This WalMart is always a bad experience. Employees are rude, no prices ever match when you scan on your phone then scan at register then they want to argue about price matching their own prices. If I could give negative stars Id rate this store -5. I hate this WalMart.
Although the setup was similar to the morrow and ellenwood Walmarts; the Full shelves and being able to get what you need and want, far surpassed the other 2 stores. What is their secret and can they please pass it on. One difference that I noticed: the staff working and working together instead of just talking together. 😒
It was extremely hot inside the store so I didnt want to shop the store was pretty well stocked but seems unorganized compared to the Walmart stores I am use to my cashier was friendly fast and efficient but its so hot she had a neck fan we are new to the area but probably will not shop here unless its a have to
Sometimes I cant believe this is our neighborhood store. Today, there were only maybe 3 cashiers. We had to go through self checkout with 200 in groceries. People were just pure frustrated and discussed. What is going on with Walmart?? Why are allowing this to be this way and this place makes millions!! Why cant we have the Walmart experience when they first arrived. Always fresh quality food and outstanding customer service. Its like a zombie place. The energy of that place needs to be lifted. Its just too many people that live in the area for our store to be like this.
Have been racially profiled so many times by the little Hispanic woman at the entrance. This is not a good look Walmart. Caucasian couple walk out with things in they’re hands(not in their bag)an she didn’t check them. I had a buggy an she stopped me to check my receipt. WHY????!!!!
Found everything l needed, and utilized another business inside the Walmart. Todays cost of certain foods were relatively reasonable, but the lines for cashier were long, therefore had to wait, yet patience is a virture, the cashier and clerks were very helpful. Thank you again for your services.
The service I had was amazing by the manager miss Melissa AKA MISSY!!! I dont know the ladys name that was so rude to me when I went to get playstation 4 controllers!! But having amazing service by your manager is awesome. I have anxiety.. And Im disabled. I get scared and I start crying really fast.. Im so happy that she helped me. Now my kids and I can play together ❤ 😌.
Amazing how a store that was open 24 hrs and very successful can become a place where employees TRY VERY HARD not to help ANYONE!!! They have 25-30 registera and only 3 open. On a good day!! CLOSE THE DOORS EVERY OTHER PLACE IS BETTER!! EAGER TO GET A HOB AND THE DAY YPU START YOU ARE AMAZINGLY LAZY!!
I placed a shopping and delivery order. I received a notification that several of the items that I had ordered were unavailable. One of the items that they claimed was unavailable that I really needed today was dog food.Immediately after receiving the notification, my husband went into the store and found the dog food that we needed plentifully stocked on the shelf. This is a poor excuse for a shopping and delivery service. This happens all the time.
I park there with my tractor trailer and was tagged with 300.00 by Walmart to be towed. I purchased items from their store and was resting in parking lot when a tow truck driver chained my bumper and demanded 300.00 I will never shop at Wal-Mart again and will let all tractor trailer drivers about the way I was treated and held hostage.
Only one register open. Slow checkout. Got what I needed though.Next trip, no buggies, two registers open, no wheelchair parking available because they turned some of them into pick up parking, couldnt find about half of what my Mom normally gets. Employees look distressed. Needs new management. Going to a different one next time even if its a longer drive.
I recently had to go to Walmart and quickly remembered why I hated going to that place! I went in for a few items and needed assistance for a grill that was on sale. It took me 25 minutes to find someone to help me. When I did find someone they were no help and had no clue how to get help. I asked if they could call someone who could help me, no luck. They replied they didnt have anyones number and couldnt radio anyone because it was dead 🤯! I went to checkout and of course, there was only one register open! 😐 I hate Walmart.
Leah is honestly the laziest person I have EVER seen. I asked for a price check on an item, she just shrugged and said I couldn’t buy the item. I had to get ANOTHER persons attention to find the price. She also told a couple with a child that they were all out of bags, when there was an empty register with PLENTY of bags. She shouldn’t be getting paid just to stand around and give people an attitude.
Went to customer service at 4:57pm and was told that customer service closes at 6pm. I checked my phone and it was 4:57pm which I told the associate and he indicated that there wasnt anyone working in customer service but I clearly saw an associate behind the counter. Also there werent any shopping carts available.Target here I come!!!!!
