Only reason I’m giving one star is because I actually like Walmart. I buy a lot of stuff from Walmart. I spend mad money here, But every single time I go to leave through those doors I get stopped and asked to see my receipt and I know that they’re profiling me. I’m not stupid. I know the way the world works I literally just watch somebody right in front of me have items not in a bag even talk to them not check their receipt but you know he checked mine. When will the racial/cultural prejudice stop? Especially at a place where I spend thousands of dollars at. I Guess I’ll just buy Amazon.
This Walmart was clean and well stocked. The cashier was a bit slow but fairly friendly. The produce section was problematic. I had to search through the red peppers and cucumbers to find some that were not too ripe. They were out of Parsnips and only had a single beat up Rutabaga. These are important vegetables for Keto. I wanted some turkey lunchmeat from the deli. The deli was closed and the meat case nearby only had a few packages of lunch meat and only a single small package of honey roasted turkey. However, I was able to get most of my needs met. The clothing section in the front of the store was very clean and organized.
If you are considering getting a Dental cleaning at Walmart Dental in Newnan DO NOT BOTHER. My experience was absolutely awful. At my first exam I was charged $50 which was supposed to be $25 but they took a panoramic full mouth which was $25 extra which they never told me about. On the day of my cleaning they called me to tell me that they had looked over my X-rays and that I needed a deep cleaning which I had asked about on the first visit and wastold “No. You do not have any problems and will only need a regular cleaning”. So why did I suddenly need a deep clean for $200? The doctor herself said that my previous dental work was “beautiful” and that I have no further work to do other than a cleaning. I feel that they bait and switch procedures to receive higher fees. If I could find a phone number to complain about Walmart Health (I have waited on the phone 32.54 minutes to find out but to no avail) I would do so. If they bother to read this, please contact me.
As a black man, I am very disappointed in how Walmart in Newnan, GA. is allowing security officers to stand and stalk a person and stare at a shopper in the checkout line as if this place is a prison. This behavior makes me feel uncomfortable at the self checkout registers. This Saturday (4-16-2022) was the last straw. There was a officer standing on the wall right in line-of-sight of me watching everything I was checking out. I felt nervous, under pressure to not make a mistake and had done nothing wrong. But was made to feel oppressed and under scrutiny. Walmart needs to do a better job in how they train officers, how they are monitoring shoppers and stop this personal scrutinizing behavior. Officers should be made aware to not intimidate and harass shoppers and not profile individuals. When I called the store, explained my experience and asked to speak to the manager on staff about this, they told me they were not available. I wondered who is watching the store or were they treating me as a 2nd class citizen! I dont like to go to this store anymore!
DONT CHOSE THIS LOCATION FOR PICKUP. We have had multiple bad experiences with this place. We call multiple times and no one answers. We ask the workers to get our order and still wait for 20 - 30 minutes before the order shows up. Half the time we end up cancelling because no one will get us our pickup order. Save the hastle and chose target in Newnan if you want pick up. But avoid Walmart.
Definitely not the best Walmart. Its a mess. Inquired about an item and the associate told me to call during the day when someone would be there who knows something. Called for 3 days and no one answered the phone in any department. Phones off, ringers off? No customer service these days.
Its a typical Walmart. My entire time there I encounter two employees who may or may not have been on the clock. When we crossed paths they walked directly in front of me and when I said Excuse me. they both rolled their eyes at me, turned their backs and continued to look at one of the lingerie racks.The store was a on the neat side, ie...nothing blocking aisles, no clothes on the floor.Checkout was an absolute nightmare. There were a number of self-checkouts open, these were not being disinfected between customers, and two...TWO open registers. It took us 24 mins from the time we got in line to the time that our receipt was handed to us.I did check out the new wellness clinic and was very expressed with the staff there. They were really helpful and answered many questions I had.(While we were there I rained and when we left we were treated with a beautiful rainbow. Unfortunately Walmart is NOT the pot of gold I want.)
Conveniently within walking distance of our long term stay lodging near CTCA-ATLANTA. We always save considerably & with careful selection can find wholesome, nutritious ingredients. With my wifes culinary skill, she transforms special recipes into the recommended, health enhancing meals recommended for cancer treatment plan.
Newnan Walmart is horrible. I would not be posting this if this was the first time that we had gone through this, But this seems to be an every day of the week ordeal.Only 7 registers out of 22 were open.There were Approximately 11 shoppers in line at each open register.Shelves are partially stocked.Almost impossible to find anything because of lack of stocked shelves and to top it off when you ask most of employees (Not All) for some help they act like you are committing a crime.
