I bought a straight talk phone and tried to install and was told it was not scanned properly. I returned it to a different store and associate assured me that she had scanned it properly,tried to install and got the same problem. Associate told me I could not return the service that I purchased.
Clean, organized, helpful and competent staff.Also it was pretty empty when I stopped in and yet they still had 3 non-self serve cash registers which is rare nowadays but much appreciated.Im a truck driver that stopped in for my groceries and traveling across the nation we go into a ton of Walmart so I can tell you this was a good one!The cashier knew how to proficiently pack up my groceries. (Info in pic) Also no longer typical.Great job running this store guys!!!!
This trip to Walmart was fantastic. I needed help to find some things and Ms.Judy had no problem leaving her pallet jack of product to lead me to the items, 3 aisles over! Then when I was towards check out with my items, I met a sweet and energetic employee named Selina. I asked her where to find an express lane bc all check outs were packed. She opened another register and rang me out. I love a real person at the register any ways!! Super awesome customer service!!!
Busy store, shelves not stocked, pallets randomly left places. And as usual there were 3 registers open and self check out. I dont know why the make the check out experience so horrible, nobody wants to come back when their last experience is bad and the last thing you do is check out. It is always the same thing, long, slow lines to the couple registers that are open. And they cant blame Covid, its been this way for years. Come on Walmart, your the biggest company in the world, fix this.
This place is a freaking joke. Hardly any staff inside while 6 employees in full uniform are out front smoking cigarettes. Ever heard of staggered breaks management? The staff you do get are rude and unhelpful. I asked an associate for help and the response was, “that is not my department.” The aisles are so jammed packed with PALLETS of merchandise needing to be put away. God forbid there is a fire and customers are running to get out of the store. Does corporate ever visit this site? The store manager needs to be held accountable.
I went looking for magnetic alphabet.I asked the young lady in the photo section if they carried any. This young lady literally stopped what she was doing and walked me over to the department to find what I needed. She went out of her way to the point that I HAD to ask her name. THANK YOU Kiyonnia!!! Walmart could really use more employees like you!!!
This Walmart is never stocked up on anything, the shelves are always empty. I never use to be like this….. I’m not sure if they’re not hiring enough people to stock the shelves or what… but if you go across the street to the Ingles they will have everything you need 100% of the time. I’m so disappointed…
I was looking for some foam spray and walked by I believe 4 employees standing there shooting the breeze I continued to look and found a phone on the shelve I handed to a employee didnt say thank you,all he said was its a company phone, and then spoke on the loud side who lost there phone.So to sum it up no foam spray,no thank youWhat is the world coming toSO DISAPPOINTED IN PEOPLEID RATHER JUST TALK TO THE ANIMALS
ALWAYS out of stock of many things. Doesnt seem to matter what day or time of day I come. I went today to buy a Christmas tree & there were so many pallets in the way, I couldnt find the tree I was looking for. Had to settle for a different one. Wasnt even offered any help. The one older guy ringing up customers there had 10+ people in line. Too much incompetence at this place!
I’m literally sitting at the paint counter I’ve been waiting for like 30mins. I have asked for help multiple times because clearly no one in this store will ask me do i need help. Been here since 7:27 and it’s now 7:56 and i still have not received help. I’m about to just mix the paint myself smh. Just terrible man! Y’all have to do better!
I would like to recognize an awesome employee at your business, Her name is ARNISHA. She was awesome on my visit on 11/18/21. She was so helpful and informative in regards to me purchasing Command Strips. I was completely clueless and she was so helpful. If there were a million of her in retail we would all win. Her customer service was outstanding. Thank you for being so sweet and helpful, it was like second nature to her and as a former retail worker she is THE STANDARD WE ALL SEEK WHEN SHOPPING. Thank you again Ms Arnisha.