I can be honest this is the closest Walmart to me and sometimes I absolutely hate going here, they always have a person watching self check out which is completely OK but they pick and choose who to stand there and stare at which absolutely frustrates me I have been living in this area for I want to say going on seven years and over the last year it has been this one specific lady older lady that stands at self check out an Will stand there and target who she wants to watch and I’ve noticed that it’s more so of minority than it is anyone else, I’m A minority that shops there a lot not as much anymore because of this one specific lady I’ve seen her target people of color so many different times and she’s even done it to me and I don’t think it should be like that so I no longer use self check out I use a person and check out with a person because she makes me uncomfortableSo I will even go as far as to drive to Hudson Bridge or Locust Grove by Tanger just because I don’t like how people get treated
Placed an order on Sunday afternoon a little over 4pm online, order to be ready between 8-9am to pickup curbside. Received a text that order was going to be delayed . It was 11:30am order was not ready. My son customer service and was told computer hasnt generated the order he would have to wait or cancel the order. I was on online with 3 agents and they couldnt do anything but give me numbers to call. It was my son, who had to pick his order himself after 6pm because Walmart, wanted to cancel the order. SMH!!LAZY!!! THEY REWARDED WITH 2 $10 GIFT CARDS. WE DIDNT CARE ABOUT THE MONEY, ITS ABOUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
We bought a new battery and they said free installation, well a hour and half we are still waiting. The mechanic didnt have the right wrench, so he had to wait for a different mechanic to come off lunch. And.. the mechanic was on his personal phone, while we are watching from the waiting room!!! VERY ANNOYED!! FREE OR NOT.. there should be a charge that I could charge them for aggravation. Another 30 minutes passes, they said our car was ready, so we go to get to start and it wouldnt START!! Are you kidding me. So wait more to have a different mechanic come to tighten up several bolts, because the original mechanic I assume didnt want to!!
Same as always lacking in almost every category. You want to know specifics extremely long lines at the self-serve checkout and the regular checkout with her associate working there its always that way I dont care when you walk in there theres a line because they dont have enough cash registers open or cashiers to fill those jobs I dont know but its a problem. Im not a window shopper Im going there to get something specific and right back out its a real pain in the rear Ive seen a long line to buy two items. Theyll have two cashiers in 10 yellow shirts standing around watching them. Something wrong with that picture
I was pleased at the retreating of shopping carts in a timely manner which made me feel better about my car not getting hit with shopping carts left in the parking lot. However, there werent many lanes open to check out of and the cashier didnt speak to me on approach or departure except to tell me the amount of my purchase. The cashier wasnt very, polite or customer service friendly.
I wish I could give this store 5 stars...I really do. My top annoyance is the buggies. They need to purchase more and keep them maintained. I have no complaints with the staff. Everyone I have encountered since their opening...yes, I have been shopping here since they opened in the late 90s...is a pleasure. I have come to know some of the staff and they are always friendly and over the top helpful.I also appreciate the extensive remodel they went through just a couple years ago. Thank you! Blessings!
The grocery pick up is horrible. We waited over an hour. One of the associates saw us waiting and never bothered to ask us if we were waiting for a pickup. We had to stop her and ask her where was our order. Come to find out they couldnt find our groceries. The manager says they cant replace our order because it will mess up their inventory. Her advice was to place another order or wait for our refund thats refunded in 4 days and place another order then. No consideration for the customer and their incompetence at all. Customer service is complete trash.Day
This Walmart is located in McDougah Georgia..Its has a Pharmacy inside the store where sick pe can walk in..Tbe customers can pay for merchandise with Cash,Checks or Credit Cards..The customer services desk where you can send or receive cash..Wal-mart to Wal-Mart where customers can send or pickup cash..You can pay bills here.The parking lot has many spaces available and handicap spaces..Ladies theres Nail sa within the store..This Wal-mart Required Face Mask.
ANSWER THE PHONE!Walmart on Willow Lane in McDonough is so unprofessional 🙄 I ordered groceries to be delivered TUESDAY they didn’t deliver two hours after my time slot, I called to cancel the order since they weren’t coming OR communicating they said I couldn’t. Yesterday they said it’s delayed but they won’t answer the phone up there… I can’t go in due to me being pregnant on bed rest and you’re telling me you still have my order… i just want my money back at this point y’all playing! The customer service number is a JOKE as well! They keep saying they can’t do anything?!!! So what are you answering the phones for ?
