Before I walked in, I wasn’t too sure. I was hungry and honestly not in the mood for an order that wasn’t what I wanted. BUT LET ME TELL YOU I’m so glad I walked in and ordered because it is the best crispy chicken burger I have tried in Atlanta by far.I visit often, and everytime I come I try new food spots (especially halal) and this place is amazing!! The buffalo crispy chicken burger was seasoned perfectly and not off the top spicy, the oreo milkshake was so good I finished it in a few minutes, and the staff was so welcoming and kind!!!!
I never give bad reviews and my son loves burgers. Not the best very greasey and a friend that was with me got a chocolate milkshake and said it was horrible, he is a milkshake lover, yet said the same about his burger not good. My sons burger and mine sadly not good as well and the onion rings not good. So our Saturday night 1st time eating there. Did not taste good. So had to rate 1. 3 of us agree.
Burgers are 5 stars! Sooo delicious.The biggest reasons for the lower score is that none of the burgers come with sides (which are subpar), but everything is really expensive for a fast-casual place. We easily spent $40 on a pair of burgers and a couple sides. Yikes.Again, burgers- amazing. Everything else you can skip!!
The burger was good. They should toast their buns though. A hot patty fresh off the grill doesnt mean much when you place it on top of cold toppings and cold bread.
I rarely leave negative reviews because I dont see the point in being that way, Id rather just stop going.However, this is the 5th time Ive placed an order and theyve messed it up. The items are literally printed on the receipt and on the order.I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place business as they can not seem to follow directions or even answer the phone once an indication of a customer complaint occurs.Food is average at best assuming its prepared correctly.
The food was spectacular and delicious. I came here from Houston Texas and I loved it. The service was amazing and very welcoming. Definitely coming here again! 😁👍
The food and customer service were both great. The only complaints I have is how long the wait time was, and the location has very limited parking as well! I suggest ordering ahead. Some items are pricey as well, but worth it for the flavor.
Where do I start 🤔! The food is way over priced and not seasoned at all. For two burgers we paid 23.00. The burgers was small and the bacon was rubbery and temperature was cold!! Worst food ever!!
I placed an online burger for a few burgers, fries, and drinks. 1. The parking is ridiculous, it’s in a plaza with a gas station and liquor store, so just imagine that. On one of my burgers I asked for bacon which is $1.50 extra… they barely put bacon on it. & I mean barely! They basically threw all my burgers together however they wanted. Wouldn’t go back
Very dirty. Waited 45 mins for food. The lady cook kept wiping her head with her gloves. Fries and tater totes on counter in clear container. I mean it was so insanitary. The older lady who took orders refused to give us our money back at first. The chicken was undone several people asking When order will be ready. People stating and showing uncooked food. Only two people working. Wont be back. I was patient
I came all the way from houston Texas just to try the famous wayback I’ve heard a lot of great things about it and wanted that yummy experience 😋 I am so satisfied with the food and, service here!! The employees are such amazing and kind people. The food was phenomenal and I can’t wait wait to come back here again !!!
Thought we’d give a new place a try and What a cluster! The guy in front of us questioned the $$ he was charged and was told the posted prices were old. So…, took us a while to even order. That employee walked away after waiting on the guy in front of us, a guy walked up to the register, took off his gloves and then just looked up at us and stood there. No greeting. No nothing. I asked him how he was doing today. No reply. I ordered and now wish I would have just left at that point. Note: The guy in front of us in line went back up to the register again later and questioned her again about the cost of his order…. and then she admitted she had made a mistake. Meanwhile we waited about 30 mins for our food. I then went and stood at the pick up area and after watching two burgers be smashed on the grill a bunch of times as they were being way over cooked…, they put them on the prep table, dressed them and then they sat there getting cold…. Then I noticed they were dressing an impossible burger, which I thought might be mine…, and putting toppings on it that I didn’t order…, and I was right! They made a new one; more time… A guy who ordered about 10 mins AFTER us for his food first! No one acknowledged or apologized for the wait. I would have just asked for a refund and left but didn’t have any more time to waste and needed to eat. The burgers had little taste and were indeed over cooked. The impossible burger was ok; not great. Poor service and food.
I went to wayback burgers for lunch one day and asked for my burger to be made special and they make it all wrong. Not the first time either. They put nothing on my burger. Not even any condiments. I called up and spoke to a manager and after speaking with the cashier she than came back and called me a lier and said they cant do anything for me and hung up. I was than stuck with a burger I didnt order nor did I eat so it was a waste of $15. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. Could been more friendly n helpful
The staff are super friendly and accommodating. They worked with me on allergy friendly alternatives and even made a separate batch of chicken tenders that didnt have onion powder in it.
Sam has awesome customer service was able to place my order still although they were about to close and the food was fresh to order and was not old like most restaurants that give out last minute food. WAYBACK HAS came along way from where it was. I recommend anyone to drop by and Ask for sam...and a CHEESY
The cashier guy was really rude. He doesn’t listen the first time when you give him your order and the order was still wrong . The burger was super messy, there was way too much ketchup and mustard on it that I could scoop it off with a spoon. Which made the bun super soggy. The French frites tasted like they were sitting under a warm lamp for 20 minutes plus they looked over cooked, they were not hot and not worth 2.99.The only best thing there was the sauce for the Cajun tots, that was delicious.Not impressed with this location. Will not go back.Waste of money /time

