Wonderful food and service. FRIENDLY! Easy off interstate. Good variety. Best meatloaf ever. All the food was 👏 AMAZING 😋❤
Passing through, we came across this restaurant and took a chance. A true diamond in the rough. Our waitress was so friendly and the food was surprisingly very good.
My family and I stopped by for lunch and we had a delicious meal. The lunch buffet was $8.29 per person plus $2 drinks. They have a nice Midwestern food selection that was well stacked, fresh, and hot. The BBQ ribs and mashed potatoes were the best! The desserts also hit the spot. If this sounds like its up your alley, do check it out. The establishment is clean, well-kept, and the staff is attentive and friendly.

Our experience was directly related to our waitstaff person. I dont remember her name but she hails from Miami. She was incredibly efficient, friendly and professional. Our empty plates were taken away soon after we finished- it matters. Looking at dirty plates is not appetizing. Our drinks arrived promptly. The good food was made even better by our lovely waitress. Shes a keeper WS!
We arrived not long after opening. Food was fresh and hot. Very good service and friendly staff. Cute decor and will go back. We didnt have steak, but had the Sunday lunch buffet

Finding a place to eat on the way home from Florida is always an adventure. You never know what you are going to get. This was a pleasant surprise. Offering American food on buffet. Our you can order from the menu if you are in the mood for a steak. Good customer service. Good food. Good price. I would highly recommend this location!

The staff was so rude. To customers and to each other. They were cussing and yelling at each other. The ladies from the back that were filling the bar was rude and tapped her foot while waiting on me to move. I got fried chicken and it started bleeding on my plate. I tried a second piece and raw in the middle as well. When we told our waitress who by the way never came to our table, we had to hunt her down. We told her we werent complaining just didnt want anyone sick she rolled her eyes and said shed tell management which they never took the chicken off the bar. The cashier was super sweet though. Waste of money to be honest.
Good food. Quick stop off I75 exit 39. Our waitress, Stacie, friendly and attentive. Cashier not so much. Worthy place to eat. Buffett clean and fresh, gloves on the side to use while serving yourself.
I would have given a 5 star rating but the cooka keep on filling up everything but the stuff that is empty. We have waited 45 minutes and still no mac and cheese. Asked the waitress and she stated she was not the cook and had no idea. After complaining for 40 minutes she finally came and said itll be another 20 minutes. Now I know they dont freshly baked the mac and cheese. Never coming to this one again.