This location is better stocked than my local one. Since this company is so interested in forcing everyone to check themselves out, is it not time to install some self checkout lanes for those buying large amounts of items. Also, fix the software on the machines. Having to wait for someone to double check an item that was scanned because the machine registered it, but didnt at the same time is ridiculous and an even bigger waste of time, resources and effort.
The store was busy and of course there were no carts. My wife asked if there were any carts available and the young lady at the door told my wife to get her own cart in the parking lot if she wanted. Yep enough said. This store would get a ZERO but I have to give at least 1 star so there you go.
I go to the Walmart every weekend and spend close to if not $200 each time, I made a decision this week and not to go I will go elsewhere, The lines are way too long and I have too many groceries to do self check out, And then when I finally do get checked out I get stopped at the door and the lady checks my receipt for several minutes real close and I am ready to go, It is tough when you only have one day off to do everything and you get held up like that, Also there are buggies all along Willow lane and a couple of times some people have put some in my yard and I could not get someone to come Get them, I have had 2 back surgeries and the longer I stand the worse my back hurts, I wish they would have never built the Walmart around here, I have been living here before Walmart Lowes quick trip or none of these places were built, Also one of the things it is good that you are stalking the shells but do not have 2 people at the same time stocking because it gets very crowded in Those isles and it could be dangerous if there was a fire.
I order my groceries online and pick them up from this Walmart location even though I live in Locust Grove. This location almost always has everything in my order and if not they do everything to make a substitution for it if possible. I usually have a $200+ order every 2-2 1/2 weeks. It makes my life a tad easier to be able to make an order and be able to go pick it up at my convenience so I appreciate that all my order is there and I dont have to make an extra stop to fill in my list. If I order from the LG location I might get half of what I ordered & no substitute is made.
Friday afternoons is not the ultimate time to shop. Gaps on shelves missing merchandise, employees just standing around, one lane open with a cashier and a long line of customers with very full carts.It took 30 minutes to get checked out from the time I first got in line. Yes, another line opened but only after some patrons said something to the employees who were standing around chatting.Early morning shopping is better at this location.
They make it clear that they dont want trucks. Lots of islands and giant rocks on each one. You can see that some trucks have hit them. Went into our delivery for Ceva early. They turned us away, came to the walmart knowing we would.probably get kicked out. But it was 11pm. There were at least 6 other trucks there. Went shopping and left a couple hours later with no issues. Though there was a pick up truck with a camper who got his truck booted, but he was the only one we saw. So beware. If youre going to park here, do so at your own risk.
Truck drivers beware avoid this walmart at all costs I called ahead as I do with every walmary to check if I can park overnight the woman on the phone assures me its fine I park at 2pm they wait til 9pm when Ive been asleep for several hours and wake me up and threaten to tow me terrible place would not recommend
I went there around 7:30 in the morning right before work it was a fairly good experience but only because of the time Im sure. I think customer service went downhill with all the self checkout self-sac your groceries selfless self that generally find a person that knows anything if you need help. With the internet and new technology customer service in the big box stores has plummeted. Almost everything is antisocial. Im pretty sure they wont be any stores everything will be done from home. Im sure the covid-19 has something to do with that as well.
The staff was helpful and friendly. There is a wide variety of inventory for most things. But outdoor patio furniture, and lighting is what I was looking for, and they were in poor supply... The thing that made trip this time around is that I was able to get several items I wanted and needed for $50... A bottle of CK Eternity, a reversible Dickies belt, a badminton set, and a 3 set of movies... So I was very satisfied with my birthday budget!
I like this Walmart. If you travel, you can stay overnight in the parking lot. It says no overnight parking but I have yet to have a problem. Many overnight semis and fellow Walmart campers. I feel safe here. The Walmart is a supercenter and has everything you need, including an automotive center.
The workers at the Mcdonough Walmart seem as if they have an attitude when you ask for help. They dont even ask what it is you need help with, its like they cant do it no matter what the request is. Then they seem to have an attitude when you do come to them. Its like your wasting their time when you come to them for help.