I am a previous customer where they never opened up on time, I didnt really like the service so I stopped going. Now that they are under new management, they provide EXCEPTIONAL service. Always open on time, provides excellent service. My orders are always accurate when I order from Uber Eats and Doordash. I love the customer service improvements! Now they have a customer for life!

Apparently I showed up an hour early to pick up my food. I asked if they could start the order (like a normal walk-in order) but instead they made me wait an hour while more than 15 people walked in and got their walk in order before me. No communication.

This place is very nice, has the best customer service Ive seen in a long time, the portions for the cost are incredible as well as the taste....oh my god soooooo gooood the style is a whole different atmosphere than any other burger place I think Ive ever been to. This place is awful! They dont listen after you repeat your order over and over. The Philly is awful barely cheese I asked for onions and peppers none on the sandwich at all. I asked for fries 3 times. None was in my bag looked at my receipt it wasnt on there.They were not busy at all. Ill never be back.

I was looking for a good milkshake near Covington, and Wayback Burger has fresh, made to order food and shakes. I enjoyed my meal and shake. Service was fast and friendly. I think I may order ahead next time, just to save some time, but it would be great for a family to dine in too.

First time at Wayback... The customer service was absolutely outstanding! Everyone was friendly, nice, and courteous. The food, was amazing! The BEST burger I have ever put in my mouth! They literally melted in your mouth with flavor and cooked to perfection! The onion rings had an amazing batter on them and cooked perfectly. Wife ordered homemade chips and said they were great as well. Also, indulged in their cookies n cream and Oreo mud pie milkshakes... Reminded of an old school ice cream shop! They were very good. We will definitely be back, only downfall was I wish we would’ve tried this place sooner!

I enjoy this place a lot and actually discovered it on accident. Its a whole in the wall place but had has real meat and real ingredients. All the vegetables and sauces taste authentic and genuine. Highly reccomend this place if you want a real burger. The chicken and special tots they have are also good as well!
Not worth it. We ordered fries, chicken tenders, a burger, a salad and a shake. Fries were so dark; whens the last time that oil was changed? Zero seasoning. Chicken fingers the same way; super dark, no flavor. My burger was passable, but not worth what I paid. The salad was decent, I will say that. The shake? I ordered a specialty shake; it was very small, no whipped cream, nothing, And was pretty much a plain chocolate shake. NOT worth the 4.50 price tag. Overall, I wont return.Flavorless, dark dirty oil, too expensive for what you actually get.
VERY clean restaurant, good burgers and hot food! Can’t ask for Much better!!! They also let us eat in inside, doesn’t sound like a big deal. But with a lot of fast food places not allowing people to sit and eat. It meant a lot that we were able to eat our food while it was still hot. :)

Food was very good. Place was clean. Only thing was one worker was running front counter, cash register, and doing the cooking. Not wearing a hair net. Changed gloves often. Tea was sour and fountain drink was a little flat. But all in all, Ill be back because of the food quality and choices.