Not that busy. Cashier was my waitress. After delivering my steak. Never saw her till I left. Buffet so so salad ok hot food mediocre at best. Steak comes super rare I ordered med rare. No service available. To return it. Guess I should halve walked it back to grill myself.
Ok, so masks arent required when entering however they want you to wear gloves to serve yourself. Mind you the gloves are all in a basket and everyone is touching them... defeats the purpose of gloves when you cross contaminate EVERYTHING. Now about the food, I fully expected something similar to home cooked food, not burnt to a crisp for everything on that so called buffet. Honestly I guess I was expecting the southern hospitality and cooking that I have always been told about. While that may exist, it surely does not at this disgusting restaurant . The health department should do a surprise visit every once in a while.
Food and service was excellent! Best steaks I have had at a restaurant ever! Sorry longhorn and outback but the steaks at this location cant be compared they are the best. Also the staff is excellent courteous and friendly!
The food and service is great, the only complaint I have is the girls up front when you walk in (kayla and brianna),Kayla especially. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. Also I found it very unprofessional that they were standing up front complaining about customers while customers are standing right there. The negativity from those girl make me not even want to bring my service here. If it weren’t for them it would be an all around pleasant experience.
I paid extra not to get a stake that was horrible, it looked more like a gray pork chop, do not buy their stake, that aint beef. Instead pay less for the buffet which actually had a bbq chicken that looked really good and other southern choices that looked pretty good too. Wont be back to this stable.
Stopped on way to Florida, we never ever been here before. The food on the buffet was not fresh ☹️. Right before we started to leave they finally put fresh out. The food that was on the bar wasnt even stirred up very dry on top. The corn on the cob wasnt fit to eat. We should have ordered fresh food off the menu. Very dissatisfied with our meal. I only wished it would have been fresh, because the selection was good except dry and old. Wasnt any fresh meat until we started to leave. The salad bar is the only safe food choices. We ordered the buffet!
Delicious we ate there 2 × 1 time going to Tennessee and one time going back to Florida, The fried chicken is Delicious for meat loaf wonderful, The 1st time we ate there was on a Sunday they had ham Lima beans, And away back to Florida we stopped in on a Monday delicious thank you very much for keeping it reasonable
Food was fabulous. It was not a huge buffet, but what was there was fresh and very tasty. Was not overcooked. Chicken and dumplings were GREAT. Baked chicken was falling apart. Fried pork chops were very tender. Chocolate mousse was so sweet! Cashier had the BEST personality! Our waitress was super nice and was on the ball. She was working her tail off. Place looked clean. I had not been here in a long time, but I definitely will go back!
We had the best experience at this restaurant! My husband said his steak was perfect. The staff was super friendly. The buffet & salad bars were tidy & always full. And my water glass never dropped below half full before it was topped off. Excellent end to a great day. Thanks so much! We will return next time we travel to Florida.
Well I loved it. Fresh greens!! Excellent fried chicken. Very friendly staff. I tried to taste everything on the buffet.!! All I had was great. Except for the baked chicken. It was kinda tough. And its seriously cheap to eat there. Two people at $16.00 ?! Ya cant beat that!! I seriously recommend this spot...
First and last time ordering take out. May try the buffet in the future. Paid $30+ for 2 meals, was given stale bread with both. The grilled shrimp skewers was obviously frozen, very rubbery and unpleasant. Fries were soggy but at least tasted okay. The ribeye steak, while cooked perfectly, was completely flavorless, even the fat was completely bland and only about a half inch thick. The baked potato is awesome and was the best part of my meal after I dressed it on my own with toppings since it comes totally bare. Customer service was good from what I experienced just picking my order up. For the price I expected restaurant quality food but this was definitely the fast food equivalent to a steakhouse with outrageous pricing due to the bad quality of food and the portion size which was too small to fill either of us up. Try don julios across the street, they are miles better for the same price or less.
Our waitress was amazing super sweet on time she took great care of us... But that Cashier with them long ahh eye lashes was rude af she almost ruined the whole experience. Our waitress definitely made up for the bs that with the cashier.
Stop their last week to eat lunch.. I was charged $12.50. Later that night I was mysteriously charge another $10. Owner reached out to me once but never resolved the situation.. I guess they decided to take additional tip🤷♂️

Solid hot meal when traveling. Ordered sirloin tips with onions and green peppers and salad bar. Veggies were a tidbit salty but fresh and good. Steak was okay. Best part of dinner were the rolls. Once again, good hot meal while traveling.
Stopped while heading south to Florida. Exited the highway for gas and everyone was hungry. I told kids to pick where they wanted as long as it didnt serve a side of fries eith the meal. We saw this place and sent a kid in to scout it out. He saw the buffet and said the place was clean looking so we drove right in.Buffet food was hot and delicious. I was afraid it was a heat-and-serve type place and if so they did a good job of making it seem like it wasnt.No one had any major complaints of the food they got.
We were in a large group so all did the buffet to make it easy. No one complained of any taste issues but several of the hot items were not kept at a proper temperature. Almost room temp. Drink service and plates clearing was fine.
Visited this restaurant at 8pm on a Friday night. While this restaurant offers a menu you can get steaks made to order I opted for the buffet for us this night to try out for the first time. The menu is very limited on variety and the food is not fresh enough. I realize we went there at 8pm and that they close at 9:30pm but the food should be fresh and not hard and stale. The chicken had no flavor, the green beans tasted mushy and the cupcakes were hard and the frosting was already hard on top. Really disappointed in this restaurant experience. While I realize its cheap for paying only $22 for two people with drinks I still expected more due to the other restaurants in the area having fresher food and service. I might go back one day but for one Ill rate it two stars. If it changes Ill update review.
Will not be going back. Went to the one in Adel, Georgia. Hot food not hot, cold food not cold. Tasted like cafeteria food that had been sitting out all day. Cottage cheese was sour! Not hard to open a can of food and put it out on ice or heat it. Hospital food is first class compared to this place. This place needs management to focus and be involved! Staff talked and joked with each other and locals, not paying attention to refills at our table. Still left a nice tip but it was disgusting and disappointing. I try to see positive in things but unfortunately I do NOT and can NOT recommend this place.