This walmart is horrible. First I was told that I couldnt use self checkout with cash so I had to stand in line for about 20 minutes because there were only 2 lanes open and then the cashier rang all of my stuff up and then told me she didnt have any change so I stood there another 5 minutes waiting for someone to bring change. They never did so I told her just give me the cash you owe me and keep the change. All the while associates are walking around talking to each other and not helping customers at all.
This Walmart is horrible, 0 customer service. They will stand and stare at you when they know you clearly need help then ignore you when you ask for help. The money center is never open. Stood for 32 mins before i finally stopped whom i assume Was a shift manager and she said it’s closed. No close sign visible at all no where…. Only have one lane open for customers to pay. But don’t take cash as self check out. SMH…. They need to throw the whole team away and start over at this location.
I had to go to the doctors here and they were great! I hope youve checked out this place before going to an urgent care. Their prices are affordable and they do take health plans. I would recommend this place from my experience. The wait was not long when I went and I really appreciate that! I pray that the Lord blesses this establishment and its workers in Jesus name amen 😇🙌
We needed an air conditioner...I cant lift more than 10 pounds.A young man named Jerome...was fantastic. He brought out a dolly, lifted the machine, brought it to the register and patiently waited for my items to be rung up.He also put it in my vehicle.Big shoutout to this young man!! He was my super hero!!
This store is nasty, very understaffed, can not get anyone’s help, product scattered all over the floor with pallets of merchandise blocking all large openings. Product selection very low and their curbside is an absolute waste of your time. Constantly will cancel your order without any notice.
WALMART IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSTTTT! Dozens of associates just walking around yet no one can seem to help when you’re in need. I sat at the photo department for 20 minutes and no one asked me if I needed help. I walked away and found another associate in the sporting goods department and asked if he could assist me. He replies “Go call for a manager. That aint my department”. Where is the help? We already know you don’t have any cashiers up front and now I see there isn’t anyone competent on the floor either. Sad excuse of a business. I’ll take my money to Kroger and Publix.
I visited Walmart on 2/13/21 I went in to simply get a battery. Once I arrived it was confirmed to a Walmart employee that I needed a battery, after purchasing the battery which was $106.00 they cashier sent another older African American male out to install the battery. While I sat in the passenger seat to watch this employee install this newly purchased battery he became very unprofessional he began using profanity he expressed how much distain he felt for having to install this product, due to this process extending beyond his scheduled work hours. The employee began to slam the battery and made such a ruckus I decided to get out and watch from the outside. He instructed me to crank the vehicle, I attempted and nothing happened no lights or any function appeared. The employee then we and got a self starter box which allows him to jump start the battery. After attempting to start my vehicle there were new issues that started to occur. My vehicle lights turned on but never crank, when I attempted to turn the vehicle off it would not, it would click as if it turned off but all of the lights were still on and would remain on. At this time I asked for management, Kevin the service manager along with associate Nate came out to assist. I advised that my vehicle was not experiencing any of these issues prior to the previous associate installing and jumping the newly purchased battery. The manager then removed the newly purchased battery and reinstalled my old battery, after putting the negative connection post on & off my vehicle crank with no issue he explained I needed to get the wiring checked. He took the new battery back and advised he would provide a refund. Within the next few days I took my vehicle to the dealership to get testing done on the wiring and I have been advised the when my vehicle was jumped started my engine computer was fired and now has to be replaced i am very dissatisfied and feel that I should be reimbursed because if not for his incompetence then I would not have to go through this experience.
Bought some stuff got back to the car and my battery was dead so I took it inside to exchange it. They told me that the system is saying its out of its warranty. Well I go back to the car and find the receipt. The receipt said I purchased it 10/2019 and the battery has a 3yr free replacement warranty but they tell the system still shows no warranty available! If you buy a battery at Walmart in locust Grove and have it replaced for free the warranty never restarts with the new one its continues from the old one. My receipt showed the purchase date and I paid full price!
Well first of all your shelves are not fully stocked at 13:00 in the afternoon, theres people begging for money out front, every scumbag in Blacksville was there. Your store looks run down, hence why you probably attract all the riff raff scumbag. What a dump. Will never go there again. Mcdonough used to be nice now its nothing but low life, wanna be thugs around there. Look what is in your parking lot, your competitors Truck and trailer. If youd hire some educated people to run your store, say people from the east side of Mcdonough, it would make that store what it used to be.
