This place is loaded! Make sure to bring plenty of money cause this stuff is high...and today while waiting on crabs had to wait awhile...So Call ahead...I mean all kinds of meats...people coming and going..so if you dont mind the wait. Its the place to go...
Very clean and well organized. Although I seen some expired gizzards that was green ewwww. Also was some meat behind the glass that did not look good at all as if it had been sitting out in the elementd for hours causing the product to begin to dry out and turn colorsAll in all a very nice store to shop.

Me and my hubby stopped in yesterday to have some lunch, it was our first time eating here because we wanted to see what everyone was talking about, lol! And boy were we in for a treat😁 I had the philly cheese steak sub w/fries and the philly had REAL steak meat, and it wasnt just any ol meat, this was melt in your mouth tender goodness 😋😍. The fries were perfectly seasoned. My husband had smoked bbq ribs and smoked pulled pork meat w/ rice and green beans. Both meats had the smokiness and tenderness to it. So juicy and delicious😍. Our food was cooked to order and hottt. You will get what you pay for, believe me! You wont be dissapointed! I love this place, this will be my go to place for philly cheese steaks from now on. If your looking for delicious, smack ya mama taste so good barbecue/etc. Then you definitely need to come here!Update 6/9/18:We bought thier special on crabs: $10/a dozen. So we end up purchasing 3 dozen of crabs. They were so delicious 😍... When they have crab specials please dont hesitate to jump on them! If your a crab fan, then I say go for it 😁
I got a Miami sandwich 🥪 it came with fries ..This is the biggest most tastiest meal you will have in this area !!!! Hands down. You will have to take a nap 😴 after 😬😁lol
Everyone working in the back was super sweet but the customer service from one lady working the checkout counter was extremely rude and sounded very frustrated by having to do her job. If you can’t be kind working with the public you probably shouldn’t.
Worst customer service ever!!! From the time my husband walked in to the order counter EVERY employee was rude & nasty to my husband!! We were faithful customers from 2017 to 2020, came back to visit only to be treated like garbage!!!!! TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE PEOPLE NOT LIKE GARBAGE BECAUSE YAHUAH (GOD) SEES EVERYTHING
First time trying this place out. The food is a bit pricey, but it was good. We didnt have a long wait time so that was also a plus. I ordered the fried jumbo shrimp. It wasnt the best, but it was something different.

I love this place, staff is friendly and super helpful. The quality of the cuts is just top notch. This place a was beacon of light during the pandemic. I often go for the hot food they offer, good portions at a fair price. I cant recommend the Miami Dade enough its mouthwatering.

Growing up in NYC the food they make here would put a lot of restaurants there to shame. The Cuban here is the best bang for buck. You get a lot of tasty food for the price you pay and dont feel bad if you cant finish it in one sitting. The customer service is also a plus here. Most the employees you can tell put 110% making sure customer satisfaction is met. You can tell the community loves this place.This place gets really busy I feel management fails to put people in the right place or hire enough people. One person will running the buffet line that has 9 people waiting while 2-3 running the register with only 2 or 3 people waiting. If you dont mind ordering over the phone do that. Because you can wait 10 mins on a line during lunch hours.

Food is always on point highly recommend the Cuban, the prices, I always try to catch the deals he always has something going on , sometimes the price can seem a little steep just remember your paying for butcher quality meat not processed at a plant then sent to a store to be packaged....Love seeing local small business success !!!!!!
Customer service must not be a requirement to work here. They charge what they want if the price isn’t posted. I’ll most certainly will travel a little further from now on.
Looking for a meat market in hinesville, you definately landed in the right place.They blessed me with Fresh exotic meats, alligator, (delish) by the way, oxtail, u name it they got it, if they dont have it they go get it the whole 9 yards. In general, this was my go to. Meat prices are on the rise everywhere. That said, great service, clean establishment. Friendly.In all honesty though, IF you can go to Jessup, theres better prices even now.However, this meat market hands down awesome. I havent had their cooked food YET, but I will be as it smells and looks absolutely fantastic. Those that have had it tell me to try it all the time.Just for my very large family (9) it gets very pricy.
Decided to drive from the next county over to try some of their seafood for supper and we were not disappointed. We received enough for two people on each plate and it was all delicious!! We will definitely be back!
The butcher I talked to was very attentive and cut a custom piece of meat for me. He was super nice and chatted with me about his experience of New York City.This meat market is 40 minutes away from my house, but if I ever need that custom cut again, I will be sure to return!
I walked through the door and was greeted by everyone that worked there. When I mentioned that I was new everything was explained to me and recommendations were made by the other customers, which was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered just brisket, and although it was VERY expensive for just over two pounds, it was so delicious that it didnt even need any sauce. Probably some of the best brisket Ive had. Worth the money but it is definitely something Ill have to use as a treat. The only bad thing was that they did not have a military discount to be so close to Ft. Stewart.

