Walmart Supercenter in other cities:
This location is never stocked. I always have to scan my own items which I hate. If I want a job a Walmart I would apply. The best time to go is early in the morning when they are semi stocked. Don’t try to memorize where things are because they always switch the aisles up. I only shopped this location because it’s the closest to my house. I was there this morning & a rat ran across the aisle so that was definitely my last & final visit.
Okay so this is two reviews in one. I wouldve given this store 5 stars but my shopping experience was clouded by an aggressive door greeter/receipt checker 😒So Ill start with the initial 5 star experience. I came to this walmart specifically because I felt they would 1) have what Im looking for and 2) I would get great customer service. Which I initially did because Phillip in electronics is freaking AMAZING. I really needed to figure out how/why my phone wasnt charging and buy the right cord and/or wall plug. Phillip not only directed me to the correct items I needed, he helped me with seeing if they would actually work for my phone AND walked me to customer service. Give the man a raise because he is probably the only reason I would ever consider coming back to this store. Now, Phillip was amazing as well as the other workers here..until I was leaving the store. This was around 9:30 this morning (6/24).I was leaving and I also had ONE bag, in my cart with two food items in it. A short causcaian lady with grey hair approached me like she was a cop and pressed me for my receipt. Her demeanor was very..unnecessary.She was a little too persistent and was basically leaning over my cart. At that point I panicked a little because I remembered that my receipt was on my phone because I used walmart pay. I know wearing a mask is optional but she was a little too close to not have a mask on. She was all over me. When I showed her the receipt on the phone, she proceeded to try and touch my screen at which point I stopped her. This interaction also got the attention of another worker who proceeded to look at her and what she was doing. Before I left she made the excuse that she basically has to do her job and to make sure I have my receipt ready. 🙄 I left there feeling like I was patted down and violated, not gonna lie. Youre a receipt checker, but most importantly, a door greeter. Not a TSA agent or a cop. Please train her on how to deal with customers appropriately.👎🏾
For the most part I like this Walmart in comparison to other Atlanta Walmarts. The upper parking lot can be super packed. The lower parking lot has a lot of space. There are nice employees and rude ones too. Tonight I had my first demoralizing experience here. I dont know why Walmart produces those experiences when Ive never had a similar experience at a Target (for instance), but this Walmart is no exception to the overall Walmart experience. To avoid my experience today, here is my warning and recommendation. They are charging higher prices than labeled on the shelves and they cant or wont update the price for you at the register, even with a picture. I had always heard that stores had to legally honor posted prices but that might not be correct. Regardless, during this period of high inflation I would recommend taking pictures of all prices, checking out like normal (dont even bother asking the cashier for help because they either cant or wont) and then go to customer services to get help with the prices. The customer service guy tonight was super friendly and made up for my earlier experience. Overall its a pretty good Walmart location.Edit: the price increase on the item I bought three of today was almost 30 cents, or 4% of the posted price. Its not a lot by itself but it adds up over multiple products and multiple purchases.
I don’t know what kind of staff they hire but they are the worst employees and the manager is the worst of them all. We came there two times and twice no one helped NOT EVEN THE MANAGER!! Poor customer services. I will be calling corporate and I will make sure I will report everything and ever staff that did not help and the MANAGER NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!!!!! Worst don’t go to any Walmart better to go to Costco they are actually trained proper and so is management staff. This Walmart is ghetto and lazy!!!!!!!!! I will take this to the top!!!!!! Unexpectedly!!! Management and staff must be retrained or FIRED!!!!! You all need to hire educated staff!!!!!
I would not bother wasting your time coming to this walmart. I would wait at least at least another week. This place is so scattered everywhere. It look like hurricane Katrina came through here. Nothing is in his place and theyre moving the entire store around. Trust me save your time and dont come here.
All I wanted was some teeth whitening strips which were in a lock box. There was no one around so I proceeded to ask the lady at self check out and she directs me to customer service. The customer service rep who was playing around on a buggie says she would send someone my way. No one came. I proceeded to ask someone else and they said someone would come and no one ever came. I should not have to walk around the entire Walmart for teeth whitening strips. Then I proceed to tell the girl at the self check out what happened and she says “wow, that’s crazy” not let me try to find/call someone for you. Service is piss poor.