Love that its very clean, organized, and staff is really nice and helpful! However, this location is never stocked with everything. I always have to get the basic items gettin this store. It takes them forever to restock and then once an item is restocked, it gets sold out quick. Very frustrating because this is one of the closer Walmarts in my area, so I usually drive 20 minutes away, to go to a better store with more selection. Also, make sure if youre doing grocery pickup, you choose a time slot thats not as busy. Otherwise, youll end up like me and waiting 40 minutes for your groceries to brought out to you.
I hate coming to this location never enough help and when you do find someone they angry that you bothered them 2 cashiers is a normal day you can go 2 exits up shop , check out , and pass this walmart faster than if you went here they either need more cashiers or more self check outs this place sucks
This Walmart has lost a 7-year loyal customer. Placed multiple orders during Black Friday sales on November 22. One of my items was going to be delivered from store on Nov 27 @ 7:28PM. Look at the picture to see where the item was drop off at. Picture was pitch black in the dark. November 28 call into the call center for Online orders. A young lady told me they will give me a call back in regards to this matter. Went on the app requested help again about this issue and got a call again (November 29 @ 11:25AM ET) A representative did not understand a word what I was saying to him. I gave the representative my order number. Not only that I repeated myself like 20 times and ask for supervisor over and over. He was trying to avoid me talking to a supervisor. Rep. did not address me that he was putting me on hold to research. He asks me if I want to get a refund. I explained to him No!, I want my purchased item. Representative told me that he will refund me my money towards and reordered my item that was stole from me. Well, rep. messed up everything on my order and another order. One item was delayed this rep cancelled it and refund my money and did not resolve the issue I called for. Which clearly was about a stolen item. Rep. transferred my call to Supervisor where, the supervisor never responded. I heard the supervisor spoken to many other reps about how to handled their calls. After several minutes, Myself saying hello the person hanged up from at least 2-hour call. Requested another call for a rep Junid to tell me that once an order is cancelled its nothing he can do. Once again it was not my fault for this rep to make a decision to cancelled another order item.
The aisles were full of stock that needed to be put up. Couldnt even get down the aisles that I need to get to. Starting to look like dollar general in there. Its ridiculous. And never can understand why they have 10-12 checkout lines but only have 2-3 open! And the self check out only has one register the accepts cash! Come on people not everyone uses a card. The wife and I use to look forward to the weekends to go to Walmart. Use to be fun....now its more of a hassle.
I Bought some 55 gallons trash bags and they had holes in them. I went and Exchange them and had no problem the first time. But they forgot to give me my receipt. I went back a second time, I was sick of the same problem I just wanted my money back, One of the same people was there and remember me but the Heshe customer service manager refused to give me back my money. I had left my wallet in the vehicle with my DL in there. I also was trying to return a skillet and I did not have the box but I had the receipt and he refused to take it back because I didn’t have the box. Then he screamed at me and accuse me of cutting in line. Then night manager was no help she Accuse me of tearing up the bags. I went to a different Wal mart and had no problem returning my 2 Items! The Heshe was very rude! And the night manager was rude. One of the Heshe lover was in line and he lied for his lover!
They cant never seem to keep up with demand and I have waited on a special tea they said they would restock over the summer even spoke with management up updating my review went on line and found a wheelbarrow that they said they had drove to locust Grove got to the store they didnt have it all the manager got a piss poor answer nobody has even bothered with updating it on line then I thought well lets get doggie treats hmm
Shelves are spotty and messy. What is on the shelf is placed in the wrong spot more often than not. Check the prices on the shelf to make sure its for the product thats actually in that spot. Grocery side Dept manager is clearly not supervising the kids they hired to stock the shelves. Products look like they are literally thrown on the shelves. Self checkout only after 10p no matter how full your cart is. They absolutely will not open a register or help you check out.

Changing isles to create more possible sales by blocking off isles is frustrating to reach a product. Moving departments around to causing people to search for an item they use each week and know where its always been. The customers time must not be important to Walmart anymore. Making changes should make the consumers shopping experience better, not worse. Just my opinion 🤷
5/12/2022 Sadly this Walmart is going down fast. Spring time and the garden shop has the gate closed and no registers open in the garden shop. Found a $600.00 outdoor sofa I wanted and it was in a box too high to reach. Was told I couldnt buy it because there was no one there that new how to run the machine to get it down. When I asked to see the manager I was told that there was no manager working that day. ?????? WT.... Then was told I might be able to buy it the next day if someone worked that could run their machine. It was only 5PM. No manager and no one trained to run a fork lift. Looking elsewhere .