Choose another Walmart. All the employees are angry about something. Pick up service undependable. Check your bags before leaving to ensure every item is accounted for. Your online receipt will state it was in stock, shopped, and included in your order but its not there. At least I was able to have the team member go get my missing item from the store and bring it out to me. She stated the shopper had failed to pull the item. I would have spent less time going into the store and shopping for myself. Most staff are inept. Unfortunate for a store this size. So much for saving time using pickup. Wont visit this location again.
Monica the store manager was very helpful. She quickly made sure I was in and out. She was very nice and respectful. She saw that I had a few things and suggested I use the self checkout. I told her I really didnt like using those and she said, come on Ill help, because I know most people have produce and isnt use to using the self checkout with those items, but its easy. In less than 3 minutes I was on my way out. Thank you Monica!!!!!!!
Terrible customer service… “operational issues” and telling people they have to wait 48 hours for order to be updated… bad business when you can’t contact customer and get accurate info about your order. Walmart is a joke what a inconvenience. Terrible customer service
I drove to this Walmart because their website showed they had the specific car battery that I needed. When I arrived, the battery I needed was not on the shelf. The sales associate took the time to go in the back and found one for me. Service was fairly quick and the sales associate was very personable. Great job in my opinion.
If your a tractor trailer do not park here. They will tow your truck away. Even if your still inside shopping. They dont care if your inside their store or at the cracker barrel next door eating. Dont say you appreciate the trucks that deliver there but tow them the moment their done delivering.
Never clean. Shelves empty. Employees are always taking up the aisle space with large carts. Most of the time you cant get through the aisle. Forget pricing. You never can find a price even on the shelves. I had 14 different items in my cart for price check. I asked a gentleman where I could find a price check kiosk. He told me they were all broken. He had a price gun in his hand and he asked me if I needed a price check and I said yes but I have a lot to check and he made a face. Another employee who saw this came over and she helped me.The employees do not abide the 6 foot distancing and also saw a lot with their masks under their nose.
Came to Walmart at 9 PM to buy a SIM card and was unsuccessful. The terrible part was the customer service. I had two people try to help me and called someone over the intercom. After waiting thirty minutes I walked to the front to a group of three cashiers at self checkout and asked if anyone or a manager had a key. A young man named AZ said he was a manager and he didn’t have one. The young lady pointed me in the direction to the actual manager Monae. I asked Monae if she had a key and with a nasty attitude she stated if nobody was back there to help me they were closed. It’s not even the fact I couldn’t get what I needed but the child playing to be a manager and the manager rolling her eyes acting like it was crazy I needed some customer service. Do better, be better.
Several bad experiences here, in store & with the grocery pickup. Too many employees are rude & not well trained. Will not be doing pick up from McDonough location again. Both attempts at pickup horrible. They must be overscheduled. First time was 45 minutes late. Now Im currently waiting on the second, been here for over an hour. The phone lines say they are closed. About to leave without groceries. Ridiculous.
Terrible experience with this job. They don’t care about employees and won’t even pick up the phone to fix my pay! Also they don’t accommodate pregnant women just make them feel TERRIBLE about asking not to lift boxes. I wanted to work here on the side (WORST DECISION EVER) Bad location!
This is the worst Walmart ever ! Customer service is horrible and the managers are incompetent ! Waited over 30 minutes for someone to come and open a case for my son to get a game for his birthday. After waiting, someone finally came and told us that they couldn’t access the keys to the case. How are you the overnight manager and don’t have access to keys that open something in your store! I will gladly give target my money from now on !
This use to be a GREAT place to shop, but now nothing is ever stocked, there are a lot of employees but just standing around on their phones or just talking. There is always a lot of freight out blocking aisles. There is graffiti all over the brand new supposed to be locked cases. I stood in line to check out for 20 minutes, because they only had to lanes open to check out. Dont know whats going on but whatever has changed it needs to change again soon.