Elevators are always broken. Shopping carts get stuck at the back of the parking lot... their wheels lock up. Usually not well stocked. Customer service (returns) closes at 9pm... added 1 star though for the manager lady who actually let me return my oversize items that I struggled with in 90º+ heat to even get INTO the store at 9:05pm. You the real MVP. Everyone else is like, gfy
This is literally the worst Walmart in the history of forever. If you want a cart, to, you know, cart your goods around the store, be sure to bring one in from the world’s most chaotic parking lot, as it seems all the employees in charge of that task have decided not to work here anymore (good for them!). Good luck, however, finding one that hasn’t had its proximity sensor tripped upon making it ten feet from the door, rendering it an immovable object. Once inside the store, you will need more good luck if you have any hope of finding anything anywhere you might think to find it - the bacon is nowhere to be found amongst the other meat products (special hint: check the dairy cooler!!!), and the Drano is in an aisle between the juice and cracker aisles, cause that makes all the sense. If you are able to then maneuver your way around the ceaseless staging and stocking operation of literally 50 foot long walls of pallets (fire hazard much?), you will be greeted at the self checkout area, where approximately 40% of the stations are functional, by the one guy not getting paid enough to fix all of the inevitable scanning errors (it rang up one of our items 6 times!). After that you may be lucky enough to experience the one part of the experience making it tolerable that I can’t give less than 1 star - the genuinely pleasant greeter checking receipts that is seemingly oblivious to all the carnage happening around him. Hats off to you Mr. Greeter Man, I don’t know how you do it.
OMG, customer service is getting terrible. I used to love coming to this walmart and now I will try to avoid coming here. Dont order for curbside because people who arent picking up park there so theres never a way to park for curbside. They NEVER have anything I order online actually in the store. They wont substitute, theyll completely cancel the item even if its in stock. They give you attitude if you dare ask anyone here a question. The past 3 times Ive gone there its always something new. You should be ashamed of this location. Hire people who are actually willing to do the job they were hired to do.
Just left this location 10 mins ago. I bought some household items then proceeded to the grocery section of the store. As I approached the isles I see the Biggest Rat 🐀 I have ever seen in my life. One the stockers seen Ratatouille as well and tried to chase him to the back. I told the manager on shift and she stated they were aware of the problem. I don’t think it’s safe to shop here with the current rodent infestation.
Stood at the counter waiting for help for 15 minutes, rang for assistance, nobody came until I asked my son to bounce a basketball then he was approached by an employee asking him to stop lol, if you want help at Walmart just play with their balls nobody is going to have fun at this store hehe 😆🤣🤣😂
We are from different country and talking about Walmart , Our first purchase from here was some clothes and ever since, we love going to this place, huge range of different products..we have bought many toys for my daughter .You get everything..from fresh fruits to veggies, clothes, toys , furniture..etc..adding some pictures dat might help 😇😊i
This is a very nice Walmart, possibly the best one Ive ever been in. Its very spacious, not ever too crowded, and it has a large selection of items. One problem is that the buggies have some sort of wheel locking anti theft mechanical, so if you park in the back of the parking lot, your buggy will stop violently right as youre about to reach your car, and then even if you drag it back into the correct area, it still wont reset and go back to working.
Phillip and Deirdre in electronics are definitely the GOATS. They turned my nightmare into a pleasant reality. I lost my cellphone this morning and they went over and beyond to assist me. I cannot work and earn a living without my cell phone. I prayed the whole trip there that I would be helped with someone courteous and friendly. I got more than that. They are two angels in my eyes and I will never forget their kindness. If management is looking at the reviews these two workers deserve a major raise. I will be calling the store later this week to talk to a manager personally to make sure the word gets out about how Deidra and Philip went over and beyond for me thank you so much Deidre and Phillip I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart.
Rude people work here specifically the lady at the customer service counter by the name of Chrystal. I was returning a gift that stopped working after 2 weeks. She would not allow the return without the gift receipt and was very rude about it. I understand policy but theres a way to talk to people.
The Walmart by my house never has anything so I drove 20mins to this one. They do have more than the one by my house. I came specifically for scrubs (I’m a healthcare worker) waited by the changing rooms for about 15mins. Their were FOUR workers standing literally right in the dressing room doorway. I asked about 5 times for a room. And they all stood there looking dumbfounded, one told me to wait. Finally after about 5 more minutes one says I’ll go see where she is. And walks away, comes back and says the lady is on break. And I replied you can’t get the key for the rooms from her? No manager has a key to the fitting rooms? She says can you come back later… I just walked away to avoid saying anything rude. I waited for 15mins while FOUR workers ignored me. Then one finally acknowledges me just to tell me to come back. I’m just confused only 1 person has keys to the fitting rooms? Before going on break the keys isn’t handed off to another coworker, to assure guests are being helped? The entire situation was annoying. Employees need to do better to help customers.
I live about 30 minutes from here and I honestly prefer this walmart location even though I have one by my home. Always well-stocked and not too busy in the mornings! The door greeter guy and Andrea, the manager I believe are very accommodating to my service dog when one pet almost attacked us. I love how the employees are making sure every time if mines is a service dog which is perfectly fine to ask by ADA Law.april 9, 2022 update: door greeter burley (unsure of name) was very rude to me and my service dog as we were training in the front, had the audacity to let in a previous pet dog again that had almost attacked my service dog. i don’t mean to be a karen about this but my service dog took LOTS OF years to train, LOTS of money spent as well. i spoke with the manager andrea and she seemed somewhat understanding this time. walmart staff needs to be knowledgeable on the ada laws and take service dogs seriously!
