Me an my wife was told we had an credit on our account. The next payment period came around the credit turn into a bill. After speaking with management they had no clue what was going on so we had to pay that credit back for over $100 along with paying that credit back was a water sewage bill for almost $60 dollars that we are now paying twice on our current bill for some odd reason. I don’t recommend staying here we been getting rip off for some reason. Like cut me a break rent already over a 1,000 dollars now we paying extra an there’s no explanation behind this.
My leasing agent, Sidney, has been exceptional since Day 1. Any issues that I may have encountered, maintenance or otherwise, have been addressed and handled promptly ... and for that Im very appreciative.I love my apartment, the location, and the grounds are very well maintained consistently. The only issue I have is my upstairs neighbors that apparently have no regard for others. The constant overhead noise/movement is aggravating, to say the least (sounds like a construction crew at times), and as a loyal tenant I am entitled to peaceful enjoyment of my apartment home as well. Wesley Kensington has been a perfect fit thus far aside from the aforementioned issue.
Don’t waste your time. Was approved for a 2bd 2 bath. Places the security deposit. Then I was some how not approved. Then they did not refund the full amount of the deposit. Rose was easy to deal with though. I passed the background and income checks.. I was later denied because I didn’t have a certain amount in my savings at the time..
Sidney made my move in process extremely easy. He was fun, professional, and listened to all my needs and concerns. Sidney even called to check on me after I was moved in. The entire staff is nice and friendly. My maintenance request are met in a timely manner and customers service is excellent.
Overall decent experience. Sidney is an awesome rep. The initial setup for getting me into my first unit here went quickly but we ran into an issue where I couldn’t secure the unit at the last minute after all the paperwork and money was taken care of, which was very disheartening. However, they worked fast and hard to remedy this and managed to find me a replacement unit with a move in date that was only a week off from my original move in.Complex is generally pretty clean and quite. Would definitely recommend if looking for something on this side of town.
Im very pleased with leasing process of this apartment. Everything has been perfect since Ive moved in, which speaks volume of the time and quality Wesley Kensington puts in accommodating their tenants. Additionally, the leasing consultant, Sydney, he played a great role in helping me to have smooth transition. Very professional!
I have been for only one year , we recently have had a property manager transition and it is more than obvious in a negative way. Other than the maintenance crew no one seems to know anything . The leasing consultants respond with “ I guess “ or “ I am not sure” often. The team in general does a piss poor job of communicating anything with tenants. I often wonder why so many things around the complex are broken or do not work. The neighborhood is fine the tenants are fine, the leasing office is just unprofessional as a whole. If you are going to communicate with the leasing office it is better to do it via email and in person to make sure there is a paper trail for legalities.
The staff in the office is so rude and unprofessional every time we talk (Kirsten, rosa) they talk over you and never try to resolve anything. We literally signed a early renewal 3 times with a locked rate and since they are not keeping up with their paperwork they are raising our rent. I can’t wait to leave I wish I never came here.
Im now a resident of this complex and I am beyond pleased with my experience thus far. Shane, my representative, presented the complex amazingly and showed every dazzling feature they have. The complex is quiet, clean and everyone stays to themselves. I love the fact that they are quick to respond to you and are willing and able to help with any concern the tenants may have. I am truly impressed and love my new place!!! I would highly recommend this complex to anyone interested.2yrs later. Aug 2021. New Management.I am absolutely disgusted with this place! The management is HORRIBLE and the staff is rude and disrespectful. The maintenance team will list they completed jobs they didnt and the amenities break often. The gates are always broken and theres so security. The rent is way too high and may randomly increase without notice. Theres a pay program that will split your rent into 3 payments a month, DONT DO IT! ITS A SCAM. You have to pay to get in and out. It looks beautiful on the outside and may seem wonderful at first but its all a ruse. Dont be fooled. I definitely am not impressed and its time to go.3yrs later. May 2022.DISGUSTING! I HATE THIS PLACE. It looked soo good at first, they were so nice and they love to kept the neighborhood manicured but it is complete trash! The trash compactors are always broken, the gates are ALWAYS broken (at least one every other week), they only clean and mow one side of the street, maintenence is horrible and theyre always canceling work tickets, they repainted the parking lot lines and made us get stickers but did absolutely nothing with them (so no numbers on the parking spaces and the parking lots STAY full), the gym door has been broken since Aug/Sept of 2021, THE RENT IS UNNECESSARILY HIGH, look at the vents! There is mold everywhere, overcrowded parking (no personal or labeled parking spaces), the manager is NEVER available and theres no security at all. Weve had shoot outs, break ins and someone was killed here. I CANT WAIT TO LEAVE! This place is a complete nightmare. Its all pretty at first but if you stick around, youll see.
If I could give zero stars I would, The staff is extremely rude. Kirsten and Sydney are both unprofessional and made me feel as if I was I nothing. When I asked if I could speak with management I was given a FAKE EMAIL address and they refused to let me speak with him twice. Corporate If you are seeing this please fire the entire staff and start over new. I love the location of the apartment but after dealing with Kirsten and Sydney it does not seem to be worth it at all!
PLEASE PLEASE ANYONE FROM UPPER MANAGMENT THAT READS THIS GET A NEW STAFF!!The new staff is horrible. I have never had a problem with staff when victor was here. BUT now its always a problem. from being lock inside my apartment and Sidney not helping then the grounds on the property are half clean now a day and the and gate is always broke. My AC has been broke for the pass 2 months and still hasnt been fix. whenever you call the the office they always put you on hold. they are very rude. im very upset because I once loved these apartments
Most unprofessional apartment Ive ever came into contact with. Waisted 2 weeks of my time with them and definitely wouldnt recommend them. Sydney Clark, leasing agent, had a condescending attitude the whole time. He was very rude and the property manager was nearly impossible to reach. When he was reached, handled the situation poorly. The property is very beautiful but the office staff makes the property lose all its worth. Was approved to get a discounted rent rate based off of credit and income but after not choosing to go with the apartment size they wanted me to go to suddenly the deposit went up to $2000.
I absolutely love this property and staff. My leasing professional “Kirsten” is phenomenal!!! She’s very nice and professional. She made my application process easy breezy and my apartment was just what I expected it to be. Thanks so much Kirsten & staff. You guys rock!
This property has let me down time and time again. However, the main office doesn’t seem to know much of anything these days and I can never reach management. I’ve been staying here without working AC unit in this overvalued apartment for about 3 months now, every time I called down they tell me they have to put the order back in the system again! When Maintainace finally comes, they change out the air filter and go about their day.I’ve been waking up in a sweat every morning because it’s 80 degrees inside my apartment. Not to mention the inconvenience it’s been having to get my mail. I’ve been without a Mail box since I practically signed my first lease. It makes you feel as though the workers here don’t care about their tenants. Most likely not gonna renew the lease.

I would like to give a shout out to your leasing consultant Sidney Clark. I have viewed several properties over the last 3 weeks and talked with 10 leasing agents during the process. Sidney has been by far the most professional and responsive out of them all. Thank you Sidney! Keep up the good work and I look forward to working with you in the future.
Really loved my apartment but hate the unprofessionalism and lack of care in the leasing office. Sidney Clark has the most sarcastic attitude. I never had any problems with the office staff until the new staff came over. They are always too busy to answer questions. I called the office to ask Sidney questions regarding my lease transfer and he put me on hold. Upon returning to the phone and answering two of my questions, Sidney then proceeded to state that if I had anymore questions he would have to put me on hold AGAIN because he had other people waiting. Basically telling me my time isn’t as valuable as the other people he had waiting. I started my lease transfer March 1st and was told we were waiting on them to get the units together per email. It took for my to go to the office a day before my lease ends for him to tell me “I wasn’t able to verify your documents”. Truly an inconvenience being the fact that they had received my documents a month prior and should have reviewed them before taking my holding fee for the apartment I was transferring to. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that he wasn’t available. Btw, he’s never available when I ask. I don’t think we should have to suffer because of their lack of empathy. I would like to speak with the property manager before taking further actions. This is totally unacceptable. I’ve been a resident here for 2 years and really enjoyed it until crossing paths with the new staff. No one knows what they are doing and always try to cover it up with stating someone is new. If your staff isn’t properly trained to answer questions, they should state that they don’t know and they will ask instead of giving false information.
I would recommend anyone that need a place to live come to Wesley Kensington Apartments. I love being out here it’s a very peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Rose and the rest of the staff have been nothing but amazing since I been here. Like I said earlier if you need somewhere to call home come to Wesley Kensington.
