wipes dried up, no hand sanitizer, I mentioned this & they said we spray buggies so u dont need any. No one wanted to be bothered. I have Never witnessed anything like it. As u came in girl was sitting on a stool looking at her phone. I saw this though out the store.
Not enough registers open. When asked why the self serve wasnt set up to take cash, their excuse was that they didnt have enough cashiers. I said, well put the managers on a register. One CSM (the ones in the yellow vests) was openly complaining about how much she had to do. Unprofessional to say the least, especially considering the regular cashiers were frazzled and stressed due to lack of help from management. Miss Thang, the CSM, seemed less upset by the number of disgruntled customers and more worried about how she couldnt be bothered to end her non work related conversation with another CSM. That being said, the rank and file employees are great! They helped us find exactly what we needed, and got right back to work. THEY were professional and displayed a proper work ethic. Miss Thang needs to go.
I try not to do business with this Walmart due to poor customer service and horrible product selection but tonight took the cake. Aint gonna lie, I tried to go in 8 minutes before closing (@11), but I had to pick up a roll of tin foil the night before Thanksgiving. The staff wouldnt let me in, I tell them Im after one thing but they told me too bad they are closed. Not only did I have enough time to walk in that store and buy tin foil, I had enough time to sit in the parking lot for literally a minute and make sure they were turning other people away too, get in my truck, drive a mile down the road to target (like everyone else should do), talk to the guy at the door there, run in and grab my tin foil, pay for it, and make it OUT THE DOOR BY CLOSING AT 11!!! This is the reason I will pay two or three times the price for a product just so Im not doing business with this store and tonight just reinforced that decision.
I needed some items for my business, and the associate that I encountered was very helpful. He checked their stockroom on three different occasions to see if the items that I needed were there! Mind you, he was the one who offered to look and also did it with a smile on his face!
Rave...I’m not a huge chain store fan, but I need to give props to the one next to Nalley. To the girl at the 3rd register with braid in your hair, thank you. You graciously helped me find an alternative when my brand of choice ran out. Just refreshing to see people who appear to take pride in what they do. That store has always had great service, which can be a rare occurrence at times.
We were passing through on Route 95 late in the day and had tire problems on our travel trailer. I knew they were older and needed to be changed but thought they had one more trip left. One popped and I used the spare. Upon checking I found the steel belts sticking out of another. We called everywhere at 4 pm and Thomas in Walmart Tire Dept in Brunswick Ga. was the only one that would help us. He was outstanding and made sure we got 2 of the correct tires mounted and ready to go. He was excellent and I offered him a $20 tip that he refused. I highly recommend you see Thomas for all your tire needs.
If I could give no stars I would. Ive currently been waiting going on 2 hours for my pickup order that was supposed to be ready at 5. Other people past my times have gotten their orders and I have called twice and all they tell me is your order is ready yet and they are still picking two items and cant tell me how much longer until its ready. Will update on how long I had to wait.
I must praise them and thank them for helping me out on my last visit. I love wally world. So I went in a few days ago to pick my son up a Birthday present, and it was early in the morning. I got to the counter at the self checkout and I took the money that I needed out of the Bank envelope that I had just gotten from the Bank, I thought that I put it in my purse, but I had somehow missed the purse and had lost it. I didnt realize this until 2hrs later when I got home, and looked in my purse. I tried to call walmart, but I couldnt get anyone to pickup. So I drove back and asked the checkout cashier if anyone turned in any money. She said no.So I asked a manager and he went to the customer service desk and sthe girl said no, so I turned to leave the store, but I stopped and asked the door greeter if anyone found some money, and he said Yes. I turned it in at Customer service. So I went back to the desk and the manager asked me what kind of Bank envelope and I told him, and he gave it to me. I was very happy, because I had hundreds of dollar that envelope and all my money was there. So thanks to the Employees at this store for their good morales.I am so thankful .
A shift manager/employee, wasnt very helpful. I tried asking a couple of simple questions, as she only kept saying, she didnt know ANYthing, & walked off, than once. Other than that, I was able to find a few of the items that I was looking for... That wont stop me from shopping at Wally-World!
They need to keep the motorized cars charged and get the ones broken fixed. Please put more cashiers on its crazy to have to wait in the self service lines for such a long time. To me the service has gone down since you installed this new systems. Especially when you need to ask ? On how much something cost and then you need someone to take it off the bill cause you decide not to get it. Hire more people this has nothing to do with covid you guys been doing this way before the panadmic. Its a shame to if Publix sold clothes I would do all my shopping there.
I mean, what is not to like in a store where you want get stuff for a reasonable dollar?:) However, I went there this time to find last minute early morning computer monitor. The selection was ok for size but the store didnt have matching cable. Or,maybe they did but the associate sent to assist in the department (granted, likely was sent to throw a body in at 7am) was completely unknowledgeable as to anything computer.
Like going to be Walmart wear you buy the different items we all like such as pretty things or stuff to work with or have a good time with or something like electronics but you look and its my favorite foods I like or food I want to try or rite back to numbers summer treats its all there
It took me 3 times going to the customer service counter, with a total of 7 different employees who didnt help me, yelled across a few aisles asking for help to get any help from anyone. A total of around 4 or 5 other customers arrived, waited and left without getting any help in the gardening department because there was no response. This went on for 40 minutes. Only to FINALLY be helped and them just saying looks like we are out but we have other options on the OTHER side of the store, someone couldnt have said anything BEFORE I was waiting for 40 minutes?!?! thats BS.
I should say this store is way too busy all the time and you can see all kinds of crazy characters .. I should also say that there is no such thing as customer service no one even tries to help the only one that I can say is truly helpful at the store is the lady at the door her name is Rosa I think she is a greeter and is very nice.... oh and you can find anything you need at a reasonable price but as far as customer service cuz you might not be so lucky
Wal-Mart Vision Centers staff was amazing! Professional, friendly and the measures they took for cleaning sanitizing and social distancing was 5 star!!! The doctor was so thorough and explained everything to great extent. ❤️ First time at the Brunswick location and would highly recommend.
In late February I purchased an item before we left town for eight months. I taped the receipt to the box. I tried to return the item and because of a new policy limiting returns to 90 days I couldnt return it. I asked if I could get a store credit and was denied. I said, so if I didnt have a receipt you would give me a store credit. She replied, yes. What type of crazy is Walmart when you are punished for having a receipt?
Never enough registers or associates to assist customers at jewelry for example and having forbid call and customer service on the phone either they dont answer or theyre rude and disrespectful with a sarcastic attitude I rate a 2.0 WALMART UP YOUR GAME...And both Murphy gas stations prices are different the neighborhood market across from Big lots is way cheaper for gas and sometimes cigarettes.