Only reason i gave this place 2 stars was the friendly staff. If you want a place to drink coffee and chat this is the place to go. If you want a good steak stay home. I ordered steak ..baked potato.. and shrimp. Steak was full of gristle.no taste. Potato tasted like it was cooked the day before and mircowaved. Shrimp breading fell off as soon as you picked it up. 2 others had buffet. Food is not kept at right temperature...Hot food is warm...cold food is warm!!
Food was excellent, except for a couple of items that were tastless. But the bad part was the fried chicken. Dried up wings was all that was left, probably been there all day. Several customers complained but none where put out. The curious thing was a new bar host came on shift and immediately called out loudly need more chicken a waitress ran over to her quickly and began whispering in her ear. Then nothing else was said.
Cashier was very unfriendly, and was not accommodating once I discovered that I should have been charged the senior buffet. Assuming that someone has been to an establishment before is a big and rude mistake. Theres a sign on the buffet table, that has a list of meats that you can request, but cooking staff says fish is only on Fridays and Mondays, if that wasnt enough, the cabbage was still raw when put out on the hot table. Very disappointed in this location. My waitress was the most pleasant part of the visit. Thanks Thea.
My husband & I just ate here and it was TERRIBLE!! We got the lunch buffet and it was just so so. All they have to choose from is basically fried or baked chicken, meatloaf or fish.The cashier acted as if shed rather be ANYWHERE else. I will say the waitress was nice though.If you want all you can eat, dont waste your time here...go to Golden Corral...they have a much better selection and its better too!
This place sucked! I dont know how else to put it! The food was cold on the buffer the lettuce was wilted and the dressing was warm! The best part of being here was the entertainment of the employees talking about there personal lives from one side of the place to the other! Our waitress was friendly and did her job well but I really do not care about you and your co-workers personal lives at all! I now know more about the 3 employees and their very open private lives than I care too!
Price was good, service wasnt the greatest. Everyone was nice but they werent very busy and us and another gentleman had to notify someone we didnt have silverware. So my advice is attention to detail and a silverware detail for the clean tables. Kept my drink full and they were very polite. They just need to brush up on some of their waiting skills. O and the steak was great on the outside portions but the inside was tough. I got it medium. It was light pink in the middle but it tasted like it was cooled too long in the middle or came straight from the freezer to the grill. Im not sure. So not a bad steak but not a great steak either. Just constructive criticism.
We had this restaurant recommended to us. I dont know if the person who recommended this place was playing a cruel joke or was using some passive-aggressive revenge thing on us. To her credit she told us NOT to get the buffet but because we were pressed for time, we did.HORRIBLE mistake! What wasnt overcooked was over-salted or under-seasoned. OR it was overcooked AND poorly seasoned. Despite having multiple items on the buffet, we were hard pressed to find one decent thing. We will need up eating the rolls.Not going back.
We have been to other Sizzlin locations before in our travels, and 3 stars is the best they would get, but this location was spot on!! We got there just after opening, and it was clean and inviting! The food smells filled the room, the food was fresh, hot and full. This was the best Sizzlin we have been to.
A great selection of food, steaks, chicken and buffet with deserts.....whats not to like for roughly 10 bucks? I ate 3 plates of various types of food, all were excellent and fresh. I was just passing through on my way to Tennessee, but if I did come through again, I would definitely stop here at Western Sizzlin again.
The food was either over cooked or been seating there a while. The Okra was old n hard, the fried Chicken was over cooked, the popcorn shrimp was cool been sitting awhile, the Hostess Didnt seem like she wanted to be there let alone want me there. There buffet variety is Small reminds me of the chow hall in boot camp in Fort Knox Ky. The deserts, wow not much there cookies, 2 types of pudding, a cake that look rough, n a soft serve ice cream machine that only did vanilla, no sprinkle or tops etc. Yeah, Never me, my family, or family friends will be coming here again.
The food was sub par. Ordered steak tips medium rare they were raw and blue inside. Salad bar was old and wilted. Waitress never came over to ask if everything is ok. $40.00 for the two of us. Never again.
Food was ok. At least my steak was cooked right but was very basic on seasoning. Fiance got the buffet and he said it was pretty good. The service however was not any good at all from the greeter/order taker to wait staff. Took quite a while to get drinks and once we did the glasses were dripping with tea as if they were scooped from a barrell rather than poured. So of course I had to clean that up. Then asked for ketchup. The waitress set it on a table where another employee was sitting (Im assuming they were on their break) and when asked again she got an attitude like the other employee on break should have given it to us. When she came back over to refill our cups she brought a full glass of tea with ice and poured them in our glasses spilling tea on the table and floor and didnt bother to say excuse me or clean it up. And the glass with the left over tea just pretty much slammed it in front of us as if to say heres some more if you want it. Very poor service not impressed at all.
Im a fan of WS but I can honestly say this was very disappointing. From start to finish this location is lacking. The buffet is small so options are few. The brown gravy tasted burnt, the instant potatoes had no flavor, meatloaf was really salty, fried chicken was extra greasy, rolls & cookies were dry & hard, & the chocolate mouse looked like it had been there a few days. The only redemption here is the staff was friendly.
Fast, friendly table service; perfectly decent inexpensive sirloin steak cooked as requested (in my car, very rare—got it just right!); salad bar was fresh and tasty. My fries were okay—acceptable, but not exceptional. My husband had the hot lunch buffet; he reported that the fried chicken was good, but the corn was strangely bland and the green beans were too salty. The rolls, however, we also a hit—light and airy.I wouldnt hesitate to stop here again.Overall, a serviceable lunch stop.
This Western Sizzling in adel was a huge disappointment. We are used to an excellent salad bar and great selection of food I most chains. This food was very poor quality and not very good 😌. The staff was friendly ! Won’t return .
Service was ok but the food wasnt good at all. Probably will not eat there again for sure not the buffet. I will travel on to Valdosta where they have great buffets like Mama Junes and Ole Times. WS could use some tips from them about good food not outta the can.
Fair price for salad bar. Chicken, meat balls in gravy, and foreign catfish was the entries. All else was side dishes, also deserts. Steak needed to be ordered at entry. I didnt know that, and it wasnt explained to me either. I tried to explain that to the girl that took the money, and she said that she shouldnt have to tell me that. Wont be back.