Ive come to this walmart for years and have not had a single problem. Its not till the Door guy named Damien was hired. Multiple times while on visits he has harrased me. He always seems to profile me based on my middle eastern look. For simple buys as well meanwhile people getting tvs and consoles slide ride past him. Yesterday was the last straw. as i was leaving he made a big deal over an exchange and wasted my time. I missed not only appointment for my daught but now i have to wait a month to book again. I hope something is done to this gentleman regarding termination. I used to love coming here but if this guy isnt fired im afraid not only will you lose me , but more people being harassed by this guy.
They close early. I hate places that closes before their time. I rushed to get there and made it at 10:53, the doors were locked. They had to unlock door for customers to get out but wouldnt let any in. This really sucks! I wish you would pist the actual time you close and honor it.
The parking lot is a bit scary for some reason. I often park under the store because the upstairs parking lot is either boiling hot or crazy busy and crowded, but it always creeps me out, even though nothing bad has ever happened. The escalators to the lower parking garage are always broken, particularly the ones for carts. You have to take the elevator and 1 is always out of order. The exterior of this store is very dirty and in disrepair.
I used to live out in Doraville and this used to be the Walmart we went to. We used to always hate doing here because the lines we always long and so it takes so long to get out. Lucky for me, the last time I went I found 3 suits on clearance for my son so he can grow into them and I was able to go to the self check out even though the line there was long too.
LITERALLY worst managed store I have ever been to!!!I avoid shopping at Walmart to begin with, but I was forced to because there was no store near the house where I am dog sitting. They close at midnight, which is outrageous for Walmart. But the worst part was how few registers they had open. One lady I spoke with had been waiting for almost an hour. This was not a peak night and they should have had the self checkout lanes open. The shelves in the store were also catastrophically bare. I’ve worked in retail long enough to know this kind of carelessness has little to do with staff.
It was hard locating parking I had to take three trips around the parking lot. I found a spot. I went in and purchased my two items. Self check out was quick. This location is Awesome there are so many new apartments d this area has grown in such a great time. Im impressed with the service your store is providing to this community. Keep up the great work 👍
Absolutely unacceptable that they have not one checkout lane open, only self checkout. Lady in front of me had a baby in her arms and had to do all her checkout one handed. She almost dropped her baby because she was wrestling with her idems and fishing for her cash...There should always be employee manned check out.
Don’t bother ordering online pickup for this location. They allow shoppers to park and enter the store in the PICKUP parking spaces then have the nerve to come and tell you where you can’t park while waiting on your order. This is the 3rd time I’ve been here and had this issue. Cancelling my order.
It’s bad customer to call a Walmart asking if something is in stock and for the customer service associate to tell you that they don’t know? It makes you not want to come in the store at all because if the Customer service is poor over the phone, once in store customer service is going to be even worse smh. You should never tell a customer that you dont know if something is in stock and hang up. I see why this Walmart has. 3.4 rating smh
This Walmart has to be the most unorganized, understaffed. Under helped Walmart I’ve ever been to . And the only reason I’m writing a review is because I live in a beautiful neighborhood with a Walmart that is Inconvenient. why even hire staff who either (A) are around just to be around (b) not be helpful . Literally every time I come to this Walmart it’s busy which isn’t out of the ordinary but having one register open is . All self check outs are either not working or it only accepts card . But by the time u realize that you’ve waited 30 mins in line already to just get out of line to wait another 30 mins for a register that MIGHT take cash or MIGHT possibly work . . Over it . Where is the management team ?
5/27/22This store has gone from bad to worse.Today I must have spent an hour in check out. I first did self-checkout and got an error but the employee who tried to help me could not figure it out. After going through checkout 3 more times with various employees, including through customer service they couldnt figure out the issue. Finally one employee said BOOKS were the issue and once I got that voided, then I finally could check out.But of course my cart got stuck on the escalator and I had to wait for an employee to pull my bags off the cart. And I hurt my foot running up the downscalator to try to save my cart.I dont think Ill be going back to this store again. Here is my review 4 years ago which is all still very true.1. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. I get that they dont make a great wage but they have zero pride in their work. My final experience at checkout is usually bad. If Ive ever complained to the manager, they were unsympathetic.2. The cart escalators are very often broken, on both sides. The elevators stink. Ive been left with a great dilemma of how to get my huge cart of dog food down to my car in the underground parking.3. Restocking is a joke. The art and craft area very often has huge blank areas. Why have this area if they are never going to maintain it?Yes, their prices are cheap, and yes their employees dont make great wages, but these are all really basic issues of running a business. They put a lot of effort into seasonal displays of merchandise but ignore the basics.
I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was obscenely crowded. Children were running around unattended, as if the store was their own personal playground. Many of the home goods aisles were out of inventory. I went there for large storage bins with lids and was out of luck. There was a lot of damaged merchandise on the shelves... does anyone in quality control check for damaged items? Who wants to buy a storage bin with multiple cracks and holes where the plastic shattered and fell out?For as crowded as the store was, I was shocked to see that only three checkout lanes were open. All of the self-checkout lanes were open, however, I find self-checkout convenient for people who are picking up a handful of items, not for a weeks worth of grocery shopping.Store appeared clean. Floor associates dont say hello/acknowledge customers. Parking SUCKS.