Great location, grounds are well kept. Though complex have large number of residences for the most part quiet environment. However at times drivers have music playing extremely loud upon arrival. Also sometimes drivers are speeding when entering complex which presents accident risk. Staff, especially Sydney, is very friendly and professional.
Very rude staff! They don’t listen to your concerns they just talk over you and act as if you’re incompetent when actually they are! Was somewhat interested in this complex but after speaking to Sidney and Kristen about two times I am not. These two act as if the property is upscale when in all actuality the property is similar to housing authority!
The property was amazing and beautifly groomed. The leaasing agent , Kirsten was very helpful and considerate. She was very professional and knowlwgeable . i think she was very respectful ans considerate of my individual needs as it related to housing and she and her genuine concern is what i think really sealed the deal for me.
I have lived in Wesley Kensington Apartments since 2010. I’ve lived in 3 different apartments. I appreciate the professionalism from the leasing office staff. I never had any major issues. Maintenance responds in a timely manner and they are so courteous! The community grounds are maintained on a regular basis. My current building rocks too. We have extra space for parking. I take my kids out there so they can run around.
I have been living here for going on one year. The property is very nice, quiet, and always clean. The staff is very kind and helpful in making sure the the residents are comfortable and are well taken care of. The apartments are extremely spacious as well.I am also a courtesy officer for the property, meaning I patrol the property at least twice every day in a marked patrol vehicle and on foot at lease twice a week to ensure that the property and residents are safe. I would highly recommend Wesley Kensington Apartments for rental.
Overall pretty good experience here. I had gnats and fruit flies in my unit pretty bad for a while, watch for that. The staff is polite and attentive, even though busy. If you have good neighbors in your building you are good. Ask them if you see them out about the building before making your decision. My vehicle was broken into by who I believe to be my neighbors (young kids) Police isnt as active as they should be. Maintenance was relatively timely, based on the amount of units they have to deal with. Amenities are nice. A bit pricey but I can say that my experience as a whole was good here.Its all relative to who you are and what you expect from your Apartment. Based on MY experience, I would have someone I know live here.
Wesley Kensington is the best I’ve lived in all my years as a renter. Another plus for me is that Stonecrest is growing in its population—gradually but just the right pace for me. If you choose a place outside of Atlanta, Wesley Kensington is my recommendation. Just close enough for your commute but far enough to have that quiet feel of tranquility.
I moved in a month ago, and there were issues right from the beginning. The layout of the apt. and grooming of the property grounds are what attracted me. However, this property claims to have a 6 star customer service rating. That is B.S. I was set to move in on Dec 1st; when I came to move my things in- I found out the apt assigned to me was not the version of the apt I agreed to renting. Therefore, the leasing agent had to place me in a different apt (the version I wanted). However, it was not touched since the previous tenants moved out and the change put stress on my moving team as well as causing several inconveniences last minute. The leasing agent said the carpet needed to be replaced, they needed to paint and do several other repairs. I told her I would stay at a friends house for a few days so this could be done. I returned to my apt. on Dec 5th- nothing was done as stated, nor was I ever offered compensation for my inconveniences. We are now in Jan, and I have placed these same maintenance requests on the portal more than once and sent several emails as well as having a couple verbal conversations with the leasing office. The repairs still are not done, but they marked them as completed in the portal. FALSELY stating they were done. Needless to say, I will not renew my lease once its done and thats sad because the location is great, but the leasing office staff and maintenance will always make or break a property. No surprise why the are not accredited with the BBB, yet have an F rating.UPDATE: After filing a complaint with the BBB, They did not respond to it on time, just like everything else the BBB had to send a reminder. Residents concerns are not a priority for them at all. The front door was just repaired today 01/15/2019 at 4:10 pm, not Jan 3rd as stated they stated in their BBB response. So they are continuing to lie. The other repairs have yet to be made: The loud noise coming from the mechanical room still is not fixed. The gate code given to me for entry still does not work, and Im not programmed in the gate system for my guests to get in, and they still have not offered me any compensation for the major inconveniences they have exposed me to. No phone call nor an email to me about anything. Yet they expect you to pay your rent in FULL on time, or you will be charged an immediate late fee.DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!
The apartment complex is very quiet, beautiful and comfy spacious apartments, the office staff is very helpful and friendly. The neighbors are nice plus a gated community. Safe environment all around. Love the greenery and environment of the place. I have no complaints. I like the fact that they keep up to date woth maintenance of the property and the apartments. I love the fact the its surrounded by many alternative places to go besides the mall. The long stretch is great for walking and exercising. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The apartments are okay. The worst thing was the internet being very slow but that has changed since ATT Fiber is available now. Maintenance requests are fulfilled in a timely manner and that I appreciate the most as well. No issues with package delivery. Nobody bothers you (thank God). Wellington and Tiffany are the sweetest and most patient leasing agents I’ve personally ever met and I’ve stayed in more apartments than I can count. Never have an attitude when I come to them with issues. I say if the location is great for you, move in.
My family (husband, myself and senior in high school at the time) moved here about 18 months ago. I was looking for a place I felt safe with my teenager coming in from work at night. So we moved here since it was a gated community. We haven’t endured a break-in to home or automobiles (we have 3). I live on the top floor, therefore I have no issues with noise of cars or neighbors. When I’ve had a repair submitted online, they’ve responded within a reasonable timeframe as posted on their site. I enjoy the pools, gym, and location. I would have rated them with 5 stars, but some neighbors are TOO friendly. Mine actually take to feeding cats and I’m allergic to them and my teenager is afraid of them. Other than that, the community is great. Oh, if you are lucky to get a nature facing unit, entertainment of company is nice and private on your patio or balcony.
I have been a tenant now for about 5 months here at Wesley Kensington. The view of this place and the quietness is just wonderful. The convenience of the different attractions is wonderful too. The Administrative staff is just wonderful. They make sure that you are treated with the upmost respect and they try to make sure everything is running smoothly as they see fit. Thanks, Wesley Kensington for making my residency here great!
I lived 2 years here and loved it. The community is quiet and always clean. The maintenance is always on top of fixing any issues. Normally they come 1 to 2 days from the date I submitted the work order. The office staff is always smiling and they have great customer service skills. I moved because I bought a house but would recommend it to anyone.
Truck drivers avoid this place. We used to be able to park outside as well as inside the gate. But ever since they switched management things have changed. They started tagging trucks even the ones inside the gate. Its very inconvenient for me because I have no other place to park.
Beware!!!!!!!!!!Ive been living here for almost three years and this will be my last. Each year my rent continues to go up and the customer service in the leasing office is bad, amenities are becoming less and less, the security gate is never working, people are being robbed, cars are being stolen, and people are being killed. Lastly, residents are being charged $25 per package if the leasing office has to receive it from any mail carriers. Which none of the carriers actually attempt to deliver to the door, they automatically just go to the leasing office. Just save yourself the time and money and live somewhere else.
My first experience at Wesley Kensington was great. Shane is amazing an he is very professional. This will be my home for a long time. I would recommend this place to everyone. Make sure you ask for Shane. The apartment he showed me was exactly like it looks on the website you will not be disappointed. Me an my fiance fell in love with this apartment soon as we saw it.
The maintenance staff is exceptional. Once my requests are logged in, the staff rectified my issues quickly and with excellent customer service. They even leave a note to let you know they’re currently in the apartment and also correspondence to let you know they’ve come by and work is completed!
This place is a great place to stay. They really care about making your living situation great. Its affordable for the quality of the neighborhood. The are always listening to make improvements. Charla, Jasmine, and Briana all do their very best to take care of any problem you have. Neither of them are bad choices.
They most definitely do not care about their residents. My rights have been violated due to consistently noise from another tenant. Once someone in my home make noises I get check by an agent saying I’m too loud. Place is infested with roaches and water bugs that are big. I would’ve gave it a 4 but the staffs and tenant put a bad taste in my mouth. Overall these are some nice apartments.
I have lived in Wesley Kensington for three years now and I love the community. They have fun pool parties in Summer and a nice Clubhouse with good coffee. I recently upgraded from a 1 bedroom into a 2 bedroom and I love the floor plans offered here at Wesley Kensington. The staff is very professional and have worked with me on several occasions whenever I had any financial or maintenance problems. I do recommend the apartments to anyone looking to live in the City of Stonecrest.
The absolute worst rental experience I have ever had. From the beginning, the service was below standard. My appliances didnt work. The maintenance crew was overwhelmed. Management - to include the office staff was totally unresponsive, unprofessional, and uncaring in the attitudes and actions. Do yourself a favor: Dont even entertain the thought of renting from these slugz.