Today was the most incompetent service ever! I use curbside and spend minimum of $600 a month. Todays order was to get what was removed from yesterdays order plus some new. I got 3 of my items and a bunch that belonged to someone else. Took 5 calls, 2 to the store...no answer and 3 to corporate. I spent 20+/- minutes on the phone to resolve this. They owe me a refund of roughly $110 to me. I think Ill be switching to Aldi or Kroger. Walmart has screwed up too much!
Always an easy experience and sometimes fun depending on who I go with. However when you have more self check out available then actual registers it makes me think about spending my money else where.Walmart is known for long lines and short staff and not because people dont want to work but because you think its ok to build a machine and take someones job when in reality it is an inconvenience more then a convenience. Do better and for once actually care about the people who spend their bread crumbs that continuously make you wealthy
GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Seriously the worst Walmart I’ve ever shopped at. Don’t waste your time doing order or grocery pick up. You won’t get it. If you do it will be wrong 8/10 times. Pricing is usually wrong on the shelves. They are slow and nonchalant about assisting with issues. I’ve tried to be patient and give the benefit of the doubt but it’s a different issue almost every time I go in or order online and they don’t even make up for it with smart issue resolution. This is unfortunate because it’s close but I will drive the additional 10 minutes for a better experience.
Its clean. Workers are friendly. I learned when I buy food stick to food only. LOL. The store is so big and the other departments take my mind off the food products. Dont forget your face covering and be patient at the check out.( Blessings To You And All Your Loved Ones.)..
For some unknown reason they closed their online order pickup koisk. I ordered a few non-grocery items (deodorant, sunscreen, etc) and had to check in, park and wait 25 minutes for someone to bring my order out. This definitely defeats the purpose of ordering online....
Walmart Supercenter is a one stop shop baby !!! Let me tell you . Their home decor is nice fashionable, reasonable price and quality. I especially like the Toy drive they had this Christmas for less fortunate families. Amazing! The list actually had gift items request that supported the dreams and present aspirations for the children !
As the community grows this Walmart has update their. It is bigger, cleaner, more open. But completely empty. How can a store this big, with this many people never have a fully stocked shelf. I mean Toothbrushs, Razor, Soap! Really Walmart Soap. 3 Brands out of 100...That is nothing, A Saturday morning and you have 1 person working the Pharmacy counter! Ugggg.This is just crazy....As a Tax payer I am so upset to have to drive all the way across town

Today at the walmart in mcdonough, georgia. I made a purchase of $ 200. the person checking at the exit stopped me for 15 minutes, checking me product by product. a rude person, who did not even respond to what one asked him. Terrible service at this walmart which is the second time I come.

The cashier scanning my items was in a hurry, which is understandable being that its new years eve and customers were in line with buggies filled. I had 13 items. She asked me was it credit or debit. I said debit and she said Go ahead and swipe your card. After she had only scanned one item. I said I would like to see my total first. To me It doesnt make sense to commit to the payment before I know if the total is correct. She said I will give you your total maam. You can go ahead and swipe your card. Im just trying to keep the line moving. Again I said Id like to see my total first She said something else but it wasnt audible. She mumbled a little more then finished scanning. As soon as the total popped up I just went ahead and inserted my card and proceeded with the transaction. I never like to do that because I have gotten home and have been missing items or charged more than once for an item. I checked my receipt afterwards to make sure the larger items were correct and they were. Im sure she was probably thinking about her items per hour as a cashier and not the possible inconvenience this could cause a customer if the cashier is rushing and makes a mistake. Well sure enough I get to my next stop and I was charged for 6 items but I only have 5 of those items. I need 6, I counted out 6 in the store and I was charged for 6. The items were 1.97 each. The price wasnt a lot but nevertheless its still my money and I needed 6 of the items today. Its inconvenient for me to turn around and drive back to mcdonough for a 1.97 item, but if I want what I paid for I have to.... Up until that point my McDonough walmart experience was decent.I have called the store several times and no one picks up in any department except pharmacy and they were unable to transfer me to customer service.
I shop at Best Buy for all of my electronics. They have so much variety at price points to fit all budgets. The staff is so knowledgeable about their products making the shopping experience easier for someone who may not be as knowledgeable. I highly recommend Best Buy.