2022-03-08Roberta is and excellent sales associate for Walmart. Roberta is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. She has helped me the last three times I shopped at Walmart. Out of five people she was the only person that knew where clearance was located. On a different day, Roberta was the only one that knew the prices of the lotions after asking other sales associates. Roberta is very knowledgeable of the company policies of the items being marketed and also respects the customers. I asked her why are you so nice to people The other associates are not like you and she responded by saying thats the way she was trained. Thank you Roberta for being you. It makes it nice to shop at Walmart when you know that theres truly a good person there to help.

2022-05-20I did pick up. The man who brought my groceries was very polite. Asked about bread being up front. He said thank you. Have a great day. I cant remember his name. Please try and find out. With no one wanting to work and it was raining to, he deserves a raise.

2022-06-14This is one of the BEST independent restaurants in Brunswick Georgia. They know how to cook good ole SOUL-FOOD. And let me bless your life with THIS suggestion. Go there for breakfast and ask for the salmon croquettes and eggs and grits. It will change your LIFE!!!!!! I dont know why the app posted a review for Walmart. I was referring to an independent restaurant in Brunswick Ga.

2022-04-05I hate this Walmart. The customer service is closed more often than not and the lady behind the desk is rude to not only customers but other staff too and takes her time talking in between scanning and typing turning a 2 min transaction into 10. Ill update with the name when I unfortunately have to go back. Self check out people are very inattentive. Several greeters have never said a word when entering and many stockers leave carts in the middle of isles and fail to move them when customers need through. God forbid you ask one of them something bc they will then complain about having to help if they dont ignore you. Not to mention I have never been somewhere where so many people park on or over the line or in disabled parking when it is not displayed.

So on this daySo on this day WalmartSo on this day Walmart in Brunswick GA lost about $650. I called twice. 3first call it rang and rang for about 7 minutes then when it redirected me to the front they hung up on me. The 2nd call they just put me on hold FOR 15 MINUTES! So! I will take my money elsewhere. The times are NOT an exaggeration I have screenshots Walmart corporation is going to receive.

2022-05-26I like to use the app to find the location of items. But it said this location was under construction, so I couldn’t find what I was looking for. Working with staff, I found the location eventually. But even though the app said it was in stock, it wasn’t. This may be a more broad Walmart issue, it still effected this location detrimentally.