This is a very hard place to live so dont move here. The gates on the property are always broken and malfunctioning. The gates have hit peoples cars on the daily, including my car and management refuses to take responsibility for anything that happens on this property and says they wont pay.. The culture here on this property is if anything bad happens on the property, its the tenants fault, not the company or management. My AC unit has been broken every summer since Ive lived here. and it just broke again today. As soon as summer begins each year, my AC stops working every summer which leads me to believe that they are saving money on fixing the units. The bugs are really bad outside of your door and on the buildings and they will come into your home. Ive asked management to have someone come spray and i was told to just deal with it so I usually go to WAL MART and buy spray to cover me and my neighbors buildings. Four or five people can go through the gates at a time. If you are moving in with children, be careful as cars speed through the property going so fast and Ive asked management to add speed bumps but they havent and it doesnt seem they will. Just know if you move here, youre just paying for a place to sleep as they do not take care of their tenants and are out to get every penny. I was actually told by Navin that I only pay for my unit and that is all they are responsible for so if the gate is broken or if you have any other problems, youre screwed. Tiffany and one other customer service agent are really good about doing their job but the guy Navi is no help. He just denies anything you bring to him. The steps leading up to the apartments are really dirty, dirt and built up slime all over the steps and in the corridor. Has been that way for a year and no one has come to clean it. They have a sign that says WE LOVE OUR TENANTS , so not true. They love your money, thats about it.. Ive never left a review and I usually dont, but its gotten so bad here.
Great apartment. Storage on patio is very useful to keep stuff uncluttered. crazy big pools, three I think. And very nice staff. Office is pretty busy (big apartment community), but I can pay rent and stuff online so I havent ever had to go into the office.Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
**BEWARE: Think twice before you lease here! I stayed at this complex for about 7 months as I waited on my matriculation into physical therapy school this summer. Dont make the same mistake my roommate and I did by not looking pass the facade! Needless to say, do your research! One particular incident was when my roommate moved out at the end of our lease term (I had already moved out early due to school), they told her we owed an additional 1/2 month rent because we were not in compliance with their 60-day notice. Now, I found out I was going back to school in January. So, we made sure they knew we had no intention of renewing in March (verbally) then once again in May prior to me moving out via email. Although, there was never any mention of this policy early on or any explicit details of the manner in which we should notify them we did so as soon as they asked if we wanted to renew! Keep in mind, we were always on time with any & all payments and we never gave them a hard time. Yet, they still blatantly disregarded our concerns with this matter. They were very dismissive and seemed to only care about taking more of our money for rent we didnt agree to! I could go on & on about a string of other issues that took place... and, calling corporate does not help the situation. They are just as underhanded!
Although beautiful aesthetically, looks are very deceiving. Since moving in, I have heard of several reports of robbery the last being my neighbor across the hall. In April, someone was shot and killed (reportedly not random though). Then, I became a victim of burglary. I was told when I moved in that my alarm was included in my rent but I learned that, it is basically just there for show and that I would need to get a third party company. Had I known this, I wouldve done that from the beginning. In addition, Id previously given maintenance my alarm code because they were trying to complete a work order and they set the alarm off upon entrance. I explicitly stated to the leasing agent who called me to notify me that my alarm was going off that I wanted my code changed and that maintenance does not have permission to enter without my presence. Not only does maintenance enter once more without my permission, they also disarm and arm my alarm which makes me further believe that they played a part in my home being robbed. This coincides with a similar accusation from a former resident. I have been trying for the last 4 weeks and have made 4 phone calls to get my alarm code changed (I was told only the maintenance supervisor could change it and after the third phone call he informed me that only the alarm company could change it).Secondly, they require you to have renters insurance and have them listed as an interested party. Since I had a hard time finding a company that allowed this, I went with the insurance that they offered. After a fire in a nearby complex, they no longer accepted that company and started heavily recommending another company through numerous emails. Once again, I went with their provider. As I tried to file a claim, I am found that this liability protection does not cover personal property. So, Im screwed. The alarm nor this insurance was clearly clearly explained upon moving in. Had they done so, I would have taken the necessary precautions.Additionally, as for cable, phone, internet and electric, they say you can use any provider you want but no mainstream providers service the community. The internet and electric are through small local companies (IMNISP for internet, directtpath for directtv cable and Snapping shoals for electric). The internet customer service closes by 7:30 and it seems like only two people work there.Another problem that I am having is loitering by my door, smoking weed and leaving their garbage. I left a message complaining and never received any follow-up.Next, my neighbor above me. It sounds like she is constantly stomping throughout the day and night. Then, when she puts her dog in the cage, you can here it bumping around all day.This may not be something that management can necessarily help with but the noise is annoying.Next, my stove. I have literally complained at least 5 times about it not working properly and sparking. I have requested a new one but they just keep sending maintenance to fix it. I am utterly disappointed and disgusted with these apartments, especially for the rent that I pay (which increased $53 when I renewed) and I will definitely be moving when my lease is up.On a positive note, they offer free boot camp to residents (even though anyone can come since they dont check the signup). The same goes for the pool. They tell you, you need a wrist band but, anyone can come. Also, when the gate is working, its gated. However, the gate allows at least 5 cars to go through so, it kind of defeats the purpose. The fitness room is nice and the apartments in general are nice. They also spray for bugs at least once per year, although it hasnt helped keep them out.I have called the property management company to speak with someone since, you can rarely get someone in the office to answer the phone, and the management company never called me back. I see why these apartments have such poor service, it comes from the top. This is just my experience. Do your research before you move into any home.
I love it here at Wesley Kensington. The Office staff is great and very friendly. The maintenance staff comes to your apartment in a timely manner and is very nice and welcoming. Everyone in the apartment community is friendly and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to live.
These apartments have TERRIBLE customer service. Ive talked to multiple people working in the office throughout my four year stay that have made my stay more difficult. Moving in was a hassle. Moving out was an even bigger hassle. There are constant silver fish and roaches in the apartments (and Im not a dirty person). On the rare occasion that the office does answer when theyre called, there is no guarantee that your requests will be done. Ive put in various requests through phone that were completely ignored. The only reason I did not give it one star was because with the recent change in office staff, its gotten just slightly better but they have a LONG way to go.

In addition I would like to expressed for the amount of rent I pay the appliances should be up to date (I did not think because the appliances are white not black they would look rundown. I would like to stated I am not in a low poverty area, as if I am paying 700.00 or below). Furthermore, I did not think I would receive appliances that do not function properly. The carpet when I move in was not complete, as well as there is water damages in the cabinets and front entrance of the carpet, paint peeling off the cabinets. Every month if not the hold month the gates do not work and it bad enough I could never used the gym do to my work schedule. I feel the gym should be 24 hours as along as you have a gate key to enter. Furthermore, I paying to use the pool but every time I wanted to used the pool there was an issues. In addition, you have to park four or three building and sometime furhter from your building just to get a parking space. Every month since I been here there is always a issues with rent and that is starting to become frustrating like the first I was charge for 425 for one application and my daddy and stepmother credit was run without their and mines authority. Futhermore, how I never received the credit that is owe from the prorated rent amount (in the amount of 160.00). I am constantly seeing oh, little creatures creeping through apartment especially spiders when I am so terrified of spiders (all on the wall and in the cabinets, especially in the kitchen cabinets). From the brochure to the conversation as well as the looks of the complex, I thought it would be peace of mind but I was sadly mistaken because just like apartment that I view do not even come close to what I received. If you cant have a peace of mind where you resign how can I have a piece of mine anywhere else. I only move over here to be close to familyI forgot to add if the staff do not like you, they will ignore you as if you was not present and if they decide to assist you they will have a nasty dreadful attitude. It is funny Navin sent a respond when he is the one I talk to several times. SMDH.
I have been living at Wesley Kensington for over a year and the manager and staff have always been helpful and professional. The community is beautiful and I have loved living here. I had one small issue but it was resolved immediately. Special thanks to the manager, Navin and the team for making me feel valued.