I was a little disappointed at the selection of food available. I wanted to get something from the hot platter department but they were closed. I also needed assistance with using my electronic gift card yet the attendant was no help. I drove out of my way to go to this location even though there was a Walmart closer to me because of the area. I expected a better quality of Walmart in locust Grove.
If I could, it deserves no stars. Even though theres a remodel in progress, the shelves are always messy and often almost empty. Stock is almost always incorrect online. Quite a few times now the order pick-up/curb-side has given me rotten food, broken items - if they even give me my things. Several times now the associates mark my order delivered before Ive even checked in, creating a hassle for me to prove I didnt actually receive my paid-for items. And one last thing: the other shoppers. Human decency, manners, consideration.... Which aisle are those on, or are they perpetually sold-out, too? :(
The store needs better management. Almost every time I have been here something that I need is not in stock. Often time its understaffed and you can see one person rushing from one side to other. That being said some of the workers I have interacted with are pleasant so props for that.
Today was the final straw! I use curbside and have almost from the beginning. My orders are $3-400 3-4 a month. My pick up time was 5-6pm today. My friend finally loaded the groceries at about 7:45, they close at 8. When I called earlier to find out the delay there was a lot of goofing around going on I could hear it! They said were shorthanded, not my problem get a manager to earn their money! Small orders were getting filled but not mine. When I called again to find out when it would be ready I was told before they close at 8pm! They continued to fill small orders.Then the rain came and suddenly they couldnt go out in it! Then the power was out and they couldnt tell me anything! Aldi here we come!! If I could give less stars I would!
They have become more reliant on machines rather then focusing on customer service and helping consumers. Won’t go any lower because when I have had to speak to a manager they have actually been helpful and honest. Could be better if they focused more on the people that shop here. This is for all the Walmart though.
They need a new GM here to change this place and get people who would enjoy working here. Not many items shelved In grocery, pallets left in aisle due to short staffed. Some employees are from other stores when I spoke to them they say this store has poor management. Checked the dates on your groceries, you just never know if something is expired I see this a lot too.
Everytime I come here the shelves are always messy and often empty. So I decided to switch to curbside pickup which was was no better! They say your stuff is ready when its clearly not! I was waiting in a pickup spot for nearly 2 hours waiting on 4 things… Not to mention when I finally received my order the employee informed they were out of stock of two of the items! Like cmon!!!I was not pleased. Their online Stock is clearly inaccurate.
Parked here overnight. Tried to get store permission but employees never know who to point you too. Was undisturbed in the lot but we had a small car parked in the corner and it was a rainy night. Truck drivers were parked there as well. I wish Walmart would do more to clarify their overnight parking policy.
If I could give zero stars I would. The grocery pick up is a joke!! Every single time they mess it up. Today it was “We don’t have an order for you”. Even though I had an email showing my order number. Drive to Griffin Walmart.. they have their life together much better.
Very rarely do I ever have a good experience at Walmart. As matter of fact, I cant remember ever having a good experience there. Theyve gotten so big they dont care about customer service anymore. Stood in line for 40 minutes just send money to somebody. I mean they dont even have people with registers anymore.There are a whole slew of nothing but self checkouts. Theyve done away with the person to person interactions so they dont have to deal with customers. Im from Alabama and I believe most people down here enjoy speaking with our family and friends. Which by the way, work at Walmart. I really dont like shopping there and avoid going if at all possible.