Western Sizzlin used to be a nice place to go to get a decent buffet meal for a reasonable price. Not so much anymore, while the price is still reasonable ($9.62 for adult buffet) the severely limited selection of items on the buffet line make it more like a $5.00 buffet. Food quality has gone downhill through the years and shall I state again, very limited selection of buffet items. While some may still like eating here this frequent traveler will never be stopping here again. Staff was friendly except for the young girl at the register who had no personality whatsoever and was more interested in texting than providing a smile and some customer service.
The food and service were both tasteless. One of our party heard the waitress complain about us asking for too much when we asked for our drinks to be refilled and extra sour cream. We went without refills. The kids lids dont fit their cups so my sons drink kept getting spilt.

I had a ribeye steak. I had asked for it to be cooked medium rare but it was more medium well. Thats the only reason I was giving them a 3. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean.
#goodeatingonabudget Western Sizzlin was very nice. A great spot for quick service with an all you can eat option. The staff took care of us with a smile and weve been back since. Food selection could be more extensive, but if youre looking for good southern dishes in a pleasant atmosphere then this is the place to go.
It was a typical Western Sizzlin experience the staff was friendly and helpful the food was as good as could be considering it was Buffet and we were not there during the busy time. I would definitely recommend stopping in if nothing else just the comfort of knowing what you are getting. This place was easy to spot from the interstate and the parking was plentiful and close to the entrance, seem to be a regular crowd along with a few Travelers. This is not a 5-star review but I didnt feel like I had enough information to give it 5 stars so the missing star is not due to the service or the food just the fact that I was not able to give any more information.
No! Absolutely not! Mashed potatoes tasted like school/jail food. Everything was dry and had barely any flavor.
If there were an option for 0 stars to leave a review I would. I usually only review somewhere if I gave nice things to say. However, as this is a public health issue I am making an exception. I stopped here with my fiance on our way back from Florida. I went to the salad bar 1st and there was a worm or maggot in the lettuce. We immediately asked for our money back and left. Im not sure how a place can stay in business when they dont even bother to wash their lettuce. Especially since recently there have been so many listeria scares with lettuce. The health department needs to make an emergency visit.
I didnt like anything about this restaurant. I paid 20 dollars for two people and it was a waste of money. When I first walked up to the buffet it smelled nasty and I could barely find anything that I liked. The chicken was nasty and everything was cold. Everything looked like it had been sitting there for hours. We tried dessert and the ice cream was liquidy and discolored. The service we had was horrible. I will never go there again and advise every one to go to burger king instead of going there. The place should be torn down.