Unorganized horrible experience, My daughter 19 yrs old, gets apartment with her boyfriend. He moves out 1 month after 12 month lease signed. Wesley Kensington allowed him to remove his name off the lease. However informed my daughter her income would not be enough to keep the apartment. So I signed the lease to cover my daughters income. My daughter has been timely on rent. I get a call from my child. She informs, her ex (whom has threaten her) can have access to the apt she has been solely paying for?! I asked what was the reason, I signed the lease?He was removed?! (The leasing office lost my signed lease) I provided the documents via email, they found it.. problem solved? Noo! They lost it again! its 90 days until her lease ends she still hasnt been late! Other incidents:She called upon maintenance and security either services responded. Contacted corporate-No RESPONSE. No explanation why he has access when he signed to be removed
I have had a very terrible experience here. I got moved into a unit that was dirty, not painted, hair covered the baseboards in the bathroom, globs of hair in the carpet, flooring coming up, dirty blinds, and several work orders were needed. The apartment clearly wasnt ready. Instead of them Instantly fixing everything - I was lied to, dodged, and pushed off. The guy who moved me in was EXTREMLY rude. The guy who leased to me didnt really care about the condition of my apartment and a lady even lied to me in the office saying the Manager was not there , when I had actually seen him walk in. After going back and forth I ended up going to Coorperate myself. Although a FEW things were fixed overtime, It was a horrible experience. Still didnt get a painted unit, still hair every where, still had work orders not complete. I turned in my keys before the month was out and I was again, pushed off, lied too, and disrespected. They even told me I would not owe anything- yet I got a bill. Although I stayed pretty calm, it was ridiculous and exhausting. I handed in keys at the end of November. I went back and forth with them, called corporate AND sent emails almost daily, yet didnt get my account cleared (as promised before I moved out) until a couple of weeks ago- this nightmare lasted well over a month!! I would not recommend this place! Everything that glitters isnt gold!! If you are reading this- good luck!!
The WORST complex! Do NOT move here. The staff is nice but incompetent. They are more obsessed with getting you to sign the lease than going over specific details. When you do have a question there is not a clear response. I do not recommend at all, after residing here for 1 year that was more than enough. Ive called in noise complaints that were never addressed and not to mention the occasional voice mail left without any follow-up at all. The move out process was atrocious! After losing my forwarding address, which the leasing person wrote on a post it instead of it being on the form as other complexes, the process was ridiculous. If I could give no stars I would. Good bye and good riddance!
So me and my girlfriend are expecting a little girl soon and we were searching for apartments. CHARLA IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST....really genuine attitude and when I say went the extr mile to get us not only in a good spot but in the area we wanted( referring to the floor I wanted to stay on). I recommend her to anyone looking to move over here. I hope I enjoy my stay but as far as the customer service go from start to finish she was the greatest.
DO NOT MOVE HERE OR TO ANY OF THE WESLEY BRAND APARTMENT HOMES. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME AND IT IS ALL THE SAME PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! LEAVING ONE TO GO TO THE OTHER OR RENTING FROM EITHER MEANS THAT YOU ARE DOING YOURSELF A DISSERVICE AND ASKING FOR A CHRONIC HEADACHE THAT WONT GO AWAY UNTIL YOU LEAVE AND/OR HIGH STRESS AND BLOOD PRESSURE. I lived here for a little over 3 years and I could not wait to leave that hell hole. When I first moved there, I loved it and thought that I had made the right choice to move there. It was nice and quiet. The neighbors were fine. I had no problems. I loved it so much, I upgraded from a one bedroom to a two bedroom and what was initially going to be 6 months turned into 2 years. For the last 8 months it rained inside my apartment(the master bedroom) each and every time it rained. I reported it on numerous occasions. The property manager, regional manager, maintenance supervisor, and everyone on the corporate level had been notified, yet the issue still wasnt fixed by the time I moved. I feel very sorry for whoever will be in there next. I tried to get them to move me into another unit, but the regional manager had the audacity to tell me that in order for me to move into another unit, I would have to pay more. Every time I spoke to either the property manager or the regional manager, I would get an instant headache and my pressure elevated. I was inundated with excuses and they continued to pass the buck. Theyll tell you that an issue had been fixed and then when you come home to inspect, the apartment looks the exact same way it did when you left. It was very appalling that I had I been corresponding with the regional manager about all of my issues, yet there was never any recourse. Everybody on the corporate level will make excuses on behalf of the maintenance team and the property manager. Because of the water issue, the ceiling of the master bedroom had turned brown. It was horrible especially for someone like myself who cares about where I live and keeps a clean place. After Elvis, the old property manager left and that ass hole Navin came in, I knew all hell would break loose. He was previously at the Wesley Stonecrest community wreaking havoc, but they moved him down to Kensington after Elvis left. Once I found out that Shaquala, the BEST LEASING AGENT TO EVER WORK THERE was leaving, I had made up my mind that I was moving anyway. You certainly dont get what you pay for here. They nickel and dime you to death and the rent is constantly increasing while the service is getting worse. Its not worth the money anyway when there are so many townhomes(brand new) and other properties for rent in the Lithonia/Stonecrest for cheaper. I got a brand new 3bd 2 1/2 bath for $1300 with a garage, backyard, stainless appliances, hardwood floors, granite countertops, etc. Had I stayed at Kensington, I wouldve been up to $1400 for a 2 bedroom. Move here if you want to live somewhere where the gate is always open, you love the smell of weed/marijuana, children are running around making noise and playing monkey bars on the gate, bugs are getting into your apartment, the HVAC system is always broken, the utilities are old run down and outdated, the property manager doesnt give a damn and neither does anyone else, if you want to hear gunshots at night, neighbors and people in your building fighting all day and night, no sense of security, etc . YOU WILL BE MISERABLE. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. THE PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS FOR WHAT YOU GET. IT IS AN OVERALL MESS. What use to be a nice quiet neighborhood is now a jungle and the people working in the office are as dumb as rocks, grossly incompetent and rude. From the manager on down. I could not wait to slam them. Im waiting for another debacle regarding my security deposit to commence. It is ALWAYS something and they are thieves. DO NOT MOVE HERE. YOU WILL REGRET EVERY SECOND OF IT!!!!!!!

You will have issues with them from start to finish. The gate is always broken. The hallways smell like marijuana. The breezeways are always filthy. Even if you are clean, you WILL have a bug problem because they obviously pay rent there. The office staff is rude and incompetent. Dont bother reaching out to corporate.They WILL NOT service you. Youll be lucky to get a live person on the phone. The ENTIRE Wesley Apartment Homes/Euramex/Avila Brand is BS. Moving into ANY of their properties is a one way ticket to hell. You will be scammed. I lived there for 2 years. It use to be beautiful and a really nice complex but they let the floodgates open and the riff raff came flooding in. I just left last week and I am happier than Ive ever been. It was the worst experience ever. If I could give them -100 stars I would. It was that bad.
Stopped by this complex to check out some available 1 bdrm apartment homes and was greeted by Jasmine. She was super patient and helpful when I explained to her the amenities that I was looking for. She was also detailed in her knowledge of the overall complex. 10/10 would recommend to my family/friends!
I just moved out here July 31st and I hate the people that stays above me. It sounds like they have little kids who are constantly running around in the house and jumping off of things. I have reported this to management multiple times and also called the police nothing has yet to be done! They don’t care about anyone here. I hate that I moved here. I also have problems with big water bugs every single day and someone did come and spray but it didn’t help at all.
Ive intentionally waited until after I had lived her a while to leave a review. I moved into Wesley Kensington nine months ago, after having relocated from sedate Fairfield County Connecticut. I had read all of the reviews on this complex and was a little concerned but after comparing others in the area decided this was the best choice. Honestly this place is great. The grounds are always immaculate, The staff is great especially Victor whom Ive interacted with on several occasions. I needed to put in one or two service request which were handled promptly. My main complaint would be a couple of idiots who come in to the complex, occasionally, blaring the radio in the wee hours of the morning. Other than that I can say that the people I have run into have been awesome.
I want to begin with the apartment itself isn’t worth the money, but the views are nice. If I could have left 0 star I would have. Please save yourself the time and money moving here. Between the roaches, maintenance issues, and and a staff that smiles in your face but doesn’t care in reality, I don’t know what’s worse. Soooo many mishaps that were out of my control and the manager did little to nothing. They don’t care but will get their money. There is better for less out there keep looking!!!
Not a resident. The apartments are very nice and well kept. Many of the residents do the place a disservice. My brother lives here. Everytime I come by his apartment smells of weed. The staircase, weed, all over. And he nor I smoke. Couple this with the fact everyttime I spent the night there the neighbor downstairs who we suspect is responsible for the smell plays heavy bass music starting around midnight till about 3am.