So frustrating, that our local Walmart is so poorly managed! Walmart Corporation does not care about their poor customer service as they have done nothing to correct it in 4-5 years. It gets worse & worse with every visit! Shelves empty of products but Aisle filled with pallets of merchandise during daytime hours with no one putting products to shelves. Online Walmart associates shopping shelves empty and will not assist a customer(In store) at all. No associates to help and never enough associates at registers. Self checkout registers most don’t work properly so you about complete checking out your order and the registers freeze. Then the one person working that area has to un-bag your things to ring back up by hand! Just a sorry store!!! I’m going to save myself the frustration and just shop at Ingles or Publix, they might be higher but it’s worth my sanity.
Only shop here as last choice. Never staffed properly, unfriendly, cant move around due to pallets in isles waiting to be stocked during prime shop times, and people picking pick up orders. Do no like Walmart. The couple of pennies off does not in any way compensate for what one has to go through to shop and check ouy.
This would be my first time not giving 5 stars. I checked in as usual when I pulled in my spot, said they would be out shortly. It was a small order only $70. after about 10 mins waiting a car pulled in beside me and their order was brought to them before mine. The young lady asked me if I checked in and I told her I did. I spoke to a lady and told her my info and what spot I was in and she informed me that I was not entered or checked in. I know things happen and Im sure Im not the first or the last person this will happened to. My low score only comes from the fact I waited for 30mins for 4 bags of groceries.. none the less I will still continue to go to this store. The staff is always friendly and 99% out with our order in only a few minutes..
While in the cereal isle I noticed some Great Value cereal that was almost a month past its best buy date, there was a girl working in that isle so I let her know and she said I dont care, thats not my department . I was a little surprised by her answer and said maybe she could let someone know that was in that department, and again I dont care. Just one more reason NOT to shop Walmart.
Number one.. merchandise on shelves in correct spot which conveys wrong price.. Stockers have got to watchnwhat they are doing. Stock consistently blocking shelves and isles, cannot get to the shelves for all the pallets of merchandise. Lines too long for check out, not enough cashiers . Too little goods on shelves and in refrigerated area. Electrical lines across top of refrigerated area , had to walk under it. What a fire hazard!! Merchandise not priced correctly of what the price is marked in produce. This store has always been disorganized since opened so covid is not an issue, just fyi
This location is never well stocked. So many empty shelves. I went in one day to find a shirt for my toddler and they didn’t have one single item in her size. How is that even possible in an entire clothing section? I’ve never seen so many empty shelves in the clothing section of a store. It happens in every department to the point that I’ll pass right by them to go to another Walmart rather than waste my time going in when they likely won’t have what I’m looking for. It’s so frustrating. Besides the stocking issues the lines get very long during the oddest times of day. They just don’t seem to have enough staff on registers I guess. I wish I lived closer to another location because this one stinks.
TRUCKERS DO NOT GO TO THIS WALMART. I BOBTAILED TO THIS WALMART TO GET A FEW THINGS BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO BE STUCK AT THE NEARBY HOME DEPOT DC FOR TWO DAYS.THERE WHERE OTHER BOBTAILS ON THE SIDE LOT, SO I DIDNT FEEL ALARMED TO PARK AND GO INSIDE. WHEN I CAME OUT, I DECIDED TO SIT FOR AWHILE. TWO HOURS LATER THEY HAD 2 OR 3 TOW TRUCKS COME TO TOW THE BOBTAILS, BUT LUCKILY I WAS SITTING IN THE FRONT SEAT AND THE TOW TRUCK GUY YELLED THAT I HAD TO LEAVE. AS I WAS PUTTING MY SHOES ON, I NOTICED TWO OTHER TRUCKS ALREADY HOOKED UP. ONE OF THE TRUCK THAT WAS HOOKED UP, THE DRIVER WAS ASLEEP!! HE WOKE UP WHILE HIS TRUCK WAS LIFTED IN THE AIR!THEY DONT KNOCK ON THE DOORS AND WALMART DOESNT WARN YOU BEFORE THEY CALL THE TOW TRUCKS. THERE ARNT ANY SIGNS THAT TRUCKS CANT PARK THERE. I SAW A DRIVER PULL UP AND GO INSIDE AND HIS TRUCK WAS TOWED WHILE HE WAS IN THE STORE.THIS IS MADNESS! WALMART SUPER CENTERS IN EVERY STATE USUALLY ALLOW DRIVERS TO PARK AND GO SHOP BUT THIS ONE DOESNT. IM WARNING YOU, IF YOU BOBTAIL TO THIS WALMART AND GO INSIDE FOR A JUST A SECOND, YOU CAN BE TOWED. I WISH THAT I HADNT SPENT $200 AT THIS LOCATION BECAUSE THIS IS THE THANKS THAT WE GET. THE DRIVER WHO WAS INSIDE THE STORE, PROBABLY SPENT HUNDREDS ONLY TO COME OUT TO HIS TRUCK GONE!!! HE WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO PAY ALMOST $1000 TO GET IT OUT TODAY AND $5,000 IF IT STAYS A WEEK.