My family had a great experience here! All the ingredients are fresh from the beef to the lettuce and tomato and the fries. My wife had the turkey burger that she really liked. Our picky eater son enjoyed the chicken tenders. The staff was very nice and welcoming. It was our first time so they explained things we had questions about and made sure to check on us every once in a while to make sure we had everything we needed. It was very clean in there as well. The only issue I would say was with the parking. It is on a shared lot with a gas station and it is hard to get to the Wayback parking and there isnt much of it. But other than that we had a great experience and we will be back!
The employees appear to be related. They appear to not want to be there. The guy at the cash register did not greet us. We had to prompt him to take our order. The two impossible burgers we ordered were greasy. This place is very overpriced.
I’ve never had an issue with my food when I come here, the crispy chicken sandwich is the best I’ve had in a while, however, the employees are always rude. They always rush me through my order or get an attitude while I’m ordering it’s really weird but the vibe is always negative. I’ve started to eat here less and less.
Super friendly and fast service. Got the rodeo burger(gotta ask for it as its not on the menu), full chili cheese fries and mac and cheese bites and it was AMAZING!!! Will DEFINITELY be coming back to try everything else on the menu!!

I was actually picking up a DoorDash order. Wasnt greeted when I entered. When I walked up to the counter the guy didnt look up or even attempt to see why I was there. After standing there for a few minutes, I finally said something. He still didnt say a word.... He just kept doing what he was doing. I got the order & he just kept walking. Was looking for a good burger. We found this place one Saturday morning while searching Google and decided to try it. The burgers are awesome!! Service was great and the wait wasnt very long, although they are made to order. I gave it 4 stars because the fries were cooked to long and were hard. I ordered the bacon cheese fries and there was very little bacon on them. The prices are kind of high and they dont offer combos. Everything is sold separately. I will visit here again though!

I was looking for a home style burger and I took a chance on this place. I was looking forward to the onion rings and a tasty burger. Well I didnt get what I was looking for. I purchased the classic combo with onion rings. I was given a cup for my drink. The soda flavor was out so it tasted like carbonated water. I informed a worker, Im not sure if it was fixed it not. When I received my meal and began to eat the onion rings.... Was not impressed since it tasted like generic onion rings nothing good about it. So I began to eat my burger... The meat didnt taste like beef at all. I took a couple more bites but couldnt finish the meal, I was just disappointed. By the time I arrived to my house I was sick. I tried but wont do it again.
The service was very friendly. Very clean a neat establishment. The menu has a nice selection they have burgers, sandwiches, melts, etc. I like the decor its old meets modern. The food was made fresh to order. The reason for the 4 star is they are a bit pricey compared to other fast food.
Eaten here a couple times. Food is always good. Decent onion rings and burgers are great too. Food can be a little slow if they are slammed. Very little parking as it shares a building with a liquor store and shares the lot with a Shell gas station.

This place is definitely a top burger joint. Burgers included real meat and anything you request on the burger. Absolutely delicious. Milkshakes are also delicious at this location. They are thing and very flavorful. Nice location right off of the freeway and conveniently located next to a gas station.
Our Burgers were dry and unappetizing. We waited as if they were made to order, however we were beyond underwhelmed. Ultimately the food sucked. And was really pricey.Service was great, hence the 2 stars. Quality service earned that. Restaurant was clean.
Health Department Sanitation Rating 89 - not acceptable! I personally saw staff cooking, but not wearing hair nets. I noted one person preparing food, but not wearing gloves. I witnessed staff out of the kitchen area with gloves still on looking at a cellphone. The kitchen floor was extremely dirty. Otherwise, nice restaurant concept. Cute interior design. Good menu options. A little pricey. I wont return to this location due to low health score.
The overpriced food was fair, (burger was hot and fresh cooked, but bun was extremely cold). The customer service needs attention. I waited several minutes before anyone came to the register to take my order, almost to the point of walking out (and I would have if I wasnt meeting someone there). When she finally arrived, she just stood there (with no greeting), waiting on ME to tell her what I wanted! I have her the benefit of the doubt until my lunch guest noticed the same attitude when she ordered. Parking is confusing and limited. And, definitely not the cleanest place to eat. Probably my last visit.
A truly great burger. It has 5 Guys beat. Delicious and juicy but NOT greasy at all. The service was great. The restaurant is very clean with a good atmosphere. Worth every dime.