DONT DO IT! Or chance it! Stayed here 1 1/2 years. It was bearable; a place that never felt like home. Their proudly displayed banners we love our tenants is BS. But I was never late on rent and respected my space.I gave required notice of not renewing my lease and indicated Id be vacating approx. 10 days before the actual lease ends. I was in constant communication w/mgmt to ensure I followed every detail they provided for my move-out as I, too, read the negative reviews before i chanced it.Long story short, upon departure, I was assured by manager, Navin that my account was paid up and I would NOT receive anything from Wesley later stating otherwise.Two months after I left I received a move-out statement for $$ for the trash/water service during the month I moved. Okay, fine, I paid it immediately. One month later I received another statement! Get this - charging me $$ for canceling my renters insurance after I move out! WTH?Ive emailed, called several times left messages for Manager, Navin. He doesnt have the courtesy to reply. Your canned replies to the reviews you actually reply to on here are as FAKE and soulless as you and your greedy investors.Pros: If you need a place in a hurry or desperate (price to pay though)CONS: Base rent is the real con because theyll nickle-and-dime you to death! Tacking on any fee(s) they can get away with.Youll pay an extra $10/month for the pool (whether you use it or not during the 3 months out of the year when/if its open).Mgmt said its an amenity, but you dont see hotels charging extra because they have a pool. Whats next, mailboxes? parking spaces? Its pure GREED!Im not paying Wesley another cent! Management is misleading, dishonest, deceiving and lack customer service!Find another place or chance it. Its a roll of the dice.
Lived here for a year after my lease was up I couldnt wait to move the first month I got sick from the black mold around the window seal they said I signed something in me lease acknowledging it which is bull and they said it was mildew and but sent someone out to take care if it and it came right back... the rent went up my 2nd month. Rents too high for roaches, its nice, but you dont get what you pay for.
Ive been a resident here for the past year. As a person new to the state & a former homeowner, I was uncomfortable with the idea of renting again after so many years, and particularly in a new state where I knew no one. I am pleased to say that Wesley Kensington was the perfect place for me and my family. The manager, Navin, and my personal leasing consultant, Briana, have been nothing but AMAZING! If ever there was a problem (and they were very minimal), all I needed to do was contact Briana. She has ALWAYS gone above & beyond to be sure that I was a satisified resident and to resolve all matters pertaining to me. Briana & Navin, THANK YOU immensely for all youve done to make our stay here worry-free. You two ROCK!
Overall I enjoyed staying over here very quiet I never experienced any issues besides my upstairs neighbor feed stray cats 🐈 which was horrible seeing cats as you walking to your home and her heavy walking all day and night Charla and Brinia was super nice and sweet anytime there was a issue I had they took care of it hate to say goodbye to them I needed bigger space anybody looking for a nice place to stay i most definitely would recommend them Wesley Kensington ask for Charla or Brinia!!! Thanks for everything you guys
Ive been living here over a year and really have no complaints. The staff is nice, helpful and really care about your stay. Maintaence is always quick to get any job needed done quickly.. The property has parties on special occasions that are really fun for the community. I enjoy living here 100%-Rebekah Hayea
Looks are very deceiving. Since moving in I have had several complaints, First I felt like the apartment didn’t display like the model did, well come to find out the Buildings to the right of the leasing complex are more Newer then Buildings to the left, and I was never told that or giving that option to say yah or nah. I felt the apartment wasn’t clean and that they did a half A??? Job on getting the apartment together and I moved in back in August. But they will call you when that Rent is due…..Really…. Additionally, as for cable, phone, internet and electric, they say you can use any provider you want NOT TRUE….. No mainstream providers service the community at all. The internet and electric are through unknown companies (IMNISP for internet, direct path for direct TV cable and snapping shoals for electric). I have to pay for everything separately… Next, my neighbor above me, it sounds like they are constantly stomping throughout the day and night.Next, my washing machine. I have literally complained at least 6 times about it not working properly put in work order snice August and every time I put in a work order for some reason it always come back completed when clearly it hasn’t. I have requested a new one but they just keep sending maintenance to fix it. I am utterly disappointed and disgusted with these apartments. I wish that I did a little more research before moving in.. Spending 1200 on apartment and it’s not worth it so yes looks are very deceiving on the outside. Maintenance is horrible, Front Office is OK… Very much so: Lack of communication on their part with their Tenants…. 1-5 Rating A 2... will not be renewing my lease next year…….

I lived here for 1 year in a 1 bedroom apt and my second yr was coming up and I needed a 2 bedroom apt in the same property , I paid the new deposit, put in my notice and even signed the lease for the new unit I was moving into on the same property. They called me 4 days before I was supposed to move in saying the current tenant decided to stay in that unit which means I have no where to go. I had movers set up and everything! The property manager Elvis or whatever his name is was extremely unprofessional and everyone else in the office was as well except Tiffany. DONT MOVE TO WESLEY KENSINGTON OR ANY OF THEIR PROPERTIES AS THEY WILL TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF YOU EVEN IF YOU DO EVERYTHING THAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO.
The apartment is nice, quiet neighborhood. Live all the way at the bottom neighbors upstairs very noisy. Aisha the assistant manager is rude. She does not greet you, and always seems like she has an attitude, she acts as if she doesnt want or need to help you. Elvis was very helpful when I first moved in. Shaquala is a great, great leaser. She will assist anyway she can.
This was absolutely the WORST rental experience I’ve ever been apart of. The appliances don’t work and the water is barely hot. I’ve submitted 5-6 work orders, some even marked URGENT, still to no avail. The staff doesn’t seem to care either about my problems as it seems to be just another issue. I am going on my 3rd month of notifying the office of my issues with no action being taken. I shouldn’t have to take cold showers and try to rig my own appliances! Save yourself the headache. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
They overrated the rent is too HIGH for roaches to be living rent free, They dont answer the phone when you call, Its been plenty of break ins & to top it off police officers stay in this complex, it has been TWO killings in the last five months. The internet company you have to use for them sucks! Far as the staffing the only one I like is the light skin one we helped me moved in. Honestly I wont recommend anyone to move here looks can be deceiving.
Roaches whether your apartment is clean OR not. Its roaches as if it was an experiment.loud neighbors in certain areaspeople coming in and out of the complex with their stereo systems on full blastrent is a joke how are you charging these prices with the mess people have to go thru with these thrown together apartments made of wood. most apartments in the complex need new appliances in the bathrooms/kitchens. I mean new appliances not patched up appliances. The wood connected to these appliances are no good. Its holes in the floor corners of the stoves, dishwashers and bathroom cabinets. some ceilings are leaking in certain apartments. closets have bug poop in the top ceiling corners and so does the draws in the bathrooms and kitchens,roach poop from the previous tenants which means nothing gets cleaned or wiped down when tenants move out, they just move you right into a thrown together unclean patched up apartment. maintenance is a joke all he does is walk around the complex smoking cigarettes in and out of peoples apartments telling you what he wont fix or either telling you what apartment they should have moved you in. he also tells you about how some apartments are cleaner and nicer than other apartments. and they move certain people into dirty apartments. clean this mess up, do something else besides pest control because whatever they are spraying does not work. These apartments need a full cleansing, pest control is a joke. These apartments need to be sprayed from the inside where the wood is. adjust the rent you are ovecharging.
I love my community!!! Office staff is friendly, neighborhood keeps to themselves. They have beautiful grounds and amazing pools. We also have courtesy officers that are on post so I always feel very safe. Rent is reasonable and I got my rent lowered and money back after first year! You have to make this place home! ❤
If I could put NO stars I would. First off let me start by saying if you want service or need to connect to a wifi this is not the place to live. I literally had 0 bars. I would have to leave out the complex just to get internet connection. However, they do recommend A fraud internet provider. When we went to set up the internet they told us to purchase the wrong motor from best buy and they took our money . Come to find out they didnt even provide internet to my apartment but they did to my neighbors? Thank god we end up getting a refund but they gave us the run around before we even got that . When we mention this to wesley kensington, they blew it off an didnt allow us to move. P.s never stay on the terrance level, because thats where we was at an its basically a basement. Anywho, we brought it up to tiffany(leasing consultant) an asked her could we move to a diffent apartment because there was no service. Tiffany kept pushing it off until finally i asked to speak to the property manager, he was worst. Unprofessionally he acted nonchalant to the situation and said that we would have to pay to move , which is dumb because we werent asking to move out the neighborhood just into a new apartment witb better internet connection.So far this is the most unorganized, unprofessional apartment complex I ever lived at. Another concern about this apartment was the gate was constantly broke an the Pest(roaches and waterbugs) were BAD. When we first moved to wesley kensington the we started seeing the bugs get worse an worse, They would always say they sprayed or pest control came out but honestly i didnt beileve it . In conclusion, if you want to move somewhere with no internet service , gate always broken so other tailgate behind you and Roaches an waterbugs taking over your apartment, wesley kensington is the place to live .