Waited 25 mins for billing. Changed the counter because there were no assistance for the problems that the users were facing made long wait. Cost cutting is good but over cost cutting is the result of no human at the counters and made complete mess when there are more customers than its capacity. Machine does not understand that it has to work faster. It depends on how fast customers are operating the machine.
Went in to pick up my online order, the place was pretty crowded but it was Sunday afternoon so thats to be expected. Their pickup process is super easy and quick. The guy that handed me my pickup order was so kind and polite, even gave me some free samples in this cute reusable Walmart tote. Would 100% recommend their pickup in store option. 👌🏻
I will start with the positive. Very nice, sweet, polite young lady working the south end self checkout area around 5pm on Tues. 6/23. Also, pharmacy employees are also very polite. Now-Why 1 star? 20 checkout lanes. Only one open and that was the express lane! What is someone supposed to do if they buy 100 items? I refuse to self checkout if I am not given a discount for doing so. I go to humans to try to save jobs and avoid having all of us replaced by robots. Why is this store too cheap to hire enough cashiers? Perhaps trying to preserve the wealth of the richest family in America? I am tired of hearing businesses complain they cant find any workers. Pay $25 an hour, not slave wages, and you will have all you need. Or, hire the homeless. Pay them and house them. There is enough homeless in Atlanta to staff all the WalMarts in the state of Georgia! Or sponsor the residents in your city-many of whom would love to be able to work legally.
Phillip in the electronic section is amazing! I have a huge tv and been trying to find a full motion tv mount for days. There was none on the shelves and he was very patient with me and took his time to find the exact one I wanted quickly and efficiently. I just had to leave a good review because I was so thankful for his help!!
For the most part shopping here is pleasant & I find everything I need. But the downside is that there never seems to be any cashier lanes open, just self-service kiosk, which makes it difficult with a basket full of groceries on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Also sadly, sometimes I’ve seen a homeless population hanging around outside the front of the store & occasionally I’ve seen some inside with a shopping cart full of their possessions! Security needs to be stepped up here in regards to this.
Walmart is Walmart congested and full of people from all walks of life . Most are Rude and in a hurry . The employees act like they resent you asking for help , although sometimes you get a good employee who is nice and helpful. Not often though but it be surprisingly refreshing.
Well starting with the pros, almost clean and organized, shelves are restocked regularly, they have several self checkout counters, ample parkingThe cons: very very poor to non existant customer service, nobody knows anything, God help if you have to figure out the price of an item which doesnt have a tag, clearance aisle is again non existent compared to some nice deals in other walmarts. This walmart is good if you know what you want and need zero help from anybody there, self checkout and leave. If you have a pick up, photos to print, or have to deal with customer service, you are better off banging your head on the wall. Except few people in the store who I can count on my fingers, nobody else has any clue what they are doing.
The Chamblee Super Walmart is great! This Walmart location has been focused on keeping inventory stocked through COVID and beyond! The Chamblee Walmart is also one of the first to have seasonal items displayed and rotated and located prominently near the front of the Chamblee Walmart for easy access! Respectfully: Alton K Edwards
If there was a star less than one. Id give it to this store. I am sick and tired of a employee demanding to see my reciept. Being told that its store policy. Walmart is accusing people of Being thieves with their over reach. Once I pay for my items. Its my property and I dont have to prove that I didnt steal whats in my bags. Because of this policy I am going to take my business to a store chain that doesnt accuse customers of being a thief. Sam Walton would be ashamed of what Walmart has become.
Needed an item from the top shelf. Associates told me to go to customer service. Customer service told me that the people to do the job must be “on break.” But he didn’t check to see. In the end, I had to get myself a stool to get the items I needed; with heels on! I wasn’t the only customer in that isle that needed an item from the top.
This was the worst experience! From the parking, hardly any, to the terrible customer service. The workers I experienced were rude and dismissive. It was my first visit here. I was hoping for a little better pricing and selection for Walmart, but this was not the case. So I grabbed a couple items so it was not a wasted stop, but I should have just left. The terrible customer service I got at checkout sealed it for me. I will never go back. I know true customer service is becoming a thing of the past, but I will not give my money to a company that doesnt at least try to give at least neutral service
The customer service definitely needs work. I scanned an item with the Walmart app and it rand $58.85, at the register it rang for $73.00. The associate and team lead Joel , told me that I would have to order it online and come back to pick it up. He also stated the best he could do is give me a 10% discount if I bought it now.Called the customer service line and was told the Walmart associate was incorrect and he should have matched the price since the item was sold and distributed by Walmart.Associates need to be made aware of the policies and procedures to avoid customer complaints. This is the 2nd time I have ran into this problem (two separate locations). Definitely need to train the team leads better.