Well, the place was empty, never a good sign, but it was about 4 pm. And not many people eat at that time of day, so i gave them the benefit of the doubt. The girl atthe counter seemed distracted, i had to tell her 8 times that i DID want cheese on the burger, but no onions. To their credit, they got it right. The burger was above average, very tasty, with fresh crisp vegetables. The real drawback to this place was the price. I dont mind paying a little extra for top quality, but this wasnt the best place by far, and not worth the money. It was close to $15 for a burger and fries, with a drink. Thats too much. So in summation, staff was mediocre , which is normal for fast food, the wait for the food was a tad long but not too bad, the burger was good, above average, fries were just barely average, the place was clean, and the bathroom was clean, prices were too high. I prolly wont eat there again unless its the only game in town.
This location never goes by the actual time they have posted for closing. I just got there at 5:45 and sign states they close at 6pm. I go in and they refuse to take my order. After just taking the person in front of me order. I will never return here again. Rude and disrespect to say the lease.
The place is clean including the bathroom (which is a deal breaker to me) theres not a lot parking space but I believe the gas station and liquor store are all owned by the same so it doesnt matter where you park. The staff was friendly. They are not cheap I tried the original burger and it was good (not even close other specialty burger places) however I feel the food is a little high in the price for what you are getting.
First of all...the grass needs to be cut! Even though I was alone at the counter, it was as if I was invisible to the two girls behind the counter. The menu is very difficult to read. Placed my order finally...then realized that everyone else in the restaurant is waiting for their food! It took a while. Clerks never said thank you. My fries were unsalted and cold...bad combination! The burger was good, tasted like fresh made, but chopped onions instead of sliced...and way too much mayo. Ketchup packets were covered with sticky old ketchup that had leaked. The main reason I wont go back is the horrible parking!
The Muslim or Pakistani women is rude . There were 4 of us and the burgers although delicious came out one at a time and our 3 milkshakes finally came when we were pretty much done eating. Hopefully theyll get better. The grill person was nice .

I ate here for the first time last week and I must say their burgers are in the range with Five Guys & Steak&Shake.....but Wayback burger joint are a hint better tasting. The ONLY problem I have and the reason I didnt give a 5 🌟 is because their prices are ridiculous and they dont have combos...everything is priced separately. One burger is damn near 8 bucks when that price should be a whole combo with fries and drink included. The owner was talking to me about they use to serve breakfast, but the business was slow so they had to stop. I say reconsider combining your meals for the price and your business will most likely increase. Peoples budget are very rare nowadays.
1. Terrible location. NO parking2. I paid almost $8 for 4 chicken fingers and the fingers were the size of my damn finger for real. And i have small hands. Im like where the hell is the meat?3. The fingers were dry and had absolutely no taste at all. I really wanted to get my money back but i had to get back to work. Terrible terrible place. I would never eat there again. It was a total waste of money and I am highly pissed off for wasting money on that bull.

First time . Had a hotdog, rings and chocolate milkshake. The hot dog tasted like the burgers it was cooked with. The rings were good. The milkshake was so thin , more milk than icecream.
Service was top notch at 6pm on a Saturday. The burger is cooked like and tastes like steak & shake (which I personally dont like - thin, plan fried, and greasy) but zero complaints on service. My wife liked it (though, she loves steak & shake...)
If I could give zero stars I would I walk in the guy is cooking and he turns around looks at the continues to cook a burger then comes over and oh we closed well why was the door open and why are you still making food.