The management (Navin) allowed the staff, Brianna to disrespect me multiple times. Also, give out confidential information about residents to other residents. On June 29th, 2019 I was given a call from my leasing agent Charla to let me know that I needed to pay my balance in order to break my lease. I was told by another agent that I needed to pay it by July 1st. So, I was a little irritated by that but no biggie. I got up and paid it, because I don’t want nothing going to collections from Wesley Kensington. I have a been living at Wesley Kensington for 8 years and I decided to move because of the current shooting, break ins and poor customer service from Navin and Brianna. So, I got up paid the money and called the office. They said Charla went out on the property call back in twenty. I called back in twenty and then they said she went to lunch. So, about twenty minutes after that I went to the leasing office to wait for Charla. Once, I walked in Briana asked could she help me. I told her I will wait for Charla. While sitting there, there were two ladies looking to lease. They asked me, for my opinion, I let them know I am a little irritated right now, but I wouldn’t move here based on the shootings and breaks ins. However, don’t take my opinion read the reviews for yourself. Or go into the broken gate and ask someone do they live here, and how they feel about the property. That would be the most authentic. The girls begin to read the reviews. The girls walked out. So, Briana came and asked me, “ what’s wrong, i just spilled the tea to them I can tell her the story.” I told her no I would wait for Charla. because Briana is known for making matters worst. She then insisted. So, I began to tell her the story. The story was basically already resolved so, i’m Not sure why she needed to know so bad. So, I told her I was moving due the shootings. She said, why didn’t you call the cops. I’m like because I was scared and had no clue what was going on outside. Then she said well I could moved my unit. I’m like they weren’t just shooting over there. Like girl what! (I don’t think she knew I have been trying to move since the shooting) So she goes to say, well we let everyone that was affected by the shooting to move without penalty. I was like what! She was like why didn’t you move then. I’m like I have been trying to move, they never ever offered me that. She was like you live in the building 18? I’m like yea! She was like no we offered it to you! I’m like let me call my friend %&&*&^ (her name) and let her know this. She was like #$%% who, she didn’t leave because of the shooting she left because she was always late on her rent and she didn’t have the money to pay, she came in here just like you, going off. You doing the same thing she did. I was like hold on are you saying I don’t pay my rent and I’m always late. I was like wait until Charla walk in she will tell I never was late and paid my rent on time for 8 years. Fortunately, Charla walked in. Charla agreed. And tried to calm the situation. I told Charla, this girl always makes matters way worst. So, then the girl Jasmine interrupted and stated I just want to let you all know that we didn’t let everyone in that building out of contract only the people in the same breeze way. I’m like see all of this, when all I came up here for was a breakdown and something stating that I owed Wesley nothing. Charla went ahead and printed my request. However, I followed her and stopped in the office. And the girl Briana told me to get out. I let her know I was going to stay right there. I then began to record her so she got quiet. I am going to be posting the video. So, then Charla pulled me aside and we talked. Everything was okay. But I walked by the office to leave guess who was there the whole time Navin. Listening to how Briana treated me. No reprimand no nothing. Laughing joking. Told me that no goodby is forever and I be back. Briana also told me that I called the leasing office all day. Which I called twice. Lol She was rude, disrespectful and Navin allowed it! Video will be up.
I loved this place first time I saw it back in 2014, then finally 2016, I was able to move in. I believe that was a huge mistake! The apartments are BEAUTIFUL! I love the interior but the people who live here bring the apartment down! Honestly, I loved the staff, they were great and my apartment was perfect for my little family!On another note, the upstairs neighbors were horrible. The guy living above us was a producer (which I didnt know was real income when applying for this place) and blasted his music everyday of the week, waking my family up in the morning and night, afternoon naps were a nogo also. The kids or grown ups who lived up there were loud as if they were moving furniture allllll day long and throwing bowling balls on the floor. It was a nuisance to say the least! Im a stay at home mom with a newborn so you could only imagine the lack of sleep I was getting. My fiancé went to let them know on more than two occasions, we beat the ceiling with a broom, and we called the leasing office of the music and other disturbances. We even called the police twice because it got really bad. Nothing worked!!!!!!!! Some people just do not have any consideration for others!The water bugs were HUGE! They were just extremely too big and wayyyy too many were able to get inside, (from where? Im not sure), but it was the most terrifying thing to me. I absolutely hate bugs! Pest control worked for maybe two weeks then they began to come back.The parking lot is horrendous! Folks who live out there are so nasty and throw all their trash everywhere. It was a mess.. And the parking at night got very real. People would park on the sides, curbs, and sometimes blocked other peoples cars in.My fiancé and I transferred to another Wesley apartment after we hit the last straw here. During hurricane Matthew, my immediate family had to evacuate and they decided to come to my home here in Atlanta. The morning before they were about to leave to go back to their home, we were ALL awakened by a loud rumble and tussle upstairs, then people were banging and screaming at our front door. Everyone jumped up in a hurry to figure out what was wrong. There was a FIRE right behind our building, someone had put an SUV on fire and it blew into flames! That was it for me and I was ready to get my child away from this place. Safety is KEY! But here, I didnt feel safe!Overall, the staff (especially Tiffany) are great people and the apartments are beautiful BUT the people they let in have definitely brought this place down! Im ONLY giving this place a 3-star because of the staff and interior of the apartments!
I never had a problem while living there but as soon as I moved out that’s when it all started. Long story short Management is rude. I also called corporate and they got tired of me calling and told the property manager at TO TELL ME TO STOP CALLING (how rude! Ohh and corporate never called me back but left an email which is unprofessional bc I asked them to call me). No one didn’t give me a chance to explain to them what the problem was. However once everyone calmed down; I finally got the chance to explain my side of the story and we came up with a solution. My advice to Wesley Kensington is to not be so quick to react without knowing and understanding both sides of the story and to hear people out.
The old staff was great with Victor and everyone else but there is new staff in Wesley Kensington THAT IS YOUNG AND DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON WITH BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE .. well really it’s not everyone it’s a new sassy guy in town named Sidney Clark .. he is a SMART A** I RECOMMEND DO NOT WORK WITH HIM ON ANYTHING ! DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU EXPECT FOR EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE TO BE RESPONSIVE AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR EMERGENCY!!. Last night at 11:23pm I made a call to Wesley Kensingtons emergency maintenance due to the fact that we had a burned circuit in our apartment which was causing smoke throughout the whole apartment and we couldnt find the original source of the smoke. I called TWICE and notified them that I have a newborn in the apartment that should not be inhaling any of the smoke. Its 5:38 AM and they have NOT EVEN RETURNED MY CALL!! Luckily my husband was able to find the source and ventilate the apartment, but if it wasnt for that God knows what would have happened !!!WESLEY KENSINGTON, IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR RESIDENTS SO MUCH LIKE YOU SAY YOU DO, HIRE PEOPLE THAT CAN IN FACT RESPOND IN A TIMELY FASHION TO A MAINTENANCE EMERGENCY!!!!
Late fees can be a powerful tool to motivate tenants to pay the rent on time. And while a higher fee can be a better motivator, some landlords cross the line, by setting fees that bear little resemblance to the actual damages they suffer when tenants pay late. Courts are increasingly invalidating excessive late fees that cant be justified with hard evidence. Youre better off setting a modest fee that reflects your true damages, and dealing with chronic late-payers with pay-or-quit notices. Its also illegal to charge renters dispossession fees and they never get filed with the courts.