This is a very nice Walmart! Well stocked, clean, and very friendly associates. I asked one gentleman where the kleenex was, and he took me right to them. I went after work where I had been on my feet for 10 hours, so the cashier moving as quickly as she did made me very happy.
I have ordered a mug for Fathers day and i have attempted repeatedly to call the store with no success. No one answers the call. I have gone to the store and they have told me that the mug arrived but they cant find it. This is extremely frustrating because this is a gift and now I have no gift to give. All i have been told is to order it again which will take another month. I am not a very happy customer.
Purchased fresh meats (they are never fresh as they are delivered frozen and thawed mostly before being placed for purchased) and the ground meat smelled as if it was going to spoil in the next day. 5 days from the sell by date and the meat was already going bad. They grossly are mishandling these items and have lost my business. Who cares about lower prices when half the meat one buys has to be thrown out because its spoiled long before the printed sell by date! Can not contact corporate to complain, all complaints are routed directly to the store managers. Whats the point, if this is already happening on their watch why would they change now. Buy your meats elsewhere, may cost more, but its probably going to be much fresher and not spoil days before it should.
This Walmart on Howell Mill Road is the worst of all Walmart they never have stuff in stock they screw up the deliveries then charge you a new delivery fee for things that they didnt put in the delivery car even though they had it in stock I have complain to customer service they reimburse me but its more important to receive the items
I am a disabled vet and on two separate occasions I wanted to do some shopping because I am relocating. At both times I was told there were no scooters available or they were not running. I am going to quit shopping at Walmart because I have had to wait as long as an hour and 15 mins for one. Some of us like Walmart for 1 stop shopping for the disabled and I have brought this to their attention about the lack of or shortage of scooters. I am not going to beg them to take my money anymore. Original customer but enough is enough.
Ive got to say this is just about the worst experience Ive ever had at a Walmart in my life. I had e-cards and they me and my aunt we went and we both had a she had a $10 card I had a $5 ecard for Walmart specifically they will not work last night and the ladies there was three ladies there a manager and two younger girls and you know what Ive seen them before take them over to the cash their cash register where they stand where you might need help and they didnt do nothing they just tell us they said yall need to get the hell out of here and we were like oh yeahafford any Walmart at all costs I will avoid
Horrible, horrible horrible place to shop. They never have hardly anything stocked. But there is freight all over the store. It’s like a jungle gym trying to get around the freight. The employees don’t care to move it out of the way. Workers always just standing around either talking to someone, on their phone, or just walking around doing nothing. They usually only have a couple registers open and more employees, supervisors and managers standing around. Tonight, I counted 13 employees and 2 supervisors/managers just standing around up front with only 2 lanes open along with self check out. Lines all the way into the clothing. The supervisors nor the employees cared one bit to help out.
Ordering online is great and never had an issue until the last two times. This has happened the last two trips also. Not even once and then a few trips later. When I get there they cant seem to locate my order even though they have texted and said its ready for pick up. Otherwise this is great especially since I am older and have COPD and its very hard for me to do my own shopping. I truly appreciate having this service. Thank you so much.