You really dont get what you pay for! If you are looking for a high priced hamburger this is the place. A basic bacon cheeseburger can cost at least $8 add a small drink & fries for an additional $4 + tax. Food quality was ok but the dinning area needs some real attention. Food and service was great. Was disappointed that they didnt do any true value menu pricing and the pricing was a little high for what it was. Nevertheless though the service and the food were great and if Im ever in Georgia again I will definitely go back.
This one specifically just kinda seemed like the workers didnt really care. Food was good, but a guy was sweeping pretty hard and I feel if I were eating there (got it togo) then the debris would have landed in my food. Also it took them like 10 min to get the guys behind me order. It was my first visit.
After ordering I grab a high chair for my daughter and it was covered in ants. All of them were. Then while sitting and waiting on our food my wife sees them drop my food on the floor pick it up and start to put it in a bag with the rest of our food. Ok yeah my burger was wrapped but the fries and chicken tenders already in the bag were in open card board trays so the wrapper that has been on the floor is going to sit on top of everything else? So I stop them and tell them I don’t want the burger that hit the floor. They argued and insisted it was covered but then said “it’s up to you if you want another” of course I did. When that one was ready the guy brings it to the table and slapped down in front of me. Then my kids and wife started finding the hair in our food. Needless to say I won’t be back. Also The health department might need to pop in and check this place out again. Disgusting
I dont live in the area but I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves burgers or hot dogs. The food was amazing and the staff was great, very friendly. Overall just a great experience.
I ordered a mushroom and grilled onion burger and no fries. The service and the food was beyond satisfactory. However my only complaint would be that my onions were chopped instead of freshly grilled. The food is well worth the price.
Last week I had the wonderful opportunity of experiencing the Wayback Burger franchise in Lawrenceville and fell in love with the brand. I live in Stonecrest so when I seen there was a location in Covington I was excited. Traveled eighteen miles thinking I was going to have the same experience I had in Lawrenceville, I was sadly mistaken. Ordered two cheesy burgers and a double bacon as pairs which come with fries and a drink. Upgraded all drinks to milkshakes at $2.49 each and upgraded two fries; one to chili cheese the other to bacon chili. This should be easy because I did the same thing last week in Lawrenceville. Vanilla shake comes out closely resembling a shake chocolate and mocha shakes come out like frappes from McDonald’s. I took them back and requested they be made again and done properly. Second time once again I get frappes and here comes the excuses about why my shakes are coming out loose as if they’ve sat outside for hours. In the meanwhile look in the bag and instead of one order of regular fries, chili cheese fries and an order of bacon cheese fries I have three regular fries. I go back to the counter and I get “oh yeah, you did order different fries”. So you intentionally served me wrong food and thought I was going to leave your establishment after paying my money for what I wanted? Extremely disappointed, takes some lessons from Waymond in Lawrenceville and do better.
I came here at about 230pm on Monday 11/13/2017. Place was clean and the music was enjoyable.Daughter got the tenders kids meal. Served hot. I took a bite and they had a good taste from the bite I tried when she was done.I got the cheesy, substituted cheese to pepper jack. Wasnt too bad. Very cheesy as the name implies.My gf got the rodeo. She said it was good. Reminded her of steak and shake.The only bad thing I can say from my experience is for 2 adult combos and the kid combo, we paid 25 dollars so its expensive when compared to typical fast food chains like McDonalds or Wendys. With that said, the quality of the food was pretty good, better than your typical fast food burger joint in our opinion.Gf said the bathrooms were pretty disgusting, but I didnt go into the mens. So if the owner sees this.. make sure your staff checks the womans bathroom time to time.Try them, but be expected to pay a little bit.
I’ll give it 2 stars because of the name. It’s definitely not as well run as the Wayback in Hinesville, GA. The chicken tenders were burnt like the grease was too hot or it needed to be changed out. The burgers just weren’t as good. I pretty much just ate an overpriced 5 Guys burger.
The food at Wayback Burgers is quite good. it is cooked very well; very flavorful. But I think it is somewhat overpriced. It was three of us and our bill came to $35.01. Personally I think that is too much for a burger joint.
Food was good but they need to work on greeting you when you arrive instead of letting you just stand there wondering if youre going to get served. The homemade potato chips are good but they should give you the dipping sauce for free (at least one) versus charging you for it.
Ordered a Carolina burger and order of full size fries for less than $10. The full size fries was truly like 3 McDonalds large size fries in one. Jimust order a half size fry unless your extremely hungry or sharing hungry or sharing fries. Well worth the money.
I had a great tasting hamburger and shake, just wish that the patty would have covered the bun. The other items on the menu looked very appetizing and hope one opens up near where I live, because I will definitely go back again!
Ive enjoyed the food, but man... The location is crappy to get at. Especially if the gas station it shares a parking lot is packed. And even a simple order of chili cheese fries will keep me waiting almost 20 minutes. Dont try it on a lunch break
It was my first time eating at Wayback Burgers. I had the cheeeesy burger, which is like a combination of a grilled cheese and a hamburger. It was delicious. Tried the house-made chips which were pretty good. I agree with some of the other reviews that the parking is the worst. Otherwise, I will probably return.
Tried this place on a whim. The fries were hard and the burger was mediocre, too pricey for what we ordered. Not pleased at all. Will not return...