The management (Navin) allowed the staff, Brianna to disrespect me multiple times. Also, give out confidential information about residents to other residents. On June 29th, 2019 I was given a call from my leasing agent Charla to let me know that I needed to pay my balance in order to break my lease. I was told by another agent that I needed to pay it by July 1st. So, I was a little irritated by that but no biggie. I got up and paid it, because I don’t want nothing going to collections from Wesley Kensington. I have a been living at Wesley Kensington for 8 years and I decided to move because of the current shooting, break ins and poor customer service from Navin and Brianna. So, I got up paid the money and called the office. They said Charla went out on the property call back in twenty. I called back in twenty and then they said she went to lunch. So, about twenty minutes after that I went to the leasing office to wait for Charla. Once, I walked in Briana asked could she help me. I told her I will wait for Charla. While sitting there, there were two ladies looking to lease. They asked me, for my opinion, I let them know I am a little irritated right now, but I wouldn’t move here based on the shootings and breaks ins. However, don’t take my opinion read the reviews for yourself. Or go into the broken gate and ask someone do they live here, and how they feel about the property. That would be the most authentic. The girls begin to read the reviews. The girls walked out. So, Briana came and asked me, “ what’s wrong, i just spilled the tea to them I can tell her the story.” I told her no I would wait for Charla. because Briana is known for making matters worst. She then insisted. So, I began to tell her the story. The story was basically already resolved so, i’m Not sure why she needed to know so bad. So, I told her I was moving due the shootings. She said, why didn’t you call the cops. I’m like because I was scared and had no clue what was going on outside. Then she said well I could moved my unit. I’m like they weren’t just shooting over there. Like girl what! (I don’t think she knew I have been trying to move since the shooting) So she goes to say, well we let everyone that was affected by the shooting to move without penalty. I was like what! She was like why didn’t you move then. I’m like I have been trying to move, they never ever offered me that. She was like you live in the building 18? I’m like yea! She was like no we offered it to you! I’m like let me call my friend %&&*&^ (her name) and let her know this. She was like #$%% who, she didn’t leave because of the shooting she left because she was always late on her rent and she didn’t have the money to pay, she came in here just like you, going off. You doing the same thing she did. I was like hold on are you saying I don’t pay my rent and I’m always late. I was like wait until Charla walk in she will tell I never was late and paid my rent on time for 8 years. Fortunately, Charla walked in. Charla agreed. And tried to calm the situation. I told Charla, this girl always makes matters way worst. So, then the girl Jasmine interrupted and stated I just want to let you all know that we didn’t let everyone in that building out of contract only the people in the same breeze way. I’m like see all of this, when all I came up here for was a breakdown and something stating that I owed Wesley nothing. Charla went ahead and printed my request. However, I followed her and stopped in the office. And the girl Briana told me to get out. I let her know I was going to stay right there. I then began to record her so she got quiet. I am going to be posting the video. So, then Charla pulled me aside and we talked. Everything was okay. But I walked by the office to leave guess who was there the whole time Navin. Listening to how Briana treated me. No reprimand no nothing. Laughing joking. Told me that no goodby is forever and I be back. Briana also told me that I called the leasing office all day. Which I called twice. Lol She was rude, disrespectful and Navin allowed it! Video will be up.
I have been to the complex maybe 5 times getting my rental agreement squared away. EACH and EVERY time Ive come the staff members have been most helpful except MeLyssa McDaniels. Even on today I came in and was sitting waiting for someone to greet or ask what did I need she walked past me (3) separate times. I then was greeted maybe 5 minutes later by Tidfiany who asked her sidnshe know someone was there. MeLyssas response was no I didnt even see her there. Her constant horrible demeanor/ attitude and failure to ask or even see if a resident or future resident has been assisted is apparent. On more than three occasions have I received or seen an attitude form her. I was originally assisted by another consultant who has been out Ill and each time Ive come and explained my consultant is out but that I am still in need of assistance she has been lax with he help she can offer or information she can provide with our mov in process. Barely answering questions, acting as if its a pain to help myself and my roommate to both apply online and to see the apartments for show. I have even had her walk rite of the door while assisting me. Granted one needs to take a break but thats something you communicate. I would have just as understanding if she would have say hey I know Im helping you but hold tight and Ill have someone else help you while I step out for lunch. Instead I had to wait at the door and slide my question in while she was on her way out. I urge someone in management please discuss proper customer service and all around assistance with her. I was fortunate to ask others for assistance such as Mr.Victor , Ms.Tiffany and Ms.Shaquala and they were amazing! But what if I had not? What if she was the only concultsnt I had met and that was the type of service I continuously received on each visit? Would I have returned or furthered my application process? NO I WOULDNT HAVE. And someone else might not either and they might turn from even applying if having to deal with a staff member whos unwilling to assist residents properly.
Im always about nature and where its always greener and Wesley Kensington Apartment have all these and im lucky to meet one of their great staff name JASMINE oh! my God she is so wonderful and lovely, she is able to work me diligently , making sure i get the best pricing and view. What more can i say Miss JASMINE you are so wonderful and i appreciate your perseverance and tolerance for getting me situated peacefully without hassle.Thank JASMINE a pure soul...
The property manager is BOLD FACE LIAR. Will say one thing to you and another when his boss is around. Tiffany is the ONLY leasing agent that goes above and beyond to make its done right. If you are thinking of moving here....word of advice (DON’T DO IT) Save your time, energy and money. Don’t believe the sign that says “We Love our Residents”Move in if you want to deal with a gate that is always broke. 5-6 cars can go thru before it closes, bug problem, maintenance requests take forever and are closed out before anyone even takes a look. Oh and if you work plan to be either late for work or leaving work early to speak to an associate. The phone is never answered. Even sat in the leasing office and called just to see who would answer. Nobody answered and I’m sitting in the office watching the calls go ignored.
I feel the need to take up for this place. There is not another place in Dekalb County where I could get such a great deal on my apartment. It is big and spacious, it has arches and I love it. I have had no issue with the management, although I have seen other residents in there actin a fool when they are behind in their rent.This place offers, to everyone, this deal where if youre behind you can catch up by making 3 payments instead of one. It is a nice place, and I have no issues in here.I say do your research but go see for yourself. J Douglas
Upon arriving on 6-17-2017 we we greeted by Tiffany. Tiffany gave me and my wife documentation for application requirements. She gave us documentation and I currently didn t have a fico score at the time and she then told us if I didn t have one she would just use my wife s score. At the time this seemed like a really good deal.We went back and applied 6-29-2017. Victor did the whole application by himself and he just asked us our information and wouldnt allow us to type anything ourselves. When we tried to assist him he stated to my wife sweetheart I ve been doing this a long time I know how to get you approved. The next day we called to check on our application status with victor and he stated that there were new terms not even 24 hours later.So now Victor and Tiffany are contradicting each other because, she stated that you all would just go with the highest fico score which would have led us to qualify for no security deposit and 25 off the rent monthly. However now there both saying that we owe 500 security deposit plus an extra 25 on the rent.At this point I need the information that was giving to me the same day i did my application to be honored. I expected much better customer service from this facility.
Wesley Kensington is scamming resident. They have this fake water and sewage co. Aspire utilities who is actially the apartment owners co.Charging resident hugh water bills and making you pay rent and water together. 200.00 for two bedroom unit per month for water and sewage. Call For Action needs to investigate. Spoke with dekalb co. Watershed. They said wesley kensington gets one bill and they decide how to divide who pays what. 200.00 a month for two bedroom apt. Something unfair going on.
I feel the need to write this review. I have lived on this property a lil over a year and half although nothing in life is 100% smooth sailing its a great property to live overall. Elvis the property manager has always tried and resolved any and issues with a smile. Office staff Tiffany and Marjani are dedicated. #2thumbsup
My God!!! Its one horror story after another on here! My job relocated me out to Lithonia and I went to view the property and the apartment and everything seemed very nice. However the consistent theme here seems to be dont let the nice looks fool you. unfortunately I am going to just pass on this property. I have already been a victim of car theft etc & I cant see me moving my wife into an environment where that is rampant. Thanks for all of your honest entries.
The complex and its amenities are nice compared to the other options in Lithonia. With this being said, we have experienced several alarming crimes here including a homicide, break ins, and tire thefts. The gate at the complex allows 5-7 cars through at a time which allows for these criminals to enter. The complex does not care and the residents are liable for all of these crimes. A timer of some sort should be placed on this gate PERIOD. They were also not upfront in regards to the internet options available within the complex. Most of the Wesley communites use IMNISP internet service. This is a two man business that constantly experiences problems within the complex. I also lost my at home job due to the home phone service I had through AT&T not working properly. They were constantly here to fix and issue for our entire building. Dont advertise something if you cannot provide it. The complex should ensure that these things are being adequately provided and kept up for their residents or not allow these companies to do business here. SIMPLE. I could not work for over a week and was let go because of an issue with AT&T home phone here in the complex.
I moved in March of this year upon my move they made sure everything was to my liking and when it wasn’t it was fixed in a timely manner by the maintenance team. Everyone I’ve encountered in the office is always welcoming and willing to help . If you’re looking for a place I recommend starting here !
The office has lied to my boyfriend all week about getting his fan in his bathroom fixed, No need to call this a gated community when the gate is broken every other day then when they fix it at least 6 cars goes off 1 entry, Who cares if your handicap here parking in handicap and fire lane is perfectly fine for anyone here. I would never live here. Spend your money and go North!
I lived in Wesley Kensington for nine months it was the worst experience in my life. I will never recommend anybody to move into these apartments from management is horrible!!! They are rude and unhelpful. My apartment was burglarized management didnt help me at all.