Some Walmarts are nicer than others. I usually find everything Im looking for. I just wish the employees would cover their nose and mouth with their masks. They announce about keeping everyone safe, how is that when the people who work there dont adhere to safety guidelines???
First time since March 2020. Some things were completely changed. Home goods has moved more to front. Not sure where cosmetics moved. I picked the right aisle and found what I needed. Usually wander through the store but not comfortable yet with so many people w/o masks or masks worn incorrectly.
STARTING POSITIVE. The stock could be improved in the skincare. The staff could be improved on the older people side. 2 teenagers were good(middle eastern lady and white guy both around 17)! This lady working on self checkout was rude! So we were buying like 4 items in a hurry and a lady asks us if we can pay cash in the machine as shes next. This worker says with the ugliest look and attitude to match nah ah really yall? Idk what she meant by that but thats unprofessional and low! she sends her to another while !Then theres ALWAYS an OLD TALL WHITE MAN at the front checking receipts at night! He will go out of his way to always stop my mom in a rude SLOW manner ...Hes done this to other females too! I took pity on him first as I saw people talking back BUT no he is just not good. Walmart is alright just those 2 employees are not it!
Ok, totally honest, Im not a typical Walmart shopper, but today I went. It was at checkout where I encountered a rude customer who thought the entire 2 lane checkout was hers and tried to push her way past us once we were in the other lane checking out. Next was the Walmart Greeter who checked the reciept of the black man in front of me, skipped checking the white woman with unseen items, then checked me.So after not shopping Walmart for years, this doesnt make me want to restart to give them my business. They arent responsible their customers per se, but they really need some DEI sensitivity training for employees. If they need it, I know someone.
I stopped at this center this morning and picked up several items. The total amount of the purchase was $6.12. The self check out center machine rejected my Visa credit card several times which forced me to pay in cash. The message on the screen was that there is a problem with my Visa card. I went immediately after this is incident to a Chevron gas station and filled up the tank with the same rejected credit card. I wonder if this Walmart Center or Walmart in general has a policy to reject all credit cards payment with less than a certain amount.
They never really have anything in stock and my main issue is the lil old lady they have checking receipts. She only checks “certain” ppl receipts. I’ve seen her do it countless times. Any time I go there I see her and she does this to me. I went last week and she literally watched me pay at self checkout and I counted 4 ppl walk right out and she waved at them and never checked their receipt. I grab my bags & receipt which she watched me do, then she proceeded to ask for my receipt. I asked her why does she pick & choose who’s receipt she wants to verify & that there were just literally 4 ppl she let walk out rite in front of me. She was speechless. Set up ur retirement plan ppl so that U don’t have to be a bitter old Betty checkin receipts at Walmart. I NEVER have this issue at TARGET!
First of all, plenty parking that’s a plus. The store is not stocked well for it to be as busy as it is. The overstock is on the very top of the shelf that they should just give everyone a ladder and just let them shop from the top shelf. The employees don’t know where anything is when you ask for it. Sad case. ☹️☹️☹️☹️ . Some of employees do not understand how to actually work the registers. I stood in line 15 mins before my items checked out , meanwhile they had about 6 self checkout opened with the card only mode. Then when it was time for me to checkout they changed cashiers and it took her forever to start checking the items. . Also one of my packages was left on the bag turner and I didn’t realize it until I got home. I checked out at around 3:25 pm and got home around 4:00pm and tried calling the store about my package and I’ve tried every option that’s available on the phone line and been calling since 4:00pm but no one is answering in the deli, electronics, customer service concerning orders nor pharmacy. JUST WONDERING DID THE STORE CLOSE DOWN WHEN I LEFT?????? Why aren’t they even answer the phone because I want my package.😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
So I purchased three of those stick on Standa for the cell phone. And I paid cash for them like $30. Well I intended to give them to my friends as little gifts but they all did not like them so Im trying to get my money back or at least a gift card for the matter.. Could I possibly return all of them without my receipt and show myi state ID?
I had saw an offer on Pixel 2 at Ashford Dunwoody center and when enquired with staff they told me to go to Chamblee Tucker center as they dont have option to activate. Today I went to this center and checked with staff and showed the offer pic from Ashford Dunwoody center, staff told me that they dont even have the Pixel there and it might be center specific offer. So they asked me to go to the same center again. I never expected this kind of experience at Walmart. Very disappointing experience. I was waiting for some time to get the chance visit Chamblee Tucker center for the Pixel 2 and never expected this experience. I will never go back. And someone from Walmart reading this, I am a very frequent customer of Walmart and not expecting this from you.
One cashier at check out. Eight people in line. At least five associates wondering around. Tried to call the store while in line, no ome would answer the phone and finally the system hung up on me. Tried to talk to a manager or assistant manager. They were all in a meeting. The associate I did speak to told me to go to self-check out. I told her I didnt work there. She sarcastically thanked me for shopping at Walmart and promptly walked away. I called and talked to someone in corporate. They apologized but that was it. The whole experience was disappointing. Id rather pay more money at a competitor and feel like I was valued.