Im a truck driver and I thought walmart loves truck drivers, but this walmart had a tow truck come and the driver was extremely rude threatening me to leave now or he was going to impound my truck. I spent 200 dollars at this store and cant believe they treated me this way. Im afraid to shop here in fear that when I come out my truck would be gone.
Its great to have a self-service Walmart in a convenient location of Locust Grove. I shop there often, in and out in no time. The regular long time employees are extremely helpful and pleasant as everyone struggles with this unusual time, and unusual expectations. Keep up the great work!
So this Walmart in Locust Grove was recently under a remodel, I have to say it really looks nice on the inside with all the modern-day signage that they put up. As you know were still in a pandemic so your essential items are very scarce and is making the shelves look pretty empty. But as far as your non-essential items like food and other things of that matter seem to be fully stocked. But overall I have to say I really like this Walmart compared to some of the other ones Ive actually shopped at so check it out if youre in the area
Got to say I got great customer service from the very nice young lady up front named Patience. She helped us at the self check out when something rung up the wrong price. She was very nice and friendly. It is nice to see a smiling face helping you. I know sometimes customer can be rough but she was great.
My wife and I went on a 2day 1 night trip to see family and friends we havent seen in quite a while .my wife wanted to go to the Walmart . So I stayed in my truck catching up some paperwork and she went in to shop and she said that it was probably the cleanest, almost fully stocked Walmart that she has seen . Now keep in mind that she worked for Walmart 22 years. Left in 2005. So she has the eye for what is good bad as far as Walmarts and what their standards call for. Locust Grove Walmart staff was very friendly smiling saying hello have a nice day how are you etc etc so if youre ever in that area you should definitely stop by there and have a nice little shopping experience and always have a nice day .
Horrible customer service. I got the run around for 3 days and then on the fourth day is was told they can not swap my item out. If I was told that on the first day would have been cool with me not wait four days to finally tell me you can do anything. I will not advise anyone use this WalMart
Always pretty well stocked and kept clean. (Except during a plandemic) Shop early for holidays and staff are usually friendly and willing to help. I do not purchase my meat from here but everything else is a go! They now offer 2hr delivery service @ $12/mon. Finally they got 1up on Amazon.
As you would expect from walmart... not enough cashiers to suit the over populated store... stopped in the vision center, next avail appointment is next month, doctor is only here 2 times a week. Seriously? Why even have a vision center? .... a couple weeks ago I placed an online order for pick up, they called me about 2hrs before pickup time and said the order cant be ready until the following day, I placed my order well over 30hrs before the pickup time, this walmart is such a joke, this store no longer exist to me, useless
This store is horrible! The layout is not like the rest of the Walmart’s why is hygiene in the middle of produce?? Hard to find stuff and never stocked up. I visited today and after a long wait in line due to no registers open the cashier left out some items and didn’t hand me all my bags and traffic is horrible so just imagine me getting back in traffic to get those items :| my first time and last visiting that location
The lady that helped me got me un and out we all know how the waits are at places like Walmart but this visit was to do an online return. If you are returning an item from someone else tell them do not start the return online. I had to go back but the woman I worked with was patient and nice.
Had a horrible experience with pickup service several months ago. Decided to give a second try. Placed my order online, scheduled pickup for today between 11 am and noon. Got there at 11. At 11:03, got an email that my order was still being processed. A few minutes later got another text that my order had been canceled for an unspecified reason. Parked, walked in to the store, got my item off the shelf, checked out and was on my way 5 min later. Clearly the place is run by imbeciles. Incompetent much?
Shelves/stock was horrible on Thursday. By now all items should be on shelves in all departments, especially since its the only Walmart that serves 2 counties on south of henry and butts County. Freezers are usually hit or miss. This store must have purchasing/restocking issues.
People just there for a check . Placed a online order and came the time I was suppose to they just insured I was at the wrong store when it was really them && I felt as if that’s someone thing I should of been called about . If I wanted to walk the stores I would of did that not order online to do contactless shopping . It’s the lack of trying to fix the issue for me. Easter gifts and attire for easter sunday church . crowed but everyone friendly and polite . Mask still not being enforced to be so crowed ...6ft apart still not happening in line but they do the best they can I guess. People working and shopping high spirits and pleasant though.