Whomever the black guy is that drives the dirty white Altima consistently rides around the complexes with his music stereo system up extremely loud day and night. Its so loud all you hear is the tag and trunk raddeling. Front office please address this. I think hes at the 6100 building. Everyday and even early morning hours, you hear this loudmusic from this dirty white Altima. It gives me a headache.
Gate is always broke, my complex building is full of dogs and the owners let them run loose and they do not be on the leash. I called the front office to complain about the dogs and they said they cant do anything about it. When I first moved in was so many waterbugs. My sink was leaking for weeks and every time they fixed it it was still leaking it took them three times to finally get it right.

THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE ON THE BOTTOM LEVELS HAVE BIG HOLES IN THE CONCRETE UNDER THE CARPET, YOU CAN FEEL THE BIG CONCRETE HOLES UNDER THE CARPET AS YOU WALK THRU THE APARTMENTS- ITS SEVERAL HOLES UNDER THE CARPET. YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING THE PEOPLE ABOVE YOU ARE DOING, EVEN WHEN THEY FLUSH THEIR TOILETS AND SHOWERS, IT SOUNDS LIKE ITS COMING THRU THE ROOF. ALSO A LOT OF CEILINGS HAVE CRACKS IN THEM, AS IF WATER FLOODED THE ABOVE APARTMENTS. ITS SEVERAL CRACKS AND HOLES THRU OUT THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THESE APARTMENTS. IN ALL MY RENTAL EXPERIENCES THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WHEN MOVING IN THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT THE LEASING AGENT WAS VERY PLEASANT, ONCE THE LEASE WAS SIGNED . I COULD NOT RECIEVE ANY ASSISTANCE., WHEN THEY CANT SOLVE AN ISSUE THEY DIRECT YOU TO CORPORATE , WHERE KNOWONE RETURN CALLS AND THE EMAIL DOES NOT REALLY EXIST. I HAD SEVERAL COWORKERS TO TRY IT AND WE CAME TO CONCLUSION THAT IT ONLY WORKS INTERNALLY. TERIBBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

2022-01-30This is the first time I’ve EVER had to TERMINATE a lease. As another individual has already stated, the staff can be extremely rude. They will definitely talk AT and even OVER you which says so much about overall quality of this place.If you’re looking for SPACE, then go ahead and move here. If you’re looking for a quality living experience, keep looking. This is not it.I moved in and there were stains on the carpet, incorrect filters, a leaking tub, shower head that doesn’t stream properly, a BROKEN garbage disposal, leaking dishwasher, corroding sinks, bugs, buildup or grime, and a other issues such as a potent cigarette odor which I WORKED to treat myself. There is soooo much more I could share, but will spare the additional details for now.I was told I was “nitpicking”… I even came home and had a note in my 1 Bedroom 1 BATH stating I can’t use my tub for 48hours.Do you think they cared? Absolutely NOT!These are just a few issues, and should have listened to others who have lived here and looked for something worth moving to.I’ll provide a few images. 2022-04-0510 Stars, Sidney Sidney Sidney, Starting from a last minute appointment on a Saturday, Mr. Clark went above and beyond the call of duty. The viewing, application, approval and finalizing my lease was smooth sailing. Mr. Clark was so attentive to my needs and wants for my home. The cleanliness from apartments, pool and up keep of the property was very impressive. Mr. Clark took his time to explain the process thoroughly without hesitation. Today in the pouring rain, he gave a very professional walk thru of the apartment I picked. The all black appliances were in very good condition and new carpet, the rooms were very clean. The staff was very cooperative giving 100% for customer satisfaction. Thank you to all, this was a speedy process for me.

2022-02-22The property is well-maintained and the maintenance department handles work orders very promptly. Definitely one of the best complexes I have lived in thus far. My leasing consultant, Sidney, was a great help throughout the entire leasing process. He was very knowledgeable of the property and went over and beyond to make sure things went well. I HIGHLY recommend you contact him for all leasing inquiries.

2022-04-08I went to Wesley Kensington with HUGE doubts due to some of the negative reviews that have been posted. First let me say I was greeted by a very friendly staff and the leasing agent, Mr. Sidney Clark was AMAZING. I personally had the pleasure to deal with Mr. Clark. When first meeting Sidney, I did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. He is very professional, friendly, straight forward and he went over and beyond the call of duty. I left thinking I should have paid him a fee. I can be very difficult and indecisive, but when I tell you Mr. Clark did not change his attitude and provided excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE. He remained positive and helpful the entire time. He did not rush me, he answered all of my questions, he was respectful, professional and he made sure that I was well informed and gave detailed guided tours. I can honestly say that any other person probably would have gotten aggravated with me, especially with the amount of time I consumed, but Mr. Clark remained pleasant and more than helpful. I love a straight forward and to the point person, without BS being thrown in there just to lease an apartment. If you are looking to move to Wesley Kensington Apts., I highly recommend you contact Mr. Sidney Clark. You cannot go wrong with him and you will have all of your questions answered and concerns put to rest. He will put you in the best apartment that suits your needs and comfort level. A+

If your looking for peace and quiet, overall nice atmosphere, then this is the place for you. The apartments are nice and spacious. Also maintenance is there for your ever need.. one call that’s all… well at least this was my experience. So if you are ready to move check out Wesley Kensington.Ashley

He was such a pleasure very welcoming. I absolutely love how he was able to answer all of our questions. I like how he called to make sure everything was good with our move when he was unable to be there when we moved in. Thanks for your great energy and positive attitude we dont see enough of it these days. Something as small as a smile can change someones whole day.

2022-03-16Well it’s been a week now since we have moved into our new apartment. here at Wesley Kesington in Stonecrest, Georgia. We opt to lease an apartment because we were not having any luck purchasing in this crazy market. In this post I will share the style of apartment we have, my pros and cons, my take on the staff and, any regrets and would I refer friends and family here. This is a gated community close to just about everything you can need or want and about 3 to 5 mins from I-20. We have a 2 bed/2 ba unit with fireplace, black appliances, black subway backsplash and a washer and dryer, a total of 1276 sq ft. I love our apartment. It gives you the feel of a small home. I absolutely love the architect with all the huge crown molding and arch ways as well as the entry way. The dining room is a great size and has a beautiful wall picture molding. The living room is a little smaller than we would have liked but still a decent size to hold our small sectional and a side chair without feeling cramped. The tray ceiling is an extremely nice touch as well as the high ceilings throughout. In addition to that it has a built in workstation with a built in book shelf and we actually have a wash room and not a wash closet. The balcony is a nice size and the storage closet was a huge bonus and a great place to put my cruiser and roller skates. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice sizes. We have a king size bed and still had room for a couple of small side tables and a six drawer dresser. The bathrooms have large soaker tubs with shower combo, something us ladies can really appreciate. There are also huge walk-in closets with plenty of room for clothes, hats shoes and purses as well as linen closet in each room. Also the complex has a trash compactor station and another disposal station for large unwanted furniture and household items that can’t go into the compactor. Also included is a car wash station, something I know you men can appreciate. Ok now that we talked about some of the pros, I’ll share the cons then I’ll jump into some more pros. We didn’t realize our unit did not have a microwave so we had to purchase our own. I’m not crazy about the extra community fees and additional structure insurance required and if you’re looking for stainless steel appliances and granite countertops you will not get that here. We have had some issues around the apartment but once a work order was placed, maintenance was here within 24 hours to address them. Honestly there wasn’t much cons. The property is beautiful and has four swimming pools including one lagoon style pool, playground for those of you with kids, a fitness room that could use some updating and cleaning, a business center and a clubhouse. There is also a very nice walking trail, which we plan to take full advantage of. The grounds are well maintained and overall the complex is very quiet. I really wished there were tennis courts but that was not a deal breaker for me. Now about the staff, Rose and Sidney are amazing and are very kind and helpful. Rose walked us through the leasing process and insured we had everything with Sidney as her Hero Support, what more can I say, they were truly an awesome duo. To summarize this post, again I absolutely love our apartment and the cons were not enough to make me regret the choice to lease here and I would definitely refer Wesley Kesington to friends and family and I’m looking forward to enjoying my lay over here until hopefully the housing market changes. I gave it four stars only because I felt I should not have had to call maintenance so soon but again not a regret or a deal breaker. I hope this post was helpful to someone trying to make a decision to move here.

2022-07-11Sidney is fantastic!! He was so patient with me as I was indecisive and asked a lot of questions. He was very informative and made sure my apt was ready on time. I appreciate all the help he gave! The apt is clean and the perfect size!