Ive stopped in here many many times throughout the years, due to having to pass through here to get to Atlanta for concerts/races or for traveling required by my job. Its a typical Walmart. Some stops, its stocked and neat, other times it looks like pre-storm shopping when a hurricane is coming. Never had a bad experience with an employee but never had a great one either.However, on a side note, I will say that they have really nice bathrooms in the back that are clean. The water or the drains in the sink stink like mold but the rest of it is about as clean as you get for a big box store.
I think this Walmart is pretty good compared to others. The only thing is I wouldnt shop here for clothes since they are mostly out of season. But other than that they have a huge fishing and home improvement section, sections I havent seen in many walmarts. Their outdoor section is also a nice hidden gem as well.
If you care about your store. Fire Manager Maurice or at least knock him down from manager. Also fire everyone that walked out tonight June 14 Newnan location approx 6:-6:30 automotive walkout and left paying customers literally in the dark (turned off lights on them) in the automotive. Incompetent.
TERRIBLY HORRIBLE AT ELECTRONIC SECTION.MANAGER ALWAYS TAKES KEYS HOME WITH THEM.So when customers need to buy cases, bluetooth headsets, speakers, etc. THEY CANT. AND WONT BE ABLE TO MAKE THE SALE WITHOUT THE KEYS.I came from Columbus ga, going to the airport, and waited FOR OVER 2 hrs for someone to COME WITH THE KEYS.THATS RIDICULOUS.2 weeks later, i come back to the states and come back to the SAME
This Walmart has to have the most racist management in Georgia! Black and white management is complete trash and disrespectful, you cant come in here without getting profiled depending on who you are or who youre with. Tashika, Katrina, Davious in management are ones I seen by name tags. They hire a bunch of people who dont love their job and just jive with others and be on social media all day. No wonder ptc location prospers.
Ive been to the Newnan Walmart store on numerous occasions for a refund from third party vendors, that Ive ordered from off Walmart.com. Each time Ive gone to the Customer Service Dept, Ive been informed I need to drive to the Peachtree City store instead. Due to the Newnan Walmarts mailing label machine not functioning!! Theres NO sign indicating this function is NOT working and its been out of order for YEARS!! This is a complete INCONVENIENCE to ALL of your customers!! This ISSUE shouldve been corrected by now!! Smh
I mean what can you expect it is Walmart they do have the lowest prices for many things but you cant expect the employees to be perfect because 80% of the employees at Walmart still have to get Medicaid or food stamps to make up for their lack of pay and benefits.. yeah just research this on Google
Hire some employees to check people out! When you have to empty a cart, scan items, bag items and then put them back in the cart, there is way to much time took off you baby and/or small children! They are trying to make sure your child/children are kidnapped or fall out the carts!
I went to Walmart Deli on 10/15/20 and a older white lady is cutting meats and cheeses for customers with her NOSE exposed. She has contaminated the meats, cheeses. the 4 slicers, and she has contaminated the insides of the deli coolers with her COVID. I did not feel right purchasing the meat and cheese so I left the deli meat and cheese in an end cap cooler. People do not buy items from the deli if you see the deli staff only covering their mouth with the mask.
I know that it is a pandemic of a large proportion that is keeping a lot of Americans from taking jobs in certain sectors of the job market. But Walmart if you are not paying the type of money in certain departments in your stores then you should close that department down. On 12/22/2021 I was at the Walmart in Newnan Georgia trying to turn in a battery core but when I got there that was no one working the automotive desk Department so I began to shout is there anyone working in this department when a worker showed up. She was very helpful but she had little knowledge of that department so she had to go out on to work floor automotive department and get someone to help her take the battery core. Before all this happened I waited 10 minutes but thats when I began to shout now dont know how much you guys are paying people to run them the apartments but it cant be that much because if it was it probably would have somebody there you are one of the highest employer in the United States all the world but pay I dont know but this is the reason I giving you are at store automotive department two stars. I know I am only one person out of millions a shoppers that come to your store or stores but I hope this will help a little bit improving your service in the automotive department thank you.
Dont try calling Newnan Walmart for any reason. I called multiple times calling for a 50min period. I call any and everything department and the phone just rings. I walked inside stood in front of customer service and watched them walk back in front without even trying to answer the phone. Let me guess theyll probably blame covid because they werent busy. Im a truck driver and was trying to get assist with truck parking I see Walmart offers.
