Came here on a late fruday since not many places stay open late. It was 12:30 and they close at 1 on Fridays and Saturdays. There was a wait on both ordering and getting the food, which was fine but they were very rude. We assumed the food was taking a bit longer because they had to make fries or something but when we got home we discovered they had only filled the fries container halfway with what was clearly microwaved fries. The burger looked fine but it was cold to the touch and we live maybe five minutes aways so it shouldnt have been. My drink was also very flat and and honestly just gross. I think they made us wait intentionally out of spite and to avoid other people from coming by have a backed up line. Im very disappointed with the service and quality of food, I dont recommend anyone come here after 10. Ill definitely just go to cookout instead which is across the street, because they have amazing customer service no matter the time.
Wendys in Athens GA (across from Walmart) makes the best juicy, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions and beef hamburger hot sandwich, drink and fries. The best in town. Cost 6.79. Wait time was about 5minutes from order to cashier.I watched and saw 6 customers order and go. No long lines.
Five stars not for the food quality in comparison to other restaurants, but 5/5 because it meets expected Wendys quality. This location has been renovated, but I have only been through the drive-thru. I have never had a problem with my orders or the food itself, nor any trouble with the employees. I have used my Wendys app for claiming deal offers without incident.Edit: Its been slower service recently, but I imagine thats just due to staffing issues. Food came out piping hot though.
Literally went into drive through because I placed an online order which I already paid for and once I got to the speaker the employee rudely says we are closed and disregard me saying I had an online order until I had to say it again. Then shes like we are closed, when we close your order will automatically cancel out. She didnt let people know what was going on or anything! This was at 9 p.m!
Door was locked. After I got in my car to leave, then someone opens the door and is standing there staring at me like I did something wrong. The time on my watch said 5:30 pm. The advertised hours said this particular Wendys should have been open. So, sorry for the bad rating. If the restaurant should have been open the door should have been unlocked. There was no sign on the door that said the lobby was closed - in fact, the signage on the door instructed customers to mask up, which my son and I did. We will try again another time.
Usually have good experiences with Wendys, but this location changed that. Dining room closed, drive through was cash only. Went and got cash, and they declared it Mobile only. Downloaded the app, and when I pulled up, they complained they were closed and asked if we could just leave. Occured 8-15-2021. Interesting management during this time.
I’m only giving it two stars instead of one because my burger was really good. The lady that hands out the food was very nice too . BUT… y’all really need to do something about the guy at the cash register. He didn’t say ONE word to me just held out his hand had the most miserable look on his face . I said how are you doing thank you have a good day and he said NOTHING back. No one forced him to work at Wendy’s . He’s there because he chooses to be so y’all might want to remind him of that. Don’t work customer service or with food if you hate dealing with people THAT bad. I’d recommend you guys do something about that or you’re going to lose customers for sure.
Their computers are down every night around the same time, it’s frustrating bc it happens all the time, seems a little too convenient. I’ve tried to go 3 times and I wait for 30 minutes to get to the window to be told they can’t take my order, just go out side and make an announcement to everyone waiting, so you don’t make people wait for nothing.
Absolutely worst staff and Management (Robert was on duty). I asked the lady at pay window if they have Military discount. She said I dont know, I asked her if she could ask and she said you really want me too. I said yes please, she comes back and says Management doesnt know. We get to next window to pick up food and the Manager Robert handed me our food I asked him and he said he had no clue. What company makes has Management that doesnt know what they do or dont. What company employees people that question you about asking a manager a question. Please go some where else because no I question do they even know how to do anything. I personally will never visit there again and I have family that works at another location and different state who was thrown back by what we told her. I will take my business anywhere else at this point. A Manager should always know what they do and dont. Its ok not to give it but you should know if you do or dont. Wendys you got to do better.
One of my favorite fast food restaurants. Salads are healthy, filling and fairly priced. I like the variety of the menu; more healthy selections but also things for people who dont like salads. Love the chocolate frosty and if Im a little short on cash, I can order from the dollar menu.
Fast service since it was early in the morning for breakfast. Sadly the breakfast wasnt good. The biscuit tasted like it had been washed in latex gloves. And the Chocolate Frosty-ccino was just REALLY strong black coffee with NO flavor what-so-ever. I was expecting it to taste like a chocolate frosty with a tiny bit of coffee flavor. Instead all you get is STRONG coffee flavor with NO hint of chocolate anywhere.They added a survey slip to fill out for a free sandwich, however, kinda hard to do when they dont give you a receipt. All other drive thru restaurants automatically give you a receipt. They either hand it to you after payment or put it in the bag when they hand you your food. They did neither.Not Americas favorite breakfast. Stick to Americas favorite Hamburger.
First upon placing my order in Drive Thru I was told to Hold with a stern voice not a proper greeting just a HOLD. I placed my order waiting for a short period of time that was the only pleasant experience. I got home and there werent any sauces in the bag as I had placed for with my order. My nuggets were cold and also the fries were cold as well. I would have done a customer survey however there was also no receipt in the bag. I just wanted a hot meal after work and ended up trashing the food since it wasnt fit to eat. Ill never return to this location my order wasnt a big order so therefore Id assume that it would have been an easy order to put together.
I have given this place too many chances and Im finally done. I get that things happen sometimes in food services and you have to cut the employees some slack, but to be sitting for 2 minutes of silence at the drive thru and THEN told to hold when there is literally no one in the restaurant and no one in the drive thru is just ridiculous. This is by far the most convenient food option to me from work but I just cant do it anymore.