I like this Walmart a lot. Seem to have most of what I need in stock. I do a lot of my shopping online and do the grocery pick-up. I have not had a bad experience yet. I have had to wait about 45 minutes to pick up one time but was given a $20 off code for my next order which was great! I recently picked up a pair of boots that I bought online and had them shipped to the store and they got to the store very fast and going in a picking up my purchase was super easy and quick!! I personally prefer this Walmart over the McDonough one.
I honestly don’t know why anyone even shops here. Customer service is completely non existent. I tried to simply call the store this morning and it rang for 20 minutes before I hung up in disgust.I would also not recommend working here as a former employee because you are unappreciated and disrespected by management on a regular basis......Folks save your time and money!Shop else where !!!!
This review reflects the store and stocked items, NOT the employees who are mostly awesome. They do the best they can. The Locust Grove/Jenkinsburg/Jackson geographic area needs ANOTHER, larger Walmart immediately. This store always has bare shelves like theres been some type of natural disaster. We moved to this area 3 years ago, yes, even before the pandemic. You can never count on getting the items you need since theyre always out of everything!! Everyone has to go across the road to Ingles in order to shop for missing items. Customer service is always understaffed, yet the employees do the best they can. Theyre nice, professional and extremely patient. An additional store location in this area where products are actually on the shelf would be extremely profitable!!! Why is this the only store for miles serving southern Henry and all of Butts counties?
This Walmart is marginal. Always out of needed things even before COVID. Less variety, less selection. Always long lines, never enough cashiers but plenty of staff standing around doing nothing. At least this Walmart doesn’t smell like Weed all the time like the one in McDonough. Added security gates to store due to high theft. Sign of a population shift. Hold onto your purse or wallet. You are in the ‘hood now. 5 years ago this was a nice area. This is no longer true.
Employees here are on the rude side. Never enough check out lanes opened. They have 20+ and only 2 or 3 are ever opened. Grocery Shelves are under stocked or they are completely out of items. And this is all the time. Stopped shopping here almost a year ago and havent looked back. We now shop at either Ingles or Publix. Much happier experience. Price isnt everything.
For the past couple of years who ever manages this Walmart should be fired! In the beginning it was a wonderful store, clean, helpful the store manager was great. Now, you can’t find anything you want, shelves are empty anytime of day. Night shift does nothing!! Store shoppers for online orders clean out shelves and they are never restocked. Store is dirty, disorganized and the bathroom most clean f the time are filthy!!! It’s rare to find an associate who will help you and more rare to find a member of management on the floor let alone help you with anything!! Very disappointing!!!
Store was kind of a mess, pallets of stuff everywhere, poorly stocked shelves. Even the employees didnt know where things were it was so disorganized.Edit:Chopped off another star as I was harassed by the employees who accused me of stealing, making me waste more than an hour dealing with people who couldnt care less, while trying to show that I was in fact not stealing.Never coming to this location again.
Walmart is good. Issues with deli. Ignored for five minutes while lady chatted with her buddy and clean as ned slicer. Came back. Made my order. Never asked thickness, forgot how much I wanted. Sliced too much. Walked off without a word while another lady finished order.
They definitely made this store too small for the area. Its packed out most of the time, and the aisles are too small; you spent most of your time in here dodging other shoppers or following a cart train the long way around to get to something you need, because thats the way the traffic is flowing. The employees are pretty helpful and friendly.
The store is very disorganized. The pharmacy check-in CLERK was rude, condensending and not very knowledgeable of her job. Update from a year ago. Outside of their Pharmacy Department, that is amazing, this store continues to be unorganized and lack proper management!!! Now, their phone system dies not work. You can only get through to their customer friendly Pharmacy...no one else. When Pharmacy transferred me to the managerrt directly, she said, hello and then abruptly hung up on me!!!! I swear this place is so dysfunctional. Inam giving them two stars because of their amazing Pharmacy Department.