Some of the food on buffet was good and some not. Meatloaf top was burnt and was kind of dry. Chicken was good. Some salad fixings seemed fresh like lettuce, but some of the cucumbers not so much. Some tomatoes were mushy. Had to pick through to find decent tomatoes. Crutons tasted stale. Cooks from kitchen were creepy. They would come out from kitchen and stand against wall and stare. Gave me uneasy feeling. Then when you went to salad bar they were literally right behind you fixing tongs seconds after you got an item. Excuse me for not placing them back exactly the way you had them. Just made you feel uncomfortable. Especially just standing there staring at you while you were getting something off buffet or eating. Seriously I get keeping up, but go look busy I dont need you staring at me eating.
Small buffet and desert bar, only thing that was worth eating was the fried chicken, fired pork and the mash potatoes. Everything else was very bland. Price should be $6.99 for the little they offer and the no taste of 90% of the items of this small buffet.
Great buffet. Southern homecooking 😛 Very reasonably priced. Truckers, even though trucks often park there, I prefer to park at the big truck stop right across the street and then walk across the highway. If there are too many trucks in The restaurants parking, it can be tricky to move around in there. The car drivers dont care if they park right in front of your way out. Anyway, Ive been going there for years to eat. I like the people that work there. They are pleasant and they make sure you are taken care of. This restaurant is also close to two hotels and several other places to eat, and also close to a Walmart.
The dessert I had was a strawberry shortcake it was dry and the pickles,the chicken and the meatballs my husband had was freezer burnt and the shrimp had no flavor those are the bad part but the good part was the fish,hush puppies, corn,green beans and the sweet tea was good the service was good
Friendly staff, decent steaks that dont need anything added to them for taste pretty good buffet, good prices. Ordered food comes out cooked as ordered and relatively quickly. Never had a bad experience here.
Enjoyed my steak, shrimp, and salad. The peanut butter cookies were delicious. My first yeast roll was not fresh, but I was able to catch more being placed fresh. Server was friendly.
Should have left when we walked in at 6:30 and there was only 6 tables of people. Awful food buffet choices, employees standing around talking and playing on their phones. Fried chicken was good thats about it. Shouldve went across the road to Huddle House instead.
We always enjoy stopping in when down this way. Very pleasant. A wee bit to much food from a can just heated and served. But still a great choice over burger joints.. I would love to see more fresh cooked veggies and less processed meats smothered in gravy.

I have traveled a lot and eaten at many Western sizzlins through the years with no complaints. But the one in Adel, Georgia is the worst !!!!!!!!!! It is absolutely horrible. The chicken and dumplings was OK. But everything else on the buffet wasnt fit to feed to my dog!!! The four in my group all agreed the food was terrible. And sure wasnt worth the $40.00 it cost me. !!!!!!!!!!?
Good food, but meats are not diabetic friendly. Most meats are fried. Salad is good. A sugar free dessert offered would be nice, too!
Very mediocre buffet food, it was really bland and not very appetizing. We went on a Sunday, there was a huge after church crowd. Buffet itself was tidy, I just didnt care for the food.
It was ok I went with my mom we had lunch we got the buffet I liked the salad bar that is a must for me. I had went with my hubby about 5 years ago and we had ordered the steaks had salad baked potatoes it was really great.
They bought out a pan of chicken. While placing the chicken in the pan of chicken that was on the buffet the waitress dropped 2 pieces on the bar. She picked them up and put them in the pan on the bar. Another waitress was sweeping the floor. Grab the dustpan and dumped the trash in the trashcan and then went inside the refrigerator without washing her hands.
Not many options to choose from on the buffet. Food did not have any flavor. Server was not friendly and was rude and not very inviting. We will never be back.
Decent food. We were semi enjoying our meal when something started to crawl on my leg. I thought it was a spider until I flung it off and the waitress said “Spider where?” I said “There, oh wait that’s not a spider.” Waitress said “Oh that’s a Ro-a bug.” She stepped on it and said “They sprayed yesterday it’s ok.” We left.
11-1-17 Came in about 7:45 pm, 2 adults and 2 kids. Food was hot and fresh. Service was good. The BBQ wings were delicious!