These people are SO RUDE. The lady didn’t listen to my order and was short from the beginning. She put in the wrong sauce and then the other lady gave me only 2 sauces to replace the 6 I should have gotten (I ordered multiple meals)! It took 20 minutes to get my food with only 3 people in line. I usually wouldn’t fuss, but they were extremely rude, and it was completely uncalled for. Like at least say sorry for the wait. I mean, really, even McDonalds employees apologize for that long of a wait. And then you’re rude?? I will NEVER go back to this location.
Good food, good staff. I docked a star primarily due to being perhaps a *bit* salty that it erroneously still advertises that the smoky mushroom bacon cheeseburger(which is top) is available(which it is not, sadly). Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about here, save for the odd way that the cashier worded the question of is that all, instead being does that complete your order. Then again, I am not one to talk about weird wording, so what do I know?Also, my picture here has the dining room hours, just in case Google botched up my correction(had it scan this picture). The drive thru hours are 10AM-12AM(midnight) and Sunday-Thursday, 10AM-1AM Friday and Saturday(provided that I did not copy that down wrong).
This location has just been remodeled so it looks really nice now. I visit this location on occasion, the service in the drive thru is usually better than inside because you usually have to wait for someone to notice you when youre waiting at the counter. The food can be hit or miss on whether it is fresh or not.
Beware! Overcharged then got attitude from I am assuming the manager with the excuse of hes new. And how is him being new my problem? If hes new then perhaps someone should be helping him at the busy drive thru. Also he should listen when someone tells him he overcharged them. Poor poor poor customer service. Manager acted like it was an inconvenience to refund the money to the card....while my groceries are melting in the car. I came thru the drive thru to NOT have to go inside. A simple Im sorry might have been nice. But nope! And when pulling up to the drive thru speaker there was so much chatter coming from in side it was amazing he could hear the order. Poorly ran store. Poor customer service. Probably not even worth the 1 star rating I gave. Wont make that mistake again.
We ordered through the drive through. The first person we encountered was rude and short with us. When we got our food, it was the wrong sandwich. When we asked them to fix the mistake they did. Once we got home and opened it, the chicken was hard and overcooked, making the sandwich almost completely inedible.
Standard Wendys. Good food at very reasonable prices. Staff is hit and miss. Some are very pleased to help and serve you while others treat you like a burden. Dining area is always pretty dirty. Nothing special. As a broke college kid, though, Ill probably continue to give it my business.
The food is good but they need to work on their customer service skills. I was at the drive thru and asked how much is a large fry?. The cashier replies its on the board. Smh got to do better Wendys. I had just came from the eye doctor and my vision was still adjusting. I just pulled off and went to chick-fil-a. If youre that lazy when it comes to reading prices, I know my food order wont be right. No thanks!
Horrible service. Absolutely awful. My debit card chip is scratched so Im getting a new card. My bank decides to go ahead and cancel the scratched card. Not knowing, I was declined. As embarrassing as it is I called and had it fixed. The Wendys refused to remake my order even though I explain to the woman in drive through I was coming back. Not only was the mess up humiliating but refusing to give me service and threatening to cut up my card in front of a line of people was too far. I will NEVER return.
Ordered a single cheese burger combo , double cheese burger combo, large chili, and two frostys. When they handed me my order after waiting for my order they gave me a fish sandwich and one of my burgers. No drinks or anything. Then it took them at least 10 or more minutes to give me order after repeating it multiple times. Though they still didnt even give me all my drinks. The employees were playing in the back and one said this is why he is quiting.
The workers are very rude n they ignore you when u need to order. Wendys didnt used to be this way. The stupid girl was very rude to my husband n my son. She didnt even acknowledge him and it ignore him to take his order. How rude!!! We will never go there again. They are very racist it seems that way. Boo, boo. Workers cant not trear customers like that. I will be careful when visiting this Wendys.
Come here to pay $1.49 for a medium drink only to be told you can only get one refill. Ive also been served raw burgers from this place and the food is almost always stale when they actually cook it. This store needs to get their act together before the health department shuts them down.
3 strike rule. This is the 3rd time that they have messed up a simple order. They left out the chili for the taco salad. Instead of giving me sour cream they gave me butter. I had to go back to get it replaced. In future I will save myself the time and hassle by going elsewhere.
They got my order wrong. They charged me double for fries and drinks...Then when I said something the black guy got an attitude with me and saidraggedy ass redneck aint got no money when I decided that I just wanted a refund he started yelling at me and tried to fist fight me in the parking lot. Worse customer service ever.
On my last visit to this location, I wnt thru the drive-thru & ordered ( 2) baked potatoes & ( 2 ) Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers..When I got to the window to pay I was informed they were out of Baked Potatoes . The potatoes were taken off my bill, but no apology was given or a substitute offered by the mgr that came to take off the price...AND when I got home with my ( 2) J.B.C. , one of them had nothing on it but a hamburger patty & cheese...no lettuce/ tomatoe / Mayo /bacon !!!!..What a terrible meal the 2 of us had .....On a previous visit you were out of baked pitatoes & the mgr gave me 2 coupons for free potatoe on next visit, which was great....This trip on this past Tuesday I had no potatoes ( cannot eat fries) & one good hamburger & one PITIFUL BURGER...there are too many fast food rest., to be making these mistakes.No reason not to have baked p o tatoes @ 3 PM.........
I travel a lot and eat at many Wendys restaurants around the south... My fav sandwich from Wendys is the Jr Bacon with cheese...😋😋😋 Mmmmm... So... for the sake of the Jr Bacon, I give 3 stars...As far as this location, the jr bacon I ordered here was the worst jr bacon Ive ever had... Mainly, bc the Tomato tasted slightly rotten... We all know the tomato is what makes the Jr bacon what it is... I had to remove the tomato to finish it... that ruined my whole Jr bacon experience...🤣ijs...