I purchased some shrimp and the cashier asked, cash, card, or Ebt? Im a black woman. I told her card. White male was behind me. When my transaction was complete I waited nearby yo see if she asked all customers what she asked me. She didnt. Guess the possibility of EBT is only for black women.

The staff was nice and polite to me. I ordered bbq chicken and rib plate with rice and Mac and cheese. The food was hot and full of flavor. The food quantity matches the quality. The serving sizes are more than generous for the price. I recommend stopping by and grabbing a plate during lunch.
They have so many varieties of fresh meats and I love the cooked meals. Everyone there is so nice and helpful.
Snow crab legs tasted old and reheated..... however the fried lobster tail and shrimp I will definitely get again and recommend. (Seasoning is amazing)!

Amazing place just wen there the other day. They have great meat great prices. They were clean and super friendly. We walked in and he said tell me how much money you are looking to spend and what you want and Ill make it happen. 10/10 would recommend and definitely will be going back!
I ordered from Walthourville Meat Market from Door Dash, due to the reviews. The prices were way overpriced, but I decided to give it a try. It’s hard to find restaurants to deliver to Ludowici. The portions were ridiculously large, and the food was sadly disappointing. I will not be ordering from here again.
Great food, we had shrimp tacos , they were excellent, the Cuban was toasted and full of 3 different kinds of pork
Ordered the shrimp and crab boil. So yummy! Only issue is food took almost 2 hours and they never called me back to tell me that food was ready for pick up.
Stopped in to buy some fresh meat and picked up the BBQ beef brisket with beef beans and Mac n cheese; and was glad I did. They have fantastic food and a polite and agreeable staff.The meat costs what fresh meat should cost. I can’t say how many times we ended up with bad meat from the Neighborhood Market that we had to throw away.
I changed my rating to 5 stars. They are a little pricey, but they will hand trim any meat they have to your specifications. And the beef bones are fantastic for broth, or for your dogs to chew on.
I love this place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The prices are great. I like to support local business whenever possible. I would much rather come here than give my money to Walmart for something much less fresh.

I saw the road sign, and thought I would try this place. The people were so nice, and the plate was so full I was stunned. As I went to pay, I asked who owned this place, and the lady told me it was her and her husband. She was very helpful and nice. Oh, and later, the food was excellent. I will go back.

Ron Deleon and his family do a outstanding job making sure our community is kept up on the best meats and prices, he also make sure we do not run out of our essential items that we need in this pandemic, thank you Ron for also keep my tasty souse meat in stock cause you know I have to get it at least twice a week lol.

I only have one star cause the man was friendly. But the store had a odor and against my better judgement i still purchased a meat package. BAD IDEA! Got home 10 minutes after purchasing went to clean and put meats away open the packages and everything smelled horrible. They barely had anything in stock. Chicken drums didnt smell funky so i cleaned and cooked them. Wrong they had us sick. Please dont but anything from here except the shrimp. Shrimp was the only thing that wasnt bad. Over a hundred dollars down the drain.

I have called over the course of 15 mins. The phone was busy called back the phone rings then you can tell someone picks up the phone and hangs up. I call right back and it’s a busy signal. I want to call before I come from Jesup but oh well guess I will try another place

I visited it by mistake. It was busy but was waited on quickly. Going back again this week to look around and buy more.
Uhaul scam. I filled it up to 1/4 tank where it was supposed to be when i dropped it off but they lied and said it wasnt. They proceeded to fill the entire tank up and charged it to my card along with other “service fees” for them to drive the truck accross the street to fill it up. It ended up being hundreds of dollars charged to my card. Then a week later that card was fraudulently used on ebay. When I signed up for the uhaul they wrote my card number down on a sheet of printer paper in front of me. Ghetto place with ghetto people equal ghetto service.
Abosolutley love going to walthourville meat market!!!! Even if it is for just a delicious Cuban, I still walk out with meat to smoke on my own. Generally always have the best cuts of meats at a great price. Walthourville meat market is one of my go to spots for meat and ready made food. Also give their rice a try, always delicious.
Bought 2 Boston butts and 3 racks of ribs and all were spoiled upon opening...make youre own decision but we wont be back!

When visiting Ft. Stewart on business it is always a required stop at Chubbys. Imagine our disappointment upon hearing it wasnt there anymore. But wait! Not to fear, go to Walthourville Meat Market. I did just yesterday and walked out with the beef brisket w/two side combo. Yup, heaven again. Brisket done right, I never put sauce on my brisket, but their sweet sauce is excellent on it. Tons of food!