This thing makes me put one star when I wish it could be minus stars. I ordered a steak and potato and a large sweet tea. The steak was awful, greasy and dried out you could not cut it with a knife. A LARGE sweet tea was size of a small sippy cup. Way over priced!

Will NEVER come here again. Guy mopping up wet floor ignored my 7 year old when she slipped and fell. He threw a wet floor sign AFTER then walked away. Didnt even ask if she was okay. Spoke with the manager who said she was going to get our info in case anything my daughter needed to be seen my a doctor. She never came back...my daughter didnt even get an apoplogy! Waitress was sweet but the food was disgusting.
First time here, but it was pretty good. Fried chicken was sooo good and fresh! Its a buffet, but there are other items you have to order separately like steak or shrimp.
Very disappointed, drove from florida to come and eat here, arrived 7h30 pm and the place was closed. Had to continue my journey north on an empty stomach

The best country food place that we ever visited. Real good food, very courteous service on the tables and a very young Manager that knows his business. Wish we have one in Florida. Will visit again. Thanks
Hostess was not hospitable at all. Food was mediocre, at best. The last time we will drive 15 miles to western sizzlin.
Good old southern food
Great place for fried chicken and chicken n dumplings. Awesome buffet choices. Reminds me of home growing up. Always stop to eat on my way to Alabama from Florida.
Went for a steak dinner with three other guys. Two of the four steaks were inedible, the other two seemed to be below average. After a $96 tab, myself and one other guy became severely ill. I spent 36 hours in the hospital after violently vomitting and diarreah for 12 hours. The other guy has yet to overcome his illness. Its been 4 days since the dinner. We have both missed 3 days of work.Service was great and waitress was very kind.
The food was nasty and service was sorry its not like western sizzlen used to be will not make a mistake to eat here again
I enjoyed going their. It was only a minor inconvenience to have to wear the gloves but the waitresses were friendly the food was good and overall it was a good experience.
The fried fish and pop corn shrimp when freshly replenished were edible. Everything else was scary and old.
Food was good and on my way leaving and my 95yr. Old Uncle almost fle d down and my husband broke the fall and people was so helpful one of the young men went and got a towel and wet it and brought it to me so I give God the praise and Glory
This place was a life saver. Was traveling with my mom and daughter came acrossthis lil place to eat and it was good. Everyone was able to pick something. Not a big selection but the food is good.
Go for the excellent vegetables and stay for dessert! Clean, neat, fresh food brought out several times while we ate. Return trip planned as we drive down I-75.
Hardly could find anything I liked which isnt necessarily the restaurants fault, but a lot of food was over salted and waitress spilt water on my food.I like WS in different states,but this was definitely the worst one I have been to. Small, dingy, and not a lot of selection.
Wait staff and cook staff are very friendly.....cashiers are slow and seem out of touch.....but I have had both the buffet and steaks here and both were very good!!! Across the road from the adel truck stop....4 lane Hwy....located in the Hampton Inn parking lot...so that is convenient too travelers....
The food we awesome. The staff were as frirndly as your neighbor. My price was great. I will be back again the net time Im down this way
Most of the food was luke warm. The fish was hot and had really good flavor. Everything else just seemed to be out for awhile.
Great atmosphere with great food. The employees are just as good. They also support our local high school football team. Come see them for great food.
About the best I can say is that they had food and it was edible. It wasnt fantastic and everything was either a little greasy and/or over salted... I probably wouldnt return if given another dining option.

It was ok, not a big selection. Waitress was real nice. But we got suckered into talking the buffet. I was waiting on menus and we just got rang up for to buffets.