I went to Walmart to buy Friskies cat food. My cats like Friskies Pate. There were about 15 cans of a flavour they will not eat. Only 2 cans of the flavour they will eat. It was a busy time of day and I was not about to stand in line to pay for 2 cans of cat food. This was the 3rd time in a little over a week that I had been to Walmart to try to buy some cat food. One time I was able to get about 6 cans.I am very disappointed in the McDonough Walmart.
This for the Walmart in Griffin. It is the only Walmart I will go to in the whole area and I live in Hampton. They always have things I need in stock and the employees actually enjoy having a job. Its rare to find an employee that isnt kind and helpful. And they dont run you out the door when they close like all the other Walmarts do especially the love joy Walmart which by the way I do not recommend Lovejoy Walmart at all, ever! Other Walmarts around should take note from the Griffin Walmart!!
The representatives in the electronics department were very rude and not helpful at all. The only person that deserves praise is my girl AMY. She is amazing and was so nice to me and helped me a lot. I was notified three days in a row that my pictures were ready for pick up and when I drove all the way there they were never done. I told this to Amy and she immediately told me she would personally get the job done and call me when it was completed. She deserves a raise!
Waited 55 minutes (I was the first person in line) to pickup items that were preordered (online and in store). No customer service - no one was at the machine, and when I clicked help, no one came. About ten elderly people waiting after me with many people walking by without masks during covid. Will never order pickup again. Should fire manager for not ensuring that someone is staffed at the pickup machine and not ensuring that those staffed in the back are doing their jobs. It’s one of the worst Walmart’s I’ve seen in terms of available items and customer service
I was able to get handicapped parking and an electric car however the seat was broken and provided an uncomfortable ride. The parking lot was trashy and very soiled. I found all but 2 shopping list items, so I had to make another stop before going home. It was hard to find a store employees to assist with locating merchandise and checkout. I suppose we all have to get use to self-checking and bagging our own merchandise as all those lanes were open and operating.
Well it’s Walmart. It could be Super if the neighborhood patrons and employees took more pride in their neighborhood Walmart this would be an awesome cost saving experience and place to shop. Until then, I will continue to use the wonderful online grocery pick up service to order things I need. I have only went inside of this location once and I almost had an anxiety attack due to all the wild kids running around and how loud it was. I have ordered online for pickup numerous times and on every occasion thus far, the customer service delivery person has been nothing but a joy and very engaging.
I was in Walmart on Willow Lane on Saturday November 28, 2020. As I stood in line I notice on the Walmart App, they had A Disney Girls Inline Scooter Folding for $4.00 that could only be purchased in that store at that price, and Willow Lane location was the only store at them in stock. I was with someone else, and they were in a hurry I went home to get my car and went back to locate the scooters in the store. I found The Disney Scooters in the store. I went to the cashier register where Cecilia waited on me and told me they were ringing up $19.97, I then stated to her and showed her on the App that they were $4.00. Cecilia then called Patricia a Customer Service Manager who scanned the item off her App which was $19.97 at that point that was a mistake on Walmart by advertising the item on the App for two different prices, but she seem to not care. I had two of the scooters and begin in the position she was in she could at least offer one at price and she didnt do that, instead she just stood there like I only had $4.00 to pay for the item like I couldnt purchase the item. I did purchase one of them for $19.97. I then started out the store and ask for a store manager and talk to Angela who was no help as well. I showed my App and the Scooter for the price of $4.00, and she scanned it with her App, but it rang up at $19.97, I then told her this was the only Disney Girls Inline Scooter on the the floor and it shows on the App in store purchase only at Willow Lane for $4.oo and showed available in that store only. I then ask could she find the the ones available at that price and she told me she couldnt and brush me off. I then took the item home and thought about how I was treated overnight and I decided to return it to the store the next day, and I purchased a Scooter online with Amazon Prime and it was higher than $4.00 and $19.97. I order from them alot and never had the experience I had with Walmart, so I spent my money with someone who is on point with their customer service and reaches out to help no matter what. I was an employee with Walmart for 10 years as A Customer Service Supervisor with Sams Club and anybody that knew me from my old store knew they were satisfied when they left. Customer Service goes a long ways in my book and this store is very unprofessional and has horrible customer service. You never leave a Customer Unsatisfied.