The worst Walmart I’ve been to as far as selection of goods and management. Not just recently but over the years service has been awful . No one ever answers the phone. I truly believe they turn the ringer off because the only time someone answered the phone was when they were trying to dial out. If you have an issue and need management you’re on your own. I’ve contacted customer service weeks ago (multiple times) for an issue and was told management would be in contact with me. They have never contacted me. I’ve had to file a dispute with the BBB and now finally my credit card company. My grocery deliveries would never arrive but I was still charged or there would be missing items. I go to the PTC location now. Zero stars for Newnan :( ☹️
It’s all good when you have a buggy full of groceries & when I check myself out, the card reader never takes my card & then they have to void my transaction & move me to the long line in customer service with only one cashier just to swipe my card again & it works there. SMH.
Only one register open at a peak time! Line for self check out was almost to back if store on both sides...smhUpdate to original post that I only gave one ☆:Paying monthly for Walmart+ is well worth the money! Grab bags when you walk in or bring your reusable bags with you. Scan and Go allows you to scan the barcode of your products as you walk through and shop. I put everything in a bag after I scan it so I know I didnt forget. When youre done, click pay and get to a self checkout lane. A QR scanner pops up on your phone and you just scan the registers QR, then confirm and pay. Just walk out the door and your app has a digital receipt if needed! Walmart is so crowded and this keeps my anxiety level a little bit lower.
4pm Shelves are picked nearly clean in places. Stockers have gone home so, if its in the back or on a top shelf...they wont help you. One person said Im just a picker...I cant help or call someone to assist you. So, I went to customer service. I have been helped by this lady twice and both times shes been efficient - at making it not her problem. Someone needs to coach the customer service employees on the definition of customer service. Wont look up if they have the product Im looking for. Wont point me to where it would be if they had it. Couldnt wait to get me to move anywhere but her queue. Wouldnt call someone to assist me. Do yourself a favor...go anywhere but here if you want to find what you are looking for or want friendly service!
This Walmart needs help. My visit was Saturday at 4pm. Customers have to go into the parking lot to get their own shopping carts. The grocery isles had pallets of merchandise limiting traffic, customers were expected to get out of the employees way. Why are we not stocking the shelves overnight? Where is management?
I found most of what I was shopping for. Why are things stocked to the very back of the top shelves? The average person will not be able to reach those items, and I really cant at 5ft1!... anyway... Extremely crowded as usual, but thats typical on a Saturday morning...... UPDATED REVIEW: I now mostly use online ordering and pickup, unless I need meat or produce.... I love it!... I dont have to fight to get to a top shelf, lol. I also like their substitution process is they are out of something! Kudos to improving their processes since online ordering and pickup began!
One star is honestly more then what they should get, the majority of the staff is dismissive, or plain rude, every time I have spoken with the service desk its always an argument, the floor associates are not helpful at all except maybe one or two for the whole store, very disappointing and now I drive out of my way to go to stores further away just to avoid the nonsense
Inside is fine. Nothing bad there. It I would not recommend doing pick up at all. Every time, there is such a long wait. I stop here passing through. This last time I waited an hour and a half! Not exaggerating at all..we had already waited 30 minutes, so we figured we would continue to wait. But I’ll never do it again.
Your employee, Glenda T. S.(I dont want to use her whole name)is excellent. Her professional customer service is refreshing. Twice when I have been unable to find something, she will not only tell me where to find it; but, she has actually gone to get it for me. I have not found this to be the case with a few of your employees. Thank you, Glenda.
One of the few Walmarts I have ever been in that the associates were pleasant polite the people treated you with respect the other customers may not but the Walmart associates did a really good job and the cashier that we had was an absolute sweetheart I was just amazed that we were even in a Walmart
What a joke of a store. I waited in a long line to use self checkout to pay for 3 items. I scanned all 3 items and was about to pay. Then the “customer NO- Service” agent come up from behind and proceeds to I unscan my 3 items. She said she had to reprint a receipt for another customer. I could have paid for my purchase faster than her to do what she was doing.I walked away without the 3 items that I already scanned. Walmart will not get another $ of my money.