I have never been to a walmart where most of the people on the floor dont speak english. That didnt bother me as I know enough Spanish to get by.Why should you have to walk all the way to customer service to page someone to help you in another department? Apparently the phones dont work. For workers who arent on the clock, take your vest off so we pesky customers dont bother you and your phone conversation.Customer service desk, I know its Monday but please refrain from the Monday funk. Thats to the one making the announcement that alarms were being tested.Manager, please actually follow up. I know setting up end caps are important but jeez.I will never go back to this location. All I needed was a spray so that I could dye a carpet to its original color after shampooing and all that back and forth took nearly 35 minutes. Id expect this from other cities not here.
Rude cashier associate to a highly buying customer that shop at Walmart everyday.I didnt get her name she embarrassed to the fullest and almost make me cried in publicThe most part of it Im an Walmart associate but I didnt tell her that. That just reminded me how badly our lead and manager treated us.She need to be fired
Although I truly do like this Walmart, but it felt a little chaotic. I witnessed some of the employees huff and puff about having to help people and some others who were clearly annoyed with people walking by them as they were working and unpacking boxes. Employee morale definitely needs to be worked on.
Horrible horrible. Do not shop here. I didnt even get to get what I wanted. They wouldnt take my money. They couldnt decide on who took cash. I had to wait for 30 minutes and then they tried to send me somewhere else. $150 worth of stuff and all I wanted to do was give $150 and ended up leaving because nobody wanted to take cash plus the cashier at the help center was rude and hateful
Selection seems a little less than other Supercenters and I have not seen curbside pickup there. But overall they have what you need, and I love the fact you can park in the garage underneath, so even in 90° weather your car doesnt get scorching hot from parking in the sun.
Walmart carries everything, including furniture polish. A young female employee when I asked where furniture polish was said, do we carry furniture polish? Two employees, 1 Male & 1 Female, sent me to opposite sides of the store. I found the store mgr & he immediately told me where to find it. They had exactly what I was looking for.
Everyone going into the store had a mask on, carts were wiped clean after each use, limited amount of customers were allowed in at a time. Employees were helpful and the store was well stocked. Checkout was somewhat slow with little room to place your items as you check them.
Overall, my shopping experience was good. However, the store was relatively poorly stocked, especially the hard goods areas. The soft goods and grocery areas looked better stocked. Considering the time of year it is, I expected more merchandise on the shelves and more people shopping. I guess the pandemic has really started to affect even Walmart more than I would have thought since so many are jobless. In my view, maybe people are finally realizing the seriousness of this pandemic. In my humble opinion, this is a good thing.
The staff is professional and friendly. The store is clean. I enjoy shopping at this particular Walmart because of the convenience. The only negative I have is parking and getting out to the main road because of the design of the parking lot. Other than that its a great place to shop.
Not my favorite store to go to, they advertise for a lot of artificial flavor foods and unhealthy options, but i do go occasionally because of the prices. One thing that I found very frustrating was the website said that an item was only available in store and out of over 20 items that were supposed to be available in various sizes and colors of one item, not a single one was on the floor. The manager happened to be on the floor and she said that they didnt have any in stock and she hadnt seen any in a while. The customer service number so that they dont update the website numbers but every 24-48 hours and theyre inaccurate. Multimillion dollar company cant keep track of inventory.
The Chamblee Dunwoody Walmart is pretty awful. The selection at this location is poor and the service is absolutely awful. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that their info would be on a receipt if I buy something. If they charge you for an item, they make you wait 6+ hours to notify they dont actually have it. Then they tell you that you have to go to walmart.com to cancel the order because they arent walmart.com. Do yourself a favor and go to the nearby Target., their customer service is significantly better.
Visited this Walmart supercenter. The place is huge. Had to use the money services dept. Was in the customers service line for 20 minutes waiting, then was told that it was next door. My bad I guess. I was able to find what I needed but the checkout lines were long, even the self checkout line was even longer. More waiting, again. This store could use more cashiers. Still a nice place to shop though. Add plenty of time to your visit.
0 Stars. They leave up old sale listings online to get people into the store. We were laughed at by sales associates at the store that said the items were in stock. So dishonest and cruel. Never shopping here again. Id drive an hour or more away to another Walmart just to avoid this store.
Joel (team lead) should not be leading others. Worst customer service!Damien at the front, asked for my receipt, I gave it to him and he begin to ask me are you sure you paid for everything in your bags? I said yes and told him to check! He stopped me from leaving and called someone and finally the guy on the walkie talkie told him I was good. I’ve never got stopped at Walmart before! All my items were rung in by a cashier and everything was in a bag. Never coming back again!
Spacious interior. Cute area. There are at least two parking levels, the first being shared with neighboring stores. Found a cute vaporwave-y shirt! Stay tuned for a photo of the shirt (I dont feel like posting right now, and I already put the shirt away). Some store clerk was watching me intensely during checkout, which made me feel uncomfortable (maybe shoplifting is common in the area). I was making two transactions in order to get two receipts at a register, and the woman thought I had missed what I was saving for the second transaction, but I cleared it up with her.