This is the worst Wal-Mart I have been in. We were standing in line for about 20 minutes, when this girl walked up and then a manager told her she could get her stuff by just knocking on the door. And she did. So instead of standing in line patiently like the rest of us, she broke in front of all of us and got her 4 things.
Is rudeness, a job requirement at Walmart. They very, very few that have decent to good customer service is a needle in a haystack. It is becoming more and more frustrating to go to this or any Walmart. With COVID 19 and the requirements to enter a store is tough on EVERYONE, shoppers and store associates alike. So to ask for assistance to find something in the store, should not seem like I just woke them up from a deep sleep and get the evil eyes, rolling eyes, huffing, head roll, the walk away, or any sort of unprofessional attitude and gestures. Come on Walmart, you have to do better.
Walmart is a horrible company. I ordered an item and have not received it for over five months. I contacted support and they basically stated that it is past 90 days and they cannot help. They WILL not refund OR give me the actual product I ordered. They will also NOT give me store credit . This product is over $60. I just wasted that money with a horrible company.

2022-04-25I recently did a online order for pick-up and waited forever to get it ....was ready to cancel it completely until Joshua Thomas stepped up and made sure I received my items.You have a great young man working in that department!! You almost lost a customer but he saved the day.

2022-02-03It took over an hour to bring out my item. I called several times. They did not pick up the phone. They picked up 3 times and hung up. When I finally got a rep, they said they item was on the way. This process repeated for a little over an hour. I would have just left, but the app showed that the item had been picked up already, so I did not want to be charged for the item that I did not receive. I only ordered 5 of the same T shirt. I do not plan on shopping at Walmart again. Its just not worth it.

We asked a gentleman that was putting marked down ice cream in the clearance refrigerator about where the candy would be and he actually knew exactly where it was usually at other Walmarts know one has a clue. It was so refreshing to experience it. Thank you sir!! You were AWESOME!!!

2022-04-05This location has since improved since Ive been frequenting this store. Prior to COVID it was constantly crowded with long line, messy, unorganized and well understaffed and peak peak shopping hours. That is the reason I hardly bothered to go to Walmart during that time. Now that they actually close and are no longer 24 hrs it is as if the service has gotten much better. They have since added self check out registers on both sides of the stores which makes for a quick in and out experience. I no longer have to wait on those long & dreadful lines. The shelves are well stocked (at least when I shop). Finally it seems as if everyone is a little more pleasant about working there.

2022-06-06Save yourself some time and go to a Walmart that’s convenient with employees that care. On several and I do mean several occasions I’ve placed pickup orders that has been missing items, given the incorrect items, and waited over 30 mins for pickup you can call inside the store but no one answers the phone not even sure if they have a store manager or what due to the lack of work ethic that this store have they walk around twisting their hair pants sagging and no enthusiasm for Walmart. It’s a disgrace to the brand that Mr Walton built. Corporate need to come do a overhaul on this entire store

2022-04-19If I could give negative stars, I would. The aisles are so cluttered and nothing is in the correct place on the shelves- Extremely chaotic!! More often than not a good portion of the shelves are empty-trash all over the floor throughout the store- employees are rude, disrespectful, and have nasty attitudes about simply doing the job for which they are paid…I WILL AVOID THIS WALMART AT ALL COSTS

2022-05-16This Walmart’s Drive-up Pickup area needs a more effective system and supervision. Once you check-in on the app, the associates mark your items as picked up. Doing so removes your order from the que and causes confusion b/c the associates can’t find it. I waited over an hour b/c they marked my order as picked up when it wasn’t. I had to walk in, stand in the pickup corridor and speak to an associate to find my pickup order, which was never brought up from the back. -_- they also don’t answer the pickup area phone and most of the runners who bring out the items are on their cellphones; causing major delays in customers receiving their items. I’ve come to hold Walmart to a very low standard in terms of customer service, so I’m not surprised at all. However, they need a major overhaul of the pickup area and the employees if it’s not going to be utilized as intended.

2020-11-12I typically like to see how many people are available to assist patrons to decide if the establishment cares. I know Covid males it tricky for many. This walmart had multiple cashiers available, good selection of merchandise and seemed to be well stocked. Items were easy to find in the aisles and were marked correctly. Not always the case at some Walmart. I navigated through the store easily, and found what I came to get reasonably priced.