Very quit place but need training on cross contaimnations on how the virus are spread .other than that the food was good and and people were nice.
The service there was horrible. The waiter I had has was very rude. There was someone spraying Windex over the food. My potato had been cooked so long that there was no middle left inside.
To me, totally disgusting... They put water in their salad dressing for crying out loud... For the price, and the leftover food they served yesterday, Ill never be back and wouldnt recommend anyone else hill either.

All the food was SOOO good!! Folks were friendly and we enjoyed absolutely everything. We were at the Adel, GA location. Loved it.
Buffet had the usual fried chicken, ham, and roast beef. Salad bar was okay. Nothing special that makes it stand out.
Really enjoyed my dinner at Western Sizzlin food was seasoned really good to taste. Stopped by on my way going to Atlanta. Will be back and prices are affordable.

The buffet was not of good quality vegetable dishes were greatly overcooked, so much so that they were discolored. And there were no options of meat dishes basically but chicken.

I had to remind them of my rolls and they over cook steak all the time so you have to order it under done in order to have it cooked to your preferences by the time you get home

People are nice, food is awful. My daughters burger crumbled as she bit into it. It was terribly dry.
The only thing I enjoyed on the buffet was the cornbread. I felt the fried chicken was greasy and the mac and cheese didnt have much flavor.

The Western Sizzlin is a great place to eat hand I often eat there during the weekend. I wish they just had sweet potatoes and pineapple instead of peaches all the time LOL

This was awful we got there about a hour before it closed the girl at the register said the grill was closed.We had been driving a long time and we were hungry so we paid for the buffet All of the workers looked like they didnt want to be there and one of the waitresses asked our waitress if she had a cigarette yet and they went out and had one

2022-05-25I have to be 100% honest. After reading the reviews we (my husband and I) were so nervous about eating here that we almost opted for McD’s instead. However, we really wanted a salad bar, so reluctantly we entered. It was NOT a disappointment; the salad bar was fresh, the fried chicken was perhaps the best we have had in years (we eat a lot of fried chicken)., the service was good, the whole experience was beyond what our expectations were by a long shot. There were a few things that I avoided because they looked like they had sat there for a while but over all a great experience.

2022-06-14Not many Western Sizzlins around anymore, but we were excited to see that this one is still in business. We were cutting through on the way home from Florida and stopped to try the buffet out. Food was delicious which included salad, roast beef, chicken and ham. Friendly service from the wait staff and they refused to let our cups run dry. We will be back whenever we can get to this area again someday

2022-06-04That was the worst place I have ever ate at .. 71 for 6 of us and the food would have tasted better if it was cooked by a blind man with hep c and no gloves on . The workers was so busy talking to each other they could have cleaned all the chicken bones off floor . Place was absolutely disgusting and needs the health Dept to come in and shut it down . If we dont get sick I will be surprised.

2022-05-21Food was not very good. Tasted old. Meatballs and fried chicken were just ok. Ribs tasted like they were boiled and had bbq sauce poured on them. Green beans had vinegar flavor. Macaroni salad had no flavor. Potato salad was wangy. I thought Id try the salad. Cant go wrong with that. But the croutons were stale and tomatoes tasted old. When we stopped here I saw the score was 3.6 My new rule is dont eat anywhere with a score less than 4.2.

2022-02-09With all the big signs on the highway advertising this place I figured itd be like an old ponderosa streak house. Not the case. Buffet food wasnt hot and was old. Chicken was crispy but dry. And I dont even know what cut of steak that was but at least I ended up eatting half of a salad...

2022-01-03Terrible buffet food. Canned, mushy vegetables, fake potatoes. Really a disappointment. Tables needed washing, bathroom in need of attention, and a VERY strong gas odor throughout one side of the building. We reported the smell, and they didnt seem concerned. YIKES!

2022-07-05The food was just ok. We were underwhelmed by the food options. Maybe a step or two down in quality and selection from a Golden Corral. The running joke was there didnt appear to be anything Western or Sizzlin about the menu.

2020-01-28This experience was not what we expected, but this buffet house was very nice. Being in a very small town, the options of restaurants are limited. Food was great, service was excellent and a buffet dessert is the best! Best is that is was much healthier food selection!