My burger was fine but my wife ordered the fish wow I literally sat there and watched it get cold before they even started cooking mine? They really need a timers on the fryer the mac bites were ice cold in the middle . Went there once but wont go twice.
WAY WAY over priced!! I dont see how on earth they have business but it would explain why theres always only one or two people inside. Seats and tables are wiped but not good AT ALL. One meal with a burger fries and drink is $9.50 average. Crazy lol. Youll get a lot more somewhere 2 for 20. Food was decent though.
The service was great and so was the food. I was indecisive, there was so many things on the menu I wanted to try and the cashier was patient and helped to suggest things from the menu. After I made my decision, the Vegan Burger, and receive my food, it was really good.
4-stars but let me explain... Overall, Wayback Burgers IS a great burger joint with awesome burgers and a great menu (I prefer them over Five Guys). The milkshakes are the bomb! In total, Ive been there 3 times. 1st time, my husband and I wanted to stay local and found this gem in our backyard. 2nd time, which was the very next day, we HAD TO HAVE another one of those freakn milkshakes...OMG!! 3rd time, I volunteered to buy groceries to have an excuse to sneak and get a milkshake.Well, this 3rd time was a bit of a shocker since Ive had nothing but a 5-star review for Wayback. I ordered my shake but the person that prepared it was on the cell phone, distracted and disengaged. My milkshake was runny and didnt taste right. My fondest memory is a thick shake and great balance of cookie crunch, which is why I drove 15-minutes out of my way to shop on the other side of town.I went back inside and told the person my shake was runny and had too much milk, welp, as Clark Howard would say, I experienced customer no service...yet again. The person told me they made me a milkshake (thank you Captain Obvious), instead of sincerely apologizing and remaking it. Afterall THEY were on the phone the whole time distracted and messn up my shake. My question is, why is your poor quality and lack of customer connection, my fault??? Lets do better Wayback Burgers on customer service.

This place has wonderful food and could do great with different management. My family visited today and the male and female employee were slouching on the counters while the floor was filthy and there were no clean tables. This place needs a manager in there. Teens cant run a business.
Food is great and plentiful. Parking can be a little tight but it is worth the effort. You won’t come away hungry from here. And they have great varieties of what you can top your fries with, cheese, chili, etc.

Cook went from The register to the grill to scratching his head. Why wear gloves an prepare food when you don’t change them an touch everything. Burger was okay. Service very unprofessional. Person talking on the phone standing at the register, not order related. Three other employees gathered around the milkshake stand next to the register talking. Wasnt sure we would even get waited on. We finally did. Need more leadership.
To my surprise, the website and the restaurant menu shows options for vegetarians but they discontinued that option. I really couldnt eat anything.

They asked me to give them another chance. I was stupid. Horrible service. They do not make everything on menu. They have a breakfast bowl with peppers and onions-- but the server said they do not stock the peppers. They also said it WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO MAKE A MILKSHAKE BEFORE NOON! LOL! So, at 1139 or 1154, they will not make you a milkshake. They will go out of business in the first year- no doubt. Dont even waste your time here.
Me and my 12 year old daughter decided to come to way back burger, and there food was cold it took a hour and a half for it to come out and we only got 2 packs of ketchup when we asked for it they were rude and didn’t say thank you the cashier was on his phone and not paying attention the grill wasnt cleaned.

The same as what youd get at Wendys or McDonalds, only you have to wait twice as long for the food. The employees are slower than the sloths at the DMV. But if you like super greasy burgers and fries with no salt, this is your spot! Ive witnessed several orders being wrong too....
Decent pricing, good food, good service. Needs a bit more attention to spot cleaning, drink station and several tables needed cleaning, our visit was not during a rush, we were the only ones there. Tiny parking area, 4 or 5 spaces. All in all, Id go again.
Tried Wayback Burgers for the first time. Odd location in the parking lot of a gas station. There are very few parking spaces. Few sketchy people hanging around.Hamburger was ok but the Wayback hotdog was great. Also tried milkshake-very good and chilli cheese fries good.
The rodeo burger was really good. It is the gold standard by which i judge all other rodeo burgers and no others have come close as of this post. Ill definitely eat here again if/when in the area again.
I guess if you are a guest at one of the surrounding motels or a trucker stopping to get diesel, you might not mind it. I personally will not go back. My son wanted to take me out to lunch and thought we would try wayback. 2 burgers and 2 drinks were 20 bucks. The burgers werent that good. And we leave only to find that someone from the gas station had backed into my truck. Thankfully not much damage, but we wont go back. Well stick with Mexican for our mother- son lunches.
Its a little expensive, but when I want a good burger, I go there. Its not in a great location. I will never go at night by myself or with young children. It shares a parking lot with a gas station in front of an extended stay hotel. The parking is not ideal.
Great taste, reasonable prices, and excellent service. I am looking forward to finding more restaurantsin this chain. Far better than all the regular burger chains!
I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was Soo good! All the food was fresh, delicious. Right down to the sauce! Awesome fries, great customer service
The food was off tge cgain good. The fries are made from real potatoes. They even ask if you would like salt or not on your fries. Everyone working there are super nice . The service is the BEST .
Food is bangin! Cooked to order right in front of your eyes with a staff that comes out from the counter asking how the good is and if anything is needed. The only thing that irks me is the price on certain menu items but hell Way back is in a great location for those that travel the interstate often