Place is hit or miss. I did get some rotten babybacks but they took them back and I got the steaks. now Im reviewing while having diarrhea. so prob not going back. people were nice though.
Will never patron again. Just went there with my girlfriend for lunch. Ordered two burgers from the obese man in the back with poor hygiene (disgusting dirt under long fingernails and a generally unkempt appearance). Told the man no mustard or mayo on one, the other was to be plain with only meat and cheese. While I was telling the man this, he maintained a generally blank look and walked away to make the food. After and exorbitantly long period of time our burgers finally came both covered with mustard and mayo and very overcooked. When the filthy man inquired as to how the burgers were, I told him that I would not be able to eat mine because of a food allergy that i suffer from and that the other burger was absolutely not what we had ordered. Instead of offering to rectify the situation in any way, he merely walked away. Worst $21 pair of burgers I have ever had to stare at and not eat. I will adamantly be spreading the word not to patron this establishment that puts out a poor product and cares so little for its customers.
Food is great but be prepared to wait for it. Do recommend to call and order then pick up. Now the meat prices and quality are awesome.
I just moved to Hinesville I don’t care much for the city or food however this place I will forever go to. The food was freshly made and the choices were so abundant I fundraiser know where to start . It’s a little pricey but so good that I bit into it and needed a plate to go . I can’t stress how good it is ..I’ll be eating here AGAIN!

2021-12-27I enjoy the fresh meat variety they have to offer. I love lamb and their Gyros are pretty good. They have an endless menu of food they make and fresh seafood and meat you can receive at a reasonable price. The only downfall I have is some of the food can be better seasoned and maybe more seating areas! It feels good to sit outside the building and eat lunch😊. Staff and everyone that comes in the door is friendly.

2022-03-25All the employees try to do a good job. For some, they really excel. I have been coming here since I was referred about 2 years ago. There are busy times, I feel lucky if I get there during the quieter times. One of our favorite prepared foods is the Cajun shrimp pasta. I visit this Meat Market more than once a month while in Georgia, and stock up.

2022-06-14OMG!!!! This is a must eat places in town. Service is extremely fast if there is no line and food is out of this world. Plates are almost two person servings. (And I can eat a lot) perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. Highest recommendation as a place to eat in town.

2021-08-22Hidden gem in Hinesville, GA. After searching for a sea food place in Hinesville, I came across this meat market, at first I was spectacle but once I tried their sea food boil just wow. The place offers an endless variety of plates rather you’d prefer just shrimp, shrimp and crab, or just crab legs. There most popular boils range from $25-$45. Hubby and I usually buy the $35 boil which includes shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, sausage, and two corn. Upon ordering you take your tab to the front and pay, the cashier then tells you they will give you a call once the food is ready. Food usually takes about 20-40 minutes which is very reasonable and well worth the wait. Food is done and seasoned very well. If you happen to visit Hinesville, or pass by, make a stop at the meat market you won’t regret it!

2022-05-06I got the Beef Birria Tacos with the street corn. IT WAS TERRIBLY SALTY. Like it was my first time trying them because I have been searching for those tacos. I was so happy. It came in a big box the tacos look great. I pick one up it was like biting a sea salt ocean. I feel like they put the adobo on the taco. Because the broth that they cook the beef in they give you a side of that and when you dip the taco in it it wasnt salty it was just a taco itself with salty I even pulled apart some of the meat the meat was in salty but whatever they put on that taco it is extremely salty. I woke up sick this morning. Happened yesterday when I bought them $19 for five tacos.The meat market never ever disappointed me like this.

2022-04-30I frequent this place so much that they know me and my family. I absolutely love all the employees that work there. They always have really good deals on their fresh meat so I keep my freezer stocked, but my favorite is the homemade food at the buffet. I recommend the glazed salmon (when they have it) and the collards - OMG they are so good. The menu changes daily so I find myself stopping by in passing just to see what they have made :) In this small town, I dont know who hasnt been in there yet, but if you havent, I recommend you do a quick drive-by. Surely something will catch your eye. Tell them Melody sent you haha

2021-12-28I have been here for lunches and the food is fantastic. I went tonight for some fresh salmon to grill. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is that the customer service is lacking. Tonight, when I wanted only a pound of fish, the lady with the rows in her hair got annoyed. The butcher said he would do $9.99 a pound if I bought the whole the filet, but it would have gone to waste. The service lady was unfriendly after that. I was going to get some shrimp and crabs, but after the attitude and chaos of trying to get a pound of salmon, rather than four, I was done with the experience. I will use them for pre-orders bit never walk in and deal direct again. She turned what would have been a $100 order into $20 and never smiled the entire time. Very poor customer service. Very good products.