I like shopping at Walmart, I usually find everything I need. But it would be nice if they had some size 5x clothing for the bigger women. I like to buy things for my sister and send them to her but you never have the right size. Sometimes she can wear 4X but a lot of times in the pants size she needs a 5X. When she cant find that size it makes her feel bad. Nobody should have to feel bad.
The worst visit I’ve ever had at this Walmart. If an item is listed as available in this store on your website it should be able to be found. Your hair care aisle was half empty- Everything I was looking for that was listed as available in store wasn’t there. Then I was ignored by several employees when I asked for help to find things, when one did finally help me their response was “well it’s obviously not on the shelf so we don’t have it.” The attitude and lack of actual help was ridiculous.
The pharmacy team was exceptional today. One staff member called to let me know that it was time to refill my prescription. I agreed to have it filled. Mike (the pharmacy manager) checked me out and was awesome and pleasant as usual. I love the way they take care of me!!! 💞😊
Never thought much about this chain of hotels. In a pinch, I needed something close and cheap. The room was alot nicer then I expected. Very clean. Housekeeping checks to see if you need anything and the front desk clerks were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I were to come back to this area of Georgia!
I give one star because its the only way I can write a review. I waited 1 hour in line. They were not that busy but ALL the cash registers were CLOSED. Self service and 4 cashiers. The cashier that charged me was completely exhausted. She couldnt even lift her head to breath. 2 floor managers were walking around pretending to care. While the cashier was burning out and the customers were wasting their valuable time. Horrible experience!
The people working in the money center are complete idiots and when I checked out the cashier was like 80 and it took her 15 minutes to checkout about that many items. Not to mention, when there is police monitor the self checkout, youre shopping in the wrong area. Shameful. Enough said.
Love this place they almost always have what I need and always at a good price. I love how easy it is to bring something back if you dont like it or if something is wrong with it, always friendly fast service. Hate to say it but I love the new self checkouts they make checking out so much easier for me. I love the way Walmart helps out in the communities they are in as well. Overall I just love Walmart.
Customer service is lacking severely! The parking lot is congested and dirty. Vagrants walk around and can be regularly found sleeping on the sidewalks at and near the store. Theft occurs more than it should along with fights. If youre wanting to shop at this particular store, Peachtree City is only a few miles away and worth the extra travel time.
Hello everyoneIf you are going to pick up area to get your items call first!! .They will text you to say your item is ready only to have you wait 2 hours . The young man was doing his best. I asked him if they were short staffed he replied yes. I called to speak with a manager and told him they should be ashamed of themselves , letting this young man work like a dog by his self to serve at least 15 people or more there was a long line. I also called corporate to express my concerns , they very helpful. Some people would sayI just go inside but I waited so I can have the experience of pick up to write this review. From now on I will be going inside to shop for my own items until their system is better.O not to mention all of my products were not available they said they were out of stock. Ughhhhhhhhh. I absolutely despise going to this Walmart. Since they only ever have self checkout open, the lines are ridiculous.I can never find what I need available either. The curbside pick up is a joke. Ill put in for a time, show up a little early and still wait over an hour to get my order.
Two things I hate about this location. 1. Parking layout is terrible. The spots are at an angle. Im always at the wrong end to enter a lane with a good spot and people often do a terrible job of parking at this angle. 2. They never have anywhere near enough cashiers. The lines are always 6 people deep. The self checkout has a longer line and are small. You want me to check myself out? Fine. But give me enough space to pull everything out of my cart.
This store is clean and the associates are visible, pleasant & most helpful. The check out was quick enough. Two complaints: need to have more items to choose from in pet section for cats. I have to shop in other stores for my cats food, litter, toys, etc..The plastic bags do not support the weight of grocery items and other items with any at.
My husband and I shop every two weeks at the Walmart Super Center in Newnan. Normally, we can find everything we need for ourselves as well as our daughter who attends college in downtown Atlanta.The prices overall are reasonable, however, beef as well as some other items prices have increased dramatically.Having a relationship with Jesus Christ means everything to us, especially, now with food costs increasing. We trust God for all of our needs and continually will do so.
Very overcrowded store; however, they have packed it with tons of nonsensical non-essentials. No manned check outs. Employees are not available to help the folks who are incapable of using a self scan. For goodness sake, six people in a row were thrown off by the charity solicitation at the end.Clear the aisles and put in a staff to assist your throngs of customers. It is worth the drive to go to another store.