Located on the Chamblee Rail Trail, this Walmart has tons of adjacent retail and restaurant neighbors. It also has a barber shop and Subway inside. The population of Chamblee includes a 56% Hispanic majority and this Walmarts grocery product reflects the interests of our community. I love the ripe Avocado selection in addition to those that need a few days to be just right. The staff isnt that friendly so if you cant find something you may be out of luck. I once had to order a water filter available in store for pick up because no one could tell me where to find it.Overall it is a regular stop for me after running on the trail and in easy walking distance to thousands of Chamblee residents.
This store is organized and the statf is friendly and professional. The Pharmacy is the best! All are consummate professionals that are quick to assist. I have observed how kind and patient they are with older people and with individuals who may speak English as a second or third language. It is busy, too so timing for shopping when there are less people in store is important. But, for the most part, I can get in and out with my list pretty quick.
Its a Wal-Mart. Found microban spray a week ago so Im grateful for that. My wife does the majority of shopping there and shes found me nice shirts & sweaters there before. Customer service is good but if youre trying to find something that will depend on who you ask.
Its always something...the deli had burnt wedges, would not fix me fresh ones when asked. It was not even 630p yet and i was told they had already stopped cooking.Shelves wiped out on several products. Items stocked on wrong shelves so it was quite confusing as to the actual price. Even had one stocker get an attitude bc i was in his way while i was trying to pull my selection from the shelf.I know that this is a high volumestore, but yall need to do just a little bit better with the staff please.
We found most of the things we needed. The things that we couldnt find were not available, due to seasonality of the items. We also had to pick up an online order. When we went to check on it, it was still processing.Alex was the Superhero in this situation! (Amazing customer service skills!)He looked up the order on his hand-held device, which was not easy because of the way the order was placed.Once he found it, he discovered the problem with the delay. Having to jump through multiple hoops, Alex was able to hand us our order after 15 minutes of severe problem solving. Yes, the delay was irritating, but we realized that the delay was better than having to cancel the order and redo the whole thing.Alex, we thank you, thank you, thank you!The Chamblee store is where Alex works.
It has been taking too long to get through checkout, whether self checkout or not. Yet, workers walking around, appears to be doing very little. All workers should be register trained for such times. If you have cold or frozen items, they become thawed out while you wait in line.
Good people not as well organized as the other one thats nearby but the people are friendly and helpful could probably use a some different management unless its just a strategy of Walmart to have a coin store thats not as well organized as another by now you think they have an institutionalized everywhere anyway have a great day!
Good afternoon everyone happy Sunday so I just wanted to this Walmart with my sister its okay Im at Walmart is Walmart they have good values on good different products but I was looking for a daybed they didnt have any in stock a lot of things look like he was lacking in stock they got Halloween stuff out but if youre going for affordable reasonable prices and just trying to get some things I prefer that you go to Walmart and enjoy yourself I have other things in the plaza a lot of either hes a lot of good places to really clean your pallet of food choices Im so check it out guys save your best life my sisters life
Dont return any online purchases at this store. Most of the employees dont know how to properly process this type of return. They will keep scanning the order barcode until it locks out the return. And they will tell you to mail it back on your own. Part of the deception is thinking the return to store option is a convenient way to return an online purchase. Also, that funky cart conveyor escalator stays broken. OR does it purposely stop working for certain shoppers ?? Its deceptive because it will appear to be working, but as soon as you put your cart on it, it will lock it down. And the deception is they dont have a help button, phone number, nothing. Its set up where you have to walk back into the store, and find a manager. And your purchased items are outside unsecured. Whats bizarre is, an employee will show up already aware of what the problem is. Its just a very bad, dangerous unsafe way to shop. Just prepare for the worst at this location. Trust your gut when shopping at this location. Be very cautious and alert when shopping here.
They always carry the worst produce quality it is always rotten.. this location has plenty of checkout points but they have enough cashiers reason why you have to waist time to checkout because is only couple of cashiers. Yes they do have self checkout points but of course they are slow as well .....
Drove 20 minutes there because their inventory on their site said they had 3 of the special screwdriver I needed at that store. Surprise... There were none. When I asked the guy stocking the shelves if they would be updating their on line inventory to reflect that they didnt have any he told me that would happen next week. Lesson... Dont trust that they have the product even if it says they do on line. 2 stars because the guy was nice.
Today when I came there was no electric carts. Then most of the available carts were wheel locked. Then the pickup kiosk was down. There were no attended lines, only scan n go. Finally I had people coming up wanting to use the checkout while I was still packing my purchases. Great selection of goods, but management leaves much to be desired. At least its better than store on mlk
This Walmart is slightly better maintained than the generic Walmart. Items do take longer to restock compared to other competing retailers. Also Walmart pay? Why? This is the only national retailer not to have adopted the standard tap to pay. It offers nothing more valuable than tap to pay. It’s slower. Requires one more app. Why wouldn’t you put the customer first Walmart?