I would give this Walmart five stars,🤔however something about it just feels really throwback, you know.... like a90s type if Walmart. Not to mention they never have enough spring water.The service is not bad. And the staff is pretty friendly. Ive never had a bad experience here. Except for today when I tried to run out on the lady at the door asking to see the receipt for my water. Yeah I really got her today! Just kidding. She was scared but she laughed when she got the joke while I showed her my receipt.. 😎
I go to this walmart at least once a week. The employees are always great but, the food is never and i mean never stocked. I have the pictures to prove it on several occasions. It makes no sense. The employees tell us to complain about it to corporate because they think it is ridiculous as well. Im not the only customer that I have seen taking pictures or talking about it. Oh and it always unorganized. Management should be ashamed.
Our cashier was very nice, and talkative. The only thing thats annoying is that they have taken out all of the price check scanners, and a lot of items are always moved around (which is understandable) but sometimes I just want to know how much an item is before I take it to check out, and end up having to put it back....
Honestly the store is called a supercenter but it is not truly set up as one. This particular location is always out of something no matter what time of day or night I have visited it. Having worked for 3 different Walmart stores in my past this one is by far poorly ran as far as stock is concerned. Some of the staff is very nice to deal with especially the front end but that aspect alone does not make up for the lack of being properly stocked. If I didnt live close by I would skip this location all together.
This is a great store in Locust Grove, GA.! Would love it to be as big and have as much merchandise as the McDonough, GA. store... But the staff at the LG store is doing a great job! They are friendly, helpful, they dont act like theyre punching a time clock, so glad to be helping me! This store has good inventory just the same, and great prices! Love the Waltons and all of their stores! Would love to work for this company as a secret shopper! I have ideas for improvements... Thanks for a job well done! We need more American made... 2022-01-28I frequently stop in the store and the associates are very friendly. But they might need to get a new manager to get the shelves stocked. These pictures are products that need to go on the shelf to sell. It has been like this for over a month..... Qt #s might not be up to par for your CFO?

2022-07-04Wal-Mart is a great place to shop. The only thing that I would change is more electric scooters for the handicap!! I sometimes have a hard time finding a scooter chair to shop with. It makes a huge difference in my being able to go grocery shopping. Thank you and blessings

2022-06-26Walmart is like a gas station with misleading prices. I have to take pictures of items on shelves with prices, because once I scanned the items at the register the prices are different/higher. I had 4 items with different prices. I was able to get list price or refund. The Walmart employee said, the prices in their system had changed, but they dont have man power to change the prices on the shelves. This shouldnt be the customers problem. Walmart needs to do better. Especially with the increasing inflation thats already hurting customers pockets.

2022-06-14I like doing my shopping when Walmart first opens. Its like I get first pick on all clearance. :D I got 8 shirts and shorts for 8 dollars yesterday morning. Only about ten ppl in the whole store was a BIG PLUS.

2022-06-29Came for grocery pickup,. The wait time is never long and the staff is always pleasant. I also used the pharmacy, my wait time wasnt bad. I always choose to come to this store even though I have one closer to my home.

2022-05-28I called ahead to make sure as a new mother I can take diapers and exchange them. She said yes but they close at 8. I get there at 7:40 and they have already turned the registers off. Then they proceeded to laugh at me and then the door greeter was horribly rude. Will never come back to this location. I’d rather go to McDonough Walmart yuck.

2022-06-25It’s a Walmart, pretty much just like the rest of them. The reason for the single star deduction is because the parking lot is pretty messy, or at least it was today on our visit. Otherwise, if you shop at Walmart, then this one is as good as any.

2022-06-29I have asked and begged these people for a job and the website don’t work for me half the time.i’m trying to get in with them at night, i’ve talked to a GM named Steve and no one has gotten back to me yet, even about my service dog!!! i wanted night shift so there was no customers in the store and maya (my service dog) will be less distracted, not that she is when she’s around people. anywho, i’ve tried and tried and no one will get back with me. i’ve been looking for CEO and all but i can’t find nothing.