The Walmart Supercenter in Newnan is not my favorite location. Its sad to see this location employs a local sheriff to monitor the store. The parking lot is under some sort of construction, so finding parking is rather difficult. No one asks if you need help as you walk through the clothing departments. I suppose old-fashioned customer service is a thing of the past.
On this particular day I went to this Wal-Mart on Newnan, GA, right before I was headed to work, the cashier actually called the lead cashiers (supervisor) so I wouldnt pay for anything with my phone, but everyone else could & Im sitting there looking at them do so!! Which was the most ridiculous & discriminating thing I have ever been through in my life! All because of my skin color, I couldnt believe it , while walking out of the parking lot seen several Newnan Police entering the Wal-Mart parking lot! I couldnt believe it! I was in fear of my life & thinking God I got left when I did! You would never imagine the feeling of that!! Never!!
Ive been here numerous times. Yet this visit was very different. I went to the money center only to find it not open. Fair enough, yet when I was informed to go to customer service, the line was as long as the day after Christmas with all the returns that people have. The kick in the head is they only had one customer service person.I will return and try again.
I was impressed with the speed and the efficiency of the associate working in the money center.Although there was atleast 5 people in front of me, the cashier kept the line moving steadily. Within 10 minutes my transaction was complete and I was on my way. She was very polite and extremely friendly. A perfect example of the personality and attitude that each employee should have when interacting with the customers.
We have used this locations grocery pickup services for nearly a year. Here recently they seem to be completely incompetent on how to load groceries into a buggy & bring it to you vehicle within an hour. We took a break from using them for a few weeks & decided to give them another go. To our surprise they made us and multiple others wait OVER an hour for our groceries until I finally had enough (after calling 4 times & getting no answer) and went inside to get our groceries. Inside the MANAGER decided she didn’t like me doing her job (do your job if you don’t want someone else doing it) and told me “oh I’ll make sure you never get your order filled again” These people want $15 an hour but can’t bring groceries out to cars within one hour? Absolutely horrible service & attitudes here. Never again. Miss manager is lucky I didn’t get her name! You can go in & get your own groceries 3 times over in the amount of time these idiots take to realize what they are supposed to be doing.
I only give them 3 stars because of the handicap parking spots! No matter what time I go there, it is ALWAYS Very Hard to find an open spot. Therefore, I usually have to park at least 10-12+ spots down an aisle thats really too far away from the doors for my spinal conditions. It is very hard on my back & legs to walk that far PLUS do all my shopping?! Several times I had felt so exhausted that if it wasnt for the buggy, I wouldve fallen &/or passed out.Then I also occasionally see cars w/handicap decals parked on the striped spots, near the handicap spots, which obviously means No Parking. Right?? I dont understand How or If those people get away w/breaking the law! Me, on the other hand, do not want to take that chance of receiving a ticket. However, I just end up having to suffer it out.Please Please Please ADD MORE HANDICAP SPOTS!!!Id greatly appreciate your understanding & cooperation.
Its WalMart..Not Neiman Marcus,Home Depot or Publix combined.This story caters to large numbers of people and often restocking is not complete .Be prepared to step over and around boxes or redirect your intended aisle search for places just to get through.Its frustrating for employees and customers.The store is harder to navigate in the evening because of stocking and floor cleaning.The crowds during the day keep me away from that time period.I cant speak for the masses but the reasons I go to Wal Mart are not complex.It is one stop shopping half of the time.Their prices are slightly better but they have gone up.Most of the time if I have an issue , they take care of it.For example.I was there this week .It was closing time and nobody was ( clerk) was there in the self checkout.When I went to pay, the machine was out of receipt tape.It was just past closing but I wanted to let someone know.I had only food items and wasnt too concerned Id be returning.I mentioned it to a near by cashier who offered to get me a new one.I decided to go without.In my way out the manager asked me if I needed something? I briefly explained the situation and said I would be fine without.He said are u sure? I said its fine..So Im loading my car and out comes the manager to my vehicle and gives me my printed receipt. I thought that was pretty cool.It was past closing and Im sure this man was ready to call it a night?I felt his actions were courteous and professional. I sincerelyappreciated the effort he made.In closing, nowdays I think its important to recognize we are all learning a new : normal.The stores too, are trying to adjust to Covids influence on their establishment.Its hard to be patient when u need something.But its that even a little patience goes a long way.
I have to say, I visit Walmart Atlanta two to three times per week.Not a truly avid cook, by any means, yet I love the bakery, the access to every possible product and choices to compare among the products among themselves.The store is always changing for the better.For example, the vision care center alone. My favorite staff members that represent the vision have become apart of my family.I know at times their May not be enough registers open but I blame that on corporate and their inability to recognize the amazing staff.