I returned to Wayback for the first time in about 6 months. This visit was much improved. The restaurant was cleaner, the menu changed a bit and the service was faster. Food was delicious as well.

All three of my co workers ate there at lunch made all of us sick 10 dollars for just 1 burger.. we got our orders Togo and they still messed that up twice so overall I would not suggest going or inviting somone to go maybe the night staff is beter and actually dinning in but not satisfied

Great food and friendly service, but the location is horrible. Little to no parking due to sharing a parking space with a busy gas station. If eating in a group I recommend carpooling together.

2022-06-10Very good food made fresh, a little expensive compared to other options, but I feel like its kinda worth it. Meals run about 10 a piece and sides are 4 a piece, the only unforgivable thing was I think the milkshakes are like 5 or 6 dollars? Thats rough because I love milkshakes lol. The sauces are good though, and I feel the business suffers a good bit not having a drive through, and being tucked between a liquor store and a gas station off a major highway, other then any slight nitpicks Id definitely come back here. Next time though Ill order it on the phone for pickup because since they make it fresh it does take about 10 minutes. (At least when I was there)

I dont understand the good reviews.The floors were dirty, there was meat just exposed sitting on the counter for at least the 30 minutes we were there. They took over 30 minutes PASSED the time it was supposed to be ready.The bathroom was absolutely filthy, worse than any gas station or anything. No toilet paper or paper towels, the toilet was almost overflowed.There was plastic in the tater tots container. I SAW the woman pick something out of my salad..And one of our burgers was completely incorrect anyway.* NO SANITATION RATING IN VISABLE SIGHT *I was horrified, because it had such good reviews. We spent over $30 on food but couldnt eat it and couldnt get a refund, we were very upset and disappointed.

2022-04-27Ive been here a couple of times, and let me say that this is one of the best places in town to enjoy burgers. I get their Carolina burger meal with onion rings. Its sooo good. The service is great, too. Give it a try. You wont be disappointed. Ill definitely be coming back here.

2022-06-08Second time at Wayback burger first time was several years ago the burger was really good. This time it was horrible. The meat was very thin the roll was cold had a green tomato on it and too much extra condiments. Overall it was not very good. They need to improve in order to have a good business. They had repair work going on and over all the place not very clean. I would’ve gone back but I was on my way somewhere. I only waited a few minutes before I ate the burger after I got it and like I said it was not good at all and it was very cold.

2022-06-20I’m visiting from Houston and I wanted a burger spot to eat at, stopped here and got the Double Bacon Signature. 💯💯💯 Food was delectable, the beef patties were cooked thoroughly and each bite had hella flavor. Would definitely recommend!

2022-06-20I was visiting some family in Atlanta that I haven’t seen in years. I was driving from Houston to Atlanta, and on the way I decided to stop by and grab a bite to eat. That’s where Wayback burgers comes into play I saw good reviews upon it and next thing you know I pulled right into the parking lot. It was so good I brought my family back. Definitely am going to be a returning customer anytime I visit! Wait time was short too!

2022-05-27I have watched multiple customers wait over 45 minutes for a burger. Many got refunds and left because they wasted their entire lunch break waiting. The cashier was beyond rude and was a major bimbo. I personally have waited over 50 minutes for two burgers. There are 15 people here and only 3 have gotten their food in the last 30 minutes. I don’t think I have witnessed a single content customer in this establishment. The food was mid at best, burgers sat on the grill for 30+ minutes drying out. My first and last time here without a doubt.Update:it took an hour