I have to admit. I don’t like Walmart in general. This one was overcrowded. I went there to pick a toy I ordered online only to be told it is no longer available because of low stock. I ended paying $10 more to buy it from Target. But it was worth not dealing with Walmart customer service or the store.
Its a Walmart what did you expect? I think in order to give a Walmart 5 stars there has to be something unusual different or fantastic about it that sets it above the rest. Otherwise the same wherever you go end this was just like any old Walmart like it is any old day of the week. At least I can say there was nothing wrong.
No dress shirts or dress slacks for Men. They serve lower income families and I guess they think they shouldnt dress professionally. Low income families go to church, dinners, and parties that require them to wear suits and dresses. To have to go outside your community to shop for those items. I know why I dont shop at Walmart.
They had more options than any Wal-Mart I have visited near me. I happened to be in the area and stopped there due to closing times varying. There is a parking garage below it and an escalator just for your buggy to go down there to your car. Good job Wal-Mart! Plus the store was CLEAN, more check out stations open, and friendly staff! Will definitely go back just because it a better Wal-Mart!

2022-02-07This is one of the largest Walmarts in the country. Lower level parking is great for bad weather visits. The store was well stocked and clean. Has just about everything Walmart sells.

2022-05-02The photos speak for themselves. I stood in self checkout for an hour. The store was packed and not enough registers open. People were walking on it leaving items in the isles.

2022-04-05Money center has been closed 2 days in a row. All staff was very rude and unfriendly. No one could tell me why. no one would help me. Hours say 8am-8pm but they were closed before 6pm on 4/4/22 and before 4:30pm on 4/5/22.

2022-04-18We usually love this store. However, For the last 9 months or more they have had very serious issues with stocking items in the correct location on the shelves . I don’t mean supply chain issues. I mean that half a dozen times each shopping trip there are items that are maybe in the right department or section of the grocery aisles, but they are not above the correct price tags. Often times they are not even near the right brand groupings.

2022-06-23Ordered and picked up next day. Excellent app with clear instructions on how to pick up. One item was not available, so the app easily allows free delivery to my home. The store rep did a great job checking that everything in my order was correct. Awesome experience.

2022-04-02The world is truly changing. There are no cashiers here... only self checkout lines. If youre planning on shopping for a cart full of groceries, just be prepared to scan and bag your own food. Not recommended for the elderly.

2022-05-03I went in looking for something thats been out of stock in my hometown Walmarts for more than a month. Got it here... Yea...What? Now Im supposed to just tell you what it was? Youre going to think Im being silly, driving 150 miles to go to a Walmart for my item. Sure that would be silly, I also took my wife to Miss Gogi for some Korean style hibachi food, Asian supermarket or two, Costco in Sandy Springs for frozen pizza, yes it true, Real New York Style frozen cheese pizza from Amnons. Not every Costco carries this pizza. You put whatever toppings you want, for me pepperoni and mushrooms & my better half likes Hawaiian.Anyhow, back to my Walmart item, take an egg & scramble in a small bowl, at the end of cooking your Liptons extra noodle chicken soup (my missing item, extra noodles or not, couldnt find any), just before you take the soup off the heat & still boiling slowly stir in the egg to the soup using a fork to spread the egg while pouring in a circle and making a homemade egg drop soup, yummy. We enjoyed our day together in Atlanta.

2022-03-17Each time I visit your Chamblee, Georgia location (store # 3621) I am charged a higher price at the checkout register than is listed on the item display. Your red Chair Pad item (#004721825987 ) has been displayed on the rack at $5.00 for the longest but when I purchased it a few weeks ago it came up on the register as $6.97. Because there were several people in line behind me, I simply paid the higher price. TODAY when I purchased the EXACT same pillow (which is STILL displayed $5.00) it came up on the register as $7.38. I showed a picture of the display to your associate who informed me they dont do price adjustments at the register anymore.I experienced the same discrepancy with the second item I purchased, a small area rug, item #004721825987 which is displayed at $8.98 but comes up as $22.93 at the register. Although customer service DID charge me only $5.00 for the pillow, he said he could only give me a 10% discount on the rug. This seems to be a very deceptive bait & switch practice given I have experienced this multiple times. I imagine most people (as I did the first few encounters) would simply pay the higher price in the interest of time and not delaying other patrons. I sincerely hope you address this issue immediately to ensure your display and register prices are in sync so that customers are not mislead into thinking theyre getting an item at one price only to be charged a HIGHER price at the register.

2022-05-31Where to even start with this place… For starters, everything feels sticky and dirty. The parking lot is a hot mess but the parking deck feels sketchy and the escalators are gross so nowhere good to park. The actual store is a hot mess. Spilled items everywhere, misplaced inventory, and a really chaotic checkout. I truly hate shopping here and do curbside whenever I can. The clientele also like to hang out outside the front of the store causing congestion with traffic.