Rude cashiers, to say the least!! Four of five standing around in front of check out lines, lines backed up, one person at customer service counter, money center closed..it was not even 5pm yet! When I asked a cashier how I could get help with picking up cash; since money center was closed and customer service told me she was not doing any of that stuff, she told me find another walmart!! Rather than slap her smart @$%, I just walked away from my cart and left the store!!! I will not go back to that store!!
The store was okay, my daughter was there to get a pickup she ordered online, online they told her the order was on hold after three or four days. When we got to the store my daughter want to speak to a supervisor concerning her pickup order, she was told she had to call customer service. There was an associate that went to get her pickup order. When he came back he had only three rice milk and a box of pullups, however she order five rice milk, they only had three on the shelf. She took what they had and was refunded for the other two. The associate was very helpful. The pickup department need a little more work in having customers orders ready for pickup. The people that are working seem like theyre in motion or program doing a job however not happy with their job. At least they could smile.
I had a question in the garden area.I didnt see any employees from garden to the check out line.I told the guy at customer service. His response was to shrug his shoulders.Customer service does not exist at Walmart in Newnan.I will never set foot in you store again.Explain why thats the case
For starters Walmarts a great place it’s the customer service. They never have enough lines open, but they want to have somebody staying in and watching over self check out and have somebody at the door checking receipts the same time. They could also keep the shelves better stocked and neater.

Felt like I was in a breeding ground for COVID, as I was one of maybe 10% of individuals wearing a mask. A mask is a small measure to require of individuals during a raging pandemic that could have been prevented and has continued far too long. Everyone has to be required to wear a mask, not just the unvaccinated. The unvaccinated ones are likely individuals who have little regard for fellow humans and will see such a requirement as easily avoidable since no one will know upon sight that they’re not vaccinated.
They got no cashiers just self checkout theyre almost out of stock of everything and a female kate nite stocker tried to have me thrown out after they closed when I informed her that I was helping my gf look for her lost purse she insisted I leave then got on her personal phone called someone and began to follow me all around, this wasnt security or a manager this was a 40 something yr old stock girl. She didnt care anything about a paying customers wallet she obviously thought she was some kind of security where was she at when the wallet went missing. Never did find the wallet or recieve any kind of help from any employee of walmart
I have come to consider Walmart a must be in my life.Although I am a great supporter of the smaller mom and pop establishments that have created and maintained this great country, I am also beginning to see that same quality defined in a completely different meaning.Walmart, in my account thus far, creates that mom and pop support by hiring staff members who are in fact head of households. Moms and pops to families; if you will.Now, rather or not the benefits for these employees are as perfect as they should be, I am not certain. The Newnan store, if it wasnt enough with the lack of inventory, is in complete disarray for yet another remodeling. Very hard to find what inventory exists. The parking lot is a fenced off construction site. I am taking my business to Peachtree City. Look out golf carts! Here I come!
Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. Tried 2 different departments for 10-15 minutes, no luck.Update: been calling for the past hour or more, no answer. Based on the backorder issue of the item Im looking for, Im not going to the store just to find out its not in stock. Sure would be nice if you could get the answers you need over the phone. This place is pathetic. From not answering their phones, to the asinine checkout lines/availability, this place is a joke. The managers should do their job and manage.
Great selection but, where are the cashiers? And no, it isnt Covid caused. This Walmart has never had more then 2 MAYBE 3 actual human beings behind a register for as long as I can remember. Forcing the masses into self checkout that takes forever because there are some who do know how to operate it or wish to learn. Do better Walmart, more cashiers.
If you call they might answer or pick up and hang up on you. They shut down the registers 30 minutes early they also switch self check out over to card only so if you only have cash your screwed. Some employees need to strongly work on their people skills and not be so rude.
Crowded and slow at the Scan Your Own Item. Its not all that hard and you should NOT have a cart full of groceries to check out, the signs fully identify quantity of items in each lane. Learn to read and go faster, those of us who can do that have somewhere else to be!