Thank you for reminding me why I dont eat at Wendys.Order not even close to what asked for, service poor and almost offended that I was even there and I was only one of two cars the entire time so not like they were busy.I worked in the food industry so I tried to be understanding but consistent horrible service should be addressed.

2021-12-05So we always order three 10-piece nuggets to share. The last two times they were so old and hard we could barely even eat half. This time I asked specifically are the nuggets fresh, and said I dont mind waiting on fresh nuggets. The lady taking the money turned to ask the guy begging the nuggets he said they are fresh!! This is what they call fresh. Mind you it only took me 2 minutes to get home. Last visit!

2021-07-19They forgot one whole meal, my husbands sandwich had mold on the bun, the remake was made with the wrong chicken and the 3rd remake was just thrown on a bun out of the bag (not toasted) and the chicken was old, dry and stringy.... and also made incorrectly.

2022-03-04This Wendys has really stepped up their game. The employees are very friendly and the food is always on point, especially in the early afternoon. Pay them well so they stay with the company. They deserve it. Great job!

2022-04-24I pulled up to the drive-thru at 8:50 pm. Waited for the car in front of me to place their order, then pulled up for my turn at 8:55. Waited a couple of minutes with no greeting before driving around to the window at 8:58. The lights were still on but nobody could be seen. Waited a few more minutes while watching several other cars go through the same routine. Then from the gas station across the street, I watched three employees turn the lights off and go home at 9:10. It was a pretty terrible experience. (This was a Saturday night and the posted closing time was 1 am.)

2022-07-03I get no one wants to work for $13 an hour but is it hard to hire 3 people to run this place? Ive worked fast food and it takes min 3 people to run a drive thru. Quit being cheap otherwise you will continue to be closed down

2022-06-15Drive was wrapped around the building. We got out to dine in. The dining room was closed and locked still? Over 10 restaurants within a stones throw from the had waiting lists booming with customers. We never eat fast food anyway. The only reason we tried this dump was because we were in a hurry and couldnt wait for an hour at Texas Roadhouse. We went down the road to Cheddars. Got right in, had a lovely steak & salmon dinner. What a bunch of losers you are Wendys! I hope you go under.

2022-07-08First off…the lobby is never open. Second, there is no way you can possibly label this “fast” food. Be prepared to wait for it…a while. Also, make sure they give you the correct order. 🙄