As Walmart stores go, this one could stand some improvement. After my pharmacy pickup, which thanks to pharmacy manager John and pharmacy tech Gabrielle was friendly and expedient, I needed to look for an item. Product found I headed over to self service checkout. One of the four kiosks was down with the line stretching all the way to the toy department. The lions share of the standard checkout lanes were closed, with the self service kiosks on the opposite end of the store even longer than the other. No one was manning the satellite kiosks in the various departments, ( jewelry - gardening ) so I was right back to the kiosk line for a lengthy wait. The employee standing there should have made the effort to ring out some of the customers, considering she could see the long line. That was a non-starter. This store management needs to heed the the eleventh commandment; thou shalt provide the customer with a swift and easy checkout. The number one complaint identified by independent research. Newnan location, please do better. 👎🏾
Newnan GA Walmart shopping center is great to visit. It is clean, well stocked and friendly staff.I dont know why there is so much difference in the walmart stores I visit close to Atlanta or the Walmart stores like Newnan GA that is located about an hour away from Atlanta GA.Its worth the trip because Newnan is very nice to visit and Its like the store products like bread, vegetables and meat are more fresh. Maybe I imagine this because overall the Newnan Walmart is clean and a pleasure to shop.
Wal Mart in Newnan is a large store but cares nothing about their customers. They only had 2 lines open for self check out and they were quite long. I had one item so I put it at the end of one of the line area. Why have 20. Cashier lanes with none open in middle of day.
This is a very nice Walmart Supercenter. The one near me is not as good as this one. I was able to find new and exciting items that are not offered at the location nearest me. The store was very clean and the employees were very helpful. If you are in the area check out this Walmart and see how it compares to your local Walmart
Literally every time I try to use their pickup option they have an issue with my order. Also, usually they have a substitution for items missing, but somehow don’t have any substitute chicken breast or ground beef. Also the morale of the employees working that department is so low. I feel so bad! Fix the issue Walmart!

2022-05-19Newnan ga found sale on fans took 6 left 5 and they refused to sell me them at the price that was posted above them. Insulted me by saying someone misplaced them. And offered me 10.%off !!Would not admit maybe he made a mistake and honor the 8.48 price . Can see they were aced on end cap near fans. Meanwhile workers are passing hidden clothing sale items to each other. I walked that clothing section ,if there was dollar clothes I would of found them too.Dog food prices jumped 60% ole Roy dog food which now will cost me 180.00 more a month on dog can food alone.I can go on but that was just 1 trip yesterday. Walmart customer service gets no stars in my book.

2021-10-01If I could give it a minus I would. The clothing items are out of season. There were only 8 self checkout lines open and the lines were backed up all the way to the freezer aisles. There are at least 100 employees but they are all stocking. Ridiculous.

2022-02-23This store is huge and well stocked. Thank goodness for self checkout! :) The fruits and vegetables are always beautiful and fresh! The store is clean and nice. I really like it that the tiles were pulled, and the cement floors shine! :)

2022-06-06Still needs operating changes. All self checkout are open, yet most do not accept cash. One , maybe two regular check-outs open these lines each have more than enough customers to justify opening more lanes. Doesnt happen. And prices on products are usually higher that whats on them.

2022-02-22They have a lot to choose from however stuff is not happy. Can never find someone willing to help. Mostly self checkout. Will have 3 employees working self checkout area instead of opening a register. Store is clean and restrooms usually clean. Organized overall.

2022-05-31That was the most chaotic Walmart Ive ever been in - the music was so loud I couldnt hear what was being said to me, every middle isle was completely blocked so you had to go halfway down the store to get around to the other side, and there was no room to move at all. I understand that workers are frustrated and having bad days, but I smiled and was as friendly as I could be when asking for help at the self checkout but I was glared at in return and not even spoken to. I thanked them for helping me (I accidently scanned something twice) but they just walked off and still said nothing. They did their job but I felt open hostility for even being in the building. I hope whatever is going on in there gets better for them!

2022-06-02Cant get anyone to answer the phone. Doesnt matter what extention I click. No one answers. Whats the point in having employees if no one is going to do their job. Cant even get a basic question answered without having to go there and then hunt an employee down since you cant ever find them in the actual store too.

2022-06-22This is the WORST Walmart I’ve ever been in! The store is ALWAYS a mess! I could forgive the mess during a remodeling of the store. But it’s even worse now! I stopped in just to get some t-shirts bc it’s 100 degrees outside! And there was nothing! Whole aisles of absolutely nothing! No socks/ No underwear/ No T-shirts of any kind! The Management in this store should be ashamed! They should take more pride in ther store than what they show the customers.
